Spending 2 of Chimera 's EP to give Byeol-Su Mae a 1500XP booster pack. From here she has 1550. Ability Gain + Upgrade<Needle in a Bug>
Upgrading From:
New Ability (F), Upgraded to E (-300 XP)
Upgrading to: Type: Body Enchantment (Weapon) Rank: E Effect: Through training, Byeol-Su is capable of sharpening the "flesh" of her fingers to needle-sharp points, capable of stabbing through stone and denting soft metal. While the practicality of this is to make incisions for her host without them needing a knife, this can also be used as a close-range weapon to anyone trying to attack her. Watch your eyes.

-300 XP = 1250 Quirk Rank-Up x2<Symbiote>
Upgrading From: Type: Mutation
Rank: E
To save space, a summarize: For four posts, Byeol-Su is capable of melding herself with another character. While melded with Byeol-Su, the host does not feel any physical pain equal to or less than Symbiote's ranking (E). This negates Exhaustion, Burn, and Fever. That said, the host still takes damage and the wounds do not heal/regenerate while hosting, and all the while Byeol-Su is taking the pain of the injuries onto herself. If her host is knocked out or dies, Byeol-Su is forcefully ejected.
Upgrading to: Type: Same thing Rank: C Effect:
- For six (6) posts, Byeol-Su is capable of melding herself with another character. This can only be done through an open wound large than 5cm (2"). The process of entering a person takes one post (to touch the wound and to enter the body itself) and can be interrupted simply by pulling the wound away from her, or by Byeol-Su taking any damage during the process. After six posts she is ejected from her host, and requires a two post cool-down time before she can re-enter her host or find a new one.
- While melded with Byeol-Su, the host does not feel any physical pain equal to or less than Symbiote's ranking (C). This also negates Exhaustion, Burn, and Fever up to Symbiote's ranking. Instead, all wounds and status ailments taken by the host are afflicted onto Byeol-Su until she is ejected--afterwards the pain will return to them as normal. She cannot negate Blind, Silence, Nausea, or affect Cleansing.
Drawback:
As stated above, Byeol-Su's Quirk does not grant her many favors. To start, her physical form is unstable without a host. She is slower at higher temperatures, making fire and heat-based attacks an effective way of shutting her down. Likewise, she is afflicted with ALL status effects at one rank above the attacker's effect ranking when hit outside of a host, due to her weak physicality. While Byeol-Su is within a host and is taking damage, she takes hits at their normal strength, as well as any status ailments.
However, once she is evicted from her host, Byeol-Su retains all damage done to her while hosted, including status effects. Should her host be knocked unconscious, she is forcibly ejected from their body immediately, but will maintain consciousness. If her host dies while she is melded to them, she is similarly ejected from their corpse, but will be unconscious. Thus far a host has never died with her inside, but odds are high that, should it happen, a significant amount of psychological damage will be done to her.

-1100 = 150 XP And thus holding onto that last 150 for later use. :3

So I had archieved Byeol-Su while I reworked her, but now she is ready to come back with the following changes: - She has been aged up to 15 from 12, to justify her being able to visit people by herself - Her Quirk has been upgraded to better exemplify the symbiotic relationship - She now has a regenerative ability she can share with her host - The damage nullification has been removed (replaced with the above regeneration) - Minor changes to appearance and personality and history to suit her new age BYEOL-SU MAE BASIC INFORMATION Villain Alias: ParaSyte Player Name: Keiran Faceclaim/Series: Original Art Age: Fifteen Gender: Female Affiliation: █████████ / Villain Height: 1.45m (4'7") Weight: 36kg (79lbs) Hair/Style: Brown, mid-back in length. Poorly cut and unkempt. Skin/Scars: Gray-tinted Beige. Her skin sometimes "drips" off of her. Squishy. Eyes: Dark violet and unusually large. Notables: Because of her Quirk, Byeol-Su's body is amorphous to some degree. While her facial features (eyes, nose, mouth, hair) and the color of her hair and skin do not change, the shape of her body and length of her limbs can vary.
APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY Appearance:
Small in height and stature, Byeol-Su appears to be an under-developed and under-nourished girl in her early teens, despite being quite a few years older. Her hair is shaggy and thick, like it needs hedge-trimmers instead of a brush and scissors to manage. Her skin is sickly in both color and texture; grayed and wet to the touch, with too much give to be "normal". She has deep-set purple eyes that look too large for her face. Overall, she doesn't look too healthy, but is "normal" to some extent.
But put her in the sun and it gets worse.
This appearance, sickly but whole, is only what she appears like at cooler temperatures. Once the heat rises above twenty-three degrees (Celsius) Byeol-Su's body begins to quite literally melt off of her like a human-shaped ice-pop. Her skin will drip and shift like living liquid, trying to maintain some sort of humanoid shape. Occasionally her facial features will slide along with her skin. It is unnerving to say the least, but it doesn't appear to cause Byeol-Su any pain...or much, at least.
POSITIVE ✔ Inquisitive, Cooperative, Friendly NEGATIVE ✖ Selfish, Impatient, Spineless LIKES ✔ New Things, Ice Cream, Physical Touches DISLIKES ✖ Leeks, Loneliness, Stale Surroundings
Personality:
Byeol-Su is young in body, but more so in mind. Due to her sheltered upbringing she has developed an endless love of the world around her, finding joy in learning whatever new things she can. She likes meeting new people (even through the eyes of her host) and experiencing new sensations. If given the chance she'll ask a thousand questions about every unknown thing that crosses her path. She also likes to help people; though more specifically, she likes to help those who help her. This is partially due to the nature of her Quirk making her very dependent on others, and partially due to her upbringing conditioning her to be as cooperative as possible.
Due to her appearance and texture putting off most people from showing her physical intimacy, and being disconnected from her family at a young age, Byeol-Su is touch starved and constantly seeking physical signs of affection. These needs are purely innocent in nature. Even if a stranger were to offer her a hug she'd take it. Thankfully she sates most of this need by being hosted--which is like a hug, sort of--so she doesn't feel the need to go around hugging random strangers for comfort.
Of course there's another side to childlike wonder and playfulness. Byeol-Su is incredibly selfish and refuses to part with anything she considers "hers" without a fight, be it toys, a specific blanket, a treat, or even people she's around a lot. She has little patience for slow games, and the same is true for most things; if Byeol-Su isn't receiving gratification--be it physical, emotional, or sating her curiosity--from somebody, she gets bored, and begins to complain or whine about wanting more.
It's very childish of a girl her age to act like this, but with her upbringing, it's not hard to see why she still possesses these traits. She was never taught a better way. Not by her parents, not by her care-takers; and it's unlikely she can learn it now.
However, as much as she may whine and complain and throw a fit over not getting what she wants, Byeol-Su is, truly, too weak-willed to put up a real fight. She is all talk and no action, and the moment somebody raises their voice to her, she stops. She'll still hold onto her anger and resentment until such a time that she's given something new or exciting to latch onto, but she doesn't dare act on that bitterness.
Such actions would end badly for a person as weak as herself.
HISTORY 2060
Until Byeol-Su was three years old her like was fairly normal. She had a father and mother who didn't have a lot of money, but they always had food in the house and could afford a few nice things. Neither of her parents possessed any sort of Quirk--that they were aware of, at least--and neither of them had any strong views on Quirkers as a whole. They knew Quirks existed, but so long as it wasn't affecting them, they had no reason to care. That was the case until on sweltering summer day during Byeol-Su's third year of life...when she began to quite literally melt.
She was rushed to the hospital by her parents without pause, her amorphous "body" held in a bucket all the while. It was clear that she possessed a Quirk of some kind that had manifested on that very day, though what exactly it was no doctor could figure out. For the time being it was assumed that the heat had something to do with her liquefied state. She was placed in a refrigerated room in the hospital's basement, and slowly she began to reform into a more recognizable human child.
Byeol-Su spent the next few days in that room beneath the hospital, being treated like any other patient. They ran tests to make sure her vitals were unaffected by her "melting", only to find that her biology was a complete and utter mess. She was more a solid mass of "human" than skin, muscle, and blood. It made no sense. Still, the doctors continued to do their best at understanding her Quirk, and her parents stayed at her side all the while, confused and terrified though they were.
One week into this, a specialist was called to the hospital. The specialist introduced himself to Byeol-Su as "Iseul", and he worked at █████████, a Pro-Quirk organization. Iseul promised her parents and the doctors that, should they release her into his custody, he would uncover the truth about her Quirk and help her to control it so that she could, in time, return home. Her parents were reluctant to trust him, and Byeol-Su, though young, couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. But staying at the hospital was costly, and they couldn't bring Byeol-Su home for fear that the heat would cause her to lose her shape again...or worse.
Thus, Byeol-Su Mae was placed into the care of Iseul, and never saw home again.
2060 - 2068
Over the next eight years Byeol-Su lived at the main headquarters of █████████, where she was watched over by Iseul and a number of other "specialists" among the staff. To their credit, they did learn a lot about her Quirk in that time, and so did she. She learned that her Quirk gave her body a liquid-like state compared to "mundanes", which left her without a protective layer of skin to protect her from air-borne diseases. She took harm easier than "mundanes", especially from fire or other heat-based injuries. She could change her physical shape to some extent, though not so much as to be particularly useful--she couldn't make her arms longer and maintain control over it; rather, putting more of her matter into one limb would make it lose shape, becoming more puddle than person.
However all of these discoveries came at a cost to Byeol-Su herself. She got horribly sick once, but only once, and afterwards was confined to sterilized rooms and only allowed to interact with people either through radio or when they were sterilized themselves. She was no longer allowed outside for her safety. Although she was never subjected to harmful tests without her consent, she was still very young, and was often (if not always) bribed or coerced into accepting. She received very minimal education as she could not attend school, nor would those watching her devote the time to teach her themselves. It was not a cruel life, nor a kind one.
Then, during a routine visit and test from Iseul, he wanted to see the effect of her liquid on that of another living creature. He told her to place her hand onto an open wound on a rabbit. Byeol-Su felt something pulling at her the moment her liquid skin met the animal's blood. Like gravity directing her to move towards it with all her being. She followed the feeling and suddenly found herself...much smaller. Fuzzier. She had melded with the rabbit, becoming a part of it, while it became her host. She could see through its eyes, hear through its ears, smell through its nose, and feel the wound on its leg like it were her own. After only a minute or so she suddenly emerged from the rabbit's cut, dazed and shocked.
Iseul was thrilled.
The discovery that she could meld into another being changed everything. What had once just been tests on her became tests on her and whatever they brought in for her to be hosted by. Rabbits, felines, dogs, a pig; really, any animal they could bring into her sterile environment she could meld with. The connection only lasted a short time, but even still it gave them new tests to run. She shared their senses, the good and the bad. She could manifest her own sensory organs as well, though only one at a time, and communicate through them. She felt their pain when they were struck. It wasn't until Iseul offered himself as her next host, though, that it was learned that those who were holding her within them didn't feel pain themselves. Byeol-Su hated the feeling of pain being inflicted on her over and over and over again. And yet, being able to enter a new body, seeing what they saw and feeling what they felt, being able to leave her room and venture out with her host for a time without fear of getting sick or being hurt...it was like she could finally, finally be a normal person, even if only through the skin of another human.
2070 - NOW
Byeol-Su began to travel at Iseul's side--or rather, literally within him--for every venture he took. She began to see the world through his eyes, as well as just what exactly █████████ did beyond her little room. She learned that their goals were not just understanding Quirks, but pushing for their acceptance in society. They spoke at rallies, led marches, preached change, and reached as many oppressed Quirkers as they could; all through their completely legitimate place as a research facility for those with Quirks. She saw the inner-workings, the deals with politicians, the money passing hands, the greed of society...but she didn't understand it at all. All she was was a second layer of skin on Iseul's body. To see new sights, smell new scents, taste new foods, hear new music. It was wonderful.
For a little while that was all it was. The rallies, the marches, the preaching. The new things to do and see and experience. Byeol-Su was learning to love her Quirk.
But she didn't understand why Iseul was hosting her.
Not until one night, when amidst another Pro-Quirk rally, Iseul approached a watching and protesting mundane...and shot him, point-blank, between the eyes. Byeol-Su saw death that day. And after that, she saw it so, so, so much more.
█████████ began to change--or perhaps it was always this way, and Byeol-Su had never seen it. The rallies, marches, and preaching became riots, blackmail, and violence. Iseul used her to keep himself from harm, like a living shield, so that he could escape when the violence reached its peak. They were never caught. Although there were hisses and whispers that █████████ was inciting this violence, they never had concrete evidence to the fact. All the while, Byeol-Su was complicit in it all, a witness to every thrown stone and screamed slur and wretched act of hate and bloodshed that happened around her. She became accustomed to it. She learned to anticipate pain, and hone her gift to undo harm done to her host. The time she could spend protecting her host grew to the point that Iseul could use her through a whole fight if he wished. She never dared complain.
If she did, then he may return her to that sterile room, locked away from the world outside. As violent, as frightening, and cruel as the world was she still loved it too much to return to that. Iseul had given her everything. Giving her life.
She would gladly watch a million mundanes die to keep it.

Iseul had given her [i]everything[/i]. Giving her [b][i]life[/i][/b].
She would gladly watch a million mundanes die to keep it.[/font] [/div] [/div][/div][/div][div align="center" style="font-size:10px;letter-spacing:3px;"][a href="http://pixel-perfect.boards.net/user/184"]↺ + HK[/a][/div]

Second verse, same as the first! BYEOL-SU MAE QUIRK INFORMATION Quirk Symbiote Type: Mutation Rank: C Description:
By touching the skin of another living being, Byeol-Su can inject herself into the other person, becoming, literally, symbiotic with them. She can share her host's senses, or can manifest a single sensory organ (eye, mouth, ear, nose) anywhere else on the host's body--though the senses she receives from her manifested organ are not received by the host. While having Byeol-Su inside them, she protects her host from harm by healing any injuries they take from the inside-out. While healing her host they are unable to feel their own injuries, giving them an edge in a fight.
However, while her host does not feel the pain inflicted upon their body, Byeol-Su does. She feels every hit as she would upon herself. Once she has left the host she does not have any physical wounds; but any pain lingering in her mind does not fade. Byeol-Su's own physical body is also incredibly weak to attack, despite her healing factor, so the only way she is likely to survive in combat is through a host.
While being hosted, Byeol-Su cannot communicate with her host beyond base feelings. She cannot read their mind or speak to them mentally. She can, however, give them a pulse of her current feeling to indicate her thoughts. This does not affect her host's own emotional state in any way; they will simply be aware, somehow, that she is happy, sad, angry, scared, or any other feeling she may have.
Overall, Byeol-Su's is not the one who benefits from her Quirk. At its core, "Symbiote" is a Quirk meant to support another living creature and aid them in combat, or just in general. Byeol-Su gains fairly little in return.
Effects:
- [Symbiotic Sanctuary]: For six (6) posts, Byeol-Su is capable of melding herself with another character.
Once she is inside, Byeol-Su is protected from taking any physical damage. That is not to say that she doesn't get hurt; she still suffers from any status ailments or crippling effects as her host, but she cannot die while inside a host. See below for more details.
- [Symbiotic Stitches:] Byeol-Su's body is fluid in nature, and despite its weakness, this allows her to close up and regenerate wounds at a faster rate than normal. At this time she is capable of healing severe injuries such as broken wounds, ripped tendons, and non-immediately-fatal injuries to internal organs (i.e, a stab wound to the throat, but not a bullet to the head). These extreme injuries take four (4) posts to heal. Deep wound take three (3) posts, moderate injuries take two (2) posts, and small cuts and scrapes can be healed instantaneously.
- [Symbiotic Relationship:] While hosted, Byeol-Su becomes part of that person in all senses sans having control. She receives protection from the harsher weaknesses of her Quirk, and in return can gift her host with an ability of her own. She can only gift one benefit to her host per hosting session (six [6] posts). This does not extend to her ability to meld into people--her host cannot then be hosted by another person, nesting doll style--because she cannot change their physicality at all. The main use of this is extending her healing factor to her host so they do not die.
This ability is not a two-way-street; should her host have some sort of physicality-changing property, such as turning into fire or negating poisons, Byeol-Su does not receive this resistance ability herself. She will burn up and be forced to eject in the first scenario or be poisoned and take poison damage in the latter. Similar flaws exist in similar situations, so Byeol-Su must chose carefully whom will host her.
Drawback and Weaknesses:
As stated above, Byeol-Su's Quirk does not grant her many favors.
To start, her physical form is incredibly unstable higher temperatures, making fire and heat-based attacks an effective way of shutting her down. Even when within her host fire will do the most harm to her, even if her host has no weaknesses to heat in themselves. Stat-wise, burns and heat-based attacks take two (2) turns longer to heal for Byeol-Su, even when she is inside a host.
Secondly her body is weak to more than just fire. Any sort of physical ailment, such as diseases or toxins, cause more harm to her than they would a normal individual. Stat-wise, she is afflicted with ALL status effects at one rank above the attacker's effect ranking. However this only applies when she is hit outside of a host. While inside a host she receives all status ailments on the same level as average.
Now, despite being in a host protecting her from physical injury, there is one major deficit to this. Once she is evicted from her host, Byeol-Su retains all damage done to her while hosted, including status effects (though they remain at 'normal' levels). The wounds themselves are not physical, but she will still feel the immense pain of being stabbed through the chest were her host stabbed through the chest. High enough damage can even forcibly eject her before the time limit is up.
Stat-wise, should her host be knocked unconscious, Byeol-Su is forcibly ejected from their body, but will maintain consciousness. If her host suffers from a fatal injury--AKA an injury so severe that she cannot heal them--she will be forcibly ejected. Should her host die while she is melded to them, she is similarly ejected from their corpse, but will be rendered unconscious for an unspecified amount of time.
Thus far a host has never died with her inside, but odds are high that, should it happen, a significant amount of psychological damage will be done to her...COMBAT ABILITIES Run Away Rank: F - Speed Effect: Byeol-Su would die if she couldn't run in a situation that left her host-less. She can run faster than average, but only just.
Needle in a Bug Rank: E - Body Modification/Weapon Effect: Through training, Byeol-Su is capable of sharpening the "flesh" of her fingers to needle-sharp points, capable of stabbing through stone and denting soft metal. While the practicality of this is to make incisions for her host without them needing a knife, this can also be used as a close-range weapon to anyone trying to attack her. Watch your eyes.
SPECIALIST ABILITIES Observant Rank: F Effect: Wide, wondering eyes are good at wandering, and Byeol-Su has a knack for seeing through what isn't meant to be seen. She can see through stealth and disguises--or at least know that something is there/know something is wrong--at the same level or lower than this ability.
