The Auction had been going as planned. In all of her twisted glory, Mercury had unveiled the latest in Quirk technology- an enhanced version of the drug that was discovered during Semper Fi. The poor test subject had lived just long enough through the demonstration to see the effects of it, but died just as the party was crashed. If only he had lived to see the flood of law enforcement swarm the scene, sending panic rippling through the visitors and auctioneers as soon as the blaring sirens caught their ears. 'Operation Sea Priest' was in full swing, and it didn't seem like the Heroes, Vigilantes, and SAT planned on stopping until all of the scum was cleaned out of Shinagawa.
Meanwhile, in the main warehouse on the port, the Manager of IOL Tokyo Logistics was busy rushing up the metal stairs to the upstairs office above the holding facility. Beads of sweat were dripping and running down the sides of Shouji Amane's face as the sound of police sirens rang in the distance towards the shipyard. Though, being such an important figure, there was no reason for the man to be running from such a thing. Police sirens meant the elimination of fear, not the creation of it. Yet, with what the corrupt man was hiding, he had every right to be headed to his office on the upper floor.
There were tall stacks of crates on pallets that cluttered the ground floor of the warehouse, sat next to metal shelving that stretched up to the ceiling that were just as equally filled with product. The workers were blissfully unaware of the illegal goods that they were wheeling around all week on pallet jacks, and they turned to look around at each other as the sounds of the auction crackdown drew closer. Still, they weren't being paid to stand around and glance around in a confused daze, so the product was still moved off of the shelves and onto the floor for transport. The transport, however, would be to the Auction just over yonder that was being brought to an end.
Acid Rush was already on the scene, stalking through the shadows behind the Heroes and SAT teams. The rumors surrounding the Manager had piqued his interest, and he knew that letting a man like that have free reign over military tech like that could lead to disaster. If such powerful weapons were sold into the wrong hands... it could spell trouble for Tokyo or even the country as a whole. So, taking his time to make sure he wasn't followed or spotted, the young Vigilante snuck in through the port side of the warehouse to watch the workers with cautious eyes. He couldn't tell from the crates as to what they had their hands on, but he trusted his sources implicitly. If the rumors were true, then others were sure to flock to the product just as fast as he had.
For now, though, he would watch.
And as Acid Rush did, Shouji Amane readied a heavy machine gun he'd taken on his desk with shaky hands. The window that overlooked the warehouse that he'd used previously to watch if his employees were working had a more sinister purpose this time. The blinds were still drawn closed, however, as he waited with a quickened heartbeat and hasty breaths to hear a disturbance down below.
He wouldn't be losing this product. Not if gunfire had anything to say about it.

Luzia had winced when the lady... Mursery, she thought, stabbed the guy in the fucking brain with a needle. She had seen people shove needles into their tear ducts for a really good high, but never in their goddamn brain, and even then, Luzia was still kinda creeped out, so this injection made her grimace. The screams of agony didn't do anything for her, good or bad - she didn't know this guy, why should she care? - it was just the familiar sight of a needle being shoved somewhere very... precious that bothered. Hell, she had even seen the state he was in before he was stabbed plenty of times before... it was kind of a familiar sight, in all honesty, and she ignored the little voice inside of her wondering if that will be her one day.
The name of Semper Fi made her shiver and grimace even more, gritting her teeth in hate. She remembered that time, though only vaguely thanks to quite a few 'parties' afterwards. Luzia was already writing off this drug; she didn't want to feel that feeling again, that clawing in her fucking skull... she killed that bitch, why was this shit even back?! She killed that BITCH!!
She was spiraling, but she was pulled out with a gasp. The thing that the lady injected into this guy's skull... it made him pretty, it made him beautiful. Turned him from red to blue to purple, then even more colorrs, then to all the colors shifting and crawling over his skin, mixing and unmixing with blobs of other colors until he looked like a kalidoscope! It-!
Splurt.
Luzia flinched away when the man suddenly exploded, turning her head away slightly. He oozed something very pretty, but she was pretty sure that it wasn't to smell as nice as it looked, and was grateful that she was so far away from it. She went back to her angry thoughts, wondering how this happened when she - at least she thought - killed the source. Or what she would think was the source of something like this; she had no fucking clue what happened in Semper Fi, and she didn't want to know.
Clunk.
Luzia suddenly went wide-eyed, whirling when lights and sirens were suddenly surrounding them. For a split second, just one single moment that was gone just as soon as it arrived, Luzia wondered what was happening. So much noise, so many lights all of a sudden... but she knew. She had always known throughout this whole thing; there was no way in hell something like this didn't grab the police's attention, she said that, but Kyoko wanted to come anyway!
The Painter blinked, her thought on her employer somehow timed perfectly to get a message from her. She grit her teeth, sending her own message to her really, really stupid employer, then grabbed the arm of the suited girl next to her. "Come on! Ky-Oracle wants us to get out!" She winced, almost saying Kyoko's name, but she remembered before she could say the whole thing, berating herself for not referring to anyone by their other names enough to get used to it.
She ran, almost dragging Ndeye - Calamari? No, it was almost like calamari... but it was like a gun, to... Calimara? Conifer? CALIBAR! Finally remembering her name, Luzia yelled, "Come on, Calibar! Keep moving!" Luzia was usually content to let someone else lead the way or to talk or what, but her instincts were ON, they were screaming at her to get out, mixing with her head to try to figure out a way out of here. She barely noticed that Calibar was slowing her down, something she might have cared about befoore, but she was a part of something now, and so was Calibar; they had to stick together, they had to help each other.
She led the way, moving Calibar between shipping crates and buildings, stopping to let some police pass or to not run into someone; this wasn't her first raid, she could almost predict people coming to and fro... but something in her gut told her that they were gonna get caught soon. She bit her lip, trying to figure out a way out. "Think think think think think think think...!" She hissed under her breath, then gasped, suddenly whirling around to the sound of policemen getting very close. She whirled back, her eyes darting everywhere, mind racing, then locked onto a door just a floor above them. "This way!"
Calibar may or may not have climbed the staircase to get to the door, but Luzia jumped, a sharp, but pleasant hum coming from her light as it burst from her just enough to get her to the door, ripping it open and running in, grabbing the side of the railing inside to look around; a warehouse, it looked like, and they were on the staircase leading between the office upstairs and the floor beneath them.
A floor with crates... was this the stuff they wanted to get? Should... she try to get it... Kyoko... er... Oracle wanted to swipe what they could.... Luzia looked back at Calibar as she caught up, a little unsure, but willing to try. Normally, Luzia would prefer to just up and run, but... she liked Oracle, she wanted to help her, and she'd want shit like this, right? This was military tech - she thought - she knew that Oracle liked tech, and military tech was really good shit.
Narrowing her eyes, steeling her resolve, she nodded to herself, forcing herself to be braver, forcing herself to think of someone else. She could do this, she was number 4 in the whole damn country, she could fight, and she wasn't alone here. She patted Calibar's arm, looking more determined now than her previous panic. She could do this... no, THEY could do this; all they needed to do was grab something that wouldn't weigh them down.
"Come on, let's try to swipe something, Oracle won't like it if we get out of this place with nothing."

Post by Ndeye Ndao on Oct 27, 2019 23:41:58 GMT -4
Ndeye had joined Eternity because she knew they were big time players... this time, someone had been counting on the players to play, however, and as a result, most of Eternity was now caught in the same villain trap that a select group knew as "Operation Sea Priest." To add insult to injury, the drawbacks of the M.A.R.I.N.E. drug seemed too heavy at this point for her to consider using it as a way to enhance her own quirk. For a moment, it had sounded promising: a way to elevate her own quirk to the level where she could easily outmatch even the strongest among her family... for now, the dream remained a dream.
Not a very productive dream, either, now that she reflected upon it. The here and now was much more dire and there was plenty to occupy her attention.
Separated from the others, Ndeye had ended up with Luzia alone. It had been clear at the auction that the usage of the M.A.R.I.N.E. drug had been enough to agitate the girl, who just a short time earlier had been grinning over a jar of disembodied eyeballs. Ndeye could only assume that it came from a place of history or trauma, but it mattered not; she didn't think Luzia was stupid enough to use the drug. Was it even worth collecting? Maybe... it would remain monetarily valuable no matter the side effects and would also be an effective beacon for drawing in the sort of challengers she wanted to face.
While Luzia was pondering how stupid the group had been to ignore her warnings and walk into the group, one corner of Ndeye's mouth turned up into an unpleasant smirk. Her smoldering amber eyes narrowed. This trap was exactly what she'd wanted... "And a trap is only a trap if the prey is not strong enough to kill the hunter," she thought to herself, eagerly awaiting the approach of Japan's finest to try and mop up the myriad criminals scattered around. She wondered to herself how their logistics were holding up. Had they successfully anticipated the number of villains, or were they simply going to be overwhelmed? As excited as she was, she knew that she had to be prepared for some real trouble... "The long term is important too. I cannot die," she reminded herself, curbing her enthusiasm.
Ndeye was already planning to engage the police as soon as they began to muscle their way into the auction, but Luzia had other ideas. She was not an easy lady to drag physically, but she allowed herself to be pulled along by the younger girl, her senior in Eternity. "Fine," she grunted, keeping pace and ignoring the huge brawl that must surely be erupting in the auction area now. She hated to turn her back on any opportunity, but this place must currently be riddled with them. It wouldn't be the last temptation she'd face.
She expected she'd be leading the way and tearing open shortcuts away from their pursuers, but Luzia's quirk proved to be even better suited for that purpose. Ndeye's pride still felt wounded; it was disgraceful to let the smaller girl do all the work, but at least it would help her preserve the use of her own quirk for now. She slid into the darkness of the warehouse next to Luzia.
"You're right, of course," Ndeye agreed, putting up no argument. After all, she saw no police or hero presence here yet (ignorant of the vigilante moving in the shadows) and the blinds were drawn on the manager's office. The sight inside there may have given her some pause, had she known about it. Her arms were powerful enough to block many projectiles, but deflecting bullets was still beyond her. "Do not strain yourself. I can easily carry a large amount of the drug. I will grab the drugs and you will cover me," she insisted, sounding less as though she cared about Luzia's safety and more like she didn't trust the smaller girl to be able to carry as much of the substance as she could. Of course, if the situation allowed, maybe they could even get a forklift and drive out a whole palette, possibly stash it somewhere for later pickup... but she had a feeling the situation wouldn't be so convenient or leisurely.
Ndeye would have loved to flex and threaten the workers, but she wasn't sure if they were aware what they were moving... if they were, they might have guns on hand. Instead, she resolved that she would wait for an opportune moment to do just what Luzia had said: swipe it. Shrugging off her suit jacket so that her arms would not be restricted, Ndeye moved with her back against the box until she found a pallet that was just being emptied from a forklift's prongs. She couldn't carry the whole pallet, but she may be able to shoulder a crate. Waiting for the forklift to turn to drive off, she moved out from the shadows, then squatted, grabbing one of the crates with both hands and lifting it.
It turned out, the thing was really too heavy even to shoulder. Grunting slightly, she supported it with both arms as scales crept down from her biceps to her fingers. This was not a matter of convenience, but more a side-effect of the strain she was putting on her muscles. She moved the crate quickly, then set it down in the shadows of the staircase where she and Luzia were hiding. The metallic clang of box against floor would not sound out of place among all the other movements in the warehouse. "My apologies," she spoke in a whisper, sounding more irritated than apologetic, "but it is heavy. Let us pierce the box and take what we can carry. I do not want to slow us down with too much of this," she suggested, already hardening her arms for the task of pulling open the box top. Luzia could potentially do it a lot faster with her plasma, of course, but the glittering of her scales in the darkness would probably still be more discreet than a neon blade would be. Her shirt's sleeves were almost instantly destroyed by the scales popping out of her flesh.
The warehouse workers were unlikely to find them here. The question, which she herself was unaware of, was whether they'd pass unnoticed by the heroes, villains, and police, who possibly had more culpable fish to fry (like one such perp up in the warehouse office), or if the shadows would be exactly where those folks would think to search.

-Ndeye enters the warehouse through the staircase with Luzia and sticks to the shadows.
-Ndeye instructs Luzia to let her handle carrying the drug while Luzia covers them.
-Ndeye uses a moment of opportunity to grab a crate of the drug (or at least, what she assumes is the drug) from a pallet and activates her quirk, attempting to use both hands to pry it open.

Like so many others, Maxi, or as he was identifying when playing the part of a vigilante, Yuki, had found himself there, present for the final auction, having made it just in time to see what they actually had from Semper Fi. The whole thing, including everything that was there had been an intensely distressing, awful situation that he could barely bring himself to remember without wanting to freeze everything within view. The fact that he had failed to help those dear to him had always been a chip on his shoulder, a strain on his mind that he simply couldn't get over. Even then, he never let it stop or take away from his psyche or focus, his desire to see his plans and desires through to a successful end overriding any sort of emotional response that could possible change or interfere with his rationale.
So he thought he was ready. What he saw at that moment would not leave his mind anytime soon, not being someone that was really used to seeing someone die right in front of him. Sure, a body or two had been seen before, but it was like.. after the deed had been done already. It hurt his soul and left him progressively disensitized sure, but to see a man be injected by some sort of drug that turned out to be that fucking stupid crap that infected U.A. once before, but perfected and even more dangerous than before. While the old one just turned off people's mental limiters, be it fear, natural stopgaps to not hurt themselves or whatever else that was self imposed, they were at least not making people chemically stronger and insane.
This was clearly not the case.
This made a simple man who could barely do anything with his shitty boomer quirk into a full on rainbow, to a full on rainbow pile of rapidly rotting flesh. With whatever else was mixed into it that, though he could not smell it from his spot, figured that it'd smell as bad as it looked. In no time, Maxi had seen it all: a man, going from high off of his mind on some sort of drug, looking like heroin or crack cocaine, pumped with this "Marine" thing, then screamed in agony the entire time that his body went from weak, to quirk-powered insane, then dead. Not once during that entire time did the man actually seem like in a state of powerful euphoria or anything of the like.
Even the prototype made the person feel crazy insane with power. Though there were probably the bad trips. Like Maxi's own when he accidentally ingested a whole lot of it through munching ice. Never again.
Instead, he had to start moving, because just as this situation was getting its ugliest, it just got even uglier, though not unexpected by Maxi, he was already prepared for this. He knew that the cops would be here any minute now, since he did meet the number one pro Mia a while ago before this whole auction, so, being as logical as he always painted himself as being, the cops arriving to the grand finale would be the most believable thing ever. So, the moment he even heard sirens from far away, he already made his way towards IOL Logistics, finding it unnecessary to dodge a lot. He could blend in and, besides, he still had a minute or two before cops really started pouring in.
So, knowing from a good few whispers that IOL logistics had a good amount of things hidden away in it, Maxi figured that it'd be his safest bet at possibly finding some M.A.R.I.N.E, as well as securing a lot of Semper Fi shit with the least danger involved, simply because it wasn't a "flagrant" thing like the other places. Like that big ship and whatever else.
So, with that safe option, Maxi observed the warehouse/factory with attentive eyes. It really was standard, as far as his knowledge of those went, so, since he was incapable of stealth, he'd need to enter through a way that wouldn't really be expected. By that, he means not to go through the front door. Thankfully, as he looked up a bit, there was the fire exit, an obligatory thing in every single building of that style, probably everywhere in the civilized world for that matter, which he started climbing up as fast as he could, until he could see, through a window in the door, the inside of the place.
From his perspective, he'd be in a sort of walkway, above the factory, where one could see the workers doing their stuff, apparently ignoring the building ruckus. Nothing more of note to be noticed immediately, though they needed to get the hell out of there before he tried to "secure" the place and call the Police's attention to it. He had a plan that, honestly, he felt quite great about. With the sirens that probably sounded muffled inside the place, as well as the ruckus, if he did what he thought about, they'd probably believe and get the hell out.
So, once he very quietly made his way into the walkway, Maxi raised a creation of various megaphones, hovering in front of him, not using any electronics but, instead, percussion and a strong, adult voice (thank you puberty), to get their attention. Thankfully, he was covered by a shadow, a spot where the light didn't exactly reach, so, hopefully, they wouldn't spot him. "ATTENTION ALL ON-SITE PERSONNEL! Effective immediately, the entirety of the Shinagawa Terminal, along with all precincts within it are now under the Japanese PD's authority and Professional Heroes! All on-site personnel are to evacuate with immediacy and report to the authorities, under the threat of harsh sanctions should these instructions not be met!
I REPEAT!" And so, of course, Maxi repeated all of that, making sure to keep it sounding as official as possible, according to all protocol (that he remembered from his extensive experience on watching Japanese Cop shows and reading fiction), with his deepened voice and authoritative tone. Hopefully, with the building confusion, they'd be inclined to believe and fuck right off from this place.
WC: 1043
Summary: Maxi already knew cops would come since he met Redhorn beforehand Maxi wants to fuck up these dum dum's actions as much as possible Maxi imitated a cop and told the workers to get out or go to jail basically

Post by Fujou Nozomi on Oct 31, 2019 1:08:00 GMT -4
As the presentation that was supposed to be the night's climax with the introduction of MARINE, a cloaked figure among the audience turned their back on the display and started to make their exit. They were further back in the crowd, so despite of the figure's size, this went mostly unnoticed. Or perhaps it was because of their size. When all you could see of the person was their deep red hannya mask looking down at you, it was easy to remain undisturbed even in a gathering such as this one.
...and thankfully so. If Nozomi had to have broken her seeming muteness, their cover would have been blown away in an instant. She could handle a silent intimidation, but she was fundamentally incompatible with lies.
As the sounds of the demonic banquet reached its finale, resulting in the death of their sacrifice, the lights of the police flared up and pronounced their presence in this place just as the information passed down to Nozomi had prophesized. The undercover vigilante broke into a sprint, discarding their cloak to reveal their ritual garment as they did their best to choose the unbeaten paths among the port to head where they had planned to in the first place. There was little she could do about this gathering of the misguided and the violent, as much as that pained her. But if this truly was analogous to a banquet of the demons, it could be think of like this: There were more than one way to slay a demon. Even they would starve without food. For that purpose, yes, Nozomi could have placed herself nearer to the warehouse where she would not have had to deal with quite as big of a chaos. But she had wanted to know what she was dealing with here, so her presence had been important... even if she lacked the resolve to witness his final moments all the way through. "May your spirit find peace, Nakamura-san. I'll see to it."
Nozomi was not the most agile person, and her abilities at stealth were questionable at best, but in the end she managed to make her way through to the main warehouse. It didn't seemed to have been enveloped by the chaos that had been slowly spreading over the terminal as a whole. However, as the miko approached the building, she could hear a loud voice talking to the people within. She opened the door slightly ajar to hear what the noise was about. It only took a brief listening to conclude that it was a police announcement for the workers present in the building. It was weird that she hadn't seen any while approaching the building, but the tone of the announcement was clear enough. In any case, cooperation with the authorities with this matter... was acceptable. She didn't exactly operate within the realm of the laws of man, but she she had as much respect for it as any proper citizen did. And perhaps with what was conspiring in this area, their eyes would be less clouded and more ready for working together, as it was clear what had to be done. Having made her decision, Nozomi finally decided to enter the building, out in the open, and calmly joined her voice in the message that had been just announced.
"Please follow the instructions and vacate the premises. There must be no more innocent blood today." She made her declaration as she continued to walk deeper into the building with a steady pace, observing her surroundings as she did. She had yet to confirm that this really was the place where "demon food" was being stored, and in turn the location of the one who had helped to gather it, but the civilians took priority. There was no need for more unnatural departures today.
----- WC: 638 Summary: - Nozomi made her way to the warehouse from the vicinity of the "presentation". - She joins in on the "police announcement", in her own way. - Assuming that the civilians listened and nothing unexpected happens, Nozomi will continue to walk and do an overall sweep of the building to ensure that everyone is leaving as ordered. - Nozomi has failed to notice any of the other vigilantes or villains so far, but is likely to encounter Luzia or Ndeye in the near future should things remain the same.

Post by Sekkeno Awa on Nov 2, 2019 4:23:21 GMT -4
Sekkeno had spent very little time at the supposed main attraction. Auctions always seemed so much cooler on TV, but this one wasn't! No bobbles or trinkets that really looked all that pretty, and all the good stuff would have broken what little money she really had! All weapons and villainy bits. What the heck kind of auction was that? Who would go out of their way to sit around for hours on end and ogle at weapons and drugs? Chumps, that's who! If anyone there had been worth their weight in salt they would have stolen it themselves. Did they really expect her to cough up a bunch of money for their toys? Honor among thieves was stupid!
And just like that, the Sekkeno was only able to stay awake for only a few minutes before resting against one of the crates, waking just as the crowds stared in awe at the demonstration of this apparent wonder-drug. Well, not that she knew what the stuff really was, but the results spoke for themselves. Gory and bordering the absurd to the point that she could feel that day's lunch threaten to eject itself.
"Uhhhh... " She looked around at all the others in the room, trying to gauge how everyone else was reacting. An odd squirming churned in her stomach just as she decided that she was better off just going home than sticking around for whatever was supposed to come next. "Yeah, nah..." She whispered to herself. The decision would be made for her only moments before she was about to take her leave. Sirens and bright lights sprung to life all around them! Blasted! Why did she ever bother sticking around?!
With her size it was relatively easy for her to slip away from the brunt of the force without issue. She would soon find herself dodging and weaving through hasty police patrols as they scattered about the place like a swarm of army ants. The very thought of getting caught made her heart race even faster! Chills ran down her arms at the very thought of tearing down entire squadrons of the chumps, but she knew better. Getting caught out here would be a death sentence for sure!
It would be with careful step that Sekkeno would eventually stumble her way to the main warehouse, forced to make a retreat inside just before another patrolling squadron would turn the corner. She held her breath and pressed herself against the door trying her best to hear them pass by before she would dare make a move... She couldn't hear them at all, so she gave it a good thirty seconds before peeling herself away! Scott-free!
"ATTENTION ALL ON-SITE PERSONNEL!..." Sekkno looked up, she looked all around her, but all she could find were a few stringent workers giving her odd looks as whoever the guy was rambled on. She shot them a lovely little smile in the hopes that they would forget that they had ever met, though she hoped that they were more preoccupied with the sudden change in pace than they were interested in her.
The girl swallowed a lump in her throat and started running down an aisle of tall containment shelves and crates of product. Using her acrobatic training, she would attempt to climb to the top of one of these to get a better vantage point. If the police were going to bust in soon, they wouldn't be looking for anyone in the shelves, would they? Well, better question: How was she going to get around all the crates up here?
WC: 602 Summary: - Rudely woken from nap but man exploding, even that's a bit gross for Sekkeno! - Gets the hell out of dodge now that the police are launching their surprise attack! - Uses her smaller size and nimbleness to dodge police patrols. - Goes into the warehouse to dodge an incoming patrol. - Starts trying to make her way out just in time for Maxi to start his speech. - Can't pinpoint where the sound is coming from. - Attempts to climb a storage shelf to both get a better vantage point and hide from the police.

Acid Rush made sure to keep his presence unknown to the others that had found the building. The fact that the two that had entered- one lithely-built blonde woman and another with hulking muscles- had come in search of something to take away as a souvenir only meant one thing to the young man. Villains steal. Maybe it wasn't a profound and ingeniously original idea, but the vigilante marked them down mentally as the baddies in this situation. On the other side of this, Luzia and Ndeye's successful infiltration of the warehouse would lead them to the tall shelving units- three, to be exact. The warehouse was quite mundane, as there was only a single large room at the center to store all of the product and a metal staircase that led upwards to the manager's office and even higher to lead to a long metal walkway that shook just enough when someone stepped on it for the workers to actively avoid it. This meant that the two young villains were quick to spot the crates that were hiding in plain sight, and even quicker at an attempt nab them when the opportunity arose. Calibar was able to carry the product of unmarked goods to the shadows that hid them underneath the staircase, but it was in no way hidden. Perhaps from the workers, yes, but not from Acid Rush. Parallel to the staircase were two large freight doors, one closed and one left open, that led to a fenced area of the shipyard. There, the product would be able to be loaded onto ships and taken away from Shinagawa Terminal. Just outside the open door was where the young Vigilante was perched, peaking inside just long enough to watch the villains sneak underneath before pulling his head back. Calibar would be successful in prying the crate open, but it wouldn't be the experimental drug that they had hoped. Inside was, unfortunately, just rounds of ammunition mixed in with packing peanuts. It wouldn't be as coveted as needed, but would surely fetch them a nice price if they were to get it out of the warehouse. The ruckus would be just narrowly missed by the young ice-wielder that was brave enough to step onto the shaky walkway above. With how tall the shelves were, blindspots were inevitable. It was a narrow miss, but the criminal duo would be able to avoid his gaze. It would, however, also work in Maximillian's favor. The yellowing lights of the warehouse shone down in between shelving units and hardly anywhere else- the walkway dimly lit with the same type of ceiling bulbs that you would see in cramped closets but scarcely spaced. It meant that his attire- most definitely not that of a Japanese cop- would be shrouded to the workers below as he formed icy megaphones to warn the blissfully unaware employees of Mr. Amane that the area would have to be evacuated. Quiet gasps would be shared among the group, and low chatter as the workers looked around, puzzled. In the middle of the controlled chaos, Sekkeno would shuffle through the warehouse in plain view of the civilians that worked there. It was a strange way to go about things and it meant that she would also be able to be seen by Maxi just before rushing behind one of the blind spots, the shelf closest to the freight doors to be exact, that his vantage point unfortunately had. Utilizing her agility, the bubble-blower would attempt to climb the shelving unit. Though, with the crates, it would prove much harder than it looked," D-Did-" A meek, feminine voice would be almost drowned out by the display that the icy Vigilante was giving above as his voice echoed around, but it would be enough for the tiny Villain to hear. A girl, much younger than one would think to be working in a warehouse, would stare at the red-head with eyes peeping over a stacked pallet full of product," Did you need help... getting up?" The interaction was just out of Acid Rush's sight from how crowded the back shelf pathway was, and the loud boy on the walkway didn't help him hear it either. The young stranger would use her Quirk without a second thought, stretching her arms up to the shelf just underneath the top to push a crate just enough forward so that someone as small as Sekkeno could fit and hide," There... is that better...?" Smiling with a pink blush on her cheeks, the worker let her arms retract back to her sides. It was a regular day that had turned sour, and the under-payed citizens hadn't been able to quite believe it... so much so that they would have continued to work just to make end's meet had it not been for Fujou confirming that this wasn't something they could ignore. One left, then two, then all but a single man on a forklift was left that the woman, Maxi, and anyone that was currently in the warehouse excluding Sekkeno," I will leave in just one second, ma'am, Amane-san will be real upset if I don't finish this." The man said, doing as he said and working just a tad faster to make sure that everything would be in order before he left. A workaholic through and through, it seemed. He'd raise a stacked pallet up, one with crates marked with 'hazard' signs all across the sides, and was more than ready to gently place it onto an empty spot on the shelves before the interruption came. During the display of Maxi's Quirk and the bustle of workers leaving, a boat docked at the port entrance of the warehouse. Acid Rush noticed quickly, shifting from his spot next to the freight door to a cramped crack between two shipping containers. Off of it came two people, one much louder than the other," We're getting the product and leaving. Mercury will have our asses if we don't get out with something." It wasn't that they couldn't hear what was going on inside, nor did they particularly care. The hidden Vigilante watched from the shipping container as the two Villains walked in, spotting the girl that aided Sekkeno first. Regardless of whether the bubble-blower had accepted the girl's help or had chose her own path, the duo of Villains would not see her from the pallet stacked high between Sekkeno and the girl. Before the kind worker even knew what was happening, a dagger was thrown and plunged into her back. Yet, as if they hadn't just maimed an innocent, the two Villains continued walking. Stepping into the aisle that the man on the forklift and Fujou were both in, the devilish woman smirked, eyeing the stack of crates held above them just about to be safely kept away from them," Well, well, well~" She chuckled, raising her eyebrow as the thing that the two had come for was now in their sight," Looks like that was easier than we thought, Cheshire." Don't worry. I know this may seem a bit unbalanced, but it'll all sort itself out! I will be bolding the names of everyone included in the thread, but please read the entire post! I will not be writing TL;DR's myself, but I expect all of you to write yours! Remember- 48 hours from the last person that posted! Starting.... now!

Luzia grinned when Calibar agreed with her so readily, and in a way, she was relieved. There was a part of her that just wanted to run; there were cops everywhere, they were in a fucking beehive, and that wasn't even counting the villains and the heroes! A huge part of her knew that they had to be careful, that they had to watch where they stepped or got the attention of a fucking army, where any one of them could kill or lock them up! But... for some strange reason, a louder part of her felt... comfortable? It didn't like confidence, but it wasn't comfortable, either... it just felt like she didn't have to worry as much as she would have normally. Maybe that was some sort of quiet confidence or something....
In her good mood, she was more than ready to slash through one of those crates and grab what was inside, but Calibar had different plans. She gasped softly at Calibar, doing a double-take and a pout at her, but a couple words from the snake woman to explain neon being bright and her being strong, and she got the drift. She still pouted, but Luzia relented, jumping over the railing and backing into the darkness. She was annoyed, but she also appreciated that Calibar was being smart about it; that'd keep their skin on.
"ATTENTION ALL ON-SITE PERSONNEL!"
Luzia went wide-eyed, cursing under her breath, ducking further into the shadows, her head whirling around. The police were already here?! SHIT! Shit shit shit shit! Not good, not good at all! This plan was already getting fucked and they didn't even get the shit yet! No no no! She hissed through her teeth, looking over to Calibar, sighing in relief when she came back quick. "The cops are here, let's grab these and get the hell out!" Luzia might have been feeling more confident than usual, but that feeling was fading fast, especially when the second voice started talking with the first.
She helped Calibar pry the top off, and especially helped to set it down quietly, and though she did a look over her shoulder to make sure no one had noticed them yet, she blinked at the contents. "Ammo... huh... figured something like that, actually..." She blinked, reaching in and taking one of the bullets, holding it between her fingers. If she hadn't seen it herself, she would find it hard to believe that these things could kill people... hell, these were just a few centimeters long but they could blast through people like nothing... she was sure there was some sort of reason for that, but she just knew they were deadly.
After that moment of fascination, she put it back, looking at Calibar, saying, "Well, we got bullets. Guess that means guns are nearby..." She pursed her lips, which turned into a grimace, shaking her head. She was almost thinking that they should try to look for guns, but with the cops already in the building? No way, they had to get out! Not even swiping what they could mattered now, especially when all they could was just ammo! "We gotta get out of here. This is useless without guns and the cops are here!"
She was already moving, peeking out of the shadows to look around, to develop an escape route, but... she didn't see any cops. She saw someone wearing a miko outfit, or one close to it, and a mask.... She looked around some more, and saw another person in a mask, and she bit her lip. So they weren't cops, they were just heroes... was that better? That meant there were less of them, and even if they were strong, that made them easier to get away from. Yeah... she could do this... no, wait, they could do this; she had to remember she wasn't alone here.
She started to move, finding an escape route that could work even with the slower person behind her, but before a single step, she heard a new voice, and her eyes moved to it just in time to catch a brief glint, gritting her teeth, recognizing that glint as an attack on some girl. "There's more people, damnit!" She growled through her teeth... but then she grinned, getting an idea. "Wait... that might be a good thing...!" She watched as two people came in, and her confidence started to rise again despite the two walking in like they owned the place. "They'll be distracted with each other," Luzia said, starting to get giddy, her eyes flicking to the crate with the weird symbol before looking at the others. "They want that crate, but we want the other ones!" She looked over her shoulder at Calibar, grinning softly. "That's good, right?! We just need to grab another one, one with guns or something. Stuff our pockets and run!"

WC 815 - Stayed in her position, looking around to get a bead on her surroundings and enemy positions, noticing Maxi, Sunshower, and the two villains.

Post by Ndeye Ndao on Nov 9, 2019 12:57:23 GMT -4
Ndeye peered inside the crate she'd opened with a look of contempt on her face... well, more contempt than usual. Bullets. In their effort to escape the fallout, they'd evidently positioned themselves far away from the drug bust, so far away that the drugs themselves were nowhere to be found. Bullets were a criminal's friend, both valuable and deadly- but Ndeye couldn't help associate guns with weakness. She was the type who would do whatever it took to win, but she was resolute in her opinion that relying on something like a gun would throw off training of oneself, a phrase which traditionally encompassed body and mind, but now extended to quirk as well.
As if in response to her thieving actions, a booming voice suddenly rang out from overhead, warning everyone inside of a need for immediate evacuation. It seemed the police had reached out here already... probably not in response to her movements or Luzia's, but definitely in anticipation of the movements of some sort of criminals. However, were the workers here criminals themselves, moving all of these munitions? It was possible they had no idea what they were transporting, of course. She'd be interested to see whether the warehouse staff would evacuate like ordinary citizens, or scramble to collect cargo.
Someone, possibly a pro hero, or at least acting with the assumed authority of one, had arrived, instructing everyone to obey the instructions they were hearing. The guys were sure acting like civilians... the higher ups had definitely hid what they were transporting from them. This was a benefit, in Ndeye's mind. Their leaving would make operating that much easier. Unfortunately, it seemed "operations" had ceased. Luzia was pretty determined that they perform their own immediate evacuation. Ndeye still hated running, but the truth was, bullets were small potatoes and guns were still hidden. There was nothing here that couldn't be obtained some other time in a better prepared scenario. Even she couldn't argue to stay and fight with such small offerings... even though the shrine-maiden-like figure's muscles were just begging for her to test them.
Complicating matters further, she heard two more figures entering the warehouse... evidently they were so confident of their abilities, so unconcerned about whatever was in the warehouse, that they were willing to walk straight in and talk about their evil machinations out loud for whoever might be listening. Calling them "unconcerned" might not be quite right; rather, they showed intent to kill whoever happened to be in the vicinity. Their target was one of the warehouse workers who, for whatever reason, had not escaped yet... having not seen Sekkeno, Ndeye couldn't say why. Moreover, she couldn't help but wonder about motivations of the two. "It sounds like they are here to secure the drug... which would mean it's here somewhere. But the fact that they are securing it for Mercury... that part makes no damned sense. She chose when to initiate the plan itself. It all went exactly according to her instructions, from what I could tell. Why would she have to send in a team, worried about time constraints, to get it?" she pondered, watching the two from the shadows of one of the stacks of crates. Was Mercury just that chaotic? Or had something gone wrong with the mastermind's plan?
Ndeye heard Luzia's reaction and turned her eyes towards her partner, keeping her stiff, tight-jawed frown. The girl was quite a big-shot, but even a big-shot doesn't want to face this many potential fighters... with the warehouse staff mostly evacuated, it stood to reason everyone left here was a potential combatant. The muscle-bound bodyguard listened to Luzia, keeping her back pressed against the crate, while nodding slowly. "Yes. That makes sense," she agreed in a low whisper... though one might detect a bit of irritation in her voice. There was probably a part of her that saw taking the guns as settling for a consolation prize, now that they knew M.A.R.I.N.E. was in these crates somewhere. Still, it would be profitable, if they could make it out. The crates weren't so heavy that she couldn't lift one and carry it out. Now it was a matter of finding the right crates...
Walking behind the line of crates, Ndeye searched them with her eyes for anything that might be a different indicator, possibly some coloration. She soon realized she wouldn't be so lucky... after all, this was discrete cargo that even the loaders weren't aware of the contents of. Formulating another plan, she decided it would be better to test them by weight... the ones packed with guns should feel different than the ones with bullets she tried earlier. They were also, presumably, at least some distance away. Moving past a few more rows of boxes, she reached a set she felt was far enough away, then began testing the boxes, lifting them each a small distance before moving on to the next one. Once she found one that had a slightly different weight, she'd attempt to lift it over her shoulder.
She was still being as quiet as she could manage, but being unaware of Maxi's overhead view, it was pretty unlikely she'd evade his sight this time. Unless he was involved getting in the middle of Nozomi and the intruders, that is. "I believe those two came on a ship," Ndeye pointed out to Luzia in a low whisper, while shouldering the box of either guns or whatever it was that was not the same weight as bullets. "Perhaps we could take it? It might be a safer way to escape than on foot, with all the cops and heroes around," she proposed. It was a brazen plan, presented as though it was much simpler than it would be in practice. "And we may avoid being fired upon by Mercury's people if we are in one of her vessels." This wouldn't be the first time Ndeye had illegally stolen away on somebody else's boat for the sake of continuing her career...

-Ndeye sees and hears Nozomi, the entry of Mercury's two, as well as the attempted stabbing of the warehouse employee. She does not see Sekkeno, Maxi, Acid Rush, nor the warehouse manager.
-Ndeye remains in the shadows of the shipping containers and searches for a crate with a different weight than the bullet crates, thinking it could be guns or M.A.R.I.N.E. Once she finds one, she puts it over her shoulder to carry it.
-Ndeye suggests to Luzia that they try to steal the boat that just arrived as a means of escape.

Post by Maximillian Tychus Kane on Nov 11, 2019 22:16:19 GMT -4
Maximillian found himself to be extremely pleased with the way things were going right now, for a whole few minutes - even had some masked heroine come in and actually wing it with what he was doing. Almost assuredly a vigilante, however, as the actual pro heroes came along with the cops, so they'd very much know if the announcement was real or bullshit. Maxi ain't complaining. When everyone had left and only one workaholic idiot stayed behind, the young man was about to start thinking of ways to find any possible villain that might have made it in and negotiate a way for them both to get out. If random chance has it, people usually balance themselves out so, by esstimate, he figured that an amount of heroes and villains had probably scurried here, evening things out. Likely, though not guaranteed. Less likely now too, since, from outside, he distinctly heard a boat dock up right next to the facilities, only for two people who apparently were so confident in themselves that they talked loudly, didn't care to hide and even namedropped Mercury, revealing themselves as workers of the overall enemy - if the knife that they threw at a girl's back didn't show it well enough. As well as their tones when they found the things in the forklift, clearly happy about it. If basic intuition served him, that thing was either the drug or some other top secret weapon that DEFINITELY should not go in their hands. What could he do, however? He had no way to actually get them without revealing his quirk. Sure, he knew how guns worked, but he had no actual experience handling one! The strategic fighter felt himself to become a little bit concerned for once, until, under his nose, Ndeye started passing by. Pushing aside the beauty he just saw in that woman's glorious muscles, he noticed an exposed crate within the ones she carried, full of bullets. He couldn't hear what she was talking about with some other person, though that was not necessary for this moment. Right now, he had a plan he could put in motion in mere seconds and cause some damage. Step one. A distraction. As far as his quirk's range could go - and that is far -, he decided to target one of the top crates in one of the various piles, making sure that it was in the opposite direction of the shoulder that Ndeye used to hold the bullet crates with (ie: she's holding it in her right shoulder, he blew it up to her left), silently creating an ice bar right beside it, so that he could simply push it down from the pile, bringing it down to the ground where it'd VERY NOISILY crash down, spreading whatever contents it had inside in a cacophony of confusion that could very well be written off as some idiot's inability to stack crates. The bar, of course, remained in the unlit shadows of the walkway. Thanks to that distraction, as well as the noise it caused, he targeted a good few bullets in Ndeye's crate, creating rather small rings around the tips of the bullets to drag them up to him. Should everything still be going by his plan and not interrupted by some ungodly Deus Ex Machina, Maxi, or as he was going by now, Yuki, should have around a dozen bullets in his hands. Step two. Fuck 'em up.
The plan was a very fast one, for good reason at that. If he took too long, the initial shock state that anyone not expecting that crash would wear off and they would start getting suspicious of the presence of a third person, then take cover. Sure, the cover they may take could be entirely exposed to him, but it could also not. Instead, he had to act now and, thanks to his sufficient knowledge of guns from being a complete weaboo with Wikip*dia, he knew how bullets functioned, at a very base level.
All guns did in fact was push in a small trigger that ignited the explosive inside the shell, so that it could propel the bullet.
And there's no better, more stable creation than his ice. So, once he had that dozen bullets held up by ice, not too much so that he wouldn't somehow make them so cold that they couldn't even ignite, he used his practiced range, which gave him incredibly accurate, far-reaching aim, pulling the "trigger" on three bullets.
They all went directly to the two Mercury Goons, targeting the animalistic one with two bullets, one for each kneecap to make sure that he.. she? It, could not run and use their possibly increased agility, which might just be, according to, once again, obvious intuition their best and strongest feature. The last, third bullet went for one of the knees of the other goon, which was definitely a woman, since those tits didn't damn lie, figuring that one should be enough to drop her to the ground. After all, no matter someone's quirk, if they can't move, they become all the easier to restrain. And good thing too, since just a bullet or two to dust their knee caps wouldn't kill! If normal humans back in medieval ages could have arrows go through their knees, they'd live. Besides, it kept his identity a secret, since, for all anyone in that warehouse knew, it was just a cop firing their gun after seeing villains come in and try to get the forklift's crates, as well as sparing Maxi a LOT of energy - after all, the only thing he did was make small ice creations and push a "button" to fire the bullets.
Such dangerous mechanisms.
Step Three Hope it actually worked.
wc: 925
Summary:
Maxi was happy his fake-police thing worked
Miffed that Mercury shitlings came in
Created a mega distraction by dropping a box from one of the piles on the other side of the factory, used that to sneakily use his quirk to grab a dozen rounds away from Ndeye and use their triggering mechanisms to fire three bullets: 2 For the knees of the animal-looking one, 1 for the right knee of the woman.

Post by Fujou Nozomi on Nov 14, 2019 3:14:32 GMT -4
Nozomi's inspection was halted by one dedicated worker. Not physically, but his comment caused her to stop to observe him. "As long as you make it quick. It truly is an emergency." It was evident in her voice that she didn't mind this request, although the same couldn't be said about lacking worry over it. It was a case of bad timing, sure, and ultimately his efforts would be undone both by her and the police. But if this man's dedication was enough to keep working at a time like this, Nozomi had little reason or right to stop him. There would be no harm in it. Surely. Nozomi also failed to notice any other people in the warehouse as she observed the man. Whoever had made the announcement was at least around, possibly the police they had talked about as well... although that latter one seemed more unlikely the more she thought about it. The person who had made the announcement was nowhere to be found either. "One thing at a time." Nozomi dismissed the suspicions for now and focused at the task at hand. ...until the disruption, that is.
She didn't see what happened, only heard weird noise coming down from one of the halls. Soon after, two figures emerged. There was something sleazy about them... and while Nozomi couldn't confirm it at the moment, she got the suspicion that they weren't the ones who made the alert. One of them kept eyeing the last batch of the crates. Her body tensed up as she turned to face them. "And who might you be? Let it be known that-" Nozomi interrupted herself as something crashed down further back, turning her attention towards it. Were there more studious workers still around? More suspicious folk? A coincidence? Or were the police showing up already?
What quickly followed, three shots fired from the rafters at the duo, narrowed it down. More suspicious people. The police would have given a warning. Nozomi's body lowered its posture on instinct, making itself a smaller target towards future shots. She didn't have the reflexes to dodge bullets nor was the power within her strong enough to stop them, but for now it seemed that she wasn't the target. Otherwise one of those three shots would have been made at her. She also couldn't afford to try and protect herself with cover if she wanted to make sure that the worker and the crates weren't approached.
Speaking of which, just in case the working man had yet to be convinced otherwise about their workplace safety, Nozomi would urge him much more strongly than she had before. "You need to leave now!" A faint blue glow started to emit from Nozomi as she took a stance. She was between the pair and the last worker alongside the suspicious-looking last crate batch that they had moved. If that was were last of the demon's meal was, and these two were eyeing them... The miko wouldn't address them out of her own initiative again, she was more concerned in trying to respond to whatever they would do after they had just been shot at. She wouldn't initiate an attack either before this response happened.
----- WC: 535 Summary: - Nozomi halted her patrol to observe the one stalwart worker. - Was approached by the mystery duo, still unaware of anyone else at the scene. - Is positioned between the duo and the worker/crates, and isn't intent on letting anyone to go for them. - Has started to activate her quirk, but hasn't made use of it yet. No other hostile actions so far either.

Post by Sekkeno Awa on Nov 15, 2019 0:15:50 GMT -4
Sekkeno wouldn't peep a word to the girl standing right below her, partially from the shock of getting caught. She would stare for a few moments before giving the employee a little nod. Sekkeno wouldn't waste any time crawling into the tiny space and making herself as small as she could manage. It was fine. She could just wait this out until the ruckus passed maybe? She could sit still for just a few... hours... right? Wrong... She was starting to get a little antsy about the situation that she was being forced into. At least there were a few people left in the world that showed some common decency!
Her eyes were drawn immediately to the goons as they stepped into the warehouse. They smelled like trouble. Probably. The sea smelled like trouble all the time and she was pretty sure that these two reeked of it right now! She blinked for only a moment, a moment just long enough that the knife had already been lodged into the other girl's back! That couldn't be good for her at all! Sekkeno's first instinct was to get out of her spot and help the girl, but a voice in the back of her head would quickly point out that would get her noticed. If they were willing to kill someone that did nothing wrong so nonchalantly, what were they going do to her if she crawled out of her hidey-space?! Was the girl even alive? She hadn't even screamed before she was on the ground. Oh this was stressful! It wasn't that she minded if the girl died, or anything! It's not like she... helped her. Sekkeno looked back to the worker and chewed on the inside of her cheek a little bit. What was she doing copping a feel for some rando? She had gone through an entire police squad without a scratch! She looked around the best she could to make sure the coast was clear before she made a ring with both of her hands and started blowing a rather large bubble, one just a bit bigger than her own body. If she was allowed to proceed unhindered, she would release and let it float straight to the ground.
Jumping from the storage shelf, the bubble would give just enough that she make a little hop right off and get next to the girl. She would grimace at the wound before her, but she was no medic. All she knew was that pulling out something like this could do more harm than good. She would squat down in an attempt to get her face closer to the girl. "Hey ummm. You're alive, right?" Her head lurched back towards the commotion as things started spicing up: crates crashing to the ground and something like gunfire started ripping through the warehouse. Yeah, this was getting worse than she thought it would get. She could deal with police if she had to, but hero ruckus on top of that? Nuh uh! Well, maybe, but that was besides the point! She just felt totally side-lined by everything that was going on!. She clenched her teeth and looked back towards the interlopers. Anger boiled inside of her, memories of her little puppy dying in her hands rushed through her head, and, without much thought, she took the little cushion she had made for herself and split into many smaller bubbles before sending them haphazardly in the general direction of those two Mercury goons! Through shelf and crate alike if she had to! Her bubbles could break through stone, so she was pretty certain someone was about to have a bad time regardless! All she needed was a little bit of time!
"You helped me. Thanks." She kneeled down to grab the girl by the shoulders, and would attempt to start dragging her back to the door that Sekkeno had come through. She was pretty sure that the police wouldn't try to take her in if she was just trying to help someone, right? Ugh being heroic was SOOO STRESSSSFUL! "Sooo let's get you out of here, yeah?" the idea of putting a bubble through the girl's head flashed by a few times, but Sekkeno owed her enough not to do that. All she would do was drag her to the door and leave her in the alley and the police would probably come by again? Yeah, that sounded like it would work! Then she could come back and have a little fun!

The night would slowly descend into chaos as time progressed. Mercury's thugs made quite the entrance- one following closely behind the other- as they stepped into the main floor of the warehouse. The two were obviously there for something, and their eyes were immediately drawn to the crate that was elevated high on the forklift. Still sitting on said vehicle, the worker that stayed behind was staring wide-eyed at the pair of Villains. Deciding to stick around for a measly minute or two more of work was a mistake, and it was one that the youngest worker in the warehouse had already begun to feel the regret like a knife.
Acid Rush was still pressed between two shippers, and he would slip out when the coast looked to be clear. The arrival of the two Villains on their boat spelled nothing but trouble. Not only did it mean that there were two more baddies to add to the unsavory mix, but it also meant that someone would surely attempt to escape. The young Vigilante had been a sitting duck for the entirety of the night since the auction began, but it would continue as he had a job to do. So, as he had done before, Acid Rush waited for the perfect moment to strike.
Meanwhile, in the building, Luzia and Ndeye were formulating a plan. With their current crate of bullets in hand (or, in this case, on shoulder), the two attempted to sneak towards the other crates to try and find something a bit more valuable. They would be successful, slipping into the shadows that the shipping containers were casting to move towards what could be their ticket to fortune. A lone crate unlike the weight of their current would surely stand out among the others as it sat beside stacked palettes and stuck out like a sore thumb. Should it be picked up, Ndeye may notice that the container is significantly heavier than the one containing bullets. And, with how slick Maxi was with his Quirk, the crate containing the ammunition was about to get just the slightest bit lighter.
The mastery that which the young Vigilante wielded his Quirk with was extraordinary for his age, and the long hours in the ice cream parlor would surely pay off as practice. The thugs at the center of the room had garnered Maximillian's attention, and the strategist had to think quickly on his feet to get the upper hand. His Ice Quirk would be used to push a crate off of the shelving unit, and would just nearly hit the duo of Mercury's underlings had it just been the crate on the right. The cat boy's spiky hair stood on point, obviously frightened by the whole ordeal. Though, all that the woman did was scoff,"Tch." They knew not of the boy watching them on the walkway, and even less aware of the dozen bullets would now find in the palm of his hand.
Firing a gun is instant enough to be blissfully unaware of the weapon's existence until after the bullet has already pierced through skin and muscle. For one half of the duo, however, it was instinct. The cat's ears perked up suspiciously, and stepped out of the way with ease. That wouldn't be all, however, as he slid down onto all fours and stuck his large black paw out to take the white-haired boy's attack against his partner. He winced in pain while the devilish woman scowled,"Go get it, Cheshy." Without another word, the cat was off. The shelving unit beside them was a fine ladder for the feline, and he climbed it with precise movements until the walkway was just close enough for him to jump. But... he couldn't have known Maxi was there, right? All he had to go off of was the trajectory of the bullet, and even that would have been hard to pinp-
Cheshire pushed himself off of the highest crate stacked on the shelf and leapt back, his golden eyes locked onto his target. He'd twist his body just before impact to land on all four legs, now sharing the walkway with Maxi mere meters apart. The bullet wound on his paw looked painful, and the cat would lick it with a playful glint in his eye. This wouldn't be battle, but a game.
Fujou had already stepped between the forklift and the two thugs before the bullets were thrown, and the devilish woman was far from amused. The command from the miko only made the villain chuckle, a toothy grin tugging at her glossed lips,"Sorry, Princess, but I'm not leaving without that crate." The man on the forklift was frozen, unable to think about anything but his impending death. Or, so he thought. His hands clutched the vehicle's controls with white knuckles, gulping back the growing lump in his throat as the two women stood beside him had their standoff,"Though, if you're not willing to give it up-" The devil spoke with a voice as smooth and silky as velvet. It consistently stayed that way, however, until she stepped back. The veins in her arms started to pump with an orange glow and her muscles pulsed and tensed. Her golden irises spilled out into her sclera, and the woman's entire eye began to glow,"Then I'll have to take it by force." With both Fujou and the woman's Quirk's activating, it seemed like it would be a grand showdown.
That was, until Sekkeno's bubbles broke the shelving unit.
The plan was simple enough- help the girl that currently had a knife sticking out of her back and take out Mercury's thugs along the way. The onslaught of bubbles that Sekkeno had sent through the shelf had flown just between the two girls, causing the devilish woman's already glowing eyes to flare up like a solar flare out of anger. That wouldn't be the last of their worries, however, as the iron supports of the shelf creaked. The noises were gradual, but the collapse of the shelves inward was jarringly sudden. Crates and palettes began sliding towards the center, eventually tipping off the side and down towards the battle below. This wouldn't be a problem if the worker was out of the warehouse, as a full palette slipped off the side and towards him. Not only would that side of the shelf have problems with falling product, but Sekkeno's side as well. Not only was the bubble blower's cover blown, but her actions made the warehouse floor a tad more hectic. As crates hit the floor, so did the product inside of them. Explosives, guns and ammunition, painkillers and the other more unsavory kinds of drugs hit the ground. The only thing that hadn’t made an appearance was the M.A.R.I.N.E. that was surely in the crate that Mercury’s thugs were vying for.
Chaos was brewing on the main floor of the warehouse. And, as the thick of it began, the selfish manager would slide the overlooking window to peek out rather than act.

Everything happened almost all at once; crashing, knives, jumping, and even bubbles and some random little girl. Loud noises, GUNSHOTS, screaming, even some banter... every loud noise made her jolt, the gunshots made her flinch and duck by instinct. Her body told her, screamed at her to run, but for some reason, she didn't. There was something inside her, something stronger than her fear, that kept her rooted in her spot, kept her confident enough to not follow her instincts. The sight of the drugs nearly made her break out of her hiding place, attracting her like a moth to a flame, a brief grin on her face as she almost launched herself clear through the warehouse to get them, but she stopped herself. They called to her like an angelic choir, but she had to stay focused. She kept herself planed while her mind raced, her eyes darting everywhere; a mental map formed, shifted, changed in her head; she had to remember where people where, how to move around in the space given to her the easiest, and then figure it out again when that map changed when fights broke out.
More than that, though, something formed in her head. An idea, maybe even a plan. She could also see the future play out ahead of her, she could see almost every step set out in front of her. But she had to be quick; they had to be quick. She whirled around to her friend in this shitshow, an uncharacteristic grin on her face. She was excited, she was confident; she had an idea. That almost never happened. In her excitement, she almost didn't hear Calibar, and she even put out a syllable of her sentence before suddenly freezing, doing a double take at the beefy woman, her confidence almost entirely disappearing like air out of a balloon; in a single instant, it felt like her plan wasn't that good at all.
"I... I dont..." Her gut told her that it was a bad a idea; a boat could be easily caught, couldn't it? It could only go in the water, and there was no way in hell that the police wouldn't have a wall of boats. But... they might not have it all covered, too? If those two people got in, there's probably a way out? She started biting her lip hard, her mind racing, but now in a not fun way, holding her head and squeezing it. "They wouldn't like it," she muttered, still audible to Calibar since she was so close, but too quiet to otherwise be heard. The people attacking now definitely would not like they stealing their boat, but... they'd be distracted with the others, was it even possible? "The police would stop us," but again, she wondered if they would; they were everywhere, but she knew that there could be a hole in the raid they could slip through... she slipped through that hole before. Her eyes were darting left and right, not looking at anything in particular, just struggling to keep up with her own thoughts as she tried to figure this out. This was fucking awful! Thinking sucked! She didn't make plans, she didn't like to lead, she just did was other people said! But taking the boat still felt like an awful idea! On foot was way safer; she always got away on her feet, she coudl always at least get to a train or something on her feet! Calibar was probably smarter, though... should she go with her? Was the boat a better idea?
"Do you even know how to drive a boat?!"
Finally, Luzia turned to Calibar, her voice in a half-yell, loud enough to be yelling at Calibar, but still whispering to keep their hiding place hidden. She glared at her, finally snapping out of her spiral to all but hiss at Calibar. She didn't know much, but she could guess that driving a boat was at least as hard as driving a car, and she didn't know how to do that... not that she'd want to anyway. Almost immediately though, her glare faded, suddenly shifting to guilt for snapping at what was supposed to be a friend. She sighed, still feeling like it was a bad idea, but she wasn't as smart as Calibar; she probably knew what she was talking about. "I don't think it's a good idea, the cops probably have the port locked down, but, maybe there's a way we can slip through," she relented. She bit her lipa gain, but more gently this time as she gazed out to the chaos. Her idea didn't change much... could it work, though?
"I'll distract them," she said, looking back at Calibar. "They're distracted with each other, but I'll make it so that their eyes are on me, not you." A small part of her doubted this plan; putting herself in danger? Calling attention to herself in a room full of dangerous people? How high was she?
...Not high enough if she could ask that question, that was for sure.
Ignoring that part of her though, just wanting to get through this in the fastest, safest way possible, she continued. "I'll run around and grab some things, and you sneak around so you can run." Forgetting to mention that she was willing to go with whatever plan Calibar wanted, Luzia took a deep breath before rushing out. From every pore in her body streamed out a pink mist, glowing softly to catch even more attention than the mist would already, and a strongg stream of much brighter pink light int he middle of the mist. She ran out from her hiding place, purposefully jumping onto several crates - none quite close enough to the fighting - and jumping down others, weaving between a couple, even. She was serving as a distraction, but she also wanted to do something, too. Leaving her trail behind her, she took a somewhat roundabout way to one of the shelf that had fallen, jumping over the side of one of the broken crates to duck down, grabbing the drugs that she had spotted earlier and stuffing them into her bag.
If she got out of this, she was going to have a hell of a time with these.

Talked with Ndeye about a gameplan.
Rushed out of the space under the stairs with glowing mist and plasma to make herself more noticeable/utilize the blind affect as a smokescreen.
Took a funny path over crates and some twists to be more noticeable.
Ducked to the side of a fallen crate and started grabbing some drugs.

It was apparent to Ndeye that the situation was becoming more chaotic, with another quirk user appearing out of the shelves, crates falling off those same shelves, gunfire coming from the rafters, and Mercury's goons utilizing their quirks. She would now have to plan to contend with oversized bubbles, whatever quirk that out of place miko was so confident in, and a pair of animal quirks. Not to mention a gun... somewhere. The gunfire was especially problematic; Ndeye had always liked to think her quirk could provide some defense against speeding bullets, but she'd never had the chance to practice it before, and this was not the right situation to take a gamble. The best she could do for now was keep both the crate (slightly emptier) and her hardened arm up and in that direction, so that perhaps the two together could cover her on that one corner. She never would have imagined that the bullets being fired had been pulled from her own salvaged crate.
She turned her head slightly to watch Luzia, knowing that she needed to continue following her senior's guidance. The floor of the warehouse was beginning to look like a Gangster Paradise, in the sense that it was now covered with guns, bullets, and drugs of all flavors, so Ndeye understood that there could be a strong urge to snatch or sample it. The big hench-woman cocked one eyebrow as she saw Luzia run the gambit of emotions, from hunger, to confidence, to self-doubt. "Hmph. A child, in the end," she thought to herself, chocking the strange behavior up to the childish tendency to bite off more than once can chew. Could one so hesitant really be such a renowned killer?
"If you don't want to get on the damned boat then we will leave it," Ndeye responded standoffishly, her eyes dark beneath her thick brow-line. The vein throbbed in her head as Luzia raised her voice. "I have seen someone drive a damned boat before! Have you not?!" she complained in an increasingly thick accent, growing further agitated. The thought that the boat might not have the keys in it was probably the larger concern, but that wasn't on her mind at the moment. The irony that Ndeye was coming close to attacking her own teammate as her first piece of action tonight was not lost on her; she clenched her lips and tried to focus. "We will run into the police wherever we go. We must simply be prepared to fight. Japanese police will not stop us."
The next idea really did cause Ndeye some agitation, though, and she struggled to keep her voice down. "Child, use your head! You are not thinking! My quirk is for defense, yours is-!" she scowled, but Luzia was already on the move. Ndeye had to admit that Luzia's quirk was good for drawing attention, and for that matter, her own was pretty good for carrying things, but she still had serious grievances with having her escape covered by a child. As she watched Luzia move, she noticed the drugs the girl was picking up. Luzia seemed pretty excited about them. Was this really still about making a safe escape with valuable items?
And was Ndeye really going to leave without throwing a single punch? It seemed like everyone in the damned warehouse was fighting except her, whether they wanted to or not. The thought infuriated her even more than butting heads a moment ago or swapping from hired muscle to secret pack mule had.
Still, if she was being designated as secret pack mule, then she was going to do that job as thoroughly as she could manage; her pride demanded that, at least. With a flex of one arm, she broke free her limb from its stone casing, leaving the rock arm attached at the shoulder so that it could continue supporting the crate she'd already hoisted. With the other rock arm, she grabbed the differently weighted crate that she'd tested earlier. With a crack, she supported it over her back in the same fashion... then, her eyes shot over to the crate that was still being held by a lone driver on a forklift. Everyone seemed to have eyes on that one... That meant the big prize was over there.
If she went after it now, she'd be abandoning Luzia's plan. It would be kind of hard for the Painter to act as a distraction if her partner was trying to lift off with the one object everyone had their eyes on. Ndeye decided that instead of quality, she'd have to make up on quantity. Cursing under her breath, she knelt down and grabbed two arms full of heavy armaments, carrying them in her flesh-and-blood arms. She now looked like someone's odd depiction of an armed-to-the-teeth Ashura. She contemplated taking the time to load the guns and fire back at the unseen gunman, but the fact that he was unseen made that a very bad idea.
With her heavy load, it would be hard to move secretively, but the many distractions around ought to help. With her back bent, she moved towards the nearest warehouse gate that would allow her large frame through and shouldered her way towards it. She shot Luzia a look that told her to follow after without too much more fooling around. However, the way things were going tonight, it was pretty darn likely she was going to make it out of the warehouse carrying all that cargo.

-Ndeye uses her arm and crate to try to cover herself against the "gunman."
-Ndeye gets angry at Luzia but concedes to letting Luzia cover her while she grabs more goodies.
-Ndeye carries a crate of bullets over her right shoulder and the different weight crate using her left shoulder. With both of these supported by breaking off her shell arms but leaving them attached at the shoulders, she grabs a load of guns with her real arms.
-Ndeye makes her way to a gate to exit and signals for Luzia to follow when she can break free.
