Post by Hino Yojin on Jan 19, 2019 19:04:46 GMT -4
Yojin had front row seats to watch the small army Lightning Strike had brought lose. There wasn’t a kind way to put it. He tracked his camera from battle to battle, fight to fight, still sitting on his moped, idling across the street, outside the hole in the wall that used to be the main door. If you only looked at the pairings, it looked mostly even. But the big, blond-haired bastard that Yojin recognized from the news as the man himself--Thundershock--was hanging back, hovering over Haruuhi in the dead fucking center of the room. The moment a battle turned against the Yakuza, he could just jump in, and G-fucking-G.
And of course, the bigger problem is that Strike had gotten intercepted. Meaning they couldn’t change the plan to “grab Haruuhi and go.”
Well, this was going to be a great photo album to see exactly what part of the armor he’d made broke first.
Come on. Be smart. It’s over. You see that. Haruuhi looks like shit. Did you even check if she’s alive?
Of course they hadn’t. It was about revenge now. Christ. And now Nimue was in it too. UA was going to have two deaths at this rate.
Fuck. He never should have come. Now he had to choose--leave, or stay and watch until they died?
Or…
He didn’t know Haruuhi. They’d spoken once. In a chat-room.
Or…
He had no more than three months of martial arts training under his belt.
Or… He’d promised Chimera he wasn’t going to get involved.
Yojin’s hands were were shaking so badly everything through the camera was too blurry to see. He was frozen in fear, an icy pit in the bottom of his stomach.
"Do want to get yourself and others killed because of your own lack of thought?"
There never was a right answer.
Yojin shoved the camera back in its case, squared his shoulders, sweat beading on his forehead. His hands hadn’t stopped shaking, and all he could think of were the pictures Bucket had put in UA chat. The fear. Like Semper Fi. That was going to be him. Another picture for the school to gawk at. This was a job for the heroes. For someone else.
But there was no one else. Just him.
He reached down, messing with the fuel system of his bike, then picked a course, pointing the front wheel toward the hole in the wall, right past Nimue, the bug-guy, and Bucket’s fight. At Thundershock.
He closed his eyes, and gunned the throttle, rocketing forward with a sudden roar as the modded engine flared to life. Smoke plumed from the back of the bike, a thick, choking cloud. He’d broken one the oil lines--so it would drip onto the engine, and burn.
Right as the bike passed through the hole in the door, Yojin jumped to the side. The bike kept going forward--in a second it would either hit Thundershock, or crash into the back wall of crates. That wasn’t the important part, though. The important part was the bike left a fog of smoke in its wake, hiding vision of the entrance.
The ground slammed into Yojin with the force of a car crash, and he slid across the smooth concrete floor, eyes filling with tears as the air whooshed out of his lungs. A second later, he came to an abrupt, painful stop against another crate, one of the large jumble that had been knocked over by the Bucket and bug man’s brawl. Hopefully, he was out of site, between the darkness in the room, and the smoke.
He lay there for a second, panting for breath.
Sorry, Mom and Dad. Sorry, Chimera. I got involved.
TLDR: Yojin turns his bike into a smoke grenade, driving it through the door aimed at Thunder, and past G, Bucket, and Nimue. As it goes through the door, he jumps off, rolling behind the crates that were part of Bucket's trap, and tries to hide in the smoke and shadows.

If I fall back downyou're gonna help me back ---up again* Don't worry about me, I'm gonna make it alright Got my enemies crossed out in my sight I take a bad situation gonna make it right In the shadows of darkness I stand in the light You see it's our style to keep it true I've had a bad year, a lot to go through I've been knocked out, beat down, black and blue She's not the one coming back for you She's not the one coming back for you* He'd been a villain once, too. He got it. When somebody got in your business, screwed with what you fought tooth and nail to achieve, you took whatever low blow you could to get back at them. There wasn't honor to it but it was efficient. But Kazuhiro Kurosawa wasn't a villain anymore. He'd seen past the 'efficiency' and even the twisted fun of getting to your enemies through dirty means, and saw how fucked up the whole thing really was. It didn't matter if it worked. It was wrong. Simple. So taking out your anger for one guy by kidnapping his kid, beating her within an inch of her life, and then luring him out of the woodwork by sending him pictures of it? Absolutely something he could have seen himself or his fellows doing years ago. Nowadays, though, he was ready to fill the fuckers with lead for it. The kid was innocent. She was a hero in training trying to make the world better. Sure, her father was involved with some bad shit--apparently, what little Yellow Jacket had told the rest of the staff about their personal matters left things pretty vague--but she had nothing to do with it. Yet here they were, and there she was, and here they went. Arriving at the location Yellow Jacket had blasted to the hero channel, it looked like the party was already underway. A hole had been blown into one side of the building and shouts, explosions, and other friendly noises could be heard from within. It would be moronic to go in that way on the tail-end of whatever mess of vigilantes had shown up to help their "ally". No, he needed a different way in. He went around the far side from the crashed-in wall and looked up at the windows overhead. They probably had somebody watching those, but if they thought the whole cavalry had already come... Behind his frightening mask, Kazuhiro smirked, and positioned himself at a good angle to the morning sun--perfect for him, with the early winter sunrise. His shadow began to move. It shuddered, then stretched out in front of him like a trail before it reached as long as it could go, right on the little concrete edge of the window. Enough room for a person to stand on. From there the shadow grew. No longer simply a trail of black, it became its own humanoid figure, shaped like the man it was attached to down to the last scruff of his armored cloak. It looked into the window, then back down at Geist, and nodded its head. " Alright then," he chuckled, voice low and rough, and he cracked his knuckled beneath his steel-tipped gloves. With a step forward the world shifted, black shadow pooling around him for a moment before it dispersed, and his location had changed. He now stood on the ledge in place of his shadow, looking into the window. He could make out the chaos from here, and at this angle still be unseen. There was the man of the hour, the so-called Bucket and his stupid looking mask. Was it a mask? Eh. It made him almost sorry for the bastard. He was fighting some asshole and a giant bug and--Christ, Nurse, was this the fight you really wanted in on?--Witch Doctor. At least he was distracted. Thunder Shock stood not behind him, next to the innocent girl dragged into all of this. She looked like a corpse. She might really be dead. Geist's grin turned cold, teeth bared and bloodthirsty. Nobody touched his students. He needed the right moment to jump in. Just then, a second later, something skid into the factory from the hole in the wall. A bike? He hesitated to call it that. Whatever it was, though, it left a trail of thick black smoke behind it. The cover and confusion it caused was absolutely perfect for his entrance. Thanks, crazy fuckers. The window exploded. Shards of glass fell to the ground with a series of crashes and crackles, and in the place it once was was Geist, boot extended--he'd kicked it in because he goddamned could--then lowered with a pleasantly heavy THUD onto the concrete. From above the rising sun ringed him, silhouetting his form to those inside the factory. He placed his clawed gloves on the bricks to either side of him, leaned himself back... ...paused to press the button on the stereo strapped to his chest... " Ready for the REAL party, pretty boy?" ...and with a lunge and the leverage of the way, leaped down from the window directly towards Thunder Shock's big spiky blonde head, his shadow pulled along behind him, mimicking the jump. With his eyes set on the head of the operation, Geist was blind to the sniper hiding in the rafters behind him. But without him dodging forward into the smoke or a good shot from the hidden Corvus, Thunder was about to meet the business end of a very angry, very dangerous, and very, very excited Geist's boot. -- ENTER GEIST!Quirk: Living Shadow - Rank B - Shadow companion, strong as Steel. Alaster continued to keep watch of everyone in the room. So many potential targets to take out and allies to help out. Who to assist? Who to injure or kill?
He noticed someone moving towards Meiko. Alaster was considering aiming at and shooting Yuri, but ultimately decided that it was unnecessary. Meiko was strong. Alaster had faith in her abilities and knew that she was more than capable of defeating her opponent. There was no need to worry. Still, if Meiko began having problems with her opponent and Alaster was not busy, then he wouldn't mind helping out his beloved.
His eyes then stared at G and Bucket. What was that metal head doing? That scumbag and his cockroach were getting hits in! Perhaps shooting him down would be prudent. Still, Alaster knew (or at least hoped) that Bucket was not going to just sit back and let G push him around. For now, Alaster would not intervene in their fight.
But then G did something that Alaster simply could not ignore. He ran towards the hostage with the intent of freeing her, taking her away, or both. As if that moron would be able to escape with the hostage that easily! Alaster then looked up and noticed the crate suspended right above the hostage. He began to grin widely. If he shot the rope holding the crate up until it broke, then it would fall on the hostage and G! Unless he summoned that overgrown cockroach of his to hold the crate up. But then that would leave the man himself defenseless and open to either Bucket's attack or Alaster's bullets! Oh, what a delightfully devilish plan!
Before he could put his plan into motion, however, Alaster was startled and surprised to see a freaking motorcycle of all things coming in from out of nowhere. As if the bike heading towards Thunder Shock wasn't bad enough (although Alaster was not worried in that regard, seeing as Thunder could probably take care of himself), the motorcycle let out lots of smoke, making the lack of visibility a problem. How would he be able to find and shoot G in all this smoke?
Unfortunately, that was not the only surprise. The window suddenly exploded, and walking inside was yet another newcomer. Alaster was getting sick of all these bloody reinforcements coming in. With the person who brought the motorcycle in being hidden from view, there was one clear target for Alaster to aim for.
Watching the man approach Thunder Shock, Alaster aimed his gun at the newcomer and began to open fire. Even if the bullets failed to kill the man (or even hit at all), Alaster hoped that they would at least be enough to deter him from his actions, as well as distract him long enough for Thunder Shock to have time to make his own move.
Alaster moved closer to the bird cage and put his free hand on the cage door, ready to open it at a moment's notice. It seemed that pretty soon, he would have to let his crows out to join in on the fun.

He had been hit and boy, had it been pretty rough. Bucket had not managed to dodge a sudden projectile from what he thought was only a melee being and, for that, he was suffering, bleeding internally and loving it so damn much.
It hurt, he was suffering and he had been proved that G was much stronger than what he let on, that he really was someone to fear! Hell, Bucket didn't think he was strong enough to face him alone, at least not in a first match where he didn't know the full extent of his powers. Still..
This was a team thing.
And Goliath was doing the awful mistake of getting close to Bucket who, though he was fallen atop some shattered crates, was not truly dead or even blacked out. Instead, he was quietly and sneakily waiting for him to get close, to want to try that jab just so that he could teach him to never expect him to really be down. Bucket knew he did. He was big, he was strong and had been pretty direct with fighting G one on one, so obviously, he knew that G, specially not the shit-for-brains Isopod expected him to be able to do some very underhanded techniques.
He had studied Goliath's figure during their fight and, by design, he had a terrible weakness on his head, to being attacked from below: his head was pushed forward because of his very body shape, while not being one to really be the msot agile in turning or going back. So, once again, since he knew that he wouldn't get up so soon and that, if he were to be stabbed with its claw just once more, he could survive, he simply surprise sneak attacked Goliath by suddenly shooting up his fist, with the full tremendous speed his quirk could muster, a hard piece of sharp metal that was one in of those shattered crates which he sneakily grabbed under the rubble, accepting the jab hitting directly to stab the metal directly into the Isopod's head, knowing that, even if it couldn't die for being a stand creation, it still lived and suffered damage, he had seen it take damage when he slammed into its softer belly.
Bucket was taking Goliath out of the count, so that the weak human user behind him would be fully exposed. It wasn't like.. G even could break the chair or the chains that were keeping Haruuhi there..~

"Tsh" Thundershock would scoff as he found G quickly approaching both he and Haruuhi's location. The man barely paid any mind to the Kobayashi Lord, solely focused on the girl bound to her chair next to him. What a foolish man... sending his beast out to fight Bucket while he made a dash for Haruuhi. If Lightning Strike couldn't get her free, then what made him think he would do any better?
"What a pathetic attempt at a rescue. You took so damn long to get here she up and died some time ago, so is there really any point in throwing yourself at a corpse?" He taunted as his body ignited in a fierce display of electricity. Sparks turned into miniature lightning bolts that shot off of his body in waves, taking the form of a massive tiger that prowled around Thundershock himself like a living creature made of lightning. He smirked widely, about to unleash his own Beast on G before he could ever lay hands on Haruuhi.
However, the roar of a small engine was suddenly heard fast approaching him, and Thunder whipped his head sideways just in time to find it's source. An obnoxiously painted moped was flying directly towards him. Instead of stepping out of the way however, Thundershock simply lifted his left leg, slamming it roughly into the vehicle that still managed to slide him backwards from his initial position. He growled at the inanimate object as it finally stopped, though started to hiss as a thick smoke began to fill the air around him. He promptly kicked the wrecked moped away from him, leaving bits of scrap metal in his wake as he dismissed the electric tiger that now only served as a massive beacon to his location.
'He's only got 3 allies... the Heroes shouldn't know about our location yet... unless. Heh, smart girl, making sure they know exactly where to go hunh? Too bad you're going to get everyone here arrested along with me... If they can get their hands on me of course. ' Thundershock gloated silently, bringing his sleeve up to his face as a cough escaped his lips when the smoke began to fill his lungs. He couldn't see much of anything around him, having lost sight of Haruuhi and G, as well as whoever had driven that damned machine in here... What now? Did he bother trying to find Haruuhi and G? Or did he let the man have his rescue. Bucket was the one who wanted a good fight, and this whole revenge thing was for Mirai. If neither could succeed in their tasks, why put his neck out even further for them?
'It's fun' Right, this really was fun, fighting for supremacy, showing those weaker than him just who was in charge. His ego only inflated more as he remained silent in the smokescreen, though in the middle of his reverie, a sudden metallic boot collided hard into his face, sending the man flying off his feet and back quite a ways into one of the scenic props that displayed various trees and hills.
The man crashed into it so hard, the prop snapped in half from the in fact, and Thundershock found himself on his ass, a groan escaping his lips as he brought his hand up to his nose... There he felt something warm and wet, and upon inspection of his hand, found the blood that was now pouring from it.
"Who... the fuck... is this moron!? One more move towards the girl, and they're both dead! You don't think we wouldn't have some kind of backup plan do you!?" Thundershock growled loudly, jumping up to his feet with a look of pure rage on his face. He couldn't remember the last time he got blindsided so easily, nor the last time blood was drawn like this. His fight with Darkshine was something different entirely. He heard gunfire, so had a general idea where to aim, and with that his body ignited in a furious display of electricity once more, the form of the electric tiger much larger and more aggressive this time as it roared Thunder and charged towards Geists' general location from within the smokescreen.

Bucket who was thrown by Goliaths Hydro Gun remained unconscious, or so G and Goliath thought. As Goliath charged the Villain with intent to stab the man with his mighty claws, Bucket shot his hand at Goliath holding a metal item that had been previously concealed. Goliath quickly curled up in a ball to avoid the sudden attack, but because of the momentum Goliath had picked up by running, the Spirit Animal soon started to fall on Bucket like a curled up cannonball. His defensive maneuver unintentionally became an offensive one. -meanwhile- As G soon reached Haruuhi, Thunder began to taunt him. G just frowned and rolled his eyes at the man in annoyance, but soon, Thunder erupted in a visible electric current and he even made his own electric beast! G was only armed with a spear to fend for himself, which meant the odds weren’t at all in his favour. Suddenly a bike came crashing towards Thunder through the open hole in the wall. It was honestly a noble attempt but to no avail as Thunder neutralized that threat by simply raising his foot and stopping the vehicle. However, smoke suddenly started to fill the area. G didnt wanna face Thunder just then, more focused on the safety of his daughter, he instead went to free Haruuhi. He grabbed her and the chains binding her before moving to undo them. Suddenly his body tensed up as he got electrocuted and zapped with Mirai's previous electric trap. He grit his teeth tightly, holding in the groan that threatened to escape his lips as his muscled began to twitch with the current passing through him. Everything hurt, he was sore and not in a good way. And what was even worse was that now someone crashed through the window, and started playing some... really nice music? G shook his head, unsure if the lightning fried his brain and made him hear things or if there really was someone so full of it they were playing their own theme song... G didn't even bother to look who the new clown challenger was. Instead he was focused on finally undoing the chains holding Haruuhi. He slowly started untying them, while reassuring Haruuhi that everything would be okay. She looked like hell, and to say he wasn’t worried she was dead would be a lie… "Please baby, stay alive. Be alive. Daddy is here for you" he quietly told Haruuhi trying to hide the pain of being electrocuted and being faced with something out of any parents nightmares. He hoped that most of the electric current went through him and not her
TLDR: -Goliath curled up in a ball to defend himself against Bucket, but his defensive curl soon became offensive -G ignored the fuck out of Thunder -G used the cover of smoke to try and free Haruu, only to get zapped. But he continued to try and free her

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She stood near the door and if she thought it had already been busy before it was now, with the smoke screen showing up or well she had missed what item it was that came sailing in right next to her. Well from a far enough distant to not be hurt but she took a few more steps to the right to avoid getting caught into the smoke. She also had to turn around to see the spirit still fighting bucket head and the father sprinting towards Haruuhi. She should follow but Thundershock was still there and she could not do much if she was in this state of healing, she would not be able to switch to Iwayo on time. Her eyes darted from one to the next until many more things happened and with the smoke screen coming in, she decided to run for it as well. To the chair, if she was one with Nkoshi, her green eyes the proof of that. She would need to do something with that last bit of power to help Haruuhi, no matter the consequences of that. Haruuhi was the priority before anyone else, considering the wounds and pain the child must be in.
She sprinted towards Haruuhi, Nkosi ushering her on to be as fast as possible because they knew the consequences of waiting too long. She looked at the child and had no idea where to start, broken limbs, wounds anything. She touched her softly, at her shoulder, Nkosi could pick whatever, the bacteria she managed to influence with her touch would try to at least now fight away all the infections that could come, she did not need much time for that, the actual healing did cost time. But they had to hurry to get her out of here, how could they move her without making things worse? Maybe Nimue and Nkosi had to push further than they ever did before to fix this. Her right hand still holding on to the spear, but she focused her eyes on Haruuhi.

自由自在 never throw up in a welding mask.
Yojin’s whole body hurt, but he’d been ready for that. It was easier to deal with pain when he was expecting it, at least while the adrenaline was flowing. Later would be another story. He forced himself to sit up, panting for air, breathless from the fall. If someone attacked him, he was helpless right now.
Breathe.
One thing at a time.
Spots danced in front of his vision, then slowly faded as he managed to take a few good breaths. He couldn’t see anything, though--there was something in the--the fall had knocked the visor out of place. Yojin adjusted it, blinking the tears from his eyes, then slowly rose to a crouch, looking around the warehouse. It was still filled with smoke, but it was starting to disperse.
One. His moped was lying near Haruuhi, the engine choking and spluttering. But at least it was still intact.
Two. All of the Yakuza were still locked in their duels. That was good.
Three. Thunder was fighting a black-cloaked silhouette, the source of the music Yojin’s brain hadn’t quite managed to register yet. Giest. Another teacher. Yojin felt the strangest mix of relief, and utter terror seeing the combat ops professor here.
And Haruuhi--
--God fucking dammit. Of all the miserable shit fucking luck. Nimue and bug-man had broken loose their fight and were standing over Haruuhi. It looked like Nimue was trying to heal her, but she was still chained to a chair, body twisted in ways people shouldn't go. Fucking hell.
That was a wrench in his plan. The closer he got to Nimue, the more likely he was to have his cover blown.
But if he left now, he wasn’t going to get his moped back.
Yojin let out an exhausted groan, then reached into his bag, sliding out his crowbar, and holding it in his left hand. It felt better to be armed. He braced, then he broke cover, zig-zagging toward Haruuhi. His heart was racing in his chest. Any second, he expected to feel a sudden burst of electric agony. He stopped short of Haruuhi, holding up an empty hand to bugman and Nimue as he realized it would really suck to get brained by an ally. He probably didn’t look all that friendly--a small, crouched figure in a battered blue jumpsuit and welding mask, crowbar in one hand.
“With Strike.” Yojin said, trying to lower his voice, which was already muffled by the thick mask. “Watch trap. I got her.”
He pointed up at the hanging box, then stepped up to Haruuhi. He felt the back of his throat burn with nausea. Holy shit. What had they done to her? Even in the picture she hadn't looked this bad. Broken legs. Burns. The smell of blood. How long before she could walk? Would she ever be able to?
If he got caught--
No, no, no, no.
He had to stop looking before he threw up. Those fuckers. He traced a line along the chain until he spotted the lock, then knelt down. Opening it would be simple.
TL:DR Yojin runs up to G, Haruuhi, and Nimue, and starts to work on using his quirk on Haruuhi's chains.

If I fall back downyou're gonna help me back ---up again* Don't worry about me, I'm gonna make it alright Got my enemies crossed out in my sight I take a bad situation gonna make it right In the shadows of darkness I stand in the light You see it's our style to keep it true I've had a bad year, a lot to go through I've been knocked out, beat down, black and blue She's not the one coming back for you She's not the one coming back for you* The pleasant feeling of a thick skull under his boot was only somewhat more fun than the sound of bullets from somewhere high above zipping past him, missing their mark thanks to the cloud of black smoke that still filled the room. His momentum halted by Thunder Shock's ugly mug Geist came to a heavy drop on the concrete floor, the steel tips of his boots scratching along it at he pivoted in the direction he'd sent the bastard rolling. He wanted to bust his skull in but he had to show restraint. Breaking the bastard's nose was a good consolation prize. The only problem was staying in the cover of the smoke made the light of the broken window hazy and he couldn't have that. Rather than staying safe in that cover he stepped out on the other side, closer to Thunder and further from where Haruuhi and the trap above her were laid out.
"Shadow, catch the box if it falls. Keep the kid and the others safe."
His Shadow nodded, and went in the opposite direction.
So Thunder had the nerve to threaten him, and his student, after he'd been sent flying. Well. Nobody ever said the head of the criminal underground needed brains.
"What's the matter? Aren't used to seeing your own blood?" Geist chuckled with the voice of a man who had either gargled acid or smoked six packs a day. It added to the effect--along with his theme music, he liked to think--of him emerging from the smoke into Thunder Shock's line of sight. Towering, robed in black, and with spiked gloves held in fists at his side and a mask that looked to be made of bone, carved to look like an owl. "Guess what, pretty boy, there's more where that came from."
A burst of electric energy shot forth from Thunder Shock, which didn't live up to his name at all, but thankfully names meant little when the whole world knew your Quirk from public television. That it was shaped like a big cat only added to Geist's sick amusement. What a theatrical little punk...but who was he kidding. Grabbing the end of his cloak in one hand he pulled it taunt to cover his from, wrapping himself in the reinforced armor the seemingly purely cosmetic costume hid within. He felt the charge of electricity go around him. It wasn't a perfect defense, though. A Faraday cage would be needed to completely protect him from electrocution like this. But a little static shock and twitchy fingers was hardly anything compared to a full hit.
He dropped his cloak, and with as big a sigh as he could muster, raised his arms in an exaggerated shrug. "Is that all? Come on, handsome, I thought you were supposed to be the head honcho around here. I was expecting some shock and awe." Geist dropped his arms and bent at the knee, his posture suddenly no longer casual and mocking, but rather tightly-wound and ready to leap into a fight.
"Don't sweat it, I'll be nice and kick your ass real fast."
With that he charged forward, reeling his arm back for a fake-out directed right at Thunder's jaw. It changed, though, mid-throw into a grapple, and he aimed to catch any attempt to block his strike within his piercing claws and drag Thunder under his shoulder and thrown beneath him, where he'd get the right angle to bring a knee right into the Yakuza-wannabe's crotch. It wasn't the fighting style of a hero. He may be one, may see the fucked up side of all that he once considered "common place", but when it came to a good old-fashioned beat-down of some punk bitch like Thunder?
There wasn't any point fighting clean.
Geist's Shadow, in the meanwhile, suddenly appeared from the smoke right behind Haruuhi's chair, its entire figure nothing but blackness, devoid of light, but still shaped like the man it was attached to. It looked between the people gathered around Haruuhi, then upwards at the great big crate that threatened to crush, well, all of them should anyone think it necessary to snap the rope holding it up. The Shadow held up its claws, positioning itself so that if the box fell, it would land with its edges right into its upwards facing palms. It was probably very, very heavy. The Shadow was strong enough to, at the very least, shove it into a direction where there wasn't a person.
--
TL;DR
- Geist taunted Thunder a whole lot. How's it taste, bitch. - Geist managed to absorb Thunder's C-rank Quirk with his C-rank Armor. Damn it! Of course he missed his shots. Stupid bloody smoke! Fortunately, the smoke was slowly but surely beginning to disperse. It would not be long before the smoke cleared up just enough for Alaster to make out the shapes obscured by the smoke to be able to tell foe from ally. Just a few more moments....
In the meantime, Alaster was scanning the area to see if there was anyone he could either assist or shoot at. Looking at the box suspended above the hostage, Alaster wondered whether he should shoot it down now, or perhaps wait until the smoke cleared out a bit first to make sure that somebody that wasn't an ally would get crushed underneath. After all, he only had one chance to use that trap to his advantage. The last thing he wanted to do was waste it.
Alaster then checked the area where Meiko was fighting. To his surprise, he only saw one person in that general location. However, the smoke was still just thick enough for Alaster to not be able to tell who it was. However, he would not need to worry about that for long. The smoke was beginning to thin just a bit, so Alaster saw who it was that was there.
It wasn't Meiko.
Wait, where did Meiko go? What happened to his beloved? Thankfully, Alaster did not have to wait too long for an answer. A vibration from his phone made Alaster hide from sight to have a moment of peace to check the message.
LavenderBoss DM to CrazyCrow: Honey. Lets go. No need to stay here. Besides too many heroes
Alaster was conflicted. On one hand, his loyalty demanded that he stay to assist Thunder until the very end. After all, the man did all of this to help Meiko get revenge for what that asshole G and his equally shitty friends did to her, and Alaster was not the kind of person to just abandon his allies. But on the other hand, this was Meiko. Alaster wanted to keep his beloved safe from any more harm. If she believed that fleeing was the best option, then Alaster wanted to make sure that she could escape successfully. And he wanted to be able to escape with her. He owed it to Meiko never to let her down again.
Gritting his teeth and then sighing, Alaster began to type on his phone. He had made his choice.
CrazyCrow DM to LavenderBoss: If that is your wish, my love. I'll leave for you.
LavenderBoss DM to CrazyCrow: I'm outside but close. Thunders daughter was tough so I retreated before old wounds open again.
CrazyCrow DM to LavenderBoss: Alright. Stay safe.
With that, Alaster put his phone away. He needed to escape the warehouse and meet up with Meiko outside. All without getting detected. Well shit. How was he going to pull that off? Looking around, Alaster spotted a nearby window. Perhaps he could climb out from there. He just needed to make sure no one would be able to stop him. Looking around the warehouse from the rafters, Alaster spotted Thunder fighting Geist. He sighed.
Sorry, Thunder. I appreciate everything you did for Meiko. But we need to get out of here now. Still, I'll be sure to leave you a parting gift. It's the least I can do to thank you for what you've done for her.
Going over to the bird cage, Alaster opened the cage door wide open. As the crows inside began to fly out, Alaster cawed loudly, activating his quirk before any of the crows had the chance to fly very far. Seeing as that loud caw basically threw out what little sense of stealth Alaster had left, he needed to work quickly. As the eyes of all eight crows glowed in a blood red color, the mind controlled crows turned their heads to Alaster, awaiting his command. Alaster wasted no time in pointing towards Geist as he made his command.
"Attack that man!"
Obeying their master, the eight crows immediately flapped their wings and took off, flying towards Geist with the intent to attack him relentlessly. Immediately afterwards, Alaster aimed and shot three times at the rope holding the box that was hanging over Haruuhi's head. Whether the box was able to crash down on her and the others there, whether the falling box would be stopped by someone, whether the bullets were even able to break the rope at all. Alaster could not care less. After firing, he immediately turned around and headed straight to the nearest window.
Alaster hated this, all of it. He hated forcing the poor birds to succumb to his will. He hated having to leave them to fight someone who was showing to be able to hold his own against the likes of Thunder Shock. He hated leaving behind Thunder and his allies after having promised to lend a helping hand. He hated having to flee like a bloody coward. Still, Alaster had no choice. It had to be done. All of it, for Meiko. To keep her safe and ensure that the two lovebirds could flee safely together.
If no one was able to stop him, Alaster would push the window open as quickly as he could and attempt to climb out from there to make his escape. He was intent on meeting up with Meiko, no matter what!
/attempted exit
TL;DR Alaster's plan is to GTFO. But first:
Alaster cawed loudly to activate his quirk. If anyone was not aware of the masked man's presence before, they probably are now.
All eight mind controlled crows are flying towards Geist, intent on constantly attacking him until a. The crows are stopped/killed, or b. Alaster gets far away enough for the crows to escape his quirk's range, thus causing their attack to immediately cease.
Alaster shot at the rope three times with the intent to snap the rope and cause the box that was being help up by it to crash down on anyone still underneath it.
Regardless of whether or not the above move succeeded, Alaster is now trying to escape the warehouse by climbing out of the nearest window. If he succeeds, he'll try to find Meiko and leave with her.

Well, this shit turned sour way too fast, didn't it? Still, as he noticed that incredibly strong, pressurizing force of nature appear out of nowhere, something that made him not want to die in this warehouse like he planned to but, instead, want to live for another day, to suffer a deathless life just so he could have a chance to die at the hands of someone stronger, someone like that shadow man that was taunting his boss so damn well, he really could respect his artistry with words.
Speaking of which, the situation is not good.
Frowning as the balled up beast started to fall on top of him, he instead used the small minutes left of his quirk to use his hands and push him away, a good distance. Not even for damage, Bucket was beyond the point of wanting to damage the enemy anymore. He knew he was soundly defeated and that he couldn't tarry there for any longer, at the danger of not just going back to jail, but dying a shameful death at the hands of some stupid executioner. "Know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em."
It's folding time.
Not saying something or announcing what he was doing before he actually did it, he reached out his right, injured hand out and stretched out his four fingers, in two groups of two, at both Thundershock and Mirai, using his speed and the smoke to really help him out. With the chain wrapping around both of them, he launched his left hand, in better state, directly into a window, smashing it and gripping the wall outside, digging his fingers in a bit to keep himself stable, the chain struggling to bring his body back.
Suddenly, the chains around Shocky Shoo and Mirai tightened, forcefully dragging them towards him, only for Bucket himself to start getting launched directly towards the window. "WE BAILIN', BOSS!" Bucket finally announced, gritting his teeth as he actually had to loose his grip on the heavy Thundershock, only giving in when he knew that his boss could easily land on one of the rafters, the damage he had sustained being more than enough to weaken him enough. Not having the time to call out for his boss, he could only hope that the advantage he gave him was enough, instead just closing his hands when his body became actually airborne, rocketing through the air.
Should he succeed, he found himself a little afraid of dying at the hands of gravity instead of the hands of someone, he simply quietly closed his eyes, hugging the small, light Mirai against his huge torso tightly, protectively so, knowing that when he fell, he'd sustain the damage instead of her.
It was imperative that he protected the heir to his boss' empire.
Attempted Exit
---------------- TL:DR -
Bucket pushed away Goliath. Grabbed Mirai and Thundershock to try and launch himself out of the window. Had to drop Thundershock on a rafter because he couldn't hold both of them.

She remained completely still, unmoving, her eyes barely open as her mind focused on the sound of G's voice. That became harder and harder to do with every passing moment as the sounds of battle all over the warehouse broke out, making it impossible for her to hear him anymore. Her eyes started to close once more until something happened... something powerful enough t cause Haruuhi's body to stiffen once more, her eyes screwing shut forcefully as her mind was forced back into consciousness. Her heart and lungs were shocked back to full power, causing the young red head to gasp, a short scream escaping her lips as the electric trap Mirai had left behind within her own body was suddenly activated, only made worse by the chains binding her.
Well, it was a good indication that Haruuhi was actually still alive.
"Stop..." The girl barely managed to breath out, her words stuck behind the gasps and tears caused by the rush of pain now returning to her. Even Nimue's abrupt healing was only doing a little bit to alleviate any pain. While the internal infections were being healed, it did nothing to lessen the irritation to her nerves.
She wasn't any more aware of who was around her either, her mind no longer searching for G's voice, even as he spoke to her right next to her. She was in so much pain, there was only one thing on her mind now...
"Kill me... just... please... Kill me" She would breath, the same words being repeated any time she could catch her breath. Not knowing who was around her, she assumed it must just be the villains again... That's when the girl let out a sob that truly indicated t everyone around her that smething was terribly wrong... Her eyes had finally been able to focus on something... a rather massive crate coming to crash down on top of her and kill her... At least her wish was going to be granted, and she was going to die the minute it hit her...
She couldn't tolerate any more of this, and Nimue would be able to see that as her breathing and heart rate started going way too fast, indicating that she was just going right back into shock.

The lightning tiger completely swallowed up his attacker who stopped and braced fr the impact by bringing his cloak around himself. What an idiot, as if that was going to protect him from the ridiculous amount of electric power of his quirk! He just scoffed at the man as he wiped at his bleeding nose again, glaring down at his own blood before palling his hand into a fist and marching directly towards Geist.
However, as the smoke cleared and the lightning dissipated, it looked like the man was totally unfazed and that pissed the Yakuza leader even more. Just who the hell- ...
"Geist... HAH yeah that explains it, the Heroes couldn't handle it, so they had to send in their whipped dog hunh?" Thunder asked the other man as a smirk played his lips. He knew of Geist, knew him pretty well in fact even if the two of them hadn't worked together in the past. Geist was a pretty prominent villain in his younger days, one with enough power to even keep his brother and father on their toes. When he heard that the man had gone straight and even became a teacher at the Hero Highschool he's mocked the man relentlessly.
To Thunder, Geist was nothing but a joke, regardless of the amount of power he packed. He could have had everything, and yet instead he chose to have nothing. Not his problem in the end, but Geist was the kind of man that disgusted Thundershock beyond belief. What would cause someone like him to abandon everything like that?
Well, there was no point even thinking about that because quite frankly he didn't care. All that mattered right now was beating that stupid helmet into his skull. Thunder approached Geist when the Hero suddenly did the same, taunting him and then darting from his spot and approaching Thunder with a punch to his face. Well, how oddly straight forward.
Thunder brought his left hand up to block and divert Geists fist away, however as he did so the other man would grab hold of his arm and suddenly swing the bigger bigger man towards the ground. There, Geist attempted to stomp down on his junk. However, being trained in MMA, Thunder was used to grapples and fighting while downed. Thunder would sweep his legs underneath Geists as he fell in an attempt to sweep Geist off his feet, then promptly pushed himself back just enough for Geists foot to come smashing down into the ground in front of him, mere inches away from the crotch he was attempting to destroy.
Thunder could feel the cold sweat beading down the back of his neck at the sight... Geists foot had created a hell of an impact on the floor and would no doubt have broken Thunder's pelvis as a whole if that strike hit.
"Get fucked! Is there not some kind of rule you bitch Heroes have to follow about hitting someone in the nuts?!" Thunder retorted finally to Geists comment about kicking his ass quickly. Just then, Alaster released his crows on Geist and Thunder knew what he had to do in that moment, even if he didn't like it... He pushed himself up to his feet, taking a few steps back from Geist, readying a final attack before getting the fuck out there when someone beat him to the punch. Specifically, Bucket.
The man extended his hands, and then fingers to wrap around Thundershock's waist, lifting him up off of the ground and up into the rafters. Thunder didn't protest, but when he felt Bucket's grip buckle, he forcefully removed the man's chains frm around his waist, landing with a heavy thud on the rafters above. With a final glance down to the scene below, Thundershock ould fire off what looked like a sharp blade of lightning towards the gathered group of Heroes and Vigilantes trying to free Haruuhi. He didn't particularly care if it hit, but it was an added distraction which allowed him to jump out the open window Bucket leaped out of moments before.
If no one interrupted his escape, Thunder would have everyone book it towards the various escape points he had set up before all of this happened. Even though the villains lost, his point to G had been made.
You don't fuck with the Kobayashi, or those that work for them.

As G heard Haruuhi's short scream, he quickly let go. He was scared to do anything. She barely said the word Stop. Which is what G did. He didnt dare touch her anymore as he hoped now a more properly trained person would come and undo all of this. And sure enough the Pro Hero that G didnt know, came to Haruuhi and started healing her. That was all well and good but they needed to get her out of there. Was she safe to touch? G didnt get to think that much as he heard Haruuhi's next words "Kill me... just... please... Kill me" She was in so much pain that she was begging for death and it was all his fault. He sprung the electro shock trap without thinking. He was so focused on Haruuhi that he did not notice a boy with a crowbar. When G finally noticed him, he pointed Meiko's spear at him. But then the boy said that he was with Strike. It took G a couple of seconds to register that the boy meant LightningStrike, to which G lowered the weapon. But then soon a shadow showed up? G didnt know what to think at this point, but figured that the professionals knew what to do. He turned his head to see the Villains, to just catch that they were fleeing. Since G was bad at first aid or rescuing, he used the skills he was good at. Fighting. Seeing Bucket, Mirai and Thunder flee, G yelled "COME BACK YOU TOOL!!!!" and threw Meiko's spear at Bucket as if it was a javelin. It didnt matter if it hit or now. Well, G hoped he'd get a one last hit in before they fled, considering their lil goodbye gift. This here today was an exchange of messages between G and Thunder. If Thunders message was not to fuck with him and his pawns. G's message was even more simple.
You can't beat me
G then saw Goliath and called him to his side, before turning back to Haruuhi and trying to figure out a way to free her and quickly get her to a hospital "Dont die. Dont die. Dont die" G mentally chanted during this whole time now TLDR: -G lets Nimue heal Haruuhi -G sees Yojin, points a spear at him. But the misunderstanding was soon cleared and G allowed him to help Haruuhi if he can -G throws the spear at Bucket, not particularly aimed at a specific spot. Just at Bucket in general -Lets the pros untie and save Haruuhi -Didnt adress the box trap above as he's too preoccupied with Haruuhi staying alive to even notice the box

Post by Nimue Nakahara on Jan 26, 2019 10:57:41 GMT -4
Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse It asked a lot of her strength to be able to stand upright and keep healing Haruuhi. She felt so much at that moment because she was pushing Nkoshi to go on. Their time was up, she would have to rest but the nurse refused to stop doing what her original plan was when she came here. She had to do something and she stared with big green eyes at the girl when she asked to let it stop and in the end to kill her. Her breathing went too quickly and Nimue dropped the spear without much further ado and took Haruuhi her wrist with her right hand, to firmly find the pulse of a heartbeat. She had wanted to do that sooner but the first part was to work on fighting off bacteria, the second would be this and pushing herself past her own limit to start the healing process.
She felt herself sway on her legs but not too much to show it to others. She noticed another one but did not break her own concentration to stop healing and stop trying to get input. "She needs to be out, now!" What were they doing she eyed the well she guessed it was a boy but with the mask she was unsure, "She needs to be out of this chair as fast and careful as possible, she is going in shock." And that meant she had to be on her back and actually have her feet upright and other ways but that was not possible with all the broken limbs and by God why was she not strong enough with Nkosi to fix that! She looked up shortly when she noticed that she had not thought about the trap but Geist was here or well his shadow and she vaguely recognized him and his voice from before, after all, they were colleagues. She wanted to turn to G but the power of Nkosi was fading and fighting her now too instead of only focusing on healing. Nkosi was the best for this if it was Uphondu she would be in trouble even more. She felt a crack in her skin, which hurt a lot but she just bit her tongue to not yelp out, it would only be a small one, nothing she could not handle. The blood trickled from her forehead into her right eye but her eyelashes managed to get them out.
She heard the father, calling out for the spirit, that's what she still named it and something snapped in her as she realized what they should have done immediately when they got the chance. "Call an ambulance." Her eyes, one representing her spirit; fighting on to heal, one representing her own amber colour stared at the man shortly. "Call an ambulance, now." She wanted to be nice and kind but she could not, this man was the only one not doing anything that was of utmost importance apart from being a support for the girl and he could do that while being on the phone!
If they managed to get the chains loose, she would need the help of both Yojin (albeit unknown to her it was him) and G to move her as careful as possible and as straight as possible without letting go to be able to continue healing. They would have to move her on a flat piece of ground. She should not let go with both of her hands and made sure she kept in contact with one of them all the time. She took off her own long red jacket to cover Haruuhi to keep her a bit warmer but this winter weather and everything did not work very well. The ambulance had to hurry because she could not do what she wanted to do and because Nkosi started to fight her she was afraid she would not manage in time to fix everything she wanted. She needed to work on the broken bones but she had... only her own spear. She had been very unprepared for this. How stupid!
~ TLDR: Nim focus on helping Haruuhi, notices Yojin and Geist way too late. Orders Yojin to hurry and help to carry her when possible to move her. Orders G to call an ambulance immediately and help again when they can lift her out of the chair away from the trap and flat on the ground because there is no other option. She is on post 2 on healing and pushing her transformation quirk too much which made a cut on her forehead which started bleeding. Her right eye shows her own amber coloured eye and the left is green, showing Nkosi (healing) is still happening. Deep wounds should be healed by now.
