Halloween, a festival of scares and misadventures. To be honest, Elise wasn't the most fond of this holiday because she was weak to horror. Jumpscares and the like were doable, but once grotesque sights started to show themselves the burgundy-haired lass found herself getting squirmish. In the first place, she only watched such movies to have an excuse to cuddle up and cling to Tetsuko! So, with today being the first day of this 'Halloween' festival Elise had decided that it wouldn't necessarily hurt to participate in the festivities. Gods knew she needed some distraction from the recent events. It was for that reason she had planned to explore the avenues, figuring out the perfect spots for her to take Tetsuko to the next day. However, little did Elise von Eisenberg know just how eventful the first evening would be, or how much she would be reminded of the origins of her family.
It all began while she was exploring the various stalls around the plaza, and if she was entirely honest? She was pretty impressed with the new mayor his efforts to turn this into a festival! Various vendors were peddling their wares, one, in particular, had seemingly decided to exploit the rise of the hero society to commercialize it. There were some masks which all carried the same trademark of a large red horn, although she could overhear some crazed fan talking about how the lack of a deep scar which showed a bright yellow was enough to make it a phony fabrication of the real deal.
However, little did it pale in comparison to the giant fancy booth which was selling booster packs of a certain trading card-game, plushies, prints, even body-pillows of a certain hero who had made quite a display in the media recently during the events at Tokyo's Hospital, yet briefly stopping by she could spot a guy crying tears of joy as he was waving some card in the air. "A limited edition of Darkshine's Halloween version? Better stash that one away before a certain guy hears you. Gods know that he might be making ghosts and zombies the least of your worries then..."
Then again, it really amused her to see all this crazed excitement, even if she briefly felt her mood darken at the memory of the fact Thunder Shock was still alive because of the flaws in the laws and the nature of hero society. It made her think and wonder if things were truly right the way they were currently, but her thoughts were quickly drawn away by the sound of a woman's scream. A pickpocket had just snatched her purse and started to run away. Surely nothing unordinary during a festival, after all thefts could happen anywhere, especially in places with a lot of people. People might had wondered what she was doing, just walking past the panicking woman who was calling for help, a cry that nobody seemed to be answering.
It wasn't her business, was the first thought Elise had in mind, surely a pro-hero would be at the scene soon, or the police would intervene. However, a softer sobbing voice drew her attention as she watched a child cling to the woman's arm. "Mama... where are they taking Bearrie?" It seemed that tragedy had it that the child's plushie was stashed inside the large purse, or rather it was one of those arm-bag type of things. It made Elise briefly pause as she thought about it again.
It wasn't her place to interfere, using her Quirk and stopping the thief could possibly get her into troubles, it was best to leave this to a professional. But then she felt a wave of nostalgia overcome her.
And yet you still want to do something. That is, Elise, the surest mark of strength in a person.
She could recall Touma's words resound in the back of her mind. Although she wanted to do something, it was not her place to act... However, it was at that moment she recalled a conversation with her father about her decision to enroll into the hero academy when she asked him a most peculiar question: What makes someone a hero?
Isn't that the willingness to meddle into someone's problems in order to help them?
She couldn't help but find herself gritting her teeth as her body started to break out into a run and she called out to the pair. "I'll get your stuff back!" Yes, when had it ever stopped her from meddling into someone's problems because it was not her business? It never had stopped her, it didn't stop her from wanting to help Rin, it didn't stop her now either from chasing that thief.
However, the man was fast, and he seemingly was able to easier navigate the crowds than the burgundy-haired lass who kept bumping into people as she chased after him. "Shit, I'm about to lose him..." The girl mumbled under her breath. For a moment the thought of giving up emerged in her thoughts, yet it was in that instant that the lass remembered the tearful look in the child's face and mumbled in frustration. "Ugg, I'm too much of a softie..." With a sudden jump the girl focused her senses, feeling the beating of her heart, the soft pumping of her core and then...
Splash! A series of gasps came from amidst the crowds as the burgundy-haired lass seemingly expelled a small sphere of some sort of fluid around her, her body shrinking into a small blob-like figure that started to rapidly bounce between the feet of the crowd. One moment she bounced underneath someone, then over another person and with an unnatural sense of acrobatics and speed the transformed lass quickly advanced upon the fleeing thief, who was oblivious he was still being pursued till it was too late.
To the crowds it must have been odd seen the blob suddenly advance toward the thief, bouncing underneath him with a remarkable well-placed landing and suddenly bounce upwards, grasping the bag he had stolen and landed a few steps behind before him.
Seemingly bouncing a few times with the bag carefully held above her body the slime girl hummed softly. "Lost something that isn't yours?" The thief, of course, was furious, dashing toward her but Elise's sheer speed made her easily above to bounce over him and land a few steps behind him. "Oh boy, seems we got a guy with a temper~"
Bounce bounce bounce. Still bouncing on the spot as the guy turned around it was clear a crowd had gathered, and the guy didn't seem to intend to leave with his goods. "Odd, I half expected you to leave before the cops show up, wow no wonder... this bag is heavy enough, what in the world did that woman carry with her, a gold bar?" Musing absently the girl watched the thief rush back at her, making Elise suddenly slip underneath his legs again and mold her body into her humanoid shape.
"Oooy~ Any pro-hero or officer around? I could use some help arresting this thief~ I'm not exactly the type to manhandle others-" However before she finished speaking the man flung a fist at her head, making Elise yelp as she quickly crouched her body downwards, bits of slime splashing upwards. "OOY! at least let me finish speaking before you try to punch me!"
Bounce bounce bounce, bouncing out of the thief's reach she mumbled softly. "So~ Anyone? Ugg Kobayashi-sensei, this is why you should let me carry my gun outside of our lessons, I'm not meant for those physical exercises known as punching criminals into submission..."

Mia had always loved Halloween, even if it was a very difficult holiday for her to properly partake in. While no costume was likely to leave someone completely unrecognizeable, her sizeable horn meant she had limited costume opportunities to begin with. Dracula didn’t have a horn, most werewolves didn’t unless you got really deep into old timey lore, and definitely no mummies. What kinda guy would be buried with a horn embedded in his forehead? Regardless, while Christmas with her family was fun and all, Halloween was definitely her favorite holiday, seeing everyone dress up, have some raucous fun, some sexier numbers Mia definitely got distracted by as she walked through the plaza, and, in Japan of all places, items representing herself. Heading over to one of the stalls selling masks of yours truly, she couldn’t help but scoff a little in disbelief. Sure back in America anyone could have a costume made of them. There were even ‘sexy’ versions of mundane pseudo celebrities, like the guy who did the funny nears back in the 2010s. Jon something. Whatever the case, seeing actual costumes of herself clearly being peddled as such, Mia briefly considered it was just the Japanese Oni mask, but the fact the guy running he stall was selling blonde wigs and cufflinks with them…well yeah. That was a pretty obvious sell.
As she heard the nerd piping up about the lack of yellow scar Mia scoffed a little harder. Yeah that was a little innacurate, but she didn’t mind. The mere fact she was popular enough to try and make a quick buck off of had Mia enjoying the sentiment all the same. Heck she even joined in a little, standing over the back of the arguing nerd and raising her hand. “Actually the cuff links are out of date too. Red horn’s first prototype costume. She still ain’t decided if she’s gonna stick with ‘em in the final design.~” Mia smirked wide as everyone turned round to look at her. She’d gone for cosplaying as one of her favorite characters from an old anime on her day out, and luckily it incorporated some of the design elements of her latest hero costume anyway. Roomy, torn bottom pants, a tube top made out of bandages, a flowing red cape with a certain insignia on it and a high collar, and red pointed shades resting on her eyes, pulling them up over her horn and resting them atop that in her hair. “Hey there.~
The crowd wanting to buy red horn costumes instantly gathered around the true red horn, leading Mia to have a proud grin as she enjoyed everyone’s attention. A few instantly begun asking what she was doing here, if she was out on patrol or anything of the like, but she waved them all down. “Nah guys I’m just enjoying the Halloween season. Gotta revel in it before Christmas takes over right?” She still offered a few passing answers to some fanboy / fangirling questions, but when they were asking her to sign the masks they’d bought (some even cleverly asking her to do it in yellow marker where the scar should be) she waved them down and shook her head. “Look guys I’m all for a good bit of fangasming, but I really am just here to enjoy my day, so how about we-“
She instantly stopped as a small girl came forward. The girl looked like she could be about 10, but with the face of a 6-8 year old. If Mia had to guess the girl was fairly big for her age from those two factors. She didn’t have one of the bought masks. Instead she’d taped a cardboard toilet roll, and what looked to be a pointed slushie cone to the top of that against her hairband, painting both red, with a poorly scribbled bit of yellow on it. She was even holding her own plushie. The man, clearly a father or other guardian behind her, likely the one who made it, as Mia hadn’t officially licensed any merchandise yet, and it was very home made. It looked like some general girly plushie, but with a home made horn stitched to the head, and muscle lines drawn onto it. Mia’s heart may have literally melted at seeing that. Biting the inside of her cheek, she let out a defeated chuckle, and dropped down into a crouch.
“Okay, maybe one.”
Holding out her hand, she took the plush and turned it around, pointing a pen tip at the back. “Here okay?” The girl gave a small nod and Mia started to write her name, not wanting to ruin the plush with a big long message. “How old are yah hun?” “E-eight.” Well Mia had been on the money there then. If she had to guess she probably liked Mia because of how big she was compared to the rest of her classmates. Signing off her name, Mia handed it back and lightly patted the girl’s head, offering her a strong smile. “Do me a favour. Keep smilin’ eh?” She bopped her nose with the back of a knuckle before standing up and resting her hands on her hips. “You look so much like me, I can’t have people thinking you’re me and seeing red horn frown okay?”
The girl gave a bright smile, but just as Mia offered one back she heard the cry of the crowd. Not the initial purse snatching, but the diverting of the crowd as a man ran through them and was followed by…okay that was new. Nodding to the crowd, she gave them a two fingered salute and started to jog off. “Okay guys! Its been fun, but a hero’s got work to do!”
Following the scene to the point the slime had stole back the purse, Mia admitted the playful tone the slime girl took as she was bouncing around with the item, snickering loudly into her palm and slowly pushing forward through the crowd. She reached forward and yanked the thug out of a lunch, holding the back of his shirt and holding him up high enough not to be able to reach the floor, Mia offering a smirk to the bouncing slime as she rested her other hand on her hip. “I don’t think this punk is worth a gun, do you?”

There was something about this chain of events that felt amusingly predetermined. First she saw some people going into full fan mode about some pro-hero whose goods were being sold at the stand she passed earlier, and then the real deal emerged among the crowd. Of course, Elise couldn't help but tilt her head lightly to the side in confusion. "Oya, I didn't think that would work. gotta remember to do the call for help faster next time." Elise chimed in amusement as she bounced a few times along the ground, making the thief desperately chase after her. "Umm, fair warning amigo? I know this bag is heavy and all, and likely full of loot but well..." As she bounced over the man she watched him turn around. "You best don't be ignoring the reinforcements which have arrived."
Yet as the man tried to grasp with a swinging arm at her the slime girl bounced underneath the newcomer's legs and mused in amusement. "Switch!" And as she landed behind her she exclaimed happily. "Hehe always wanted to say that after I saw that anime~" Of course the thief was less excited about the switch, his grasping hand stopping right before the newcomer's chest. "U-Uh..." Flabbergasted as he clearly recognized the young woman he staggered backward, attempting to turn around and dart away yet Mia easily yanked the fool off his feet. "Heh, told ya~" Elise chimed in amusement as she bounced over to the pro-hero's side, a light hop and bounce following as she pulled her upper-body upwards, resembling more of a traditional slime girl as she held the bag in her hands. "Good point, if I had to shoot every pickpocket with my gun I'd get complains from sensei about all the ammunition I burn through~"
Grinning sheepishly at Mia she spotted the lady who got robbed approach the crowd, her child held by the hand and a police officer approaching them in tow. Shuffling a hand into the bag she withdrawn the small teddybear and extended the bag toward the pro-hero. "There ya go~ since you caught him you get half of the reward~ But please handle the officer for me in return~"
Bouncing over to the kid Elise manifested her body properly again and extended the teddy toward the child, playfully wagging the bear lightly. "Lookie here~ I got rescued by the mighty Red Horn! She was like 'woosh' and pulled the bad boy off his feet and into the air, that shall teach him to try to separate us from each other~"
The girl playfully exclaimed with her worst possible interpretation of a bear's voice. At least the sight of the giggling child who cheered up quickly at being reunited with her teddy was enough to bring a smile to her lips as she handed it over. "Isn't it bearrific? Now make sure to hold tight to mister bear so he doesn't get taken away again." The child nodded her head lightly in response to that statement, before asking a question that made Elise pause for a moment. "Are you a hero also miss?"
But Elise merely shook her head, humming softly. "Not at all~ I'm umm..." She paused for a moment, a hand raised to her child as she pondered for a moment. "Just a friend! mhmm~ And a friend always helps whenever they can!" The child nodded her head in understanding, clearly enjoying the playful response of the slime girl who after Mia handed the thief over to the cop and explained things would bounce over to her.
"Phew, your timing was really on time there! Worthy of a professional~" Elise teased with a smirk before the area around her cheeks started to color lightly into a reddish hue. "Umm, if it's not too much of a problem, could I borrow your help for a bit?" Elise inquired with a smile as she started to bounce a few times on the spot, feeling the urgency arise. "I promise it will be almost as easy as the pickpocket you handled just now~ My name is Elise by the way, Elise von Eisenberg, a student at Yūei Kōkō. Pleasure to meet ya~"
Bounce bounce, she really was an energetic one wasn't she? However, she had to admit that despite her words earlier she felt a little bit of joy and pride at having helped catch the pickpocket. While she still wasn't certain what had driven her, she felt happy to see the child smiling again, and a little part of her had wanted to say that she was a hero, but that would be a slight to all those who genuinely took up the profession of a hero.
It actually made her wonder slightly. What was she? While she might had been studying at a hero academy, was it truly alright to consider herself a hero? Her reason for joining the school had been personal, a selfish reason in a way, and even now she hesitated to accept the idea that she was a hero. In the end, a hero was someone who selflessly fought for others, who always cared and prioritized others. Some even said that a true hero didn't need a reason to help someone, their body simply acted on its own upon hearing the call for help.
She still remembered Sophie's words: That she was a good girl, but then the conflicting feelings toward the murderer of her father arose: Would a hero seek revenge? It was a difficult matter to think about, and yet at the same time her actions just now might have had a reason: Perhaps she was simply trying to find a way to balance the scale? Maybe this was her way of trying to burry those darker feelings. Or maybe she was just trying to follow in her father's footsteps.
Bounce bounce bounce. "Can we go to somewhere a bit more secluded? It would be a bit problematic to talk about this here." Elise really hoped that Mia would accept her request, lest the girl would find herself caught in quite a sticky situation!

“Yeeeah. Probably not the best idea.” Mia scoffed as the punk’s hand had almost reached for one of her breasts by mistake, reaching out and yanking him up like a ragdoll as she held him in the air with ease. Her red eyes rolled in their sockets as she lightly dug her nails into the back of his shoulders through his clothes and let out a heavy sigh. “Trust me this goes by all the easier when you don’t squirm…” Her eyes flickered to Elise as she herself was about to turn around, not knowing the girl’s name yet of course but noticing the unique quirk she seemed to have, taking it in with a bit of surprise. Was certainly a unique little quirk, and with how popular slime girls were in Japanese culture lately, Mia felt an odd bit of kinship right off the bat, both of them respresenting popular Japanese monsters in their own way. “Nice work there kid. Doubly nice on not attack him.” Now Mia was actually all for a good fight, but when it came to vigilantes and kids, anyone non pro really, she liked to do as little lying to the police as possible so she didn’t steal their credit where it was due, so in the case of this girl, it was good she hadn’t used anything harmful with her quirk, so Mia didn’t have to lie.
She chuckled a little as she took the purse in her free hand, the punk she was holding tucked under her arm in a tight headlock, flexing her bicep against the back of his head so he was struggling to breath just enough for the fight to slowly be drained out of him. “Sure thing. You go handle the lady and the kid yeah?” She gestured to the two coming forward out of the crowd, having seen this situation enough times by now to be able to spot the victims when she sees ‘em. Mia actually had to go through procedure and hand the purse off to the police first, they just had to get a look at it as ‘evidence’ before handing it back to the woman, likely take a snapshot or two of it and request she leave the bag itself in their custody just so they could get fingerprints for later, while majorly leaving the contents of the bag with her in a makeshift plastic wallet the police would provide.
The police hadn’t seen everything, which was a good thing. The wrong officer so much as seeing someone use their quirk, within the terms of the law or not, could lead to a bad reaction. In their case they mainly differed to Mia’s recounting of events, the thug handed off and her arms crossed as she fluffed the truth a bit. “I saw the guy running off with the purse and gave chase. I ain’t the fastest though so…er…” She glanced to the girl, nodding to herself as she came up with a lie. “This girl with me is actually on a..I guess you guys call it a ride along. She knew full well not to engage him but thankfully used her speed to cut her off. If you have any qualms about her using her quirk, that falls on me okay boys? Now, you know the drill. Paperwork sent to me in the mail, I’ll get it back to you right away. Its technically my day but you can tell the suits in accounting I don’t expect any overtime pay. Usual right for a crime in progress.”
Mia didn’t really like to talk money as far as her hero work was concerned, but it was a necessity to keep her head above water. With the cops turning off to address the woman herself, Mia turned her focus to the slime girl, smirking a little as she bowed her head. “Thanks, I do try to impress.” Though at the fact the girl apparently needed help with something, Mia tipped her head the other direction, curious as to what it might be and folding her arms a little tighter. She nodded along all the same however, smiling strong. “A UA kid huh? I can do anything for you guys, the rest of your classmates left a good first impression with me so I’m willing to help out…oh. What class you in actually? I’m mostly familiar with er, a few kids in 1A? This one jackass in 1 B too, but he didn’t have enough manners for me to bother recalling his name…you know er…Jaz? Maxi? Kanna?”
She’d let her answer as the crowd was dispersing a little, but that just made Mia’s fans more prominent as they stuck around wanting to ask her questions. As much as she usually loved the spotlight it was clear Elise needed a bit of privacy, so Mia gave her the privacy she needed. “Hey er, you got a delay on that tiny form of yours? Just need ya to hop into my hand here.”
if Else agreed, and did so, Mia would hold her in her hand for a moment before shifting her onto the back of her shoulders, tucked between her neck and the collar of the red cape her outfit consisted of. Her outfit didn’t normally have the cape, but it was part of the cosplay. Shifting her shades down over her eyes, she wiggled a little to get herself ready, before jogging towards the end of the path they’d found themselves occupying. “Hold on if ya can…!”
Rushing towards another building, she leapt up with a short distance left and imbedded her fingers into the brickwork a little, not enough to threaten the building’s stability, but enough to get herself in there. A steadying breath, and she was soon scaling the wall like a rock climber was, only her immense strength allowed her to make her own footholds. Reacing the top, she dipped her head down so Elise could hop off first before finding her way up herself, slipping over the ‘railing’ like elevated portion of the brickwork, and dusting her hands off as she walked over towards a rooftop vent, sitting herself down on the metal, which creaked a little as she did.
“So, sup kid? What ya need a word with a pro hero for?” WC 1052

Wow, that's a pro for ya
Elise thought as she watched how smoothly Mia was handling the meeting with the police officer. it also reminded her that she would need to thank her later for that little lie. However, along with her little joke and introduction, Elise couldn't help but smile weakly for a moment, recalling a collection of memories she still struggled somewhat with. "Sort of~ You could say I know who Jaz and Kanna are, and I guess Maxi qualifies as a friend."
the slime girl chimed in amusement as she bounced a few times on the spot, feeling rather glad that Mia reacted so positively on the presence of a student of the hero academy, and soon hummed in amusement. "I actually used to be in the Support Studies course, but transferred over into the B class of the Hero course." Elise answered with a smile, yet the question about her smaller form made the slime girl shake her head in response.
"Considering I'm just molding my form into a smaller but denser blob it's as easy as stretching~" Elise explained with a smile as she showcased by turning into her smaller blob form and bounced upon Mia's hand, explaining further as Mia carefully placed her between the woman's neck and the collar of the red cape. "Part of this form involves my ability to mold and shape my body, it's pretty handy, but I always need to ensure it's not too dense, else I risk injuring myself when I revert out of my form."
Seeing Mia jogging along the path she watched with a hint of curiosity when suddenly the woman leaped up toward another building, making Elise exclaim excitedly "WEEE! THIS IS MORE BADASS THAN BOUNCING!" Giggling excitedly the girl nestled herself against Mia's neck to keep herself from falling off till they reached the rooftop, making the little slime blob hum in appreciation as she hopped off onto the rooftop of the building, a few hops following as she stopped before the rooftop vent that Mia took a seat on.
"Well you see... speaking of reverting-" And as if on cue her body seemed to start to expand, like a balloon about to burst when suddenly with a small splash of slime she reverted back to her human body. However, there was one rather major problem, as was evident with the way an arm was wrapped around her breasts: If this was Halloween then Elise's costume had been a birthday suit!
"Umm..." Her cheeks flushed up lightly she continued to explain with a weak smile, her tone hinting at her flustered state. "I can't really transform yet without damaging my clothes, something I kind of forgot the consequences during the earlier misadventure." She chuckled weakly as she looked at Mia.
"C-Could you please help me get a change of clothes? I can't really head back to the dorm in Musutafu like this" Poor girl, being a slime girl really was tough, wasn't it? "The house of my parents is in a nearby residential area, so if you give me a moment to let my body recover I can shift back into my slime form and you could take me there? I would appreciate it a lot. Unless you got an alternative in mind~"
Fidgeting lightly she had to admit she actually felt a bit chilly right now, understandable considering her state of clothing, or rather the lack of it! "Kind of embarrassing that the first pro-hero I meet on the streets is the one I have to ask for clothes." Elise mused in a playful jest to try to distract herself from the embarrassing mess she found herself stuck in.
"Also thanks for that bit of deceiving earlier~ I didn't really want to worry the school needlessly, heh they already had enough of a headache with Darren fighting a giant shark man, imagine if they start hearing one of their students bounced away with a pickpocket's haul~"
A soft snicker followed as she continued. "My quirk relies on certain fluids within my body, all that bouncing around earlier drained it a bit faster than expected, but I tend to recover pretty quickly." Elise exclaimed proudly, but soon admitted with a sheepish grin. "But I still wish I could learn to make the initial transformation not burn away my clothing, maybe I'll need to get some special type of material for that... I actually only learned how to properly take this form recently so it's still a bit new to me~" It certainly took time for her to get used to it all!
"So~ what's your name, or do you prefer to be called Red Horn? To be honest the articles I sometimes read never tend to mention you by name" Elise inquired with a smile, at least she tried to keep the conversation going to distract herself from the fact she was here, naked on a rooftop on Halloween talking to a pro hero! If someone ever heard about it they might think the rumor was made as a joke!
"brrr chilly... It's a good thing that transforming into a slime kills any impurities in my body, else I'd so be getting a cold tomorrow." the burgundy-haired lass chimed in amusement. Although, the longer it took for her to try to keep herself distracted, the more the embarrassment started to hit her, steadily but surely starting to make her cheeks flush up lightly, at first a light red hue, then her entire face became red.
"M-Mind if I borrow your cape for a bit, sitting here naked in front of a pro hero is kind of... umm, I dunno, not the way I expected my first meeting with one on the streets to be like." For once Elise couldn't help but feel truly and utterly embarrassed, and also incredibly glad they had changed their location, just imagine if they had still been in the crowd from before! However, if there was one thing that truly went through her mind then it was surely:
PLEASE, SOMEONE COVER HER UP ALREADY!

When she’d rested herself down on the ceiling vent, she’d easily made a dent in it with her ass resting down into it, the hefty size and muscle mass of the woman leaving quite the impresson on weak, unsupported metal. She wasn’t sure if it was tin, steel, iron or whatever, but if she wanted to she could probably crush it under her feet. She was quite used to her weight at this point. Heck most of her furniture at home had metallic frames custom made into them just so they didn’t snap everytime she dropped her weight into them after a long day.
Still she didn’t expect the ceiling fan to do too well, and it was doing better than expected. If anything the indentation she’d made with her weight just made it a better seat, so she leaned back on her hands and tipped her head off to the side, waiting for the girl to explain what the issue was. Was there something going down at UA again? If there was another drug issue Mia wouldn’t put it past the hero association to try and cover it up so they didn’t keep getting bad press so maybe she needed help with that. Mia did put her hands up however before the girl could speak her worries, making something clear. “Before you say anything, just making it clear now, I don’t do any revenge stories okay? You want me to beat up someone who did you wrong? Ain’t happenin. Most I can offer is teaching you how to throw a decent punch so you can do it yourself…though…” She rubbed the back of her neck where the girl had been resting a moment before as they climbed up the building. “You could probably just slime ‘em and get your revenge that way…” The sensation of having the slime girl on her had hardly been unpleasant, but it was unique.
Dipping her eyes up at the splash, Mia lifted her arm at the splash. The peachy tones did meet her eyes but she was focused on covering herself from the splash first, giving Elise enough time to cover herself from the revealing nature of her quirk…Mia shouldn’t have, but she immediately began laughing, slapping a hand down on her knee and giggling to herself, lifting her head back and having to cover her eyes with a nice big hand, tucking her other arm under it for support so it didn’t get tired. “Ah come on kid you better tell me you’re at least 16 or I’m gonna get in way too much trouble for this!~” She was clearly just joking as honest as the sentiment also was, peeping through her fingers just so she knew she was looking in Elise’s direction still before closing up her hand again, sighing with a chuckle and shaking her head slowly. “Seriously kid I get the idea, and I appreciate you stopping the crook, but next time, think of the potentially mortifying consequences that may come of it.
Snickering just a little as she took in the reality of the situation, she let out a slow sigh and lowered her hand, but kept her eyes closed as they continued to talk. “Seriously though like…I get it. When I first started pushing my quirk I never really took into account how much my msucles grew when I got into a fight. I learned quick to either wear loose shit, or stretchy fabrics, so you’re totally good…” Unhooking the golden chain holding her cape together, Mia was offering it out long before the girl even asked. Designed for her size, the cape itself was probably taller than Elise and would do very well covering her in the meantime. Mia was gonna even offer she hop down and leave Elise here while she went to buy her a costume, but with the alternative option given to her that seemed pretty fair.
“Don’t worry about making a bad first impression. I caught Maxi and that 1 B kid in the middle of fights, Kanna left me with bruised forearms from blocking these metallic tentacles she was using, and er…” She snapped her fingers trying to think how Jaz left a bad first impression…but nah. Nothing came outta that. They met in the med bay sure and Jaz was way more roughed up than she herself was, but it was a good enough first meeting. “Actually Jaz was okay but seriously, more memorable than embaressing all this. Trust me.” Getting up, she rolled her shoulders back and stretched herself out. Her muscles always felt a little tense when she was exerting herself, but in a good way. That kinda sensation where you stretched after a long night’s sleeps but constantly.
“As for my name, call me whatever ya like. I’m as much Red Horn as I am…well me.” She gestured to herself with a light smirk and shrugged. “As for my real name though, Mia Kearney, but seriously, Mia, Red Horn, it’s fine. Just not Miss, or Missus, or ‘hey you’re that one chick who farted on the train last week’-“ She offered that last one as a chance to get Elise to laugh and forget about her own predicament. “Anything none-formal and non-offensive is okay in my book. Some light teasing is also good.” Stepping closer she dusted her hands off and hoisted the girl (who’d hopefully wrapped the cape around herself nice and snug by now) into her arms bridal style, smirking down at her. “Okay, looks like I’m takin’ you home okay? Do me a favour and grab my glasses will ya? They’re gonna fall off once we get goin’.”
Once Elise had her shades and was nice and comfortable on her arms, Mia took a few steps back and wiggled herself into place as she got herself steady…and then charged off the edge of the roof, leaping onto the next, charging across it, and onto the next beyond that, grinning as the wind whipped past them both.
“Do me a favour and shout the directions! Ain’t exactly gonna be easy to hear you over the wind!”

Hearing Mia's statement about how she didn't deal with revenge stories Elise could feel her cheerful smile fading away a little. She had to admit that she expected such a thing, but it still hurt for her to get confirmation that pursuing revenge was not the way of a hero, it made her stop bouncing for a bit as she shook her head, or in this case the blob that was her body lightly in response to Mia's words. "Nah, this isn't about revenge, at least not this time." Elise whispered the last part with a bitter tone, but that thought was quickly pushed aside when her transformation back into her human form ensued and Mia clearly seemed entertained by the sight!
Hearing her boisterous laughter the burgundy-haired lass her cheeks flushed up once more while the pro-hero commented jokingly that she'd hope that Elise was at least an adult of age, lest she'd get into way too much troubles. Of course, the inner-trickster inside her couldn't help but giggle mischievously at those words and offer a witty response in return. "Aha~ Sorry to disappoint you, but considering I am of Germanic origins and still got two months left till I turn eighteen I fear I'm still a minor. However, the fact it's making you consider getting into troubles with the law over seeing my naked body certainly sounds like quite the fun type of praise to give me~"
A soft giggle escaped her lips before she nodded her head sheepishly in return. "I know... Normally I wouldn't have acted, Till recently I always been an extremely pacifist person, couldn't even hurt someone if they'd punch me." She paused for a moment as she raised her free hand to her cheek and pondered for a moment. "I still don't really know what came over me. I think it was when I saw that child crying. Like, I felt my body moved on its own the moment I saw that sight, like I knew it wasn't my place to meddle into, that I could have ignored it and walked onwards, but it felt so wrong, you know? To just sit there having the means to do something about it, but not actually acting upon it? Heh, I guess I heard the opening verse of that siren song known as the Call of Heroism."
Elise chimed in jest as Mia offered her cape, making Elise whisper some words of gratitude while she started to nicely wrap the cloak around her similar to a large oversized bath towel. "Mhmm, I still don't know how exactly my transformation works. Like I focus onto this organ inside my body, but then the rest I don't really know. However, if I was to theorize, I think this organ basically pumps out a massive amount of fluids, and in return it kind of pulls in my body, like if I'm in my slime form I don't have my usual human body underneath it, like I lack bones or organs and such, but I still can speak normally, I think that's because they all are stored inside that core of mine. Which likely means the primary problem is found in the properties of my slime during the initial change. I think a bit of training to lower the acidity of those fluids could help resolve this matter."
However, realizing she had gone onto a rant Elise chuckled softly and finished up with an apologetic smile. "Sorry, I was ranting~ Aside from being a student of Yūei Kōkō I am also a medical practitioner, so things like this fascinate me a little. Anyways, where were we..." Listening to Mia's impressions of the other students Elise couldn't help but smile weakly, Maxi getting caught in a fight sounded so like him, but Kanna using metallic tentacles sounded rather new and fascinating. Still, she could understand why Mia considered her meeting with Jasmine 'memorable'. Meeting Jasmine for the first time certainly tended to carry some impact with it.
"If your farts carry as much power as your leaps I think it would qualify as a disaster and get added to the news reports." The burgundy-haired student hummed in a joking manner but after a moment finished with a sheepish grin. "Mia it is then~ Kind of tough to make a nickname out of it when it's already so short." Or maybe she needed some time to think of a good nickname.
Of course, being hoisted up by Mia into a bridal style made Elise's cheeks flush up slightly once more, feeling mildly conflicted about it. At one side this was like a childhood dream come true, in the end what feminine girl didn't like to be carried bridal style? But at the same time... WHY WASN'T TETSUKO THE FIRST TO DO THIS?!
"I guess this would have felt more rewarding to you if you weren't carrying a girl rolled up in a cape, at this rate I'm starting to feel like a sandwich or a hot dog. 'Hot Elise'?" A snicker followed as she nodded her head in return to Mia's request about the shades, yet as Mia started to leap into the air the wind whipping past them was enough to make her cheer out again. "THIS FEELING NEVER GETS OLD!" Elise exclaimed excitedly as she started to provide Mia with proper directions toward the Eisenberg household.
She wasn't sure how long it had taken, but in Elise's opinion it had been way too short, so liberating it felt to be so high up in the air. However, as they properly landed on the ground the burgundy-haired lass could be seen wearing Mia's shades, and upon being let down before the house she hummed in response. "I am the Blue Slime! Goes well together with your Red Horn moniker~" Elise answered with a smirk as she handed back the shades. "Just a moment, need to talk to the neighbor for the spare key."
The girl explained as she walked over to the neighboring house, and after a brief explanation, no doubt involving explaining her state of dress and the reassuring she was alright the girl returned with a key as she approached the frontdoor. "Although this house belongs to my parents, the truth is that nobody lives here anymore."
She unlocked the door and motioned for Mia to come inside for a moment as she continued. "My parents... were murdered by Thunder Shock's gang during the attack on Tokyo's Hospital." She tried to surpress the anger in her voice, but it was still tough to do so. "Or rather, my father... my mother is still in a comatose, but I heard they are about to cease efforts to bring her back since everything so far failed. I... When they asked if they could stop her treatment entirely I denied it, I still hold a sliver of hope that someday my mother will wake up."
Approaching the staircase she thought for a moment, recalling that this was the first time she was talking to an active pro-hero and saw this as an opportunity to get an opinion from a different perspective. "Mia, what do you think about the laws surrounding villains and the way hero society works?"
A curious question for sure, but one she decided to elaborate on soon as they reached her room. "I can't help but feel they are flawed. When a criminal like Thunder Shock is allowed a proper trial, when his victims didn't even get to have him listen to their pleas... Not to mention, rotting in a cell just gives him a chance to escape someday. I know you don't do revenge stories, but for those left behind revenge is sometimes a form of justice and coping with their loss."
Approaching one of the closets she opened it and turned toward Mia. "I'm about to get changed now, so if you end up sneaking a peek it's at your own risk." The lass stated with a teasing poke of her tongue before she started to untie the cape and started to change into a proper set of clothes.
"I... It's why I answered the way I did when that child asked if I was a hero. Even if I'm training to become one, I can't consider myself a hero, surely not a true hero. In the end heroes don't pursue revenge. Although, lately I been feeling odd... Like, thinking that if it meant remaining at my lover's side, that I wouldn't mind giving up on this search for vengeance."
She chuckled sorrowfully as the burgundy-haired lass shook her head lightly in an attempt to banish the thoughts glooming over her. "To think I care more about being with my girlfriend than dealing with the murderer of my parents. Sometimes it makes me feel guilty toward my father, almost as if I favor my love for my girlfriend over my desire to avenge him."
She sighed for a moment as she finished her explanation. "Then again, considering my parents were a pharmacist and a doctor I think it's easy to guess what my father would have wanted for me."
She turned toward Mia and asked while giving her a playful wink. "So~ Do I get to keep this cape as a memento of meeting the one and only Red Horn?"

While Mia couldn’t hear Elise’s internal thoughts, the writer of the character felt it’d be fun to clarify a specific thing. Mia would never chase someone else’s vengeance unless they were especially close to her, and she felt invested in their pursuit of it, but in the case of herself…it wasn’t easy to get her seeking vengeance. You pissed her off, you became a rival or a playful nemesis, someone she wanted to one up and get back at but not to the point of calling it revenge…but if you crossed that line. Something that truly, with no second guessing, made her feel a need for revenge…Mia didn’t even need to contemplate it. Your home wouldn’t burn. You can’t burn something if you’ve smashed it down to the atomic level already.
Still, it was good to hear the girl confirm that wasn’t the case when she did. Mia bonded pretty quickly with the few UA kids she’d met so far but she wasn’t about to go on some vengeance story for one she just met, even if the girl did seem like the kind of person worth her time. Instead what came was the obvious display of nudity and Mia having to cover her eyes, groaning deeply but in a more jokey manner as she heard Elise try and tease her about it further. “Ah fuck there goes my license. Goodbye number one hero spot hello pedo scandle.” She snickered hard into her hand all the same, clearly just joking, especially since, if presented with the facts, she was sure most people could be smart enough o understand what the fuck was actually going on here and how it was in no way illegal genuinely, though that last comment earned a louder snicker. “Don’t flatter yourself hun. I mean yer cute but I prefer a bit more woman to catch my eye.~” She stuck out her tongue before finally removing her hand from her eyes to look at Elise as they continued talking.
When she heard Elise explain why she went hero in the middle of public, knowing this clear drawback of her quirk, Mia understood right away, even without the kid crying there was just this natural urge in people who wanted to be heroes to…be heroes. Heck, even people who wanted to be heroes didn’t have it sometimes. If you were a hero, training or no, in your heart, you just had that…gut feeling. That feeling that something was kicking you in the gut till you acted. That was how Mia thought of it anyway, but her mental imagery always tended to be a bit harsher than most. “Nah kid I get it. What you did is technically illegal, but you ain’t about to get a lecture from me. I did a lot of crap I should regret as far as the laws concerned but…a hero’s gotta do what they gotta do…and you certainly sound like a hero to me.~”
Listening to her explain her quirk she tipped her head to the side. Glad it was put more in lamens terms and sensations of feeling. Mia kinda had something similar herself. “Yeeeah I know what you mean. You sorta have like this…extra ‘bit’ inside you, ya just put your mind on it and your quirk works? Like, I focus on it and my muscles get stronger and bulk out more, or I can feel it burning on it’s own when I get hyped up. Its this extra thing you just…can’t describe, cause no one else has it ya know? Like how would a dog explain having a tail to a human yeah?”
She hoped that made sense.
“As for why you get naked, how about we don’t get into that. This is already risqué enough as it is and these days you have no idea if there’s a literally invisible reporter spying on you. Right STEVE!?” She was joking entirely to get a giggle out of Elise, but whirled around and eyed the other rooftops to sell it, not even making it clear to Elise if this was 100 percent a joke or not as she turned back around. “Okay, he seems to be taking a day off.”
She rolled her eyes at the fart comment but mostly kept herself silent as she hoisted Elise into her arms and got moving, leaping across building to building as she pushed herself in the directions Elise pointed out to her. She did snicker a little at her calling herself a hot dog, and a ‘hot Elise’. “Cute Elise at best kiddo. Ya got another year or two before anyone can safely call ya ‘hot’.~” She offered a smirk down at a girl just as she bounded off another building, managing to keep some fair balance while she was charging. She had to plan her route a bit more than normal however. Without her hands she couldn’t scale the sides of buildings like she often did and charge in a straight line. “Glad you’re enjouin’ it though kid! Girls usually be lining up to get a ride from me so be blessed you’re getting one outta the blue!” She smirked, wondering if that kind of risky humor would be okay, but given Elise’s earlier jokes, she felt it’d be okay. They were just joking about afterall so where was the harm?
When they finally reached the house, digging up a bit of the ground as she landed with her feet. Whether it was grass or pavement, she’d have to remember to file a quick form for it to be fixed when she got home. She let Elise down to her feet and rolled her eyes. “Hey I mean, I’m gonna be looking’ for sidekicks someday. Us monster girls might do well sticking together if ya ever wanna consider the job when ya graduate!~”
With Elise grabbing her key, Mia stuck with her till she got inside. Half to make sure she was okay, half to ensure she got her cloak back. Thing was damn expensive for a sheet of fabric, what with the dyed flames and the dai gurren logo on the back. Hearing her explain her living situation…Mia grit her teeth. She’d been in another part of town that day handling something that, while still fairly sizeable, in no way compared to the havoc thundershock had caused. “…Yeah.” Not a good response in the slightest, but she didn’t really know what else to say. Mia wasn’t the kind of hero to have a tragic backstory. She didn’t have any dead family members, no one lost in an accident. She could have empathy for this but…she couldn’t quite sympathize either. Best she felt was guilt that she wasn’t there fighting herself…she briefly blamed Darkshine, but shook the thought from her mind.
She was brought back to reality by the question, stepping inside to keep the girl company, closing the door behind her. She still felt awkward that the words of Elise’s parents earned a pathetic one word response from her, but perhaps Mia’s tone would convey just how hard it was for her to think of something…’worth’ saying there. The question tho. The question. Shaking her head free of the pseudo guilt, she focused on that. “I think…they’re fucked.” She held up her hands, despite speaking the truth she needed to justify herself. “Don’t get me wrong like…we banned guns for a reason, and quirks are like guns but…not? Ugh. Anyway er…quirks are a part of us and I think being able to use them for good should be a given, but I also get why we can’t use ‘em unless we’re trained and approved so…I think something needs to change, but damn am I not gonna be the one who figures it out.”
Lifting her eyes to Elise as she made it more clear what she was asking about, the pursuit of vengeance on Thundershock….Mia grit her teeth, suppressing her tusks so they didn’t grow over her top lip and trying to come off more genuine and soft but… “Kid. If Thundershock is who you want Revenge on…you get it. I mean by all means, if you love your girl, stick with her, but don’t go thinking vengeance can’t be heroic. You…you need to….” She threw her arm down trying to think of the right word and stepping closer as she finally got it. “You need to temper it. A want for vengeance isn’t bad, it’s how you get it. I…I’m gonna be honest I don’t care if someone kills that fuck, brutalize him, humiliate him, imprison him, kill him. Shit deserves it. I personally don’t think I’d kill him but I wouldn’t feel guilty if I did…just never take vengeance TOO far, is all I’m saying.”
With a deep sighs he rubbed the back of her neck, knowing full well she was not good with this stuff.
“Please don’t take this outta context and tell anyone I said ‘killing is okay in my book, trademark redhorn’ or some shit. Just…I prefer to be honest, especially if you’re looking to be a hero. I ain’t gonna sell you some fake ass view of what it means to be a hero unless the cameras are on me so…you do you. Stick with your girlfriend, seek revenge…whatevs.”
At the far more playful question, she scoffed and pointed up the stairs. “Little miss you get changed and you give me that back right now before I yank it back off ya!”

It was refreshing to have a playful and casual conversation like the one they were having right now. There was something about that playfulness that allowed her to easily cheer up and keep the gloomy thoughts at bay, especially when Mia commented about losing her hero license, making the girl snicker softly. "Oh mai~ Who would have thought, the famous Red Horn going right into red territory~ They found a minor sleeping in her bed wrapped in only the hero's cloak~ Hope you got a good defense attorney." Elise hummed with the playful enacting of a news reporter their words. However, hearing Mia's statement afterwards made Elise pout in faux annoyance. "I'd let you know that there are plenty who like cute femininity like my own looks~ Although I kinda like the slightly more roughish look." Elise stated as she playfully extended a free hand to Mia's abs and tried to give them a poke with a finger. "Nothing beats a good set of abs to rub against~ Although when I do that against my girlfriend she's squirming and flailing in no time." And then there was obviously another point that needed addressing. "Besides, if it's a different shape you want, I could turn into my slime form~ I'm sure with some effort I can shape myself to be more 'womanly' in the right areas~" And as if to accentuate on her words she bounced lightly on the back of her heels, the motion making her modest bust give a light jiggle, the wonders of no bra, right?
"Hehe~ Yeah, good thing you didn't tell the officer, it's kinda embarrassing when your legal guardian and mentor is the principal." Elise hummed in amusement as she thought back about the earlier event. She wasn't entirely convinced that she was a hero, but hearing a Pro-Hero declare she had the heart of a hero? Now that felt rather sweet and heartwarming to her, almost to the point she might have been tempted to happily give the woman a hug... almost~
"Mhmm pretty much, like it's tough to explain something to someone when they don't have it~" Indeed, explaining the nature of her core did feel a bit awkward, especially when she tried to simplify it for people to understand somewhat more properly. Of course, as she heard Mia's joke the burgundy-haired lass let out a soft yelp, hiding herself further inside the cloak. "I don't want a reputation as a nudist Mia~ Let's avoid getting the attention of reporters, invisible or not~" Of course, as Mia hoisted her up and started to prepare to take her home the teasing remark that Mia gave her led Elise to hum playfully. "Cute Elise also sounds nice~ 'Cute Eli~'" She answered with a sheepish grin on her lips, yet hearing Mia's comment about girls lining up for a ride made Elise snicker mischievously as she answered her with a hint of curiosity in her tone. "Oho~ should I make a reservation next time?"
When Mia commented about searching for sidekicks someday Elise raised a hand to her chin, pondering for a moment. "I would certainly love the idea of getting some experience from you someday~ I imagine they will likely do some sort of internship program for us students in the future so we get actual field experience? However, if I graduate..." She paused for a moment, her cheeks turning red as she continued with a bashful smile. "I want to form a team with my lover~"
Of course, she knew all too well that not every hero could have possibly been fighting at the hospital at that time. While she found it somewhat odd that only Darkshine showed up, crime never slept and Tokyo was already huge on its own, so as a result with the smaller population of the hero society... perhaps it was to be expected?
"Oh?" her eyes widening slightly, seemingly bewildered at the fact Mia agreed with her to a certain extent. "Mhmm, Quirks and guns, there is so much about laws in general which need to be carefully reconsidered. In my opinion a villain like Thunder Shock doesn't deserve the protection of the law. I believe in the distant past there was a similar situation, outlaws who ignored the laws of society and as a result found themselves no longer under its protection either. Of course, it's a hard subject to deal with."
Still, Mia's words hit a rather unusual string within Elise, her gaze widening for a moment before it softened, for a moment finding her eyes getting blurry with the hints of tears. "You're the first one who actually told me to do what I want to do. Usually I get told that it's bad to seek revenge, that it can be dangerous, that wanting to kill Thunder Shock would make me stoop as low as him someday..."
She averted her gaze for a moment, finishing putting on her clothes as she made her decision. "To be honest, I will prioritize protecting what I have left. As much as I hate that man, I'm sure his day will come sooner or later, but I feel that Tetsuko is more important to me. She... is really my hero I guess?" Elise mused softly while turning toward Mia as she was told to give back her cloak, and of course, the mischievous trickster saw an excellent opportunity to play in on that.
"But Mia~" She began, stepping over to her and leaning a bit closer. "How else would I be able to tell my classmates I met the famous Red Horn? They wouldn't believe me! Besides, this cloak was wrapped around my.naked.body... do you really want that reporter called Steve to find out you're wearing that cloak just to recall my scent? It's apple-scented shampoo by the way~" Oh gods, she really was having way too much fun teasing the pro hero, even if she knew that their little encounter was likely coming to an end soon.

Mia continued to groan in a playful manner as Elise continued to tease her about the situation the two of them found themselves in. If she ever found the girl again in a situation where she was wearing clothes, she’d make sure to get her own back, but any teasing she could do suddenly felt weird and cringey when the girl before her was dressed in nothing more than her cosplay’s cloak. “Oh shut up will ya or I might just drop ya off halfway home and leave ya there. Don’t wanna be stuck in the middle of nowhere with nothing more than a cloak do ya?” She offered a teasing smirk of her own as she tried to hold back her own nervous chuckles, and making sure her eyes never lingered on the girl for too long at any point. Fuck this was…genuinely a dangerous situation on multiple levels, but at least Elise seemed to be taking it more in playful stride than anything. “Oh I’m sure your way has it’s own benefits, but I’ve always been one who goes for a bit of a womanly curve to them. Good for you though loving muscles. Makes me feel even weirder being in this situation, but hey, good you got a girl who meets your tastes.~ Make sure you drool over her abs for all us muscular girls who don’t get enough appreciation.~” She gave a sly wink at that, but with Elise talking about how she could change her curves in her slime form, Mia got a little more than distracted at the thought, tempted to ask if she could pull it off, but with the jiggle of her chest as she bounced on her heels, she remembered the age of the girl she was talking to, growling as she shot her eyes off in another direction. “Oooooh…shut up.”
Legal guardian and mentor was the principal? She was fairly sure they’d covered that Elise was a UA student already, but her mentor and guardian was the principal? Elise would make it clear in time what her family situation was but the principal was a new wrench in the works of her brain trying to get around this. “Wait so…your parents are…for lack of a better way of saying it, out of the picture, so the principal is your guardian? What happened there?? He a friend of the family or do teachers normally become guardians in these situations? I wouldn’t exactly know…”
With the explanation of the quirk, Mia nodded along. It was a thing you just couldn’t explain but it was also a weirdly shared experience, having that weird extra muscle you can tug on to activate your quirk. It was something many quirkers could relate to even if they couldn’t relate ‘precisely’ with everyone else. It was always a different secret muscle afterall. She snickered as Elise played along with the invisible reporter joke, flying through the Air with Elise as they got closer and closer to her home. “Oh yeah, Cute Elise, Cute Eli, Cuteli. Take your pick, they all work for a little cutie like you.~” She snickered even louder and scoffed at that, deciding this one she could tease Elise back about. “Yeah, I should warn you though, we’re booked up for…I’m gonna guess 3 years with you? Hey though, if your girlfriends opened minded by then I’ve always got a pretty open mind myself.~” The wink she gave made it very unclear if she was joking about that.
The talk about internships or sidekicks had Mia smirking. “Yeah, a monster girl like you? Totally would welcome you into the ranks. I think we’d work well together too if they let interns fight alongside me. I mean you’re quick, agile, pretty sure you mentioned you can use a gun so you’ve got range covered. You’d be a great help to me if we lined our plans up right. What’ya say. Do I get to shortlist ya incase those internships ever become a thing?” She offered a no pressure smirk, she’d genuinely like to see more unique young heroes taken under her wing, but she’d never force them or pressure them to work with her either if it just wasn’t for them.
She was a little curious what Elise wanted changed about gun laws but she wasn’t about to push it. Mia honestly thought they should be banned where possible but she supposed her own views on quirks were similar to how people viewed gun laws. Both were potentially deadly, easy to use weapons that could do far too much damage for the protection they could provide, so she wasn’t about to get into a fight about it. She was also glad that Elise was open to her views on revenge. “Look just…no telling anyone about that unless you trust ‘em okay? If I let it get out I think revenge is okay, I’ll never hear the end of it from the press…but tell ya what. I ever fight thundershock? I’ll give ‘em a big ol’ punch on your behalf.” She offered a soft genuine smile at that, chuckling a little as the two went on.
“Like I said, you best show your girl some appreciation, especially if she’s so important to you like that. Heck, if she’s a strong girl, I’d love to meet her sometime too. Monster girls and buff girls. Both are welcome in my offices!~”
She rolled her eyes at the defence of keeping her cloak, sighing deeply and resting her face in her hand, shaking her head. “Ah fuck it. You want it so bad I suppose I don’t mind…er. Here though.” She reached into her pocket and pulled out a business card to give to Elise. “My number, should those internships ever become a thing in your school I’d definitely be open to taking you on board.” Pulling back she gave a firm nod. “You mind if I grab a drink while you get dressed? Kinda thirsty after bounding across half the city.”

Despite the playful nature of their conversation, Elise found herself developing a rather positive opinion of Mia so far. There was something about the woman, the way she seemed so honest an upfront that was refreshing, to say the least. Till recently she often wondered just how different pro heroes could be from one another. Like for example There was Arata-sensei whose youthful nature and somewhat casual and easygoing nature did wonders for the young students to bond with him, at least she considered it rather easy to imagine herself interacting with someone like Arata compared to a teacher like Junko who was renown for her strictness. Of course, it could sometimes lead to a backlash in the sense that he might have difficulties getting a student to respect him. "Hehe~ Guess this is turning into my win~" Elise chimed in amusement at Mia's threat to drop her halfway home and leave her there with only a cloak on. "Oho~ I'm sure she is quite aware just how much I appreciate her." Elise hummed as she recalled one of her recent trips with Tetsuko and the playful teasing that followed afterward. "I guess it's a raincheck on the busty slime girl then~" the burgundy-haired lass chimed in amusement.
When asked about Touma's presence as her legal guardian Elise shook her head lightly, clarifying further. "It seems my mother had a brief conversation with the principal before she fell into her comatose, and since then Touma--- I mean Kobayashi-sensei has been watching out for me. But yeah, aside from my parents I didn't have any relatives, in the part of Germany I was born at the tolerance for Quirks is much less, and when my parents learned I had a Quirk they were forced to decide between abandoning me, or being abandoned by the rest of their family. I heard that ever since they were forced to make that decision my parents haven't ever been in contact with them." Although even if she was the last of her 'family', it didn't mean that she was alone, Elise was quite aware of that. Still, hearing Mia's statement about the nickname, the burgundy-haired lass couldn't help but snicker in amusement, although she soon ended up pouting. "3 years?! And here I thought that I might be able to enjoy another ride before I graduate~" the lass jested with a playful chuckle, yet the words that followed made her scratch her cheek awkwardly. "I don't think the two of us are that open-minded when it comes to that~" the lass hummed with a light blush.
"Mhmm, I usually fight from long range, but thanks to my mobility and gun-handling skills I'd say I'm likely skilled enough to fight in mid or close-range also, but prefer to keep my distance. But sure~ Feel free to shortlist me if they ever get those internships going!" Elise chimed happily. Still, the subject of guns made her ponder for a moment more as she listened to Mia's warning on terms of the whole revenge matter. "Hah! aye, give him a good whallop, or a good old nutcracker!" The girl chimed in agreement as she mimicked a playful kick with her feet into the air, although in the back of her mind she could imagine the air being Thunder Shock's crotch...
"Mhmm~ She's very strong! on terms of close-quarters combat she outdoes me by far, she also is a really skilled swordswoman~ I'll make sure to introduce her to you sometime." However, in the wake of the conversation, it seemed the subject turned toward the matter of the cloak, her attempt to convince Mia seemingly succeeding! "Yay~" The girl exclaimed as she playfully pulled open the cloak and revealed she was already dressed, and while pulling the oversized cloak around her like a royal cape the lass continued. "Besides, if you wanted to enjoy a sniff, you could just let me enjoy another ride~" the lass exclaimed with a teasing poke of her tongue while looking at the extended hand, picking up the business card. Oh gods, she was so going to show this to Tetsuko! Perhaps even to people like Akio and Haruto! She was kind of curious what they thought about pro-heroes. "Sure~ lemme get you something to drink." Elise answered with a gentle nod as she led Mia downstairs again and into the kitchen, where like she expected the Japanese bobtail cat was lazily napping on a stool. "Heh, that's Stumpie~ Anyway, I got some carbonated drinks, like soda and such... German apple juice, a few cans of beer or a bottle of wine~ feel free to pick whatever you want. My parents don't really stock much on terms of alcohol since they are more the social drinker type? My father only drinks when it's to celebrate something after work with his colleagues. Sometimes they would spend the evening in the garden laughing and making merry as if it was a party... not that they need the drinks anymore I guess, I'm sure he would prefer to have them put to good use~"
A little nod of affirmation was made as she waited for Mia to make her choice. "You're welcome to take them home with you~ I'm about to return to the dorms soon, before Tetsu gets worried~" Still, for a moment she couldn't help but feel a wave of nostalgia overcome her as she walked over to the cat and caressed her head, musing softly. "I'm sure that Tetsu will love to meet you also someday, she likes strong people, but also admires those who have like their own sense of justice? Like people who stick to their beliefs~ Besides, I'm sure you'd be able to teach us a fair bit, although if it's arm-wrestling I'm going to have to decline, I'm not that strong physically, but I can assure you that my massages as a slime girl will truly be a divine relaxation after work~"
And with those words she had started to pack some of the stuff she would be taking back with her to the dorms.

Glad to hear that Elise on her back was more than eager to show her girl how much she appreciated her, she offered a strong smile down to the girl in her arms while she was leaping through the city, offering little more than a chuckle at the idea of taking a raincheck on the idea of her becoming some busty slime girl. “Ya know that’s weirdly appropriate. I dunno how you work, but something tells me that’d be easier for you to pull of when it’s raining than any other time!” Sure Elise may not have soaked up moisture like some slime girls in anime, but it was an easy enough joke that she was sure the girl in her arms probably got the message.
Back closer to the present, hearing that the kid’s mom had arranged this guardianship was odd, but given the strong feelings potentially present with your mom being in a coma, Mia wasn’t too eager to press the topic here, nodding along and just…accepting the situation she guessed. It was good to hear the guy was looking out for her though. She wouldn’t accept anything less for a poor kid in this situation. “Low tolerance for quirks huh? Try living in Texas. You think with all the super hero comics America drowns itself in I’d have been fine, but somehow growing up with a red horn in one of the most Christian places in the country didn’t earn me many immediate friends.” She scoffed a little as she tried to remember it as a joke, but it had been a rough few years before she’d grown big enough to defend herself. She always had been in some way, but when the kids her age learned she wasn’t someone to be messed with, their older brothers and sisters In the years above had always been ready to take up the reigns in their stead…
“Damn right 3 years I ain’t closing down the ‘Mia fun times’ Roller coaster just cause of some shitty legal dispute! You want another ride on that before you graduate and you’re gonna need some heavy fucking trust from me you teasing little minx!” Sharing a wide grin as it clear she was totally just playing along at this point, she snickered an rolled her eyes, rubbing the bridge of her nose and sighing hard. “Ah fuck what the hell did I even just say. How old even are you? I’d make child line jokes but I’m pretty sure they don’t have that in japan.”
Smirking, she nodded along. “Yeah, I’ll be sure to give him a fairly hard wallop. Right where he’ll feel it most.” She shot her fist out like an uppercut wind up, but slammed her bicep into her other hand to stop it right where the crown jewels would be. “POW! He won’t be having anymore of his shitty kids any time soon after that I’m tellin’ ya.” Folding her arms now with a proud grin, she looked down to the girl before her. “Good to hear you and your girl make a good combo though, just make sure your work ain’t getting in the way of your relationship. Even hero couples gotta deal with the same issues everyone does from working together.. Though. With the way you talk about her, I doubt you’ll get sick of seeing her everywhere anytime soon will ya?”
Rolling her ques with the teasing of her clock, she ruffled Elise’s hair as she followed the girl to get a drink. “I coulda helped myself ya know, and hey, just be glad you’re getting my cloak.” Ruffling her hair a little harder she added. “I can still rip that off ya if ya keep teasing me.~”
When the drinks were offered Mia grabbed for the remainder of the apple juice and the cans of beer with a smirk and a teasing “Well hey if you’re offering.” The fact the drinks weren’t gonna be used was a bit sad, but Mia wasn’t gonna depress the girl when they were so close to saying goodbye. She did notice the cat, smiling wide and briefly pulling it into her arms, hopefully doing well to keep it behaving in her arms since Mia was actually a lover of cats. Most people would equate her personality more to that of a dog, but when it came to house pets, Cats were where it was at for the blonde, gently rubbing her face into it’s fur before letting it drop back onto a counter or the floor, trusting the feline to land on it’s feet.
She chuckled a bit at the internship talk and shook her head. “Girl you’re gonna be an intern, while I’m definitely gonna teach you both some things, you better not think you’re getting away without giving me at least one demeaning massage.” She offered a strong smile and started to pull away, heading for the door but looking back to the girl as she ripped the top off a beer can. Not the cap, she literally grasped the tin roof of the can, and twisted like it was a beer bottle till the thing came off entirely, chugging a little from the torn apart tin before looking to the girl again. “You gonna be okay if I head out? I mean, genuinely, I don’t mind sticking around if you need another ride once you’re done getting dressed here?”

Indeed, there was no doubt that Elise appreciated Tetsuko, especially after everything the two of them had been through together. However, hearind Mia chuckle and comment about the raincheck joke the burgundy-haired lass couldn't help but giggle in amusement. "Actually you're not entirely wrong~ My body relies on a fluid that is produced by this special organ inside me, it wouldn't be a wrong assumption to say that a rainy day would help me produce more of it," Of course, she was pretty much expecting for Mia to make an obligatory joke about Elise being more efficient in her transformation by getting 'wet'. "However, it would just require a little bit more fluid to be channeled toward my bust I guess? Dunno~ I'll give it a try next time!" Elise joked with a mischievous snicker.
Elise nodded her head sorrowfully at Mia's nostalgic talks about her past and the lack of quirk tolerance. It reminded her of the memories involving that one time where her father got hospitalized because of a fight he got involved into for her sake, overall it made it clear to her just how divided the gap between Quirkers and non-Quirkers tended to be. It actually made her wonder if there was a means to change it someday, and whether she could help in creating more tolerance for people with Quirks. It was a desire she always had, in the end not everyone dealt with the consequences of the lack of tolerance as well as some people did, but she had to admit that Japan at least had made quite some improvements in the overal acceptance of Quirks in their society compared to the rural side of Germany where she was raised at. "It's sad that people often forget that even with a Quirk, we're still human beings."
Still, the joking remark that Mia made quickly earned a mischievous snicker from the girl. "Well, in Germany I would be considered an adult next month, on Christmas in fact. If I'd have to wait three years I'd be twenty-one already! I won't need a raincheck then to be busty when riding the Mia fun times roller coaster~" Of course, the joke still had to continue onwards as the lass snickered at Mia's remark about the child line joke. "Seventeen, turning eighteen on Christmas~ I believe there is even a famous old song about that." Humming a soft melody it seemed that she really was enjoying the little teasing.
Still, she couldn't help but blink in confusion. "Wait, that man actually has children? Guess it takes crazy to screw crazy..." Elise muttered with a hint of disgust as she let out a shudder and continued to talk on the subject of Tetsuko. "Mhmm~ I'd never get tired of seeing her~ She's the one who makes every day so fun to experience!" Of course, Mia did make a good point: There would be a time when they likely had problems they needed to deal with together, especaily with them looking to become heroes in the future it was clear that they would someday be exposed to all sorts of problems and dangers, but she was confident they could handle those things together! In the end they loved each other too much to let anything stand in the way of their relationship.
Feeling her hair get ruffled Elise snickered softly, her hands wrapped around the cloak as she hummed playfully. "Nu-uh, once given a gift is a gift and taking it back is stealing~ A hero doesn't steal stuff, does she?" Elise answered with a little grin yet seeing Mia actually pull up her cat into the muscular arms of the Oni, the burgundy-haired lass couldn't help but smile as the cat leaned closer to Mia's cheek and gived her a gentle rub with her head. a few head rubs being made as she started mewling. "I think she likes you Mia~" Elise answered with a grin as she gently scooped up the cat and explained with a smile. "She isn't the type to give licks, so instead whenever she gives someone like those little head rubs it's her way of showing affection~"
Nuzzling her head lightly against the cat's fur she finally placed Stumpie back onto the table and grinned at the talk of the internship. "You got it! After a day of rough internships I'll give you a massage so great you'd feel like you could take on the entire underworld full of criminals and villains!" The girl jested with a smile, yet as Mia worriedly asked her whether she'd be fine on her own Elise merely nodded her head. "Mhmm~ I'll be fine, I can just take the next train to Musutafu and then I'd be back at the school's dorms in no time."
Raising a hand to her chin she pondered for a moment, seemingly having an idea as her lips curved into a grin, the glint in her eyes making it clear she was planning something. "But if you're offering, I'd totally love a ride back to the dorms~ You know where the school is located, right?" Elise inquired with a smile as she finished gathering the remaining items she wanted to take back with her, and after carefully folding up the cloak in a backpack she was ready for the ride back.
"Guess we can make our way back to Musutafu then~" Hearing the soft mewling Elise turned to the little house cat, a hand gently lowered to caress the cat's head, smiling tenderly at the gentle head rubs. "Mhmm~ I'll tell Tetsuko you said hi~ Make sure to keep an eye on the house while I'm gone Stumpie~"
The girl's words were answered with a soft mewl as the duo seemingly was followed to the doorstep, upon which the cat rolled herself up and decided to take a nap, as if playing the role of a welcoming guard.
"Bai bai Stumpie~"
And with those words she locked the door, turning toward Mia. "Let's go back to Musutafu, shall we?"

Mia wasn’t too sure how well Elise’s quirk could really enhance her figure, but the idea of her just stepping into the rain, and suddenly, BAM, boobs, was giggle worthy in the blonde’s eyes. It definitely brought a smirk to Mias lips, and with the idea of one day making a hero office saturated with monster girls it definitely gave Mia a fun image of a potential hiree for the future. Focusing here and there on her leaping she tried not to miss any of Elise’s words. She did snicker a bit at Elise’s words, and muttered- “’gets sexy when wet’, watch out world, the gremlins just got a lot more interesting.~” She smirked back at the girl over her shoulder, snickering to herself and continuing forward. “Hey don’t force yourself to on my account. Don’t get me wrong I’d DEFINITELY be interested to see the results, but I can imagine something like that could totally make you sick if you don’t pull it off right.” She glanced back to Elise, offering a warm and reassuring smile before continuing to focus on the path to her home.
“Yeah well…odds are with the rate we’re growing, quirkers will be all there is one day. Maybe then there’ll be racism about what kind of quirk you have, but…I’m gonna do my best to make sure that isn’t the end result.” She took a deep breath and shook her head, knowing humans, quirkers or not, were all shits at the core, when looking at things on a grand scale at least. Something like that would never truly be eliminated in Mia’s view, but- “In my eyes, even the ‘crappiest’ of quirks is glorious, and I will make sure anyone who doubts their own quirk, or hates it, knows that. I’ll strive to inspire them to do greater and go forward with their potential. All the same though…” She let out a sigh. “The world ain’t perfect…but hey. Sometimes. It’s the more heroic thing to recognize that…and start striving to get closer…without the delusions you’re ever gonna reach it. Cause you aim for something you’re never gonna get…and boy will you get tired.”
Dramatic monologue over, Mia focused snickered at the comments on Elise’s age. “Oh in Germany huh? Best get you a ticket for Christmas. Get you and your girl a nice room, with a hot tub?” She flashed a cheeky smile to the girl. “I mean you still got three years before I can safely ride the Mia coaster in any country with how much the press would love to hear about me taking a cute lass like you to Germany just for a fun right. Sure you’re girlfriend would enjoy the surprise though.~” Her smirk showed she was clearly joking about such an extravagant holiday gift given the two were practically strangers, but she was hoping it at least got a small rise out of Elise. From what little she’d said, the girl seemed so sheltered when it came to sex that it seemed to be a very easy target if Mia wanted a nice reaction.
“Oh yeah! Guy has tonnes apparently? Or like, at least a big amount compared to what you’d expect I’ve been told?” She took a sip of her drink when she got it in hand and took a hearty swig of it following that when she realized it didn’t taste bad at all. “I think most of us heroes looked into him after his big show. Sure he’s in prison, but it’s always good to know your enemy, especially when they make such a big first impression. I swear I catch him, or any of his kids, it won’t be long before they end right back inside a cell.”
Smirking at the lighter tone of Elise mentioning her girl, she ruffled her hair and just winked at her at that, showing she appreciated the girl talking about her own girl in some weird way.
“Oh shut up and stop rubbing it in. You’re already making me buy a new cloak ya cheeky bitch!~” Snickering nice and loud she rolled her eyes and glanced off to the side.
With the cat in her arms, Mia had a soft expression on her face. While related to a dog in personality she always enjoyed a good feline, stroking the cat softly as it rubbed up against her before letting it go. “Ah that’s fine. Cat’s always have rough tongues anyway, so the head rub is plenty appreciated.” She offered back a warm smile and rested a free hand in her pocket as she watched the feline move about.
Snickering at Elise’s comment about massages, she rolled her eyes again. God if Elise did come to work for her, massage or no, that was gonna be fun. “Keep up the ass kissing and you might actually get to fight some villains with me if there are no cops around to tattle on me.” She stuck out her tongue, making it hard to tell if she was being serious or not.
“Oh yeah, I know where your school is. Just er…” She looked to the cans still left to drunk, holding up a finger, and placing the cans to one side, tearing the lids off each of them and downing the stuff one after another, wincing as it quickly hit her gut and she let out a hearty burp from the bubbles rapidly rising through her full, sloshing stomache, grinning wide and showing no signs of that hitting her brain any time soon. “Sorry, didn’t wanna spill any of that on the way. I was about to suggest you go slime so it’s easier to carry you, but it kinda defeats the point of you coming back here to get dressed.”
Heading out, she let elise get onto her back and made sure she held on tight, charging to an alleyway and practically wall jumping up the inner walls until she made her way to the rooftops, giving Elise a nice little jaunt across the rooftops on the way home, the moon nice and clear in the sky as she clouds parted and leaving Mia with a nice little view as she glanced towards the sky. Before long, she was at the dorms she’d dropped Jaz back off at once, easing Elise down off her back, and saluting to her as a goodbye with two fingers.
“Catch ya around slimey. Can’t wait to see what you make of yourself as a hero here!”
She let Elise say her own goodbyes, then turned and rushed off to leap over the school gates and back home.
