What a beautiful sight to behold: clear baby blue skies, the warm and bright sun shining down onto the seemingly crystal white shores, the littering of pretty shells along the shoreline, even the people were a nice sight to see. Sights like these are what drew Chise outside instead of locking herself in her kitchen. Chise smiled brightly as she looked out to the breath taking scene before her, clutching her beach bag in hand. Chise made sure to prepare for coming to the beach, packing essentials such as a small lunch in case she got hungry, a pair of sun glasses to shield her eyes from the sun's strong rays, plenty of sunscreen to protect her overly fair skin, one of her favorite books in case she wished to read instead of playing in the sand, a towel o dry off with in case she went into the water, and a big floppy hat because...everyone needed a big floppy hat. The only thing holding her back was....the fact that she may have picked the wrong swimsuit to come to a crowded beach in.
Chise was excited about her swimsuit a first, a mint green and white polka dotted bikini that clasped in the back, until she realized how crowded the beach was today. Chise made sure to sunscreen herself before leaving her home, slipping her cerulean cover up on overtop her swimsuit just to walk to the beach in. A soft sigh left Chise's lips, looking at all the people around her. Maybe if she just stayed in the shade and kept her coverup on, then she wouldn't have to worry about the judgmental gazes from others around her. Chise found a vacant lawn chair and umbrella and decided to place herself there, back away from where most of the action was happening. Chise sat down on the chair and set her bag down on the ground next to her, taking her bottle of water out she had brought and setting it on top of her bag in case she got thirsty. Chise adjusted the chair and leaned back against it, her floppy hat placed on top of her head and her sunglasses shielding her eyes. With another sigh, the redhead was finally content as she watched various people walk down on the beach, her eyes watching them all pass whether that be one person of a group of people. Everything would be alright, she could relax at the beach and not have to worry about taking her coverup off at all!

It was a beeautiful day! The sun was shinning, the skies were blue and the sea was crystal clear. The sight of Dagobah Beach almost reminded G of home. Good ol Hawaii. But, G didnt come here for pleasure and swimming. He was gonna work. He considered coming to train him, since his Quirk was actually great for marine rescue and combat. Not to mention he wanted to do that for once, instead of just fighting thugs and ...killing them "I wanna stop that. Ok! Time to be a new man" he thought, determined
But saw that the beach was packed and crowded. So no way in Hell was he gonna train. So he decided an alternative. Be a life guard. The crowded beach surely had a typical life guard to help in a situation if a civillian was to drown or whatever. But G decided to be a different life guard. Protect the civillians from Villains. He remembered that during his one meeting with his little girl, how she saw an octopus looking Villain on this very beach. He had to make sure the place was Villain free not just for her, but for everyone. So G started walking and patrolling the beach. Keeping an eye on all the civillians to keep em safe

Chise was content, relaxing under her umbrella, looking out at the beautiful blue ocean before her. She took another drink of her water before sighing on content, good old fashioned water hit the spot on a hot day like today. She was glad she chose to stay under the umbrella, knowing her she would be as red as a lobster if she spent too much time out in the sun. Chise watched as different people, all with what she guessed with various types of emitter, transformation, and mutation quirks enjoyed their time on the beach just as much as she was. It was as if nothing could ruin this day for her. Chise was about to get her book out of her bag before something...more like someone strange seemed to cross her path. Chise sat up and watched as the strange, and ominous, looking man crossed in front of her.
Chise watched from behind her sunglasses as a man who appeared to be in what looked like a track suit and sneakers and way to much accessories walked in front of her. Sure it was rather odd to be wearing a tracksuit in this heat at this time of day but it didn't appear like he was out for a run. He had no water, or means of staying hydrated, on him, his clothes appeared to be more street ware than beach ware. Something fishy was going on and it wasn't the group of fish quirk kids who were playing a bit to the right of where she was. Chise decided to get up momentarily and follow the man, wanting to see if he was attempting something or if she was just getting paranoid. Chise got up from her chair and placed her bag on it, keeping her spot secured as she went out into the sun and followed a bit behind the man, appearing as if she was just taking a walk down the beach. She winced as the hot sand hit her feet but she walked where the water had already hit the sand in hopes of alleviating the burning sensation from the bottoms of her feet.

G was patrolling the beach and walking around. He enjoyed the hot and sunny day. And he enjoyed this beach. He felt like he was in his true element. Not on the streets like a thug, but here with the clear skies, the sun, the sand and the sea. While patrolling he thought he could actually relax and rest on the beach, go for a swim just like any civillian. But then he remembered its dangerous to go to the beach alone and swim alone. While you're swimming in the sea, someone could steal your clothes, your items, your money, your towel. Everything. And by the time you see the thief and swim out to him, he'll be already gone. Thats why its always best to come to the beach with at least one person. While one swims, the other protects stuff and personal items.
And that was also another reason he started patrolling, in case someone left their stuff all alone, he could spot a suspicious person trying to steal from people and try to be casual and unnoticed. While patrolling though he heard footsteps. Someone was walking behind him. Considering this was a beach and a public area, of course someone was bound to go in the same direction as him for a while. But, this didnt feel like that. The footsteps behind him seem to persist. This wasnt going in the same direction as him. This was following him. He then quickly turned around and raised his fist in the air to sucker punch the stalker "HA!! I GOT-" he saw no one behind him. But then he looked down and saw a little girl "..you..." He was dumbfounded that a little girl was following him, he carefully just lowered his fist and gently spoke "Can I help you, little girl?"

Chise kept her guard low, acting just like she was taking a nice walk on the beach, she didn't want to attract any unwanted attention. She followed behind the suspicious man, keeping her distance as they walked, glancing back at him every minute or so in case he looked back and saw her. Chise thought she was doing really well following the other, he hadn't once stopped or looked back at her! Maybe she was cut out to be a spy after all! She wasn't paying attention for a moment, neglecting the fact the other had stopped, raised his fist in the air and quickly turned around to punch said 'offender' in the face. Chise turned her attention back at him the moment before he turned around, now directly behind him. Chise yelped and raised her hands to cover her face, when she saw him turn with his fist in the air and cry out.
Chise felt her heart beat in her throat, expecting the other to punch her in the face. Did he realize she was following him? Of course he did! That's why he stopped and was going to punch her in the face....but the punch never came. Chise slowly opened her eyes to look up at the man before lowering her arms to get a better look at the guy. He certainly was tall compared to her 5'3 stature, then again almost everyone was taller than she was. "H-Huh?" Chise stuttered when she heard the suspicious looking man ask if he could help her. "Ah n-no I am alright....just taking a short walk down the b-beach to stretch my legs...but for the record, I'm not a little girl...I'm a high school student." Chise managed to say, her nerves rattling her body, still in shock of the fact he could have hit her if he wanted to.

He was still surprised that a mere child followed him around. He regretted that he scared her with his initial reaction, but luckily he managed to restrain himself, which in a way reassured him as he felt he was making progress. The little girl then spoke. It seemed like she spoke one truth and one lie. The truth was obviously that she was a high school student. And the lie was that she was just walking down the beach. He was patrolling and he found it odd that she used the same route he used to patrol, to just have a casual walk
"A high school student, huh. Well, the fact that you go to a school still makes you a child. Speaking of school, its time for ya boy to school you. One, dont lie. Its not cool. Two, are your parents here? Three, are you lost? Four, why did you follow me? I know for a fact that you were following me, cause I didnt take a route thats used to casually just stroll along the beach. So whats up" he said as he crossed his hands
This kid looked nice, but he wondered why she was followin him. Was she lost and wanted to ask for help? Next he wondered did she follow him because of his looks. Sure, he still looks Villanous, and actually since he made the leap from Villain to Vigilante, its not like he changed costume. His look didnt change, but his attitude did. But even so, G didnt care about fancy heroic looks or the media. He cared about results.

"H-Huh? School me?" Chise asked, quite baffled the other was trying to teach her a lesson when in fact she believed she did nothing wrong. For all she knew, she was stopping the 'criminal' from committing something horrible! She listened to his 'lesson' and waited until it was her turn to explain herself. Chise took a deep breath and looked at the other with a serious expression on her face before she began speaking, "One, I didn't lie. I was taking a walk. Two, no my parents are not here. Three, no I am not lost. Four, you looked suspicious. No one just wears a heavy track suit to the beach if they aren't running. If anything, they would wait until it was cooler outside to wear a long sleeved track suit while running. Plus it is not the correct time of year to wear a track suit without overheating or risking passing out from heat stroke." Chise kept herself mostly calm as she spoke, but was determined to get her point across to the other. She didn't want to cause to make the other patrons of the beach worry so she tried keeping her voice down but still strict and powerful.
"What exactly is your plan? What purpose do you have for being here other than enjoying the beach? It doesn't appear as you were taking a walk either. Something is up and I am determined to find out what. I may not be able to take you on physically but I will not withhold from telling the authorities if there is any strange activity going on." Chise knew she had to get answers or else, she had to uncover the truth by any means.

"Oh, so you see me as a shifty looking guy, eh? What are you a Hero? Ok ok, listen kiddo. If you want my MO or alibi or whatever. I came here to train, but the beach was packed full with people so I decided to patrol the area and make it safe from Villains or petty thieves, cuz Im a Hero... ok....I dont have the paperwork to be an official goverment Hero, but I guess then ...well you know" he avoided saying Vigilante cuz he wasnt sure what this kids stance was on vigilanteism. But something she said also caught his attention
"Wait. You're not with your parents? Are you with your friends at least? Surely you werent foolish enough to just follow me and leave your stuff back where ever you were? Dont you know that even most most normy of people could be petty vultures stealing the most mundane stuff? People could steal your bag or your wallet or something as stupid as a dress! I've seen it happen! Take me to your beach spot already!" he quickly said
Just because areas were public, didnt mean that they were safe. Sure public areas prevented Villains or killers from commiting their crimes. But public places were openings for different kind of crimes, petty crimes. People would steal some mundane stuff or pickpocket people. Beaches,or bus stations or cramped buses and other public transportations. They were unsafe in a different way. And G knew that, as an ex Villain, he saw and lived both sides. He knew what a major Villain would do and what a minor rookie Villain would do, since thats how he started out way back when he was a youngster. But now as a Vigilante, he knew what kind of crimes were possible and he believed himself much more capable in preventing them

"Train huh, in this kind of weather? You must be pretty bold to train in the scorching heat. Did you even put any sun screen on? Did you bring something to keep you hydrated? I don't see a bag on you so the answer must be no. You could get seriously injured if you don't correctly prepare to train in these conditions," Chise said, almost feeling like a mother scolding her child for not listening. "So you're not a professionally trained hero, how did you think you could stop a villain if one happened to show up on the beach?" she asked, figuring the guy must be either a vigilante or some super crazed civilian.
"No, I came to the beach by myself. I don't live that far and the weather was nice so I decided to com down by myself. I don't see what's so wrong with that," Chise said with a light shrug. She came to the beach all the time by herself, and every time she did she was perfectly fine. Why would today be any different? "I didn't have anything of real value in my bag. Just some snacks, some water, a towel and a book. Nothing too exciting to ste-..." she was cut off as the other's outburst sounded over her own voice. Why did this guy care about her belongings anyway? Chise knew she wouldn't get rid of this guy, not when he was so persistent on seeing her bag. With a soft sigh she spoke, "Alright alright, I'll take you to where I was." Chise turned around and walked back to where she had been sitting only minutes before she followed this stranger.

"Listen kid. Im a pro. Im experienced, I came to train my quirk. Not dilly dally and jog. And so what if its a hot day? Its nice and as I said. Im not planning to run and sweat. I wanna test out my Quirk and see if its really good for marine battle and rescue. But sadly, the beach is packed and I cant use it otherwise people would freak the fuck out" he explained.
But then she said if he wasnt a professionally trained hero how did he think he could stop a Villain at the beach. This question almost made G burst out laughing "Oh kid, you're hilarious!" then he switched to a more serious tone and a more intimidating look on his face "I can deal with Villains no problem. Got that?" But that moment of seriousness only lasted a mere moment, a few seconds before he switched to a more normal or casual attitude. And after more talking, she finally agreed to take him her beach spot
G was a little annoyed that this child wasnt reasonable. He was just here to make sure the civillians were safe. So she could be safe "Fucking ingrate" he thought to himself as he followed her now

She didn't really trust him or his judgement, everything about him seemed phony. She would go along with it for now but her guards were still up. She wouldn't let him do anything suspicious on her watch. "You never once said you weren't planning on going for a run. All you said is that you were here to train. You never specified what sort of training so don't assume you already told me something which you hadn't." Chise told him, soon reaching her chair and belongings once more.
She sat down on her chair and looked through her bag to make sure nothing was stolen from it. Once finished she looked back up at the strange man with a plain look on her face. "Nothing of mine was stolen. Everything I had packed is still here. I appreciate your...concern but I am fine. I have come to the beach on my own plenty of times before and every time nothing went wrong. I'm still rather on the fence with your alibi but I will not interrupt again if all you are doing is...training as you say. If I see even the smallest bit of strange activity, I will not hesitate to tell authorities." Chise thought it might be best to let this go, it might turn out to be nothing after all. She wouldn't want to waste such a nice day worrying about some punk wanting to train...even though he was a rather suspicious character with the getup he has on. "Why didn't you think to dress more appropriately for the beach if you wanted to train here? A swimsuit would be a good place to start off," Chise told him, inadvertedly trying to help the other blend in and not be suspicious to the others around them.

He was a bit speechless, he JUST said that he came to train his Quirk and not run around like a fool. He even said how he wanted to test and train his Quirk. Was this girl not listening? Or was her head full of hot air?? Nevertheless, he reapeated himself and shouted in her ear "I said. I CAME TO TRAIN MY QUIRK NOT RUN AROUND AND SWEAT AND JOG!! I WANTED TO TEST OUT MY QUIRK AND SEE WAS IT REALLY GOOD FOR MARINE BATTLES AND RESCUES!!! BUT I HAD TO DROP ALL THAT BECAUSE THE BEACH IS PACKED WITH PEOPLE AND MY QUIRK MIGHT SCARE EM AND MAKE THEM THINK THERES A SHARK OR WHATEVER!!!"
Sure shouting in someones ear is terrible, but he had to do it, so he could get his message through her thick skull. After she FINALLY led him to her beach stuff, she checked and saw nothing was taken. Good. But there was always a first time for anything. Hell, he personally knew a girl who was robbed at the beach and the perpetrator just took her dress and she had to go home wrapped in a towel. People were petty, stuff is bound to happen and he had to make sure.
She once again asked him why he dressed like this. "Girl, are you the fashion police or something? Why does it bother you that much what Im dressed like? You can say its a 'cultural difference' or whatever. Im Hawaiian, the scorching heat of the sun and the beach doesnt phase me. I'd love to relax here, but my duty is to protect y'all. And besides, going to the beach alone is sad and lonely. Well...at least to me" he said

Chise's eyes widened when she heard the other yell at her, repeating what he had just said only moments ago. She winced at how loud he was, almost as if he was going to burst her eardrum from how loud he was screaming into her ear. "Shhhh quiet down! You're going to cause a scene!" Chise angerly whispered, not wanting to draw unwanted attention to them. Why did he pick today to train his quirk anyway? Couldn't he have done it another day or on a day when there weren't that many people around? A bad decision on his part. "Well what exactly is your quirk then since you can't show it? Huh? Making animals out of light or something?" Chise asked, his quirk must be dangerous if he couldn't show it around others. She had to be sure he wasn't going to harm the others and was only here to 'train' or so he says.
Chise looked at the man in shock, accusing her of being the so called fashion police for criticizing his outfit. "For your information I was only trying to help. How was I supposed to know you were from Hawaii? Wearing such dark and heavy clothes for a long duration of time in weather like this could result in heat stroke if you aren't careful. I don't want to be the one responsible if you pass out of get sick over what you decided to wear," Chise told him, puffing her cheeks out in a pout. She didn't like this man's tone of voice nor did she appreciate his bossy like attitude. She should have never bothered with him in the first place. She was supposed to like everyone but this man was giving her a hard time. Chise looked at him and sighed, "Why do you feel the need to protect everyone? That's the lifeguards' duty when you are at the beach. You should worry about yourself and let the professionals do their work. And who cares if I came to the beach by myself, I think it is fine I came by myself. That just means I won't be forced to take my coverup off and do something I wish not to do." Chise took in a big breath of air after talking for what seemed like a minute straight. She reached down and took her water out of her bag before taking a sip. She put her water back and grabbed another water out of the cooler in her bag and handed it to the other. "At least take this so you don't dehydrate," Chise said offering her spare water to the other.

It was funny how she almost guessed his Quirk. He was impressed "Ohohoho! Close but no cigar!" then he crossed his hands and proudly explained his Quirk "I cant make animals out of light or whatever. But I can summon my Spirit Animal. A Spirit Animal is a spirit which helps guide or protect a person on a journey and it shares and embodies that persons characteristics. My boy Goliath is a scary looking isopod. As an isopod, a crustacean he should shine in the sea nd be a better fighter and be a good recue buddy for people. I didnt think there were this many people today. So sadly I cant summon him"
To be honest, when it comes to native american folklore about spirit animals or shamanism or animism, G wasnt much of a pro. He did look up a bit about spirit animals in a few books. But he wasnt sure if he remembered correctly. He was fairly certain he remembered 90% of that stuff. But still wasnt sure if his lil definition was fully correct.
Next part she explained how she was 'trying to help', but was still on his case when it came to the clothes he wore. The way she puffed her cheeks just made G burst out laughing. So he gave her a pat on the head just for making him smile "Oh God, kid. You're friggin adorable. A bit annoying, but still adorable"
Next she asked him why did he feel the need to protect everyone. Geez and sheesh. She really wasnt getting it. He had to spell it out to her, as much as he hated it. After she finished talking and gave him a water bottle, he took it and explained "Thanks kiddo. But I dont think you understand what I am. A life guard can save a person from drowning and just drowning. But Im a different type of life guard. I guard lives here on land. Im a Vigilante, kid. When you say that Im 'not proffessional' when it comes to dealing with Villains. I gotta call BS on that, cuz I am very very experienced with fighting Villains. I really didnt wanna tell you this because I was nervous you were gonna call cops on me. Not everyone approves of what I do. But the fact is kiddo. The goverment issued heroes are too few and far between. They cant be everywhere, so I, as a good samaritan is helping everyone and keeping them safe. Also that way I even keep a Hero safe by helping them out protect an area they arent at. Its better that I deal with Villains as I am already ... nevermind. You're too young for that." He didnt wanna finish that thought. He wanted to say that its better that he fights Villains because he is already tainted. He already became a monster. It was better for him to deal with a Villain,a monster. Then let a Hero be tainted by a Villain. This was not something for a small high school child.

Even though Chise was still suspicious of this man, some things he had to say were interesting. "A spirit animal you say? Is it like a physical entity? Can you touch it or is it made out of some non-physical material? Isopods are pretty cute though, most people are afraid to even see them because they look scary and disgusting looking. Maybe if it were less crowded you could call it here. How did you even get this...Goliath as a spirit animal in the first place?" Chise asked, wanting to find out more about this guy's quirk in case it could come in handy later.
"I suppose I can share my quirk since you shared yours with me. My quirk allows me to copy any person's voice but the downside of that is I can only copy their voice through means of lip contact. It's...rather embarrassing so I don't use my quirk that often," Chise explained feeling her cheeks heat up slightly out of embarrassment. What Chise didn't expect was for the other to pat her head like a master would praising his dog. "H-Hey! Don't touch my head....I'm n-not a dog." Chise stuttered, puffing her cheeks out even more, angry that the other would do something like that to her.
"I had a small guess that you might be a vigilante but then again I also thought you just might be a crazy, overprotective citizen," Chise said with a small chuckle, quite amused at how silly her thought was when she said it out loud. "I can understand that though. We still may be strangers to one another, but it seems like we have a common goal in mind after all. I don't about your past but I feel as if I can look past whatever it might be. Perhaps you're not so bad after all," Chise said looking up at the man with a smile. "My name is Chise...sorry we got off on the wrong foot," the redhead said, holding out her hand for the other to shake.
