It wasn't often she sought out to test her own quirk. After all in the school she was permitted, but it wasn't like she could jsut DO IT like all of the other emitters. She needed help, and Milkshakes wasn't going to cut it for every day. She needed to try new things. She needed to make some friends. Only some. Just a few. Maybe only one.She wandered the halls, not lost, just circling around the school during break to pick someone from the crowd. She wanted someone easy to approach, someone open to her quirk. Someone willing. A loner, or perhaps someone popular. They had to be out of her class, she didn't need them knowing what she was up to. Maybe she could find someone from 1B or 1C. She continued, looking from outside of the dark hood that covered her head. The long black coat that covered her down to her ankles. Under it only to show sneakers and some white socks. Her own face covered in dark make up. Her skin still pale, most likely to lack of light, but also to the light sheet of foundation that she hadn't really matched to her skin that well. She needed to test her theory. She needed a guinea pig. ~ 213 ~

It had seemed like forever since Chise had her last break, sure this was partly her fault for taking on so much in the first place but she would rather be busy than doing nothing at all. If she didn't do anything she was more prone to falling asleep and she couldn't just take a nap anywhere now, not the classroom, not the hallway, not in one of the stalls in the girl's restroom, none of those were appropriate places to nap. Chise decided to stay after class and work on some things for her campaign coming up, perhaps if she made some posters and hung them around the classroom, maybe it would be more likely that her fellow classmates would choose her for class president. She was almost finished with the preliminary design before she decided perhaps it would be best to visit the restroom before it got too late.
Chise stood up from her desk and exited the classroom, walking down the hall towards the girl's bathroom so she could relieve herself and get back to working on her posters. As she was walking through the hall, she noticed what appeared to be another student walking towards her, or at least in her direction. From far away she did not recognize the girl, not having seen anyone who wears such heavy eye makeup and a dark cape before in her many encounters with the other students. She shouldn't be rude now, she could at least say hello as they passed one another. As the two girls got closer, Chise looked into the other's eyes and smiled a soft "Hello" leaving her lips as she waved to the other girl. Kindness given is kindness in return, right?

A greeting. Yes, someone so willing was perfect. She had already volunteered herself. "Oh hello!" Levi spoke, something she did not often do. This girl had already been on Levi's mind for the past moment. She was going to have to do. She needed a way to get her. A way to keep her around. Of course. "Excuse me," she spoke, stopping to face the girl as she passed by. It was going to go all to her plan. "If you're not busy, could you help me practice something?"Something. It could be anything. Leviathan needed a method to use her quirk. How could she use it, when could she. She was already covered up, leaving little to no skin to use to her advantage. There was no contact other than her hands. No, she needed another way. Hands were too simple. She wanted to get something more. Something more direct to organs. She wanted it to be potent. She wondered what a direct line to someone's chest, as close as she could get to their heart, would do. Would it have a stronger effect or the same? Would entering a wound have a different effect? These were her questions, and she was prepared to find out. ~ 207 ~

Chise was content on going her merry way until the girl had spoke up once more, asking if Chise could help with something. Chise stopped and turned back towards the girl. She supposed she didn't have to go to the restroom that bad. Hopefully, whatever the girl needed would not take up that much time so she could use the restroom and get back to her promoting campaign. "Sure, what is it that you need help with? I will try to do whatever I can to help you, unless it requires physical strength. I'm not that strong so asking me for a favor like that might be a bit bad," the redhead said with a sheepish chuckle, rubbing the back of her neck out of habit.
She wondered what it could be the other needed help with. She didn't appear to have anything on her from what Chise could tell so she doubted it was anything academic related. What if someone had been hurt and she was trying to get help? No, her attitude would have been more panicked then how calm she was right now. Perhaps it was just a simple question as to where one of the classrooms were, Chise hoped that wasn't the case as she found herself getting rather lost in the hallways trying to find her classrooms each day. Whatever it was, Chise was...somewhat prepared to assist the other girl.

She was willing. Perfect. For how long, and for what, would be the next answer. She didn't want to take her by force. That would cause too much disruption. She needed a way to get either as close to her heart or her brain, then she could understand more about the lasting effects of her quirk. How could she get her to stay around a while? It would only have taken a moment. "Sorry, I'm just really new to using my quirk and you looked smart, so I thought you could help me." She would say it with a koi smile, as if she was nervous. But she was far from such. She was only thinking of the chance she could do it. Or maybe she would be just that willing to allow her to do so. There was so little she knew about the girl, yet so much counted on her, at least for now. If not, then she would have to find a new subject, and hope they don't tag along with her like Milkshakes did. "I haven't really used it at all, so I'm not really sure how it works." she would try to fake explain. She knew exactly how it worked, just not the effects it had on people. She couldn't see or feel what was going on. Besides, with this girl in front of her, she was dying to know what color her hair was. There was no way she was actually all just gray. ~ 250 ~

Chise was a little concerned, it sounded like the other was in a similar, if not the same situation as Chise was in. One where she could not exude her quirk around others as it was embarrassing for her...well in Chise's case at least. "A-Ah sure! Although, I don't know how much help I will be. What sort of quirk do you have if I may ask? Transformation? Emitter? Mutation? Is it too embarrassing to use around others? I know mine is like that, so I don't tend to use mine a lot," the redhead said with a sheepish chuckle, reaching up to rub the back of her neck out of habit. She had never heard of a quirk coming so late in a person's life so she just assumed that she didn't use it due to some other circumstances. She had found her quirk at a relatively young age so she guessed everyone developed their quirks around that time, perhaps this girl was different though.
"You haven't used it at all you say? If I may ask, how did you get into the hero course if you didn't use your quirk? Surely you had to use your quirk then" the violet eyed girl asked. She knew this girl was not in her general studies class as she did not have to show off her quirk to get accepted. She had heard the students in the hero curriculum had to demonstrate their quirks in order to be placed into the corresponding hero course. She didn't know if the rumor was true or not but that was all she had to go off of right now until she heard otherwise. The cheery girl meant no harm or ill will by her comment, she was simply curious was all.

Questions. She was a smart one. Perhaps too smart. Maybe the enticing of knowledge would be enough to get her to stay and obey. "Oh, let me try to re-explain then." Levi had to back track, perhaps her words were getting mixed up moving from her brain to her lips. "I know how to use my quirk, but I'm trying to master a different aspect of it, that's much different than I've done before." She would say it with a sky smile, as if she had never talked to anyone before. It was her own will that made her do just enough to pass, and to use her quirk as minimally as possible. The less people knew about her, including her classmates, the better. Besides, the girl had already given her an answer to use. She didn't even have to think of a lie. "Yeah, it's kind of embarrassing. It's why I didn't want to ask my classmates for help. Perfect. It made sense enough. Maybe the both of them could practice together. Maybe it would be a meeting of the both of them to try to maximize their power outside of their usual groups. Would that make them friends? No, she didn't want that. ~ 205 ~

Chise blinked once, so it wasn't that the girl didn't know how to use her quirk, it was more like she was trying to test out another aspect of it. That made sense, trying to build upon your quirk was a good thing to do, especially for an aspiring hero like her. Chise nodded and smiled, "Oh that makes sense! Trying to better your quirk and improve upon it. I understand," Chise said with a smile. She was happy to help the other with her quirk practice, she just hoped it wouldn't leave her hurting in the end. She did find that practicing using another's quirk in the school building a bit odd. Chise assumed all the hero's quirks were offensive quirks, so practicing in a gym or outside might be better than practicing inside the school. The violet eyed girl shook the thought off for now, not finding it all too important in the moment.
"Oh trust me I understand embarrassing quirks. My quirk allows me to copy the voice of anyone through means of lip contact. I would hate to force anyone to kiss me just so I could use my quirk...so I don't use it all that often," the redhead said with a sheepish chuckle, reaching her hand up to rub the back of her neck. She wondered if the other's quirk was something similar like that where the act of doing it brought a wave of embarrassment upon her. "A-Ah, so you decided to ask for someone else's help with it instead. That's totally understandable. I shall help to the best of my abilities," the peach haired beauty promised the girl with a warm smile. "If you don't mind me asking, what sort of quirk do you possess?" Chise asked, tilting to her head to the side slightly.

Her quirk only worked through the contact of lips. A kiss. Her quirk worked in the act of a kiss, only to copy their voice? She didn't entirely see how that would be useful in a heroic situation. Anyone could be fooled with a little deceit she assumed, but that seemed to be something only a side-kick could use. But on the other hand, so did her own quirk in the same sense. If she only distracted and used her powers to make people feel good or bad, she was nothing more than a nurse. But with practice and refinement, she could be someone of great stature. Either for good, or bad. Maybe she wasn't so different. Maybe she was hero-course material. "Well, if you haven't used your own quirk, It's only right I help you first." Levi would speak, fully knowing what she was offering to do. "Besides, my quirk is something that is easier to show, than to explain. It's kind of the same thing?" Leviathan tried to make it as reasonable as possible for her to go first. To try and use her quirk with her lips was something new to her, and to her own plans, it was the middle ground between a person's brain or heart. Surely focusing herself to let it out in a single touch was something worth trying. Besides, she wanted to use it without telling her what she was able to do, to see how strong her quirk could really be when someone was caught off guard. She wouldn't expect her to use her own quirk at that time, right? ~ 269 ~ [/quote]

Huh? What was this girl saying now? Try out her quirk first? Chise's cheeks gained a bit of color after hearing what the other girl had said. She didn't want to practice her quirk, this wasn't about her it was about the girl in the hood. "W-Wha- N-No no, that is alright! This is about helping you with your quirk! I don't really need to practice m-mine, I appreciate the k-kind gesture though," the redhead said with a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of her neck out of habit. She didn't want to use her quirk on someone she had just met, she would be forcing them to do something they didn't want to do and that was wrong! Even if she was giving consent for Chise to use her quirk, she felt a bit awkward, having permission to use it on a stranger she had just met.
Chise listened to the girl say her quirk was better seen then it was explained in words and soon replied back, "A-Ah that's alright! You can just show me how you use your quirk and I w-will help as best I can with it. Perhaps knowing what your quirk does w-would better allow me to help you in using it," the poofy haired girl said, her cheeks still a bright pink in hue. She hoped the other didn't ask for Chise to use her quirk again. She couldn't really help much with something if she was kept in the dark about what it was or how it worked.

The factor of her not being surprised was going to play into effect. If she knew it was coming, could she resist it? Would it change any of the factors? No, it was one more variable she didn't want to add to the equation. She needed to find her answer, and she needed a way to earn her trust, and keep her presence as it was. "Basically," she stopped, her face would begin to fill with color. It was almost embarrassing to try and think of something on the spot. She didn't plan for any of this to happen at all. "I can't see colors. I can only see when I use my quirk. And my quirk is mostly tied to emotions." she answered her, half the truth, and half a lie. "I really didn't want to tell anyone, because then you might fake something and I'll read it wrong." She reached up to her face to lightly pat, or rather slap the sides of her face. She needed to focus. All it was, was one example. "I figured that the closer to the brain, or heart I could get, the better my reading would be." she continued, realizing none of what she said sounded like a real power a hero could use. But still, if she could even just touch that girl's forehead, then she would leave happy. Maybe that was all she needed. "I just don't like asking for something if I don't really have much to give in return."Fuck. Did she really offer another kiss? Levithan, save your damn lips for that ice cold boy. ~ 269 ~

"Oh you can't see in color? So do you view the world in black and white?" Chise asked, quite curious as to how this mysterious girl views her surroundings day by day. Chise felt a bit bad that the other could not take in the full beauty of her surroundings, only seeing through a monochrome lens. It would be interesting to view the world from the hooded girl's eyes, seeing the world in black and white for a change instead of viewing colors. Perhaps there were more human disabilities like hers in the world full of quirks that they live in. "Emotions you say? So depending on how you feel, you can view your surroundings differently?" the redhead questioned the other girl, wanting to get a better grasp on what all she could and couldn't see.
Chise was a bit shocked to hear that the other thought she might fake an emotion just to get this done and over with. "N-No! I would never do something like that!" the violet eyed girl exclaimed, "I would never fake something as pure as emotions are, it would be wrong to do so." She didn't know what sorts of encounters the other went through to come to that conclusion, but she would give the other a good an honest reaction, nothing phony. The peach haired girl continued to listen to the other explain what she wished to figure out when using her quirk, but the redhead felt bad referring to the other female as 'the other girl' "I-If I may be so bold as to ask," Chise spoke up once the other had finished speaking, "What is your name...or if you don't wish to tell me, something I may call you. My name is Chise," the poofy haired girl introduced herself with a small smile. "And...in all honesty, you don't have to do anything for me. It makes me happy to know that I am able to help someone with what they need without the use of my quirk," Chise explained to the noirette.

It was strange to get another opinion on her quirk. It was how she lived, the only change was when it took effect. She had always seen the world without color, but when he quirk appeared, she found a way to see color. Her mind would grow, adapting, and soon she would see colors around the auras she was familiar with, the people she understood. It was the colors of their soul, and they would be the only pictures in her monochrome world. Monochrome. Perhaps that was a good name to take up for when she turned hero. She would listen, not interrupting any of her ideas or words until she was done. She had taken the time to think of her own words, trying to not misstep her own boundaries. "Leviathan, but everyone calls me Levi. I guess it's too long for them." she would answer, "And I don't like asking for something if I'm not able to give the same back." she would try to explain. It was just something she was used to. It was why she never gave or asked much of anyone. To find a stranger would only allow her to give back without a change on how anyone saw her, or how she felt about herself. She wasn't even in the same class. She didn't matter.... She didn't matter. "But if you're sure about it, my offer stands, you may use your quirk on me... as long as it doesn't kill me." she would say with a soft smile, "... Fire hurts." And she would set her hands on her lap, thinking about how to approach the option. What would she do, where would she touch? How much to use? Would she make her feel better, or worse? The outcomes seemed endless, but really. . . Only one thing could happen . . . ~ 310 ~

Leviathan, it was an unusual name, but it sounded rather pretty. It had a hint of elegance to it that Chise could appreciate. “I don’t think it’s too long, Leviathan is really pretty. It sounds exotic even!” the redhead said with a smile, “but I will call you anything you wish Leviathan-chan!” the carrot top said, not wanting to be like the rest of the people she knew. She would call her by her full name if she was comfortable with Chise doing so. She heard Levi talk about not asking for something without doing something in return, that was exactly how the violet eyed femme felt. She hated bothering others but would gladly help others if they needed her assistance. She supposed she couldn’t help but be kind like that, it was unusual to see someone else with the same mindset as her, but it was not unwelcomed.
“Alright,” she began speaking, “we’ll help each other out by using our quirks on one another. That sounds fair right?” the curly haired girl said with a smile as a hint of red soon made itself apparent on her cheeks. Chise could feel her heart race in anticipation of using her quirk, still rather embarrassing to use but know she would be able to find out of she could still use it or not. “S-So…would we be using them at the same time t-then?” Chise asked, not sure how they wanted to approach the situation. “O-Oh I promise My quirk does not hurt others!” the other said a bit frantic, not wanting the other girl to worry about getting injured while Chise used her quirk. “I-It’ll just feel like a kiss…n-nothing else,” the redhead said with a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of her neck out of habit.
Chise tried calming herself down before looking at Leviathan, her violet irises looking into brown orbs. Chise took another small breath before closing her eyes and leaning forward, her own soft pink lips connecting with those of the paler teen. A soft noise left Chise’s lips before she pulled away from the other, feeling those few moments were more than sufficient for her to be able to use her quirk. Chise blinked before speaking, “Testing,” she said speaking in the other’s voice. A smile soon found it’s way onto the teen’s face, happy and relieved to know her quirk still worked, “I can’t believe it still works,” the chubby girl said, a few tears pricking the corners of her eyes.

A kiss. A kiss. A KISS. The girl who was different. The girl who did not live at the dorms. The girl that was always tied to her books. The girl who bullied and played pranks on people in secret. The girl whose quirk was useless in the eyes of many. The girl who lived in a brothel. The girl whose first kiss, was with a complete stranger. She nodded to all of the questions, not speaking a word. It seemed as if she was willing to try to use her quirk, all the while Levi had just considered that maybe she didn't even need to go that far. Their lips would touch, and Levi would completely forget the reason she had agreed to such a thing. Her quirk was unused, her cheeks turning red. They would pull away and Levi would find herself at a loss. At soon as she spoke, Levi lifted her hand to tap the girls forehead. She would always strike when it was least expected. A smile would find its way to her black lips as her own hand would give a simple touch. A rush of feeling would pour into her. The equivalent of taking in a few lines of cocaine for the first time. Although, she had no idea how it would effect her, having been closer to her brain. Perhaps it was the heart that mattered. Levi, herself would find her own joy of the rush of adrenaline that seeped into her body. She started to laugh, it was a silly thing to get worked up about. That girl would find her own contentment in her success, as well as the rush of joy that Levi would be the cause of. But she wouldn't expect the mess that mimicked her own power to happen in the next few months. It was a great start, to someone's falling. ~ 315 ~
