A Day With An Idol (Yuri)

And yet... She had groupies following her... Yuri hadn't done a thing to conceal who she was. Instead, the pop idol was found in a rather glitzy blue dress, pale sequins sparkling in the sunlight that beaded off of it. Unlike her normal ponytail, her hair was spun up into a tight pun, a hair stick coming out the right side of it with a blue rose dangling off of it. The woman's makeup was absolutely on point and to be honest she looked... so out of place standing at the front of a high school.

A few students that had been leaving for the day had stopped to stare, some snapping pictures as they passed by, some stopping to say hi and squeal over the fact that she was here at all. Yuri seemed to be having fun with it all, interacting with the kids and chatting away with them so naturally.

That was until Miku arrived, and Yuri immediately spotted the girl. She was super cute in person to be honest! She hadn't imagined her as a blond, cool how she had the same blond tint as her too. She always felt this specific tint was gorgeous, so naturally so was Miku.

"I'm sorry guys but I do need to get going. Have a great weekend alright?!"
She told the kids as she wormed her way out then made her way towards Miku, smiling brightly as she waved the girl down.

"Miku-chan! Hi! Sorry if I kept you waiting, I couldn't really get to you all that fast. You ready to go?"
She asked kindly, tilting her head cutely then pointing towards the limousine behind her.

Miku just looked... stunned, and that caused Yuri to chuckle as the guided the young girl to the limo. She didn't pay the other kids any other attention as she saw the girl in, climbing in behind her and shutting the door. She then pressed a button on the backdoor and the window between the back of the limo and the driver went dark. Yuri would reach up to her hair then and pull the pin, letting her long blond hair fall back into a now curvy ponytail, but still more her signature look.

"Nice to finally meet ya kid. My stage name is Yuri, but you can call me lightning, sorry for the glim and glitz out there but I do need to keep up appearances. So, you wanna tell me exactly why you want to be a hero? I wont just train anyone you know."
Yuri spoke out now as if she'd known Miku forever. She would readjust her seating so that her back was to the door and she sat with one leg crossed while looking at Miku and waiting for her answer.

She wanted to know just how seriously the girl was going to take training with her, and wanted to get to know Miku a little better so she knew exactly how far to push her, she definitely wasn't going to go easy either way but... she only had Thundershock and Velocity's examples to follow after all.

"Love your dad to bits hun, but you don't have to do everything he says you know. He's set you on a great path, and if it's what you want to do then great, I'll help you be the best you can be, but if you don't want to be a rescue hero then dont be. It's your future, and as much as he wants to guide you, you know he'll be proud of you no matter what."
She reassured the young girl who really didn't hold back when she asked her about what she really wanted to be. This was perfect, she was hoping to get a better insight on the girl, and the fact that she wasn't holding back was going to be that much easier for what she had planned.

"And I mean if your dad doesn't want to teach you combat... hehehe I'll be happy to show him what girl power can do. If you really want to be strong, I hope you're ready to drop from exhaustion, because I won't go easy on you. If that's really what you want, then by the end of the year I'll make sure you could even go toe to toe with G in a fist fight."
Okay so maybe G was stronger than her, but hell if she could train Miku up and proved to G that Miku could more than hold her own, then that would give the girl freedom to do anything she wanted. If she still wanted to be a rescue after this training, then sure, she was just going to have the muscle to back it up!

" well, we're headed to the docks! It's pretty busy during the day because of all of the shipments that are coming in and out and it smells kind of funny, but it'll be the perfect place for us to do what we need to do without being seen by authorities. We're going to be starting with some pretty simple strength training where you are going to be helping all of the workers there lift carry and push just about everything. You are going to reorganize the docks you are going to clean the docs and all of this every single day after school. If you want me to I can come and get you every single day after school with a regular car if you don't want to drive in a limo, this way I can come back and oversee your training. I understand that this sounds weird but just hitting the gym doing regular old exercises isn't going to give you the kind of strength that you're looking for. I want you to be out there with real people doing real things, encountering real situations that might seem silly as training but you never know what you were going to run into when you're out there on the field. I hope you're ready because I'm not going to let you slack off."
She briefly explain to Miku as the driver of the limo glanced back to the two girls as he was driving them off towards the docks. Do you know a little bit about Yuri Secret Life as a vigilante he didn't know to the extent in which that went. So whatever little tidbits of information he could pick up he was always paying attention. This kind of stuff always fascinated him.

The limo finally came to a stop on the docks, where yuri and miku promptly got out, waving a limb away as they approached what looks like an abandoned building. Inside was a very old looking sofa as well as a small refrigerator plugged into the far wall. The whole place seemed to be falling apart besides that. As they stepped inside Yuri turn it to look at Miku and place her hands on her.

" we'll use this place whenever we need to take a little bit of a break. If you feel like you're ever going to be sick or you're going to pass out and absolutely cannot keep going I think you can crash on the couch. Although I wouldn't really trust it I'm sure there's all kinds of bugs in there... I mean it so it would only be for a little while... right? Anyways let's get this party started! See that gentleman over there with the long brown beard kind of American looking? Well he's waiting for us, he's got a couple barrels of fish that need to be taken onto his ship which is leaving this afternoon. I'll go with you to go and see him but the job is all yours you are going to use everything you have to move those barrels onto the ship you can use your quirk and you can use your own strength. Got the rules down if so let's go."
Yuri sounded pretty excited for the training that was about to take place, leading the way now towards the bearded sailor who waved them down when they approached them.

The Taylor would welcome your day with a hearty laugh and a prompt arrrr as if he was some kind of pirate, gave her a brief hug before looking towards Miku. He raised an eyebrow as he looked a little girl up and down noting how scrawny she was and how frail looking as well. Was this really the girl lightning strike suggested help him with the duties on the docks?

" har har. Is this ye little assistant there lightnin? The wee lass that's supposed to help me get the beauties onto me ship! I dont think shes cut out to be a deckie!"
The man spoke with the same sort of pirate e accent. From the look of it you really could pass for an old-timey pirate, all he was missing was the wooden peg leg and the eye patch oh and the Bird as well.

Yuri just gave the girl a light nod, agreeing to pick her up from school and take her back by the end of her training. This meant that Yuri herself was going to be spending more time here while Miku trained... so she might as well bring some supplies over so that she could continue investigation on her father and track the clans patterns.

She would suddenly have a fit of laughter though as Miku stood right back up off the couch, wiping her hand on the speedster instinctively as if said bugs had crawled over her hand. Of course she'd been kidding about the bugs (probably) but this definitely made her laugh. It had been a long long time since Yuri used this place at all, so who knows what had decided to move in while she was away.

Then the bearded man arrived and caused her to smile widely as she hugged him.

"It's nice to see you again Rob. Thanks again for your help I really appreciate it. And yes, this is Miku, she's a friend of mine who needs her butt whooped into shape. "
She said kindly then chuckled a bit as she looked at Miku who looked nervous as hell.

"Ayyyy lass we missed ya around 'ere! Just 'asnt the same without ye. So then lil lass. You gun'a wear that there dress? Yer gonna get awful scummy."
He asked as he seemed ready to take Miku out right then and there, though didn't want to force the poor lady to stay in a dress.

They really couldn't tell if Miku understood Rob or not, but either way it seemed like Miku was going to go ahead and train in her dress. They both seemed taken aback but... hey, who were they to judge. It wasn't as if Yuri had never fought in a dress before. Rob was the first to speak up though, walking over to Miku, towering over the smaller girl not by choice, simply because he was just that much bigger than her. Muscular too due to the amount of time he spent on the docks, working with his body. He would carefully place a hand on Miku's shoulder then guide her away from Yuri.

"A'right lass! If you think you kin do the work dressed like that, then who am I ta complain! Right, we're gonna start yee off small! See that there crate? It's full o fish that need ta be incinerated. They all have somethin scurvy about 'em. Move da box into da warehouse 'n load em up into the incinerator. Take yer time, it's heavy work!"
He explained to the girl that her task would actually be quite simple if she had the strength to do it. The crate itself was only about 100kg, but with the massive amount of fish inside, the added weight of the crate was over 400kg. It would normally take a forklift for a quirkless man to move the thing, but these quirkers seemed to always find a way to do the impossible.

He knew it would take Miku a long time to move the crate, and no doubt the fish would start decaying by the time she managed to move it which would only make the task even harder as she had to fight her gag reflex over the smell of hot, decaying fish. Rob would then glance back to Yuri who only flashed him a grin and a nod. Cruel of him to toss her to the crate first! Surely he intended for her to give up to show her what kind of strength she could build up by working on this.

"Ya only got 2 hours ta try movin' it lass. After that, yer gonna scrub the deck of the Jolly Rancher."
He said as he pointed with his thumb towards a rather large fishing boat that was nestled comfortably in the docks. It didn't look anything like a pirate ship, but it was clearly labelled with it's name on the side of the ship.

Rob watched the girls attempts with interest, bringing his hand up to stroke his scraggly beard as he did so. So she had a plant based quirk? Very interesting... he always wondered how types like her ticked. His own mutation was very simple. Enhanced strength that would let him carry that crate with ease. Unfortunately, strength alone wasn't enough to make him want to become a Hero or anything of the sort. It was just handy enough for the work he did.

While Rob watched, Yuri would leave the scene for the time being, disappearing back into the little warehouse she had assigned Miku. The place hadn't been used in a few years... having been her home when she first ran away from the Kobayashi clan. That's how she knew Rob... he had let her stay in her little hideout until she was able to get back up onto her feet. She'd done work very similar to what Miku was doing now just a few years ago. It was exhausting and painful, but she definitely benefit from it.

Inside the warehouse, Yuri began moving things around, cleaning up just enough to make it livable. If Miku wanted to do more with the place she could, because she didn't doubt the girl would be spending quite a lot of time here, too exhausted to make her way back to U.A or G's. She would make trips to and from her car, bringing in a few blankets and a pillow and leaving them stacked on top of the clean refrigerator for Miku to use as she pleased.

While the training itself that Miku was performing was nothing special, it would take everything out of the girl to move that crate. If she managed to move it at all! Even if she did, she'd then be pushed to scrub the deck of the ship, and while Rob was a nice enough fellow, he could be pushy and wouldn't let Miku give up or slack off. Pushing her every step of the way.

This training would happen again and again, every day after school for weeks at a time. The only breaks miku was given were those assigned by Yuri. 1 day for every 2 days of training. Not too bad, but for a girl her age it must feel like hell.
