Bura couldn't recognize where he was. It was dark, yet loud and overwhelming, Bura wanted to cover his ears, but when he tried to raise his hands to cover his ears, he couldn't, they were trapped in something, cold and not natural, Bura kept tugging at his arms until he remembers something was off. And Bura realized what was was wrong his hands were tied back, and then his eyes widen in fear, he was tied up like that night---what night? Bura's dream-filled mind tried to confuse him as he tried in vain to remember something wrong. Something horrible. Something defining in his life. But yet he couldn't quite reach out to the truth stuck in his memories.
Suddenly, gunshots and the world cloaked in the darkness revealed itself with each flash of gunfire to that of a corner store. And when Bura looked at the source of the gunshots, the small shadowy figures fell to the ground in a small pile, Bura eyes widen in shocked for reasons his mind couldn't quite connect why. But he knew that happening was an awful thing to happen. But he can't place why. He can't understand why it was wrong. Why that made his blood boil to his savage state, but his mind was still clear despite all his rage.
Suddenly the scene flashes red as if his rage was so potent that it colored the world red. And as he laid on the ground. A faceless figure laid on the floor with its mess of white hair stained with blood from the pouring wound with three figures of women standing over it. Bura's eyes widened more in fear even more and Bura let out a scream of-"MI---"
"CHI!" Bura's raw and hoarse voice cried out to the air as his now free hands reach up to the air to try and reach for the figure he now remembers as Michi. Who-who-who got hurt because of him. Bura's red and black eyes started to well up with tears as relief washes over him as his real memories flood back to him-she is fine-he is fine-everything was fine- he lied to himself as the tears keep falling from his eyes as his hands were still reaching up to the skies above, and scattered all around him was his sweaty training clothes and other training items, he remembers now-he fell and he couldn't stand back up-he was too comfortable-he fell asleep-how long was he asleep for. He couldn't remember what time it was, he only knew it was sundown, and now-now the moon was high in the sky---how long has he been asleep.

One of the best things about Kyouko's quirk was the fact she could practice as much as she wanted to without too much trouble from others. Since her quirk wasn't that noticeable unless someone was paying attention. So training was very easy for the girl when it came to how long she could hold her quirks form. Still holding its form for long extended periods didn't help her exhaustion. She was already a girl who loved to sleep and practicing her quirk's limits wasn't very helpful. So as the sun was beginning to set she could feel her body becoming sluggish and her eyes drooping.
Kyouko gave a big yawn and stretched her arms out a bit as she found a place to sit down in the grass nearby. Something about nature was relaxing for the young girl. It was probably from the years of training in the forest near her home. She had become so accustomed to flora and fauna. Who could blame her though? Being forced to hide her quirk from the world just because of her family felt wrong. Kyouko wanted to use her quirk for good and freedom. She felt special with her quirk and she wanted to express this individuality. Kyouko didn't want to be like her older brother who was a simple student at another school just studying for a simple desk job. That was her reason for joining the hero program here at U.A. It might be a bit selfish even vain of a reason to do so, but she didn't care. Kyouko was happy and that's all that mattered right?
Sitting in the grass she looked up at the sky and admired the yellows and oranges slowly cascade down the sky creating a very ambient atmosphere. It was beautiful. Taking another deep breath she closed her eyes and let the sounds of nature overtake her senses. Birds chirping as they began to fall asleep in their nests and the crickets rubbing their legs to signal their presence. It was very calming, but the sounds of nature were disrupted by something more human. Kyouko's eyes widened in shock. "Did someone just?" she questioned herself aloud and looked in the direction of where the scream came from. She debated on if she should go see what was going on or not for a few seconds before getting up and making her way towards the source.
The moon was now visible in the night sky as she found the source of the scream. Another student who if she remembered correctly was in class A. A much larger student he was, but something about him struck her as a gentle giant type of person. Kyouko couldn't remember if the two had many interactions in school yet so why not now? As she approached him she commented on his hands being in the air, "if you are trying to reach the stars I don't think that will work." She gave the boy a soft smile as she got closer and noticed the tears in his eyes. He had been crying? Was making the joke a bit much then? She had only wanted to break the silence. Kyouko tilted her head and continued, "You seem troubled. Do you want to talk about it?"

Kiersa sat in her room going over the notes she'd taken from the classes that day and making sure that they were coherent. More accurately she was rewriting her notes from the quick shorthand she used during class into something coherent so that other people could use them if they asked for help with any of the subjects. Which was proving a little... tricky, especially since she had been using her Quirk in her room to act as a lamp. This was part of her own personal training to get a better sense of control over it, or at least how she justified it.
The blonde rubbed the back of her neck, sighing as she looked at the squiggles and lines that were meant to be words and numbers, but at the moment just looked like nonsense. "Maybe I should get some sleep..." she muttered to herself before hearing someone crying out a name outside. Who could be outside at this time of night? Kiersa went to the balcony to take a look outside and saw a familiar big and fluffy boy, with an unfamiliar girl walking towards him. Was Bura in trouble?!
Kiersa quickly grabbed a jacket and put on her boots before rushing down the stairs and out the dorm's door, making her way towards where she'd seen Bura and the girl, with her hands glowing like torches so that she could see a bit more clearly where she was going. As she arrived on the scene, she began to wonder what exactly she could do if this girl had taken down Bura... but then she spotted the various bits of training equipment scattered across the ground.
She gave a long groan and sighed before walking up over to Bura, ignoring the pink haired girl for the moment, knelt down beside the big fluffy idiot and then proceeded to try and place her hands on his shoulders, as she tried to let her Quirk work on repairing any damage he'd done to himself during his training, if there was any. "Y-You i-idiot..." she admonished him quietly. "I t-told you in the chat, n-not to p-push yourself s-so hard."

Bura's hands were still outstretched as if he was hoping something would fall into his hands, but instead, it felt like his sanity and any sense of hope was slipping between his fingers like water in a river. Bura's shut his eyes tight, trying to stop the dam from breaking. It's fine, he was fine, she was fine, everything was fine. Bura echoed this mantra in his head as if it was a comforting song instead it rang hollow and it caused his heart to ache, Bura can't handle much of this anymore, he wanted this ache and sadness in his heart to vanish already, and he can go back to being himself.
Bura didn't notice the pink-haired girl's joke and only really noticed her presence between pauses of his inner thoughts. Bura's eyes reflected what little light there was from the moon while not fully glowing, it had an eerie effect in the dark. But Bura's tears have stopped flowing freely, and Bura lowered his hands to his face and wiped away his tears from his eyes and face, his breath slowed down to a calmer pace, and Bura let out a heavy yet stabilizing sigh and rose to a sitting position Bura's was still almost as tall as the girl standing when he was sitting. Bura gave the girl a forced reassuring smile and said, "I'm fine, thank you for your concern, I was Just resting up here and I had a nightmare, Everything is fine," Bura lied through his teeth. He knew this girl was from 1-B but not much else, his mind was still too groggy to pick up other tidbits of info about her.
Bura was too distracted to notice the glowing light approaching up until it was impossible not to. And Bura turns his head as a soft yet firm voice called him an idiot. Bura was taken aback after the initial bubble of anger boiled away to confusion and concern as he realized who said it. It was Kiersa, and Bura was confused and startled by her calling him an idiot. He knew her as a very gentle and caring person-so even that light insult felt unnatural to hear from her. Bura looked at her startled and couldn't help but hyper-focus on her words. She told him in chat not to train too hard and not too push himself too hard. Bura's only response was to defensively lie, "No, no! I wasn't training Kiersa-chan, I was just---uh having a nap on the grass---" Bura tried to lie not even realizing that his gym clothes were scattered all around him quite yet.

"Nightmares can be incredibly scary things and often personify what we are fighting in our inner mind," She looked up at the stars and began to remember some of her nightmares. The screams, the pain, everything she could remember of those foggy nights sitting in the forests crying her tears out. "Whatever it is you are feeling just know that you aren't alone. You have others who care about you who are willing to listen to you when you need it the most," Kyouko said this without looking at Bura. Despite not feeling this way with her own family she knew that there were people who cared for others and though she hadn't found those to care for herself she was willing to send any kindness to those who needed it.
It wasn't long before they were joined by a third party. The blonde girl practically rushed Bura and ignored Kyouko completely. She furrowed her brow slightly at how rude that was but pushed it away. It wasn't like the two knew each other very well despite being in the same class. Kyouko never really talked to her classmates as much as she would have liked. She was in some sense shy to those she saw almost every day. It was something she needed to work on. Still, Kyouko could tell the girl and Bura knew each other by their interactions. Kyouko could also tell she knew something about Bura and his condition. Had he been having nightmares a lot lately? What was going on with him to cause him to scream out as he did? Kyouko wanted to pry, but she felt it wasn't her place to. If he wanted to say something he should be allowed to do it on his terms and not that of a stranger.
So Kyouko collected herself and decided to interject a bit between the two. She cleared her throat before speaking, "Whether he was training or not shouldn't be the main concern right now." Letting her hair down she used her quirk to extend the length of some of the strands to pick up the training equipment and the clothes around them. "We should probably head inside either way before it gets too dark don't want to get in trouble now do we?" She retracted the hair that had grabbed the clothing and equipment and placed them into her hands. "Shall we walk and talk then?"

Kiersa scowled at Bura as he tried to deny the training he'd been doing. She gestured to all of the equipment and gear scattered around them. "Th-Then where d-did all o-of this c-come f-from then?" the blonde argued back. A part of her really wanted to smack him across the head for being such an idiot and pushing himself so hard that he'd obviously collapsed... But the dried tear stains that she could see on his face with her light held her back.
So Kiersa settled for trying to flick him on the nose instead. She understood Bura's desire to get better... because she felt the same way. Maybe not to the same degree as the big fluffy boy did for obvious reasons... But she felt she had to improve as well, compared to the rest of her class. Everyone in her class was so much more confident in their Quirks than she was, not to mention their own abilities...
That was when the pink haired girl's words caught her attention. Kiersa recalled her now, being in the same class as her but hadn't had much in the way of interacting with her yet. Kyouko, like the rest of Class 1-B, seemed to be so much more self-assured than Kiersa was, and she wasn't sure how to go about striking up a conversation most of the time. But that was a matter for later, right now they were outside the dorm... after curfew!
The blonde gave a small squeaking eep of realisation of the trouble the three of them were in, immediately beginning to try and help Bura to his feet! God he was heavy! "Y-Yes, l-let's g-get going now then. S-Sorry f-for i-ignoring you earlier Miss Kaminoke." she said rather rapidly in a feeble attempt at sounding calm. Her head started to sharply look around them like a demented meerkat on lookout. Kiersa had never gotten into trouble at school before, not once! And she wasn't about to start now!

Niji sat inside the common area preparing for the next day. She had a math test to get ready for, a support project due, and she needed to check out this Singing Club that Honey was talking about. Not to mention she had a date to prepare with Desmoshi- her first one at that. She was kind of scared, to be honest. Sure they talk and hang out at the school. But they never really publically went out for a date. What would she talk about? Did she talk about her past? She was at a loss.
Niji was just about to turn the page when she heard screaming coming from outside. Then she saw Kiersa running down the stairs and the door. What was going on out there? Was someone in trouble? She needed to be sure. So she closed her book and stepped out to see what the commotion was about.
Outside, she could see Burabura, shaking like a leaf. Niji met him at Tetsuko-sempai's lessons and thought of him as a gentle fellow. Next to him was Kiersa who she met on her first day. And then there was the pink-haired girl, Kyouko, who she met at the first-year party. It looked like the two girls were trying to console the gentle giant. "Hey, guys. Is everything okay?" Niji called out with worry. "Maybe you should come inside. We don't want to many people worrying."

He looked a bit confounded by the pink-haired girl's words Bura wasn't expecting that from her. He expected something a little less-professional sounding. Not that he judge her by her appearance but rather by the fact that he just woke up and was unable to process her words as best as he could at the moment. Bura groggily was unsure of how to respond but with a simple, "Wha-?" Bura wasn't able to finish his line of thought as a Kiersa arrived and accused him correctly of what he was lying bout. And before Bura could refute his point, the pink-haired girl started to grab his loose clothing and training stuff, and before he could say he can grab it himself. Kiersa flicked him on the tip of the nose. Which from the suddenness of it, Bura let out a small, "Gah!" as he grabbed his nose defensively. It didn't hurt more surprised him, to be honest.
As if things could be worse, another girl popped out of the woodworks and asked if they were okay, and frankly, Bura was starting to get a little annoyed by all this coddling by the girls, but Bura let out a small defeated sigh as he stood up. As Bura stood up to his full towering height, Bura's legs wobbled from his massive built, and he almost fell back down but thankfully caught himself in the last second with kiersa's help. Bura let out a small defensive "I'm fine-fine just still a bit sleepy-" Before anybody could start to worry about him. Bura's head felt dizzy, and his head pulsates with an ache, but he didn't let that show. He already wasted enough of their time and worry.
As Kyouko grabbed his clothes and bag, Bura politely bowed at Kiersa and then at Kyouko and gently grabbed his stuff with a small "Thank you." And he looked at the three girls surrounding him and asked, "I take we are all going to the same place--- What time is it exactly?" Bura asked genuinely confused by the time since as he pulls out his phone, it looks like it has been dead for a while now, how long has he been out cold? Great, he's going to be up all night now-at least he can get his studying done tonight and get caught up since his training session has been slowing down his studying by a considerable amount lately.

Soon another party joined their little group. Was this slowly becoming a night party? Might be a bit unauthorized so if it turned into one they might get in trouble. Best to try and keep things on the down-low just in case. Kyouko didn't want to get into too much trouble while in school. Sure she could be a free spirit at times, but she needed to keep her head down till she could be free to enjoy herself and help others. Anyways the new addition was Niji whom Kyouko had met previously at the first-year party. She was able to organize things so getting them inside and away from trouble was very likely. This was good. Kyouko smiled at Niji before turning her attention back to Bura.
He was getting up! This was very good they had made progress! Despite him wobbling a bit to stand he was able to get his balance decently well. Kyouko was able to get a full view of his height and she couldn't help and say, "Oh wow." Her neck was craned up to see his face. Bura was such a tall man and Kyouko felt so small in comparison. Sure Kyouko wasn't the smallest person, but she wasn't tall either. Kyouko felt a tad envious of Bura and his height. It must be nice to be able to tower above others so easily. To be able to look past others and walk by them without so much as a simple glance. It made her feel insecure about herself and the height she had.
Kiersa helped Bura up and apologized for ignoring her earlier and Kyouko still feeling a bit out of it when thinking about Bura's height responded half-heartedly, "Its ok." She let Bura take his stuff and she gave a pained smile to his thank-you. He didn't need her help he was a big boy. Who was she kidding she wasn't going to be a hero at this rate. Why was she so stupid? She should just leave school and go back home and be like her brother. Kyouko should study to be an accountant or a doctor or something maybe that would be a better place for her. She could hide her quirk and just never use it outside of the forests near her home. It's not like she could hurt anyone out there and the local fauna kept to themselves anyway.
She was brought back to reality though when Bura asked what time it was to which Kyouko put her smile back on and replied, "It's around eight." Kyouko looked back where she came from and the peaked at the sky seeing the stars now filling the sky. It was getting late. If they weren't careful it would be ten before they knew it. Kyouko took her hair tie and pulled on her hair to put it back into its ponytail. There she was back to her appearance before helping to pick up Bura's stuff. She looked back at the rest of the group and said gently, "Alright enough idle talking we should get inside now."

And then Miss Uta joined the ensemble as well. "Y-Yes Miss Uta. B-Burabura was just o-overdoing his training a-again..." she explained to the girl with a bow of her head, before starting to make her way back towards the dorms, with her hands lit up still in order to act as pseudo lamp slash torches. Don't want to accidentally fall into any holes or trip on anything out here after all.
Kiersa just hoped that nobody got any improper ideas if they saw Burabura returning to the dorms all sweaty and accompanied by a trio of girls... The blonde girl quickly smacked her cheeks and shook her head to remove that particular image from her mind before it could become any more prolific. When Miss Kaminoke mentioned that it was only eight or so, Kiersa blinked and double checked her own watch. After giving it a couple of taps the second hand began moving again, causing her to sigh.
Just how long had it been stuck like that?! She almost had had a heart attack thinking that it was past ten at night which would have meant they would all have been out after curfew! First thing in the morning, Kiersa resolved, is to get this watch fixed before it causes her any more grief.

As the students came inside the common area, Niji decided to head to the kitchen part of the area and put on some tea for everyone. It was weird that Burabura was out by himself in the middle of the night. But she was one to talk. How many nights had she spent working on a new invention when she should be resting? How many nights had she spent pouring over inventions by old creators and trying to find ways to improve it? How many nights had she spent crying over the past that she had failed to protect? She did all of it so it won't happen again. Maybe Burabura was training so he could avoid some horrible fate. She wasn't too sure.
"I hope everyone likes tea," Niji said as she poured four cups of it. "My butler usually makes me some whenever I have trouble with things or when I overtrain a bit. It helps me relax." As she sat the tray down on the common room table, She sat on a chair on the opposite end and took a good look at Bura. His usually tamed wool was in all sorts of a mess with bits of grass and dirt marking his once cleaned white. "If I may ask Bura," Niji started looking at the young man, "is everything okay?"

As Bura and the girls enter the shared living area of the dorms, Niji wasted no time to head to the dorm's kitchens. Bura and the others (probably he wasn't checking on the others as keenly) followed behind as she spoke, asking if they liked tea, which frankly Bura felt parched from his impromptu nap. So he took a seat on one of the many chairs in the room and says, "Yeah, Tea sounds nice right about now." Bura says, trying to ignore how the girl mentions her butler so causally, he only focused on how it relaxes her.
Bura himself doesn't realize how much of a mess he looked, his usually clean wool, was all disheveled with his well-made braids and tied sections all wild and frayed with bits of sticks and leaves sticking all over the place. Even Bura's normally expressive eyes were half-lidded and had bags under them which even he never saw in his life, to put it bluntly, he looked like a mess. Bura despite how much of a mess he felt like and how much he looks like right now, Bura was surprised by Niji's question.
"What of course everything is fine, nothing's wrong, everything's fine, everything is fine, you needn't be concerned over yourself over me, I am fine, I'm not lying." Bura lied through his teeth.

This is good they were finally getting a move on into the common area. They wouldn't be in trouble for being outside past curfew and they could have a few hours to talk before they each would head into bed. Kyouko honestly let out a sigh of relief to be back inside. She didn't want to get into trouble as she knew this school was more of a home than her home was. That's not to say she didn't love her family and the living accommodations she had there, but rather she always felt trapped there while here at school she was able to be herself and enjoy her life. Quirk and all.
Niji would, of course, offer tea for the group, and Kyouko couldn't help and ask, "Oooo do you have Darjeeling?" She would then turn her attention to Bura who looked a little worse for wear. She didn't pay much attention to his appearance when they were outside as she was more worried about his screams and being out late. Now that they were in a proper light facility she could tell how disheveled he was. "Here let me help," she said as she began to gently pull out leaves and sticks from Bura's mane. She also produced a brush from the handbag she had with her and looked at Kiersa and asked, "Would you be willing to brush out some of the kinks while I remove the foliage?"
When Bura began to lie blatantly through his teeth Kyouko had to give him a rather pointed look. She didn't know him that well or anything, but she could tell when people were being dishonest. "You aren't doing yourself any favors by lying you know," Kyouko said rather bluntly before continuing, "I know some things are hard to say or put into words, but letting people in will help heal wounds. It doesn't have to be a full open door policy into your heart but even a crack to let the light shine in will illuminate the darkness." It was probably a bit cheesy, but it was something she remembered her mom told her when she was younger. Sure her mother probably could have heeded her advice at times, but she always had this weird nugget of wisdom in her that would stick. Kyouko took a deep breath and added, "None of us will look at you any different if you vent your woes to us. You just have to trust us." She placed her hand on Bura's giant paw and looked at him with caring eyes.

Aaaand Niji mentioned that she had a butler after making the offer of tea for everyone. That would explain the limousine that she had seen the first day she'd arrived here at UA. It had been hers... The young blonde had to restrain herself from pouring the tea on Niji's behalf, biting her lower lip as she held her "maid mode" back as it were.
Thankfully Miss Kaminoke offered an avenue that could help alleviate her situation a bit. "Of course." she said with a smile and a nod towards the pink haired girl, accepting the offered brush and immediately getting to work on Burabura's tangled fluff. It really was quite soft. She had been expecting it to feel a little more wirey, but this was almost as soft as pillow down. Now she just had to make sure she didn't let sleep overtake her...
Kiersa would try to give the hair a few light brushes at first on the surface, partially to test the tangled waters since Bura had a lot of fluffy hair and she didn't want to accidentally hurt him... But then he began to lie about everything being fine. She gave the brush a quick yank through his fur, much deeper than the earlier brushing had been. There was a big tangled knot in the section she brushed, but the quick parse undid it although it would probably sting like an absolute mother.
"Oops. Sorry." the blonde apologised, although there was a hard glint in her eyes that seemed to promise more of the same if Burabura kept on lying to the group. She understood that he wanted to process things in his own time, but straight up burying it and lying to people who only wanted to help... That was a big no no in the young maid's books.

Niji nodded quietly to the words of Kyouko, the young woman giving sound advice to their hardheaded classmate. She had these words before but from a different source. Honey-senpai had given this same advice when she was trying to run away from her problems or bury herself away. It was that night Niji came to slow realization that she could not run from her problems nor change the past. She had to be prepared for the future and making her own way. And she had to do that by opening up to others and letting them in.
"She is right," Niji said. "Hiding is something I use to do as well. I would bury myself in my work and hope that whatever was bothering me would go away. I kept saying to myself if I was stronger, than no one else will get hurt. Not on my watch." Niji took a deep breath and looked at Bura, thinking back to the conversation she had with Honey on her first night here. "But that's not how things work. Holding things only caused me more problems and eventually, it finally broke me. On the first night I got here, I almost gave in not wanting to continue this journey. I had even given up on singing like I use to because it hurt so much. But you have to let people in. You have to trust those around you. Besides by the end of the day, all we got is each other." She smiled towards the young man, encouraging him to try. "So, Bura, let us in."
