It was another lonely night for Alaster. It was late, but he wasn't tired at all. He was just bored out of his mind. Nothing to do at all. Not even Villain Chat could entertain him at the moment. He considered calling Meiko, but she was most likely asleep at this hour, and the last thing Alaster wanted was to disturb his beloved's beauty sleep. He'll just call her in the morning.
Alaster opened the fridge, hoping to get drunk and pass the time that way. Sadly, the only drinks in the fridge were milk, orange juice, water, and a large half empty bottle of Epsi. Sighing, Alaster decided to call a taxi. "Time to head to the bar, I guess."
Alaster changed into his usual villain attire, not really feeling like wearing anything else at the moment. Taking his bag with him and locking the door behind him, Alaster left his apartment and headed downstairs to wait for the taxi. Five minutes later, it had arrived. Getting in, Alaster told the driver where to drive to. As they drove down the street, Alaster looked out the window, bored out of his mind. At least the full moon looked nice tonight.
The taxi stopped in front of Ramos's Bar and Grill. After paying the driver, Alaster got out and headed inside the bar. Ah, this place. This was now the third time Alaster had visited this particular bar. The last time he was here, he had fun with Meiko on their date. The time before that, he plotted the demise of Shigure Kagenuma with the help of the bartender Saori Madaraki. That was fun. Alaster smiled as he remembered going after Kagenuma in the alley right beside this bar. His mind then went to the woman who interfered but ultimately helped with that job. Brooke, or whatever her real name was. Would they meet again? Did they already know each other in Villain Chat? Would they ever work on another job together? Did it honestly even matter?
As usual, Saori was the one who greeted him from behind the counter. "Welcome back, Crowley! What can I get you?" Alaster ordered a random drink, not really caring for a specific one. After paying for his drink (no matter how many times Saori said that it was fine getting one free drink, Alaster insisted on paying her anyway), Alaster made his way to one of the empty tables. He sat down in a seat, took a sip of his drink, and then took out a notebook and began writing. He never wrote anything while hammered before, but there's always a first time for everything.
All in all, this was a pretty nice bar. Alaster understood now why Kagenuma frequented this place back when that scumbag was alive. Alaster considered bringing Meiko here again in the future. After pausing for a bit, Alaster began to write some more.

Empty...empty...empty.
Nari didn't really keep alcohol in her house, she knew her mother liked to have a glass of red wine from time to time but she couldn't find even a bottle of that in the fridge. Anytime she had consumed alcohol, she was out of it within minutes. She was what you would consider a lightweight in this situation. She wasn't sure f it was because she didn't drink alcohol normally or if it had something to do with her quirk. Either way, she tried to avoid it as much as she could. Except tonight...she wanted to take another stab at it to see if she truly was a lightweight. Sure she had no one to drink with, but that didn't mean she couldn't have fun by herself.
She left a small note for her mother before dressing in a different sort of manner, just for tonight. She wore a mauve colored cocktail dress with a red lip to accent the vast change in color shades. The only thing that remained was her normal bun up-do she kept her brunette locks into, it was just a hassle to take it down. She had rarely worn such a dress but she figured, if she was going out it may be more appropriate to dress somewhat fancy. With a tan pair of small heels, the brunette grabbed a purse and went out the door to catch a ride into downtown. She would walk, but she wasn't all that proficient in heels.
Luckily, there was a taxi willing enough to transport her into downtown. She had seen one bar that caught her eye last time, the same bar where that scumbag who killed her father went to only minutes before his demise. That certainly was a fun night, she wondered if she would bump into that Crowley person again, what a strange person he was. She was sure if they fought off in a battle of quirks she would most definitely win, but perhaps they could do that some other time. After the short ride and avoiding a pass from the driver, the green eyed girl got out from the car and made her way inside to the bar.
Nari looked around, noticing the types of patrons the bar held, people of all shapes, sizes, and quirks. She could fit right in here, no room for suspicion. The girl took a seat at the bar, watching as the woman behind the counter mixed drinks for the other guests. She was fairly pretty, someone like her probably had a partner though, o there was little use even trying. When the woman came over, Nari spoke up, "I'll take a cosmopolitan please," she asked, watching as the woman left to make her drink. Perhaps she'll just try a drink or two and then head home, it didn't seem like she could do much of anything else anyway.

Taking another sip of his drink, Alaster was slowly beginning to get tipsy. Still, it wasn't really enough. He could still drink more. Looking at what he has written on his notebook so far, Alaster began giggling. This mini story was just ridiculous! He wrote about a bird that was constantly beaten by a bunch of evil monkeys. The poor bird finally had enough and lashed out on its attackers, killing them all. He couldn't write something crappy like that and send it to Sato to be published! He could write far better than that! Alaster crossed out all of the words with his feather pen, ripped the page out of the notebook, crumpled it into a paper ball, and threw it at the nearest trash bin. It missed completely, so Alaster got up , and with drink still in hand, went to pick it up and dispose of it properly.
As he threw the crumpled page away, Alaster noticed the bar door open and saw her walk inside. The woman from that night! Brooke, or whatever it was! As she ordered her drink, Alaster made his way to greet her.
"You! Hey, you! Long time no see! How's it been?" Smiling at her, Alaster then turned to Saori and got her attention. "Hey Saori! Remember when I told you that I had a friend help kill that Kagenuma prick? This lady here is the one that I was talking about. She dealt the killing blow. It's thanks to her that there's now one less piece of garbage infesting this world!"
Saori smiled. "Ah, so you're the famous Brooke that finished off that scum who killed my brother. Thank you so much! Whatever you want to buy is on the house! It's the least I can do to thank you for what you've done!" She then handed over a glass. "Here you go, sweetie. One cosmopolitan. Just ask me if you need anything else, okay?"
Perhaps it was because Alaster was pleased to see "Brooke" again, or maybe it was because he was still bored, or maybe it was because of the alcohol in his system, but Alaster wanted to have a conversation with her. It sure beats drinking alone, at any rate. "So how's life treating you, Brooke?"

Not too long after she sat down, she heard a rather loud booming voice seemingly come her way. Oh no, that voice sounded familiar...was it really? Nari turned only slightly before the white haired man was next to her, taking the bar stool to her right and asking her how she had been. "A-Ah...I've been fine. You know, you don't have to speak so loudly, I can hear you perfectly," she said looking at him before blinking. How much has he had to drink to make him act like this? The brunette's eyes widened when she heard him shout that she was the one that killed that Kagenuma fellow to the bartender. She grabbed his coat and pulled him close. "Are you trying to get me found out you bumbling idiot!" she said, her voice quiet yet stern. Because of him she'd have to leave before she even got her drink! Lucky for her though, the bartender was not afraid at his words nor had anyone else heard what the clearly drunk Crowley had said or at least didn't acknowledge.
Nari slowly turned her head once she heard the woman behind the bar speak up, thanking her for her job ad saying that her drinks were on the house tonight. Huh? Did she hear that correctly? Someone was thanking her for killing? She shook the thought from her head and let go of Crowley before turning her full attention to the attractive bartender. "You really do not have to. I had some business with him that needed taking care of," she said a bit frantically while trying to maintain a calm attitude, she didn't want to be praised for her work, that's not what villains do. Before long, her cosmopolitan was placed in front of her, it's pink and orange hues mixing together inside the small glass. The brunette looked back up at the bartender, seeing her smile and say if she needed anything else just to ask. "A-Alright..." she said almost timidly as she watched the attractive woman walk away and tend to some other patrons. She couldn't help but get just a bit flustered at gorgeous people who were genuinely nice to her.
Nari took a sip of her drink before setting it down, hearing Crowley speak up next to her once more. She was surprised he was still here speaking with her, perhaps he had nothing else better to do. With a soft sigh and a quick mix of her drink, she turned back to Crowley, crossing her legs before speaking up to respond to his question, "Life is fine, nothing out of the ordinary. How have you been since the last time we met?" she asked him, taking another small sip of her fancy drink.

Alaster had not realized that he was speaking so loudly until Brooke had pointed it out. And thinking about it, perhaps it was foolish of him to exclaim the fact that she had been the one to kill him. Fortunately for her, nobody besides Saori had listened in, and everyone in the bar was either part of the same gang that employed Alaster, hated Kagenuma, or both. Even if someone else was eavesdropping, no one here would rat her out to the police. If anything, they would thank Brooke for killing Kagenuma.
Lowering his voice to just below that of his indoor voice, Alaster spoke to Brooke. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize I was being so loud. And I didn't mean to almost blow your cover either. I apologize. To be honest, I really don't drink all that often, so I'm not aware that this happens." Alaster looked at his glass. What? How was it almost empty? He could have sworn that he only had a few sips. Had he really drank that much without realizing it?
"Life's been okayish, I suppose. A mix of good and bad to be honest. On one hand, I want to save up money to buy my lady a house for us to move into. Unfortunately, the people I work with are a bunch of bloody idiots who keep letting me down. We failed a few jobs recently, and only one of them was because of some outsider rather than my incompetent partners. I hate failure, but more importantly, I hate wasting my time for nothing! If I'm not getting paid for a job, then I'd rather spend my time doing something that's actually worthwhile, like writing a story, or playing the organ, or being with my beloved."
Alaster kept smiling, but also made sure not to be loud like earlier. "On the other hand, my books have been doing really well, and I'm getting better at the organ. But more importantly, I took my girlfriend out on a wonderful date a while ago. It was amazing. God, I love her so much! Once we move in together and I get more money rolling in, I want to propose to her. Not right away, though. I don't want to rush this and screw everything up. This is literally the first time in my life that I've ever been happy, and the last thing I want is to screw this up, too. I can't lose her. I just can't!"
Although Alaster only spoke for about a minute or two at most, he felt like he had rambled on and on for hours. He stared at his empty glass. Well, time to get a refill! Before asking Saori for another drink, Alaster asked Brooke, "Hey, are you hungry right now? Because if so, I can buy you something to eat. My treat. It's the least I can do to thank you for putting up with my boring blabbing."

The green eyed girl was thankful that Crowley had at least lowered his voice for her sake, even listening to him as he apologized for being loud and almost blowing her cover like that in front of everyone. With a small sigh, she responded before he began talking again, "It's alright, you didn't really mean to." The brunette took another sip of her drink before looking into her glass, she had tried pacing herself but she could already start to feel a nice happy buzz inside her body from the sweet tasting alcoholic drink in her hand.
Nari looked up at Crowley as he began talking, most of what he said flying over her head. Perhaps it was due to the alcohol, perhaps she just didn't care, she couldn't really tell. All she really got out of it was hearing something about a book, living in a house, and marrying a girl. The thought of being in such a serious relationship made Nari gag a bit. Sure everyone wants companionship at some point, but to be all mushy about it made her sick to her stomach. Keep your damn lovey dovey feelings to yourself. Nari took another sip of her drink, only to find it was empty as well. The glass wasn't that big to start off with so she probably drank more than she realized. Nari turned back to the waitress and flagged her down. "May I have another as well as a bloody mary please?" she asked before turning to Crowley, hearing him mention something about food. "Ah yes, it might be good to eat something. Drinking on an empty stomach is not the smartest of choices. I'll just about anything right now so order what you wish," she spoke, a small smile coming to her face.
The cute bartender soon came back with Nari's drinks as requested, the green eyed girl softly thanking the woman before taking a sip of her cosmopolitan and her bloody mary. The cosmopolitan was good but the way the bloody mary went down tasted wonderful. Just like the blood she devoured when she used her quirk. This however was colder than the actual thing but still tasted good. A snicker left Nari's mouth, hearing him apologize for his snickering, "You've only had one drink it seems and you're already this out of it, get it together Crowley~"

Alaster's stomach began grumbling furiously. If it were a person, he would tell his stomach to stop being a whiny little bitch and just wait. Alaster ordered a hamburger for himself, whatever it was that Brooke felt like eating, and a refill of his drink. He he decided that after one more drink, he'd have had enough. He didn't want to drink too much now.
Then, Brooke had brought up a good point. He was already this out of it, and he had only a single drink. "Eh, I'll be fine. I've dealt with worse before. Anyway, it's good to hear that you're doing okay, Brooke. Or whatever you're really called."
Alaster sighed. He looked at his phone. More specifically, his eyes were on Villain Chat. Hmm, perhaps he could have a hilarious conversation on Villain Chat that he would regret in the morning. Nah, maybe later. For now, he was content with talking with Brooke.
A few minutes later, Saori was ready with Alaster's drink and burger. He still had no idea how the food was prepared so quickly, but he decided not to question it. Alaster sipped from his glass, but he didn't touch his burger yet. He decided to wait until Brooke's food was ready so they could eat at the same time.
"So Brooke, why don't you ramble on about something now? You listened to my story, unless you didn't? In any case, I want to hear your story. I promise I'll listen to you talk. You have my undivided attention." Another small sip of wine, Alaster listened carefully to anything she had to say.

A lot of what was on the menu were things Nari would never even think of getting, her clouded mind made everything on the piece of laminated paper in front of her look delicious. She could practically feel her mouth salivating just reading the descriptions of the dishes. Throwing all propperness out the window, the green eyed girl decided to get 2 plates of gyoza and dipping sauce to go with her bloody mary and practically finished cosmopolitan. Her stomach was begging for food after been given two drinks, if she were to go any longer without food, she feared she may not make it back home with how plastered she would be.
She dismissed his comment about 'Brooke' not being her real name, even though she was a little tipsy she wasn't stupid enough to reveal who she really was to this guy. Even though they had worked together, the doesn't mean she should be telling him her life story now. After what had seemed like forever waited for their order, the female waitress came back with their food orders, setting her gyoza down on the table and Crowley's hamburger down in front of him. Even his burger looked delicious to the blood drinker, but she had her own plates of food to worry about and consume. Just as quickly as the woman named Saori placed their plates down, the brunette had already picked up her chopsticks and consumed 2 of the gyoza on one plate of 6. She had almost missed the sauce it came with from how quickly she scarfed them down. Once she had gotten at least something in her stomach, the green eyed girl carefully wiped her mouth after eating a third gyoza, turning to Crowley once she had wiped away any mess she made.
She grabbed her bloody mary and took a drink while listening to the white haired man mention something about listening to her as she told him some interesting tidbits. As he had rambled on before, now she was given time to ramble on now, granting a listener from Crowley. Why did he want to listen to her talk Her life wasn't that exciting so why the need for some excitement? With a soft sigh and another drink of her bloody mary, she began speaking, "I suppose if you're that eager to listen to me, I can talk. I wouldn't say I have much to ramble about unlike you. I suppose recently I had helped out an acquaintance of mine, going as far as to let him stay at my home while he recovered. It's only been about 2 days since he's been there but his reactions are quite amusing. The first day I brought him to my home, his face had flushed a shade red darker than this drink when he took a look at my panties laying on the ground. Growing up now with just my mother to watch over me, it seemed like nothing to me but to him, he was a blushing virgin who had never once seen women's undergarments before," the brunette chuckled at this, remembering her 'friend's' reaction to seeing her black lacy panties on the bathroom floor.
"It was only today that he had come into the bathroom while I was in the tub, thankfully I had just submerged myself or else the poor boy would have gotten another eyeful of something he should not have seen. Knowing him, he probably would have needed a blood transfusion with how much he would have bled out while witnessing the sight," she said, laughing a little louder now. Why did she find this funny now? It was probably the alcohol's doing.

Once Saori had given the two their food, Alaster smiled. Now his stomach can stop whining so much. Picking up his hamburger, he slowly chewed away at it. It tasted so good. The bun with sesame seeds, the lettuce, the tomato, the small bit of ketchup, and especially the grilled beef. Saori even remembered not to add in the pickles. Alaster disliked pickles. He could not imagine why anyone would willingly want to eat them. They were disgusting in his opinion. Not the burger, though. The burger was just awesome.
Drinking from his glass, Alaster glanced at Brooke's food. He had no idea what that even was, but it probably was delicious. He decided to try it out one day if he could remember to do so. As Alaster finished his burger, he took a napkin and wiped his mouth clean. Even whilst drunk, he was not about to forget his manners. He was a crow, not a pig!
Alaster then listened as Brooke began to speak. She apparently helped out an acquaintance of hers during his time of need. That was sweet of her to do. Alaster smiled. He chuckled at hearing her friend see her panties, but then roared with laughter once she got to the part of almost being seen while bathing. "Bwahahaha!! Bloody hilarious! Bless your friend. And bless you too, Brooke. You're very kind. See, I don't get why society views us villains as evil. Just because we were screwed over more than everyone else doesn't mean that we're horrible human beings. Most heroes would not show the kindness you showed."
His eyes began wandering, looking all over the bar. He then noticed the jukebox. Suddenly, an idea appeared in his head. One that he would never act on whilst sober, and one that would mortify him if he was told that he had actually done this. "Hey Brooke, I have a brilliant idea. Let's...karaoke! It will be fun! Even if you never did this before, it's okay! Neither have I! First time for everything, right?"
Suddenly grabbing Brooke's hand (though very gently, and it was not at all difficult for her to break away if she really wanted to), Alaster made his way to the jukebox. It was getting difficult to stay upright, but Alaster somehow didn't fall down. "Here, you pick the song, and I'll get up on the stage and sing it. Then you can sing too! Unless you want to sing first? It's fine either way! After all, we're here to have some fun!" Alaster couldn't tell if Brooke was excited and wanted to sing along or if she was embarrassed and mortified by his drunken behavior. Either way, it was time to have some fun!

After she had finished her story, the bruennte gobbled down the rest of her gyoza and dipping sauce before taking a rather large drink of her bloody mary. She didn't really care about how much she drank, she was having fun, surprisingly, and was not going to stop for anyone. Nari made sure to clear her mouth of any stray dipping sauce before she somehow reapplied her lipstick with no flaws. The green eyed girl ordered another bloody mary and turned back to Crowley, beginning to chuckle once more. "Society is too uptight with how villains are. If they just understood our side of things instead of being so afraid, there would be nothing to fear in the first place. We are people too," she said, a frown turning on her face highly contrasting to the bright red cheeks the girl now adorned.
The girl was taken out of her thought when the white haired man beside her suggested that the two of them do some karaoke together. "E-Ehhh? Karaoke? I don't know, I'm not that good a-!" she spoke but couldn't finish her sentence as Crowley took her hand in his and taking her away from the bar and over to the rather large karaoke stand. Thankfully she managed to grab her new drink before Crowley whisked her away like that. It was as if he were eloping with her from hos he took her hand in his. Romantic but a bit sickening considering it was Crowley and not someone else.
The green eyed girl looked with semi-sleepy eyes at her drink and then at Crowley, listening as he explained that she should pick a song for him to sing and then he would do the same for her when he was done. Nari felt her head bob, signalling some sort of nod from the girl as she slowly turned towards the list of songs. With how much alcohol she had in her, it was a little hard to see what the songs were clearly. Perhaps...this one would do. Nari had clicked on a song that seemingly looked like 'Monochrome no Kiss' but could have been something else entirely from how impaired the brunette's vision was. Nari took a seat on the vacant plush chair and watched as Crowley got onto the stage. She took a smaller sip from her drink and watched as the white haired man began singing the song she had picked.

As Brooke began to choose a song, a few of the people at the bar took notice of what was happening, including Saori. When she saw that it was Alaster who was about to sing, she was somewhere between curious and horrified. "Damn it Crowley. What are you getting yourself into now?" She would not have given him that second drink if she knew what he was about to do. Alaster waited until Brooke had selected a song. Once it began playing, Alaster was curious. He never heard this song before. Not his usual taste in music, but it was pretty good despite that. He then realized that the lyrics would be in Japanese. His Japanese wasn't bad by any means, but he had expected to be singing in English. He had almost forgotten that he was not in Great Britain anymore. Oh well! He would just try his best despite the fact that his Japanese wasn't anywhere near as good as his English. The point was to have fun, so what could possibly go wrong? " Deai ni iro wa nakute
Monokuro fukinukeru
Suzushii yubi temaneku mama ni
Toketa ato no yakkai na koori mitai na watashi wo..." To put it simply, and very kindly, Alaster's singing was horrible. Were he sober, he would have died of embarrassment and shame from hearing all the booing and hissing. Still, he was drunk, so he didn't care. He was having the time of his life! Besides, Brooke had selected this song for him, and it would be rude of him to not see it through to the end. Screw the haters! As people kept booing and demanding that he get off the stage, Alaster just kept singing and flipping the crowd off. As soon as the song was over, all the people listening sighed in relief. They would all have preferred to be tortured via knives, needles, poison, or anything else over having to hear that awful singing again. Only two people clapped out of pity, with Saori being one of them. "Don't quit your day job, kid. Or your night job for that matter." Drowning out all the booing and laughing, Alaster bowed, smiling. "Thank you! Thank you very much! You've been a wonderful audience!" He would later regret this night once he was sober, but right now, he was glad he did this. It was so much fun! Getting off the stage (to the massive relief of pretty much everyone), Alaster wobbled to the jukebox to pick a song for Brooke. Looking through the song options, he didn't know any of these. He decided to just pick at random. Selecting the song and waiting until Brooke was ready, Alaster faced her and gave her a thumbs up. "You can do this! I have faith in you. The crowd will love you!" The whole crowd agreed. There was no way that this woman, or anyone for that matter, could sing any worse than Crowley. She had to be good, or at least decent in comparison, right? |

Nari couldn't help but laugh a bit as she heard the booing of the crowd around Alaster as he sang on stage. They way he sang mixed in with his impaired state was such a hilarious sight to behold. Who knew someone could ruin such a good song like that. He had two...maybe three drinks at the most and he sounded terrible! He was even flipping the crowd off as he sang, such a vulgar action~ Nari had managed to pull her phone out and record a small bit of what he sang and how he acted before placing her phone away, this was definitely some great blackmail~ Nari calmed herself down and took another drink of her bloody mary as Crowley came down off the stage and over to her before handing her the microphone. Nari took the microphone from the drunken man and sipped her own drink feeling the rush of tingles flow through her body as her own actions were a bit impaired. She slowly made her way up to the stage, keeping her posture and poise composed as Crowley walked over to the jukebox.
Nari placed the microphone back on the stand and took a deep breath, sure she had a bit to drink and she might be tipsy come now, but she would not blow a performance such as this because a bit of alcohol flowed through her system. She chuckled softly at the drunken white haired man's words, taking a listen to what song he had picked for her. She wasn't too familiar with it but she had heard it before. With a quick glance at the crowd, Nari soon began singing when her cue had hit:
Kono omoi wo keshite shimau niwa mada jinsei nagai desho? Yarinokoshi te'ru koto yarinaoshite mitai kara
Thankfully there was a small break after the first mini-verse for Nari to gain her bearings, her vision a little fuzzy but able to make out the words on the screen. For a drunken girl, she didn't sound half bad.
Yume no tsuzuki oikakete ita hazu nano ni Magarikunetta hosoi michi hito ni tsumazuku Ano koro mitai ni tte modoritai wakejanai no Nakushite kita sora wo sagashite'ru wakatte kuremasu you ni Gisei ni natta you na kanashii kao wa yamete yo
First full verse down, it was good that she was only singing the shorter version of the song. She didn't know the full song well and was afraid that even in her drunken state, she'd make a fool of herself.
Tsumi no saigo wa namida ja nai yo, zutto kurushiku seotte'ku n da Deguchi mienai kanjou meiro ni dare wo matte'ru no? Shiroi nooto ni tsuzutta you ni motto sunao ni hakidashitai yo nani kara nogaretai n da… genjitsu tte yatsu ka?
One more verse to go, just push through and sing your heart out~
Kanaeru tame ni ikite'ru n datte Sakebitaku naru yo Kikoete imasu ka? Bunan ni nante yatte'rarenai kara… kaeru basho mo nai no Yasashisa niwa itsumo kansha shite'ru Dakara tsuyoku naritai (I'm on the way) Natsukashiku naru konna itami mo kangei jan
Soon enough, the song came to a close and Nari looked out at the crowd, slightly panting as her body felt as heavy as led. She gripped onto the microphone stand for fear of falling over. Perhaps the alcohol was really kicking in now. Hopefully she did alright, the audience was quiet after she ended...did she mess up?

The crowd was silent. Brooke's performance had ended, but everyone was speechless. After listening to Brooke sing, Alaster was amazed. Bloody hell! The girl was brilliant! He was the first to begin clapping. Slowly, everyone else began to follow his lead. One by one, everyone at the bar was applauding. Everyone loved it, and not just because she was light-years better than Alaster in comparison.
Alaster raised his voice just loud enough for Brooke to be able to hear him clearly among the applause. "You were amazing! Hell, I didn't know you could sing! And so well at that!"
Then, a nearby man began snickering at Alaster. "Yeah, maybe you could take some lessons from her, Crowley. Who knows, with a few months of practice, you might go up from fucking awful to just really bad!" Some nearby people began to laugh. However, this did not faze Alaster. Despite being very drunk, his mind was not impaired enough to prevent him from quickly coming up with a retort.
"Like you're one to talk, Boulder! My drunk singing is still leagues better than your sober singing. Don't go throwing stones while you yourself live in a glass house!" Those who laughed earlier were now laughing even harder. It was true. On the night Alaster visited the bar to plot Kagenuma's demise with Saori, the two had been part of the poor victims who suffered pure torture when one of Alaster's fellow gang members tried his hands at karaoke. Boulder was even worse at singing than Alaster. Boulder had not yet had a drink, so he could not even use that as an excuse.
As Boulder gritted his teeth and walked away, Alaster then turned back to Brooke. "I think the crowd actually wants an encore!" Everyone was cheering in agreement. "So what do you say? One more song, or are you done for now?" He could understand if Brooke wanted to be done, but he really didn't mind listening to her sing once more.

What was this? A sudden uproar of clapping and whistles filled the tiny bar after the brunette had finished singing. A small blush crept to her pale green cheeks as she looked out in the crowd of people cheering for her. It was just a simple song; did they really have to cheer so hard like that? Amazing? A good singer? Sure, she had hummed to herself when she was doing chores at home but to think that other people would like the sound of her voice confused the girl. The attention was a bit embarrassing, not used to receiving such praise for something that seemed to come natural to the girl. Even Crowley was praising her, although he was drunk, so she wasn’t sure if his words were genuine or not.
As she was about to leave the stage, she watched as Crowley and a larger looking mad were bickering and teasing one another about their singing talent. The green eyes femme couldn’t help but snicker as the two sounded like little children fighting over a toy. Who knew grown men could act in such a humorous way. Nari sat down on the vacant chair on the stage, getting her drink from the nearby table and sipping on it as she watched the show unfold before her. Just as she began watching, though, the fun seemed to end when the stab to the burly man’s pride had been to much even for him.
Nari figured enough was enough, it was time for someone else to have the stage and sing their hearts out. Although no one seemed to want to sing next, rather, they wanted her to sing once more. Nari looked around in confusion before Crowley came up to her, asking if she would sing again. “A-Ah I wouldn’t mind doing another song…I didn’t really think people would want to listen to…to someone like me,” she said, feeling her cheeks heat up a bit more. How embarrassing. Nari looked through the selection of songs before picking one of her favorites, why not end it with a bit of a bang after all~?
Nari took her place back on the stage, holding the microphone in her hands as she waited for her cue to sing:
Watashi yo moete... Moete dakishimete miru no wa tsumi janai deshou? Hi de yami wo harae CHOIR JAIL
Nageitemo yume wa utawanai Koko de sakenda yo "Kotae wa dare ka ga motteru no" Utsumuita mama ja kizukanai Kimi no hitomi no naka Mirai wo sagasu

Once again, the crowd was silent as Brooke sang. Again, Alaster was the first to clap as soon as she finished. The rest of the people in the bar followed suit immediately. As the applause continued, Alaster heard someone yell out in the crowd. "Marry me!" He laughed. The gesture was nice, but definitely overboard. As if Brooke would end up marrying some stranger in a bar. Then again, he met Meiko in a cafe, so who knows what fate has in store?
Once Brooke got off the stage, Alaster smiled while continuing to clap. "Bravo! Again, everyone loved your performance. I honestly think that you could get a career in singing if you really wanted to." Unable to resist making a joke, he quickly added, "Unlike me, am I right?" Alaster continued laughing at himself. Sure he was horrible at singing, and everyone basically made fun of him for it, but at least he had some fun doing it. He may come to regret his actions in the morning, but right now, he regretted nothing.
"So that was fun, right? You should come back sometime to do some more karaoke if you want to. I'm sure everyone here would love to listen to you sing again. And if you want to, I can make a fool of myself onstage again while you record it this time! That would be a funny video to watch, now wouldn't it?" Unbeknownst to Alaster, Brooke had already done just that.
It was getting more and more difficult for Alaster to keep his balance. Almost falling to the floor, Alaster leaned against the stage for support. "Don't worry about me. I'm good! Anyway, I dragged you into karaoke, so it's only fair that you get to make me do something. Anything you have in mind, Miss Brooke?"
