"Bravo, Bravo!" He claps at the end of the performance. It's important to show one's respect at the end of anything, and in this case he has to clap. After all, he did enjoy this show of emotions that run so deep within her heart, so it'll be rude not to show any sign of approval. He won't stand up though, since that's a bit too much. Plus his book is on his lap right now and he doesn't want to drop it on the floor by standing up.
Still odd that her dearly beloved isn't at the presentation. This song is clearly for her girlfriend and the fact that she isn't here confused him very deeply. Was there simply a sudden change of plans for her to arrive? Was there a tragic incident at the train station that simply blocked off the path for her to arrive in time? Was there a family event that she couldn't abandon? The possibilities are endless, honestly. To be denied the gift of a heartwarming song by circumstance...such a shame. Luckily, this moment in time was recorded and-oh crap he didn't record it. He looks down and starts jolting down quick notes of what just happened. "Le-let's see. Um...iron....love...jump off the stage and....alright then." He places the book down once more. Perhaps he is indeed a fool as Red has said (only in a more rude tone. He still hasn't answered him his question of where she is) for letting himself be allured by the song. A chronicler must be objective in his recording, and so must have been focused on the event and not the intent...but it's kinda hard to do so when she played the piano super good. Way better than that previous jazz that he tried to ignore.
Such an odd performance, Kaz nods to himself, if the one she loves isn't there. Oh well, at least her best friend is there to give her a hug. Perhaps she was a mutual of the couple, and she was there on the behalf of Elise's girlfriend. Perhaps they were even roommates. At least someone managed to capture this song in the moment, much more better than he can ever do. In a way, actions are much more better as a form of 'record' rather than simply writing it down, and in that regard he approves of it. Now then..time to jolt down ideas for his upcoming performance.
Hopefully he can come up with something before then.
