feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Toma had started to jog along the roof of the train, trying to catch up with the other Heros, when he saw the cataclysmic assault on the chopper. Even before the explosion the incident made his stomach churn. These evil bastards were willing to throw a live hostage at the spinning blades of a helicopter. The actual explosion itself only made things worse.
The roiling boil of emotions didn't stop him from doing his job though. Before he could even formulate a plan Toma had leapt off the train and poured his quirk into his thrusters. He pumped as much power as possible into them, letting the floodgates of control release and push his flight speed to the maximum. If he hadn't been operating purely off instinct he would have lamented the pain in his hands and feet as his quirk began to burn through him.
He was already rocketing towards the helo as the other two squawked on the radio for him to rescue the pilots. He didn't know what he was planning to do once he got to the chopper, or how he could even help them, but he surged towards the lilting whirligig nonetheless.
He threw his hands in front of him just in time to slow himself down enough not to slam headfirst into the crushed side of edge chopper, but he still hit the busted door on the pilots side hard enough to knock a fair bit of air from his lungs. He gripped the frame of the former glass door as hard as he could, trying to hold onto the bucking and slowly spinning beast.
He didn't need to survey the situation too long to see that the pilot's seat was jammed, and that the copilot was dead. There was a large shard of the plexiglass windshield sticking out of the limp bodies chest. Toma didn't have time to grieve his passing so he turned his attention back to the living pilot.
"Hold still!" He yelled into the mic over the sound of the wind as they started to tilt sideways and pull away from the train. If he didn't get the pilot free quickly enough he wouldn't be able to get back to the train. That gave him the drive to start kicking the crap out of the pilots chair. After two swift stomps he heard a loud crack and was suddenly and painfully smacked into by the ejection seat as it broke free.
The seats release sent him flying away from the chopper and almost knocked him unconscious, but he managed to catch his bearings and engage his suit just before smacking into the ground. As he righted himself he pointed towards the accelerating train and tried to catch up.
TAG ■ WORD COUNT ■ TL;DR: Toma sped off to save the pilot and is now pushing his limits to try and catch up with the train. |

(ooc: since i’m a bit busy with classes, i’ll do an example of the kind of summary you should do if you do not have time to post. keep in mind that these summary don’t earn XP, but they allow everyone else to continue the thread without having to ignore entire parts of the battle)
- Toma reaches the helicopter before it crashes; unjams the ejection seat - Toma is fast enough to catch up to the train, gets there by the start of his next post - Lieutenant dispatches a vehicle to pick up the pilot; tells the heroes to keep the villains busy so they can rescue him

As Savage charged forward the snake-man decided to use a martial arts move Savage was relatively familiar with, he planned a throw using a metal staff to offset his charge and for a normal man perhaps it would have worked but unfortunately Savage is not a normal man. Instead as he collided with the staff and his feet lifted off the ground he swung his foot forward aiming underneath the jaw of the snake man whilst flattening his hand and effectively karate chopping the weak excuse of staff without a second thought, mind you this wouldn't stop his forward momentum as he collided on the train car but now he wouldn't go nearly as far and his foot was nestled under the jaw of Serperior using it similar to how someone uses a hook, effectively bringing both down flat on the train car thanks the momentum Serperior had so generously donated. This was all only possible thanks to Savage's own inhuman proportions.
"Another student of the arts~ This should be entertaining!" Savage grinned his face in the train car, as he had made a visible indent on the train car where he made impact. Suddenly without warning Savage would use the placement of his foot under Serperior's jaw which was laid at this point with the top-side facing downward to pull himself back a few inches to change his foot position to where the pad was resting firmly on Serperior's neck; for a more clear explanation imagine going from laying flat on the floor to a push up position."I hope you're durable!" He said kicking his foot inward to Serprior's jaw and using solely the strength in his foot to lift his body up and tumbling backwards onto Serperior's body whilst shifting his torso to aim his elbow directly for the stomach of the serpent, however this was not his actual goal. He had no clue just how durable the hero was and he didn't care to test, he just didn't feel like going for the logistics of staying on top of a moving train. Whether this impact would be enough to break the train metal on top and send both into the inside of whatever the train car had in store was unclear but if it did it'd be really fun! And if it didn't well, Savage would still have managed to accomplish one of the oddest pro-wrestling moves of all time. Either way, life is experience and anything can happen! It was also possible the snake creature moved its under-body in time to manage it's own counter attack!
--- Tldr: Savage got lifted but broke the staff and kicked his foot beneath Serperior's jaw to drag both down.
He went from a flat position to a push up position to use his super strength and effectively lift his entire body weight whilst only using his foot for a sick ass elbow bomb.
He's trying to use the elbow bomb to send both into the inside of the train but whether or not that works is up in the air.

Don't Let It Bring You DOWN
Summary: - Ana noticed that the helicopter would be going down, is glad that there's going to be more chaos as a distraction. Hopes that maybe it'll make getting out of there with the product smoother. - Is confused as to where the other two heroes that she previously spotted went. Nani the fuck? - Hears Serperior call Savage a 'rent-a-thug'. Is very amused at this. - However, no one can call him a rent-a-thug but her, and is more than ready to attack him before she notices the flying man approaching the train. - Ana will, instead, ready her blades once and be ready to pounce if Tomato gets into melee range. It's Only Castles BURNING |

Tyson did not find any resistance inside the cart. Just boxes. Lots and lots of boxes of unmarked supplies. Still though, even though they all seemed safe, there were probably alot of illegal goods and weapons there. Yep yep. Well, at the very least he would not have to care much about smacking around dudes...yet.
Still, the fact that he could not use his quirk was quite...unfortunate. Why the hell did they send the explosion hero to the moving train instead of the boat thing?! Beats him. Well, maybe he was supposed to balance out the idiot that was the snake dude and the bleek other guy. Whatever, in the meantime the other two dealt with stuff, he would make sure to start securing the train.
He would quickly close the container, lock it and then rush to the next cart. Then, he would turn his attention to the connector link. He was going to detach it from the main train, leave that thing behind for the Liutenant to pick up. "Delta 5-7, the last cart is clear, I'm separating it from the rest so that you guys can pick it up. We got more problems in front, but there are alot of explosives here, I can't use my Quirk. Is there anywhere we can divert this thing that's not the center of Tokyo? Over."
With that communication done, Tyson quickly grabbed on the release lever to detach the carts and pulled. If it wouldn't budge, then he would need to slide in some of his coal powder there and use it as some sort of slow burn. He would use the heat generated from the combustion to thermite right through the metal if needed. Then, once that was done, move on to the next cart.
Tyson inspects the last cart, finds no badguys, asks the police to divert train to a non inhabited area, starts unlocking the last cart from the train through normal detach lever or thermite so that the police can secure it while he keeps going.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Toma felt one outstretched hand touch a railing on the back of the train and gripped on tight. He felt like the moving train was trying to rip his arm from the socket but ignored the pain and pulled himself up. Pulling himself back onto the train he stood with a dangerous cocktail of emotions running through his mind.
He felt pain for the other pilot and the hostage they had lost. He felt indignation and a little bit of fury towards the terrorists. But mainly he felt a serene sense of calm. His mind had previously been running a mile a minute, but as he now stood looking at one of the perpetrators everything slowed down.
"Your despicable…" He spat venom as she stood there waiting for him to act. "Your not even human…" He truly felt that way about them. They had power, but no sense of responsibility. They hadn't even batted an eye at killing innocent civilians and police without hesitation. Somewhere in the back of his mind a small bit of genetics reveled in the things he was about to say.
"Animals like you," He kept his gaze firmly locked on the woman as he quickly removed his helmet and popped the latches on his gauntlet in two swift motions. "Think that because you have power…" He flung both his hands to his sides and launched the gauntlets off the train, a loud hiss let out with the flourish as his suit no disconnected from his body and released a small bit of stored up power.
"You can do whatever you want. That you can kill and steal to your heart's content." He felt a rush of power and exhilaration as the suit stopped regulating his quirk and let it flow freely. It felt like uncapping a bottle of slightly shaken soda and watching as it fizzed over. "But power has consequences, even for monsters like you."
"Come at me dog" He readied himself with one open palm pointed out towards her. "So I can show you the gravity of unchecked power" his quirk started to go a little haywire as his emotion rose, arcs of plasma streaming like loose lighting across his arms.

Despite being braced for it, Serperior was still caught off-guard from the thug’s unflinching charge. Most sane people would hesitate, or try to break their momentum before slamming gut-first into a metal pole.
Then again, he probably wasn’t fighting someone sane now, was he?
Decisions came quickly, a series of instinctual trades, minimizing losses, years of practice in the ring condensed to milliseconds.
--Sacrifice the staff--The man’s hand slammed into it, bending the hollow steel like it was cheap aluminium. Serperior could fight without--
--High kick. My god, he’s flexible, not just strong. Roll with it, use it--Like a reed in the wind, Serperior bent backwards, inhumanly flexible. Pain spiked through his chin, teeth clacking together like a thunderclap. Bruising. The taste of blood. He'd bit something, his tongue, his cheek? He heard his heart point.--
--Never match strength for strength. Bow without breaking--He let himself fall backwards, tail sliding on the metal roof like sandpaper, sweeping forward, pulling Savage with him as they both fell flat, subtle adjustments of the body in heartbeats so he landed softly, hands flat underneath him, still holding his bent staff--
“Waith--I recognithe you!” He called out, braver than he felt. His voice was thick from his swollen jaw. No one else had attacked him yet, though. That was probably good.
“Brutalither? Ah--Primitive, wasth it?” Serperior gasped, fumbling for the name, just letting his mouth run. Sure, it was a waste of breath, but his showmanship was as well-honed as his martial arts. He’d taunted many enemies into making mistakes.
He started to lash out his coil, trying to get a hold on the thug’s chest, but the thug suddenly jolted into the air, Serperior’s next sentence cut short.
Holy shit!
As the elbow-drop came down, Serperior shifted to the side, barely dodging so it hit the slope of his chest armor, rather than the center. He heard an ugly crack, felt it in the bones of his chest, bringing back the faded ache of the car accident, and for a moment, Serperior could swear he smelled burning metal and rubber again. Something had broken. Not him, though he ached. Armor?
Underneath him, the train’s roof exploded in, the metal door he was lying on letting out a tortured scream as it collapsed under him.
And he had to make another snap decision.
Flow with the fight.
Serperior’s coil snapped around the thug’s stomach like a lasso, and they both fell into the train car together.
“Korea! Busthan! That’th it--Thsavage! Oh, you’re very wanted.” Serperior whooped in sudden recognition. This. This was the moment. Redemption for Tokyo 5. A chance to prove he was more than a pretty face. A fight worth living for. Everything, all in this plummet.
Well. Not plummet. Swing. Serperior lashed the tip of his tail on a metal bar on the roof, turning their plummet into a pendulum-style-swing toward the side door of the cargo car. Even though he had a firm grasp around the thug’s middle, he didn’t trust the man’s strength--his arms were still free. Serperior used his bent, broken staff again--this time, to create an arm-bar, threading it in behind Savage’s shoulders to send him face-first at the side of the train car.
"Tell your friendsth to stay upstairsth, then!"
[[TL:DR Serpy’s surprised by Savage’s willingness to take a hit, and the staff gets bent into an “L” shape.
Serperior rolls with the kick, trusting his neck armor to keep him from choking, letting Savage bring him down while starting to wrap him with his lower coil. The kick still hits his jaw hard enough to turn it numb.
Finally, when the elbow-bomb rockets in, Serpy narrowly turns the otherwise rib-breaking hit into a glancing blow, twisting so it “only” cracks his chest armor, before it shatters a hole in the roof of the train, knocking a ceiling panel out so they both start to fall inside. He catches himself with his tail, and swings, holding Savage in a bone-cracking grapple, trying to slam the giant through the side wall of the train care with their combined momentum.
Current injuries: Staff is bent in half, jaw is heavily bruised/broken, chest armor is cracked and ribs are bruised]]

(ooc: since everyone’s positions on the train was left unclear i’ll divvy you guys up along the following line: for ease of RP: the cat that Tyson unlatched was the last one and no one was on it: the remains on the second-to-last car. Serpy and Savage are wrestling inside the third-to-last car, while Anastasia and Toma are facing off on top of the third-to-last car. Jerry is going up the train and currently in the fourth-to-last car, setting things on fire) With a metallic clang, the last car separated from the rest of the train, Tyson remaining on the second-to-last car -- in a prime position to witness the spectacle that was about to unfold. “Blacktooth, good job on the decoupl-- wait, what’s th-- BLACKTOOTH, WATCH OUT! GET TO THE NEXT CAR, NOW!”
Way over from where the boat was a container had been flung, on a direct collision course with what was now the last car. Thanks to the early warning, the hero would likely have just enough time to jump to the next car before the projectile crashed, rocking the entire train. Metal creaked and screamed: the car would be torn and bent, should no one intervene, and with an horrible screech the engine would keep dragging it along, all bent out of shape and broken, sending vibrations up the entire train.
“Blacktooth, status report! You alright mate?” Formality was making its way out of the lieutenant’s voice. “This shit came from the boat, fighting’s been heavy there too. We’re on our way to recover the car you detached. Vega, we’ve recovered the pilot, helluva nice job there bud. The train is set to go through the docks for a while still, but we’re getting report that the routing station is booby trapped, we can’t redirect it. Don’t worry about that for now, we got time. Focus on putting down those villains, now! We’ll take care of the rest!”
Just as he finished talking however, another explosion resounded -- this time coming from a ways up the train, on the fourth-to-last car. “Goddamn, what now?!” What now was easy enough to explain: one of the villains had decided to ignore the heroes coming up the train to arrest them to make his way up there himself setting random fires inside the train. The train that was full of their merchandise. Merchandise which included, well, explosives, explosives that Savage had specifically bought. The train rocked and rumbled some more.
“We got visual on the explosion. It wasn’t none too severe, but it blew the roof of the fourth car… I see that bird asshole in here, looks like he got singed himself. One of you get to him, quick! This motherfucker’s dangerous!” tl;dr: -Tyson successfully detaches the last car -container on a collision course with the second to last, on which Tyson is. he has the time to jump to the next car (the third car) thanks to Yamaguchi’s radio warning, or try something else if he feels up to it! -serperior and savage wrestling inside the third car -anastasia and Vega facing off on top of the same car -explosion on the fourth car, where Jerry is. the car is not destroyed but the roof is blown off: that wasn’t where Savage’s extensive cargo of explosives was stored, but there were still some there. Jerry, consider yourself hit by a D-rank explosion -- apologies, but it was stated from the beginning there were explosives on the train and that it is the cargo you guys are trying to steal, so i cant let setting random fires go unpunished. with your C-rqnk durqbility, you’re still very much in the fight tho

There was little more satisfying for a eccentric bird than the pure adrenaline provided by a good old fashioned fire. But for a fire, their life seemed ever fleeting, a ravenous existence fueled by its cravings, destroying everything within its path until its entire world is empty, leading it to a cold, lonely death. There were only two outcomes for a fire, death or continued destruction.
The bird’s face lit up, quite literally, as the latter found itself towards him as the train cart seemed to burst further into flames. The entire rooftop seemed to blow, the small bird cackling as he bathed in the explosion around him. It was child’s play, yet a convenient revelation to how vital a role he played in the negotiations. The train itself was a literal powder keg, a metal sausage filled to the brim with earth shattering explosives. A single flaming feather was all it’d take to cause a chain reaction, as there were no doubt more intense fireworks further up the train.
But on the brightside, his explosion seemed to at least give him a bit of nightlight, the topless cart providing a wonderful look into the fights ongoing. It seemed the cart right next to his had a brawl right on top, involving one of their own. Well, one of Savage’s own, the bird not having too much opportunity to converse with the dame the villain had been routinely boinking. Jumping to the top of the nearby cart, he’d announce his presence with a trademark flame, seemingly setting up for an opportune 2 on 1 situation. However instead of attacking, he’d simply punch a fist sized hole into the roof, feeling it’d be best to use the opportunity to taunt.
”Alright cocksuckers, let that explosion be a warning.” Jerry would announce, bile dripping from each word his beak spewed. ”One wrong move, and I blow every dumb mother fucker here to smithereens. The whole train’s full of this shit, and I ain’t above wasting a load to wipe some shitstain hero out of existence. Now how about you fuck off and leave the professionals to their prize, huh?”
•Jerry is excited he blew shit up •jumps to the nearby cart with curve and bust •instead of fighting makes a threat to blow everyone up if the heroes don’t just fuck off

Tyson dived forward, rolling on the roof of the next cart as the projectile hit the train. It exploded a little, sending some spalling and shrapnel his way. Thankfully, he was wearing a flack jacket under the actual jacket. Some things nicked his shoulders, but he was otherwise fine. The whole train rocked back and forth, it was a miracle it did not derail.
"Delta 5-7, I'm hit I'm hit, over!" Tyson replied, yanking off a small steel wire from his shoulder and rumaging in his pocket. "It's just a scrape wound, I'm still in it. The cart isn't though. I see fire possibly some more sparks. I'm decoupling it before it goes off, over!"
The fluffy hero pulled out a napkin from his pocket and tied it to his shoulder to stop the bleeding. The thing stung, but he could still very much move around. He had no time to lose. Quickly forcing himself to stand on his feet again, Tyson looked over to the damage, approaching the end of the train. The connector had been twisted, the only way to separate the carts was to blow them apart.
"Delta 5-7, I'm decoupling the damaged cart before it sends this whole train bomb into the heavens with us on it. Are we sure we need to keep these? It'd be easier if we could send this stupid thing into the water when we pass by the docks, over."
Tyson created a small , golf ball sized sphere of his coal and dropped it onto the connector beams, the whole thing ignited in a snap of his fingers and pushed out a bright yellow flame as the wolf made sure to regulate the explosion more into somewhat of a thermite charge insted of his usual TNT. It would be more than enough to eat through the mangled weak metal and break off the hit cart.
-Tyson avoids the barrel, is scuffed on the shoulder by spalling and stuff. -Tyson proceeds to use his quirk to break off the damaged cart before it derails the train. -Tyson asks if it's possible to throw the train in the water when it will eventually pass by the docks.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | The red bird man exploded onto the scene and started his threats. The initial explosion and ruffled Toma's hair and the heat washed over his face, but he kept his courage and remained unfazed. The bird punched the roof of their train and started throwing around threats like a madman who thought himself invincible and the girl he was originally facing followed up with a few threats of her own, both physical and vocal.
"You think I'm scared?" He responded with venom in his voice. The woman had given him time, time he needed to make sure his quirk was working at its maximum, as she fired a warning shot of molten spit at him. "Two on one sounds like you might actually have a chance."
"Morons like you always make the same mistakes." The cocktail of anger and disgust inside him was full to burst. He already had his hand raised towards the woman so he decided he would deal with her first. "You forget your not the only ones who brought big guns to the fight"
Toma let go. He had coalesced as much energy as he safely could and now he let it fly loose towards the woman. A massive bolt of brilliant light and heat leapt from his hand like a spear made from a star and barreled it's way towards her. It singed his skin painfully but he didnt let it stall him. Instead he turned his attention towards the bird and rushed him.
(Toma is tired of their shit talk. Toma fires a full powered [C-rank] blast at Anastasia before turning to rush Jerry)

Everything might seem to be going quite fast. The now-last cart was hit by something that came from the ships and therefore derailed and seemed to drag the train in the wrong way down. It wobbled, it might tilt the previous third to last cart with it. The connection between the carts was difficult to see as it was tilted and making the connection almost impossible to reach. The sparks that showed came from the wheels being wrong on the train tracks and it definitely needed to be stopped before it would put the whole cart on fire including new explosions.
"Yes, get it going." The Lieutenant could not speak loud enough in the radio for Blacktooth to hear, but he tried to keep his composure, which wasn't actually that difficult. He had seen many things and it reminded him of the situation of before. He needed his nerves of steel, whether he liked it or not. "Blacktooth, we need to make sure that the-" But the connection died, what the hell? Why could he not talk into this? What was going on? He had to tell him to do it carefully before the other boxes would blow up, surely the pro-hero knew that but he also needed him to move past the others, the fire and explosions in the first cart were very dangerous, though was it smart to send a coal covered person there? Possibly not, did the Lieutenant had any other options: not really. He had to keep his fingers crossed and barked at one of the others if their radio did work. They had the pilot, they had the connections but he could not say anything, he yelled their names to see if everything was okay, he had to respond to the hit that Blacktooth got, asking what he needed and how bad it was. He needed a medic to be prepared and they had to catch up with the train now, which wasn't the easiest job at the docks. He instructed some men to get the last cart and the newly detached one as Blacktooth seemed to have managed to get rid of it. One matter less, he heard the static over the radio but he heard no words. "Get me closer to the train, I have to see how bad it is and we have to get the contact back." He ordered those around him, stepped into the car that they had ready, there was no time to waste.
The weapons, the attributes in there, the Lieutenant had his orders to keep them for as far as possible and he wondered indeed, should they drop them in the water. But that was no option, he had to make decisions and he had to make them now. With no one on the scene to control the train, the speed was getting faster and faster, it made a bump and the train kept on rolling. It had to switch to the right lane but no one in the front of it could request it or fix it and thus the train kept on going. Instead of taking the right route which would go around the docks and get out of the system back into Shinagawa, it went to the left. The left, however, would eventually stop. It was the parking space for the trains when they were not necessary, the stops of unloading and cleaning the ones in use that brought the big cargo. Where they would be fixed but at this hour and for this job no one was there, as it had never been anyone's attention. Could the Lieutenant's luck be any worse that the switch was on this particular part, yes! The bridge where the trains would go into the right station was simply going for the worst dead end and the man trying to keep his composure kept on yelling in the stupid radio. But static, something was blocking his static, maybe it was the electricity in the air, maybe it was something else, he did not know and he did not care. "If you do not hurry with that thing, I will throw you out and drive myself." He answered looking at the man at his side, he had to focus on the radio but nothing was working and it made him furious.
"Blacktooth!" He yelled into that thing, "Vega?", "Snake! Come on for god's sake answer. Get off! That thing will explode and collide!" He would just keep on yelling the commands to get off, screw the word over, nothing was as important but to get off. The fires might be closer to the engines of the locomotive, the spluttering of fire everything would be horrible if they did not get off! "Boys! I command you to get off, now!" He shook the radio he tried again, missing that the static died as for the fourth time he yelled in that thing, "Get off! The train will explode." Screw the wares, they needed safety measures first. The civilians were dead or already gone from the location, no one was at the train bridge, that worked well, but they should get off!
The Lieutenant held his hand as the car came to a slipping end and he stared at the train that collided with the massive concrete wall and made an explosion that he could still feel on his face. That fire that was set in the first cart must have quite reached the locomotive and with the colliding into the wall the massive eruption of fire was only logical. "Well don't sit and wait, go find them." The patrol that had showed up shortly after his car, with their gas masks and suits only gave a firm nod and made up in teams to walk around the train and go and find the people that had been on it. Yoshitori could only wait for a response out there, was there anyone to be saved or even arrested? He rather hoped the first part and he would get out and slowly walk to the train, had they heard his message?
Hello, this was the best I could do.

The jolt of the train switching tracks knocked Serperior free from the giant he was grappling with. The whole world spun for a moment--sky, metal compartment, giant, sky again--he lost which way was up or down, stomach lurching hideously. White heat flared in his shoulder as he slammed against the inside of the compartment. He pulled up his tail--just in time--letting himself flop into the next bone-rattling impact.
Like a reed. Bend, but not break.
Boy, did he bend. He bounced off the next impact, letting himself fall out the side of the train, back into air. Once again, the train spun past him, a dizzying, terrible, beautiful view of the locomotive and the harbor. It was the closest thing to flight he’d ever felt. But--something was wrong.
Why was the other side of the depot so close again?
Something had gone HORRIBLY wrong. They were going to crash.
A moment later, the panicked chatter of the police crackled over his headset.
“B--*skertch*--ake--*hssssssh*--*plod*--*et off--”
What?
Oh.
They were going to crash AND explode.
He’d always known he was going to die spectacularly.
No. Stupid thought.
But still, there was a moment of hesitation--
Savage; my arrest, is still in that car--If there are any civilians aboard, they’re popcorn--
He reached out with his tail to grab the train, he still had time.
Not coming back a failure--Fire reminds me of--All that time recovering, again--Savage killed them the moment you boarded, nothing to save--If you die, there are no more chances.
Mikhail didn’t know what thought won. This was supposed to be his big redemption story. Save the hostages. Arrest the villains. Cancel out Tokyo 5.
Something made him pull his tail back.
He coiled himself into a ball, and hit the ground.
The world went red. For a moment, pain exploded across his entire body, and then...it just stopped.
Just like the car crash.
Mikhail was vaguely aware of himself rolling across the ground, a limp ball of scales, armor, and skin, like a hilariously out-of-place tumbleweed escaped from the set of a corny western. Head-tail-head-tail-head-tail, stomach doing flips, but everything hazy, distant, like it was happening to someone else.
Then, bump!
He felt himself roll to a stop--
A distant part of Mikky was pleasently surprised he hadn’t passed out. He was lying against a...crate?
He cracked open an eye, peering at the train, looking to see if anyone else popped out.
“Mikky shere. I’m alive.” He muttered, voice soft, crackly. He didn’t even know if the microphone still worked. His green hero outfit was slowly turning brown with something wet. Sludge. Mud. Drip, drip. Was it raining? “ThSavage last thseen in the car. Vega, Blacktootsh, hope you’re okay.”
“I’m gonna take five, go back to my trailer for some water.”
A big, cheery, press-ready smile spread across his muddy, bruised, bloody face, as he stared up at the sky. He was alive.
