First day of classes. In truth, Tony did feel a twinge of nervousness. But more than that, he was excited. Excited to meet the next generation of heroes that he would be teaching. A year or so ago, he would never have even thought that he would have such an opportunity to become a teacher. He really should go thank Nimue, as she was the primary person that gave him the push to want to help the future heroes. I just need to be sure not to thank her by sending more kids to the infirmary than usual. Tony chuckled to himself. While he looked rather easygoing in nature (and often times, he really was), that would all change now that he had a class to teach. While he was certainly not as strict as Junko, if these students thought that this would be the class they would get to sleep in on and have an easy time breezing while not putting in much effort, then boy were they in for a surprise! Tony was seated on his chair behind the desk, reading some papers. Rather than having his hero suit, Tony wore his white coat and his glasses. Best to look the part of a teacher. He would not really need his hero outfit now, though he always wore it underneath his regular clothes in case of emergencies. But hopefully there would be no need to worry about that. It would be a nice and comfortable first day. Speaking of which, Tony kept an eye at the classroom entrance. It was still pretty early, so it was unlikely that the students would choose to arrive now, unless they were the very studious and responsible kind. Still, it was only the first day. So if anyone was late, Tony would let them off easy just for today. It was understandable to get lost or accidentally set the alarm for the wrong time. But of course, Tony's mercy had limits. Only today would he forgive the slackers for not arriving on time. But this was an exception, not something to get used to. Tony was determined to make sure his students learned that. But for now, he would sit down and read his romance novel, waiting for his class to arrive. I look forward to meeting the students I'll be helping throughout the year. I just hope there aren't any bad eggs already. But I guess only time will tell.WC 409

First day of classes. Bura was excited despite all of his hang-ups with his senpais from talking to them in the Chat app. Which at this point, he barely touched the past week, trying to repair his hype back from seeing all of the pointless and petty drama they throw at each other. But despite his issues with his senpais, he has no such problems with his classmates, so he was excited to meet them. He met a couple of them, Edward and Kenji in the chat. They seem nice. Bura was excited to make friends with them.
Bura has been up for a few hours at this point he only needs like three hours of sleep at most. So he spent most of his morning prepping himself up and getting ready for the first day of class, getting his uniform pressed, braiding some of his wool to make it more manageable, and out of the way of any potential training, that they could have that day. Bura made himself presentable and had enough time after that to make it to class early when he left his dorm room for his first class of the day.
Bura studied the school map a week before arriving he remembered where every major homeroom and classroom was located and it didn't take him long to find his classroom, and when he was at the door he took a deep breath and entered the room. And right there, in the teacher seat was the pro-hero Wildheart, Bura's paused for a moment, but he kept up his momentum and walked over to Wildheart-sensei and with a polite smile and bow, introduced himself to the summoner, "Hello, Sensei, I am Burabura Buruburu, it's a pleasure to meet you, I am excited to be learning under you." Bura introduced himself politely. After that, he walked to his seat to wait for his other classmates.
Thankfully, Bura read his papers before class and remembered which seat he was arranged in, which due to his massive size and wool, had to sit in the back corner by the window, which he didn't mind it was like this at his old school too. So Bura took his seat and sat down and waited for his other classmates to arrive one at a time. Or maybe in groups, he did arrive early after all.

Misa had been waiting for this day for a long time now. It felt like forever, even though she hadn't know she'd actually make it into U. A. High until rather recently. She'd always wanted to be a hero, though. That had never wavered since she was young, and the experience at the book store only doubled her resolve. So when the day finally came for the first class, she was here much earlier than she needed to be. So early, in fact, that the teacher hadn't even arrived yet. That was awkward. Should she sit here and wait for them? Ugh, but then she'd look like such a teachers pet. No, no, no. She'd wait somewhere else for the teacher to arrive! Luckily she found a bench just around the corner from the classroom that she could relax on. She sat, her backpack next to her as she waited. She played on her phone for a bit, then started doodling on some paper that she always had handy thanks to her quirk.
That's when she heard the door open and close, and she glanced around the corner to see that the light in the classroom was now on. Oh, the teacher had arrived! She stood, about to head right in but froze for a second. If she walked in like right after the teacher, that would look super... suspicious, wouldn't in? As if she'd been waiting for him? That would be awkward. What if nobody else showed up for hours, and the teacher thought she was some kind of... loser?
No, no, no. She should wait, right? To go in. So she did. Waiting just a few minutes before she started to feel a little antsy. She stepped to the window, peeking in once and then ducking back. He seemed relaxed and... well, imposing, but maybe Misako was projecting on that. She was easily intimidated, after all. She took a deep breath before realizing that she'd left her backpack on the bench. "Dang it..."
She mumbled low, standing again to get her backpack, only for her elbow to hit the door knob and make a rather loud noise. Now the teacher would definitely know she was standing there, she thought before scurrying away to the bench again. Her backpack was still there. Obviously. The halls were rather bare. She grabbed it, throwing it over her shoulder and turning back to the class. She walked a bit sheepishly, but this time didn't hesitate to open the door. "G-good morning, sensei. Sorry about that noise I, uh... forgot my bag. I'm excited to learn a lot from you, sensei!"
She looked over and spotted another student. Well, at least she wasn't a loser for showing up early! Only a loser for making a fuss and hitting the door and forgetting things. Very typical, really. She approached the other student, standing about 5 feet away or so and bowed her head. "Hello. It's nice to meet you. I'm Misako Suzuki, but you can call me Misa. It's a pleasure to meet you!"

Wildheart huh? With his phone in one hand and his rucksack in the other, he walked down the halls headed towards his homeroom. Once he heard his homeroom teacher was a pro hero he couldn't help but be a little curious and what better time than mere minutes to look up this info? As he sauntered down the hallway he couldn't have been more excited. In fact, unlike what he presumed his classmates would be feeling Rei wasn't nervous at all just excited to see what kind of people he'd be working with. Regardless of who they were, he'd become number 1, but some competition always made things more interesting. [break][break]
From a distance, he could spot a familiar face in Misako who's nerves were almost palpable. He wanted to catch up and reassure her yet his eyes were torn away as he spotted a much much larger...person? It was unclear as he had horns and what looked like wool. Either way, they were both headed in the same direction so Rei followed suit.[break][break]
Once he entered the classroom he spotted the two he had seen earlier but first, he needed to address the teacher as a sign of respect and also to let him know he was indeed attending. "Yo! I'm Rei Ledo but everyone calls me King. Nice to meet ya Sensei!" he extended his hand for a fistbump and whether he accepted it or not he would join the other two in the back corner.[break][break]
Smiling and giving Misa a slight pat on the back as to acknowledge their earlier meeting he spoke up "Nice to see ya made it Misa. This seat taken?" he dropped his bag on the seat diagonally in front of burabura and flipped the chair he was going to sit on around to address the much larger student "Yo! I'm Rei but people call me King. I just gotta say that's a pretty dope quirk big guy. I'm sure you'll give me a run for my money on my way to be number 1" it might have come off a bit cocky, but his intention was to spark some friendly competition and hopefully put the big guy at ease. After all both he and Misa were giving off the same vibe of nervousness.[break][break]

Finally, the day had come. Edward's long road of training was fully validated. It had been about nine months since his father had died and Eddy hadn't stopped preparing for UA since. He had just finished moving his things into his dorm room that morning. Finally, he wouldn't have to be a burden on his uncle anymore. The sense of autonomy was thrilling, even if he had been mostly independent for the past few months. He was ready for his first class, no matter what was thrown at him.
He did not know how to tie a tie. Edward realized this troubling development as he stared in the mirror, getting his uniform put together, the two ends of the uniform's tie in his hands. His father had worn ties often but never taught Edward how to wear one. The short lad did his best, but it just wasn't happening. No matter what he did, it didn't look right. Eddy was nearly in a genuine panic when he remembered that he didn't need to fuss over the tie all too much. He was still going to wear his long scarf over the uniform, after all. He wrapped the scarf around himself, letting it cover the mess of a tie he had left. With that, he was ready. It still felt weird not wearing his coat, but he couldn't fit it on under his uniform, so there was no helping it. Besides, the scarf and his glasses still did plenty to hide his face. He would be fine, right?
With a confident gait, Edward walked through the halls of UA. Though he stepped with self-assuredness, he avoided eye-contact with anyone he passed by. He didn't have time to stop for small-talk, and he certainly did not want to run into a few particular senpais. He didn't know what the deal was, but it just seemed that a lot of people in the second year classes were, to put it mildly, annoying. Heroism often attracted big personalities, he figured.
His thought about big personalities was substantiated as he entered his classroom. One of his classmates was already announcing that his nickname was 'King' and that he would be the number one Hero. Hopefully, he wouldn't continue being that obnoxious for the next three years.
After taking a quick look at his classmates, Edward gave their teacher a deep bow. "Hello Sensei. My name is Edward Eckles. I look forward to learning from you." He stood back upright before continuing. "Apologies if I am earlier than expected, though it seems I am not the only one eager for your class." With another small bow, Edward walked toward the back of the room where all of his classmates had seemed to gather around.
Edward regarded Burabura first. "Bura-Kun, yes?" A small bow. He was bowing a lot, now he was beginning to wonder if he was bowing too much. Maybe he actually was nervous. "I'm Edward, from the chat. It's nice to actually meet you." Edward turned and finally regarded the two other classmates with yet another small bow. "Edward Eckles. You can call me Eddy if you would like to. I hope we get along for the next few years." The bespectacled lad stood next to Burabura as he looked over his other classmates, too focused on introductions to remember that he should probably find his seat.

how do you do, fellow kids? KENJI CAME INTO THE CLASSROOM like a whirlwind, completely out breath—some might incorrectly assume that he had overslept, if his messy red hair and rumpled uniform were anything to go by—but this wasn’t farther from the truth. He’d been up two hours before class, had eaten breakfast, brushed his teeth, the whole nine yards. He’d made it all the way to the edge of the main building when some Disciplinary Committee Mouth-Breather had advised him that knit caps were outside of what was permissible to wear with uniforms.
Kenji had insisted that he always wore a hat (his junior high had been much more lax about their uniform policy), and that he felt naked without it. The mouth-breather could not be swayed—Kenji was to return his hat to his dorm room, and return when it was replaced. They would be there to check his bag, too.
So Kenji had to run all the way back to the dorms, and all the way back to the main building, stopping to have his bag inspected for his contraband hat, before running up to Class 1-A.
The sheer terror of this being the first day of high school—moreover his first day at U.A.—hit Kenji as he opened the door to the classroom. He twitched his head to shake his bangs from his eyes, but it was pretty ineffectual given how shaggy his hair was—he should really invest in hairclips if he wasn’t allowed to wear hats.
Through his bangs he, at first, thought his teacher was a woman because of their thick spill of hair. The teen froze—great, a female homeroom teacher—no, that was a dude—Kenji gaped like a fish, then turned his attention to the other students present… some absolutely giant horned dude who, somehow fit in a desk—some girl—some dude—and another dude, in a scarf, that for some unknowable reason made a knot tie itself at the pit of Kenji’s stomach.
The teen moved closer to the desk, bowing to the teacher.
“Kenji Murano,” he said quietly, “Nice to meet you.”
Perhaps his boisterousness would return when he got a better feel for the classroom. Speaking of… everyone was gathered around his desk, talking to the giant horned guy and each other.
Kenji twitched his head again—goddamn these bangs—and decided that he could try his luck with the small, gathering crowd of classmates. At the very least he could ask them for a hair-clip.
“U-uh… hey,” the teen greeted everyone in the circle, “Do any of you, uh, have a hair-clip… or… something…?”
He looked around the group. Maybe the chick, or the big horned-dude? They both had hair, right? Lots of it.
“I had a hat, but uh, some… uh… upperclassmen made me take it off… and I don’t… have any hair-clips.”
And he’d been so worried about being late on his first day of classes, but he wasn’t going to tell any of them that. Kenji ran a hand through his hair, pushing his bangs out of his eyes. Now that he could finally see, he took the opportunity to survey the group.
“I’m Kenji Murano,” he offered, as an afterthought. His gaze flitted over the people in the group before landing on the kid in the scarf, where it lingered for a moment. They were a few centimeters smaller, with glasses that rivaled a car’s headlights. Why the fuck did he seem so familiar…?

Well, despite her alarm clock, she wasn't going to be late. That was good.
Michi seethed only slightly as she thought about it. Of all days to misinput her alarm clock, she had to do it on the first day of school, U.A. or no. Luckily, she was always the kind of person to get up early, and she didn't even need her alarm... in fact, she was going to be early, which was good to make herself look good to the teacher, and maybe even begin her studies early. That, she was looking forward to as she walked through the halls, crushing an energy drink can as she finished downing it and throwing it into a trash can as she passed it by.
Apparently, one of those 'pro heroes' would be her teacher, someone by the name of 'Wildheart', a name she didn't recognize since she didn't really pay attention to this whole hero business thing... she actually wondered whether everyone in the class would be fanboys of the whole business thing... surely some people were here just to learn, right? Ignoring the 'future hero' thing, this place was supposed to have a good education, and that was worth something... not all of them wanted to be heroes, right?
She stopped just for a moment to check herself in a reflective window. her uniform was in order, but her hair, even in a ponytail, was wild and unruly, only slightly tamed by the attention of a brush, and that was half an hour's worth of work, but that was normal for her, since her hair had too much metal in it, just like everything else in her. She could only holy that no one would make any steel wool comments as she finally made it to the classroom.
Michi opened the door, and the first thing she noticed was a giant, wooly guy sitting in the middle of almost everyone else in the classroom. Seeing his hair definitely made her feel some sympathy, but it didn't show on her face even as she turned to the teacher. The hero named Wildheart was a lot... prettier than she had imagined; she had imagined some sort of half-feral man that growled his words out, but no... he was prim, proper, and well-groomed... even his hair, long and wavy, was fair more controlled than her's.
But, the initial surprise faded, and apathy returned. Prettier than she had expected, but did that really change anything? She approached him, then bowed her head, speaking softly and respectfully, if in monotone, "Yamazaki Michi, Sensei. A pleasure to meet you," she said, only half-lying - it was hard to feel pleasure to meet someone when you barely felt it at all - before walking aside. She stopped a moment to see the others... along with the big, wooly one, there was one wearing a scarf, a girl, and one apparently looking for a hair tie.
She wasn't particularly interested in socializing, so she looked around, easily spotting the seat that was supposed to be her's; it was the only one with thicker legs and made out of stronger material, something that made her purse her lips slightly in annoyancel. That sort of thing drew attention, but, to her chagrin, it was fully necessary, and she just slipped herself into her seat. She was slightly amazed that she didn't even hear a creak, let alone a groan; she had to give them credit, then did well to adapt to her quirk. Even though she didn't like how obvious it was, it was... actually sort of pleasant to sit in an actual chair for once....

Prism was eager to meet what she presumed a new set of friends, being isolated to her apartment since her arrival to the country and the small amount of time she had been at school she never really had the ability to interact with people much less people her age; it was a luxury she only recently seemed to be allowed to have. Back in her homeland, there were only four other kids around her age, anyway, so it was not like she was used to having a large group of kids to interact so it was something she was most defiantly curious about.
She arrived on time, on the dot, she was very punctual when she was not goofing off like she used to do at her hometown, that's just how she was raised. She waited a second, staring at the door, and opened it to see a lot of the students were already arrived; surprisingly. Her colorful scales that adorned most of her body turned a bright blue, though they wouldn't understand this a chameleon color expressed their mood. Blue was a sign that they were very happy, after all, she was meeting her new friends!
She cleared her throat, silently not to acquire attention, her eyes that were on the side of her face rather then forward seemed to be flying all over the place. They seemed, lazy, however her eyes could move individually. Every time it landed on someone's face, it seemed to pop a little out of her eye socket, not that much that it was concerning. It was just her analyzing the people's faces, after all her eyes were telescopic! "Aweh, my bruvs! Esk min to meet you all, my friends! Ja! Ek am Prism Laverna! Ek Lif nature!", she said with a deep voice that pronounce each word quite singularly a grin showing her white teeth. Blushing a bit, she shook her head and looked embarrassed forgetting to not speak English. "Sorry! I forget not speak English! I Prism Laverna, friends! I love to meet all!", she said with a grin still blushing from her mistake, less embarrassed about how broken her Japanese was.
Finishing her introduction, it was quick to notice where her interests lied. Her left eye was locking deeply into the Bull mutant and the other was locked onto her teacher, most particularly his hair that seemed to be rather extravagant. She seemed to walk with a bit of a bounce with a step, and heading to the teacher not bowing due to being new to the Japanese culture. "Hi, your hair very bright. Very pretty. Fundi", she said with a grin towards the teacher and was thinking a bit knowing they said they were a pro-hero but she couldn't quite remember whom. She reached out her hands upwards, being quite small and patted his hair and seemed to bounced over towards BuraBura. She said hello first to the teacher out of respect, however it was undeniable that from how intense her gaze was she was intensively memorized by the Bull. "You like me, friend! First like me", she said with a grin and attempted to hug Bura; her overly friendly self and the culture she was raised in did not make this seem inappropriate though it might have been in a Japanese standpoint.
Though, she was naive, she was not completely oblivious to the situation and quickly went to take a seat; she did not want to interrupt the class too much; she just wanted to say Hi to those that interested her the most. Though, thankfully, she was quick to realize that her dorm mate and first friend she met at U.A was also apart of 1-a! Both of her eyes locked onto Misa and she bounced her way over and took the closest seat she could, after attempting to give Misa a hug. "Hello, friend! I happy see you!", she said as she took her seat.

One by one, the students were all coming in, some clearly more confident than others, though it was alright. All of them however, greeted Tony, to which he would smile and greet them back. "Hello! Nice to meet you too!" These were more casual greetings, however. The formal introduction would begin once everyone (or at least all of the not tardy students) were here. One of the students seemed very enthusiastic and even went so far as to admire and touch his hair. While Tony was always fine with the admiration part, he was always hesitant when it came to people actually touching his hair. Only the very few hair stylists he absolutely trusted had that honor. But it was no big deal. At least she didn't pull or yank on it and was already moving on, so Tony let it slide this time.
Burabura, Misako, Rei, Edward, Kenji, Michi, and Prism. I look forward to teaching you all and seeing just how much you'll all learn throughout the year.
Tony gave the students a moment to chat among themselves, as it seemed that quite a few of them were already familiar with their peers. But once the bell rang, it was time to begin. He stood up and addressed the class. "¡Bienvenidos! Welcome, students of class 1-A! It's an honor and a pleasure to be the one to teach you and assist you all on the road to becoming a professional hero. My name is Antonio Tonomura, hero name: Wildheart. Though while we're in class, Tonomura-sensei will suffice."
Tony then continued. "The road to heroism is not an easy one. This I cannot stress enough to you. Everyone will be watching, keeping an eye on you and waiting for any moment of weakness. Villains will be constantly threatening the people whose safety and lives are in your hands. The stress of the job will be enough to utterly crush most people. This is why you must become strong, not just in body but in mind as well. Is it your duty to not only be able to shoulder that burden, but to exceed all expectations thrust upon you. But I am here to assist with that, guide you in the right direction, show you the way to your goal. But it is up to each and every one of you to get there, to build the road to your future, to overcome any and all obstacles thrown your way."
Tony then smiled. "Of course, heroism is rarely a walk of solitude. You will be expected to be able to work with others and team up with other heroes. And on that note, I do believe it would be best to get to know each other a little better.
"So for your first task, I want each of you to come up and introduce yourselves to your classmates. I know some of you are already familiar with each other, but it doesn't hurt to familiarize yourselves again, especially to those who don't already know who you are. Your name, your hero alias, and tell us a bit about yourselves. Your quirks, if you're comfortable with doing so. And more importantly, your reason for coming to this school. Why have you decided to become a hero? What do you hope to be able to accomplish? You can be as brief or as in depth with your answer as you wish, just as long as we all can get the general idea."
Tony then sat back down, letting the students come up one by one to formally introduce themselves. He looked forward to hearing just what answers each student would give.

Cause darling I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream "Hmmm... yep... I wonder where I am..." The pale skinned boy pondered out loud as he stood on the side walk looking out into the large city. It was a good idea in Remy's mind. He had woken up early and had some time to kill, so he thought 'why not go look around the block and see what the city is like?!' Well, that was the plan, but then Remy saw a cute little kitty! And Remy wanted to play with the kitty so he followed it. Remy really wasn't sure how long he was following the Kitten or how far. So here he stood now, as the streets got busier and class was getting ready to start Remy realized he had no idea where he was or how to get back. Remy looked around and climbed on top of a post box and sat down cross legged "What to do what to do?..." He pondered our loud, his hand idly reaching up and gripping the stitches in the right side of his lip and began tugging on it, pulling his lip away from his jaw revealing a quarter of his teeth lined up behind them. This was one of Remy's ways of thinking. That's when a cab pulled up and a woman wearing a business suit stepped out. Remy's wide eyes lit up and he jumped up to his feet. "Oh! Lucky me!" He shouted as he held his arms out in the air and twirled in a complete circle on the top of the post box before hopping off the steel box and plopping into the back of the cab. "Ello there Mister! U.A. PLEASE!" He said cheerily and began humming to himself and patting on his thighs happily. ____ Once Remy arrived at U.A. He opened the door and began to hop out "Hey kid! You gotta pay!" Remy's head tilted to the side curiously as he stared at the man. He had only taken a cab a few times, but every time he did up till now Marlene his nanny had paid for him. He never really paid attention to her paying or anything like that. He was too distracted by this whole new world in front of him. "Oh? Okay!" Remy was a somewhat inexperienced child, but he wasn't naive, he was pretty smart. He knew most things cost money and saw in the front of the cab was a monitor to show how far they went and how much he owed. He reached into his pocket and pulled out some money and a bit extra before handing it to the man. "Thanks for the save mister! It's my first day of school!" He shouted excitedly before spinning on his feet and walking towards the school building without a care in the world. Remy's steps were very animated, taking long strides with his legs straight out and his arms swinging wildly by his side like a child marching. He was humming a happy tune as he entered the building and heard the bell ring. He was happy the horn lady had showed him around the school and told him about the place, luckily he knew where his class was. He knew what the bell meant, he remembered hearing the bell at the base he lived on for the other kids who went to school. But he never got to experience that part of school himself, so he wasn't very worried about being late. So Remy just marched happily along through the halls until he reached the classroom. As Soon as Remy reached the class room the door shot open violently, banging against the wall or door stop on the other side. Remy stood at the entrance with his arms outstretched having thrown the door open excitedly, not really thinking about the fact that class had already started and they might already be talking, that or not really caring, which was the case was unclear. Remy stood in the door way with the school uniform on, which the shirt was half tucked in and half untucked from his running around this morning adventure. But on school shirt was a pair of bright teal suspenders. "Bonjour! I'm Remy Blanche and I'll be your classmate! My momma sent me here all the way from France so I'm still learning but I look forward to making fri-" His words cut short as he noticed the large.... fluffy boy standing at the front of the room. Rem'y already wide, dool like crimson eyes grew wider, he let out a gasp FLUFFYYY!" Remy shouted and with great speed ran towards the stranger and attempted to wrap his hands around the male and bury his face into the soft wool. Remy was a pretty fast individual, so either the boy stopped him or let him was a different story. If he was stopped he would pout and if he wasn't stopped he would snuggle into the fur for a moment before laughing and stepping away. Remy smiled and cocked his head to the side looking at the class. "I hope we all become great friends! I have the quirk of manipulating threads!" Remy shouted excited as he switched subjects and holding his arms back his jacket slid off on it's own and stood next to him as if there was an invisible person wearing his jacket. The odd looking boy and the jacket boy span in a circle at the same time before taking a bow and giggling lightly. He then looked at the chair the chart he was given said he'd be sitting in. So he skipped towards the seat and plopped down, as the jacket pulled onto his body without much effort on the boys part. As He sat down next to the window and a brown haired girl. He giggled lightly to himself and began bouncing very lightly in his seat as he looked up at the front of the class to figure out what was going on. @1-A , @tony ● 1,018 ● muse ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS

Post by Burabura Buruburu on Apr 20, 2020 21:20:32 GMT -4
Bura watched as he quickly got swarmed by students by all sides. It started innocently enough with that skittish girl Misako Suzuki. Or rather just Misa bowed down at him some five feet away, and Bura gave her a friendly smile and waved at her since bowing in his chair would be awkward, and greeted her with a, "nice to meet you Misa-chan," a polite greeting, but Bura has always been rather casual with classmates.
The next student to come in had dark skin and blue eyes, the confident student called himself King, but as he confirmed to him when he turned around in his seat that his name is Rei Ledo, and he complimented his quirk and made a declaration of becoming number one. Bura let out an amused huff from his nose as he leans in and said, "Greetings, King, I'm sure I give you quite the run, perhaps to second place instead, behind me." Bura said in a friendly yet competitive voice. His nerves were easing up with the declaration. Bura always wanted a rival.
Next was a short boy, who Bura recognized right away, with his scarf and small size, and the small student made his way over to him and regarded him by name, Bura excitedly said, "Edward-kun! I'm glad to see you here! And likewise!" Bura said with a broad smile on his face. Bura let out a low chuckle as he patted Edward's back and said, "You should probably find a seat bud, before class starts!" Bura said in a light-hearted tone.
Next up was a student with red hair who's bangs were in his face, he introduced himself as Kenji Murano, he promptly made his way to his corner of the class-jeez he was quite popular with his classmates. The small-not as small as Edward- boy asked for a hairclip or anything to manage his wild bangs. Bura smiled at Kenji and said, "Don't worry Kenji-Kun, I have a bunch of hair clips and ties to managed this crazy wool for hair, here take as many as you want I have more in my dorms," as he pulled out some hair clips and ties into his massive hand as he handed it to Kenji.
Once Kenji took the hair clips, Bura almost didn't notice the other girl walk in until she took a seat, in the large seat, that he thought was his when he first walked in but realized it wasn't his when he noticed it was by upfront. Bura waved at her, but he didn't call out to her, she seemed a bit shy, or quite, introverted? One of those words anyways.
Then the introductions got weird with these next two. The next girl was interesting, and she showed interest in him once she introduced herself in English and then in broken Japanese, which Bura thought was adorable, she made her way to Wildheart and patted his hair which Bura knew was coming next with that little action. And then she started to bounce towards him, which he was prepared for the girl to either jump in his hair or-oh, she was interested in likeness? Was it their quirks she meant? Now that he thinks about, they are the only obvious mutants in the class, so maybe she clung to the-oh she's hugging him. Bura let out a good-natured chuckle as he let her hug him, "We are alike, huh, excited to meet you too, Prism-Chan." Bura said as she let go to sit in front of Misa-Chan, who she also tried to hug, this class will be interesting, for sure.
Wildheart, or rather Antonio Tonomura, did his introduction and speech what he expected of the class, all of it was getting him pumped for this whole heroic life that Bura vowed he would do. So when Sensei asked for them to come up and introduced themselves, Bura got up first, without a moment's hesitation and he lumbered his way to the front, and as he cleared his throat to start his speech, the door to the class slammed open, and a student with white hair came in and started his speech which Bura was staring at him as he blinks once, twice-FLUFFY- Bura didn't get the chance to blink a third time as the boy with amazing speed buried his face in his thick wool and laughed to himself before stepping back from him and looking at the class with a huge grin on his face, Bura wasn't sure what to say until Remy showed off his quirk, And Bura excitedly beams at Remy and says, "Whoa, that's so cool, Remy-Kun!" Bura said as if he forgot about his introduction was interrupted. Bura's interest in quirks was clear with that reaction.
As Remy skipped to his seat, Bura regained his composure and let out a cough and beamed another smile at his class, "As most of you know, my name is Burabura Buruburu---yeah quite a mouthful, but yeah my hero alias will be Protectbull, and I'm a third-generation Quirker, I got my quirk from my parents, which while it's registered as Bull its a mix of a bull and sheep, so yeah, I'm excited to be here with all of you, and I'm excited to tell you all my reason for being here," Bura spoke excitedly as he was practically bouncing on his feet now, "I came to U.A. to learn to become a Pro-hero, to save people, to be the best person I can be, with the best around." Bura said excitedly as he smiles at his classmates. With that that Bura walked back to his seat with pumped-up energy in his veins now, Bura was grinning as he sat back down.

Post by Misako Suzuki on Apr 21, 2020 10:05:33 GMT -4
Kids were pouring in right and left, it seemed, and Misa's demeanor would change with every new edition. Where she had walked up to Bura and greeted him with a smile and an outgoing attitude, her greetings would slowly change into quite hellos, slight bows, and finally settling on a meek wave. She had no desire to be in the spotlight, which seemed to naturally fall towards Bura anyway for obvious reasons. Heck, even when Prism, who she had already met, came in it seemed like the chameleons first target was the ball of fluff that was Bura. Misa let out a laugh, moving back towards an empty seat.
Rei was next, and he was quick to make himself feel at home. Yeah, he wasn't nervous at all and Misa found herself smiling softly at the boy. His confidence was like a shining light that made her feel better to be here with the strangers everywhere. After greeting the teacher, he looked to her next. She jumped a bit, not ready to be talked to yet but quickly recovered. "Y-yeah! I made it. Glad you found it too. The tour really paid off, didn't it? The seat? Uhm, no, I don't think it is taken! It should be yours if you want it!"
Luckily, before she could stutter and make things even more awkward, Prism had moved on from Bura to hug Misa next. The paper quirker let out a squeak of surprise as she was pulled into a tight hug. Wow, Prism seemed to hug stronger every time they met! She hugged the foreigner back, a smile on her blushing face as she did. They were set to be dorm mates now, which was nice. Maybe Prism could teach her some English, since it was the most popular language. It'd be helpful if she was ever caught up in an incident with tourists getting in trouble that might need to understand her commands. "Hello, Prism-san! It's good to see you too. I hope you found the room alright. I was a little worried, heh. The signs are all in Japanese..."
After Prism took her seat, Misa did the same. The next student was like a tornado running into the room. His hair messy, and a somewhat meekish demeanor that Misa felt didn't reflect the boys true personality. No reason why, just a hunch she had. She was usually quite good at reading people. He explained his situation, and Misa felt a tad bit of pity for him. He must have had to run all the way back to put his hat back, she had guessed. Well, it was school policy. She didn't like it much either, in fairness. She loved dressing up and had plenty of cool outfits she would have liked to show off to the class for the first day... but the stupid uniform requirement stopped her! She luckily didn't try to violate it, though. Not like the redhead. He asked for a hair clip, and Misa quietly reached into her bag to get one for the boy. By the time she found one though, Bura had beaten her to the punch. Awkwardly she put it back and looked forward, hoping class would be starting soon.
There was still one more student in the class that seemed to be even quieter than Misa was. A silver haired girl, with an interesting looking desk. She seemed rather apathetic, and maybe a little cold. Misa might have been projecting that last part. She introduced herself only to the sensei, which wasn't exactly strange. They were probably going to take turns introducing themselves to everyone as a group, anyway. Most classes started like that. Why would hero school be any different?
As if on queue, the bell rang loudly and demanded their attention to the front. For a moment, the air went from being vibrant with noise to the dead of silence. The teacher broke it by starting his introduction speech. To Misa, he was nice yet commanding. He was the king of the air as he spoke, and she gave him her full attention. With her fears confirmed about the class being rough and grueling, Misa was not intimidated. No, instead she felt rather... excited. Excited to try her best, and to see how far down this path she could go!
Introductions were up first, but before anyone could start the door slammed open and loudly hit the wall. Misa jumped at the sound, and blushed heavy as she realized that she did. The kid that came through, the first to introduce himself despite being the last to show up, seemed eccentric to say the least. He showed off his quirk, then ran to hug Bura. It seemed that would be a recurring thing for the class. Not that Misa could blame anyone. She herself was tempted. The wool looked incredibly soft and nice to touch. One day, she would have to see it it held up to appearances.
After Bura's introduction, Misa cleared her throat. She wanted to get this over with, as she knew that with everyone's eyes on her she was going to feel more and more nervous. She stood, her short stature just enough to get some attention. "H-hello, friends! My name is Misako Suzuki, but you can all call me Misa. My hero name will be Origami, because of my quirk." She held her hand out and created a paper construct shaped like a bird, the paper peeling off her skin and moving on it's own. "I want to be a hero because... I want to help people, and make sure that anyone who needs saving has a hero there to help. Please, take care of me!"
She bowed low to end off her introduction, then sank back into her chair and looked at her desk. She could feel the eyes still on her, and was hoping that whoever was up next would quickly take the attention off of her. She risked a few glances still, looking around the class to see if she could get a read on anyone around here. She wanted to know their reactions to her introduction.

It looked like their class was going to fill with colorful characters. Rei was honestly surprised that as many people that did show up early enough to beat the bell. Heck, he wasn't even planning on being as early as he was, he just figured with the general unfamiliarity with the campus that he might have gotten lost had he waited. He was very interested in the rest of the class, so he took the time to make some mental notes of anyone who caught his eye which ultimately ended up being...everyone. From the chameleon girl to his next-door neighbor Kenji everyone looked like good competition and he felt even more driven to be number 1. What was more curious to him was the one silver-haired girl who didn't even attempt to greet anyone but the teacher since even the desk she was sitting on looked odd as it was made of a different material than the rest of them. Shaking this off before he got too distracted he refocused his attention on the big group around Burabura.[break][break]
He wanted to help Kenji and just like Misako he was beaten to the punch by Burabura who offered a hair clip. It wasn't like Rei even had one to spare, but he felt for Kenji who clearly didn't feel comfortable with his hair the way it was. It made him touch his own hair which while neat felt off without being under his signature orange hat. The other student who caught his attention, Prism, was much more forward. Rei hadn't met any full body mutations as drastic as Burabura or Prism so with two in the same space it was exciting. Apparently Prism felt the same way since she immediately gravitated to the bull boy and gave him a big hug all the while speaking in broken English.[break][break]
Burabura was the only person to respond to Rei's lighthearted comments with a declaration that he was also aspiring to be the best and even more than that made a comment that Rei might have to settle for being second. With a burst of laughter, he said "You're an interesting guy! I'm sure you'll make a pretty impressive number 2 yourself...or I guess number three since Misako over here will probably be taking that spot under me" he winked in her direction acknowledging the tour and dinner they had before and how much she had impressed him in the little time they spent together.[break][break]
Having almost everyone gathered in the class their teacher spoke up and clarified that he should be called Tonomura-sensei to which Rei was glad that he did as he most likely would have just called him Teach or Wildheart if that hadn't been stated. Rei was particularly interested in the idea that there was more to heroics than what he thought, and he perked up upon hearing that they would need to be able to exceed their expectations. He followed up by mentioning that everyone should introduce themselves and perhaps demonstrate their quirks which made sense given that they weren't just competing against each other but also working together as a class to get stronger. [break][break]
He guessed that the order they entered would be the way they would introduce themselves and he was particularly interested in this new rival of his to get up and explain who he was and why he was there. This was cut abruptly short by another high energy individual who arrived just seconds after the bell and quickly explained who he was and why he was there before also running to give Bura a hug. He was entertaining to the say the least and Rei made another mental note of his quirk being able to manipulate threads before he gave the floor to Burabura who explained that his hero name was Protectbull which was...wait hero name? Rei was confused for a moment as he didn't realize that he was supposed to have thought of a hero code name. It made sense, but this was the first day of class after all. As a result of this distraction, he only caught the tail end of his quirk which was something of a mix between a bull and sheep which...made sense.[break][break]
Misa was up next, and she went with the hero name Origami which put a smile on Rei's face. Extremely straightforward? Yes, but at least she was being honest with herself. Even if she was a bit nervous it looked as if she was really coming into her own as a person. As she finished and went to sit down Rei flashed her a thumbs up before he got up for his turn. "Yo! I'm Rei, but everyone calls me King and I uh...guess that's my hero name? I didn't really think I’d need one just yet." he scanned the room to see exactly what the best way to go about demonstrating his quirk would be "I'd rather show you guys what I can do with my quirk so uh...can I borrow this?" he had approached Michi and pointed to her desk which luckily for him she hadn't put anything on it yet. Before she could even respond he used his quirk to make it as light as a baseball and picked it up with one arm taking the opportunity to toss it lightly into the air "I can do stuff like this.." he placed it back in front of Michi and gave her a smile before taking a step back, putting his hands in his pockets and jumping while making his body light enough to make himself float in mid-air "..and stuff like this!" he would gently increase his weight slowly to make himself eventually touch down before snapping his fingers which reverted Michi's desk and himself back to their normal weight. "Oh! And I want to be the best like...top of the charts best Pro Hero so I guess you could say I'm gonna be beating villains, saving people, and become the most popular out of anyone." it was probably the cockiest statement some of his classmates had ever heard, but anyone who could look behind it would know that Rei was being 1000% genuine and was really planning to accomplish all of this. Even if anyone was rolling their eyes at him he would simply prove them wrong

From the moment Kenji joined the growing group of students toward the back of the class, Edward focused on him. He knew this guy from somewhere, with the red hair and everything. Though Eddy looked significantly different from the first time they had met, having lost weight and lacking his coat, the most major difference for Kenji was the absence of his headwear. Just as Eddy raised a finger to the redhead, Burabura gave him a pat on the back and reminded him should find his seat. "Right, thank you, friend." On his way to find his desk, however, Eddy took a second to place a hand on Kenji's shoulder just as he was getting his hair in a clip. "We talk after class." Eddy had recognized Kenji almost immediately and wasn't aware that Kenji hadn't yet recognized him.
Eddy sat front and center, literally, the front seat of the center column, making him the closest-seated to the teacher himself. Only one other student seemed to have taken a front-row seat at that point, a silver-haired girl in an apparently reinforced seat. Edward could guess a few Quirks that would require that, but this was most certainly not his focus. No, his mind was still on why the hell that kid from the arcade was there. Last time Eddy had met Kenji, he had to stop him from stealing quarters out of an arcade cabinet. Why would someone like that be in this school for Heroes? Did he have some sort of grand scheme?
Once the bell rang, Edward did his best to banish Kenji's presence from his mind. He wasn't going to let some petty thief get in the way of his Hero education. Tonomura-Sensei seemed quite capable, even if Eddy was only passingly familiar with Wildheart as a Hero, he knew of a few of his exploits. From the sounds of it, this would be a fairly standard first class, consisting primarily of introducing one's self to their classmates and by extension the teacher.
Edward knew that he could come off as a little overbearing, so he decided that it would be best to let a few of his classmates go first. It seemed that Burabura would be first, or he would have been, if the class wasn't suddenly invaded by another new student who introduced himself as Remy, embraced Bura's fluffy hair, then put on a show with his Quirk. That was unexpected, but once he was done, Burabura was able to get on with his introduction, then a girl named Misako who had paper-based powers. They both had fairly standard reasons for being Heroes, but they were both clearly genuine even if they didn't go into any specific reasons for being compelled to help those in need. The next student, the only relatively tall boy in class, aside from Bura, came up and expressed his desire to become the number one Hero. A lofty goal, and cocky as hell, only emphasized by his choice of Hero alias.
Edward stood almost as soon as Rei finished his introduction. "My name is Edward Eckles." He announced himself in a loud, confident tone, likely more than anyone was expecting from the short boy with a covered face. He placed his hands behind his back as he continued. "I am from America, where there are no organized Heroics, only non-professional Vigilantes. I have witnessed first-hand what happens when there are no standards in crime-fighting, so I have taken it upon myself to embody and enforce these standards. That is why I am here."
He was tempted to sit back down right then, but Eddy knew that he hadn't yet supplied them with each piece of information that Tonomura-Sensei wanted in their introductions. "Apologies for giving my introduction somewhat out of order. As embarrassing it is after Rei-san's alias, my own is King Yeti. My Quirk, if I may demonstrate-" He presents one of his arms while rolling up the sleeve of his uniform. He took a deep breath, then, with nothing more than a flex, his arm went from rather lean to thick, muscular, and very disproportionately large for the rest of his body. On top of that, the skin of his arm had turned a dark blue, though this change was only visible upon his palm and his fingers, as the rest of his arm had suddenly grown a thick coat of white fur. "-allows me to transform into a large creature similar to my alias' namesake. This is, of course, only a partial form of my transformation, but it should be enough to give you the idea." As quick as it had changed, his arm morphed back and he rolled his sleeve back down.
Edward gave his classmates a deep bow before capping off his introduction. "I hope you all choose to follow the Heroic standards I do. It would be nice to get along with all of you." With that, Edward took the few steps it required to return to his desk and sat down, awaiting whoever would choose to follow up after his presentation.

how do you do, fellow kids? THE SOMETTIMES-WASPISH REDHEAD MUSTERED AN outright grin as the absolutely gargantuan horned-kid offered him a fine collection of a hairclips—bobby pins and clips of all sorts—welcoming the smaller teen to use as much as he needed.
“Thanks man,” Kenji said brightly, selecting one metal clip before returning the rest. He went to the window, away from the group, to use the reflection to fix his hair. He didn’t want to look like a dweeb with how he pinned his hair, after all—he had to pin it properly. Though he had removed himself from the group, it was difficult to miss the apparently-mentally-challenged girl’s salutations to the group.
Kenji turned, marginally, to regard the purple-haired weirdo. Ho-kay. Weird English kid with terri-bad Japanese. At least they’d have some entertainment. The redhead returned to fixing his hair.
It was about the time that Kenji finished gathering his bangs, and secured them in the clip atop his head to the rest of his hair, that he felt a presence, for lack of a better word, over his shoulder.
An unfamiliar—and frankly uninvited—hand found Kenji’s shoulder, and instinctively the teen dropped his shoulder, going tense and whirling to face the offender, his eyes almost serpentine.
>> “We talk after class.”
“Don’t fucking touch me,” Kenji hissed back.
It was the midget with the nerd-glasses.
Hey, doesn’t this seem familiar?
As Kenji stood with his back to the window, glowering at the back of the other boy’s head, it finally dawned-on him.
I know him.
Nerd-glasses. Dark skin. Short as Kenji (well, shorter now) and twice as round.
It’s that asshole from the arcade.
Ironic how all it took was another uninvited touch to jog his memory.
Kenji waited until the other boy was seated before venturing to his own desk. His face was hot. His hands were shaking. And he couldn’t stop glancing at the back of Nerd-Glasses’s head (yes, that was his name, now). Kenji could hear his heart beating in his ears.
Mosa said no fights. Mosa said no fights. Mosa said no fights.
Why else did someone “meet after class” except to fight? Day one of classes, and someone already wanted to fight. The teen dropped his gaze towards his desk, clenching his fists.
Mosa said no fights.
Kenji was so tunnel-visioned on the apparent conflict at-hand, he missed the teacher’s warm greeting altogether, as well as the boisterous interjection of yet another mentally-impaired eccentric foreigner. He clenched his fists so tightly that his nails made little crescents in his palms.
Mosa said no fights.
Maybe I could switch classes?
The mountainous teen behind Kenji introduced himself as Burabura Buruburu. Then Misako Suzuki—then Rei Ledo.
Rei’s boisterous introduction finally jarred Kenji from his thoughts, earning a somewhat confused glance from the red-haired teen. Oh, were they introducing themselves. Kenji rubbed his nose with the back of his sleeve. His face was still hot.
The redhead decided that Rei seemed alright. Particularly given his gutsy introduction.
Kenji had tuned-in just in-time for the new bane of his existence to speak, and he leaned over in his seat to pull a fresh, unused comp book from his backpack, trying to make a show of not listening to Nerd Glasses.
It didn’t work.
His name was Edward Eckles, from America, and he was just as much of a stick-up-the-ass as Kenji had assumed from the first time he’d met him. He might have warranted a slight side-eye from the teen as he demonstrated his quirk, and then it was back to looking dispassionately—and pointedly—at the comp book. Kenji wrote his name on the cover in ballpoint pen, then went over it a few times to give it a jagged, badass look.
Sure, Edward said he wanted to get along with everyone and be a “true hero”, but… true heroes didn’t pick fights on the first day of class, now did they? This dude was full of shit…
A pregnant silence followed.
Kenji lifted his gaze from his masterpiece towards the patiently-awaiting face of his teacher, which was sweeping the classroom.
Fuck, what was the teacher’s name again?
Did everyone already introduce themselves?
Kenji rose awkwardly from his seat, his chair squawking against the tile. His face was still red, though now from apparent embarrassment. His comp book was in his hand.
“Uh…” Kenji glanced around the room. A number of eyes were on him. He cleared his throat. Something to get their attention—something cool. An idea struck him, and it was like a switch had flipped.
The redhead broke into a run towards the front of the room, and when he was within a meter of the front wall, he leapt, free hand and foot first.
Sticky sleeves formed over his hand and foot, and as he made contact, he held himself tight. The teen was apparently suspended by nothing at all. Crouched against the wall, he turned to face his peers. Belatedly, he also stuck his comp book to the wall, to show that he wasn't just another wallcrawler.
“Kenji Murano,” he said simply, “Hero name, Slapdash-” Charles had explained the irony of the name to him, but for posterity’s sake, the teen kept it, “--I manipulate friction.”
Kenji leapt from the wall, disengaging the sticky discs. His cheeky grin faded into something more of a smirk. His eyes went calculating.
“And I’m here… ‘cuz, uh…” he trailed. How seriously did he want to take this? How much did he want to say. His eyes flitted towards Edward, unable to avoid him from this angle. God, that dude made it hard to think, “… uh…”
His gaze cut towards the rest of the class.
“Most people rely on their parents for shi—stuff—when they’re younger. But if your parents are villains—like, legit villains—you turn to heroes instead,” Kenji staggered through a verbal explanation. It didn’t take any stretch of the imagination to figure-out who really had villains for parents, even if Kenji hadn’t overtly said it, “Heroes are like… always there when people need them the most, and strong, and cool, and kind… and I want to be like that too.”
Okay, so he kinda borrowed the script from when Mosa had asked him that same question. And it wasn’t the most articulate answer. But for someone as thoughtless as Kenji, it was about the most thoughtful answer you could wrench from him.
“So yeah.”
The teen walked casually back to his seat, rather than using slippery discs to slide, because he worried the nerves would make him fall on his ass.
He'd left his comp book stuck to the wall, in his absentmindedness.
