Suwa basically would remain a little on the side and looked at the four students that seemed to focus on what they could do, he liked how Kazu thought a little more into the future, at least this time he would not get lost in overenthusiasm, good start. He nodded firmly when Krahno backed up the idea, a combination of the two would be a start but it would be very tiring considering the size of the river, they would have the middle platform but that meant that they either had to work two parts of the bridges already before moving to the middle part and how would they move that and he had to be say that he was rather proud of Rosana for speaking up.
She made a good idea even better by her suggestion and finally Suwa's attention turned to Jack and he frowned a little worried as the boy used to change into the smaller version and not that it was bad as it was also trying to prove a point but Jack might need to learn to not use too much of his stamina yet, the hike would be tricky the further they got up and he could take, surprisingly, an example of Kazu pointing out that stamina needed to be saved for the other obstacles and that did not even include the hike itself, but surely this would be fine. Suwa crossed his hooves in front of his chest and simply continued to look, he would only stop them in case it was really ridiculous what they suggested but it did not seem to go that way and that made him rather satisfied. Maybe he should worry about his own, how to get across a bridge if they would use ice to keep the metal beams well working because that would be a whole new form of slippery slope, eh, he might just jump.

Kaz nods at the several suggestions Kranno and Rosana made, while silently staring at the sudden transformation that Jack did in front of them. If he went really big like that one time in transformation practice, perhaps they could have used him as a bridge. Problem being that would hurt Jack way too much, considering the last time he did that in front of him and Aeris and Tetsuko. All of their ideas have formed together to make what is potentially the solution to their particular dilemma. Here he was, thinking of just making a large slate of metal, but this makes far more sense! He was worried about the structure and composition of the bridge, but this is far better. He just has to make sure that at each 'end' of the rods, they're hooked to the ground so they dont fall apart. This means that Kranno once he freezes it, Rosana, Somehow Jack, and Suwa have to cross by first so he can keep it stable. Once that's done...once that's done...hmm. If he separates the beams, he'll just waste even more stamina like that one time. He'll worry about that when the time comes.
"Very well! Allow me to make the first step in this bridge. Two beams, right?" He places his hands together and stretches them out, palm facing forward as he walks towards the broken structure. He knees as he gets some Metal ooze leaking out of his right palm. Placing his right hand over the ground (huh, kinda chilly. hehe.), the Metal slime slowly composes itself in the form of two lines stretching across the gap, soon hooking itself over stable looking ground. It then starts to solidify, becoming two beams over the cold river. "Alright then. I'll go last since it's more stable and stronger to maintain if I remain connected to it. Kanno, once you freeze it, you can go ahead of me. The others can as well." he says turning his head at them.

The girl's words were abrupt but clear enough to understand. So they wouldn't have to try and make a huge bridge out of their metal and ice but instead of the large bridge he had expect to help make it was going to be two large steel beams that Kazu would create then on his end freeze the metal so it solidified. It all sounded like a brilliant plan to be set in motion really as Krahno then observed Kazu start to form his end of the make-shift bridge around the ruins of the broken one.
The metal ooze starting to leak out of his hand which would soon composite into two large metal beams that formed their path to the other side. Krahno overheard his name being misspoken by Kazu. Not that he entirely minded that given the situation but he thought it would be good to correct him just once in case he would say it again.
"Right my turn then. Oh and it's Krahno by the way." Moving over to the side of Kazu he knelt down to the ground and took off one of his purple gloves before a medica like liquid poured out from his left hand which was usually reserved for patients at a doctor's office but this time he was using to make a bridge.
The liquid covered the steel beams and eventually covered them with the medical fluid before shortly turning into ice that would then solidify the beams into a harder much more durable steel. "Okay that should do it. Good plan there team, lets get a move on then." Krahno would be the first to try out their own handiwork as he looked over to the others with a slight grin. "Lets hope we did this correctly." he would say before moving to cross the bridge.

"Fingers crossed."
Rosana didn't really do much or need to do much as she watched the two boys get to work at making the bridge. Everyone seemed to be in unanimous agreement on her plan, which was nice because it meant she actually did something right for once. Though there was that small inkling of fear in the back of her mind that she gave them the wrong plan and that it would fail, and if it failed they would all blame her. This thought made her incredibly cautious as she stood up at the edge of the makeshift bridge and shot a nervous glance to Kaz. When her brother was nervous, he'd crack jokes, maybe she should as well?
"On the bright side, if I fall at least someone will hear me." A weak stab at a joke about trees in a forest and... nobody probably got it. Anyways, Rosana started to cross the bridge slowly in the awkward silence that she aided in creating, taking one step at a time, one foot in front of the other. "Actually, it's not that bad once you-" She spoke to soon, her front foot slipping on the cold metal beam. Luckily, she was able to correct her footing before she lost balance.
It only took roughly a minute after that point for her to cross the rest of the bridge, a sigh of relief escaping her lips as she reaches solid ground again.

Jack promptly stared right back at Kaz as the boy stared at his much smaller form. "What? Never seen a tiny dragon before?" he asked jokingly, smirking a small bit. "Never watched Xilong before? I'm pretty sure that had a small red dragon in it." He knew his smaller transformation was an odd one, but it was energy efficient-ish and was nice to just lounge around in. It kind of just popped out of nowhere for him, but he wasn't about to complain about it, since he can use it almost freely back at U.A.
He did pout a little bit, however, as the other students didn't seem to acknowledge him nor the sudden form he took. What, did they think he was just an annoyance or something? Yeesh. It annoyed him greatly that he was ignored by his teammates, but he said nothing as he reverted back to his regular form as they talked about the bridge plan once more. He simply grunted as they agreed that's what they would do, and stood back as they went to work.
"Didn't even need my help..." he grumbled to himself, once again feeling a bit useless in the situation. It wasn't like there was much he could have done other than what he suggested, but with the added absense of attention from the others, it stung a bit more than it probably should have for the dragon boy. Whether he liked it or not, which he very much didn't, he craved the attention of his peers. He loved at least getting either shocked or amazed or even just happy acknowledgement of what he felt should be notable actions. He said nothing still, but he didn't look happy by any means.
He then promptly shrugged as he began to cross the bridge. He was wary not to transform to get across easier; whatever laid in store for them past this most likely required the majority of Jack's energy. While the smaller transformation did take a small bit of effort, it wasn't much compared to even his partial transformations, much less his full one. As such, he clearly struggled as he slipped across the bridge. He also promptly fell on his face, his tail draped over his head.
Nonetheless, he promptly got back up without much of a word and struggled the rest of the way across. He then waited to see if either Kaz or the teacher needed help across. He was still quiet like before, but there was a definite sour tone to the silence. It is what it is, though, so Jack decided not to dwell on it any further, switching back to his more neutral silence.

I wrote that the bridge crossing had three parts, the start, the middle, the end, it seemed to be missed by more than one, the middle part is now a small island so Rosana's solid ground is okay-ish
Suwa wasn't convinced yet for himself to cross the bridge, but he would not point that one out, it was good that the students thought about a solution with the group but they had to think a little bit better about how it would work, Rosana herself slipped and Jack did as well and that was how he would talk in a bit, he first had to get to the middle part himself. His hooves made it a slippery slope on the ice that Krahno had created, yes, this wasn't working out and he was considering how he would go on, he refused to sit down and pull himself further, he wasn't even sure if he would be able to reach that. He looked with difficulty how he would cross, he could jump quite a distance but he would still have to land one time at the bridge and he could slip and slide at that point and that would defeat the purpose. So he was going to remain standing at the opposite of the students if they all crossed already. Yes, his intention was to tell them that they had to keep all factors in mind, when they were in a rescue situation, they had to make sure everyone was able to go along with the plan, in his case, his hooves on the ice would be an issue. "Can anyone carry me?" He did not like it but for now he would have to point it out anyway, in case someone did, he would ask to be dropped on the little island, not big enough to create a second part of the bridge and the second part to continue on the path to the mountain seemed to be a longer distance, they might not be able to create a stable bridge as they did for the first part. "Good job everyone, but it's very important to look at all factors, I am still impressed with your work but in situations like this where there is no immediate threat it is good to think a little longer if you looked at all the angles and that everyone can keep up with you. Does anyone need a little break or should we figure out to go to the main land again?" He looked from one at the other, he was indeed impressed with their team work, his eyes shortly at Jack because he seemed to not be happy about the situation but there was a sort of rematch. He would sit aside again and watch and listen. He would only stop them when necessary.

"...Ah." Seems like even their teacher requires some help. Is it due to the nature of the hoofs being flatter than most of their shoes, thereby making the terrain created by the ice more difficult to cross through. "...Hmm. Uh, Suwa sensei, would you mind getting on my back? I'm gonna cross the bridge now." Staying crouched as he gets on his back, He slowly gets up while his palm remains connected to the stream of metal. It now serves as a sort of flexible leash, to preserve his energy. If he just disconnected it, it would take a serious blow to his stamina. If he starts to reabsorb it, the ice alone might break from their weight together. So they're gonna have to go at this slowly...and surely...One small step at a time.
It wasn't that narrow to walk on. Ironically, having a teacher on your back is good motivation to not fall down or slip. Otherwise, OH BOY, IMAGINE BEING THE PERSON TO SLIP WITH THE TEACHER, GOING DOWN THE RIVER. THAT WOULD ACTUALLY BE EMBARRASSING. He just did it more carefully...and slowly...actually he kinda did it a bit too slow as he took his sweet time to place each foot in front of the other. Listen, hes carrying his teacher on his back, holding up him by awkwardly grabbing his hooves behind his back as he grabs onto his shoulders, while one of his hands has a currently elongating leash of metal trailing behind them. It's a hard job to keep up, alright? Good thing he had some training in keeping his metal consistency up...but still man...still.
Finally, FINALLY, they have reached solid ground....half way through. That...that could have been better. If he made the rods a bit more longer perhaps he could have walked the whole way...but at the same time, gah imagine how difficult it would be. Plus, this small island of sorts is getting slightly crowded. Gently letting Suwa down, he gets started on reabsorbing back the metal, breaking any remaining ice "Gah...bit more longer than intended...was thinking of perhaps doing sort of like...remove these structures and re do it...but that distance is a bit of a problem. I can do like...about 17-18ish meters, but it'll be less stable, so you'll be standing on what is basically goo. Like...so far the only thing I can think of is stretching it thinner as the 'frame' and cover it mainly with ice...but will that work? I dunno, what do you guys suppose? It's not like there's anyone here to carry us like a ferry." he says, staring towards the direction of a certain Jack Orion but not directly at him. Maybe his strength can help out? What's Rosanna's Quirk? Can she help out with this? This is harder than he thought it would be...

Crossing the ravine was certainly a bit of a chore but that was okay since he worked together to help make a temporary bridge which they all used to get halfway there and onto a small island in the middle of it. As he crossed he would take notice of Suwa sensei being carried by Kazu. Watching the boy struggle with him crossing the bridge was rather humorous to watch at first but as he got there Krahno smirked a little at that. "So what next? Do we just try to create another temporary bridge? I might need a little more time though if I want to make a decent bridge again."
A ferry? Now there was an idea! Too bad he knew he couldn't exactly make one that would fit them all let alone keep together with how his quirk worked. He still needed to train it of course to make it get stronger and more durable. "Sorry no can do. I could try to make a ferry out of ice but it would probably break under the pressure of everyone being on it. Miss do you have any ideas?" Krahno would look over to Rosana as he did not know her name yet.
Krahno then looked over to the dragon boy. "Is it possible you can turn into a bigger form of that dragon thing and swim us across?" he would suggest but not really understand how the boy's quirk worked either. Krahno was paying attention to the boy before but did not need to at first as they were busy creating the bridge together. If he could do turn into a bigger dragon maybe that would be the best course of action but what would they do if they could not do it? Only time would tell.

Jack watched more or less patiently as Kazu and their teacher crossed the bridge with not much grace. He pursed his lips and kept quiet, but even then there wasn't anything he could do to help. He looked across the rest of the river with an annoyed look, realizing that they had only made it halfway across. He ran a hand through his hair, trying to think. That bridge probably took a fair toll on both Krahno and Kaz...so that meant that there wouldn't be a do-over of that anytime soon.
Even worse, the small piece of land that they had reached was quickly getting crowded with the 5 of them on there. So now it was a matter of getting to the other side as quickly as possible. The teacher then explained how it was better to look at the whole picture rather than the immediate solution, giving Jack a slight glance, probably seeing his annoyance from earlier. Jack's face flushed, but he said nothing.
They discussed their options a bit further, both Kaz and Krahno stating that both of their Quirks would likely fail here, due to distance and pressure, etcetera. They then both look in the direction of Jack, making that dragon boy's face flush further. It was Krahno that mentioned the idea of using Jack as a raft, making his tail flick from left to right as he glanced at the freezing water before them. It was by no means the best situation, considering all options led to Jack having to get in the water in some way shape or fashion. "...W-we have blankets and stuff for hypothermia, right?" he asked nervously, looking at the teacher, biting his lip a little. He could maintain his body heat well enough, but direct contact with freezing waters was a lot, even for him. He didn't want to be out of the game before it even started, but...
"...Yeah, gimme a second..." he said, taking a deep breath. He jumped up and down for a second, knowing that he'd have to jump off the island to transform, lest he knocks everyone off. He got into a starting position, before running towards the edge and jumping. Not wanting to make a fool of himself, he'd tried to be graceful about it, flapping his wings a few times to give him extra air, before he began to transform. Within a matter of about 3 seconds, what was once a small boy was now a dragon the size of a school bus, his scales reflecting any light off of them like metal.
He landed in the most shallow part of the water as he could, shivering a lot the moment his paws hit the water. "OK, THAT'S REALLLLY COLD. ACH!" he exclaimed, his voice a lot deeper than it was before, so it sounded a bit ridiculous coming from him. Nonetheless, he promptly knelt down, looking at everyone to get on. "Alright, lady and gentlemen, all aboard the dragon bus, single-file line, etcetera!" he said, trying to be a bit humorous despite the fact he was suffering a little bit.
Once everyone was safely on, Jack would take a deep breath, looking for the nearest strip of land he could land on. "Thank you for flying with Orion Airlines today. Next stop is hopefully across the rest of this river, and we may experience minor turbulence for the next minute or so. That said, keep your hands and feet on the dragon at all times, and AWAAYYYYY WE GO!" With that he promptly took off, his wings extended as he attempted to get to the nearest strip of land he could, if not just the other side of the river altogether. He would try to keep steady, but his shivering probably didn't help too much. Then again, when has flying a dragon ever been a steady thing to do?

With the low hanging cluster of branches, Suwa wasn't entirely sure about the moving of the dragon up and flying but he at first did not say anything, he managed to walk from the tail up to the back of the dragon and would hold on to whatever way he could find, that included the issue with his hooves and so on. Now that he got to that point he would simply wait and sit for as far as that worked, he did not like the clapping off the winds, "It's best to stay low Orion-kun and maybe walk through the water, with those branches and your wings, you can't fly." It would bring them up to the top at a rather top speed and they would have to find a solution of things anyway. Now that they reached the other side, he was glad to see they made it and he got the blanket from his backpack, "We should create a fire, anyone able to do that?" He himself was, but they would have to find wood, he ushered them to go do so while he focused on getting Jack out of his wet jacket and putting the blanket around him, well a fire quirk would be useful now but it did not work that way unfortunately, this was their next task for sure. He tried to dry the boy off a little before turning the blanket the other side, he pushed Jack to sit behind a tree to avoid the wind and now got a few decent twigs to start the fire, but he needed a few more to keep it going.
"I think it's highly lunch time." He said when everything was settled, the boys could use some food for using their quirk and against the cold, well it was a good moment to do that for.

It seems Jack has decided to take up the burden of transferring them between the gap. Somewhat of a hassle to do: After all, he's gonna expose his tranformed state into ice cold water. That is not only risky, but dangerous as well. Think about it: What if one of them falls off? What if a certain fool decides to slightly lean to the right, and fall off and land in the current to be swept away and nearly killed? It's very possible, but at the same time it's also possible that he might live through it. He's not gonna try it though: There are far better methods to test one's resistance to the cold. This isn't one of them. "Look, If push comes to shove, I'll hand you one of my jackets I'm wearing, alright?" he seems somewhat annoyed but still, it's polite to give people aid when they are about to do something risky.
The group slowly getting on his back after the somewhat quick but flashy transformation, them carefully getting on as Jack attempts to play it off as something casual like, and...Huh. Hey it actually worked! Now granted, all it cost was the potential risk of hypothermia, but hey! Nothing ventured, nothing gain, right? He has more mass in him in this form, so if anything he can survive it no problem! Let's not think about the potential risk of inadvertently pushing a student to potential death just to cross a broken down bridge. Instead, let's worry about something far more important: potential lunch time.
As Jack leans on the tree, Kaz sighs as he takes off his his outer coat as he tosses it to Jack. "There." He says, quietly lamenting the lost of warm. Hopefully he doesn't notice the small scuff marks on the coat, due to his...recent accident of sorts in the mountain. "Think for a fire we just need some wood, right? Seems easy enough. Plenty dry pieces around." All this for a good snack in the middle of the woods, huh? Not bad. Suppose a hike up the mountain has its benefits after all. Probably. Maybe.

Jack actually went through with his own request? It may have seemed rather dumb to ask someone that but they were left with very little options at that point in time so what Jack did was brave to say the least. Krahno noticed as the dragon guy transformed into a giant dragon right before his eyes. "Wow impressive. To be honest I was just guessing you could do that but this really blew me away to say the least." Krahno would say with a smirk before climbing onto Jack's back.
As he was let onto the back of the giant dragon known as Jack he would feel the cold breeze go by as Jack flew them to the other side of the ravine. But as Jack landed he would form back into his normal self but shivering a lot after that. Suwa sensei advised they take a break here and make a fire to help Jack warm up after this.
Sure it was cold but Krahno was used to the cold at this point. After all he used Ice to heal so it wasn't that strange his body was more used to it than most right? "Here I think you should wear this to help you warm up for now." Krahno took off his coat that was made from cotton and other softer materials and handed it to Jack. "You are just borrowing this until we get you warm again alright?" he would point out as he held the coat out for Jack to take. "What you did was very brave. I doubt I could do anything like that." he would say with a smile.
Krahno was now without his coat for now but he would do what he could to help get that fire started for Jack and the others. "All I have is this apple. Maybe it would be best we forage for some food too while we are out making this campfire." Krahno would suggest as he started to pace around the place keeping himself warm with his movement.

Jack snorted a bit in response to Kaz's rather hesitant response to him asking if they had anything for hypothermia. So sorry to deprive you of warmth while I'm about to go into freezing waters... he thought coyly, a bit annoyed at his attitude. Nonetheless, he nodded slightly, taking a deep breath. Their teacher also reminded him that it wouldn't be a good idea to take flight, with all of the branches and stuff in the way. At first, he raised an eyebrow at him, wondering if he was aware that he probably had more than enough strength to break through said branches. Then again, he would have people on his back the entire time, so it probably wasn't a good idea to let them get hit by them. He nodded, biting his lip again.
Nonetheless, he transformed gracefully, Krahno even complimenting him as he climbed onto his back. He snorted a bit pridefully, giving him a small grin despite the fact that he was shivering. "I mean, I have been here a bit longer than most First Years. Never doubt what a dragon can do~," he chirped, his tail wagging at the compliment. Afterwards, he would return his focus back on course, giving a slight sigh as to what he was about to do. This was not going to end well for his body, to say the least. He made his quick little happy-go-lucky speech, and then took off into the freezing waters.
If he thought the cold on his paws was bad, the sheer freezing temperatures on his belly and sides was even worse. He could feel the cold all over his body, so the dragon was quick to swim over to the other side, using his wings to shield everyone from the water. He was doing a lot just to make sure no one else got wet, so he better get some brownie points for risking his wellbeing like this! Once they were across and everyone was off, Jack was quick to revert and drop to his hands and knees, shivering uncontrollably. He gasped for air, his body feeling like it was below freezing. He almost vomited, but managed to stop himself from doing so for the moment.
Getting him over to sit in front of a tree was easy work, as the boy showed no resistance whatsoever. He didn't even complain when he was stripped of his jacket, and Jack even shed his wet shirt as well, showing off even more scales all over his lean upper body in patches. He gratefully accepted Kaz's and Krahno's jackets, using them as blankets as he shivered. He contemptlated using his Quirk to warm him up, but that may be more harmful than anything. He hugged his tail, using it like a stuffed animal as he awaited to get warm.
When their teacher asked if anyone had a Quirk that could start a fire, Jack weakly grinned. "I-I-I can...h-heh..." he said, chuckling slightly at the irony of it all. At first, he was useless during the first part of the challenge, and now, here he was being one of the more useful ones and he can't even muster enough energy to fire a laser. He did ask to be useful, at least...it just wasn't in the way that he had hoped.
When Krahno suggested going out for food, Jack nodded to his bag besides him. "I-I-I brought some hot dogs and stuff just in case. W-we can roast them if y-you can get them out..." His face flushed for a moment, before adding. "I-if you can get out the fox plush I brought too, t-that would be appreciated." If his request was granted, Jack would be quick to hug both his tail and the fairly-decently sized plush, and was quick to fall asleep. He knew that eating probably wasn't in his best interests at the moment, so for now it was best that he napped and regained his energy. He may have matured, but...well, he was still a baby at heart. If anything, his request proved that well enough.

Suwa was rather glad about the offering of jackets, he would keep his eye on especially Kazu, to make sure the boy wouldn't be cold but it seemed it was only an outer coat, very tactical, he simply asked the others to find dry wood and he would start a fire and helped Jack with his backpack to give him his plushie and find the food. Like Krahno suggested, he made a little pile of the food they had and would see what would happen, they had given out pieces of fruit with lots of sugar to get enough of the sugar rush going on after quirk use, they would still have obstacles to go so he divided the food that he had brought himself, that others might have evenly and put a few of the marshmallows and hotdogs back in Jack's back. He checked his temperature shortly and softly so the student could recover a little, a short break would not be bad, they had done well and deserved that break. So that's what Suwa let do now, when everyone brought enough fire wood, he put it on, at least it was useful to be a survivalist and for having thought about bringing matches. "Now, let's warm up a bit before we continue on our hike. Well done everyone." The teacher said, yes, this had been a good and happy experience, the 2-B teacher was satisfied with the results and he was sure that he would tell every of the representative home-room teachers that later, but that would take a while, they would have to continue their hike, but he gave them a twenty to thirty minute break before asking them to clean up everything, making sure the fire was properly out and they were ready to continue their hike up the mountain. Time for another adventure.
I stop here, the deadline for social threads is next week and I have exams so I wouldn't be well to keep it up with, thank you so much. I liked this one a lot
