Weapon search was not a problem for Meiko since she was a living armoury. Although, sadly, even with her they had to bring more weapons, considering she was limited to summoning 2 weapons daily. And, her roster of weapons was still short. Plus, she wasnt in the mood for stripping down to try and search of a new weapon from some other exposed body part. So, when it came to weapons and trasnferring them, she kept quiet.
Next subject was moving on. So Alaster called for his guy to get them a vehicle, since walking would take forever. Plus its lame. So badda bing badda boom. The big bad Wheels guy came to them with a car. He stepped out, gave Alaster the keys and left. Alaster being a gentleman opened the door for her so she can enter. That made Meiko smile "Thank you, dear" she said and kissed him on the cheek before sitting in the car.
And thus, once all 3 of them sat in the vehicle. Alaster started driving to their destination. Meiko still a bit weirded out by having Nick there with them "It's so weird to have him along. A bit awkward too. But hey... he came up with the plan at least. So he's the man with the plan" she thought

Nick tried his absolute hardest to hold back his vomit when Meiko kissed Crowley on the cheek.
Please don’t keep doing that kind of crap, he grumpily thought.
As if he needed more reminders of how alone he was. The agonising gnawing within him grew only even worse than it had already been. He was left stood there in a bleak, dark haze for a few seconds. God, I screwed up so much.
It seemed Rin – the real Rin, not Meiko – was never going to leave his mind alone. Regret, shame and sorrow were tearing him apart from the inside. She would never love him. Just as no one else in his life ever had. He wondered if he deserved to be loved.
He finally snapped out of it when he heard Crowley opening the car door. At least the car Crowley’s odd companion had brought them looked to be in decent condition.
Nick forced his unpleasant thoughts out of his mind with great difficulty. He sloped into the back of the car and did his best not to look at either of his travelling companions. Instead he kept his eyes fixed firmly on his feet and sulked away.
Is this the way it’s going to feel forever?
Christ, this was the longest car ride of his entire life thus far.

Empty PocketsTHEY CALL ME DEVIL, AND YOU SHOULD BE AFRAID The trio of evildoers would reach the base long after the sunset. Most of the dealings and crimes that would take place at such a place would have to be done during that time. With the heightened security during the day hours because of all the visitors and guests, the evening was the only real time that a job could be done with any real success. And while the people they were looking to stop were confident in their ability to defend themselves against the military, their lives would also be much easier if they didn't have to fight the entire base at once. Thankfully, since the three were coming in at the tail end of another heist, it was completely possible for them to exploit the same loopholes and paths the target group used to get on the base. Like with all patrols, there were routes the guards followed and sentries that others perched up in. The main entrances and such were the guard of course. No one was really foolish enough to bust through the front door, but without someone there, an idiot might be.
But, of the area that surrounded the base, there was one opening. A whole had been melted into the fence in an odd fashion. It wasn't your typical cut and bend slit in the metal that composed the face. The edges of the opening were seared and it was shaped like the human figure spread eagle. It was almost cartoonish how this hole in the fence was made. And yet, there it was and if the trio found it, that hole was an easy ticket on to the base. It was almost near their destination. The group ahead of them was looking for a quick grab and go heist so they tried to make things as quick as possible. The area outside the opening of the fence was mostly forest area. A set of bushes hung around the opening, cleverly hiding it as overgrown foliage that the base needed to take care of.
For now, an observation of the situation was best. The group they were after was already in one of the buildings and looking over the stash to see what was worth taking. It seemed like they weren't just after anything, but something specific. It was three men going through crates and cases looking for certain types of weapons. Whether or not they found them wasn't the important note. What was important was that they were taking their time and moving quietly. They clearly did not want to alert the base as to what was going on.

Alaster smiled and blushed when Meiko kissed his cheek. He always enjoyed Meiko's kisses. Nothing made him happier than being shown affection from his beloved. He then noticed Nick, and his smile immediately faded. Oh, right. He was there. Alaster felt bad for poor Nick. He could not imagine how awkward it must be for the poor boy. Alaster decided to take pity on him by not kissing Meiko back immediately for now. The lovebirds would have all the time to get romantic after they complete the job. Business before pleasure, after all.
The drive was relatively short and silent. There was little point in having small talk. They were on a mission, not a cruise to an amusement park. Any words exchanged on that ride were solely to review the plan. They needed to be a hundred percent prepared. This was no easy task, and mistakes could not be made.
As soon as they reached their destination, Alaster got out of the car, and he helped Meiko get out. He may have wanted to avoid kissing Meiko for the sake of not making things awkward for Nick, but that did not stop him from being a gentleman. Anyway, as soon as the trio had exited the car and taken the weapons with them, they began walking towards the base.
Alaster led the group to a forested path. It was better to use the trees and bushes as cover to minimize the chances of being detected by someone. After all, it was completely idiotic to just wander in through the front gate. No, they needed to observe the area, note the guards' patrol patterns and habits, and find an opening. It was better to know what they had to deal with than to just go in blindly.
Speaking of observations, Alaster was delighted to see many crows flying around the area. Excellent! He did not call on them just yet, but it was good to see that they were there and ready for his quirk to take control of them.
All right, with the three of them well hidden, it was time to observe and plan. Then once they were ready, it would be time to make their move.

Meiko got Alasters message about not kissing. It was because Nick felt bad then. She understood that. And with that all got into the car and started driving there. It was relatively silent. The only sound that could be heard was the sound of the car. Other then that, no one said a word to anyone. Silence and waiting was something Meiko could not take. So she hummed a song to herself really really quietly so Nick couldnt hear it. "I'm feeling mean today. Not lost, not blown away. Just irritated and quite hated. Self control breaks down. Why's everything so tame. I like my life insane. I'm fabricating and debating who I'm gonna kick around. Right now~" she thought of the lyrics of the song she was really quietly humming
As soon as they arrived, Alaster was once again the gentleman. Although, this time Meiko showed her appreciaton for him with a simple smile and nod. If he did not want Nick to feel bad. Then the same went to her. Romance to a minimum. Business to the maximum
Then, she followed Alasters lead through the forested path. Nick and Alaster knew what to do, so she followed their lead, since this was her first time doing some joint villainy as usually she was a solo show. So she did not need to worry about a comrade ever. Before she'd stealth alone or rambo it alone. But this time, her comrade and her love could be hurt. So she had to be careful and follow their lead.
Speaking of her comrade, Meiko wondered why did people hate Nick? "Its a shame he hates me. He seems like a decent boy. I mean, he got Susumu's eye. That was surely glorious. I wish I was there. There's also the Nick hate train that the chat kinda has. I dunno... That boy is an enigma" Meiko thought to herself, but then soon saw crows which made her smile. That means Alaster could use his Quirk if he wanted.
But now. The three are well hidden. It was time to get serious "I have to try my best" she thought

Nick could not have felt more awkward if he had been dressed as a clown for no reason. It was the most uncomfortable car journey of his life. The car might as well have been moving in slow motion.
When they finally arrived he leapt out to freedom before the car had fully stopped. He took in deep, relieved breaths of fresh air. Then, he clenched his fists and steeled himself.
Enough messing around. Now is the time to focus, unless you want to be turned into Swiss cheese by the soldiers here.
Nick would sooner chop off an arm than admit to being nervous, but a concoction of nerves and uncertainly swirled within him. He hesitated for just a fraction of a second before following after Crowley.
He would admit that scouting out the base was the intelligent thing to do. He allowed Crowley to take the lead for the time being. It gave him all the time he needed to look around for clues as to their enemy’s actions and for potential openings.
It took less time than he expected for a clue to appear. Cut into the camp’s wire fence was what was definitely the shape of a spread-eagled person, as if they had simply thrown themselves at it or had someone else throw them.
“There’s a hole in the fence right there,” he said. He pointed. “From the looks of things we’re dealing with someone who can heat their body up enough to melt through the metal, or something along those lines.”
It also made quite a convenient way into the camp for them. He supposed they perhaps did not have to worry about the weapon search so much after all.

Empty PocketsTHEY CALL ME DEVIL, AND YOU SHOULD BE AFRAID Once the three entered the base through the fence, they would find that they were at a weak point on Semper Fi. They were following the footsteps of their targets, so the path was clear for the time being. The patrol in this section of the base was dealt with already so that the previous set of villains could make their way through. The soldiers weren't dead, just knocked out and placed out of sight until they woke up in a shed not too far from the three of them. The base wasn't on high alert just yet. Off in the distance was a guard tower, however. It was meant to watch the area the three needed to traverse to. ANd the only patrol still active in that area was on the other side of the armory the villains were in. Basically, they were in a big spot clear of obstacles until they got closer to the armory. They had the chance to either alert the guard tower in some way or make their way into the base and across two roads to the armory, the villains in question were in.
On the opposite side oft he armory was one guard that walked past the side of it every thirty minutes or so. It was close to the end of his shift, which was the plan of the villains already inside. They were planning their escape as the guard position switched off. As for the villains, there were three of them inside the armory. They were opening weapon crates and checking out what they had before moving them to one end of the building. Just outside the building was a transport truck they were going to use to drive out of the base. They, of course, were going to make a loud exit, but that was within their plan. Of the three, two of them were checking and moving crates. First was a hooded man wearing a long trenchcoat. His face was completely obscured from sight and he seemed to be covered head to toe in some way. Along with him, loading thing sup was another more muscular man. He was bigger in stature and wore a skin-tight top. His hair was short and on the belt of his jeans hung numerous needles.
And finally, keeping a lookout was a girl with what seemed to be a dragon-like mutation. She had small wings and two horns on her head. She even had a tail with a small flame coming out of the end. She seemed more joyful than the rest but was helping them nonetheless. It was up to the hired three to decide how they were going to approach the group, but they needed to do it quickly, whether it was with their plan or with something different.

The trio kept moving, making their way closer and closer to the base. It was then that Nick noticed the peculiar hole in the fence. After seeing it for himself, Alaster was curious. Did someone literally jump right through the fence? Did they melt through the fence with some heat based quirk, or was it something else? Regardless of how the hole was made, the fact was that the hole was there for the trio to use. After first making sure that it was safe, Alaster allowed Nick and Meiko to go ahead first before he followed the two through the hole.
After some careful observation and cautious walking around, Alaster noticed something strange. Surely there would be some guards on patrol here? Yet there was no one in this section. Alaster began to get concerned. Something didn't feel right. What happened to the soldiers? Were they already taken care of? Were the enemy already here? Were they far more competent than Alaster believed? Meiko and Nick probably did not need the warning as neither of them were the incompetent morons that Alaster was used to working with. Still, Alaster decided to caution them anyway. "The place looks a bit too quiet. Be on your guard."
The lack of guards was not the only thing bothering Alaster. If the enemy were already here to steal the weapons, then there might not be time to put the plan in motion. Worst case scenario, the trio would have to confront the would-be robbers directly.
Still, not all hope was lost regarding the plan. Off in the distance was a tower. Using a binocular, Alaster could just barely make out a figure walking on the guard tower. It seemed as though not all of the soldiers were taken out just yet. Only the ones in the way were dealt with. That meant that it was still possible for the soldiers to come in and fight off the thieves.
Considering that all possible signs pointed to the thieves already being here, Alaster needed to decide now whether to stick to the plan and alert the military of the robbers, or take a risk and confront the thieves right now. After quickly thinking about it, Alaster decided to play it safe and stick to the plan. There were too many unknown factors to risk jeopardizing the mission. Alaster did not even know how powerful the enemy was. In addition, Alaster did not want Nick's planning to be for nothing, nor did he want him to think that his plan was not good enough. Again, antagonizing one's partner during a mission was not a smart idea.
"All right, time to get the attention of our military friends. Let them know that they have some unwanted guests, besides us."
As Meiko began her preparations to alert the military, Alaster turned to Nick. "While she does that, we should probably go see what it is we're dealing with. We could just sit back and let the military do all the work, but there is the possibility of the soldiers being all brawn and no brains. Can't be too careful, right?"
They did not have any time to waste. It was time to put the plan into motion, and hope that things did not immediately go south.

Well, they spotted a hole and Alaster gave her and Nick a chance to go first. Meiko decided to go first then she allowed Nick and Alster to go through.
When they all arrive Meiko noticed one thing. It was void of life, it was like a ghost town or ... ghost base. She didnt like it. It not that it didnt feel right. It blatantly wasnt right "I feel this is like an elaborate ambush" Meiko thought to herself Alaster then said that the place is too quiet and that they should be on guard. Meiko nodded in agreement. She was on guard. Alaster used the binoculars and looked around. She wasnt sure what he was seeing, but she didnt question him as she didnt want to break his concentration or make any noise.
When Alaster was done, he spoke to the two and by the sounds of it, the plan was continuing as per normal. Thus she began the right preparations to alert the military. While she did that, Alaster probabaly wanted to check things out with Nick and see what they're dealing with or something. She stopped paying attention at the two men and focused on her task at hand

Nick, like Crowley, was not sure how to feel about how very quiet the camp was. He supposed many of the soldiers could still be operating the events and workshops around the camp, but like Crowley said, it was more than likely an indication that whoever they were after had dealt with some of their opposition already.
“Right, okay,” he replied to Crowley.
If they were to stick to his plan then they would need to find somewhere they could watch the chaos unfold so they knew went to swoop in and clean up the leftovers. Nick crept along in the direction of the armoury as though he were in some sort of stealth videogame. He certainly felt like he was, pausing every few steps to glance around while keeping as hidden as possible.
After what felt like an eternity he drew close to the armoury. He crouched behind a stack of crates at the top of a row of tents and peered around. The armoury lay at the end of the row of tents. He could just about make out a figure stood by the armoury entrance who did not look like a soldier: more like a dragon girl.
Oh. Well, then.
Damn it. Why’d the enemy have to meet all my standards?
It was really not the time for such things, however. Regretfully, the dragon girl had to be eliminated with the rest of her group. Even so Nick felt reluctance clench around his insides.
This isn’t right. They’re Quirkers. The Quirkless military are my real enemies here.
With even more regret piling on, he wordlessly signalled for Crowley to stay put. Now they had to wait for Meiko to alert the military guards in the tower.

Alaster had followed Nick towards the armory, making sure that he remained hidden and silent. As Nick hid behind a stack of crates, Alaster hid behind the nearby tent. Seeing that Nick had the better view from his hiding place, Alaster allowed him to do the observing to see just what it was they were dealing with. Seeing Nick wordlessly signal him to stay put, Alaster did just that.
While continuing to hide behind the tent, Alaster glanced in the opposite direction, towards where Meiko was hiding. Less than a minute later, she was slowly and carefully making her way towards Alaster, hiding behind the same tent he was. This could only mean that she had finished alerting the guards at the tower. Alaster smiled and whispered to her. "Excellent work, love!" Good, all according to plan so far.
Carefully looking from behind the tent, Alaster quickly went back into cover upon seeing a distant soldier approaching the area. No doubt that Meiko's warning over the phone led the military to send a soldier to investigate. Not wanting to take a peek and risk being detected, Alaster could do nothing for the moment but wait. Wait for the soldier to see whoever it was keeping watch outside the armory. Nick would probably be able to see the approaching soldier, but it was probably for the best that he remained hidden as well.
Meanwhile, the soldiers at the guard tower received a mysterious call from an unknown number. The message was sent from a burner phone, so tracing it would have been useless. The message was a distorted voice (actually Meiko) telling the soldiers to check the armory for some rats. The soldiers doubted that this was just a prank call. It could be a trap, but they had no choice. One of the commanding officers barked orders at a soldier. "Wang! Go investigate! Check the armory and report back immediately!" The soldier named Wang immediately yelled "SIR, YES SIR!" before heading down from the guard tower and making his way to the armory.
With his rifle in hand, Wang made his way towards the armory. As he got closer, Wang hid behind a nearby wall and looked in the direction of the armory to check for anything suspicious. Of course, he did not see the trio of villains, as they were all hidden from sight. However, he did notice the woman with the dragon mutation quirk. Holy shit, an intruder! He also saw the truck. It did not take long for Wang to put two and two together. Wang took out his walkie-talkie and began notifying the officer. "Sir, there's an intruder keeping watch outside the armory! One of those quirked freaks! There's probably more of them inside! I also see a transport truck. I think we're being robbed!"
The commanding officer was shocked. Who in the hell had the balls to try to steal from the military?! It didn't matter. The thieves had to be eliminated. "Wang, wait there! Do not engage the enemy just yet! I'll send some backup, since we don't know the enemy's numbers. Once backup arrives, move in and shoot down every last one of them! And check that truck as well!" After that, the officer barked at the other soldiers. "Go meet up with Wang and shoot down every last intruder! Go!" The other soldiers saluted and cried out. "SIR, YES SIR!" The soldiers then moved out to rendezvous with Wang and eliminate the unknown threat.
While that was happening, Alaster smiled, wishing that he had some popcorn to eat while watching the chaos unfold.

Meiko notified the authorities. She was glad she had the voice distortion filter because in all honesty, she forgot about that. Finishing her call she snuck back to Alaster who whispered that she did excellent work. She was so happy to hear that a tear actually formed in her eye at how happy she was. Meiko just nodded and didnt wanna make noise, she savoured this moment.
She stood hidden with Alaster and watched the soldiers do their thing. The soldier called Wang investigated and spotted one of the people, it was the dragon girl. And the truck of course. Getting his shit together he went to notify his superior and get proper backup. Meiko just quietly waited

Nick grimaced in a most bitter fashion. The three words ‘this isn’t right’ played through his mind over and over, causing his soul to sink deeper into himself each time.
It’s just not. How can I become a beacon for the Quirked if I throw away our lives like this?
Even worse, it was his plan they were now likely to die by. He heard the first of the soldiers arrive to investigate the situation and squeezed himself between two crates to better hide himself, being sure to breathe as quietly as possible. As he crouched there he felt a sudden surge of anger towards himself for the guilt and regret he was experiencing.
Damn it, what the hell is wrong with me? Why am I thinking such things? This is their chance to prove that they are stronger than the Quirkless, and if they’re so weak as to die to them then they deserved it. If they live, it’s their chance to prove how strong they are to me. ‘Survival of the fittest’, remember, you idiot? And you’re the fittest. Snap out of it and focus. All this because of a pretty face…
Even so, he could not stand to watch.

Empty PocketsTHEY CALL ME DEVIL, AND YOU SHOULD BE AFRAID The trio continued their work and checked the crates of weapons. Some of them were set aside while others were left alone since they did not have what the group was looking for. Alastor, Meiko, and Nick did not get noticed at all. Their movement s were handled well and went undetected. However, the same couldn't be said for the guard, Wang. He was in the guard tower and that was one position that the trio was paying attention two. One the dragon girl noticed that no one was in the tower, she got suspicious. It wasn't time for a change in shifts just yet, so why was the guard leaving his post. She turned around and clasped her hands together with a big smile. "Perimeter check!" She yelled out in an attempt to made her two comrades jump. However, she was met with a hand being slapped over her mouth and a shushing sound as the larder made shook his head. "If you are going to be loud, we won't bring you next time." He complained before standing up straight. "Load up the crates, it's time to go." Whatever it might e, it was best not to dwell for too long.
They'd have to leave sooner than they wanted, but it was better than possibly getting into a huge firefight. So the hooded man and the dragon girl started to move the crates toward the truck while the final guy exited the tent to get a look at what was going on. He checked the area their truck was in first before walking around, and of course, found Wang. The soldier's back was turned away from the man, so he was swift in his movements. What was important to notice about his was that he was quiet. His steps were quiet and his movements were precise. It was the signs of someone that knew how to fight hand to hand well. And with a quick dash, the man jabbed his first into the side of Wang's left ribs. Again, the impact was quiet and for a moment, neither of them moved. But then, after a short pause, a beige foam started to bubble from Wang's mouth just before he fell to the ground unconscious. He wasn't dead, but he was definitely out of commission. A knocked out soldier gathered far less ire from the military than a dead one.
However, the man could only assume that they had been spotted now. If he was a soldier, the first thing he would have done was contact someone else, so the man figured it was the right choice to leave now. "We've got to go right now!" He called out, only to have the dragon girl pipe up immediately in response. "Look who's being loud now!" Their banter, while unnecessary showed that they were putting a priority on escape rather than defending their position. They needed to be on the move. The man went in to help them load up the crate and they so that they'd be ready to leave as soon as possible. Likewise, a squad was moving on on their location to arrest the intruders that they had on the base. A conflict was coming and the area was becoming hot. However, success wasn't there just yet.

Alaster wished that he could see more clearly what was happening. Although the back of the tent provided excellent cover, it was difficult to see what was going on. At least, it was difficult if Alaster was determined to stay hidden, which was indeed the case at the moment. He needed a sign. Some kind of way to know when it was time to make his move.
That sign came in the form of a female voice suddenly yelling the words "Perimeter check". Seeing as it was not Meiko speaking to him, Alaster deduced that it must be one of the robbers, undoubtedly alerting her comrades of the approaching soldiers. So the robbers were making their move, apparently making the choice to flee rather than fight. It was a smart tactic, but the military would no doubt try their hardest to stop the intruders from getting away that easily.
As Alaster made a very quick peek from behind the tent, he noticed two people moving crates towards their getaway truck. One person was hooded, the other was a female who looked like she had a dragon mutation quirk. As he quickly hid back in cover so as not to be spotted, Alaster's attention turned to the truck itself. He began thinking. What if he, Meiko, and Nick use the truck itself as a getaway vehicle? Let the robbers load up the truck as much as they could, and then as the military fought them, the trio of villains move in, steal the truck, and drive away with all the loot. If the soldiers and robbers did tire each other out to the point where Alaster, Meiko, and Nick could kill them all, then the truck would be a very convenient way to carry everything to the drop-off point. If this plan worked, then great! If not, Alaster would just lose an advantage he never even expected to have in the first place.
Still, things could always go wrong. What if the truck was destroyed or rendered useless by the soldiers' gunfire? What if one side crushed the other so efficiently that they were still more than capable of fighting? It was important to have a backup plan in case the main plan fell apart, a backup for that backup plan, and a backup for that backup.
Meanwhile, the soldiers moved in closer. One of them spotted Wang on the floor and ran towards his unconscious body. "Shit, they got Wang!" After checking his pulse and confirming that Wang was still alive, the soldier yelled to his fellow comrades. "I'll take Wang to medical. Continue the objective!" The other soldiers continued to move towards the armory, determined to shoot down the intruders and make them pay for having the audacity to try to attack a military base.
Once they arrived on scene, the soldiers spotted the robbers attempting to load the crates onto their truck. Immediately, they began to open fire on them. "DROP THE CRATES NOW!" While half of the soldiers were shooting, the other half moved towards the truck to secure the crates. If any of the robbers tried to make a move to stop them, these soldiers would begin firing as well.
As the sounds of bullets being fired pounded Alaster's ears (he was very grateful that he did not forget his earplugs at home), Alaster just watched the truck, hoping that a stray bullet did not puncture any of the wheels. It was already going to be a challenge getting out of here. They did not need things to be more difficult than it had to be.
At the moment, both robbers and soldiers were occupied, meaning that no one was currently looking in the direction of the villainous trio. Taking advantage of this window of opportunity, Alaster signaled to Nick to come over to where he and Meiko were waiting. Alaster wanted to share his thoughts with the other two. Although the gunfire was enough to drown out the noise, Alaster spoke quietly to make sure that his voice would not give away the villains' location and presence to the robbers and military.
"Okay, here's what I'm thinking. If that truck is still intact by the time those two groups are done fighting, we take it with us. It's far larger than our own vehicle, so why not take advantage of that to bring more things with us? If not, then we just continue with our plan. Anyway, let's just keep our eyes open and wait for our chance to strike."
Alaster continued to keep his eyes on both the truck and the fighting, while still making sure he and his allies were hidden from view. It was not yet time for them to make their appearance known to the others. However, that time would come soon.
