As expected, before the correct amount of justice could be excised out of a guilty party, there was always some kind of issue to come up that would interrupt such a process. In this case, the creature behind the door. A large black mass, it drooled a similarly coloured liquid from any section of it's body, followed by trails of gaseous form. Some of the liquid approached Seigi and the others in his company, and quickly batting it with his blades, he came to find a slight smoking coming from behind the metallic weapons, a globule sinking into his armour. Acidic in nature, this was clearly the result of the research he had seen – or at least a by-product. However, there was an alternate possibility, no; an assurance that a combination was afoot. Something like this was not the result of one harvested section of another human, there was no logical way that would be possible. From the notes he had found, scattered across the floor, he quickly put together the result. This creature was made up of multiple sections of the body which used unique quirk physiology, as he had seen from the quirk organ sheet. Using the base of the acidic organ notes he had discovered, combined with the registry, it was simple enough to decipher – the acid quirk organ had essentially become a brain or modus operandi for a separate hive mind quirk organ. And, for good measure, just to make sure the pot was brought to boil at the right temperature, some kind of hyperactive bonding agent increased the power output of both, creating a singular hive entity with no kind of goal, acting purely out of instinct. Seigi would, of course, stay distrustful of the doctor: “It seems a surprise witness to your trial has entered, doctor. Consider yourself suspended, at least for the time being.” He turned to face the creature, seeing that the girl had begun to fight back with foolish brute strength, using a cabinet of files to protect herself, declaring that she was in fact protecting them. “You have a mind for combat like an ant has a mind for foraging: diligent, consistent, but overtly meaningless.” said Justice to whatever her name may have been. The doctor had said 'Nikki' in reference to her, but to dignify someone so caught up in tactical buffoonery with their name was, had always been, and should always be idiotic. “This creature, it is made up of several organs working in tandem. They each function differently, but no matter which is destroyed, the creature's power will falter: is that understandable, or must I demonstrate?” After he said this, Seigi began to analyse the creature's inner workings, trying to make out where an organ would be held. Its amorphous form didn't exactly do wonders to help, but calmly, Seigi would attempt a strike towards the creature's abdomen with his blades – under the impression that from the quirk harvested that erupted all this liquid, organic materials were less disrupted by it. With his healing in play as well, he would attempt to defend his right to question the doctor by defeating this intruder.

Goopy Gary as Nikki had lovingly dubbed him swiped aside the few remaining pieces of furniture that had been used to block off his entrance to the scene, a hissing growl slithering through his fangs as he seemed to take in the scene. It was difficult to tell if he could even see through all the ooze seeping through his skin, but from the fact he only reacted as Nikki seemed to be coming in for another attack, it was easy to get the impression his vision was poor, if not entirely non-existant. He let out a more vicious growl as that filing cabinet struck him square in the chest, his back slamming against one of the nearby walls. The ooze seeping from his body seemed to sizzle and his against the cabinet and the wall, but the damage was minimal, tossing them aside and dragging himself back out of it respectively. His focus was in Nikki’s general direction, the woman making a smart move in striking him from range, and the bladed man soon stepping in to make sure it didn’t force her to suffer any large consequences.
Sensing something ahead of him the acidic creature raised a claw over it’s head, easily standing above all those in the room in height despite the ‘youthful’ origins of it’s makeup. It’s claws came down trying to strike the man before them, though whether it’s attack landed or not it at least suffered a heavy cut against his arm. The oozing layer of protection would do significant damage to the blades, but the beast easily seemed to suffer more, the flesh beneath the acidic substance gooey, constantly burning, and constantly healing, fresh, soft, and easy to cut through. The wound did however seem to be closing up, an odd bulging of the creature’s form coming from it’s right hip, surging up along it’s torso and down it’s shoulder, cells or some other similar substance bulging around the wound and starting to close it up, the beast recovering from the pain, and turning it’s focus back on the bladed ‘hero’ in the scene, chasing after him with a wild flurry of strikes.
If the doctor in the scene were so inclined he may have shifted through, past the fighting creature and into the room he came from. Sadly, there’d be no hints to his containment. With the fire doing damage to the building’s structure, a series of ceiling panels had come loose and seemingly knocked over some of the shelves, jars with organs from eyes to oddly stone like kidneys or scaled hands lining the intact shelves, a series of harmless, dead organs spilled onto the floor from the destroyed shelves, and in turn, a small number of jars with no organs spilt nearby, and from the deep burning in the wooden flooring around them, likely the source of where the creature had spawned from.

Watching as his associate Nikki took the first charge, the creature would of taken the full blunt of the cabinet assaulting it before the doctor made his move. He would inch closer towards the hole that the creature creeped out of and peered inside. Their "unique" friend spoke his fair share above the crackling noise of fire and material allowing Cyril to only make out bits and pieces of what he said. The dark-skinned man was more focused on the fact that there was no containment pod, or rope, or table made for restraining this thing. So in this room there was no clear idea or method of how this group of three could seal this creature back into the room it came from. Did that mean that they would have to kill it?
The thought of destroying another scientist's creation brought a moment of silence amongst the usually crazy mind of the young doctor, though he knew that his survival was more important. He had to get out of here, if not for himself than for the kids that he was destined to help in the future. Turning to get back into the room with his "teammates" Cyril would be back right in time for the other male in the group to go onto the offensive as well. He seemed to swipe and claw at the creature with blades of his own make, they did not look like any weapon Cyril had come across in his lifetime. The damage was clearly done well though from t he experiments he had been an assistant to, Cyril could tell when someone was regenerating. But how to stop it?
Thinking that this would be his moment to take action, Cyril would find a space further away from what would be considered to be close-combat and take aim his eyes narrowing on the target he wanted to become a victim of his quirk. Cracks would appear along the sides of his eyes as their turned gold. Within seconds a pale gray beam of light would shoot out from his eyes aiming for the bulbous pulsating "organ" that he assumed may of been the source of the creature's regeneration in an attempt to petrify it and prevent it from supporting the monster's body.

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “Oh we can sure as shit see just how ‘meaningless’ my metal fist is when it’s rammed down your throat later, eh?” Growling at the mouthiness of her white haired ‘ally’, though she was certainly appreciative of the addition he made to the battle given the bizarre beast that was their enemy she felt far less positively about that overbearing arrogance that he showed, and guessed with an attitude like this the stranger was someone she could never count on as an ally for long. Fucker thinks he’s such hot shit, but he’s not doing anything to hurt it either is he…? Shaking her head and clicking her tongue as she narrowed her gaze toward him, though Nikki had no idea what frosty-fleeced fool wished to achieve with such scathing description of her effort to hold back their enemy ultimately all he achieved was an increased sense of ire from his teammate, which was doubled down when it seemed that mister high and mighty motor mouth could do little to quell good old Goopy Gary than she had. All talk and no trousers, wasn’t he? No dice huh? Tough fucker for a guy made of goop, ain’t it? Making sure to keep her distance from the caustic monster when it seemed that neither of their strikes seemed to do all that much to quell it either, though Miss Nakajima had been acting more in the effort of detainment and distraction than anything else, the dark dish still felt disappointed that neither her cabinet or the swipe of captain asshat seemed to incur any lasting damage, and as such she found herself looking toward the more cerebral Cyril for advice. “You got anything doc? Bugger don’t seem like he’s gonna go down easy to the usual beating the fuck outta ‘em tactics?” Gifted more in the brawn than brains department but her ‘partner’ in this little jaunt into the unknown seeming to have the opposite inclination, since he had asked her to buy him time the sable siren had to hope that her bronze skinned buddy had a plan in mind for how to deal with the thing, and hopefully it would be more effective than throwing every piece of furniture in the room at it with the vain expectation than victory. That some kinda weak point for it…? It seeming that he was up to something though and as such his attack catching the red eye of the young raven, though she had no idea exactly what kind of effect that the quirk of her comrade might have on their enemy or the exposed spot he seemed to be aiming for, at the very least his effort gave her something to hit for and as such she snapped up a jagged piece of metal which seemed to have once been part of one of the desks or cabinets and used it in hand as a makeshift weapon in a follow up attack. “Ya think that’s it’s heart or summin…?” Lucky for her that steely form meaning that such a crude piece of weaponry would not scratch her hand as she gripped it tightly and rushed forward to skewer their foe with the item, Nikki had no idea honestly if what she was doing would even register the slightest piece of damage on their acidic adversary but hoped that something a little more ‘solid’ than its slimy mass might prove to be a useful bullseye, and with the heft she put behind her attack hoped that at the very least she might be able to pin a piece of him to the wall he had been blasted back against as well…
