who am i? and you? YUKI GRIPPED THE PHONE a little tighter, nodding his head as the woman supplied her alias to him.
“I’m with a witch doctor,” Yuki advised the woman on the other end of the line, “In a park.”
“The Witch Doctor? Like, the pro hero?”
“Think so.”
“Put me on speakerphone.”
Yuki did as instructed, and held the phone flat in front of him.
“Witch Doctor-san, this is Kiyoko Tachibana, Yuki’s mother,” the woman explained, “Thank you for assisting my son. I apologize for the trouble he might have caused. He gets into such mischief.”
Yuki kept their head down, seeming contrite.
“I would retrieve him,” Kiyoko continued, “But I work at a nearby hospital, and still have a few hours to my shift. Would it be too much trouble to bring him here? Or, if possible, to his grandparent’s house? That’s where he’s supposed to be…”
If the hero offered an affirmative, Kiyoko would give the name and address of either location to the pro hero. Yuki, all the while, would keep his head down.
“Thank you for helping my troublesome son,” Kiyoko insisted, “Yuki—we’ll speak more once your father and I are home.”
“Yes ma’am,” the teen replied.
Kiyoko disconnected the phone, and the conversation was thusly ended. Yuki pocketed their phone again, rubbing the back of their neck.
“Sorry for causing so much trouble,” Yuki repeated, bowing forward. He’d been so lost in the confusion of not knowing who or where he was, that he hadn’t even considered the fact that he might have been causing trouble for the hero.

Nimue would just sit and wait, best not to mingle, mother knows best in this case and she wasn't going to ruin it by trying to give a medical "expert" opinion. Because she was probably not the expert, the mother was for sure. She tilted her head a little, speaking an unspoken question as Yuki put the phone in front of him, but that's when she heard a voice directed to her and her amber eyes quickly turned to the phone. Ah, she worked in the hospital, that was interesting, "Let me not bother you, Tachibana-san. I can take young Yuki here to the grandparent's place." She really respected the nursing, doctor or other supportive jobs that came with working at the hospital so she said it was no bother and that she would do it. It was maybe bothersome for others but Nimue as said to many of her students would always try to help everyone around, and that included this boy at this point.
When the mother hung up and the child put the phone back in his pocket, Nimue looked at him a little worried. Mischief or not he clearly did not realize at this point what had happened. She was sure the mother knew more about it than she did. "Don't worry about it, alright? I was around anyway. Come on, let's get to your grandparents." Normally, no matter the age of the child, she would extend her hand to invite to walk hand in hand but with the reaction to touching before, Nimue wasn't sure. So she refrained from it but when she got up herself she got a little closer, so they could at least walk side by side. She beckoned the police officer to come closer and straight up told him that she would bring Yuki home and that she would say the case was solved, no harm done and no wounds so it should be all fine. There seemed to be some other thoughts on the policeman his mind but after spluttering some words he finally gave in and the two could set off to the house of the grandparents. Whether they could walk or grab a bus depending on the route that Yuki wanted to take, Nimue was used to walking so she offered him the idea, if he wanted to stay in the open air a bit and not be in a closed-up space, she was all for it. "I leave the decision of how to go here, up to you." She showed him the address and told him how they would go, mostly because of his memory loss, she did not want to give him the idea that he now had to remember immediately.
