I teach you and you teach me [G & Nim]

She hit him softly, it could be more of a plaything than actually hitting him on the shoulder, "It will never get better if you don't hold him. A parent will have instinct, every monkey will learn how to hold their baby, every lion will know how to take care of its cub, so will you. We will figure it out and if you need help, you will learn how to ask. You don't have to ask strangers anymore, you can ask me." She said and leaned back on her legs and looked at him with a worried look in her eyes. "I don't want you to push away your son because of one thing that you have never done before. I know that it feels like you can't make mistakes but babies and little children are very well... I wanted to say flexible but that's not the word, they can adapt quickly, they can adjust and withstand an awful lot even their dads holding them wrong for a while. You will be fine and you will not break his neck or anything. Why do you think you can't do it while Hanako can? You two should be together, figuring things out with your first child, seeing it as easy peasy with your second child, G." She held still and looked at him, "It's not fair to say this because it's a feeling you can't directly push away. But don't worry. Carry yourself like the wind and let it come to you, I can show you how to hold your son or anything else for that matter but you have to let it go and by letting go I mean either talk about it so that someone can help you overcome that fear and talk about it to her, Hanako will support you, you don't  need to carry this burden by yourself." She did not know how long her peptalk went on but she seriously hoped he would pay attention. She was sure she would be teaching him how to do it alright and that at least a percentage of his anxiety might drop about that, but there might be more that he worried about. "Anything more going on?" Was it fair to ask? Was she pushing? Maybe she was but she thought it might be for the better for all of them, as a family, if she could fix that, take away the fear, than it would be worth the pushing. 

She shook her head with a little smile, "Can't send you back to your wife with bruises, now can I?" She said but she would do a check up for as far as she could about not the bruises and issues she might have created by somersaulting him over her shoulder so Nkosi would check, especially on the rate of his anxiety and if they should do something about it. To be fair, she wasn't a fan of such medicine mostly because it would influence the human being, while the person should be strong enough to overcome it eventually. Especially if it with G wasn't an every day form of anxiety, he was anxious when it came to his son, medicine would not help for that, nor any other fancy named pill that was brought out onto the market. No he needed experience and there was one way to get it. "Aye, you should, it's very important but you got time for that now that your son is here. There are very useful websites about it and feel free to ask if someone needs to help you to make sure you have everything, two pair of eyes see already more than one." Nkosi wanted to keep in the airy mood that Nimue was trying to create and hold on to, the fact that the two of them tried to make sure that G was not to blame for anything as a first time father... wait was he? Well they made that assumption based on age and Miku and Haruuhi, Tokyo was a strange world nonetheless. 

As the lights began to flicker and i the end stopped working at all, she hurried out of the training facility to the front desk to ask what was going on. The panic seemed to be big and she turned to G, "Go see if Hanako is okay, alright? I be here and if I know what we can do if at all, I pick you up, alright?" She was sure that he must be worried so she would offer him this change to get out and calm his own nerves a little. She turned back to the desk and slammed her hand on it to get attention from somebody, when she finally got it, she gave the kindest smile and said she would be here to help. Finally someone found the way to the emergency unit for the electricity and they would quickly go there to switch it back on, every second was essential. While Nimue listened to the other girl from the front desk explain that it seemed there was no power out or whatsoever but suddenly it went all out and they had no idea what was going on. The electricity switches and so on were locked up on the highest floor within the building and they would try to call an electrician the moment the power would be back on and so forth. The machines for the hospital must run on that thing immediately but the light and smaller items did not seem to be necessary so the patients must be fine, but the girl could not help and be afraid that a villain might be behind this.

She came eventually back upstairs, the emergency lights given enough light to run up the stairs as she did not feel like checking the elevator, they would have the power back on now that the emergency power unit fixed it for what they needed, but the room where he was with Hanako was dark and the nurses came to her to ask what was going on and she said the power was out but nothing was happening yet. The emergency cameras showed no one else around the perimeter to make an attack like Thundershock had done but she could imagine that they were afraid of it and she gritted her teeth and knocked on the door but immediately got in. 

"All I know is that the power is out, would you please come along? I don't think its a big deal but I want to make sure." She looked at Hanako who held Kai in her arms and held on to G's sleeve with one hand and her eyes, albeit difficult to see in the dark stared at Nimue, "There is no one out there, not that they can see on the cameras and they do still work so it's probably something within Tokyo, so don't worry." She smiled a little and turned her eyes to G and noticed Hanako let go and told him he should go along so he could come back to her and she bit her lip, glad Hanako understood and she would take a step out of the room to make sure they would go, they would have to take the stairs and that was going to take ages to go to the high level of Tokyo Hospital, if they wanted to be fast and have G return to Hanako. She had a bad feeling but maybe it was previous panic that hurt her, she wanted to it to be nothing, the cameras showed nothing but there must be something and thats why she wanted to hurry up by going upstairs as soon as possible. 

She was running up the stairs, two steps behind G, who wasn't only faster but also taller so he could easily take those steps while she was running after him. "I don't know, I still have a bad feeling about this but there is really nothing on the cameras, no one, no sign of someone before and they do work. They simply asked to look to the power engine and that's where we are running towards." The sooner they get the power back on the better of course, after all the hospital could not run forever on the emergency unit. She had the idea that something was wrong but maybe it was just the panicking setting from before, the fact that Thundershock had attacked the place before made it not suddenly immune to any other potential threads. No there might be nothing and just an energy cut but why would that happen and what was the whole point. Nimue shook her head and simply followed. She would be able to guide him while being two steps behind now. They just had to run up the stairs until the last floor, the stairs to the roof were not immediately connected to this one but were on the left. That's the opposite of where the power engine was and so she pointed to the right. Where it was really dark. 

She had not asked for a flash light, people at the reception needed that first and she simply had to let her eyes get used to the dark here, intense dark than compared to the other things. Finally her eyes adjusted and she noticed a big metal door, or well it was made with bars so not massive metal and she noticed a whole in there, the bar directly to the door was broken off and if you were rather skinny you could fit through, Nimue could not but she had gotten the key. She did not say anything though but pointed at it, so someone could have broken in or they were paranoia now, which was not surprising. 

She almost held her breath, trying to see if someone would crawl out still or not, at first, she did not hear a sound but when she paid attention to any cling and clang sound she heard it, a very quick breathing and it wasn't hers and it did not come from next to her where G was but further forward. Someone was in there. She wondered if her partner had heard it to, but there was no way out than this door so she would open it and they would see. 

She finally heard something even after she was elbowed to step forward and unlock the door, which yes was the plan but she wanted to make sure the plan was good and so on, it would be sad if there would be a big issue with them being surprised by something. This quick breath that she heard surely pointed out that the person in there was afraid of what was happening and she wasn't sure if a quirk like Goliath was necessary at this point but she simply nodded to G, she wasn't sure if she got the whole message but opening the door was an easy one. She took the steps forward, lifted the key to the lock on her chest height and slowly twisted it, it made a rather loud and empty clicking sound but for as far as she knew there was no other way out.

She stepped forward, the light the engine emitted was red, probably because of the fact that it was off and she wanted to worry about that first, so her mind focused on that. Stepping forward to find the leveler and everything when on her right, in the dark hole that was before the engine someone quickly stepped out and pushed her aside. She did not fall, she let out a simple "Ah" sound but that was all, "I will put on the engine, catch him." Him, her, whatever it was Nimue had no time to make a specific distinction. The idea was that their culprit was running away and used the dark as a great facade to stay anonymous. Now that would change rather soon. She quickly turned to the engine again. Nimue had kept her balance so she only needed a second to turn her heel and stare at it, the bottoms, the leveler, everything and she tried to recall what the security guy had said and she found a way to switch the light and energy back on, immediately shutting down the emergency powerunit and the light even in this part of the building, albeit minimal switched on. 

Showing that their culprit was indeed a he, but a teenager at that, it had probably been joking but she was now even more angry than she had believed before. The risks, the everything someone could think of when it came to shutting down a hospital. She would call the police, but they first had to catch the kid who would try to run down the stairs to avoid G and Nimue's potential wrath.
