Empty PocketsTHEY CALL ME DEVIL, AND YOU SHOULD BE AFRAID The call was simple, but the job was not. Help was needed and money was in it for all. An up and coming criminal organization was looking to use quirks in their newfound usefulness to increase their power and influence. However, save for a few loyal members and a ton of capital, that organization had very little. It needed more. More power, more weapons, and more members. So it offered up jobs. Jobs that could separate the small-time criminals from the real heavy hitting villains. It was time to get the ball rolling! So the first offer went up without much warning. All over the dark web and various criminal networks, a call was sent for those willing to answer. A job was being offered and plenty of money was ready to be paid out.
Another organization had caught wind of this one's creation and was looking to nip them in the bud. They were the Empty Pocket Gang. A collection of small-time criminals looking to use their quirks to gain control, just like this new one. They were planning a robbery of the recently opened military base Semper Fi. With their quirks, they felt as though they could make short work of the soldiers inside and anyone else that tried to stop them. And who wanted to stop them? Who was this new organization? It was the Abyss Syndicate.
Those that took up the offer were to meet about a mile out from the base at a small rest stop. Here, they were going to be given the information and details of the mission they were on. And of course, half their payment would be given at the start. For those that showed up, reputation, money, and power were awaiting them. It was going to be the start of a wonderous war.

"Yes, Eyes. I understand. I'll meet with you next week to discuss the matter. Okay. Bye." Ending the call with his boss, Alaster put his phone down, lied down on his bed, and sighed.
Lately, Alaster has begun to resent the gang he was working with. Most of his partners were incompetent. Eyes, one of the leader's admins and the person who gave Alaster his missions, seemed to blame everything that went wrong with the jobs on Alaster rather than the bloody idiots who went with him. The gang just didn't seem to satisfy him anymore. If not for the fact that he wanted to save up enough money to buy a house for he and Meiko to move into together, Alaster would have left them a long time ago. Perhaps the time to move on from the gang was soon. Perhaps Alaster needed to find something new.
Looking for jobs on his laptop, Alaster stumbled upon something interesting. A job that would pay well enough for him to be able to get started on finding that new house. And the best part about the job offer was that it wasn't from his gang. Smiling, Alaster chose to accept.
Alaster then had an idea. Taking out his phone, he called his girlfriend. Perhaps Meiko would be interested in going. After all, it was nice for the two of them to do more villainous things together. Meiko could also benefit in getting some cash to spend on whatever she saw fit. Plus, Alaster could use a reliable partner for once. To him no one made a more perfect partner than his beloved Meiko.
After telling her about the details of the job, Alaster was pleased to hear that Meiko was onboard for the job. Excellent! Even if the other people who accepted the job were a bunch of incompetent idiots, he could rely on Meiko to get the job done.
In his usual villain attire, Alaster began to make preparations. He decided to bring his knife, a handgun, some additional ammo for the gun, and light body armor. He also brought some extra things for Meiko in case she needed any. Despite the gang's incompetence, at least Alaster could rely on their small supply of weapons.
After petting Edgar and feeding the pet raven some food, Alaster headed out, locking his apartment door behind him. Calling a taxi, Alaster made his way to Meiko's place to meet with her. Then, the two could make their way to the meeting spot together.

~Meanwhile~ Meiko was in an alley with her old friend, listening to music and just loitering around. Her fluffy wolf friend was drawing graffitti of an all too familiar skull "Hey, 'member when we said that we was gonna make a gang? Whatever happened to that?" he asked his Lavender friend "Well...y'know... 3 people dont really make a gang. And he quit trying and did his solo thing. Not to mention,he aint a Vilain no mo'. Truly a shame" Meiko commented how her ex was gonna make a powerful gang, but had a hard time recruiting people and thus he quit the idea. Not to mention he became a Vigilante now "Yo, ever considered y'know... changing sides?" he asked her as he graffittied a wall "Not really. I mean it would've been fun if we assembled the Skull Gang and did wild shit. We would've been rich. But naaah. He had to quit" Meiko complained how their previous goal had failed and crashed and burned "Really? I dunno. It can still happen. Though, the group may not be Villainous, y'know? Maybe thats why he freaked out when he saw your Villain costume was basically ripping off his idea" he commented to his friend "Dude, the hell are you wearing. You're just as guilty as me" Meiko said annoyed "I know. I'm thinking 'bout finding Boss, I wanna talk to him and revive the whole gang idea" he said "You still calling him Bo-" just as Meiko wanted to say something, her phone rang. She answered it and it was Alaster "Hhheeeeey Honey Bun. Wazzup?" she greeted her lover by phone and motioned her friend to lower the music volume, which he quickly and clumsily did Meiko listened to Alaster speak and smiled "Its a date~ See yaaa~" Meiko said in a sing song tone and ended the call "Your new scary boyfriend?""He's not scary" "I beg to differ. But whatever. You do you""Kay. See ya Jaws" Meiko said bye to her friend and went home, so she could meet with Alaster

Nick needed money. It was a cold, harsh truth of life that to get anywhere you had to have as much of the stuff as possible. Currently he rather lacked for it; the allowance his dear Mother had sent him to Japan with was drying up and he was not quite prepared to face her to ask for more. It would be rather like begging to do so, too, which shamed him. He knew she would not hesitate to rub that in, either.
There was also the matter of the fact she had sent bloody goddamn Goro after him, an encounter from which he still had the bruises. Like hell she had not done that on purpose. He was not sure he could face her until he had calmed down from that. Considering the humiliation of his defeat still burned his soul like acid, he expected that may take some time.
And so, he found himself browsing the darker recesses of the Internet via his phone in search of a paying job that suited the needs of someone like him, someone who could not exactly take a job at the local convenience store. Not when he was wanted by the authorities.
He found it in the form of some gang or other – there were so many around, it was hard to keep track – who wanted bodies to commit a robbery. Were Nick not so very desperate, perhaps he would have thought twice about something so high risk, and even in his desperate state he did hesitate for a moment or two.
Then his stomach rumbled just in time to remind him what was truly at stake.
That was how he ended up leaving Nari’s house and making for the rendezvous point the gang instructed. Once again he did not go as Nick Cross, scourge of Yuuei, but as the humble, unassuming tourist Sam Turner, sporting a blonde wig, fake moustache, blue contacts and plain clothes not meant to draw any attention. Even if they were going to commit nefarious deeds, he still needed to travel in public to get to the rendezvous point, so going as his true self simply would not do.

Empty PocketsTHEY CALL ME DEVIL, AND YOU SHOULD BE AFRAID As the three villains started toward the meeting spot, instructions were being set for them when they arrived. A courier for the person paying for the job would arrive before them. They were never going to meet the three of them and instead, leave a set of instructions in the back room of the rest stop. It seemed like something the owner wouldn't be okay with, but money had a nice way of making people do what was needed. So, moments before the three arrived, the courier handed the woman behind the counter two envelopes. One as for her and the other was for the three hired for the job. Her envelope had a sizeable wad of cash and a short message. It wanted her to leave the second envelope in the back and only allow those that knew the password to go and get it. It instructed her that there were three of them and Not to let anymore or less in. It was up to them how they dealt with that. She placed the envelope in the back for the ones that were supposed to arrive and went about her business. And just as the courier left, the three should have been just about there.
The message in the back was simple as well. It had the first half of their payment. It was a sign a goodwill to see what kind of integrity the hired help had and if they were going to take the money and do the job, or take the money and be put on the syndicate's hit list. Either way, it was a good method if seeing who was worthy of the more lucrative jobs and who needed to be weeded out and moved out of the way of the Syndicate's plans. The password the three of them needed was a simple phrase that they were messaged when they took the job online. "Keikaku means plan," said in English was what they needed to tell the woman to be let in the back. As for the message, it was the description of the job and where they needed to go.
The rest was up to them to figure out and that line of thought was what they were being paid for. The job? They were going to foil a robbery. A rival gang was planning to rob the armory of Semper Fi not that it was less secure while opening up to the public. The weapons the army had was a huge advantage for any gang trying to take control of a city. And if they were able to steal the weapons and return them to the rest stop, an additional bonus was waiting for them. They were, of course, warned that the other people trying to steal these weapons weren't weak at all. They were bold enough to try and steal from a military base. But, if they were able to stop the robbery itself, that was enough to get paid the base amount. How they did that was up to them.

As the taxi headed to Meiko's place, Alaster began to get a bit impatient. Jeez, he just had to be stuck with what was probably the slowest taxi driver in history. The man drove at well below the speed limit, always stopping at every stop sign and at every traffic light. With how slow they were going, Alaster almost began to miss Wheels. That guy was annoying as hell and didn't know when to shut up, but at least he drove quickly. Plus, being able to turn any vehicle he was driving invisible would have been great. The white haired villain sighed in frustration.
Alaster began imagining how convenient it would be to just have his own car. Of course, that would be the next thing he would save up for after he bought the house. He looked forward to the day he could finally live together with his beloved Meiko. Of course, before that could happen, Alaster needed to complete this job, which meant that he had to actually get to his destination.
"Hurry up and drive faster. I'm in a hurry, thank you!"
After telling Alaster to relax, the driver had fortunately listened to Alaster's request. He was driving much faster now, although he was careful not to exceed the speed limit.
Several minutes later, the taxi had finally arrived in front of Meiko's place. There she stood, waiting for the taxi. Alaster opened the taxi door to let his girlfriend in. Once Meiko entered the taxi, Alaster closed the door behind her. He then kissed her cheek before speaking. "I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting for so long, my love. If I knew that this taxi was being driven by a turtle, then I would have just called Wheels instead. That oaf is a loudmouth, but at least he doesn't take an eternity to drive."
The taxi driver (who incidentally looked like a bipedal turtle due to his mutation quirk) ignored Alaster's comment. Instead, he asked where to drive the couple to. Alaster gave him the location of the meeting spot. As the taxi drove down the street, Alaster began cuddling with Meiko. He just couldn't resist. "So how was your day, my love?"
About ten minutes later, the couple had arrived at their destination, Alaster paid the turtle driver, opened the door for Meiko, and then followed her out of the taxi. Alaster began looking around. Apparently, they were meeting up with one more person for the job. Alaster was a bit curious to find out who he and Meiko would be working the job with. Fortunately for him, he did not need to wait long to get his answer. Hearing footsteps approaching, Alaster turned in the direction of the person walking their way. He was surprised to see just who it was.
Alaster did not expect to see Nick of all people here. He was in his Sam Turner disguise, but Alaster recognized him immediately. Alaster didn't think that he'd see Nick again so soon. This would of course be the first time Nick saw Alaster outside of his day job as an author. He might possibly find it strange and maybe even unnerving to see Alaster squinting rather than having open and bright eyes, his hair messy rather than combed back, or his small yet warm smile replaced with a cold and creepy slasher smile. From Nick's perspective, it was as though Alaster were a completely different person.
Alaster smiled at Nick as he spoke to him. Even Alaster's voice was different from what Nick was used to, lacking the warmth and cheeriness that Alaster used while in his civilian persona. "Ah, good to see you. I hope you weren't kept waiting too long."
This was certainly going to be a very interesting time.

Meiko didnt need to wait Alaster for long as he just arrived in a taxi. Her beloved, like a true gentleman, opened the door for her. Meiko giggled and sat in the cab. She was kissed on the cheek, which made her blush a bit, he then apologized that she waited. Meiko couldnt help but giggle at the turtle remark before she reassured him "Dont worry my Love. I didnt wait much. It's no problem at all"
After she reassured Alaster that she did not mind waiting, he asked her how was her day. "It was fairy uneventful and normal. Nothing much worth of note. But I'm sure it's gonna be much more fun now~" she said excitedly
10 minutes later, the couple arrived at their destination. Shortly after they arrived a new set of footprints was heard. She looked at the direction of the noise and saw..... quote unquote 'Sam'. Who was actually Nick, thanks to the Villain Chat "Awkwaaaarrdd" Meiko thought to herself when she remembered their encounter and her... tactics. "Sheesh, and I just used my shield. Imagine if I legit tried to flash our foe. I think it would've been supereffective on everyone" she jokingly thought
Ah well, Meiko just decided to shrug it off and let Alaster do the talking. Though, she wont lie, she was excited to do Villanous things as Lady Lavande with Alaster.... and Nick the Third Wheel

Nick reached the rendezvous point without any hassle, which he swore was an increasing rarity for him. Anticipation ate at him from the inside. It appeared he was not the first to arrive. He stopped in his tracks at the sight of the two other people waiting there, unable to believe what his eyes were feeding his brain.
Krowe. It was Krowe. He was looking more dishevelled than the last time Nick had seen him, but there was no mistaking his favourite author, alongside whom he had nearly been shot to pieces after an insane soldier had hijacked the course they had undertaken together. And with him…
Nick could hardly believe his luck, or lack thereof. With Krowe was the highly suspect girl who had first harassed Nick about one his classmates under his favourite name of ‘Rin’, and then sparred beside him against an overly violent soldier while claiming her name was ‘Meiko’. He had little clue which name was her real one, but he supposed he would go with Meiko since that was the last name she had used around him.
He did not feel her name mattered quite as much as the fact he had, maybe, ogled her chest back during the spar, though. A little. And if the conversations in the chat were anything to go by, she somewhat knew he had.
“Well,” he remarked. “This is a bit awkward.” The understatement of the century for sure. He sighed a long, heavy and weary sigh. “You both know who I really am. This disguise is to keep me hidden from the public, so when we’re around anyone else I’m Sam, not Nick, got it? Good.” He added the ‘good’ without waiting for them to actually answer.
In truth, he felt a strong gnawing irritation that the situation had turned out the way it had. What the hell were the chances that out of all the people who could have answered the call, the two to show up would be the two people he had had any significant interaction with at the military camp?
His only solace was that at least his idiot brother Goro was not among them. He may actually have snapped and gone on a killing rampage if he had been.
He narrowed his suspicious gaze at Krowe, or the man he had known only as Krowe up until this point. He wondered now if Krowe was truly the man’s name.
“Should’ve known there was something off about you,” he said. “I was beginning to get the feeling there was, but I should’ve made the connection between you and the crow guy in the chat the moment I saw you use those crows the way you did back there.” And the fact, well, his pseudonym was Krowe. Nick tried not to feel stupid for not guessing from that, but maybe a part of him had been in denial, not wanting to acknowledge that the author of his favourite books could possibly be some kind of rogue.
“So here we are,” he continued. “If we’re all that’s taking part in this, may I suggest we get on with it?”
Again without waiting for an answer he headed into the small rest stop building and approached the bored-looking woman behind the desk. He glanced around to make sure no one was looking and then leaned in slightly.
“Keikaku means plan,” he said.
...He felt silly saying that.

Well, Nick said it. It was awkward indeed. Still, there were far worse people who could have shown up. It was actually a bit of a relief to see Nick. He wasn't perfect, but at least he proved to be reliable in the past.
Alaster had figured that Nick's disguise was meant more to conceal himself from the public rather than Alaster and Meiko, and Nick himself confirmed this. Alaster still did not get why Nick needed to be disguised to begin with, but decided not to pry. He probably had his reasons.
As Nick spoke, saying that he should have realized that something was off about Harry R. Krowe, Alaster chuckled. In truth, he wasn't exactly trying to be subtle about it. After all, he did leave some clues about his day job in chat. Still, that was not relevant right now. The three were here for the job, not to socialize about fake identities. When Nick suggested they get a move on as there was no one else to wait for, Alaster agreed. "Yes, let's get this job over with." He and Meiko then followed Nick to the rest stop building.
As the three villains entered the building, Alaster saw a woman behind the desk, seemingly bored out of her mind. This must be the one that message spoke about. They needed to tell her the password. Alaster watched as Nick approached the woman and tell her the password. Her expression immediately changed. It was clear that Alaster and Meiko were with Nick, but it seemed as though all three had to say the password. Alaster leaned close to the woman and muttered just loud enough for her to be able to listen. "Keikaku means plan."
As soon as Meiko had done the same, the woman nodded. "Good. You're able to follow instructions, at least. Very well. Follow me." Getting up from her desk, she walked toward the back room. The trio followed close behind. As soon as she reached the door, she took out a key and unlocked it. "Hurry inside, take what you came in for, and then go." Carefully watching over the door, the woman let Meiko, Nick, and Alaster inside, making sure that no one else was approaching.
Once inside the back room, Alaster immediately noticed an envelope on the surface of a small table. He was first to pick it up. Opening it, he saw the contents inside and smiled. It was details of the job, plus half of their payment. Alaster was surprised by how much money was inside. And this was only half? With this, plus the rest of the payment from after they complete their mission, Alaster would have more than enough to get a house for he and Meiko to move into together.
Taking his cut of the money, Alaster left the rest of the money on the table for Meiko and Nick to take. As they did so, Alaster took out and began reading the note that described the details of the job. So their mission was to foil the plans of another gang by stopping their robbery of military weapons. The robbers were no jokes and would have to be taken very seriously. And there was even a bonus for taking the weapons themselves and dropping it off at the rest point? How interesting! Once he was done reading, Alaster left the note on the table for Nick and Meiko to look at.
Once they had finished looking at the note, the woman looked inside the room. "Are you finished now? Then go." Jeez, she was really in a hurry to get the villainous trio out as soon as possible! The three left the back room and exited the building.
Once they were outside, and there was no one around to listen in, Alaster looked at his two comrades. "All right then! Let's work on a plan." It was imperative that they succeed in their mission, so whatever plan they devised right now needed to be absolutely flawless. They could not afford to screw this up.

Well Nick or Sam or whoever said it out loud, what she thought. She then listened how Nick spoke to her Master. How he should've known there was something off about him. He also mentioned 'crow guy' in the chat. So he connected Alaster to the chat "Does he know Im LavenderSkull?" Meiko thought to herself
She shrugged that off and followed her lovers lead. They entered the buidling and saw a woman that was bored of her skull. Nick approached the woman first and said the thing. But even though he said it, it seemed that Alaster and Meiko had to do the same. Alaster was the next who done it and Meiko was the last "Keikaku means plan." she whispered "I feel silly saying this shit" she thought to herself as she said it
The woman then opened the back room door and allowed the trio in. She watched as Alaster took an envelope. When he was done, Meiko saw what was there. She gladly took her cut of the money. Happy she could finally live with ~him~
She then saw a note and breezed through it. Once they were all done, they went outside, Alaster was the first that said that they needed a game plan. "Well. I'll let you two come up with a plan. Because TBH, I never did this whole teamwork thing. I dunno how to plan with multiple people" Meiko said as she shruged. She was submissive after all. Hell, Nick even had no clue what kind of a submissive bitch she was. What Alaster decided, she would go with it. That went with this plan too.

Nick was satisfied with the weight of the envelope he received. Enough. He stuffed it into his pocket and made sure it was secure.
When Meiko basically left him and Krowe to it, his eyes almost rolled right out of his skull and down the street. Of course she was no bloody help. He could have seen that one coming from a light year away. He fought back the urge to slap her useless self silly from frustration, which took quite a hefty chunk of willpower.
“Well, it can’t be that difficult,” he remarked with a sarcastic shrug. “We’re only going to break into a highly guarded military encampment full of men armed to the teeth with the most advanced weaponry known to mankind. No big deal, am I right?”
He could not have sighed harder.
Still, he had no choice but to try and come up with something. He twirled a strand of fake blonde hair as he thought. “I suggest alerting or luring the military guards to this rival group that are trying to break in first, letting them have at each other and then swooping in and mopping up whoever survives. Of course, I’m going to assume this other group have Quirks, which the military do not, so it’s quite fifty-fifty who’ll win such a confrontation. Whoever it is, though, they’ll be tired, wounded and, if the military, low on bullets, which makes them simpler for us. Then, we take what weapons we can and get the hell out of there. We’ll have to fight our way out, I suppose, but that’s kind of inevitable. If we grab stun grenades and sleeping gas from the armoury – and gas masks for ourselves, naturally – we should be able to incapacitate whatever backup will have arrived by then and get out relatively safely.”
It was really not a great plan, or even a good plan. With no weapons provided for them, however, it was the most he could think of.
“Though if you have any other ideas, Krowe – or whatever your name truly is – let’s hear them.”

Ah Mr. Glass Half-Full, Alaster thought sarcastically. Well aren't you just overflowing with optimism! Still, Nick did have a point. This job would not be easy. Light-years far from it, in fact. Despite the very gargantuan risk, the equally enormous reward was worth it. They needed to come up with a solid plan. With how difficult the job would undoubtedly be, going in without one was just plain idiocy.
It was a shame that Meiko wished to let Alaster and Nick do the planning. Alaster had faith that his girlfriend could think of a wonderful plan if she tried. Still, he did not blame her if she truly could not think of anything. Better to let her stay out of it than try to force her to come up with a rushed plan that would backfire horribly.
Fortunately, it seemed that Nick was ready to step up to the plate. Alaster was honestly impressed with Nick's suggestion. Have the military come in to defend their goods from the rival gang, have the two wear each other out, and then the three villains could swoop in and finish off both groups. Thus, they take the weapons with them and get away with very little opposition, if any. Not bad, Nick. Not bad at all.
"That looks like it can be a decent idea, actually. I'm impressed, Nick." Alaster considered jokingly patting Nick on the head, though he ultimately decided against it. The last thing he needed was unnecessary conflict screwing everything up before the job even started. Nick was not someone he wanted to antagonize right now. He needed everyone to get along. The best laid plans often go awry when teammates bicker and argue.
When Nick asked Alaster if he had any better ideas (while questioning if Krowe was even his real name), Alaster chuckled. "For now, just call me Crowley. And as for ideas..." Alaster took out his bag. "I came bearing a few gifts." Opening the bag, Alaster showed Nick and Meiko the weapons inside, letting them take whatever they wished. "It's not much, but it's better than nothing. After all, your plan won't work so well if we go in unarmed."
It was only a few handguns, a silencer, some body armor, extra ammo, and several knives. Still, if they were careful, then this could maybe prove to be enough. "Here's what I'm thinking. We stick to stealth. We hide for as long as possible and kill as quietly as we can so as not to attract unnecessary attention. Once we kill a person, we take their weapons, plain and simple. Yes, you both have your quirks, but it's better to save them for when it's absolutely necessary. Why bring out the big guns on small fry?"
In truth, Meiko and especially Nick probably did not need any of these weapons and armor. Of the three, Alaster's quirk was the one least suited for combat, so he'd probably have a greater need for the weapons than the other two. Still, he had a point. It was better for the two to save their quirks for when it was truly necessary. That way, they would not be in a state where they would need their quirks, but not be able to use them.
With that out of the way, the only things left to do was to get to where the robbery was going to take place, and of course, alert the military of the robbery. As for who would get to be the one to make that call...
"I think it would be best for you to call the military, love." Alaster smiled as he talked to Meiko. "After all, who could resist your alluringly beautiful voice? Besides, I doubt that Nick or I would be able to do anywhere near as good a job at that as you could." Alaster had faith in Meiko. She was going to be fine.

This wasnt being submissive. This was pure inexperience. And she was sad she let down Alaster. But the truth was she just never did it. Before, it was just her. She was alone. And thus her mind really did draw nothin but a blank. Meiko never considered herself as smar either, so she did not wanna risk some retarded half assed plan idea.
Nick on the other hand came up with a decent plan. She didnt comment as she was too ashamed to speak. So she just gave him a thumbs up. As her say to say that she liked the plan.
Alaster then revealed a bag with weapons. Meiko though wasnt sure if she should share her Quirk with the men. She could summon 4 weapons. Should she say which ones? Should she reveal how much she can summon them daily? Nick is there after all. There was also something else, Alaster wanted her to call the military. Considering she was a let down when it came toplanning, the least she could do is make a simple call "Very well. If you insist" She was worried she was gonna mess up. She wanted to ask what lines should she say or should she wing it. But didnt. She wanted to appear professional infront of Nick

To Nick’s surprise, the two seemed to accept his plan – but that was good. While he was not the most confident in it himself, he was still certain it was superior to anything they would have conjured up. He had just expected them to argue for their own ideas. Or at least for Krowe – or should that have been ‘Crowley’ – to do so, as Meiko was apparently of no use. He hoped she would not remain that way.
Crowley. The name stuck in his mind and he made a mental note to look it up later. Then he would see, he supposed, what kind of person his favourite author truly was, if there was any information out there to find.
For the time being, he watched Crowley open the bag he had with him. Within it were a few handguns, a silencer, several knives and body armour. Well, that solved the ‘unarmed except for their Quirks’ problem and then some.
Nick did not remain smiling for long, however. He remembered something about the camp that made a frown fall across his features. “The only issue with these is they search us for weapons on the way in. You’ll have to have some crows carry them into the camp for us.”
His train of thought was thrown when Alaster suddenly addressed Meiko. Wait, did he just call her ‘love’? It took a second or two for things to click. Ah. How the hell could I have forgotten their interactions in the chat?
Somehow the situation had become even more awkward than it had already been. Nick was unfamiliar with the term ‘third wheel’, but he definitely felt like one.
“Let’s hurry to the camp,” he said, even more desperate now to move things along. “We don’t have a lot of time.”

Ah, right. Weapons search. How in the bloody hell could Alaster have neglected to remember that? Fortunately, Nick pointed out that Alaster could have his crows carry the weapons. Alaster had never really considered that as an option, seeing as he had never commanded his crows to carry things before. It was possible in theory for the crows to carry the weapons that were light enough, as long as the command was simple enough for the crows to understand.
"Not a bad idea, Nick. As long as no one notices the crows incoming, that should work out just fine. Just be aware that they have to stay within about ten meters of me to remain under my control."
Nick had once again made a valid point. They should get going to the base. There wasn't any time to waste. Alaster began to think. They would have just enough time if they walk to their destination. However, a vehicle could come in handy if things go south and they need to make a quick getaway. Of course, they could not leave the vehicle too close to the camp. The military would undoubtedly get suspicious if they saw it.
Taking out his phone, Alaster began calling Wheels. If anyone could be useful to him right now by bringing a sturdy vehicle, it was his fellow gang member Wheels. Once Wheels picked up, Alaster told him that he was in the middle of a mission (while conveniently leaving out certain details of the mission, as involving Wheels in this just meant that they had to split the money with him as well), and then asked him how close he was to their location. Thankfully, he was somewhat close to the area, and it would only take him ten minutes to get there with a spare vehicle. Considering that walking to the base would take half an hour at the very least, having to wait only ten minutes was not too bad.
Alaster notified Meiko and Nick that they would be waiting for a vehicle, so that they would not be alarmed at Wheels's arrival. Ten minutes later, the loudmouth driver pulled in in a four door vehicle. It looked sturdy, which was good if things were really bad and they were getting shot at. Wheels even went out of his way to provide extra weapons and ammo in the trunk of the car.
"I'm not even going to ask what you kids are up to. And don't worry about where I got the car. Just have a fun time, okay?" As Wheels chuckled, Alaster paid the older man and told him to hurry up and leave already. "Geez, okay, okay! Don't get your panties in a twist, Crowley!" As he turned to leave, Wheels noticed Meiko and grinned. "Crowley, call me if you want me to drive you and your lady somewhere again. Last time was fun!" As annoying as Wheels was, Alaster did have to admit that chucking beer bottles out the car window with Meiko whilst Wheels kept the limo invisible with his quirk was a very fun time. Perhaps he could consider Wheels's offer some other time.
Once Wheels walked away and was out of sight, Alaster took the car keys and opened the door for Meiko. Once she got inside, Alaster entered the car and sat in the driver's seat. Nick would be able to sit in the back. It was a good thing he got his driver's license not too long ago. The last thing they needed was for the police to stop them. Of course, being stopped for not having a license was the least of their concerns.
"All right, comrades. Let's do this!" Alaster began driving down the road, making his way to the base. Of course, they would not stop right in front of the base itself. Rather, they would park the car from a certain safe distance and then walk the rest of the way there.
