Now that I finally have the 700 EXP needed, it's time for a quirk upgrade, baby! Upgrading Red Blade Armor from D to C:
Red Blade Armor Type: Transformation Rank: D Description: As the quirk's name implies, Kenshin's quirk is a transformation quirk that gives him a special armor that's mostly red. When his quirk activates, his entire body is covered by a crisscrossing set of green lines. His armor materializes on top of this green grid of lines. The armor is lightweight and doesn't slow Kenshin down much. In addition to the armor, the most defining aspect of Kenshin's quirk is the ability to transform any one (not both) of his hands into a sword. About the size of an average katana, Kenshin can swing his blade around with relative ease. Benefits: 1. The blade of hard light is currently powerful enough to damage light metals such as bronze. (Blade Strength) 2. The blade Kenshin's hand can transform into, the hands themselves, and the red parts of his armor (helmet, chest and upper back, lower legs and feet, lower arms) are all currently as durable as bronze, granting him good defense against weaker attacks that strike those areas. (Durability) 3. The armor enhances Kenshin's movement, making him quite fast. Currently, his top speed is about equal to that of an antelope (60km/hr). (Speed)Exhaustion and Weakness: Despite the advantages Kenshin's quirk grants him, it is of course not without its drawbacks. Only his hands and the red parts of the armor are reinforced. The rest of Kenshin's body is vulnerable. If he accumulates too much damage on any of his unprotected areas, then his transformation can and will wear off early. If the emblems on his chest or the back of his hands are struck with enough force (as little as pressing a button), his transformation will end immediately, and he will not be able to activate his quirk again right away, leaving him vulnerable for a short time. His sword may be made of hard light, but it cannot be used as a makeshift flashlight, due to the light being very dim. More importantly, it is not indestructible. His sword can be damaged, and any damage that the sword gets goes to Kenshin's hand and fingers. If a strong enough force were to cause the blade to shatter completely, then Kenshin will actually lose his entire hand. Also, once Kenshin transforms one of his hands into a sword, only that specific hand will be able to turn into a sword and back for the duration of the transformation, even if that sword gets damaged. If his blade (and Kenshin's hand and/or fingers by extension) gets damaged, then until Kenshin's injuries heal completely, that sword will remain damaged, with the damage to the sword being equivalent to the damage on Kenshin's fingers/hand. Unlike a real sword, Kenshin's sword hand is not sharp enough to be able to easily slice or stab through skin or any material with greater or equal durability to his sword. Kenshin cannot just spam his quirk all the time. Maintaining his armor and blade requires both energy and nutrients, and it also takes a toll on his stamina if used for extended periods of time. Overusing his quirk can lead to exhaustion and muscle cramps. Pushing his quirk too far can lead to his muscles locking up, his bones becoming brittle, and internal injuries. To avoid this, Kenshin must rest often after using his quirk for long periods of time, as well as making sure his body always has sufficient nutrients and energy.

To avoid this, Kenshin must rest often after using his quirk for long periods of time, as well as making sure his body always has sufficient nutrients and energy. The following two aren't upgrades, but rather updates to ability descriptions. Especially the first one, which currently makes it sound like it has two benefits when the only benefit is supposed to be range.
Sword Beam Rank: E Effect: While transformed, Kenshin has the ability to gather energy from his body and focus that energy on his blade. With a swing of his blade, Kenshin is then able to fire this gathered energy in the form of a red crescent-shaped sword beam. The fired beam is as wide as Kenshin's blade. The sword beam is currently able to travel the distance of a backyard pool before completely dissipating and at full power is strong enough to damage concrete. This technique drains Kenshin's energy and stamina, however, so he cannot use it too many times while transformed.
Samurai Strength Rank: E Effect: Continuing to train hard, both on his own and with help from G, Kenshin has pushed his body even further and became even stronger. Thanks to all of those weeks of training, Kenshin is now physically strong enough to damage concrete with his punches, kicks, and sword swings, even while not transformed!
Sword Beam Rank: E Effect: While transformed, Kenshin has the ability to gather energy from his body and focus that energy on his blade. With a swing of his blade, Kenshin is then able to fire this gathered energy in the form of a red crescent-shaped sword beam. Although Kenshin can control how strong the sword beam is, its maximum power can never exceed that of his blade. The beam's main purpose is to provide Kenshin with range. The sword beam is currently able to travel the distance of a backyard pool (10-12m) before completely dissipating. This technique drains Kenshin's energy and stamina, however, especially when using it with increased power. Because of this, he cannot use it too many times while transformed.
Samurai Strength Rank: E Effect: Continuing to train hard, both on his own and with help from G, Kenshin has pushed his body even further and became even stronger. Thanks to all of those weeks of training, Kenshin is now physically strong enough to lift things about as heavy as a cow (600kg) and damage thin concrete with his punches and kicks, even while not transformed!

Will be updating the template for Kenshin's app, fix up a few things to make it look neater, and more importantly, I'm changing Kenshin's FC. Kenshin Akadama BASIC INFORMATION Vigilante alias: Red Edge Player Name: khaozz Faceclaim/Series: Seth/Under Night In-Birth Age: 15 Gender: Male Affiliation: Vigilante (Storm Knights) Height: 1.67m Weight: 60kg Hair/Style: Black and white, short, covers forehead Skin/Scars: Light skin Eyes: Blue Notables: n/a
APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY Appearance: Kenshin is a medium-sized teenager. He may look thin, but he is not lacking in muscles. His skin is very light in color. His nose is small and pointed. He has blue eyes that are sharp. His eyebrows are black and thin, and he has short hair that covers his forehead. While his natural hair color is black and white (a mix of his mother's and father's hair color, respectively), Kenshin has dyed it so that a majority of it is black while leaving about a quarter of it white on the left side. A strand of the white portion of his hair sticks out and curls up a bit. When transformed, Kenshin gains a unique armor. His helmet is red and white, with a red sword-like tip at the top. The durable red parts of the armor covers the boy's neck and chest, shoulders, kneecaps, lower legs and feet, and lower arms and back of his hands. The rest of his armor is black and light purple, and this part feels almost leather-like compared to the tough and durable red parts. Additionally, Kenshin has three emblems, with one on his chest, and the other two in the back of each hand. They have a gold border and a black and white design, almost like a cross between a thunderbolt and a yin-yang symbol. In addition to this armor, Kenshin gains a visor resembling sunglasses on his helmet, a retractable mouth cover, and a white hair-like cape that sticks out of the back of his helmet like a very long ponytail. All of these are purely cosmetic, however. Here is how Kenshin's armor looks like: POSITIVEâś” Smart, Brave, Loyal, Honorable, Determined, Hard-working NEGATIVEâś– Loner, Socially awkward, Reckless, Prideful, Competitive, Quick to anger LIKESâś” Swords, Training, Blues and Rock music, Fair fights, Challenges, Winning, Family DISLIKES âś– Failure, Cheaters, Villains, Cowardice, Bullies, Quirk Haters, Pop and Rap music Personality:Kenshin is a smart and hardworking young man who enjoys fighting. He's very prideful and competitive. He hates losing, and will work very hard to defeat anyone who manages to beat him at anything. However, he never resorts to cheating or cheap tricks to win. He believes in fighting his opponents with honor and respect. He also expects the same from them in return. Despite his difficulty in keeping his temper in check, he's not a rude person by any means. Despite his cold and sometimes distant appearance, he's respectful and kind to those who show similar respect and kindness. It may take a while for Kenshin to warm up to someone, but when he does, he is an incredibly loyal friend who would gladly do anything to make sure they stay happy. He is also always willing to defend people from bullies, and take his time to try to cheer them up. Kenshin does have his flaws, however. He prefers working alone, and can have trouble getting along with others. Not being very used to socializing with people, the boy can be incredibly awkward at times. Although he tries to maintain his cool, Kenshin is easily provoked and will quickly lose his temper. Although the boy is never intentionally rude, he does has a slight tendency to look down on those who haven't earned his respect yet. In addition, his pride and thrill for a challenge means that he can be reckless at times. Despite doing his best to follow the rules and law, Kenshin will often choose to break the rules and law if it means doing the right thing. HISTORY Kenshin Akadama was born in Tokyo, Japan, just as his parents were before him. His mother, whose name was Masa Akadama was a vigilante with a blade quirk who took it upon herself to clean the streets of crime and villainy. She wasn't very well known, since she preferred to stay out of the public spotlight. Still, she worked hard and fought hard to keep Tokyo a safe place.
One day, Masa saw the news of an armored man trying to rob a bank. His name was Oda Yamanaga. As quickly as she could, she made her way there to put a stop to him. After a long and fierce battle, she was victorious. Oda was arrested, but curiously, his gun was empty. He never intended or even really wanted to hurt anyone. He wasn't even a bad person at all. He was just desperate for money because he was struggling to pay his bills with his crappy job. Masa pitied him.
She decided to visit Oda while he was in prison. He was sorry for what he had done and wished that he didn't have to resort to robbing a bank just to survive. After asking him why he resorted to crime in the first place, Oda explained that people discriminated against him because of his quirk. He was all alone. His family had died, and he never had any friends, all because of his mutation quirk which gave him a metallic armor that he couldn't remove. There were still many people who feared and hated those with quirks, which made finding a job very difficult. The only person who did hire Oda paid him the minimum wage and never gave him a raise or any form of praise, despite him working ten times harder than anyone else there. Masa told him that if he were to turn over a new leaf and stop committing crimes, then she would help him get a better job and that she would be his friend.
Despite having been sentenced to prison for five years, the man got out a year early for good behavior. He had kept his word. He turned over a new leaf and became a better person. Happy that he was striving to do good, Masa befriended Oda. The two remained good friends for years. He even helped her fight criminals. At one point, he took a bullet meant for Masa. Thanks to his armor, he survived. Eventually, this friendship would bud into romance. The two fell in love and later got married. They had two sons, Kenshin and Sai three years later. Seeing that it was difficult to fight crime while raising children, the two reluctantly agreed to retire from vigilantism. Masa eventually became a teacher, while Oda opened a car repair shop.
Kenshin loved hearing the story of how his parents had met. It was like a fairy tale, only a lot cooler. Listening to his mother's stories of her fighting crime was what had motivated him to one day follow in her footsteps. She may have retired, but at a very young age, Kenshin was determined to pick up where she left off. He had a strong sense of justice, and he would beat up any of the kids who picked on other people, especially if one of those people were his precious little brother. Masa was happy that he wanted to follow in her footsteps, but she disliked his tendency to pick fights. She would often have to ground him every time she received a call from one of his teachers saying that he had gotten into yet another fight. She was also saddened by the fact that Kenshin didn't get along well with others and preferred being alone over making friends.
When Kenshin was 9, a particularly nasty bully was picking on Sai. After Sai refused to hand over his lunch money, the kid punched him and began beating up poor Sai. Kenshin would have none of this. He went over to the kid and punched him in the jaw. The bully's two friends had grabbed Kenshin and held him down as the bully repeatedly punched him. The bully then threatened to break Sai's teeth and make Kenshin watch. This caused him to snap. His quirk activated for the first time in his life. Transforming and gaining both armor and a blade hand, he overpowered the two bullies holding him down. He then lashed out at the bully who started it all. Without mercy, he whaled on him long after the bully surrendered and begged for Kenshin to stop. However, Kenshin was furious, determined to punish the bully for daring to put his filthy hands on Sai. Eventually, a teacher had noticed the fight and separated Kenshin from the bully.
Masa was devastated when she heard what had happened. Although she was very grateful to Kenshin for defending his younger brother, she still grounded him for two months. After that, she decided to train him, not just to discipline him and get his temper under control, but also to teach him how to fight and defend his brother without going overboard. She taught him that it was important to show restraint and control over his quirk. Abusing his newfound power would make him no different than a criminal. Kenshin payed close attention, keeping his mother's lessons at heart.
Unfortunately, Kenshin continued to get in fights in school, and he continued to be punished accordingly. One night, when he was 12, Masa had caught Kenshin trying to sneak out of the house to find villains to beat up. She gave him his longest punishment ever and stopped giving him sword lessons until he learned to behave. Kenshin eventually got better at controlling himself, and he was eventually able to continue his lessons with his mother.
On Kenshin's 14th birthday, he had applied to Yuuei. Unfortunately for him, he had never obtained a letter of acceptance back from the school, or even any word from them at all. As far as the boy was concerned, the school had declined his application. (Although Kenshin does not know it, there was a mix up, and the boy's actual application never actually made it to the school at all.) Devastated at this 'rejection', Kenshin decided to train harder and become better. He was determined to be the best, far better than anyone in Yuuei. Although Kenshin was not necessarily opposed to the idea of applying to the hero school again one day, he preferred to follow in his mother's footsteps and carry out justice without the need of a hero school. What truly mattered in the end was how many lives he could save, how many people he could protect from evil. Masa was not exactly thrilled upon hearing this, but she and Oda both promised that they would do everything they could to help Kenshin be the best. They decided that he was old enough and skilled enough to go fight crime, but under the condition that he be very careful, retreat and call for help if he would be overwhelmed, and never fight with the intention to cause harm. Only to protect and defend others from criminals.
This is the story of Kenshin Akadama, the red swordsman who walks down the path of justice and fights to protect others, especially his family, from crime and evil. They decided that he was old enough and skilled enough to go fight crime, but under the condition that he be very careful, retreat and call for help if he would be overwhelmed, and never fight with the intention to cause harm. Only to protect and defend others from criminals.
This is the story of Kenshin Akadama, the red swordsman who walks down the path of justice and fights to protect others, especially his family, from crime and evil.[/div] [/div][/div][/div][div style="font-size:10px;letter-spacing:3px;" align="center"][a href="http://pixel-perfect.boards.net/user/184"]↺ + HK[/a][/div][/font] Kenshin Akadama QUIRK INFORMATION Quirk Red Blade Armor Type: Transformation Rank: C Description: As the quirk's name implies, Kenshin's quirk is a transformation quirk that gives him a special armor that's mostly red. He can also transfer energy from his body to his blade and release it in the form of a sword beam, but there's a limit to how often he can do this. Benefits: - The blade of hard light is currently powerful enough to damage hard metal. (Blade Strength)
- The blade Kenshin's hand can transform into, the hands themselves, and the red parts of his armor (helmet, chest and upper back, lower legs and feet, lower arms) are all currently as durable as hard metal, granting him good defense against weaker attacks that strike those areas. (Durability)
- While transformed, Kenshin's armor enhances his movement speed, making him quite fast. Currently, his top speed is about equal to that of a leopard (90km/hr). (Speed)
Exhaustion and Weakness: Despite the advantages Kenshin's quirk grants him, it is of course not without its drawbacks. Only his hands and the red parts of the armor are reinforced. The rest of Kenshin's body is vulnerable. If he accumulates too much damage on any of his unprotected areas, then his transformation can and will wear off early. If the emblems on his chest or the back of his hands are struck with enough force (as little as pressing a button), his transformation will end immediately. Regardless of how Kenshin's transformation ends (whether he takes too much damage, an emblem gets pressed, or enough time passes and his body's natural limiter activates), he will not be able to activate his quirk again right away, leaving him vulnerable for a short time. Kenshin's sword hand is naturally a bit blunt, and he has no way of naturally forcing it to sharpen it. As such, his sword is not very well-suited for slicing through things or people (not that he would want to in the case of the latter). Kenshin cannot just spam his quirk all the time. Maintaining his armor and blade requires both energy and nutrients, and it also takes a toll on his stamina if used for extended periods of time. His body has a natural limiter that forces Kenshin out of his armor after a certain period of time (in the form of the emblems on his armor flashing in a red light). While Kenshin can bypass his natural limiter by turning his emblem and shutting off the limiter, this of course comes with its consequences. Overusing his quirk (especially after bypassing his natural limiter) can lead to exhaustion and muscle cramps. Pushing his quirk too far can lead to his muscles locking up, his bones becoming brittle, and internal injuries. This of course happens regardless of whether Kenshin bypasses his limiter or simply uses his quirk too many times a day, but the effects are far worse in the case of the former. To avoid this, Kenshin must rest often after using his quirk for long periods of time, as well as making sure his body always has sufficient nutrients and energy. Finally, with how much his quirk drains his body of energy and nutrients, Kenshin often has to eat more than the average person. At least two to three times what most people would eat on days where he uses his quirk often. COMBAT ABILITIES K.A.T.A.N.A. (Swordsmanship) Rank: D Effect: Kenshin has been developing and improving on a fighting style of his own, which he has named Kenshin's Asskicking Techniques And Nonlethal Attacks™, or K.A.T.A.N.A. for short. While this fighting style is mostly based on swordsmanship and various sword techniques, there are a few moves that do not require the use of a sword, instead using a variety of hand-to-hand techniques. This blend of swordsmanship and martial arts is far from perfect, but it lets the boy fight on par with a swordsman or martial arts tournament star. Though because Kenshin's main focus is on swordsmanship, K.A.T.A.N.A. is not as effective against opponents who focus purely on martial arts.
Sword Beam (Range) Rank: E Effect: While transformed, Kenshin has the ability to gather energy from his body and focus that energy on his blade.
Thanks to all that training, Kenshin is now physically strong enough to lift things about as heavy as a cow (600kg) and damage thin concrete with his punches and kicks, even while not transformed!
Swordsman's Stamina Rank: F Effect: With the frequent training Kenshin does, his stamina is better than average. He can go full throttle and fight, run, or do anything else that's strenuous for 3 posts before tiring.

LIFE SKILLS Bass Guitar Rank: E Effect: Having played and practiced with the bass guitar for years, Kenshin has become quite skilled with it. He can make very good bass covers of various songs, and can also play some original tunes quite well. Beginner friendly songs can be played flawlessly, and he may only make a few mistakes when playing tougher compositions. Though he usually just sticks to playing bass, Kenshin can also sing decently, though he will usually just stick to backing vocals, and only to help compliment his bass playing.
Songwriting/Lyricist Rank: F Effect: With how much time Kenshin has spent covering songs and writing his own original tunes, he has gotten better at writing song and lyrics. Although he has a long way to go before being able to write as well as a professional, he is at least better at writing than the average person.
