 at most I'm sleeping all these demons away It was nice to have dinner with all of them, she really thought so as she cleared up the last pieces of the dishes. They had a dishwasher but Hanako clearly first rinsed the dirty plates before putting them in the dishwasher. Now that she was no longer nauseous it felt better to pick up things again, such as cooking. She had to be away from very strong smells but she was doing better. She stared shortly at her coffee machine, really she wanted coffee or a good glass of wine but she could not. And sometimes, out of frustration she picked up a cigarette but put it almost three seconds later back in the box and back in her bag and back in the closet. IT was mostly the frustration from work or actually not going to work. She had a lot of things to do but at some moments she forgot that she was showing as with that Yakuza Princess or her conversation with this Pluto company, she could go there but she should absolutely not show a vulnerable side. Which was difficult if you started to have a small baby bump that was getting more difficult to hide. Especially now spring was around and thick sweaters were not the ideal time of clothing anymore. It was another reason to stay home. It only made her articles rather boring, she checked her phone for a second, her boss was trying to arrange something for Lady Scandal, he seemed to be making a sweet deal. She took a deep breath and leaned on the Kitchen Island. The only bad thing was that with the development of these... interviews for Lady Scandal, it would only be a matter of time before she would have to come clean to G and he would not like it where she had gone lately. He would definitely not let her go on the next adventure, even if there were a brick wall and bulletproof glass between her and the one she would want to interview. How would she go there, should she wear a mask? A hat? Sunglasses? That were worries for later, she pushed herself slowly away from the kitchen counter and took a clean new glass to get some water, she should take care of herself and the little one. She rubbed her bump, something she did not have to hide in this household, which was very comfortable. She walked over to the couch near the windows at the front of the house, maybe she should try to figure out something new for her daily blog, maybe she should tell the world she was pregnant so she could write about that. After all, her blog was personal. She did not have to include the name of the boyfriend and so on, so not that personal. She really considered it. How shopping for bigger clothing or should she say more comfortable clothing was a pain, if you wanted something that still looked cute and did not scream pregnant in your face. She was even training to get used to pants. "Hmm if only I had a chocolate milkshake." She mused to herself as she looked out of the window and the setting sun, that coloured the sky a bright red, with pink. MADE BY VEL OF GS |

Miku had a great time with her family. Granted on her way to the house she had to look over her shoulder every 5 minutes. Even though she met with Thunder to make his spy goons back off of her, she still would have the unsettling feelin that she was being watched. When she'd go here, she'd take extra measures to lose everyone and everything on her way here. She hoped it was good enough
The dinner was lovely, Hana was really truly the best cook ever. Miku then went to Hana and asked her
"Hey there... do you need help with anything?"
She was sure Hana already did the dishes, but Miku felt the urge to help Hana with anything else that she might need. Miku had no idea where G and Haruuhi were. Miku is just now realizing how absurdly big this house is. Before it was a mess that Miku really couldnt tell. Now its all tidy and well lit that Miku could still be in such shock and awe.
Now, even if Miku couldnt help Hana with chores, she would at least try to hang out with her. She really wanted that from her possible future mother

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away Hanako was looking outside, her glass on the table in front of her as she took herself to the lounge part of the kitchen. The kitchen was way too big but she did not mind, she wondered how much the costs of this house was or how it worked with the mortgage and how G seemed to manage all that or was that already finished in payment, they surely should look at insurance once they finished redecorating everything, but well it was mostly done, Hanako only considered new furniture for a few things or more furniture for that matter. While just simply clearing her mind, ordering everything as if it was second nature and staring outside to the sun setting, she wondered about too many things without really thinking and turned her head back to Miku. She had not heard the girl come back to the kitchen and smiled softly at the blonde girl. She gave her a questioned look when Miku asked if she needed help with anything. "Oh, no I finished everything just a few seconds ago." She smiled, maybe it was all going better than she thought. "Shall I get you a drink?" She only had her own glass of water but maybe they could try and make something fun, like a smoothie or you know a homemade chocolate milkshake. They must have ice cream and milk and chocolate in the house. She would scoot to the edge of the couch and depending on Miku her answer might get up but else she would remain seated. If she would not want anything to drink, Hanako would pet the couch next to her inviting Miku to come to sit with her. She wanted to talk to her, in general, to bond, get to know her better. "I am so glad you came." She said happily because she really considered it to be very nice to have dinner with all of them. Where to start asking questions, did she like how her room looked now? Could she talk about the sports festival or did Miku rather not think about that, so much she did not know about the girl yet. MADE BY VEL OF GS |

When Miku asked her question, Hana answered it that she already finished everything. And on top of that, it was a few SECONDS ago. Miku just missed her
"Aww" Miku said sadly, she was disappointed she couldnt help
Hana then wanted to cheer her up with a drink. But Miku shook her head
"No thanks. You just cleaned up. I dont wanna create more chores" Miku said
To that, Hana just patted the spot on the couch next to her, inviting Miku to sit over.
Miku went to her and sat down. She really wanted to lean on her and hug her. But decided not to be clingy, even if she really did want that. She then heard Hana say that she was glad Miku came. Which surprised the blonde "Y-you are?" Miku said in disbelief
Miku really wanted to hug her, she really missed someone like Hana, a real mother figure. But she had to restrain herself and not freak out Hana. Plus she was pregnant, Miku didnt want to do a sudden move that would accidentally hurt her! She wanted to do something, but really had no idea what. She never had a mother, as fas as she knew

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away The black-haired woman tilted her head slightly to the left when she noticed the disappointed look on Miku her face, she never really thought that kids her age, or well teenagers would want to help with the chores but apparently, Miku was an exception to that rule. She smiled and tried to scoot to the side to get a drink for Miku if she wanted to. "Getting you a drink is not a chore." She said but went to sit back in the middle where she sat before and patted the spot next to her so Miku could come and sit over if she wanted. As soon as Miku sat down next to her, it was like she was leaning in but decided at the first second already that what she wanted to do was a bad idea. Hanako raised her eyebrow but quickly settled to just get that disappointed look away, she thus told the girl she was so glad that she came over for dinner and stared shortly after that in her green surprised eyes. "Yes, I certainly am." She smiled, softening the look on her own face because she was surprised by Miku's reaction. She surely had noticed that the first few times they met, Miku had been rather shy around her. Muttering words Hana did not catch and thus had no idea what Miku was wondering about. There was one thing to make this all very clear with how happy Hanako could be with Miku around and she took her own hands out of her lap and wrapped them around Miku and pulled her closer, "So happy." She said softly now that she held the girl against her body and even if she was almost the same height, it only made it more fitting in the hug. She decided that if she wanted to do this correctly, she should not sit back and wait for it to happen but have an active role in trying to be there for both Miku and Haruuhi. Here she was holding herself onto step one. "Do you like your new room?" She decided to ask because they had to do a few things to make her room look like a room and to get her old drawings there, Hanako had found all sorts of picture frames so they could hang up her child paintings. "Is this okay?" She suddenly let go of Miku because that should have been her first question, maybe hugs were very uncomfortable if you did not like the person or was poked by a baby bump. Hana hugged Miku and pulled her close, that made Miku teary eyed and she hugged Hanako back, she was like the mother Miku never had. When Hana asked Miku a question, Miku quickly wiped off her tears and then answered "I do. Its really nice." she gave a brief answer, not knowing what to say. Its not like she would use the room. Well, not when she's in UA
She would however live there after she graduates UA. So, in 3 years. When Hana asked if this was ok. Miku nodded. She now wasnt sure what to think or do. Maybe if she starts her own conversation?
"H-Hey, can I ask you something? Some advice since you're an adult with... life experience" Miku started
She wanted to ask her something, but didnt want to proceed if Hana didnt want that or if she couldnt take questions now. But Miku needed crictial life advice. Stuff that Hanako experienced. But still she didnt want to rush the woman. There was always later.
"What do I talk about? I never bonded with a mother" Miku thought to herself, not knowing what to do
She wanted to hug Hana again if they didnt talk. Maybe a moment of silence was enough for them to bond

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She was glad to have the reaction of Miku as she answered her hug and she brushed Miku's beautiful hair aside. Making sure not to hurt her with it but she was adorable, she was at least glad for having Miku around. Who would have guessed that from Hanako, certainly not the woman herself. She was glad that the room on which they worked had been approved, she smiled as she looked at the girl and noticed she had little tears around her eyes, what was wrong? She looked worried at the blonde but decided not to ask, Miku would bring it up herself at some point, she was sure of that. She raised both her eyebrows as Miku remained quiet until she stuttered to ask her a question. Adult life experience, god what did that make her feel old. "Of course, anything." She said and took her glass of water and took a sip before turning her body a bit more to Miku. She was tired, her body sore but she felt amazing that Miku wanted to ask her something, advice. She was worried that there was something that would be bothering and she wasn't sure if she was the right person to talk to, did she not want to talk to Gil? Wait... who did she talk to before... Hanako thought about it, did she ever had a female to talk about? What about his previous girlfriends. She had been very distant and she had also been held very aside when he was dating the other girl. "Anything you want, dear." She pulled Miku closer again, just let her lean against her, maybe she was just tired of having to keep strong. She softly stroked Miku's hair. MADE BY VEL OF GS |

Miku was glad that Hana was taking questions. She was surprised that Hana pulled her closer. Miku got the hint and leaned a bit on her. And now it was time to ask a question
"When you have a boyfriend. You spend time together and go on dates right? But.. umm.... how long do the ... erm.. breaks... ? last? Like the time when you're not with your boyfriend. You two lived seperate from one another. How much time would you need to wait before your next date? Like... how often are dates normally?"
Miku didnt know quite how to ask the question. She hoped the absence of Akio was normal, as she hadnt spend time with Akio properly since christmas. She only had a small sparring session, but that was with G monitoring them. Actually even at christmas Akio was acting strange. He came to G's house before her... and without her. He just waltzed in as if he owned the place. Miku just didnt know what was going on, what was normal in a relationship and what wasnt. She didnt want to break up with Akio because he was her first boyfriend. She didnt know what was going on, what was the problem

She let the girl rest against her body, she was shorter than Miku which was maybe a bit frustrating but she did not mind and she hoped that Miku sat comfortably against her. When you have a boyfriend? She frowned a little, wondering what more the question would bring up. "Yes," She said when the girl asked her if that was right. Yes, even if they were living together Hanako and Gil still went on dates, and she loved that. She thought about it, breaks? What did Miku mean with that? She had no idea what she meant with breaks, you did not take breaks when you were dating unless she meant the pauses between the dates, better word than breaks because it made her feel a bit weird. "Well," She wanted to answer but she felt a bit quiet. "Your father and I." Again that word, "we tried to see each other as much as we could between work, mostly two weeks?" She wondered on, "I mean we surely got busy from time to time, with deadlines and the like, you know criminals don't go according to his schedule." Oops, maybe she should not have said that she wasn't even thinking about December as they had plenty of time spending together, "I, of course, have the luxury that if I look out of my window I basically can see him." She tried to make the conversation airy but she wasn't sure if that worked.
"Miku, dear, is there something wrong between you and Akio?" Was that why she did not want to talk to G about it because she could imagine that slightly, she did tell herself to not say told you so, because, a) she could not and b) that was what G would say. MADE BY VEL OF GS |

Miku didnt know what to make of Hana's answer. But her question helped Miku explain. As Miku nodded to Hana's question
"I havent been on a date with Akio since christmas. And I dont know if that's normal. I mean, I saw him briefly on a sparring session that dad organized. But nothing more." Miku said
She just didnt know relationship things. She hadn't seen Akio properly for months. Was he busy? He mentioned that he was busy because of the festival, but she feels it was even longer then that. Was she boring to him? Too innocent? Did they just grow apart? There was only so many times Miku and her brain could repeat I dont know. But sadly thats the only thing her mind can tell her. Miku hoped Hanako could help her give her a concrete answer.
Leaning on Hana and now hugging her, Miku felt like she finally had something that she missed. A mother, someone she could just hold like this, someone that can support and be there for her, and not be creepy about it like Meiko was. Hana was perfect, the only person she could truly call mother. Miku would call her that, but she wasnt sure if Hana would like that

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She hugged Miku closer to her, since Christmas. Christmas was almost four months ago, hallelujah that was a long time. "have you seen him? Do you guys text?" Only at the sparring session that G set up? That sounded very pathetic. "Did you ask him on a date?" Yes, Hanako liked romance very much but the fact was that this was 2073 and that meant girls could ask the boys out as well. She felt a knot in her stomach and it had nothing to do with the fact that she was pregnant. She felt very strangely betrayed by the boy. She remembered how weird it was that he showed up during Christmas, waltzed into the kitchen to cook while he was invited. She would never dare, and besides that the day before that she and Gil had cooked a lot of food to be ready for Christmas and in the end they did not even stay for dinner! She took a deep breath and let it out trying to stay calm. Goddammit Akio, she fought G for him. "Miku, what do your feelings tell you? Are you upset? Are you angry or are you done with it?" What would the answer be and what would she say about it, there were so many questions and Hanako was very afraid to give advice, it always depended on the person but how could you be busy for three and a half month if you had a girlfriend, what apocalypse was happening? What was a solid excuse, even Gil found time for her and vice versa before they lived together and she expected the busy lives of adults to be worse, they could study together, they lived almost in the same building, was it the same building? That did not matter for now. She wanted to take a sip but remained seated since Miku was leaning on her and hugging her. "I wouldn't be able to deal with that, it would already bother me after a month." She tried to make light of the situation and brushed through Miku's beautiful blonde hair again, wondering, considering. She wanted to say many things, but those things made no sense, she wanted her to pick herself, if this guy left her for so long than good luck to him but it was over, but on the other hand, what was trying to fight for a relationship if you could not even hold on to this? "I saw him in the hallways and we would text a bit at UA chat. Although, I dont like UA chat much. I liked it better when it class had their chat, it felt more close and intimate." Miku said, as she answered the first of Hana's many questions. To whch she then asked did she ask him out.
Miku thought for a bit and answered that as well "I told him I missed him. But some loser called Taylor was ruining the mood since it was UA chat. Akio did say we could go for lunch, but yeah... it didnt go anywhere because I guess a troll that is Taylor was like 'duuurrrrr whats a girl?' and stupid stuff and the whole chat started to revolve around his shenannigans. That was like nearly a month ago. February 18th. Nothing really significant happened at all"
She then asked Miku how did she feel
"I feel sad, lonely, and confused. I dont know whats normal and whats not. I dont have any experience since this is my first time dating someone" Miku said as she kept answering questions
Hana said that she wouldnt be able to deal with it for just a month. Miku just thought was Akio busy for her or did he avoid her or did he lose interest in her or did they just grow apart. She did see that he'd mention that Miku is his at UA chat if people teased him. But still... he just wasnt there.

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away Hanako frowned, U.A. chat? Really? U.A. Chat? But that meant that you had phone numbers. If she would have to use group chats to talk to G, ooh that would be a disaster to think about. More close and intimate, oh god dear Miku what a child. She was so pure and innocent, she could half now see what G was coming from, she still wasn't a hater of the other sex but well, she did not want to think too much into this it would make her sad. She kept her lips sealed and let Miku talk after her waterfall of questions, she was doing that too many times anyway. What students were going to this school really? Were they raised in the woods, yuk. She did not say anything but mildly shook her head and turned her eyes, with a worried look, back at Miku as she wanted to know what the girl thought about all this. He did not even go out with her on Valentine's? She really hoped that Miku had never heard about Saint White because she did not feel the need to explain that, but at least well, it did not matter, this was not about her, this was about Miku and that kid. Sad, lonely and confused. "Miku," She hoped to get her attention as she seemed to be a bit lost in thoughts. "I understand very well that you are sad and it makes sense that it has some sense of feeling lost and not knowing what to do." How much could you speak about love at the age of fifteen? She wasn't sure, she did not want to see it differently than her own. "I just want to start somewhere in the extreme, and it will sound patronizing but bear with me. You are only fifteen darling, there is a whole country, heck, a whole world with great boys or girls out there and that would want your attention all the time. Don't hold on to something that makes you sad. Yes, back to the point, there can be many reasons to be busy and to not see each other for a long time, your father and I had that too when we just started dating. But we found a moment to meet again, even if it is just ten minutes because it is so worth it. Going out for lunch sounded wonderful I suppose and that was enough to maybe recharge but either you have to speak to him and he gets to get his ass into gear." Okay, she clearly hung out too much with G. "Don't talk in U.A. chat, send him private messages, depending on your own feelings, you have to ask yourself if you still want to try, if it hurts you too much, I say don't. Protect yourself my sweet." She brushed her hair away and softly took a hold of Miku her chin to let her look up at her, "I don't want to see you hurt. Go out there, meet new people, make friends, don't sit back here with me on a couch to do the dishes, let me yell at you for getting home late because you had so much fun you forgot the time." She was so caught up in her act of being Miku's mom and what she wanted her mother to say to her that she kissed the girl on the forehead. "You deserve all the happiness, Miku. When Miku heard her name, she looked at Hanako. Hana, told Miku some things, plenty of things. But the most important ones were to nott alk to Akio in UA chat, to do it somewhere more private, such as PM's. Miku though wouldnt know what to type to him. But the last part simply touched Miku, to the point where she got so teary eyed that she cried tears of joy, but also sadness as she hugged Hana.
No one was this motherly or caring to her, no one was there to tell her that kind of stuff. And yet there was Hana, she wanted to be her mom! Miku didnt even know where to start what to start. This was just so overwhelming to her, that after she cried enough, she wiped her eyes and looked at Hana. She was a bit afraid to ask this. But decided to try anyway
"I... umm... well... S-sort of off topic.. But... does this mean... I can call you mom?" she asked
Considering Hana said that she didnt want Miku to sit here beside her, Hana wanted to be allowed tell at Miku because she was late at home because she had so much fun, and do other motherly like things. She didnt know if this was her cue to actually be called that

Maybe she was a bit too strict, jumping into a role that was not hers but on the other hand, she could imagine why Miku asked her if you considered how G would answer the question with something that looked like that piece of garbage, immediately break up. And even if the whole situation disappointed her, especially after meeting Akio a couple of times, she was sure that the decision should be with Miku, hence what she said. On the other hand, the girl hugged her, so she could not see that the expression was sad or happy. She was just petting her hair softly now, she had too late realized that she had kissed the girl on her forehead. Damn, maybe she was taking this role too serious now they were expecting their own child. She held her until the girl was done with crying, still thinking this was about Akio and letting him go, she was surprised when she looked up at Hana with what seemed to be not at all a very sad expression on her face. What off topic? She turned very red in her face and before she noticed it herself, tears appeared in the corner of her eyes and dropped on her cheek. "Yes-yes you can." She wanted to say it was up to her but that was basically what she asked right. Was it too fast? Probably but if Miku wanted that, who was Hanako to say no to that? It was nice if Miku was ready for that and if she wanted that, instead she should not worry about it too much. Shortly she tried to stop crying but hormones and being happy did that to her.
