Some bears were less troublesome than others, it would seem. The combined efforts of him and Katsumi had been enough to drive the beast back off without anyone getting hurt, bear included, and that was a reasonable achievement! No bear harm this time! With the coast clear, his attention turned from the place the bear'd vanished from sight back to the teacher, no longer a sword, assuming he'd come around with some instruction as whether or not to turn back. Instead, his genuine compliments! Graham feigned bashfulness as he waved it off with a lighthearted scoff, but he appreciated it to the depths of his being.
Whatever the case, as they all made their way back to the accident scene, a familiar figure rolled up. Though, the one rolling her up he didn't know, and the noticeably downtrodden look on her face got him a tiny bit worried, though as she explained the problem it became clear that at least she was fine. It still wasn't a pleasant surprise to hear two baby animals had been crushed, which ought to have caused the attack they'd dealt with. But, the most Graham could do was smile a smile rightfully as sad as hers. It was good to know she'd be in trustworthy hands, at least. He shot a quick nod to the unit of a man towering over them, before speaking: "Glad to hear it, now get going to your mum! She's bound to be worried sick!" As he waved her off, satisfied with a job well done, a thought popped into his head. He should ring his mum. They hadn't had a talk in, how many months now? A few more than he'd been in Japan. The girl in the wheelchair had managed a way into his head, though, with the quirker family idea.
Well, all that could wait until after they'd had their pizza. It wasn't a favoured delicacy of his exactly, but a moment to rest and bond over finger food with his classmates couldn't hurt any of them. Not to mention, he still didn't appreciate the thought they might think of him as some sort of animal-abusing monster, and if they had a proper talk he might be able to apologise for his irrational behaviour. Looking back, however, he'd still say he had a net positive amount of good done today.
