Viviane had been having an okay day all things considered. She managed to wiggle herself into getting the batch of small packages to deliver, so she only needed to stop at the warehouse once before she completed her quota for the day. Now the sun was almost setting and she was down to her last package, aside from the usual brown cardboard box and label exterior, it was the slightly larger than her fist, maybe a bit more too. Once she got this delivered she could clock out of work early and spend some time relaxing and having fun. With a thin and barely noticeable smile on her face she continued to run through the maze of Tokyo's streets on her way to deliver the package in her bag so she could finally go home.
She found herself turning corners she had never turned before, going down streets she had never gone down, and seeing stores she had never seen before. 'This place is a bit far from my usual routes...' She noted as she continued to run down streets. Idly she noted a few shops that piqued her interest. She was going to check those out during her next day off and see what was in them, but right now she had a job to do.

God, I really needs to get back in the motion of things. Brandon has been slacking off on his training the past few days, but that's typical of his job to miss out on available time to train. What can't be excused however, is not doing his usual boxing routines. Ever since the whole 'arm' thing, he hasn't been hitting the bag. But now that's gonna change. From now on, he's gonna focus more on actual training. The return of Drake starts now!
First things first, though. He needs some proper gear, and he's been saving up some free money to get some proper gear. He's gonna do some serious training, and his old gloves have been failing, as if they were falling apart by the seams. That's not good. Sure, he can transform his arms with his quirk, but then there's another problem with that: He might destroy the thing immediately. That's not really what any in-ring fighter wants to do; immediately crushing the opponent is generally frowned on. Sure, a thug or a criminal, maybe...but not an actual rival in a match or friendly spar! You have to build up to the climax (if allowed, of course), not destroy them at the first second! Even an idiot like Brandon knows that!
Off he went, then, to the wonderful world of online shopping buying some training gloves to use in the gym. A good brand, good material...all that didn't really matter to him. All he needed were cheap and durable ones. And luckily for him, he found them. Not bad looking, and also not too flashy. He always hated those kind of gloves that had dumb fancy decals on them. Buying them, he was told that it would take about a week. Makes sense. Makes total sense.
Brandon grumbles as he eats some ramen at a place in Tokyo, having finished up a short job over there. So it's been a week...and nothing. Nothing what. so. ever. The hell is up with this damn service? He even made sure that it was to his apartment! The hell is going on? Brandon grumbles as he looks off in the distance, almost absentmindedly. He sees someone walking with a box in their hands, looking at some stores. It was weird, he could have sworn that she was heading towards the general direction of his apartment, but then went the other way...nah. Can't be. It super can't be...can it?
Brandon leaves the small ramen spot, looking at the lady going on in her path. He keeps a close eye as he follows from behind. If those are his gloves then...well...he's got some questions as to why it took them so damn long.

"Huh..." Viviane looked at the buildings in front of her as she came to a stop. "That's not where I'm supposed to go..." She mumbled to herself as she reached for her phone. She pulled up a map application that her company used on her phone and began comparing her surroundings to the address on the label. "Let's see...ah there, I'm supposed to take a turn here and..." She was lost to her muttering as her body began following the instructions she had given herself. She took off running as she sought out the address on the package, feeling her heart slowly starting to get faster.
"Alright now I'm sure I'm very lost." She muttered as she came face to face with a dead end in a narrow space between two buildings. She lifted the phone in her up to her eye level. Her eye twitched slightly in annoyance as she saw that the app was the currently unavailable due to errors. "Well, that's just great, guess I'll have to head back to the warehouse and drop this thing off." She lightly tossed the package in her hand. "Probably get added into someone else's workload but not my problem anymore." Stowing away the box into her bag and fixing the beret on her head she began to run back in the direction of the delivery warehouse to end her work day.

Yup, just as he thought...they're going the other way. And that box...that box looks like it belongs to him! That's the only reason to why she was going in the direction of his apartment! What the hell, why did they go the other way?! Brandon looks somewhat furious as he tries to hide his presence from them. Somewhat failing, but still trying his best with his hoodie. Totally not looking suspicious at all, by the way. He at least made sure to stop at moments so she wont feel like he's stalking them. Cause he super isn't. He's just trying to figure out why they going the other way.
And then they started to pick up the pace. This is starting to make Brandon angry. He's been waiting for that order for like a week, and now that it's almost within his grasp, it's just gonna try to escape again to where-ever the hell they're going to. Are they going to give this to the wrong person? Is some random asshole gonna open up his order, see the gloves, and throw them in the trash? Is some guy gonna give them to their kid and have them rip it apart thinking its a toy? Are THEY gonna steal it and keep it for herself, upon realizing the inherit value in them? NO WAY IN HELL IS HE GONNA LET THAT HAPPEN!
As the delivery person picks up the pace, so does he. If they get faster, he gets faster. If they make a turn, he'll make a turn. If they look back, he's probably gonna dive into a store to not get cau-WAIT WHY IS HE DOING THAT, THEY'RE GONNA GET AWAY! If they even look back he's still gonna track them down! He's gonna get those gloves, no matter the cost! Just you wait, delivery person!
Side note, Brandon hasn't slept well in a while due to some work, so he's a bit more denser than usual. If he had more sleep, he would have realized that A) this was a deliver girl and B) the way that he's tracking her down is indeed somewhat akin to stalking...then again, he would have done this with anyone else, being the dumbass he is. In fact he almost got into a fist fight with a delivery worker the month ago. It was quite funny to Kent, but not hilarious to the worker.

Viviane felt a sudden chill crawl down her spine as she made her way through the streets once more, package stowed neatly away in her bag. She came to an abrupt halt, her shoes skidding against concrete as she made a sudden look behind her. Her eyes scanned every person in her as she began to feel panicked. She didn't want to jump to any conclusions but she felt that she was being watched by someone. She took a deep breath in. "It's fine, no one's looks suspicious. Just keep going." She mumbled, trying to encouraging herself to keep moving forward.
She began to run again only this time she kept taking glances at her back and trying to see if there was someone tailing her. She took a left turn and checked, and again, and again. She took four left turns before she finally managed to single out the one that had been tailing her. Why else would she see someone behind her after going around in a circle? Now fully convinced of the possible danger that she was in, she did the only thing she could. She bent her knees slightly, leaned forward and with all the force that she could muster, she kicked off into a sprint.

Aw crap, they stopped. It's almost as if they realized he's following them. That's not good. That's not good at all. If they realize he's following them, then he'll never get that package! Brandon growls a bit as he gets near a wall and hides there, trying not to look too out of place. Alright, Brandon, time to think. He peaks out and sees the delivery person continuing forward. If they keep going that direction, it's be through a busy area. That means that you'll stand out even more while following them. So...time to pull up the hood. Unaware that this will only make him look even more suspicious, he continues forward as the delivery person speeds up and starts going around corners.
It took him a while to realize something. The delivery person is going in a damn circle. Like...what the hell? Are they playing with the package, as if it's some sort of game to them? That package contains hard evidence of his hard earned money, in the form of training gloves for boxing! He's not gonna let them get away with this! His eyes narrow as the delivery person starts to sprint. This only makes Brandon angrier. "Wh-HEY! STOP! HOLD ON! THA-THAT'S MINE! HEY! ASSHOLE!" He exclaims to them as he also kicks off into a sprint.

"Crap crap crap crap craaap!" She yelled at herself as she forced every muscle that was involved in running to work harder. She managed to sneak a glance and saw someone, she wasn't sure if it was a guy or a very masculine woman, wearing a hood, going after her. The voice clarified that he was a male but the yelling only made her want to go faster. No way was she stopping for a mysterious hooded figure hot on her heels with unknown intentions. "No! Go away!" She yelled back, turning her head back to him briefly. "Leave me alone!"
She had to lose this punk somehow. The only thing she could think to do was run and hope to lose him. She took a left turn into a space between buildings, then a right and somehow found herself face to face with a dead end. "This isn't good..." She was now in full blown panic, her heart was racing, more than it had ever done before. She knew the tell tale signs of her Quirk triggering, the very loud sound of her heart beats becoming faster and faster until it slowly blended into a smooth rumble. Her King Engine was online and her body was trembling.
Immediately looking around she spotted a couple of trash cans near her. "This should do." With practiced ease of repeatedly picking up heavy loads, she lifted the can above her head and got ready to throw it at her stalker.

This person is getting faster and faster, almost as if they're afraid of him. What gives? All he's doing is playing the role of a very concerned and angry customer, angered and insulted at the fact that his package that he legally ordered online and was told that would arrive ON TIME within a damn WEEK, is currently being held hostage by a very stubborn and/or selfish delivery person. He's not in the wrong!...Is he? Wh-whatever, he'll worry about that after he catches up with the person. If it turns out to be a misunderstanding, then they'll just apologize. Simple as that, he thinks to himself as he rushes towards Viviane while wearing a hood and yelling at her as if he were a notorious stalker preying out his next target.
What somewhat broke him from this 'trance' of sorts is that they started to yell in a girl's voice. "Leave them alone?" Wait, wh- hold on here. The hell is going on here? First of all, it was her own damn fault that she went the opposite way! Second of all, it was all her fault that she went in circles! What did you expect when you try to outsmart someone by going in circles and running away blindly? You'll only get in trouble!
...Wait a sec.
He starts to slow down as he approaches her. "Wh-what?! The hell are you talking about?! Listen, you got the thing I ordered online! Why the hell are YOU running away fro-" He appears to have missed the fact that she started to grab a trash can, and readied herself to throw it. Before a surprised yelp can leave his mouth, the trash can smacked Brandon's face at full force, knocking him down on the ground. Some groaning is heard as he attempts to remove the debris on top of him. "Gaaaaaaaaah...tha-that stings..." He mutters underneath the trash. Wiping away some of them, he looks at the delivery person. "Oi, what the hell?! Is that what you do to a customer?!" He angrily states. "Those are my gloves!"

Viviane could not help but stare at the man underneath the trash with ridicule. So he wasn't a stalker, that was a minor relief, she didn't have to worry about looking over her shoulder during her personal time. He was just an idiot and a thief, maybe one more than the other. "Excuse me?" She yelled at him, already picking up another trash can with one hand and getting ready to throw. "Customer? No you're just a creepy dude that decided tailing an innocent girl in stalker get up was a good idea!" She retorted, pulling her arm back to fling the bin at the guy.
"Gloves?" She paused, her free hand reaching to the package and reading the label. "These aren't gloves you doofus!" She declared, stowing the package in her bag again and flinging the bin, this time she didn't put as much strength in her throw this time. The bin crashed with a loud clang just in front of the man. "These aren't gloves..." She repeated, taking deep breathes. "The label says it's flower pots." She mumbled loudly, her loud heartbeats beginning to slow down. "Now will you leave me alone? This isn't yours." If looks could kill the glare she was giving her stalker right now would have massacred him where he sat.

“Huh!? Stalker?! Hell are you taking about?! I’m not a stalker! I don’t even know you that much to stalk you!” He retorts back at her. He quickly became silent once the truth came out.
Brandon stares at her while she throws the second trash can in front her with an odd look. It was the kind of look that a child would give after being told that the thing they vehemently believe to be true was false. Or the kind of look someone would give after getting caught in eating an early snack without permission or before lunch/dinner. Or the kind of look a dumbass would give upon figuring out that he was chasing down someone after mistaking it as ill intent. That’s the sort of look he gave, highlighted by the bags underneath his eyes due to the lack of sleep.
“Wh...wha...they’re flower pots?...Huh...yeah that makes sense. That does look like a proper size for a flower pot...not sure why I thought they were my gloves...huh…” he shakes his head and tries to think about the events that just happened. “Wait a second...then why did the hell did you go in circles?! You’re gonna deliver that thing really late! Like, come on! What kind of delivery service do you guys run if one guy can hold you up for a couple of minutes?!” He yells at her, still not comprehending the full extent of the situation amiss his sleep deprived idiot brain.
It doesn’t make logical sense why he would yell this to her. If anything, that would just make her angerier. To assault someone’s job performance while they are on said job is perhaps one of the dumbest things a person can do. But then again, poor sleep can cause people to do dumb things. Poor sleep can cause an idiot like Brandon to sign his own death warrant.

"Well I figured that if I took four left turns and saw the same person behind me then I'd know I was being followed." Viviane huffed, crossing her arms over her chest and scowling. "And I can't deliver it, the program we use for finding the addresses of where the deliveries are supposed to go is down, so I'm heading back to shelf this thing." She pat her bag as gently as she could, the soft muffled thud of box comforting her. "It'll probably get added to someone else's run tomorrow, might even be mine, but it's going to get delivered eventually."
"And what kind of delivery service?" She put her hands on her hips and stood straight. "The-" She began to wonder why the wall was coming closer to her face. 'Ah...right.' Her face met wall as her legs suddenly gave out. A groaned pain escaped her lips as she began to feel nauseated and tired all of the sudden. With an unladylike grunt she forced herself off the wall and on her back, a more comfortable position than being being face first against the wall. "I'm okay!" She managed to yell as she waited for the aftereffects of her Quirk to go away.

Brandon pushes off the garbage piling up on top of him. Seriously, why the hell did she throw a trashcan? Now he's gonna have to wash these clothes sooner than expected! Sure, he was expecting at least some stains on them, but they were supposed to be sweat stains, not literal garbage stains! God, these are gonna stink up the place even more! Gaaaah, damn it, was planning to do all that laundry later..." he mumbles under his breath as the deliver girl starts to go about how she wasn't able to deliver the package due to some...weird thing or something involving the system. Who the hell knows. All he knows is that he doesn't need to bother with that stuff. He's got Kent to worry about weird system bullshit.
Getting up, he prepares himself for another scolding when the girl starts to stumble. "Eh?" He looks at her as she struggles to lean on the wall. "Woah, are you....you okay? Did you like, blow a fuse or something? That tends to happen when you run a lot without prep time." He seems somewhat concerned for the person that he was literally chasing a moment ago. "Do ya..you need a water or something? Think I got a bottle stashed inside this coat...come on now..." He pats down his jacket to see if he did indeed have a spare bottle. "Shit. Does this happen to you a lot?" He asks. "...Do you need a hand?"

"No...my Quirk..." Viviane manages out as she slowly recovers from the state that her Quirk puts her in. "It turns...on sometimes...when it turns off..." She groans as she pulls herself up, gripping the wall as much as she could with her hands. Shakily, she manages to bring herself back to a standing position though it's clear that she's trying really hard to remain standing. Her body kept swaying from side to side, sometimes almost causing her to fully tilt and fall. Her legs wobbled slightly, ready to give way at a moments notice. She took a moment to catch her breathe, spending a few seconds of wheezing.
After a while she looked a bit better. "When it stops working...that happens to me...don't worry, this is normal for me..." She shook her head to clear the rest of the nausea away. "I'm fine now...where was I?" She tapped her finger against her lip as she tried to recall where she had stopped. "Ah, right. Night Owl Deliveries, we deliver packages as soon as we get them. Though sometimes that isn't the case, like right now..." She finally remembered where she stopped. "I'm sorry to hear about your package sir but from the sound of it either our company wasn't contracted to deliver the goods of where you ordered your item at...or you weren't home when the package was delivered at your door."

"Huh. So you also got quirk stuff to worry about. Yeaaaaaaaah, I feel you. Most of the time whenever I gotta use it, the one thing I need to worry about it is to...well, not burn out and die of heatstroke. Kinda exaggerating, but it's still a problem I gotta deal with every time. Your body unable to keep up, your internal temperature increasing to uncomfortable levels...it's kinda like a huge sauna where the longer you stay, the more you burn up to a slight crisp." He shakes his head. Such is the curse of certain quirks; to be given a drawback that can cause huge discomfort to the body once it's used. It kinda sucks, if he were to be honest. Then again, he wouldn't really want to be stuck in his scaled form forever...but then again then again...wouldn't be too bad if he were able to flaunt around his quirk without burning up inside.
He tilts his head as she properly introduced herself. "...Seriously...gaaaaaaaah...damn it." He rubs his baggy eyes in annoyance. "Goddamn it, screwed up again. Christ. Kent and Kabu are never gonna let me forget this, wont they..." He mutters underneath his breath. He then looks at Viviane. "Well, so far i'm pretty sure it's not at my apartment. So...that sucks. Guess I gotta wait longer." He sighs. "Well, guess I caused you too much trouble for enough day. Anything I can do that can...well...make up for this bullshit."

"Most people do..." Viviane muttered in response to hos words about dealing with Quirk drawbacks. "My case is technically mild, with enough time and effort I should be able to shake off the aftereffects..." She pushed herself off a wall, righting herself as she slowly noticed she was tilting. She was now standing much straighter, almost as if she had not just suffered severe nausea and exhaustion. "Keeping up? No, my body doesn't have a problem keeping up with performance, just has a problem with going back down to normal." She frowns. "Sorry to hear that your drawbacks seem a lot worse than mine, but I'm sure you'll be able to handle it...just try not to do it while stalking other women I guess..."
"It's...fine, no one got hurt, just a bit dirty..." She looked at his shoulder and brushed off a bit of garbage that she saw was still stuck on him. "Just...don't go chasing strangers without a good reason I guess? The next person might think of throwing something much heavier than a garbage can, heh, they might even deck you across the face." She took a sniff of herself and winced. "If you have anywhere I can shower that would be nice."
