all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Maybe she was a little spoiled, a little whiny, a little everything. She did not want to ruin anything after all and it was a dashing night when you considered they were married for a month now and they were together for a year, they had the cutest son, the cutest and strangest family but she loved each and everyone in that one and right now she had found a baby sitter to take care of little Kai as they would go out for dinner for their anniversary. But Hanako couldn't eat. It wasn't really fair, he reserved it, he thought about it and she was playing with her entree because she wanted to be home with Kai. Every time she picked up her fork a little better to try and take a bite of the salad, she looked at her wedding ring and convinced herself to do better and to enjoy it and to bring up a conversation but Kai was alone with a baby sitter and she loved the romantic gesture but it wasn't enough, no that was the wrong word, She twirled the fork in her hand and wondered what she could say to Gil. She had dressed up for tonight, she had really every intention to make it great, to be full and lovey-dovey and now she was ruining it. This would not be the first time and she held her heart because for the repeating time, she wished it was the last time, but something would come, she would ruin another night. Maybe they should not have gone out, yet she had anticipated for this day for ages. Her hair brushed for a hundred times and put up in a high ponytail so that a waterfall of silky black hair would fall just past her shoulders. She had picked out a new dress for it, it was light pink and had an off shoulder style and just reached below her knees, she had found matching shoes in her collection with a small heel as she had barely been wearing them. She had fixed her make-up but lightly, she wanted everything to be perfect and look at her, eating as if there was something dirty in it and still barely have said a word, for quite a while now since they arrived and since they picked their three courses, she was having difficulty with words. She could not keep on going on a repeat session that she loved him, she should have at least something intelligent to say, but she wanted to go home. It would be a twenty to thirty minute walk from this restaurant to their home, the quality of the food was good, she had read so many great reviews about it and G had remembered she wanted to go here and look at her now... |

It was their one month anniversary and G thought that they should celebrate it. With great difficulty he managed to make a reservation for this restaurant. The two arrived there no problem, got their table, they sat down and made their order. But when the food came, Hana seemed absent. Aw man, time to fix that right now
"Hey there" he said softly to get her attention and then reached out to her, to place his hand under her chin and gently lift her head to look at him. Then he placed his hand on her cheek, and rubbed her cheek with his thumb. "Look at you there staring at that plate. Should I be jelaous that the salad is stealing your gaze?" he said jokingly
"But jokes aside. I cant believe how far we come. Look at you. Before you didnt want a baby and now, you and Kai and inseperable. And now a month flew by so fast, and yet I still didnt get to tell you my full wedding vow. I hope you wouldnt mind hearing it, my love~" G said, hoping to cheer her up
He couldnt believe how they both changed, before Hana didnt want a baby, but now she loves Kai so much, and that just warms his heart. Of course he's gonna be the typical dad who takes photos and such, he wants to preserve those treasured moments forever more. He cant imagine what will it be like when Kai takes his first steps or says his word word. He'll just melt.

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Her eyes did not see, they simply stared, a green mess in front of her eyes as her entre was a simple salad, they had something fancy, she should enjoy it and it was hard to say if she did not enjoy it, but it was also very difficult to say if she did enjoy it at all or what was on her mind. The fork twitching in her hand as she kept on turning and turning it and well there seemed to be no ending to it, she turned her eyes only up when she heard a soft hey there and she blushed, oh god, she had not done anything. But before she could actually look away, out of embarrassment at this point, she felt his hand on her chin, lifting up her head so she did not have to look up but just look straight at him. She leaned into his hand and put her own one against his as she wanted to hold him.
God she wanted to be romantic and fun and everything but she just wanted to go home. She did giggle a little and softly when he mentioned a question if he should be jealous of her salad. "No, it's not that satisfying as you." She said, a little teasing, a little funny. She looked away shortly by closing her eyes but smiling, yes, she listened, she loved what he said. She missed Kai, was that stupid. She opened her eyes and looked surprised at Gil, "Your full wedding vow?" What did he mean, "I mean I don't have any more so if you don't mind to have an empty piece on my side." Was that bad? It should be bad, she had not thought about it, yet they eloped and she managed to do fine but now, oh god she wasn't sure how that went. But she nodded, she did also have to admit that she was rather curious. The smile stayed on her lips, she was mesmerized by this man forever. |

G didnt wanna sit across her, so he scooted over and pulled his chair over to sit beside her. "Its alright, love. You dont need to do anything. This is me wanting to do something for you"
And thus he started "I promise to respect, admire and appreciate you for who you are, as well as for the person you wish to become." he said as he gently held her hand "I promise to support and protect your freedom, because although our lives are intertwined, your choices are still yours alone." he said as he gently lifted up her hand "I promise to seek a deep understanding of your wishes, your desires, your fears, and your dreams." he said as he reached into his pocket "I promise to always strive to meet your needs, not out of obligation, but because it delights me to see you happy." he said as he pulled out a traditional wedding ring that he held onto "I promise to be there for you when you need me, whenever you need me." he said as he placed the ring on her ring finger... the one that was free and not occupied "I promise to nurture your goals and ambitions; to support you through misfortune, and to celebrate your triumphs." he said and lovingly looked into her eyes "I promise to keep our lives exciting, adventurous, and full of passion." he said and gently kissed her on the kiss as he continued "I promise to persevere when times get tough, knowing that any challenges we might face, we will conquer them together." he said and cupped her cheek "I promise to treat you with compassion rather than fairness, because we are a team, now and for always." he said as he rubbed her cheek with his thumb "I promise to show you, every day, that I know exactly how lucky I am to have you in my life." and then he finished with off with "And I love you Hanako Hajimari. My beautiful wife" he said and then finally kissed her on the lips

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ He really sparked her interest as he mentioned something about their vows and she was so surprised and yet curious, but she had nothing in return, she could speak, surely she could but it wasn't the same, she had not thought about it. Yes in the end she had been very happy about her own vows as well but it was yes, well it could have been done a tinsy tiny bit better. She watched him scoot closer to her and like she had many moments before, she felt like a teen, happy in love as she looked at him, with a smile now on her face. She had put the fork down, who needed a salad in her life when she had him. She bit her lip softly to hide her grin and she looked at him, full expectations and enthusiasm, it was very difficult to contain herself as he started and took her hand. She nodded shortly after he said the first sentence, yes, he said that before, not that she minded to hear it again because it was music to her ears in every sense of the word. She loved the words he picked, carefully, caring, lovely and loving, it were the best words that she had ever heard in her life and wanted to continue to hear. She frowned shortly, her smile not disappearing but a questioned look appeared in her eyes as he held up her hand and she watched him move, she could not see very well what he was doing so her blue eyes turned back to his eyes to wonder what was going on but she got surely the words he said and she nodded at it again, yes, she loved that the most about him and it reminded her shortly of what he had said a week ago when she followed him to Shinagawa. She blushed heavily when he said that he did it out of the delight of seeing her happy, it was so cute and now she noticed the traditional wedding ring that he held out and her eyes turned big and she looked from the ring at Gil and back at the ring, what...? She shortly stared at the ring before looking back at Gil, oh he was amazing. The kiss shortly surprised her and made her happy and she smiled happily again, she leaned into his hand as he cupped her cheek and shortly closed her eyes to enjoy the moment and listen to his words, yes, they would conquer everything together. She opened her eyes as she listened and she blushed again, yes, forever. The blush only intensified with his next word and calling her his beautiful wife and the name she would want to wear for the rest of her days, she pressed her own lips against his when she noticed he was kissing him and hold on to him. Who had known how romantic G could be, actually, she had known since forever. She did not want to break the issues of the Japanese culture, but for once in her life she could not care about it. |

After that passionate kiss, he slowly broke it and just looked in her eyes. He could get lost in them, but alas now was not the time. Instead he asked "What do you wanna do, dear? I have to say I'm kinda new at anniversaries. I dunno what I have to do at them"
This was his first ever anniversary, he had no clue what to do. This what he did was mostly unfinished business when it came to the wedding. He wanted to do it before but lacked the time. But now that he did it, he was a blank slate.
Well, actually an idea hatched. He took Hana's fork that she was using when she played with her salad. He took some of the salad and then teased her "Say ah" he said as he offered to feed her. That was most what he could come up with on such short notice. G figured it was better then doing nothing.
"I feel like I used my best cards and now Im like on a writers block or something. Please like this Hana because I dunno what to do" G thought to himself as he was holding the fork

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Hm, couldn't she have more of those kisses for the evening. Not as they stayed here and seriously for a second Hanako regretted it. The fact that G thought about their anniversary, that he managed to get a reservation at this restaurant, it was all so sweet and nice and satisfying but she wanted to be home. Cuddling on the couch with just them and their little one at home because she hated that they were not home that there was no Kai and yet she loved being here, she definitely needed to make up her mind for heaven's sake. "You don't have to do anything special, my darling." She said surprised when he said he did not do know what he had to do, but he had not to do anything, it was just them, "It's just an extra special day where we can try out something new." But how would she tell him carefully without breaking his effort that she did not like it. She loved their nights at home where it did not feel like they had to be special, where she could love him uncoditionally without having to hide it from anyone within the same room. She was actually surprised that he was new to anniversaries, she would have sworn that he was longer together with Meiko considering how she sold the whole deal to her, but Hanako did not want to think about her and thus shook her head very lightly, almost invisible before turning to look what G was doing, taking her fork, putting some salad on it and she snickered a little and opened her mouth, with the soft ah sound that he asked for. She kissed him on the cheek when she was done munching her salad, "So, let's be honest, do you like being here, what do you think of this anniversary dinner?" She said she wasn't sure but she had the feeling from before that menus sort of freaked him out. And how more complicated the dish how quicker Gil disliked it, she could maybe make a suggestion if that was true and she was very curious to hear, obviously they could not live on entrees of a course but she would have ideas, she would have food at home, should they pay for this only? It actually made her giggle when she thought about it, finally getting a reservation at a restaurant so popular and always busy and they would walk out. |

"I dont know if I like or hate it, since its my first time experience. But I figured it'd be a test to see how our one year anniversery would go or our honeymoon." G said as he didnt know how these fancy dinners are supposed to go. He has a true neutral opnion, not to mention he doesnt care about his opinion, all he cares about is Hanako.
But, how to please her more? Hana probably wanted Kai, he cant blame her. He's an angel. Maybe when they get home they'll spoil the boy together and they'll pamper him. But still, they do that always. He wanted to do something special. Maybe after the dinner he can take her on a walk. Well if the dinner ends too soon. He just wants to be with her and do something that will make them remember today
He then asked Hana "How about you, dear? What do you think about this dinner? Do you like it" he hoped she did. If only he could make her swoon more, maybe some romantic music? But he wasnt sure if that was possible. He just really wanted to do this right, for his Hana

She blushed a little and sat still for a while as she could not really comprehend what he just said, their honeymoon. Of course they got married but they never really spoke about a honeymoon, of course it was because they would only get married next year and so it was not on their list and oh she had appointments to cancel, "What is it that you want to go? And what is it that you think we should do? Should we continue to make that beach wedding a thing? For our friends?" She had to ask, she had to see what he wanted and she wanted right now to get away from him, to be close, but she could not do that in public. She simply sat there and looked at him, "We will have lots of anniversaries, we will have this better Halloween, we will have this great Christmas. Anything, you will get used to it." Anything, anything really, they would be together, they would have more ki... what... not now. She simply blushed.
Hanako did not know what to say, she accepted that G fed her and pulled his plate to her so she could do the same for him with his first starter of their course and she smiled at him, "It is not the dinner itself that I do not like, it's just, I don't know I feel like this is not us, you know?" Did that make any sense, the whole fancy dinner, they did enough fancy stuff, god she remembered that last year she still lived in her penthouse, that they now rented to others to keep a steady income, it was a confusing idea. "I just want to be wherever you are, whenever. I-I don't mind this, I just prefer being home maybe." She wasn't even sure if that was the case. |

G skipped Hana's first question because he didnt know the answer for that yet, but he did answer her 2nd one "I do want a beach wedding. For our friends and for you. I feel like you deserve a glorious wedding" he said
Hana assured G that they wil have lots of anniverseries, that made him smile. And having a better halloween and christmas was great too. "Now I have a chance to have a better Halloween with you. Time to make amends" he said while enjoying her blush. His wife was incredible. Yeah now he wishes he was home.
He fed her and they spent time together, he then heard Hana say that she doesnt mind this. The next part she said puzzled him. So he asked "Hana where do you wanna be? What do you wanna do now? Do you want us to go home?"
Well, if that was the case so be it. Maybe they could just have a romantic make out session. He could do something to make their room more romantic. Though it all depended what Hana wanted. Then again where things are now, it seemed that both prefered staying home. He hoped they could spend 'quality time' together without Kai calling them

She had ask him multiple questions in one go so it only made sense that he could not answer them all in one go, so she simply focused on the answer that he gave, which made her grin, hm. Already married and yet speaking about a beach wedding. "For me?" She said surprised but than he said that she deserved a glorious wedding and she blushed and smiled rather happily, "I can't wait to find a wedding dress." But not right now, she would manage to survive without, "But I am already so happy that we are married, I couldn't wait any longer." She laughed a little, it was maybe silly, at first she never thought about it but it just felt right to do so. And it had fitted so perfect, there was no more perfect moment than that one. Although it had broken apart their perfect home alone time but that was definitely fine. She smiled more, she did not want to think about the fight from last year, but their world was surely upside down compared to that day and that was in a good way, "We could organize our own party? We could invite some friends?" She suggested, she had seen a few of their metropolitan colleagues only a long time ago, it sounded like a great moment to do so, but that bitch would obviously be not invited. "I have the perfect outfit idea already, I only need to pick it up." She smirked, not thinking directly if they would dress up matching, that would be really cute, in general, their last match was kind of fitting with police and a nurse but she wasn't sure if he would wear that again. She ate while he fed her in a way and she tried the same with a few bites of his entree for the three coursed menu, hm she was in love with him for sure. Everything was just so strange and wonderful at the same time, she wanted to kiss him but they were in public so that was not possible and she looked up surprised by his question. She blushed again, this time more because she was embarrassed, "I mean ehm." Yes, she had said this didn't fit them, "I love being home with you more. This feels so forced and I don't dare to say all out loud or show my love for you out loud and that's silly, it's our anniversary. Is it silly to want to go home?" She asked him and she looked through her eyelashes at him, as she felt a little embarrassed by even the suggestion. At least he already sat next to her, it was better than opposite the table and so separate, yes, she wanted to go home, be in his arms the whole time. |

Hana was seemingly surprised G wanted a glorious wedding for her. Hana said she was happy as long as she was married to him. G during that just held her hand because he wanted physical contact with her. Hana even said that they could organize their party, invite friends and all that fun stuff. G just smiled and nodded
"I love it" G said, sure he had no idea what was her outfit idea, but G could not resist loving Hana
G then fed Hana the restaurant food, and she returned the favour and did the same. Heh yeah, as soon as they eat, they will just march on home. And if G has his way, the bedroom would be their goal.
The two hen talked a bit more, and in regards what Hana said, G thought for a moment before replying "No, its not silly. I mean now I am just so in love with you. I just wanna smother you with my love. And I wanna take you not home, but to the bedroom." he looked at the food "I didnt think this felt forced. I wanted to try and do something special, hoping to be more like normal people." then he looked back at Hana "I didnt want you to think that I just wanna.... you know"

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She was glad that he loved the idea, because Hanako wanted nothing more but for their worlds to collide. Yes she had changed within this year, motherhood would do that to you as well as the man sitting next to her and holding her hand. She had never expected her world to change like that but for now she wanted nothing more. "And I love you, I am so glad you found me." Because that is how she saw it, Gil was her hero, he found her, he rescued her again and again and that is how she always assumed their life would be. He would find her and he would be able to rescue her and that was something to admire, to hold on to and to love, she was happy to be with him even if she did not really like the restaurant at this point but G tried to pull her through it which was certainly a very interesting way of trying.
She felt silly so when he said it was not a small piece of that feeling instantly disappeared. It did not want to be there, it did no longer have to be there and that was a good thing. She blushed very much when G talked to her and especially what he said, because that was her whole point she did not dare to be so open about her feelings even if no one seemed to be eavesdropping or even paying them attention but the fact that he said bedroom made her so red that it wasn't hard to imagine steam coming from the top of her head. She looked at him with worried look in her eyes because of his last few words and her mouth opened because of the overwhelming sense, "Oh, oh no I never thought that. I would not mind this place I would not but I don't know, you changed me in wanting to be at home, just together no shame or embarrassed feelings for the outside world as that is how society made me here. I don't want us to be like everyone else because if I wanted that I would not have dated you, got your child and spontaneously married you on a random day. I don't think you would only just that, I do not anymore." It was best to be honest right and to just say it like this, "But would you mind if we left after this entree?" |

When Hana finished talking, G just looked at her. He was silent and did not say a word. Until suddenly he got up and picked her up. He held her bridal style and left the restaurant. He decided to take her home. It was clear both of them wanted it. And her words have finally convinced him
~Later~
Once they arrived, G gently let down Hana and closed the door behind them, and right away he started kissing her. He couldnt resist but show her affection. At this point he couldnt remember if they had a babysitter or one of their daughters watching over Kai, and truthfully, he didnt care
When he finished smooching Hana, G asked "Anything you wanna do now?", he just wanted to please his waifu. G had some needs of his own, but Hana was the priority, and who knows maybe they want the same thing. Well whatever. G just wanted to please his Queen. And if a babysitter or a daughter saw them making out, well too bad because G didnt care. They were home and they were allowed to do whatever they want, where ever they want and when ever they want or even... nah

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Before she knew it he lifted her up already and she managed to pay, clearly from his wallet though and she almost rolled her eyes because of that and she blushed, she had wanted to utter some words about not here, not in public but she did not manage. They would have to walk home because it would be simply a shame to take a taxi for a twenty-minute refreshing walk. She managed after a good solid five minutes to convince G to put her back on the ground. As if that was the cue for rain and she was so confused because it had seemed that even though it was dark, the night was clear, she swore she had seen stars and she would first freak out, it was really cold but after that, it was actually kind of funny and she laughed as she held Gil's hand, sort of trying to run to their house, for a clumsy human being that was difficult. Of course he picked her up, but she did not make it easy so instead he had to hold her upright, almost slung over his shoulder, something about making sure she would not fall but she managed to make her way up and hug him while doing so, it was a lot better than the restaurant, she would regret it maybe in an hour or so considering food but she would be fine. Being carried like this even in the rain made them arrive home sooner than if she would have just walked but that did not save them from being drenched and even when he opened the door she quickly closed it before being able to enter. "Kiss me?" She asked instead of demanding, which was a lot more pleasant even from her own perspective and she was glad he already did so, surely the wind and the rain made it cold even if their front door had a porch so they would not be in the middle of the rain now, but to be honest, she found this far more romantic than that moment before in the restaurant. She giggled in the kiss, pulled him closer for warmth and simply comfort. When G stopped kissing she looked up at him and she shook her head, she had no ideas but maybe simply a logical one. Without thinking too much about what words to say and what not to say she simply said:"get out of these wet clothes."Seriously she did not want to get a cold. |
