“Haha, you ain’t a fan of the pigs either, huh?” Brooklyn cackled. “Yeah, yeah, they’d probably go after you, actually. Fuckers don’t like street brawls, shit’s fuckin’ lame.” It seemed simply agreeing with Brooklyn about the police had calmed him down a bit, enough that he wasn’t yelling anymore.
Only when they left the alleyway did Brooklyn notice the burning sensation on his back. At first, he’d thought it was merely the stares of a thousand stupid assholes boring into him, but a slight turn of his head quickly told him otherwise. He squarked in alarm, and immediately dropped to the floor and rolled back and forth on the concrete.
“Oi, what the fuck, dude? Why’d you not fuckin’ tell me I was gonna burn my nuts off?” He cursed, when the fire was finally out. He was still smoldering a bit, and there was tar coating some of his feathers, but he wasn’t burning at least. Would be worth kicking him into a fountain or something on the way, though.
