APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Ryuusei Igarashi almost always lets his hair hang loose. However, if he feels like it or is going to do any sports related activities, he might be seen wearing a bandana or, if his hair is longer than usual, he'll tie it up into a little ponytail. Despite not being one to talk about his family's wealth, Ryuu likes to dress well. Because of this he always wears branded clothing (even if it isn't noticeable straight away), having a style that can be best described as streetwear or, as his mother likes to put it, "the same as the one those k-pop stars have". This style is, of course, different if Ryuusei is to go to a more formal gathering or, currently, when he is going to work, situations in which he always wears a suit. In terms of accessories (and besides the multiple types of earrings he uses in turns or the single necklace that he owns) Ryuusei likes to, sometimes, also wear some rings on his fingers and, more occasionally, some chains on his pants.
After returning to Japan after a half-year break, he returned with the Vigilante Suit he got made while abroad. When assuming the alias of "Zero", the clothes that Ryuu wears are these ones: link.

Personality:
Much has changed about Ryuusei Igarashi's personality since he joined Yuuei, but even more changed after he left the school behind and moved to South Korea for half a year. His generally cold persona makes first impressions and establishing true long-lasting friendships somewhat difficult, for most assume his attitude as of someone who thinks of himself to highly or of others to lowly. Despite this, Ryuusei is still a very reliable individual, both to the ones that actually choose to pursue a friendship with him or even to mere strangers that he just met or that he works with: he has the aura of someone that doesn't break promises and that doesn't run away from his resposabilities and, as such, many end up tolerating his difficult personality for they know he is someone they can rely on at 100%. To the few that he actually considers his true friends, he can show more of what the ice actually hides - a warm heart that, even if not showing, will walk through fire and back to make sure the ones he cares about are safe.
At the end of the day, Ryuusei fits his last name perfectly: a man composed out of 'fifty storms' (Igarashi), someone made out of a turmoil of emotions and that his always walking side by side with his own past demons.

HISTORY
I.
It was the summer of '42, when a fifteen year old Hiroko was being phisically and verbally harassed by a group of boys, that she met Minato. Seeing the girl being attacked for being a known 'Quirker' was something that the Quirkless boy could not tolerate. He stood in front of her, protecting her with his own body in the best way that he could. Under the full moon, he got beaten up badly, enough to satisfy the group of harassers and make them leave... and also enough to make his face barely recognazible for some time. However, this was the beginning of something beautiful. While on the hospital, Minato was constatly visited by Hiroko. First, she went only to show gratitude to the one who rescued her. Then, after they started talking more and more during those visits, because she genuinely started to develop feelings for him. From that point on they would never leave each other, their love fated to bloom for eternity.
It was in 2050, two years after the couple got married, that they had their first child: a beautiful baby girl born Quirkless just like her father. She was named Yasu and her golden eyes shined as bright as the sun. Those early years were perfect. Minato and Hiroko loved each other deeply, but their love for Yasu was much bigger. More so, with the wealth of Minato's family the Igarashi's had a very confortable lifestyle, residing on a big property in which they still live to this day.
The couple had even more love to give. Two years after Yasu's birth, Hiroko got pregnant again. This time, however, the situation wouldn't bring the same feelings that made them want to have another baby. The young boy's lungs hadn't developed in a correct way, something that hadn't been detected during the nine months of gestation. And so, when the child came to the world, no amount of air was there to greet him. He never cried nor opened his eyes and both Minato and Hiroko were only capable of give him a kiss on the forehead before saying goodbye forever.
To run away from their sadness and sorrow, they turned their attention to Yasu even more. She grew in the best conditions possible, always smiling but never spoiled. When the girl hit seven years of age Minato's and Hiroko's scar was still present, but it had healed enough. They decided to try once more, vowing it to be the last time. On the rainy night of March 27th of 2057, Igarashi Ryuusei came into the world. Destiny would make it that, years later, he found out that his Quirk was dependent on a fully capable set of lungs. Ryuusei came into this life to breathe - not only for himself, but also for the brother that neither him or Yasu were able to meet.
Ryuusei's early life was filled with happiness and joyful moments. His parents were always caring, supportive and present, just as they are now - the best role models that a child could hope for at such an early age. Yasu was also a very important figure for him. Despite being seven years older than him, the young Quirkless girl was always willing to play with Ryuu, be around him and assist him in anyway she could. She would pick him up from school, teach him how to play the piano, help him figure out how to control his Quirk and so, but so much more. Because she did not have a Quirk, she constantly trained body combat to a point of exhaution and perfection, just like her father had also done and continued to do. She wanted to be able protect everyone and so she did her best to keep this dream alive, urging Ryuu to always do the same. The girl brought out the best out of her shy younger brother and in return he would follow her to the end of the world. Hiroko and Minato would often joke that their children liked each other more than they liked them.
Unfortunately, the happy years would come to an abrupt end. In 2070 something happened at the Igarashi household that would mark Ryuusei's life forever. Under the full moon, Yasu and Ryuusei were the only ones at the mansion. It was then that two evildoers charged in, their reasons unknown to this day. At thirteen years of age, facing such threat and feeling such fear for the first time, Ryuusei was paralysed. But not his sister. The twenty year old Yasu stood in front of her younger brother, ready to protect the one she hold the dearest in her heart. A battle of two male Quirkers against a Quirkless girl begun.
Yasu asked Ryuu to run, but he was stuck to the ground. She told him to call someone, but his lips couldn't move. When Hiroko and Minato returned home hours later, three bloodied bodies were laying on the floor of the entrace hall: the two villains and Yasu. As for Ryuu, he was curled up in a corner, his eyes wide open in shock and stuck to the place where the battle had occured. It was like he had seen a war take place right in front of him. The two invaders were alive and quickly arrested when the police arrived. On the contrary, Yasu was struggling to stay alive, uncounscious and barely with a pulse. From that day she entered a coma state from which she is yet to awake up.
The following months of Ryuu's life were difficult ones. He became even more quiet, introverted and colder than before, not talking to anyone in school, avoiding everyone and barely speaking to his parents, who always kept on trying to help him with a smile. It was like he wasn't fully there. In school, rumours began to spread about what had happened. Those rumours were quick to escalate. The other kids said that Ryuusei was to blame for what happened to his sister; that, because he had a Quirk, he should've helped her but chose not to; that he was the proof as to why Quirkers should be put aside; that his parents must hate him for what he allowed to happen. Walking around the halls he was avoided and looked sideways, a disgusted expression on everyone's face. In class he was nicknamed 'Susanoo': the traitor that forced Amaterasu to hide from the world; the selfish storm and sea that destroys what he pleases. A nickname that the entire school was quick to use.
He heard about Yuuei when he was about to finish school. It was the first hero school from the first ever hero programme and it was looking for candidates. His motivation and ambition for being a Hero was non-existent but, at the last day, he decided to apply. An impulse motivated from the memories of his sister that he held close to his chest, motivated by the dream that she now would never be able to accomplish. To Ryuusei's surprise he was accepted, something due to his phenomenal school grades and uncommon Quirk.
II.
He never felt like he really belonged to Yuuei. As a member of the first students to ever enter the hero school, his grades as part of Class A were always excellent and his perfomances in practical training were also good, even if the motivation wasn't fully there. But he was never there for himself - he was living the dream of his sister, not his own, and living the life of another person was a heavy burden to carry. He tried to... it lead to tragic consequences.
He showed his potential as a Hero at Herr Kunshu and at the first ever Sports Festival, but a dark side kept pulling him to the other side: in an alley at Kabukicho, he saved a children with a Quirk, but that also implied accidentaly killing one of the assailants; at Semper Fi, he was the one that captured Hideaki, the man responsible for all that happen there, but during the operation he also killed soldiers in order to keep advancing.
He tried to live with his sins, but such was becoming more and more difficult: Yoruhi, Rinkusu, Darren, Jasmine, Elise, Rowan, Yumi... They were friends, but they didn't know the true him - it was living a lie, a lie that he could be a good hero, and that ate him on the inside every single day. Until...
Ryuusei was doing extremely well at the school's Battle Royale until he decide he couldn't keep up the lies anymore: not to himself, not to others. He left during the event and, as fate would have it, a man wearing a dark suit and sunglasses was waiting for him on the outside.
He said that he knew what Ryuu had done. He said that he knew about Yasu. He said that Ryuusei didn't have any other choice but to agree with his terms... Ryuusei agreed.
Following orders, he left Yuuei and departed to South Korea, where he stayed for half a year. What he did is unknown, as unknows as the man who sent him there. He has now returned to Japan and awaits for the mysterious man to enter in contact with him once again. He knows only one thing, the one thing he was told to do once he got back home:
"Become a Vigilante".
