Mosas first experience teaching a class was deemed a quite big success. Overall, people who had attended it had clearly gotten a new image on how to communicate with folks, and after brief questionings, most had found Mosas way of handling things relaxing and calming, and most importantly, without too much judgement. Speaking your mind in front of other people was in itself quite a scary task, so critiquing what they said was on it's own a very big risk. However, in the end, it was something every single hero would need in the future. A harsh lesson to be sure, but Mosa was certainly trying his hardest to make it a little bit easier.
Now, last time he had held this class, it was more of a mixed affair classvise. Reason being both he himself and the school wanted to test the waters on at what point this sort of knowledge would be most important to learn. That and of course, to see how assertive the students were already in the third class. In the end, Mosas estimate was, that students of all classes were quite similar in their skills, showing how important these classes were going to be for the improving. They weren't learning these things naturally by themselves, and on top of it, all of them had some questions of their own about specific situations. The overall consensus was, that this sort of lessons should be held as early as possible.
And with that, he was now holding it to both first and second years. Both were still on the earlier side of their studies, so in that regard it was perfect timing for this sort of thing. As the children would enter the class, it would be a pretty normal classroom aside from the desks being placed around the borders of it, and the multitude of chairs placed in a circle, so that everybody could make eye contact with all the people in the circle. Mosa himself was sitting on the chair closest to the blackboard. His name was written on it, with huge letters reading 'Professional speaking'. Perhaps a little bit fancy name, taking that the teacher themselves was no pro-hero. But on the other hand, you did not need to be a hero to know how to speak properly and in an interesting way to people.
After the students had taken their seats in whatever order they wanted, Mosa would stand-up and clap momentarily for attention. "Welcome everyone. As it says on the blackboard, I am Mosa Ganbaroshi. Today, we will be handling speaking with others, be it to groups of people, or to a singular person. At first the, situation might seem quite similar, but after this, I promise you will all have atleast gotten a new perspective on how important and effective just the simple skill of conversing with others can be." Mosa rubbed his gloved hands together. "If any of you at any point has any questions on anything we speak about, feel free to ask. I might have bear ears on this hat, but I don't find questions like that unbearable." A quiet break. Guess he was expecting the mood to calm a little with the joke.
"The very first of our lessons will be the very first thing we usually do when meeting up with strangers: The simple act of introduction." He pulled out his notebook and wrote something on it. "Introductions in my personal opinion, are one of the most important part of every single conversation you will ever have. It lays the foundation of what the person you are talking to might think of you in the future. However, anything can be an introduction, be it an accidental knockout, or a simple handshake." He sat down, and lifted his leg over his knee.
"And as I said, that is now your first lesson. Feel free to introduce yourself in the way that feels most comfortable to you. It can be just saying your name, it can include telling your likes or what you are expecting to get from this class." He proceeded to fix the position of his classes, as he tapped his pencil against his notebook. "Although I do admit, I would like to know all your names. Pointing towards people when you are speaking to them specifically can come off as a little bit aggressive after all." With that, the stage was theirs.

Kiersa had spotted that there was a Speech class in the works being held by one of the teachers here at UA. Given her stuttering whenever she did try to have conversations with her fellow students and teachers, the young blonde thought that it might be a good idea to attend. It was probably not quite the speech therapy class that she had initially in mind, but stepping stones. Plus whilst she didn't exactly have an impediment for speaking physically... well who knows? Speech classes could probably help with her confidence a little.
When she arrived, her first reaction was one of confusion. All of the tables had been shoved to the walls of the class, and all that was there were the chairs arranged in a circle in the middle of the room. With an absolutely massive adult sitting in the one closest to the blackboard, which read "Professional Speaking". The young blonde wasn't sure where to sit in this circular arrangement... So she decided to sit herself down beside the teacher for the time being.
As the others began to file in and take their seats, she noticed that a few of them were from the year above as well as her own. She listened carefully to what Mister Ganbaroshi had to say regarding this class and how it was set up. Kiersa quirked an eyebrow though when he said that accidentally knocking someone out could count as an introduction, and whilst he might... technically be correct, the former maid sincerely hoped that she never introduced herself to someone via that method.
The teacher then requested that they all begin to introduce themselves to one another as part of the first exercise for this class, in a way that feels most comfortable to them. Well, there was certainly one way that Kiersa felt comfortable with for introductions, that didn't involve her stuttering...
She took a slow breath, stood up from her chair and then gave a proper low curtsey to the group whilst bowing her head. "Greetings everyone." said the young blonde slowly and formally. "You may call me Kiersa Bec. I am a student of Class 1-B, and I look forward to learning and working alongside each of you." she said, finishing up with another curtsey and bow of her head before taking her seat once more.
"W-Was th-that a-alright? S-Sorry..." asked Kiersa quietly, a little unsure how the others would take her going into "maid mode" as she had come to call it since her time here at UA.

Confidence is what was going to make the future linked to the world of pro heroes become a smooth transition...
[break][break]
Thus, here he was, taking into heart and mind that he was lacking in communication with others unless he emotionally shut himself off. Which...really wasn't healthy and he needed to break that cycle to find a natural, organic change within himself. Certainly the princely blonde was making strides and improvements for himself bit by bit, but this is something he genuinely needed help with. All this time, he'd been avoiding things like therapy and what not with this very counselor since he felt like other people needed his services more. Well...that and...part of him was a little worried about making things awkward in the event he'd ever been invited over by Kenji since this was his guardian!
[break][break]
Yet, he couldn't side step and skirt around or away from this offer because it was a beneficial class to his personal growth. Plus, this had nothing to do with unloading several trauma loaded suitcases in the counselor's general direction. However, if reaching out to Nimue, Elise and others stopped helping him cope with his issues...he'd absolutely bite the bullet to schedule an appointment. Sitting inside of the classroom with a more business demeanor, the regal teen's composure cracked with a gentle smile at the bearable pun. Though he held back a little chuckle, which made him sound a little like a guinea-pig, it was managed from turning into a full blown laugh.
[break][break]
Jokes were meant to be amusing, he was admittedly not the best at them himself, but it always brought this teen a sense of joy when he caught on to a funny. Taking notes while trying to maintain a sense of eye contact with his sensei guiding this lesson. Beaumont even offered a nod where it felt appropriate to do so, then continued on with moving his pen across the paper. Honestly, it mad him feel at ease to know Kiersa was here too since she was a familiar sort! Listening to her introduction, it seemed as though she slowed herself down to find better pacing...
[break][break]
It didn't seem like a bad idea...should he try?
[break][break]
Offering her a little applause, he hoped that helped her feel as though that was a good effort! Slowly standing up, he tried to articulate things within his head and couldn't shake that this counselor was the guardian of the very boy he was romantically interested in. Furrowing his brows a bit, his brain became a bit like scrambled eggs and the deep breath he took was like the spatula trying to shuffle those darn eggs into place. Exhaling, doing his best to compose himself, he maintained a gentle smile...albeit a bit nervous and spoke with care, "It's my pleasure to meet you, I'm Beaumont Favager, a student of 1-S. However, the nickname Monty is acceptable as well, please use what you feel most comfortable with at your leisure."
[break][break]
With his hands at his sides he lowered his head and offered a bow as though this was the finishing touches to communicating with an employer or business associate. This didn't stop his heart from racing wildly as he sat down, developing a case of the jitters. Now looking more like a spooked kitten that was trying to keep from sprinting away from spooky humans. Clasping and lacing his fingers together tightly, a little bead of sweat rolled down his cheek, trying his best to internalize his anxiety and focus on the core point of this is a class to help him improve. Definitely a little challenging, but he was gonna do his best and hopefully not panic too much!
[break][break]
Foooocus on the lessons...nooooooot the fact that this is the guardian of the guy holding his heart strings, JUUUUUST THE LESSONS! It was never this tough with Colt's parents...why in the world was it so challenging now...?

Fion hadn't really known why he decided to join a class on trying to talk better seeing as it was never a problem he had the only real reason he joined the class was to try and be helpful to the more timid students that and he noticed Monty was also joining the class. Fion had hoped this class would be interesting at the very least and it'd be his first time seeing the school counselor he wasn't even aware existed until signing up for this class.
Fion was a little surprised by the look of the teacher well counselor it caught him off guard abit but he quickly got over it and decided to just sit down next to Monty when he saw him and just listen to what would be said. So far it seemed pretty much what he expected besides the bear pun which made him cringe abit. Fion figured it was an interesting starting point though he did question why he said accidental knockouts count as an introduction seemed odd to him but he ignored that part for now.
Then came the first introduction looked like it was Kiersa Fion didn't know what to expect she always seemed kind of passive to him her introduction seemed fine but her usual shyness seemed to come out at the end there. Next came Monty who Fion had hoped would be able to do a good one and it was a pretty good intro in Fion's opinion though he seemed nervous saying it.
Fion would give Monty a small pat on his shoulder and give him words of encouragement. "You did a good job Monty no need to be nervous I got your back." Fion then figured it was likely his turn to introduce himself something that was pretty easy for him he never found other people intimidating so wasn't hard for him to talk to a group either.
In a confidant and easy to understand voice he began his introduction. "Well Hello Mosa and everyone else My names Fion Galon. I'm from class 1-B and I like to watch anime and taking naps under trees." Fion said that perfectly fine he did wonder though if anyone else would be able to talk with such confidence or if they got mostly the passive students in this class.

The reptilian girl was as curious as ever, recently she saw an advertisement for a 'speech' class and with her current abilities with Japanese speech; who was she to deny free! Plus, she would get to meet people she doesn't know before, even more friends! WHO CAN SAY NO TO THAT! The girl whom was perpetually a mess from being all over even brushed her hair into it was straight as a noodle, can't look bad during your first impression after all. Arriving at the entrance of the class, her eyes popped in and out as she tried to focus on the numbers that were above the classroom; she wanted to make sure it was the right classroom. It would be super embarrassing to barge into the wrong one; for a good few seconds she was staring at the sign before she went in.
Opening the door, she practically skipped her way to one of the front seats before taking a seat and peering around at the others. She noticed Keirsa in the corner of her eye and smiled at the familiar face, she was a club member whom she bumped into quite a few times out of club events. As the teacher told them to introduce themselves, a few went ahead to introduce themselves, prism was more inclined to wait a little bit to try and compose herself. However, composed and calm was not a personality trait that the little girl had! She got up, after the last student, and with the grin the size of a mountain she took a deep breath in "Hello, friends! I Prism Laverna, I from 1A! I only knew japanese for a little four months! I from Tanzania! I can't wait speak with new friends!", she said with a face full of delight that seemed to be eternally etched onto Prism's face.

Recently, it seemed like extra circular classes and activities seemed to dominate most of Cid's free time. Granted this would be the first time he'd have attended one by an actual teacher so he was expecting quite a different approach to the topic at hand. This time around there was a large group of students and the subject of today's class was public speaking, so the Aussie felt pretty safe that he wouldn't get bonked on the head by a giant sheet of ice. Still have the bruise, thanks Emi!
Once he took his seat, Cid noticed that most of the first years had elected to sit together. It almost seem unintentional but being one himself, he was glad to be sitting with most of his peers. Being surrounded by upperclassmen wouldn't be a problem either mind you, but having two more experienced students either side of him would probably only show how much Cid would have to learn. And let's face it no one likes being show up!
Once the class began, their teacher, Mosa Ganbaroshi stated the fundamentals of the day's class. Cid had a notepad and pen on his desk and quickly scribbled down a few bullet points as he listened. Normally in these sort of classes the spicy haired boy would sit back and take everything in then write some notes on it after the class. But since this was one made by a teacher he wanted to put in the extra effort. Besides, his uncle had instilled this habit into him telling the Aussie it would help him retain the information. And if his grades were anything to go by, he needed a bit of a push in that regard. |The class itself seemed fairly straight forward. he two main headings seemed to be talking to large groups in a sort of crowd control manner. The other was in a solo one on one "calm down so I can save you" sort of way. Or that's what Cid assumed anyway.
With the lesson topic set in stone and written in his notepad, it was time for introductions! Even though he wasn't in class with the four other first years who introduced themselves, Cid knew most of their names already from the train to the hotel hosted a while back and subsequent hot spring visit. Still, he listened intently to their intros and made note of how to phrase his own.
First up was Kiersa who gave a very prim and proper greeting. It was short, sweet and to the point. It didnt invoke a lot of questions. She even gave a curtsy and a bow, bonus points for super formal manners! Next up was Beaumont who matched Kiersa out of the water when it came to a fanciness. Like hot damn, pleasure to meet you? At your leisure? Cid took note of that run of phrase for later. Continuing on, Month gave his nickname to boot which was interesting to here since Monty wasn't here nor there from his first or last name. Then again he was European and those guys always did things weird. Still it was interesting to note and a nice way of breaking the ice. Both Kiersa's and Monty's intros were very good and followed a similar style of manners and elegance, Monty even taking to bowing too. One thing Cid noticed though was how both were rather nervous during it though. It was to be expected trying to memorize that fancy speak in Japanese but both nailed it for what they were doing.
The next one up was another european, Fion who also noted Monty's nerves and gave him some support. He seemed pretty chill himself and his intro reflected that pretty perfectly too. Unlike the other two, Fion's intro was much more casual and breezy. Cid had thought of doing a similar intro himself. What made Fion stand out in his mind though was also listing his interests which would really spark a conversation after the introduction, something the latter two wouldn't exactly do unless they had met at some formal event where the conversation topic was within arm's reach. Another energetic and casual intro came from Prism whose Japanese was broken but still understandable. Cid couldn't help but smile as her bubbly energy pushed through the language barrier perfectly captioning what kind of person Prism was.
With the ice well and truly broken at this time it was Cid's turn. He stood up from his seat to get the full extent of his vocal chords! "G'day all, the name's Cid! A humble Australian that came to this lovely part of the world some few years back. I'm in class 1-A but still like to tinker with machines and do some engineering at the side. Nice to meet you all." Deciding to lean into his heritage also, Cid said "G'day" in english with the full brunt of his accent, afterward though he'd tone it down so people could actually understand his Japanese. Speaking in a clear friendly tone that reach all around the room without the need for a raised voice, Cid also gave a short wave and wink to the rest of the class as he finished up. He hoped that mixed the two types of intros well enough. Getting a good blend of mannerly and casual was tough after all. Wonder what other route the rest of the class will go?

Post by Iida Katsumi on Sept 7, 2020 12:22:40 GMT -4
When Katsumi heard about there being a Speech Class she was immediately intrigued. In a rare crossing of impulse and interest, she’d immediately signed up for the class without a second thought. Come the time for the class itself, she’d quickly taken a seat from the circle of chairs, mostly ignoring the other students around her as she focused on listening to the teacher, Mosa Ganbaroshi, and what he had to say. He’d given them their first task for the class, a simple introduction. They were to introduce themselves to each other.
Iida Katsumi sat still as a statue as she waited for her turn to introduce herself. She had never much of a talker, in fact she often found that people talked too much sometimes. Be it actual conversation, idle chatter, or one of those people who named and yelled the names of their attacks, people who talked too much irked her to some degree. Talking with people was just one of those things she never really understood beyond conveying messages and information to another person. It was her hope that in this class she’d be able to learn something of use to her.
So far the people who have introduced themselves were a year below her. Shrugging to herself, she stood up when it was her turn to give an introduction to the class. She did a small bow before speaking. “My name is Iida Katsumi, Class 2-B, Hero Designation: Chase.” She introduced herself in a dull monotone, sweeping her stoic gaze across the other students. She inhaled deeply before sighing, visibly relaxing, her face becoming visibly less stoic. “I enjoy the quiet and solitude, I detest crowds and rowdiness.” She kept her introduction short and simple, not having much to say. “I do not have anything else to say, next.”

[attr="class","hiraeth"]年轻的公牛期待着星星 | [attr="class","achee"] [attr="class","castleonthehill"] ❝ Bura felt like he didn't struggle with speaking, maybe articulation at times but not speaking as a whole. But as Bura thought about it, not being articulate or clear with your words or ideas could issue in the future, so he had to cover all of his bases for everything, for people will be looking up to him as a potential figure to look up and inspire the future. So not being the most articulated person around could muck that for him, so he has to go to Mosa's lesson and take part. The lesson is being taught by Mosa, the man who helped him control his emotional state into something more refined and stable. As Bura arrived, he sees many familiar faces and a few he never saw before. There was Kiersa, Monty, and Fion, and Prism for familiar faces, and a blue-haired boy and a pink-haired girl for new faces. Bura gave everybody a quick wave and smile as he took his seat for the class, and it was admittedly a tight squeeze, but he'll be fine. Bura fit into tighter spaces then this before. And after Mosa introduced himself and what this lesson entails, Bura listens to everybody's greeting and introduction rather attentively. Kiersa started- by going into maid mode, and then it falling apart by the end. Bura gave a gentle encouragement of a thumbs up at the blond girl-did she cut her hair recently? Next was Monty, he made a good speech, but after it seemed to have lost some steam, but Bura gave the other blond an encouraging nod of his head and smile. Next was Fion, probably the most chill and confidant of the greetings done so far Bura wondered if he was here for a reason like Bura himself? After Fion was Prism, who was always her excitable self, which Bura reacted back with a cheerful smile of his ow back at her. After Prism was the blue-haired boy, Cid was his name, and he won't forget it. Wait, he was from his classroom? Wild he should keep better track. And the last person to go before him was the pink-haired girl named Iida Katsumi- a second year. Which surprised Bura a bit but still got a smile out of him as she greeted herself in a rather plain and boring manner, but people be like that sometimes. "Oh, I'm next it seems!" Bura excitedly beamed as Iida went to him next with little warning, and Bura stood up to his full 2.44 meters self + his horns self and gave everybody a bright smile and a bright demeanor as he spoke, "Hello, I am Burabura Buruburu of class 1-A, A pleasure to meet you all!" Bura started before talking a bit more, "My quirk is Bull-sheep a quirk I inherited from my family, so that explains why I'm so big, and I aim to be a great Pro-hero one people can depend on and be able to trust with their lives and well-being!" Bura went on excitedly. Bura let out a small chuckle and sheepishly spoke once more as he sat down. "Hehe-sorry I tend to get too chatty when excited, but who's next?" Bura excused himself as he looks to who's next in the seating order. ✉ tag -- ( @someone ) ✎ 546 words ※ notes here, please keep it short. |

Most of their efforts were relatively simple. Mosa gave off a very calming nod hopefully towards Kiersa. Some people just liked to be very official about it, curtseys and bows and all. In beaus case however, It was nice to see he had both a sense of humour, and the manners to boast. Well, aside from the awkwardness of sitting back down. Honestly it was sort of adorable, how careful every single one of them was. Then came Fion, who clearly radiated confidence. Even the topics he brought up were quite simple in some manner. "I don't think any of us wouldn't enjoy something like that from time to time." Mosa offered in a bit of small talk. Prisms introduction was very excited with a little to give in form. Luckily, this wasn't a lesson about language specifically, just how to use what you had. Overall the latter half of the group was more excited, Cid and Bura being prime examples of it, and Iida... well, serving as a prime opposite example. Very down to the point. Nothing bad in that either.
With all the introductions done, Mosa himself gave a little bow. "And its an honor to meet every single one of you. Welcome to the class." With that, he proceeded to refer to his notes on all of them. "Now, let's start the evaluation." He lifted his pencil up, and waggled it between his fingers. "Did you notice something? There were two sorts of interactions here, and things you might have been trying to do without acknowledging it." Mosa tapped his pencil against his notebook. "Some of you in a way handled it quickly, getting straight to business, and then letting the others have a turn of their own. Very formal, if you will." He notched his head a bit to the side. "Meanwhile some had more of an excited tone, and were very ready to give a lot of personal information. Very exciting and attention grabbing." He nodded.
However, before he moved on, he felt the need to clarify. "Now, I will say, that it doesn't matter which way you do it. As Heroes, you are in one of those lucky positions, where you can pretty much choose what you want your image to be. It just gives me a picture of how you would like to perhaps be seen." He pointed towards Bura. "As an example, I introduced myself as your teacher, and I told you what I am going to teach you. And thus, the image is formed: I am naturally going to be teaching you something." He nodded. Admittedly, a little bit silly and extra simple example of what they would be doing, but it hopefully got his point across.
"You can gather a lot from a small amount of words, if you read on them a little. And today, We will help you form, what sort of image you want to get across." And that was pretty much another task for them to attempt. "Now, tell us, what do you think of the person who talked before you? What they as a person in your opinion are about? What sort of person might they want to come across as?" He offered the turn to Kiersa. "You can start by telling us what you think of Buras introduction, if you want." However for one more moment he turned towards the entire group. "Now, of course, this isn't about us critiquing how they did their introduction. It is about what was IN their introduction. let's keep it clean, and what not." He tried to avoid a situation where one of the students would lock-up simply cause somebody said something mean about them. Although it didn't really seem like there would be any problem students here.

Kiersa was glad to see she wasn't the only one out of this class to give a formal greeting and introduction, although everyone else by comparison was far more casual and open by comparison. At least from her viewpoint. Ganbaroshi-sensei then went on to talk a bit more, clarifying that how each of them had just now presented themselves would be commented on by another member of the class to figure out what was in their introduction...
Since how one introduces themselves, helps to frame how people would initially see them from the onset. Kiersa proceeded to mentally smack her forehead, as whilst her introduction had been formal and polite, it had been the result of her slipping back into her maid self prior to coming here...
But that was a concern for when Monty would give his analysis on her introduction... For now, she had to give her view on how Burabura had introduced himself, focusing on what was in his presentation rather than how it was delivered. The young blonde tapped her chin in thought, trying to separate what she already knew about Burabura and pretend that this is the first time she'd met him, trying to base it purely on his introduction.
What she wanted to say was that it let everyone know that he has a strong connection with his family since he mentioned them in conjunction with his Quirk, although maybe a little sensitive about his height perhaps. His introduction also let the audience know that he wants to become someone that people can depend on in dangerous situations where lives were on the line...
But what actually came out, was simply this. "I th-think it was good." said Kiersa with a soft smile and a bow of her head to the rest of the class.

There was like a rainbow of personalities in here and a few people who were really confident...like completely comfortable in their own skin. Maybe that was his problem...? You know, that he was such a far cry from being comfortable in his own skin...namely because of his quirk. No matter how many times people tried to offer some sort of positive input that his quirk wasn't the worst...his mind couldn't help but bounce back to wild facts like how it felt more like chronic illness and visually unappealing. That's why he opted to do so much prep work, it was to prevent not only himself from experiencing as little discomfort as possible and make sure he didn't disgust his peers.
[break][break]
Like a courtesy to others, especially those he was working alongside of so that he at least had some time before needing to actually use his quirk. Sure, he didn't expect this class to fix how he felt about himself...but he hoped it would help him somehow, some way with the other things linked up with his anxiety. Only socializing with small groups for most of his life was what one may go on to call crippling to his own growth in terms of social competence. At least he had one of his best friends here, so that really did help. Side glancing toward Fion for a moment during a pause within the atmosphere, he spoke softly beneath his breath with a gentle smile across his lips, "Thank you, Fion..."
[break][break]
All of the people in his life that he'd met in U.A...he'd been immensely fortunate to have all of them and without a doubt, he knew that the otaku over here made a positive contribution. Delving his mind into the core of the lesson, Ganbaroshi-sensei mentioned something he hadn't completely thought about before, not intentionally, anyway. The way they all introduced themselves connected to their sub-conscience, didn't it? Fion was the easiest for him to analyze of the bunch as a relatable comparison to the example which Ganbaroshi-sensei provided. Always trying to keep himself approachable versus his own friendly business approach, trying to be professional...yet...erm...welcoming?
[break][break]
Sometimes he fell short on coming off as welcoming, though so...oof, as the memes would so eloquently put it. Heck, he wondered how he carried himself and how others perceived him since there were times where he'd be closed off to the point of seeming cold...though admittedly, he did actively keep people at a distance in the past. Still, it was a tough habit to shake, but he wasn't gonna let that stop him from being a good hero...or so he hoped. Slowly blinking a couple of times, he shifted his gaze toward Kiersa who he was supposed to try and pin point what she was going for...right? Was that how she wanted to present herself in a crowd or...was it something she defaulted to out of safety?
[break][break]
Bringing his hand upon his chin in thought while partially closing his eyes for a moment...he didn't know how to word it since he didn't want to come off as rude. Trying to think back on their matches...he...didn't feel like the introduction matched her much...in that respect anyway. "...I felt like you took a step aside to be different from the person I remember working with during out exhibitions and classes, Kiersa-san. It's not a bad thing, but if that's what you're working toward..." Moving his hand off his chin, he rest his fingertips upon his chest and lightly tapped it a couple of times with a gentle smile, "...if that's within your heart to build upon and become, you'll be there in no time to the point where it's more natural and fluid. However, personally I preferred the greetings you provided to myself and the others before this class, they felt more natural...as though they came from the heart without missing a beat."
[break][break]
Furrowing his brows for a moment, he hoped that it didn't come off as harsh...if anything, he'd make it a point to apologize in the event she felt hurt by that. Hopefully not, though, it was more what he got out of it...which..um...was part of the exercise...unless he was completely off base. In which case whoops!

Fion took not of everyone's introductions in case he needed to remember them all at some point aswell as to keep in mind how he may handle an intro in the future since you never know? Then came something interesting step two which was reviewing and critiquing the person who introduced themselves before them it sounded fun and might be helpful for the more awkward intro's.
He would have to talk about Monty's which was helpful seeing as he knew him on a personal level already so pretty simple to say his opinion without much worry of any backlash if he goes a little harsh. Fion silently listened to Kiersa's obvious freeze up on talking about Bura and then came Monty's turn which well he gave a fairly honest and concise answer though Fion did think it was kind of funny since Monty still needed to make his intro feel a little more natural. He found Monty had a good one but he was far to formal in his own introduction could afford to let loose abit and give just something more casual sounding.
"Monty's introduction felt too formal he could have afforded more casual wording it was helpful he gave out his nickname sure but besides that it was like introducing yourself at a fancy party not to perspective friends in a classroom. But I will say this that introduction was one hundred percent the real Monty he is just a more formal kind of guy."
Fion knew he had said alot of words there but it just came naturally to him sometimes he has alot to say and sometimes he doesn't just how he works. He though was now wondering about the person after himself and what they might say about Fion will it be positive or perhaps his confidence was a little too much?

"Not much excitement from friend fion, very basic?", she put a hand under her chin trying to make sure she was using the right words to try and explain herself. Her tail curled up around her waist as she was trying to stop herself from being to bouncy and distracting during class. "I think needs more interesting! more interesting to make you you in hero world.", she shrugged and looked around at the rest of the class making sure she was doing right. She found the japanese language to be quite hard so she was trying to doublecheck that they were not TOO confused at the words she was speaking.
"One thing more, I think you should smile", she grinned and put her finger on the side of her side of her face at the end of her lips to try and extend the smile more. "Make more friendly face if smile, hero need be reassuring?", she said as she tilted her head and then sat back down after saying her last bit. 'I wonder if I made any sense to these people?', she wondered to herself. It was clear as daylight she was the worst speaker here, by far.

It was review time and so far those that gave them seemed kind of cautious about what they were going to say and gave very polite criticisms. Kiersa was almost too polite and just said it was good, not really giving Bura anything to work with. Monty put in a bit more detail and continued with his very polite mannerisms. After him was Fion who was much more blunt with his description, but given how polite people were being that isn't saying much. He was quick to point out Monty's almost over formal tendencies but added that it was simply how Monty was so was pretty perfect in that regard. Next came Prism, the person Cid would need to review and even with her review he was feeling a little bad for her. Consulting his notes quickly as Prism was speaking, Cid felt a bit bad for the girl. It was pretty obvious what he downfall was when it came to her introduction and it was one he couldn't fault her for. Despite her shortcoming with vocabulary, she managed to get her point across fairly well. At least he understood, the Aussie couldn't speak for Fion after all.
Now it was his turn! Clearing his throat he set down his pen and started to speak. "Your's was super high energy Prism, almost a little too much if you ask me. Shows what kind of person you are though, especially with the few facts you gave about yourself and all in all I enjoyed listening to it. Also good Vocabulary for only being here four months, can't wait to hear what your intro will sound like when you improve." Cid said with a smile in her direction. There wasn't too much else to say about it other than that. Admittedly he had to take the time to think of a nice way to phrase learn more Japanese. Prism stuck him as the sensitive type and he didn't want to dampen her spirits by being overly harsh for an otherwise good start! But how would his be graded?

Come her turn and she was feeling a bit nervous about the given task. She didn’t know how to approach the activity, having never really held a casual conversation with other people beyond the purposes on information or instruction. She decided to take this step by step. Katsumi thought of what she was going to say about the person that came before her’s introduction. First she tried to recall his name. ‘Was it Cid or Seed?’ She thought for a moment. ‘Probably Cid, no one in their right mind would call their child Seed, that would be a cruelty beyond cruelties.’ She tried to recall how he introduced himself and tried to break it down into components. She got her thoughts in order before she opened her mouth to finally speak.
“For the purposes of analyzing your introduction I have broken it down into parts that I will now give my observations on.” She began, looking at Cid. “I have found that your introduction consists of the following parts. In order these are: An opening greeting, informative segment, and a closing remark.” She declared, bringing up a finger from her right hand as she counted the parts. “The opening greeting and closing remark acting as natural start and end to your introduction.” She looked like she was about to say more before frowning and shaking her head. “Moving on to the informative segment. Compared to the two parts I have previously mentioned, this is more wordy. There isn’t anything wrong with that as this is the focus of your introduction.”
She decided against saying things along the lines of people talking too much and ended her explanation there. It wouldn’t be productive for her to criticize the entire class for talking too much, especially because of the subject being taught. “I have nothing else to say.” She bowed slightly before slowly taking her seat and waiting for the next set of instructions.
