Goliath was so happy when he got the kiss on the head that he basically coo'd or purr'd or whatever the sound of a giant isopod is when he is happy. Happy bug sounds
Chise continued to talk and say that Goliath is lonely and that she'll give him all the pets and cuddles he needs. Which made the Spirit Animal so happy that he'd really now just want to grab her off his back and snuggle with her and hug her. Thats how much he liked Chise
G allowed this "Sure, why not, you can be Mama Goliath and give him love and affection. I mean, I do it too. I feed him and brush him and train him. But sometimes, he does need a stern warning. Otherwise stuff happens."
Chise then spoke and said that Goliath could dive and look for shells. Goliath nodded and dived down below them. Chise was let go free and was now swimming with G while Goliath went to shell hunt
"If I had diving gear, we'd be able to go down as well. Deeper too, but we're a bit limited here and now" he explained. But hoped his companion could find something, right now the distance he can leave is 6 meters. That includes diving below G. So Goliath couldnt reaalllly go far to find shells. But hopefully some stuff is near them

Even the little noises the isopod made warmed Chise's heart. Who knew she could grow to love something as skeptical as an isopod. She liked seeing the giant creature happy, she never had a pet before and Goliath was sort of like a pet to her...well a friend who just so happened to be an animal. She wished she could pet and cuddle with him more but being in the water surrounded by people was rather hard as Goliath might accidentally scare them and the last thing she wanted was for G and Goliath to get in trouble. She supposed for now the light pets would have to suffice. The redhead heard G speak up about her being 'Mama Golaith', about her giving Goliath all the affection he wanted. The violet eyed girl felt her cheeks heat up at this...her...a mother figure? "Ah I would absolutely love to pamper him. I'll be the gentle one and you can be the stern one," she said with a chuckle, "Just call me Mama Chise!"
Before she could administer any more pets, Goliath soon left her and dove under the water in search of any shells for her. She understood the distance factor as he could only be so far from G before he would fade away. She would hate to see him go because of her, she wanted all three of them to play and get along in the water. Sadly, they could only play in the water as the crowds of people out on the beach sands would get highly worried if they saw a giant isopod on the beach. It was a shame they couldn't all look together, they didn't have to correct equipment and Chise wasn't a strong swimmer anyway so it was best to stay above water. Chise nodded in response to G's comment, soon replying with, "Yeah. I don't want to push him too far just for my sake. I just thought it might be interesting if he found something nice in the water below us."

"Yep! Precisely! You pamper him and I'll be stern! This will be great training for me" G said as he was getting a bit ahead of himself again with his hopes, dreams and daydreams. G then watched Goliath dive under the water
"I just hope he finds anything worthwhile" he thought to himself
Meanwhile Goliath dove deep as much as he could. Luckily G and Chise werent in some insanely deep waters, so Goliath had an easy time reaching the bottom and walking on the underwater soil. He saw a few fishies and immediately ate them whole. Then he looked for suitable shells for Chise
Back to the two humans, G went to pass the time while his Spirit Animal was occupied
"Soo, anything you wanna talk about while we wait for Goliath?" he asked. He kept it general as he didnt wanna sound like a broken record asking her about school. Or hell, he didnt wanna really sound like he's pretending to be her dad who's only interested in school. But still... what could a 25 year old and a 16 year old talk about? G would say video games, but Chise didnt seem the type. He also didnt really bring anything to play with like a volleyball. But then he remembered, they're swimming. So he did the most childish thing he could. Splash her

Chise looked back over to G once she heard his question about talking more since Goliath had been looking for shells for her under the water. Topics to talk about? She didn't think it would be this difficult to come up with something to talk about, then again it seemed like the two of them had vastly different tastes. They had discussed many things before; school, music, various tastes, but it had seemed like they had exhausted a lot of their possibilities. She didn't want to be the party pooper and say she didn't know what to talk about but finding a topic to discuss seemed harder than making the perfect cupcake.
The violet eyed girl looked down into the water and focused on treading water while thinking of something for the two of them to talk about. As she was about to speak up, finding a good topic to inquire about, she had felt a rather large splash of water hit her face, her hair mostly wet thanks to G. She cleared the water from her eyes and blinked before looking over to G, seeing him laughing at her. She pouted and puffed her cheeks out before splashing him back. "It's not nice to splash people!" she said with a chuckle, starting back on her barrage of splashes, attacking her teacher to get back at him.

It was very obvious that if the two were the same age or even hypothetically classmates. The two wouldnt most likely be friends or anything. Chise is such a good girl. G, even as an adult is a bad boy. He was a bad kid, delinquent, troublemaker. If he was a kid in UA, he'd mostly likely prank the girl he has the hots for. Thats what he's like. Even even this friendly splash, it was like a sucker punch. It had the element of surprise.
"It's not nice to splash people!" Chise playfully said as she splashed G a bit. He of course went to splash her back
Meanwhile
Goliath found 2 shells and was on his way to pick up the third one with his water power, since his claws already held 2 shells
Back to the student and teacher. After the two splashed eachother enough, G asked
"Ok ok...heheheh.. you got me. Did you think of a topic to talk about? I kinda interrupted you when I thought we had nothing"
He had to admit that. If they werent student and teacher they most likely wouldnt be talking to eachother.
"I mean, its a shame we cant talk about anything. Unless I talk to her about personal life. But it doesnt seem appropriate" G thought to himself

The redhead laughed along with G as they continued in their splash fight, who the winner might be would remain a mystery as it seemed the two were tied in terms of splash power. After a few minutes of splashing, the violet eyed girl grew tired and soon took a break, softly panting to catching her breath as she looked over to the equally tired G. "T-Truce?" she asked, looking over to him with a smile, they could call it quite now, enacting in a fake 'peace treaty' to stop splashing one another.
Chise focused on floating in the water once she caught her breath, wondering if Goliath had found any good shells under the water. Oh, back to the topic at hand...before she had gotten interrupted by that splash. "Hmm? Oh yeah a topic. Hmmm," she said, thinking once more, having forgotten what she wanted to say thanks to G's little prank. "Perhaps...we could talk about what sort of foods we like. You never did tell me if there are any sweets you're particularly fond of. I had found a good recipe for pineapple cake on the internet and I wanted to try it out. I also wanted to make Goliath more sweets, maybe the next time I see him I'll remember to make some for him. Speaking of the internet, have you heard anything interesting lately on the news?" the younger asked her teacher, wondering if he knew anything about the recent events that were on the news. Other than the typical petty burglaries, she had heard something on the news about a U.A. student harming a person...were they just a civilian or someone else? She couldn't quite remember.

"Truce it is!" he told her Chise then asked what kind of sweets did he like "I like traditional sweets like chocolate or stuff out of chocolate. You could notice that with ice cream. I always went for just chocolate. Im not that creative with food. I just go with bare basics" as he talked to Chise though, Goliath found a nice amount of shells and started swimming up Back to G and Chise. Now the student asked did he hear anything interesting about the news lately. He then answered "I did. But its not nice. You know the news about UA student assaulting a civillian? Well... I know that civillian. Thats my girlfriend and she lost her eye. I-" as he spoke and went to elaborate, Goliath emerged from the water bringing quite a amount of shells. G immediatelly dropped the subject and tended to Goliath and gave him a pat on the head "Good boy" and then he addressed Chise "What do you think of this? Are these good enough?"He didnt want to talk about his girlfriend who lost her eye. He wanted happy thoughts and those were beach, shells and his lovely student "I hope that UA boy isnt evil" he thought when he remembered the one person that wanted to be his student

The poofy haired girl listened as G described his preference of sweets, tending to go for a more plain sort of treat like simple chocolates and the like. Nothing was wrong with simple, to Chise, all sweets were deserving of praise. "Maybe I could make you some homemade chocolate for the next time we meet. It's been a while since I last tried to make some but it's not all that difficult. Maybe I'll add some mystery flavors in the center for an added bit of surprise," she said with a smile. It would be pretty funny to see G eat a piece of chocolate infused with cajun seasoning for an added kick.
The violet eyed girl's expression went from happy to sad in a matter of seconds, hearing G say that U.A. student had ripped out a civilian's eye and that civilian was his girlfriend. "I...I didn't know...I'm so sorry G," she spoke. She wouldn't tear up as G told her to be strong and that she shouldn't cry over every little thing that's sad. "I-Is she alr-" before she could say much else, Goliath had popped back up with a smile on his face and a plethora of gorgeous shells in his hands.
Chise's face lit up, seeing the marvelous looking shells that he found. "Ah, Goliath they're beautiful!" she said in excitement, the peach haired girl gaining her smile back as she gave Goliath pets for all his hard work. "They're wonderful, of course they're more than enough!" the bubbly girl spoke, turning to G with a renewed smile on her face. "How should we get these all back to shore? I would like to put them away so they're safe but then again I don't think I could carry all of them by myself. I could always make a few trips in and back to the ocean. I wouldn't want to loose even a single shell that Goliath had spent time looking for me," she suggested, moving to gently kiss Goliath's head as a small thank you for his hard work.

G nodded in agreement and honestly he instantly got hungry when she mentioned chocolate. This food talk made him hungry, but sadly no food as now a more grim subject is talked about. Susumu losing her eye. Just saying that G could see it deeply affected Chise. G wanted to hug her after he finished explaining, but Goliath emerged interrupting the both of them. He saw Chise's face lit up in joy as she saw the boon Goliath brought her. "Heh, you're right. This might be a bit much. Goliath will carry this as much as he can. But as soon as he starts entering the more shallows waters we have to take what we can get. Because you know the reactions we'll get. Not to mention I think we stayed in the water enough" he told Chise
"Come on!" he ordered Goliath to follow him as they made they way out. Goliath followed his master and as soon as he started entering more shallow waters where he cant dive and where there are more people. They stop. G takes as many shells as he can and he directs Chise to do with the rest "Grab as much as you can or preferably all"

The peach haired student nodded, understanding that it may be hard for them to take everything Goliath had found. She just felt bad to toss them back after Goliath had spent that long looking for them for her. She gently pet his head, "Thank you for finding them for me Goliath. I'll make sure to make you an extra special treat next time we see each other," she said with a smile and a gentle kiss to his head. The good thing about giving Goliath kisses was that she could do it without having to worry about activating her quirk since they were just small kisses to his head and not his lips.
Chise began to swim back with G and Goliath, understanding that when they reached the shallow waters, they would have to take the shells from Goliath as it would be risky for him to go out of the water. They soon reached the 'point of no return', although not as morbid looking, Goliath could not go any further. The bubble redhead happily took the prettier and most unique shells from the giant isopod before heading with G over to their belongings. Chise set the shells down carefully on her towel before pulling out a small bag from her beach bag, carefully placing the shells Goliath had found for her inside so she could take them back home with her.
With a soft sigh of relief, Chise sat down on her towel and let the sun shine down on her, drying the saltwater off her skin. "That was really nice," she said with a smile, moving her bag to lay back on the towel as she had before. She needed a day just to relax and have fun instead of worrying about the struggles and worries of school and life. The carrot colored hair girl looked over to G with a genuine smile, thankful he took part in this little vacation with her.

The Spirit Animal loved the pats and kisses on head. Infact when she kissed him on the head, this time he 'kissed' her in the face aka he licked her face like a dog would. He wished the two were alone so they could cuddle and snuggle and so he can sit in her lap. And like an animal, he'd forget that he's bigger then her.
When they all went to the more shallower and populated parts, the two humans tooks the shells off of the giant isopod, which soon faded away. G and Chise then reached their towel and their belogings and placed the shells there
"Ummm, why did we collect these shells again?" he thought to himself a bit confused
Chise commented how it was really nice
"Yes it was" he agreed with her. Seeing her smile though, warmed his heart. He was happy to see her happy. He didnt want her tears. He didnt want her mourning him if something bad happened to him. He didnt want to ruin her life in any way. He wants his students happiness. Seeing her smile all he could do is smile and wish that one day, he could get a real daughter that could be just as nice as Chise. Ah.. getting ahead of himself again. Daydreaming of something thats in the far future. He shook his head and focused on the present
