Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She had been in Nakano last week but that did not mean that the whole issue came to an end and she was now ask by the police force to have a look into one of the unsafe zones for medical help. They could not move the people, because it would be dangerous but they were in a safe house, or well that was the word for it, it did not seem to be safe. She was also approached by Emi Ryouko Tachibana, right? That was her name. If she could come along on a trip with her as a pro-hero. She had said sure but at the moment, she was waiting for the girl and her new partner in crime G, to meet up with her. She looked at the clock that she could see from the bench where she was sitting on, just around the corner from the police station. Next to her sat Miyako, she already did not remember the woman her surname, but she was the spokesperson or something at the station and would bring them to the location and keep an eye on the situation with Nimue together. Which meant that she had to usher to G to not use his quirk until absolutely necessary, she wasn't sure if Miyako would care but she did not want to get the risk of him being busted for vigilante work.
A few minutes past twelve in the afternoon, around the corner of the police station with Miyako was boring. The blonde next to her barely said a thing, she kept looking at her own watch and the notes that she held in her hand, what paperwork to be prepared? She wasn't sure what to think about it but it would probably not take too long before the other two would show up, at least this was a safe place on the map of Nakano. She would have to tell Emi to stay close to her, she wasn't convinced this was a good idea but when she discussed it with Miyako, the police woman seemed to be hyped for the best idea, what was she just in love with her picture in front of the camera or was it a sort of propaganda for the police? She did not want to think bad about the whole situation from Keishicho but it felt weird.
"How far is it to the safe house?" She asked Miyako while waiting, it was better to get a bit of information anyway, should she activate her quirk while walking, she would be able to protect Emi in that case. The girl probably did not want an overprotective teacher with her though. She was surprised she was asked but also a little bit flattered, she tried very hard to do her best.
"Hm about twenty minutes, it will be the short route, that's another reason why I am coming along, the alleys are probably better than the main streets."
That only convinced the teacher that this was not a good idea but G was there too and protecting the innocent was important and if they asked for a medic, she would have to go there anyway.

It was a long day for the friendly neighbourhood Vigilante. Prior to coming to Nakano today, G dealt with another part of Tokyo with his Vigilante patrolling and crime fighting. Safe to say, when coming to Nakano, he wasnt ready to use his Quirk for fighting. Nor did he have time to change clothes, thus prior to coming to Nakano, he just freshened up and took off his jacket. He's coming as a civillian, even if he is a bit lazy with his outfit change When he eventually came to Nakano and found Nimue, he saw her with some other girl. He had no idea who he was, nor how to approach this. So he was catious as he walked up to Nimue "Hello there, ladies. How are you?" he asked, calling them ladies thus avoiding to call Nimue by her name and hero name, because he did not know how to adress her. Why did he come, he did not know. He hoped he would get details now. He wondered what was gonna happen. Actually why wonder when you can just ask "So, are we waiting for someone else? What are we doing?"After which he just waited for an answer

[nospaces] [attr="class","wassup1dangerhead"] [attr="class","wassup1dangerbody"] [attr="class","wassup1dangericon"] [attr="class","wassup1dangertxt"] Emi was beginning to realise that the report club had its perks. An excuse to experiment with new film styles without putting her own brand at risk. A means to broadcast her messages to all of UA. And, on occasion, an excuse to curry some favour with the school’s staff. It was (mostly) the latter, as she understood it, that had put her on her current path: behind the barriers of Nakano, investigating on behalf of her team. The rules, though unspoken, were easily understood. Stay in her teacher’s line of sight or within three arms’ lengths at all times. Follow any and all instructions from her. Abstain from quirk usage beyond immediate self-defence. Do not intervene in any conflict. Breaking any of those would mean an immediate end to her adventure, and probable grounds for her expulsion. If she could stick to them, she’d have what most students could only dream of – a new perspective on the life of a pro hero. For that, she’d keep quiet about needing a babysitter.[break][break]
She’d come as close as her wardrobe would allow to a stagehand’s uniform, designed to blend into the background. It would almost work, if they weren’t in broad daylight, or if not for her bright pink hair, or if the DSLR hanging from her neck made her anything but suspicious. Her ‘stealth’ could use some work, but hey, at least she was trying! In due time, she arrived at their meeting point. The gang was already there, though most of them were new faces. Nurse Nimue was the first get her greeting and a smile. “Hey Nakahara-sensei. Thanks again for the trip. I’m sure it’s going to be an interesting one.” Then the others. “And thank you both for having me. Emi Ryoko Tachibana, working with UA’s news team.” Her gaze settled on the man for a little longer than necessary. Much too old to be a student, and not familiar enough to be a teacher, but his face looked familiar anyway. Hopefully a bit more time would ring a bell. “I won’t pretend that I know these parts of town well, so I hope you don’t mind leading the way. I’ll be spending most of the day grabbing pictures and footage, so don’t mind me much.”

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse They were easy to spot, the mint coloured hair of Nimue dancing on the soft breeze and the appointment meeting was at the police station, if you came from the safer spots and the metro station, you would see them anyway. G was the first of the two to arrive and she wasn't sure what to say to Emi and Miyako, she had not considered words at all, but she would see what words her brain could come up with, she was sure she was worrying about too many things at the wrong time. She jumped up, maybe a bit too nervous, when G arrived. Ah she should introduce him to Miyako but before she could do that, his second question caught her off guard as she thought she told him that, "Yes, we are waiting on a student of mine." So she did not introduce the two just yet, she looked at Miyako who did not say anything nor stand up but instead of looking at her watch, she seemed to be fidgeting with her hair and the notes that she was holding, thank god not much later Emi showed up.
She smiled at Emi who seemed to take a bit of her nerves away as well as make them worse, but the girl could not help that, it was her own wondering how much of a dumb plan this was. They were only going to look at the wounded at a safe house, so it should be fine as long as they did not bump into any of the yakuza or the railway union that would not let them through or something. Which was also why Miyako was with them. The woman now stood up as Emi had arrived and Nimue decided finally to introduce everyone to each other, hopefully to get any suspicious looks off faces. "Ag Tachibana-san, let me introduce you to Miyako-san, she is a spokesperson from the police and will bring us to the safe house, after all I am not familiar with Nakano myself." She had been here before finding the children but thank god she had a map with her that day, "and this is G, he helps me as a eh sidekick." She had almost used the wrong word but had corrected herself well, "To see if Pro-hero life is something for him." Which was not exactly what the government knew and she felt a bit worried about that but she just put on her neutral facial expression and asked if everyone was ready to go and Miyako nodded when everyone was and pointed to the direction where they would be walking.
"Please keep in mind that we are in well dangerous territory, we take the back allies and try to not attract much attention."
Nimue suddenly wondered what the woman her quirk was if she had one an simply nodded, she asked G to walk first so she could walk with Emi as they walked two by two into one of the alleys, she would be totally lost if it was not for Miyako. It would take indeed about twenty minutes, as long as nothing bad happened on the way there. She wondered if she should point out the rules for this trip again to Emi, but as she seemed to be a responsible young lady, the nurse refrained from doing so.

G didnt want to admit it out loud, but yes Nimue did explain things to him, problem is that: a) He is a forgetful person sometimes; and b) when one uses big words, he just nods and pretends to understand what you say, even if he has no clue what you're saying. And then there's c) all of the above. It could be either of those moments that happen and made G a bit... clueless.
Nimue said that they are waiting on a student of hers. G nodded "Ok", that was neat, so another UA boyo. And not much later, the student showed up. It wasnt a boyo. Thank God. BUuuuuUUuuut, it was a vaguely familiar face, G didnt know why. That is, until he heard her speak, and then it all clicked. She introduced herself as Emi Ryoko Tachibana. Welp, time for him to introduced himself "Heey, I know you! You're that uTuber! Pleased to meet'cha! You can call me G. I doubt you remember me, but I made a video reply for your video. I'd tell you how that went, but we have some work to do"
Even Nimue made a short introduction for him. Ah, she said he was her sidekick. Man, that really made him wish he didnt leave his jacket at home. He wasnt cold, but he just liked it.
The woman that was introduced as Miyako the spokesperson well... spoke! It was a friendly reminder that this was dangerous territory. So they walked into a like a 2 by 2 formation. Miyako with G and Emi with Nimue. They walked into one of the alleys.

The gang had arrived. The Nurse needed no introduction. Their escort, on the other hand, was a mild surprise. Did pro heroes still the police to stand by their side, or was Nakano so volatile that they needed a guide to navigate and negotiate effectively? Either way, it meant there were two more people than she was expecting. The other’s face rang a bell, but it wasn’t until he gave her the pieces that her eyes widened. “…You’re the ukulele guy.” Metal ukulele, if she had remembered right. Who was she kidding – there was no forgetting the bizarre rabbithole that was a very… niche genre. [break][break]
Oh yeah. And the video stuff. “I’d never forget somebody willing to help. It just… took me a second.” Another smile formed, this one leaning towards sheepish. “I don’t think I ever thanked you for that. I spoke to the students, but you probably missed that one. So, thanks. Knowledge is power, but to give people knowledge, we need awareness. Which is why I’m here.” [break][break]
They set off, and she brought her camera to her face. As expected of a (self-)trained photographer, it took mere seconds for her to adjust the settings and go to town, documenting the state of the alleyways. As per Miyako’s instructions, she was careful to put the camera down whenever they passed by another, and not just so they lost their chance to swipe it out of her hands. It gave her a bit more time to take in the scenery, and as such, it didn’t take long for her displeasure to show. A more idealistic figure would assume it came from the condition Nakano’s denizens were expected to live in… Which was only half true. Even in her ‘low-key’ attire, the materials and their freshness spoke of her affluence. The tight, dark passages were, to put it lightly, not her natural habitat. It showed, too. She was careful not to touch anything, constantly checking her feet in case she stepped on a used needle or dirty puddle, regardless of whether or not they passed any on their journey. [break][break]
Besides that, her teacher’s words had already put her mind to work, and it didn’t take long for her to voice her thoughts. “I know it’s your job to guide students to being a pro, but I didn’t know you helped adults too.” Her eyes strayed from the lens, just for a moment. “Not that I’ve got a problem with that. When the alternative is letting people run out to play vigilante, it’s good for you to take the initiative.”

Post by Nimue Nakahara on May 26, 2019 13:42:06 GMT -4
Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse Nimue looked surprised at Emi and G, especially G's enthusiasm, she wasn't someone that was often on uTube so it was a bit difficult for her to understand, not that she had not heard about the things Emi did, the vlogs, because that was a part of why she was here too, she looked shortly at Miyako but the blonde simply frowned and Nimue let it go. To be honest, she knew G now quite well enough and to hear him being introduced or recognize as the ukelele guy, it almost made her chuckle but she tried to stay and be professional with Miyako on her side as well as for Emi. She did not want to show her insecure and stupid side today. Well at least it seems that the two of them were okay with the other around, that made it rather easy, easier than Nimue had expected. So she could only stand around with a sheepish smile on her lips waiting for them to be done. She did not know how to talk to Miyako as she had tried before the two arrived and the blonde just had given her short and static answers and that was about it, not the best talking partner to be honest.
Nimue simply followed Miyako and G as the two walked in front of her and made sure Emi was okay, as she was careful with her camera, which was something Nimue appreciated and she tried not to smile about noticing how Emi sometimes tiptoed to avoid something dirty on the ground. The state of Nakano was weird, she had not noticed it so much when G and she were trying to find that boy and the other kids but right now she did not have to rush through the alleys to go on. She was wearing her red With Doctor outfit though but at the moment the hood wasn't covering her mint coloured hair, albeit it was put up in a ponytail so she could make sure that it would not obstruct her face and become a pain. While brushing a forgotten piece of hair out of her face, she turned to look with a questioned look at Emi as she spoke to her. "Oh, yes well it's more of a, hm.. friend thing than actually teaching someone." She smiled though openly to Emi. "I met G as an instructor for martial arts." More or less. "And considering a few things I thought it might be good if he wanted to become a pro-hero, but that means that I would have to show him how it is, being a pro-hero can sometimes be quite tough, I mean I am lucky that my active duty is mostly the school but I try to help out when I can." Albeit that was previously mostly focused on the research she had done. But Emi indeed understood, her eyes looked shortly at G, yes she did not like the idea of vigilante stuff, she did not blame the people with the government but she also still thought it was not the right thing to do. "As the job of pro-hero is still new, a lot of adults might consider but not know enough, I simply offered a few days to follow what I do." She nodded more to herself, she remembered how she had stuttered the word sidekick to the officer because she had not actually asked the government if it was possible, albeit the police had not complained about G's help with the fire. But she had ushered him to not use Goliath now unless Emi was in danger or he himself. She would make sure those were the most important parts.
She wondered if Emi had more questions and simply mentioned; "If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask." She simply had to continue walking for twenty minutes anyway. When they did so and the walk ended at the end of an alley that they had disappeared in about six minutes ago, it seemed that they had reached the end of the area and the warehouse or well that's what the safehouse really was, was simply standing there at the end of a small plaza. Miyako looked around before asking them to hurry out of the alley to cross the plaza and when they reached the safehouse, the woman knocked a specific pattern on the door so one of her colleagues would open up. Nimue wondered to whom all these safe measure were, the yakuza? The railway union? She did not know and at the moment she was only worried what she would see. Before the door opened Miyako turned to the three of them.
"It's okay to film, I informed the people beforehand that it was a possibility, they know a pro-hero is coming." Oh wonderful smart, Nimue wasn't sure if she liked this, but she did not say a thing and kept her eyes on Miyako. "Apart from that, I just want to warn you all that some of the victims and citizens are in a bad shape, they are waiting for doctor's that do not dare to go here and the hospital is too busy to have space for them to be moved or transported, we don't even dare to move some of them." It seemed that the woman was pleading in her strange way for Nimue to do something and the hero simply stared at her with a serious expression at her face.
"Open the door."

G smiled as Emi called him the ukulele guy. That meant she watched some of his vids, and in all honesty, he preffered to be recognized as that ukulele guy, rather then the Vigilante G. Speaking of which, he was happy to hear what Emi said and he wished they can discuss uTube together, but now was not the time "Ayy, any time. You were inspiring. I'd tell you more how that campaig went on my end, but now's not the time. We can talk about that later whenever you want. Just DM me on my uTube account" G said
After that they had to go. As he walked with Miyako, he heard Emi talk behind him. She didnt know Nimue helped adults too and how its cool otherwise people would be Vigilantes. G meanwhile was so glad he was walking infront of Nimue and Emi, because the two wouldnt be able to see his bashful expression. G continued to just listen in that conversation as they all walked, he didnt comment on a single thing.
Eventually they arrived to a destination. He let Nimue and Miyako handle this as he took the back seat now... metaphorically speaking. He observed the situation unfold.

There was a lot more to the ukelele metal man that met the eye, though Emi could have assumed that by virtue of him being a ukulele metal man. Nobody had that as their only point of interest, but a martial arts trainer turned potential crime fighter? “I think that’s a compliment, G-san. Good enough that even the pros are coming to you for help.” The camera mostly hid a cocky smile, but she knew enough to wipe it off her face once she lowered the device. [break][break]
Then came G’s comments. “Thanks. ‘Inspiring’ was what I was going for… among other things. I should try to do more of those sometime, so if you get any ideas, let me know. It might take me a bit to get through all the DMs, but I’ll see it eventually.” Another smile, this one lacking any of the former’s cheek. “If I think of anything to ask, I’ll let it out.” It wasn’t as if she often hesitated to ask questions. “Nothing’s coming to mind, though… Unless anybody else can think of something to fill the time.”[break][break]
If not, she passed the time surveying and capturing the state of the place. Half a dozen times, she caught herself just short of asking how people lived that way, in what she would consider a slum. Even she knew that would be rude, but that brought her no closer to understanding it. She’d save her questions for Boogle on the ride home. If there was no prompting from the others, they’d sneak their way to the safe house’s entrance. The warning of injuries fell on deaf ears. She was a UA student. Failed exercises, wayward projectiles, angsty students… They were the cause of many an injury, and she’d seen more than her fair share of them. Instead, it was the sight of the place that that planted a seed of concern in the back of her head. These people were holed up deep in Nakano. Why not closer to the safe zone, or hell, in the safe zone? Who were they hiding from and why?[break] …[break] She was overthinking things. It was a dangerous place, and they were new and minor injuries. Yeah, that made sense. Really, how bad could it be?

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She wasn't sure how to bring the conversation together, to be honest, she was afraid of breaking an invisible line and screwing up this prompt, this scary no mans land where she was having two worlds, her own teacher-pro-hero world and the one where she was simply showing a world of opportunity towards G as to make sure he would pick... well to be honest she did not know what he should pick. All she wanted was him to see both sides of the coin before flipping and hoping for an answer. She liked how Emi talked to him, they seemed to have had little contact in the past and that was a good contact, a good memory, it would be bad if that connection was already negative, but right she could just go on in the shadow world of what she had created. She should not think too much about it.
She shook her head when they talked and wondered if she had questions herself, she wanted to know why Emi contacted her but at she seemed to be the active teacher in Nakano, she had made the assumption that it was because of that. She also was a bit unsure about what she could ask and could not ask while Emi was filming, "What do you hope to achieve, with your filming? Informing the students through the news club?" She asked because as she was trying to upgrade her reputation more or less to be a bit above just healer, or to be accepted as a good healer, she wasn't sure why, maybe a bit of her own arrogance, maybe to impress someone or two... She did not want to think about it too long and thus continued to walk in silence.
Once arrived and demanding the door to be open, Miyako seemed to hesitate but knocked again, a different pattern and helped sliding the door open. The smell that came from inside was a combination of the smell of aseptic but also a faint smell of dirt and she did not want to think about it. It was dark in there and it took a few seconds before Nimue her eyes adjusted and accepted the little light that came from the windows that were high up on the walls. She followed Miyako inside and as soon as they were inside the door shut behind them and she looked over her shoulder to the few policemen there. She walked passed Miyako, the whole warehouse was one big room, she saw that there must be a wall at the end that might separate small offices but she did not know exactly what she saw, the whole room was filled with people on what looked like made up stretchers, some simply looked as if they had small wounds and fevers but as her eyes scanned further on she saw infections that needed to be taken care off and broken bones that seemed to have not the right sort of split and the sound that was made, it was horrible, she had never seen such thing like this, it looked medieval, it looked something that was a tragedy of the past and not something that should happen in 2073. "Why are there no doctors?" She almost snapped to Miyako who took a step back from the angry pro-hero. Nimue wasn't sure what she could all do, how far was her name known? Not that much but only one was enough? She surely heard it, whispering, Witch Doctor. Witch Doctor is a healer. They were saved. She looked back at G, not sure what to say and she felt nervous but she turned back and turned to the people and turned on her quirk, it was time to see how fast she could do the little bits to make it pleasant.
We have a lot to do Nkosi.

"Heh... yeah I guess" G said as he rubbed the back of his neck bashfully. He needed to keep the act as if he isnt a Vigilante. It was super awkward. The two also made some small talk when it came to vids, uTube and contacts. G just gave her a thumbs up. He was all for thet DM talk as now he didnt feel like chatting uTube stuff while they were out on a mission
He heard Nimue chime in and ask Emi something. A news club thing, he didnt pay much attention to it. After some walk they arrived to their destination, the door opened and boy did the smell hit hard. This was something G called the 'doctor and diseases smell', its just something the smell reminded him of. The place was dark and it took a bit for G to get used to this darkness. He followed Nimue who followed Miyako, and also glanced at Emi to see if she was holding herself up ok. Otherwise he mostly have Nimue get the spotlight and do her duty. G was there if she needed any help. He noticed Nimue looked back at him. G just smiled and gave her a thumbs up as to like reassure her that she got this. She swiftly turned to the people and used her Quirk. Meanwhile he crossed his arms and watched

[nospaces] [attr="class","wassup1dangerhead"] [attr="class","wassup1dangerbody"] [attr="class","wassup1dangericon"] [attr="class","wassup1dangertxt"]
A simple question, with what should have been a simple answer. Unfortunately for the adults, there were few things Emi knew how to run her mouth about better than her passion. “Mostly. News is, by definition, highlighting interesting events. I think that seeing a pro hero at work counts for that, especially for hero students, and doubly for a side of the job that they won’t get to see otherwise.” Indeed, that reasoning alone had been enough to get her past the cordon. [break][break]
“Besides that, it’ll make for good footage, in case I ever need to run damage control for pros. If we keep getting more attacks like Tokyo5, the public’ll start getting even more confused about the idea of hiring quirks for the law, or a… what was it? ‘School for child soldiers’, I think I read in one article. And if I- people don’t act quickly to counteract that, the other side wins.” She brought the lens up to her eye, snapping a shot of an overfilled waste bin. She already had a grimace on her face, but the distaste spread to her voice as she continued.[break][break]
“There’s a reason why the most powerful people in the world have media companies backing them, and not people with quirks. When you control the news, you start to control what people think about… Or what they don’t think about. It’s a lot easier for people to not care about us and our struggles when they barely see them, and the news doesn’t help much there.” She furrowed her brow for a second, stopping short of a cynical tirade. Her head whipped around towards G as she went on.[break][break]
“If a guy that can control fire uses his quirk to save a family, a few small websites might pick it up. Maybe it might hit the local news, but everybody will forget it in a day or two. Now, if that same guy used his quirk and killed them?” She let the question hang in the air, for she was sure they all knew how much they would hear about it. “If the world has its way, we’ll be seen as demons, and that’s not right. So, I… do what I can to fight back. When I’m not busy with everything else, anyway.” She’d missed a fair bit, of course, but few people were eager to reveal their selfish side. Her work would raise awareness, but if all went to plan, it would make her a superstar. People would love her, remember her, want to know her. At first, that had been all she’d cared about, back when she’d only had herself and her brand to worry about. Then she joined the school. Surrounded herself with other, real people. Watched the media and the military vilify her, and the people she’d started to care about. Watched terrorists try to turn the country against them-[break][break]
The camera covering her face made it hard to gauge her expression – and judging by how long she’d held it up, that might have been the point. A few seconds later, she lowered her gear, seemingly calm, and continued:[break][break]
“And personally… I want to be informed. In about two years this’ll be part of my job too. I want to know what I’m getting into, so working on that while I’m here is a nice bonus.” She quickly hopped around a dark puddle, a quick reminder that she didn’t have to like everything she saw. [break][break]
How bad could it have been? She mentally kicked herself as soon as the door open, the smell of phenol rushing out to greet the visitors. Unmistakable and unpleasant, but she hadn’t come that far to have a stench scare her off. She stepped in, camera at the ready… And made it all of four steps before she slowed to a halt. Before her lay more people than she could easily count, none of them there by choice. Most of them were bedridden, if she was generous enough to call their meshes of cloth and wood beds. She could barely make out their words (most of them weren’t speaking so much as whimpering or writing), but amongst them she heard prayers, pleas with some invisible force, whispers of help arriving.[break][break]
The smell, she could handle, if that was the only problem. The groans of the wounded, pitiful cries weaving into a symphony of suffering… She could’ve have tuned it out, eventually. The sight of actual human beings, denied basic care, plagued by festered wounds, limbs bent at unnatural angles, eyes begging for the pain to end, for some, however brief, reprieve from it all…[break][break]
It took a lot to keep Emi silent if there was something worth discussing, so the warehouse held the dubious honour of accomplishing that. She would have been motionless, but the tremors set in soon after she’d stopped, starting at her hands and spreading up her arms. She hadn’t noticed the camera slipping out of her grip; only the strap around her neck stopped it from smashing against the ground. Its pull dragged her out of her thoughts, back into reality. Enough to see the nurse, angry but undeterred, getting to work without a second thought. She turned to the rest of their party (not realising that her wide eyes betrayed her thoughts), to see that they were just as useful as she was. It should have been a comforting thought, but…[break][break]
There was nothing to take comfort in there.

Post by Nimue Nakahara on Jun 3, 2019 12:56:59 GMT -4
Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse As she had asked Emi if this was for the news club or if there was more than meets the eye, she was surprised by her careful thought answer. She actually did not care so much about her reputation, that was a thing however that seemed to be in stark contrast minutes later, it was nice that the word spread about her went around quickly, albeit it was a bad thing when there were so many people waiting for a doctor or a healer and Nimue wasn't sure if it was good that she was alone. However, for now Nimue wasn't aware of that and the whole conversation about why Emi was doing it, was more interesting. Damage control, that's what she called it. She wasn't sure if she would ever need damage control, people did not seem to know her, care about her and so on and that totally fine, she focused on the things behind the scenes after all. The nurse however nodded, yes, school for child soldiers, she had read it too. "Yes, hopefully that attitude changes." But how long it would take, the mint haired woman had no idea.
It was a shame, that's what she thought that kids her age, Emi's age, had to consider that, that they had to be afraid of their quirk use in public, yes she understood, yes she heard stories and understood why the government was afraid of vigilantes and the training but instead of giving people a fair chance, instead of helping along it only made it worse, as Emi turned her eyes to G, so did Nimue. The nurse wondering what he thought about the whole process of turning a pro-hero, did he want that? Would she understand if he did not? Her eyes turned back to Emi, wondering what the girl thought for herself as she wasn't the best at reading expressions or if she did, it was highly possible that she read too much into it. "It is good to learn when you can." She only mused out loud, not sure to say anything about the rest, she did agree, but to be honest, she rather did not think about it, the dark thoughts was something she always avoided, trying to find the silver lining into it. Yuuei should be glad with someone as motivated as Emi to show the positive side of quirkers, to point out that they were trying to do the right thing instead of the villains around. She did not want to think about too much that she had seen or that she wondered about.
Thunder. The Painter. Bucket.
That were her thoughts before the door opened, before she snapped at Miyako and the other officers, before she looked at G for mental support. What the hell should she do? Witch Doctor. It was as if her ears were ringing with the sound of it and for a second, she felt like a child again. Like her parents watch her with the powers that developed when she was four, she could fought off infections, she could heal and people from other tribes around hers and around Cape Town came to see her. They talked words in Afrikaans, Zulu and Xhosa that she did not understand, her father raised her in English, Xhosa was a second language but not well known as the other and she felt watched, scared and misunderstanding. People here went to try and sit up straight, those that could walk hopped towards her but no one came close as if she was something weird, something rare that they wanted but yet did not dare to believe was there or to catch. What should she do?
She finally snapped out of it, rather soon than many others might. This would not be her first rodeo and unfortunately not her last, it might be her biggest but for a twenty-four year old, the world was her oyster and just starting. "Right, I want you to tell me where the biggest infected people are, we will work speedy and sloppy but good. I need clean bandages. I need clean gauze." She turned to look at Miyako who seemed a bit scared of her determination but she nodded. She pulled one of her officer colleagues with her, "G, could you please get some clean bandages for me with him?" The nurse turned to her friend, "I need you to help me at assisting. If you are okay with that?" She would not stop until they would reach the end of it. Her quirk now active, which meant that she would have to work hard and quick, she only had two hands. She basically jumped into the group on her right, softly talking, asking what hurt, what happened and telling little ice breakers to make everyone around her happy to see her, happy to be helped and relatively speaking: to be okay. She touched around wounds, cleaned them with a little pump with clean water that she took from her own kit. Miyako had the first clean bandage, she had much herself but the more she could use from the warehouse, the better for now. She would clean wounds. She would make splits, try to heal the most bad sides of broken bones till the point that it would not take months to be healed anymore but weeks. She worked as it seemed tirelessly but if either G or Emi paid close attention to her, they could see her smile faltering when no one watched her, the little damp look on her forehead and a sort of fire of anger in her eyes, she did not accept this but the people here could not help that, so she had no other choice but to continue.

G frowned when he saw the sight before him. This was a bunch of heal-y sorta stuff. Something he was NOT good with. He was good at hurting people, not healing them. He was a fighter, but this.... "I want you to tell me where the biggest infected people are" he heard Nimue say to Miyako. Yeah... infected people... no bueno.
He then heard Nimue call for him and ask him if he could get some bandages with her cop friend "Yeah, sure" G said, not sounding very confident in himself. Alone with a cop guy, surrounded by injured and sickly people. G was out of his safe zone. G shrugged to the cop and just went to get some clean bandages. He went with the cop and mostly relied on the cop to help him around finding items.
He got the bandages, and went back to Nimue and handed the item to her "Is this fetch quest done? I gave you the bandage. Lemme finish this level and give me exp so I can be done" G thought to himself, mentally verbalizing this experience as a game dungeon. As a tedious game dungeon. It was a way to hide his insecurity and nervousness in this... not safe zone
G watched Nimue do medical medicine stuff. She had a certain smile on her... which was kinda faltering, that didnt help G at all and his mood. What does he do? He was a bit too scared to talk and ask her if he can help. He was afraid of making her lose focus

'Deep breaths. Slowly. Don’t let them see that you’re freaking out, because you’re not. You’re just… unnerved. Rattled. Shaky. Disturbed. Confused, worried, speechless, stunned distressedpanickingoverwhelmedlost-'[break][break]
It wasn’t all that surprising that the girl’s state was lost on the others. If she had been thinking straight, even she would have thought it selfish, to think they would pay her any mind when there was so much more to tend to. In a twisted way, it had its upsides; her pride wouldn’t have allowed her to be seen as vulnerable without a mental dressing down after. On the other hand, it meant she had to process the scene in front of her alone, and fast. She had a job to do, even if it felt so much less helpful than tending to the wounded. So many wounded. Too many.[break][break]
She shut her eyes. Not that it helped much – she’d long since averted her gaze from the people in favour of the floor. A few extra seconds were stolen as she attempted to compose herself. She only partially succeeded, but it would have to do for the time being. As long as she was left to her own devices in the warehouse, anything better than that was a pipe dream. Careful hands brought the camera back over her face in a half-hearted attempt to focus. The device might have hidden most of her face, but if anybody bothered to look her way, there was plenty to betray her thoughts. The silence, her tense hands, the slow steps she took as she began to move further in, and the distance she kept from the building’s residents. But, at the very least, she was moving and occasionally getting a shot. That had to be a step in the right direction.
