all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Where they were working on a lot of things for their future plans and her book now published, she could only wait at home and try to calm down. She wasn't really busy or so, she was stressed and nervous about her book and the publishing things that were going on. She had not heard anything about the sales, she had not heard much from Nagisa about the information about the gym and they had found a location and she had discussed a tour there this morning but that would not be for a few other days, so it was a quiet day. Kai was with G, which he obviously deserved after she had demanded that he would use the lawnmower to get to cut the grass. Now that she was back in the house, she had wanted to start with what she had had in mind months ago. She had bought new ground and found enough garments in the garage and tried to make the blocks that she had in mind months ago, she had made three but those were overcome with weed. She sat on her knees, in a jeans that she had used during her maternity time but now used a belt to keep it up while pulling the weeds out, she wanted to make a little garden for vegetables and fruits and she wanted to plant some flowers, maybe she would have to go to the store to buy more flower seeds, they would be too late for this season though, so she had gone to the store before and had bought seasonal veggies that would start the whole year or were specific for august, and there were still a lot of those so that was no problem at all but the problem was to have enough space. The little bags with the seeds told her how much space she needed but first she needed them without any weeds in there. Her fingernails were brown as she did not take out any gloves or so to continue weeding and she had everything ready but that but she tried to ignore it and just keep up cleaning the first patch. What would she do, first put the seeds into the ground on continue clearing the patches first? She brushed past her forehead with her clean left hand, which she used to support herself while pulling out the weeds with her right. It was quite warm outside and she felt that she was working in not great conditions, she could use a drink, so maybe she should take a break first. |

Miku wanted to visit her parents and family while Haruuhi was busy with James or whatever the ginger was called. Sure, Miku knew of James. But she promised to keep James a secret from Hana and G. Mostly a secret from G. Speaking of boy friends, Miku had one herself, Hideki. She hasnt told anyone about him yet. She wasnt sure if she should. Bah! That was a subject for another time.
She just wanted to see her family. Upon arriving to the Hajimari household, aka her old old home, she saw Hana outsidein the garden doing some stuff. Miku approached her "Hello! Good day, mama!" Miku greeted Hana, playfully calling her mom. She then asked "What'cha doing"
Miku wondered if she could help Hana in any way, if it had to do with plants, Miku was the one with the certified green thumb. If plants needed to be grown, Miku was there to help. Although she wondered how G and Kai were. How was he holding up with a son? Miku always knew G had a hard time with boys, so she hoped the two were ok.
But back to now, it was her and Hana. She wanted to help her mom

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She looked up when she heard footsteps, shielding her eyes from the sunlight as she noticed the girl that approached her, Hanako got up. She blushed a little when Miku called her mama but it brought a smile to her face, "Hello Miku, it's good to see you again." She looked at the flower patch that she was trying to clean up, not that it would contain flowers or did contain but she wanted to work on things in the garden and distract herself and not claim too much baby time. "Oh I am trying to weed the garden, I thought we could maybe make a little kitchen garden and youknow I never had a garden, I thought about how it is big enough to house little parties, and if we can keep it up, just use it to eat dinner outside, maybe give Kai a swing when he is big enough." Albeit that would give herself a potential heartattack but she did not want to think about that, she would just now consider happy thoughts about a potential garden. "It just takes a lot of work to get the weeds out before I can start to build it all up and with me being in the hospital for so long it took a while before and I think it might be too late within the season." She looked a bit disappointed and sighed, "Want something to drink? Did you come to visit?" She tried to be a little more happier about something so she would focus on the fact that Miku was here, totally not considering her quirk at this point because it wasn't the first thing on her mind, so she had not asked, she simply considered what she wanted to do: get some lemonade or anything the like, maybe some soda, so she would walk inside if Miku would agree with drinking something. |

Hana was sweet, greeted Miku and then explained what was she doing. She explained how she wanted a garden because she never had one. Plus they could make a swing for Kai. But it just takes a lotta work, and she thinks it might be late within the season. After that Hana asked Miku does she want a drink and did she come for a visit
"Yeah! I wanted to visit my family. Haruuhi was with some red headed guy. I dunno his name. It was an english name" Miku said with a shrug, then "On the other hand, I could go for a glass of water. My Quirk requires me I stay real hydrated for this terrible heat"
She then wanted to chime in about the garden stuff "Also, if you want. I can help with the garden. You can never miss a season with me around! Plus, I dont think I'll get in trouble for some home gardening Quirk use. But if you want I can check with the school to be extra sure"
Miku was serious about checking with UA. She wanted to be sure that she wasnt breaking a rule. UA did say no Quirks outside of school. But they never clarified could a Quirk be used for a mundane thing like gardening, because Quirks were mostly used for the purposes of combat and not for homely convienence

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Hanako was actually rather curious about the casual information that Miku gave about Haruuhi, read headed guy? It might be the same guy from months ago, well good for her, but let's not talk to G about that and besides it was about Miku right now, not Haruuhi. "You hang out with Haruuhi all the time?" She was rather curious about that, she hoped Miku had a good time at school, more friends than just waiting for her sister to have time for her. She nodded when Miku asked for a glass of water and she went inside through the backdoor of the house and to the sink to wash her hands of the dirt and sticks of weed that were stuck to it before getting two glasses and filling them with cold water from the refrigerator. You could say that she was trying to live the adult life correctly. A sort of change into her well being and taking care of others had made her realize what she wanted and try to mix that into the life of what she had to do, which was take care and be responsible. "Do you sleep well with this temperature?" Which showed again just as the previous two questions that she tried to be as friendly and a bit motherly at the same time, she had no idea what the girls wanted, as Miku called her mom, it was probably a bit of both.
Once inside Miku offered to help with the garden and Hanako looked at her and frowned, "School is really that strict? I mean you only grow plants in your backgarden where no one else can see it, what would be the problem?" What a bullshit thing those quirkers got going on, surely it was necessary for those little shits to not be villanous (she meant the regular citizens) but to be strictly said not to be able to use a profound quirk for helping in your back garden, what a bullshit. "I don't think you have to check, we can work it out, the only one being able to spy is your father and your baby brother and I am sure they don't tell anyone else." She grinned and put the water back in the refrigerator and walked to the kitchen table to see the little packs of seeds she had, "I really would like it if you helped me." Also because that meant they could be doing something together. |

"Well yeah... We do share a dorm room after all" Miku said, not knowing Hana thought about other people besides Haruuhi. Well.. hmm. Miku well, socializing was always hard for her. OD Hazard was great. But she didnt socialize with them outside band stuff, which was sad. There's Yusaku, buuut he's a bit of a pain. She doesnt like being in his armour. Its weird and creepy. Well, there's Rowan... but... how close were they? They werent in the same class and well... she hasnt seen Rowan in a while. At its core, Miku just had family. And Hideki. But lets not talk about Hideki.
Hana tried to socialize too, so she asked Miku does she sleep with this temperature. Miku nodded and said "Yes". They went to the house, Miku offered to help with the garden, Hana frowned and asked is the school really that strict. Miku nodded. She took her phone and opened the school page and looked at the rules. She showed her the screen and highlighted the rules that concerned Miku Severe Offenses
Minimum Penalty: Suspension of no less than three days, Maximum Penalty: Suspension of up to two weeks.

Miku then scrolled down a bit more and highlighted another rule that concerned her

Hanako was worried, she did not mind that Miku and Haruuhi were very close but she did not want Miku to feel left out the moment Haruuhi was away with someone, or for example if Hanako went to do something with Haruuhi without Miku, anything for that matter, she wanted her daughters to be happy. "Tell me all you want to tell me about school, I am rather curious I mean I was there for your sports festival but that's not every day practice I suppose." She made a soft laugh, she did not as usual want to force Miku (nor Haruuhi) to talk about things they did not want to talk about, she did not want to claim a mother role if they did not want it. She would also ask if she was doing okay with this temperature before getting into the house adn offer her water.
While doing so, Miku showed her a whole list of things about the school and the rules and Miku even highlighted parts that made Hanako only frown more and even scrunch up her nose, what a typical bullshit. "It's not reckless, I mean I suppose you know what you are doing with your plants." Suspension of using quirks in your own damn garden, use of quirk of campus, okay now that she could imagine, "But sweetheart, I don't want to say you have to, we could try the old fashioned way but no one would be able to see, we have a hedge, we have the house, no one will see you using your quirk and no one will report it." And if they do, you bet your ass I will find them and find all their own blackmail worthy stuff so no one would bother the, but let's not bother Miku with her whole Lady Scandal story. "I mean I understand those rules, but god forbid you can't even help your family making plants grow, it's not like you would explode the whole garden or so." There might be highly offensive quirks where she understood that ruling for but helping with plants in the garden, really? Though you could say, you can't make an exception for one when the other couldn't but it wouldn't hurt to do so, no one else had to know. |

Miku shrugged, when it comes to regular friends, it was all meh. She shook her head in the end to give Hana her answer. Hana then asked Miku to tell her about school stuff.
"Oh... well, I train with Hachi sensei. She's nice. A bit rough around the edges... but nice" Miku said as she mostly thought there was not much to talk about. Miku wasnt the most exciting UA student around.
Hana then asked if she was doing ok with this temperature
"Yeah. I handle heat better then cold." Miku answered, since she was a plant girl, she preffered the sun. But of course within reason, she still had to be hydrated.
After that they had a talk about school rules and Miku proceeded to show Hana the rules. She always carried them with her. Miku smiled when Hana spoke that its not reckless.
Hana then mentioned they could do things the old fashioned way, which made Miku pensive. She doubted she was all that good without her Quirk.
But Hana also made sure that no one can see Miku use her quirk, which made the girl smile. She hugged Hana and said "Thank you!"
She needed this. A supportive mother figure. Yes, this was perfect.

Hanako simply stared at Miku, blinked a few times but she said nothing, it wasn't that she did not believe Miku but she did not want to believe, "Little shy?" She asked because well she could see Miku as shy, she had been shy in their first moments alone but now she called her mama so well there was a development. She was slightly worried, but well it was not bad to be a bit of a loner as long as you did not mind being so, Hanako had not had many friends and it wasn't until the point of her pregnancy that she realized she literally had no much friends, that also reminded her that she should give Delta a call any time soon as well as Elena. But that was not the point now, the point now was to talk to Miku, learn more about her eldest daughter or so she believed and that made her realize that she did not know aaaand that she barely knew a thing about her. She offered her the glass and looked at her listening to school. "Hachi-sensei?" She was sure she had heard the name before, where was it again, wasn't it at the hospital, the one that saved G? Well she obviously was a pro-hero if she taught at U.A. She raised her eyebrow about the rough around the edges and she shook her head with a smile shortly after that. She wished to know more, what the lessons were like in general and how she was doing with her classmates and so on, she did not even know Miku was the class president. Maybe she wasn't asking the right questions.
Their conversation changed about the weather and she nodded, "Lucky you, I don't think many would agree." Hanako could handle it but she did not particularly like it. She took a sip of her water and watched her daughter, still weird tingling in her mind when she said that but they were talking that was a good thing and she learned about the school rules that Yuuei put up. Weird... she found it exaggerating. She was also sure that no one would see it, they had a hedge, and it was their goddamn garden. Oops Hana mind your words, but she was glad the hug she got from Miku, albeit she always felt small when Miku hugged her and she wasn't wearing heels as the girl was just a bit taller than her. "Well let's fix our drink and get that weeding over and done with so we can plant the seeds." |

Hana asked Miku if she was a little shy. Miku looked down and sadly nodded. She wasnt as social as she wanted to be, which really saddened her. She doesnt have a consistent friend aside from Rowan, and Haruuhi who of course became her sister.
Their conversation shifted from one subject to another. Though the way Hana said Hachi's name, it sounded as if it was in this sorta questioning way.
"Yeah. Haruu's new Homeroom Teacher... of Support Studies. Also the one in charge of Cooking Club" Miku said... she then added "Yellow Jacket?" just in case Hana knew her by her Hero name.
Soon the conversation changed once again. Miku nodded to Hana's words. "I guess it must be my Quirk, thats why I like more Spring and Summer... I guess" she said
Hana then said that they should fix their drink and get that weeding outta the way so they could plant the seeds. Miku smiled and nodded. Yeah, they can do the weeding together. They could spend time together. They can do anything together. Miku was really eager to start with their gardening. She couldnt wait because this was gonna be so much fun, real mother and daughter bonding time

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She believed the girls were kind of unlucky with an extravert father and yet both being so shy, she knew Haruuhi was trying to hide it and Miku in her own way was as well but the fact that she had just said she was depending on Haruuhi made it a little obvious. She took her daughter's hand and tried to get eye-contact which was really difficult when she was looking down but Hanako was going to try, "Miku, there's nothing wrong with being shy. You don't need the whole world to be your friend, two or three could be enough and you know, as long as you act kind to everyone, I bet they all want to be your friend." Because obviously Hana as biased as she was, saw nothing wrong with that. "Just don't befriend that raven-haired girl during the sports event, I don't like her for a bit." She winked, "You will be fine, High school is a difficult time but if you ever need someone to listen to you, I will always be there, alright?" She squeezed her hand a little before putting her glass back next to the sink and offered to go outside.
She was only curious about what Mikus aid next but the name sounded so damn familiar, Hachi-sensei, yet Hanako had no idea who that would be and she nodded, but still she was sure she had not bumped into the homeroom teacher of Haruuhi and well she obviously had not been invited in as a parent and.. "Oh." She blinked, yea she remembered, "She-she is the one that saved Gil." She never really said Gil when the girls were around, G, your father, blabla, but the fact that Miku had a training session with this woman or well yes woman, "I should write her a thank-you letter." And she almost walked away from what they were doing because it was very important before she hastily turned back to Miku, "I can do that later today of course, we could work in the garden first." But she had to thank the person that saved the love of her life's life or how you wanted to formulate it.
So she waited for Miku to finish her drink before heading out through the well back-door on the side, to the perks that she had made for gardening, she looked around, "I used one glove, you could use the other, unless you don't mind dirty hands." She had maybe a bit of an exaggerating side for the dirt, it was just the ground and you would be able to clean that, she was already proud of herself for having the idea of making flower perks but she just needed to weed the patches now. "What is your favourite flower and let me know when you need more flower seeds," because that had been fun to buy when she was working on finding her a christmas gift. "I mean once we have a garden it will be easier to find new ones." She smiled, yes this could be fun. |

Hana made her look in the eyes. Hana told her that the whole world doesnt need to be her friend, just a few people. Two or three. But then she mentioned a certain raven haired girl. Miku frowned when she heard that. It wasnt a sad frown, it was an angry frown. "Oh hell no. I hate her. She's evil. She messed up my hand" she looked down on her left hand "I still sometimes feel it hasnt properly recovered"
Miku felt Hana was gonna squeeze her hand just a lil. So she stopped that, but just going in for a hug. A nice semi tight hug. The two then went outside. The two talked more, like about Hachi, and then Hana realized who that was. The Hero that saved G. Hana mentioned that she should write her a thank you letter. Miku though wanted to talk about something else.
"Hey, mom. Why dont you encourage dad to use his real name around us. Like his real name can be the secret secret identity. Like, real name, then the cover name is Gabe. And his other name is G. Why not. Having 2 secret names!" Miku wasnt sure if Hana got the jist. But she wanted G to accept his real name. It can be something only the family knows.
It seemed tho Hana really wanted to write that thank you letter as she almost left to do it asap. But then changed her mind and said she could do that later. They were gonna garden first, which made Miku smile. She was so happy they were gonna do an activity together.
Together they could use one glove. One for each. Miku just nodded to that idea. Mother knows best after all. Hana then asked what was Miku's favorite flower "Hmm. Maybe Lily. Lily of the valley" Miku said.

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She thought she had made a light joke, a little show of support when she said she did not like the raven haired girl, Hanako could not even remember her name, she only knew her as the twat that hurt her daughter and fainted out of what, patheticness? She did not want to think about it, she was obviously biased. "Why did you not say so honey? We could have asked an expert, a therapist for muscles you know, did you talk to someone about it, do you have bad memories about it?" She was worried, was she not paying enough attention to her-her daughters? Was she doing something wrong, oh shit. She would write it down in her diary, make an appointment at the hospital, she might even call Nimue, yes, Nimue was close by, she could look after Miku, right? She was holding Miku's right hand, which was why she was not afraid to softly squeeze that hand but Miku stopped it and hugged her. With not wearing any heels, Miku was about a few inches taller than Hanako but that did not stop the young mother to hug her new daughter herself and than take her outside.
Yes, right, a-a thank you letter. Oh god would she be able to write that today and let Miku give it to Hachi, seriously she, oh boy, yes, so much to do and that and now and she stopped and looked at Miku, getting back out of her overloading mind when she heard the casual hey mom. She frowned a little with what she said, "I would not mind suggesting it but don't expect too much, sweetheart. Your father isn't proud of where he came from, he left the name behind that was given to him because of that feeling, becoming a new person." Now that she thought about it, she brushed a piece of Miku's hair away from her eyes and tucked it behind her ear, it was a miracle she could call him Gil. "But I might try." She winked, right, thinking about that, that tha- no she should stay. She gave an apologizing smile to Miku before turning to what they were doing now.
She went to sit down on the foam cushions that she had bought in a garden center, where you could lean up with your knees without hurting your knees or being in the impossible stand of hunching down all the time. She gave the right glove to Miku and took the left one herself and showed her the idea, pulling out every small piece of weed, shake it a little so you would not take too much of the sand out and throw it in the bucket that she had next to the flower perk. "Lilies in general are very pretty. Lily of the valley are the small white ones right?" She wasn't too familiar but she wanted to try. Maybe when it was the season they could make a little flower garden for Miku where she could plant her favourite plants. |

Miku looked at Hana and facepalmed at her own foolishness
"Im sorry. I guess I never thought about it. I dont know. Im just not used to" Miku said.. well.. the truth. She never thought about G or Hana. She never thought to ask, it just never crossed her mind. She wasnt used to the luxury of having two parents that she could ask stuff or confide in. This was a new experience to her.
Hana mentioned a therapist and asked if she had bad memories about it "I talked to the school counslor. I dont know if I got the answers I wanted. I dont know if it helped me. I dont think it did. But yeah. I have bad memories" she said. But the therapist thing "Do you think we can go to a therapist?" she asked Now, Hana was holding Miku's right hand. The fully healthy one. She squeezed it softly, and Miku squeezed her hand back, before just going in for the hug.
After that, the subject changed to G and his name. Miku nodded when Hana gave her an answer. Though Hana's wink made her smile.
Hana soon sat down and gave the right glove to Miku, and took the left one for herself. Miku watched Hana pull a piece of the week, shake it a lil.. Basically Hana showed Miku what to do. She said how lilies are pretty and asked to confirm if Lily of the valley were the small white ones. Miku nodded and eagerly awaited

She wasn't sure what to say about it, and simply nodded, maybe she was a child herself. She did not like this answer, but she did not want to think about it. "Well in case it happens again, you should tell us so we can go and see if the hospital can figure something out, did you even go to the-the school nurse?" Was she being a-a, well someone that would think their opinion or informed status was most important because even if she was called mom by Miku, that did not mean that it would involve everything of her roll. She should let it go. "Why not?" She looked over her shoulder as she decided to take a step away and wash her hands as a distraction. Obviously this had not helped her big mouth. "You can have someone to talk to, you can have a therapist or no, its called a physiotherapist, to make sure you don't have or keep permanent damage with your hand." If she wanted, Hana wasn't sure what Miku wanted, the hug made it even more confusing.
Before they went outside to go and weed the garden, she wasn't sure what to talk about, so she had asked Miku for her favourite flower and now was thinking about maybe finding seeds for that, she wasn't sure if they were somewhere in Japan, but everything was imported anyway, she should be able to find something. She wondered what more she could ask Miku at this point, she did not want to be silent and give the girl the feeling that she had nothing to talk about or whatever. Wonderful job Hanako, really well done... not. |
