Welcome ladies, gentleman, mostly kids, to the 3rd annual sports festival! With the third years graduating that shouldn't take any attention off of our up and coming heroes! As our 3rd years progress into sidekicks, the heroes have already chosen who they'd let work under them. Now you need to make an impression on those same heroes for your internships and apprenticeships in the coming year! Things will be a little different this year, but we hope you'll all have fun!
This year, no other schools will be invited to the sports festival. It will be entirely focused on the students of UA. Events will attempt to be a little more self run with mod support being mostly for per-round prompts on the event at play.
Please use the sign up sheet found below to partake in one of the following events-
- Tag Team Combat - Simple enough, rather than a tournament you may sign up for the tag team tournament. A single battle of 2 v 2. A mod will still participate with an NPC hero who will be able to shift and alter the battleground to create interesting scenarios, or handicap an extremely strong pair.
- The Long Run - Race to the finish! Participate in a race track with set obstacles. Each round of the thread will present a new obstacle that everyone can face at the same time. Flight quirks will be limited to avoid abuse, and students will focus on obstacles rather than one another.
- King of the hill - Time to face off against the world! Or... just an army of robots. You and your fellow students will be put in charge of guarding a flag at the center of an arena. From the walls of the arena increasingly difficult waves of robot enemies will be poured out with one single goal. Get the flag. If a robot manages to get the flag a set distance away from the center, you lose!
We'll be attempting to get 3-4 people in each event, so please sign up using the sheet below. If there is immense interest in a specific part, we'll simply double down on a single part of the exam and hold multiple threads. Otherwise, we'll try to even things out.
