Villainous Valentine [Meiko]

If at this point in time there was someone who could look inside the house and see the two lovebirds together, they would not be able to guess at a glance that the two young adults were actually villains. The two could easily pass themselves off as regular people who weren't wanted criminals. Meiko and Alaster were just like any other happy wholesome couple at that moment. Nothing in the world could trouble these two. Not when they had each other.

Looking into Meiko's eyes and hearing her answer filled Alaster with sheer joy. Why was she so wonderful? Why couldn't everyone he had interacted with prior to meeting Meiko be this kind and caring? Why was the entire world and every human in it so abhorrent and corrupt, yet this gorgeous lavender angel so beautiful and perfect? Was this fate's way of apologizing to Alaster for the horrid way it had treated him in the past? Or was it only allowing him this moment of pleasure temporarily before trying its hardest to take it away from him like every other good thing that ever happened in his life? Well whatever the case was, Alaster would gladly go through far worse to be with Meiko. And nothing, not even death, would make Alaster give up his beloved so easily. If he had to wage war on the universe itself to stay with Meiko and keep her happy and safe, then that was one war Alaster would be more than happy to fight. He didn't care who he had to hurt, maim, and kill. Anything for Meiko.

After being kissed briefly yet sweetly, Alaster watched as Meiko once again rested her pretty head on his chest and listened to her as she spoke. "I know, right? It's often all work and barely any fun. It's why moments like these are even more precious to me than they already are." Alaster kissed the top of Meiko's head and began gently running his fingers through her soft hair as he continued. "Same here. I'm a bit tempted at the thought of just sleeping right here with you. You're far more comfortable than any blanket or pillow, not to mention far more adorable." Grinning, Alaster gently lifted Meiko's head from his chest so that he could get a clear view of her gorgeous face. He then moved in to kiss her some more. He would never get tired of this.

Once Alaster had his fill, he slowly moved his lips away from Meiko's and held her in a gentle embrace. "We could take a small nap if you want. Either here or in the bed. Whichever you prefer, love. I'm content either way. Whether it's when we're awake or whilst slumbering, I'm always happiest when I'm with you." It really made no difference. There was still far more than enough time to do things before the day was over, so sleeping for a bit would be no issue. In fact, it sounded like a wonderful relaxing time! Or if Meiko wanted to save the sleeping for later and do something else with Alaster, that was fine too. As long as Meiko was feeling content, Alaster would be as well.

Aww, why was Meiko so adorable? Before she could finish her sentence, she began to doze off. It was clear that she felt sleepy. In truth, Alaster also felt tired as well. Not wanting to move Meiko and risk disturbing her beauty sleep, Alaster was content with staying on the couch. After all, it made no difference. Lying down next to her, Alaster cuddled with his sleeping beauty, stroking her cheek softly with his finger. Soon, his eyelids felt heavy and it would not be long before he too began to doze off.

"Sweet dreams, love."

Opening his eyes, Alaster suddenly found himself getting drenched on by the heavily pouring rain. Wait, where the hell was he? Where the hell was Meiko? Weren't they back at home? So how the bloody hell did he end up here? Looking around, Alaster did not recognize this place. It was dark. The clouds completely obscured the sky. Since it was pitch-black, Alaster could only assume that it was nighttime.

He was startled by the sudden strike of lightning and the incredibly loud roar of thunder, jumping up cautiously. It felt like an earthquake. Although it was only for a brief moment, the small bit of light from the lightning was enough to illuminate the area and reveal to Alaster just where he was. It was an alley in the darkest depths of Tokyo. However, it was not an area Alaster was familiar with. Where was this? And more importantly, where was his beloved?

"Meiko? Meiko?! Love, where are you?!" As Alaster called out to his angel in the loud downpour, another bolt of lightning struck. Curiously, it was at the exact same spot that the first one had hit. Alaster did not know why, he could not explain. But something did not feel right. A sense of dread and fear clung to his heart as he began to run towards the area the lightning had struck. It felt that something was wrong, or that something was going to be wrong. He did not know why, but he knew that he needed to hurry.

A third lightning strike, once again hitting exactly where the others have struck. Alaster kept bumping into the walls of the maze-like alleyway due to it being too dark to see properly. Still, that did not stop him. He needed to find Meiko. He needed to get out of here. He needed to hurry up. Although there was no real way of knowing, it felt like time was running out.

Suddenly, Alaster saw light. A pale light that cut through the darkness like a knife. As Alaster kept running, it was slowly beginning to get easier to see. Moving around the empty and mostly silent alley, Alaster began to pant from exhaustion from all the running he was doing. But he couldn't stop, not when he was so close. He decided to call out once more. "Meiko?!"

Just around the corner, Alaster saw a fourth crash of lightning. With how close it was, the accompanying thunder was almost deafening. But then came a new sound. One that felt strange and out of place. It was the sound of... crying? Puzzled, Alaster turned around the corner and finally made it to the place all four lightning bolts landed. It was a dead end. Curiously, it was now bright as day, despite the thunderclouds continuing to obscure the sky. There was no sun to be seen, no other source of light. So where was the light coming from? Now that he could see, Alaster looked around and found the source of the crying.

Four crows sobbing hysterically. They were surrounding what appeared to be a person on the floor. An immense sharp pain pierced Alaster's heart upon seeing who it was.

"MEIKO!!!!"

Ignoring the grieving crows, he ran forward, tears welling up and pouring from his eyes. No, no, no, NO! What was this? How could this have happened? Why?! But it was unmistakable. The woman was lying on her back in a pool of deep crimson blood, arms and legs spread out, her eyes staring blankly at the heavens, her entire body pale and withered, a large gaping hole where her heart would have been, the area the lightning bolts have crashed down on. It was the worst sight, painful and heartbreaking beyond imagination.

Alaster could not bear it. This... this was worse than hell. His beloved, taken away from him so abruptly. No, no this couldn't be real. It can't be! Everything had gone silent. The rain, the thunder, the mourning crows, Alaster's own sobs and screams. Everything had become deafened. As he gripped the corpse tightly, Alaster shut his eyes. He couldn't bear to watch any longer. He couldn't bear to live any longer. A life without Meiko was a life he did not want to be a part of. He would rather be dead than to suffer a lonely existence once more. He could not be alone. Not again. Never again!

Opening his eyes once more, Alaster was confused upon what he saw. He was back at home. He was on the floor in front of the couch, having fallen down whilst sleeping. A couple of heavy breaths, and immense relief began to wash over him. It was all a nightmare. None of it had happened. Oh thank god! Meiko was alive! She was alive! She was...

...Oh shit. She was being crushed in Alaster's arms, strangled in his tight hold on her.

Alaster quickly let go of Meiko. Immense shock was written all over his face as his eyes widened and his mouth was gaping open. What did he just do? What kind of idiotic psychopath almost strangled his girlfriend because of a stupid nightmare?

"I am so so sorry, Meiko! God, I'm a bloody moron!" Alaster was quick to facepalm hard at his sheer stupidity. But then seeing what he had seen earlier, Alaster quickly hugged Meiko. Obviously not anywhere near as tightly, but it was a firm hug nonetheless. That dream can never become reality! Meiko won't become a lifeless corpse! Not ever! Alaster would not allow it! He would gladly kill anyone and everyone if it meant keeping his beloved safe! Not even Death itself would be spared from Alaster's wrath! No one would be allowed to breathe if she could not. No one!

"I love you so much, Meiko. I swear, I won't ever let a terrible fate befall you, my love!" Alaster did not care that tears began to well up. He did not care if Meiko saw the pained expression on his face. Right now, Alaster wasn't the psychotic and bloodthirsty demon Crowley. Right now, he was just the man who loved his beautiful angel and wanted to do anything he could to protect her.

It was ridiculous! Alaster could not believe that he got so worked up over a bloody nightmare. It wasn't real! And it never will be. It had better not be! Just the thought of anything happening to his beloved Meiko was too much for the man to bear. This was why he needed to get stronger. So that he could protect his angel. So that he could destroy anyone who dared threaten her.

"I really am such a fool. Please forgive me, Meiko." In her warm sweet embrace, Alaster was already beginning to calm down. He even chuckled a bit at his own silliness. "Just look at me, supposedly one of the most dangerous people in all of Japan, getting frightened like a small child because of what I saw in a stupid dream. How bloody ridiculous!" He of course was unwilling to tell Meiko exactly just what it was he saw. There was no need to drag down the mood any more. Only happy thoughts from now on! Speaking of happy, Alaster leaned in to kiss Meiko. Kissing her always felt relaxing.

Suddenly, Alaster's stomach began to rumble a bit. Letting go of Meiko, Alaster took out his phone to check the time. He was surprised by how much time had passed. Were the two really asleep for that long? "I can't believe it's the middle of the afternoon already! That was a longer nap than I thought! I could honestly go for some lunch right now. How about you, love?" Alaster did not care if Meiko wanted to be the one to make their meal this time, if she preferred Alaster being the one to cook again, or if she was in the mood to order something and wait for the delivery. It ultimately made no difference to him. Alaster wanted something to eat, and he was not feeling picky at the moment. He would be satisfied with anything as long as Meiko got what she wanted.

"So what are you in the mood for, my love?"

NOTES Lunch time!

Quick and simple to make, huh? Sure, Alaster could do that. "Of course, love. Just wait at the table. I won't take too long." With that, Alaster headed to the kitchen to see the options. He could make a simple ham and cheese sandwich, but that was just boring and generic. He wanted something a bit more satisfying.

At first, things were not looking too good. Almost everything Alaster saw was either too bland and boring (Meiko deserved only the best, after all), or it would take too long to make. Thankfully, it did not take too long to find an adequate solution. After checking the freezer, Alaster found some frozen chicken patties. He also found a bag of hamburger buns on top of the fridge. Far from perfect, but it was good enough!

Alaster placed the chicken patties on top of a plate, making sure the plate was cleaned first. Then, he placed the plate and patties inside the microwave and began to input the correct time so that the food would be properly heated. Alaster may not be a chef, but he could follow instructions on a cardboard box, so there was no worry of screwing this up.

It was funny how the man who loved birds was making a chicken sandwich not just for Meiko, but for himself as well. In the past, Alaster tried his best to ban himself from eating anything bird related. That meant no chicken, no turkey, no eggs, etc. However, this proved to be unfeasible for two reasons. First, Alaster's father and stepmother would often neglect to feed the boy at all, which meant that he had to take what he could get so as to not just starve to death. Beggars can't be choosers, after all. Second, even if he did stop himself from eating bird related food, that would not stop the cruel slaughter and mistreatment of the poor birds themselves. So why should he deny himself that pleasure when others did not? Alaster did see all humans as vile corrupt monsters. He was no exception to that.

Once the chicken patties finished cooking, Alaster took the plate out of the microwave. On a separate plate, he put in the hamburger buns. Carefully moving the chicken patties to the buns whilst trying to not burn himself with the hot patties, Alaster then went to the fridge for the final touches. Sure he could just call the chicken sandwich done right here, but why settle for the bare essentials? Taking out the mayonnaise, the lettuce, and a clean knife from the drawer, Alaster went to work. He spread a tiny bit of mayo on each chicken patty, and then added some lettuce on top. He then put the bread on top. The chicken sandwiches were now ready!

Of course, Alaster would not forget the drinks either. Quickly popping out of the kitchen, Alaster asked, "Meiko, what do you want to drink?" Once he heard the answer, Alaster would smile, nod, and assure Meiko that lunch was almost done. Going back in the kitchen, Alaster opened the fridge, took out a jug of iced tea and whatever it was that Meiko wanted to drink. Taking out two clean cups, Alaster poured the drinks in the two cups before putting them away. Once that was finished, Alaster grabbed the plate of chicken sandwiches and the two cups, putting them on a tray that he would then carry to the dining room and set on the table.

Alaster then sat down on a chair next to Meiko and smiled as he looked at his beloved. "Enjoy!"

NOTES Bon appetit! It was hard to think of something good, so I instead went with something simple

After hearing what Meiko wanted to drink, Alaster checked the fridge. Both options were available. A bottle of Epsi soda and a bottle of apple juice. Were they for Alaster to pick from for himself, he would not really care. But for Meiko, he decided to go with the healthier option. After all, even if everyone was fated to die eventually, that did not mean that it was okay to just accelerate to that point. Alaster wanted the best for his love, so it was out with the soda. Apple juice it is!

With the food and drinks ready and brought to the table, it was time to enjoy! Taking a bite of the chicken sandwich, Alaster was pleased that it tasted fine. There was no need to go out and eat at a fancy restaurant. This was just fine. As long as he was with Meiko, and as long as she was having a good time, then all was perfectly fine.

As Alaster took a sip of his iced tea, he began to wonder what he and Meiko could talk about. They could just eat in silence, but that was no fun. As Alaster began to think of ideas, there was one that came to mind. One that the two had only briefly covered in the past, but have not gotten too much into detail about.

"So Meiko," Alaster waited until he was done chewing his food before talking. He was not a ill-mannered brute, after all. "I know this is completely out of the blue, but I was just wondering for a while now. What are your thoughts on kids?" Alaster made sure to clarify so it wouldn't sound like he just wanted to force her to have his babies. He was thirsty, but not in that sense. A quick sip of iced tea later, and Alaster continued. "I'm not necessarily talking about having any right now. I was just curious on your thoughts on them." He then smiled. "I could definitely imagine you being the badass hot mum that other mothers envy."

Was this a weird thing to talk about? Was it too soon? After all, the two weren't married yet or anything. Hell, it hasn't even been a year since the two first got together! Still, Alaster was curious to listen to Meiko's thoughts on the subject. That is, if she even did want to talk about it.

NOTES A pleasant (if random) lunchtime conversation

Oh wow! Whatever reaction Alaster was expecting to hear from Meiko upon asking that question, that was not it. He was surprised that she was so casual about it. Perhaps it was not as big of a deal as he had thought. Maybe he was just overthinking things again. Whilst keeping his mind from thinking certain thoughts regarding Meiko and babies, Alaster just smiled and nodded. "Alright, love. I was just curious about your answer. I don't really like to plan anything too big ahead of time without letting you know about it. We're a team, after all!"

With Meiko being so very precious and important to Alaster, he did not want to just do something spontaneously and then just expect and force her to go along with it without question. Meiko may be submissive to Alaster, but he did not see her as a mere servant or slave (except sometimes when the two were being intimate, but that was a completely different and unrelated matter entirely). He cared about Meiko. Her opinion, thoughts, and input were all invaluable to him. Sure, the two did their own things from time to time, but ultimately, everything Alaster did was for Meiko's benefit. He just wanted what was best for his beloved.

"So you have any ideas for baby names? Maybe it might be too soon to ask such a thing, but I suppose my curiosity is just overwhelming me today." Alaster did have a few ideas of his own, but ultimately decided that Meiko should be the one to name their future child. After all, she was the one who would have to go through the torture that is childbirth. It was only right that she got the final say on the matter. "Humor me. What name would you pick for our daughter or son? And if you had the choice, which would you rather have?" Not that it would matter too much, as Alaster knew that Meiko would love their child either way. So would he, for that matter. Boy, girl, it didn't matter. Alaster would love them just the same.

Finally, Alaster was finished with his food. He took his empty plate and cup, took Meiko's plate and cup if she was finished, and took them to the kitchen sink to wash. He was not the kind of person to really let the dishes accumulate too much, preferring to clean them right away to get out of having to do that as soon as possible.

Once that was done, it was time to figure out what to do next. Alaster wasn't sure what he wanted to do right now. He could watch TV, he could lie down on the couch, he could go on the internet and browse through the hilarious memes, he could grab Meiko and take her to the bedroom for naughty things. So many possibilities! Alaster then made his choice. He went over to the couch, sat down, and beckoned Meiko to come join him. If she did, she would find that he was in the mood for some wholesome cuddling.

Names really were difficult to think of, though he did like her suggestion of Harry as their child's name if he was a boy. But what would their baby girl be named if they had one? Maybe something like Lilith or Violet? Alaster could not blame Meiko for not being able to think of a baby name so easily. After all, his question was rather spontaneous. It was not like she had years to think of the matter. Maybe it was too soon to think about such things. Oh well. It made no difference whether Meiko became pregnant tomorrow, in a couple of months or years, in a decade or two, or even not at all. The family that the two would make together, regardless of its actual size and number, would be one Alaster would cherish with all his heart forever.

After Meiko brushed her teeth (and Alaster followed suit), it was time to sit down on the couch and relax. Once Meiko came and sat next to him, it was cuddle time! Holding her closely, Alaster closed his eyes and softly sighed in contentment. If things were up to him, he would never let go of his dear Meiko. She was just so wonderful! Everything about Meiko pleased Alaster. Her gorgeous eyes, soft silky hair, perfectly warm and smooth skin, angelic voice, beautiful personality, and especially her soft lips. Speaking of those, Alaster moved his in close to meet with hers. Now this was heaven!

For over a minute, Alaster would kiss his lavender angel, pulling away only to catch a breath just to move back in and kiss her some more. Forget calming music, videos of adorable pets, or anything else that was relaxing. Meiko was what kept him at ease. Meiko was the one who gave him peace, who made him feel relaxed, no matter how much stress life throws his way. As the seconds rolled on by, the kiss became more intense and passionate.

Once he had his fill, Alaster smiled and blushed as he slowly pulled away. He then wrapped an arm around Meiko and resumed their cuddling, speaking to his love in the meantime. "Tomorrow, let's go out and do something wild together. Just completely crazy. Drive above the speed limit, pick a fight with some idiots, rob some stores, torture some pricks, and kill a few. Hell, maybe we could do all of that! But that's for tomorrow. For the rest of today, I just want to be with you. Just stay all cozy at home in each other's arms. I love you Meiko, far more than words could ever come close to doing justice." There was nothing else that came close to making Alaster this happy. Meiko was the light to his dark world. She was the angel who blessed his life, the one he would do anything to protect, kill anyone to keep happy. Meiko completed Alaster. She was his everything.

"Hey Meiko..." Suddenly, Alaster began to smirk. "With how captivating your beauty truly is, I can't help but feel a bit lightheaded. My head's so fuzzy that I seem to be feeling a bit forgetful right now. I could use your help jogging certain memories I seem to be struggling to remember clearly." He then leaned in close to her ear and whispered, grinning as he did so. "Could you remind me what that whip of yours looks like? And how it looks like when you pull it out?" It would not be difficult at all for Meiko to understand Alaster's intentions.

The day was far from over, but there was one thing that was very clear even before the day was done. This was the greatest Valentine's Day Alaster has ever had. He hoped that all the ones to follow would be equally as amazing. Then again, there was nothing to worry about there. Alaster knew that as long as Meiko was by his side, every day would be one filled with immense joy, pleasure, and love.
