What was she doing here again? Chise sat down by the entrance to one of the training buildings, holding her phone in hand. G had said she wanted to train with the girl since the last time they had gotten together was just talking and relaxing. It had been a while since she last trained, sure she had made sure to keep up her regimen of going to work out at least 3 days a week, sometimes 4 depending on how she was feeling. She juggled through school work, classes, and club activities but she wouldn't go back on her promise. She was getting better day by day, at least she liked to think that. Maybe today would be the day where G could teach her some more. Since the military was here, it was a great way for him to come and train since no one would think it was suspicious of him being there.
Chise had trained here once before with the Lieutenant, the session having been emotional but strengthening for her. She still had doubts about herself but suppressed those for now, if she could just get stronger, she could prove to others that she had what it takes to be a hero just like the rest of them. Chise closed her eyes and hugged her bag and phone close to her chest with a smile on her face. Maybe she could be a hero that everyone needs but no one knows about. Working behind the scenes to protect the people of Japan while they continued living their peaceful lives. She didn't need recognition or praise, just knowing she did a good job would be enough for the red haired beauty. A soft sigh left her lips as she thought about the possible future while she waited for her teacher to arrive.

G arrived shortly after Chise. He was a bit lost as he hasnt been in this military camp, at least not much. But he was ready to train. Chise worked a lot on her body strength, perhaps she could learn how to fight. Maybe some technique?
"Hey Chise!" he greeted Chise as he saw her and waved to her. He walked over and asked "Are you ready to train?" When he first greeted Chise, he tried his best not to sneak up on her to pick her up and hug her. They were Master and Student now. Friendship needed a back seat. Well... not really. If there was no friendhsip he wouldnt be showing her this
"Hey. Do you know your way around here? Do you know of an arena where I can show you moves you could learn?" he asked her as he assumed that she might be more familiar with this place "We dont need to fight soldiers. I just need to show you techniques you could use. And if we fight people, we have to move fast. I wanna take it slow and show you step by step how to do a real technique. Granted, this will be my first time doing this since Im self taught. So I may not be the best teacher"

The redhead was brought out of her thoughts when she heard a familiar face speak up. Chise blinked and looked up, seeing her teacher standing before her with a grin on his face. Chise smiled and stood up, brushing herself off before speaking up, "A-Ah sorry G! I got distracted and was daydreaming. Ah yes I'm ready to train! I was actually looking forward to training today," she said with a grin, even making sure to come prepared in the appropriate gym attire. Her pink athletic tank top matched with her black and pink athletic pants and grey tennis shoes. She was ready for a day of training!
Did she know her way around? She did get lost from time to time but she had been to this facility before so she at least knew what some, if not most, of the things were in this facility. "A-Ahh yeah! This building here has lots of training areas for people to go and spar or even just practice. They have weights like the gym has and the have weapons like guns and knives. A-Although, all we really need is a place to train. Thankfully here, there's lots of open space to practice," Chise said, quite excited about the current situation. She listened as he explained he wanted to take things slow at first so she could get the hang of things before actually going to fight villains. "Starting slow is fine, gotta get the hang of something before actually doing it now," the peach haired girl said with a small chuckle. Chise took G's hand and led him into the building, walking in to see the vast amount of space the facility held. "The training rooms are back this way," the violet eyed girl said, taking G to the south west wing of the building where the sparing rooms were. Thankfully there was an empty room on the end, away from where most of the action was. Chise walked in and set her bag down off to the side before turning to G. "I'm ready whenever you are Genzu-san~!" she said with a warm mile on her face.

"When it comes to weapons or if it comes to weapons, we'll stick with the wooden ones. But for now...Lead the way." he said And with that he followed Chise to some training area. Along the way as they were walking. He motioned one of the privates to follow him. G needed someone so he could show the moves and tecniques to Chise. He's not gonna perform on her! When they arrived and Chise told him she was ready. G took a deep breath "Ok ok. You can do this. You can do this!" he thought to himself And thus he started "So today. I'm gonna try teaching you Kapu Kuialua or Lua for short. Lua is the bone breaking and joint dislocating martial art of the hawaiian chiefs. I use it as a basis for my own fighting style. With time you will develop your own fighting style. But to do that you need a basis, a fighting style that already has techniques and form. Otherwise you'll just be flailing your fists like an angry baby" G explained He then gave a slow demonstration of what she would be doing. And then he called the soldier a private that he called for example. Since this was all martial arts and no quirk, no one would be bothered really. "Ok. So, the key to do anything is to grab their hand like this." G said as he held his 'opponents' hand "You always gotta grab and hold the opponents hand. And with that plenty of options open for you. You can do this. Or this. Watch" he said as he showed her

Chise stood off to the side as G and one of the military men demonstrated G's fighting technique to her. Kapu Kuali? Kapa Klulua? The named seemed rather confusing but thankfully there was a shorter name to call it by, Chise might have pronounced it wrong every time had there not been. Lua, a bone breaking, joint dislocating martial arts technique. Hopefully it wasn't all too difficult to master, it sounded a lot more intimidating since it was not Japanese, or perhaps it was the opposite, who knew. G said he would teach her the basics and from there she could mold it into her own style of fighting. The thought of making her own martial arts form sounded nice! Maybe she'd develop something really cool as she continued her journey of being a hero.
The redhead's curious eyes watched as G demonstrated one f the first few moves, always making sure to grab the person by the wrist. From there, it had seemed like she could do many different attacks from just grabbing the other's hand, limiting their movement. She could force their head back, elbow them in the jaw, reach around to dislocate their arm, attacking their gut with a jab, even going for attacking the groin was an option. It seemed like there were vast possibilities for attack just from that one simple action. She felt a little bad for the military private, hopefully G wouldn't hurt him too badly. "Do you always start with grabbing their hand or are there others ways to start off as well?" The poofy haired girl asked, raising her hand in the air just as she would in a classroom setting.

"Not necesarilly. But thats something I usually go with. You can also counterattack like this is your foe tries to punch you" G says and demonstrates how to avoid getting punched and how to punch someone in the teeth or nose. "But you can also do this" immobilizes the arm and then 'kicks' or 'knees' in the stomach area Then he shows more examples that dont involve really grabbing a foe, but more like counterattacking after their opponets failed attack. He also shows what not to do. After showing her a few more examples. He figures its time for to focus on 1 specific technique to teach to Chise. "But which one... gah.. Im really not a good teacher" he thinks to himself "Right, so personally. Lets start with grabbing your foe. And then elbowing them in a jaw. You can use it on me. But of course not literally. We'll do it a couple of times slow motion, until you get the hang of it. And then when you do. We'll find a dummy that you can wail on" G explained He went to show his intended move they would practice 2 more times, before walking up to Chise "Ok. show me what you got"

Chise's eyes lit up as she watched G spar with the military trainee, mentally taking not of all the different ways she could attack and counter attack. It would take some practice but hopefully she would be able to retain something today. It definitely seemed like whoever the target was of this martial arts, they would definitely walk out with some sort of pain afterward. She wondered if this technique would even work for her since she was shorter compared to most people. She couldn't just bring a stepstool to help her fight, that'd be pretty ridiculous.
The redhead listened as G said to demonstrate one of the attacks on him, growing a bit worried about hurting him. She had to practice somehow and she supposed since G was offering, it was alright to practice on him. Plus, he could easily tell her if she was doing anything wrong or not. Chise walked over to G and nodded, getting ready in a fighting stance sort of position. This was just training, she would not actually hurt him...right? "Alright," she said, centering herself before she did as G instructed, grabbing his hand and moving her arm to jab him in the jaw but not actually as she was just going through the motions with no force behind her action. She stepped back and did this a few more times, even throwing a sneak attack of hitting him in the gut, but not actually. The element of surprise was always something good to have on your side. Once she got the technique down, she'd be able to let loose and fully attack on a dummy of sorts. She wouldn't want to bruise up G with an accidental attack. Chise stepped back and turned to G, having done the motions a few times and felt like she got a good hang of it. "How was that, sensei?" she asked, wanting his honest opinion.

When it was time for Chise to actually learn how to fight, he offered himself. She had to let her try the motions, the techniques on him. Just to see if her grip was good, if her movement was good and if her overall technique was good. Luckily for G, it seemed that Chise was a quick and excellent learner. The way she replicated what was shown was amazing. It didnt take that long to get her first technique down "Chise you were great! And I mean it. Excellent. A good grip, great movement. You got that one down. Now to make it full speed and you'll show some bozo's what pain means" he praised his star student. And now since he has Akio, he really means STAR student.
G then got Chise a combat dummy of a sort so she could try the same technique, but this time with full speed and force. She has been training and lifting weights and building up some muscle. Surely she could dish out some pain and not hurt her hand. G like a proud and eager dad, eagerly watched how Chise would perform This was not the same Chise who would hurt her hand trying to punch a punching bag. This was now his pupil he was proud of. His friend. And a future hero

The praise the girl received lifted her self confidence up +5, overjoyed to hear she was doing a great job for her first time. It wasn't as if he was saying what he did to say it, he truly meant every word he said. A soft chuckle left her mouth as she listened to G praise her for her technique. Now that she had one technique down, perhaps now it was time to put it to action, put some force behind it and see what her training has done for her since their first training session.
The violet eyes of the girl watched as G left the room for a moment, grabbing a training dummy for her to practice her moves on. Perhaps if she masters using the technique on the training dummy, she could put her moves to action on a real person as if she were truly fighting a villain or bad guy. Chise stepped closer and took the dummy from G, centering herself as she had before. Once she was comfortable, she grabbed the dummy's wrist and pulled him in close, lining up her elbow with the dummy's jaw and striking with as much force as she could, the recoil not hurting as bad as when she first hit that punching bag. "Haaaaa!" she yelled as she hit the dummy, using the verbal action to seemingly emphasize the physical action of the attack.
She centered herself once more before going back in and repeating the same move a few times before stopping, thinking of which move to do next. She grabbed the dummy's wrist once more and this time went for an attack to the gut, pulling back and attacking the gut and head, pushing back and attacking each one after the other, centering herself each time. The verbal actions coming from the girl seemed in her mind to make her just a bit stronger. Could that be a hidden part of her quirk? Motivation? Probably not but whatever it was, it seemed to work for the redhead.

Not just like a proud Master, but like a proud father watching his daugter, he was very happy, amazed and proud of the progress Chise was making. This was why they agreed to train. It wasnt just for gaining muscle or lifting weights. It was to learn how to fight and defend yourself. Finally that portion of training came, and Chise was aceing it. If there was a word beyond proud, that would be G.
She even had her cute little yell or chant that motivated her to work harder to fight harder. Hitting the dummy didnt hurt her or at least it wasnt a visible pain that made her stop right away, like the time with the punching bag. Chise made real progress. And considering G was a bad teacher, he was so proud of her.
G watched her perform and train for a while. She had to do this a bunch of times to get the hang of the technique, to make it feel normal or natural to her. Once or twice was not enough. She needed to know this. At first it was like learning a lesson, but in time this would be instinct, she wont need to think, she'll do it. "After this we'll take 5" G thought to himself as he proceeded to watch Chise a bit more

Chise kept at it for a bit longer, striking the training dummy before pulling back and centering herself. She tried pulling a combo or two but mostly stuck with the basic steps that G taught her until he showed her something else. "Haaaaa!" she screamed again, grabbing the dummy's wrist and striking it's head with the palm of her hand this time. She pulled away and did this a few more times before she pulled away to take a break. She looked at the dummy and slightly panted, a bit of sweat dripping down her face from having put a good amount of force behind her attacks.
The peach haired girl looked over to G and gave him a small smile before going over to her bag, grabbing the towel out of it before wiping her face clear of sweat. She definitely hadn't worked out like this before, she already felt gross and sweaty. The violet eyed school girl grabbed her water bottle out of her bag and took a sip, pulling it back to catch her breath before she took a few more sips. She set her water bottle down and went back over to G, "W-What now G?" she asked, wondering if she should just take 5 or if she should keep going now. Whatever he thought was best she would do, no matter how tired she would get.

He watched her work diligently. She was very determined to learn, and G believed that Chise could master this and be a Pro in no time. After her excercise she grabbed a water bottle to hydrate and freshen up. After which she asked what would she do next "Take 5. You worked great. Now you have to rest. Cant let you over work yourself" he told her and motioned her to sit so she could rest
G would go and stand beside her "I am liking your progress. You're gonna be the pride of your class in no time. In fact, I bet you already are" he said as he complimented her "Who would've thunk that a rando girl from a beach was gonna be my badass student" G thought to himself as he remembered how he met Chise
He could also see that her training paid off well for her arms. No longer were they soft noodle spaghetti arms. They were gaining some muscle and form G then asked the standard master or parent question "So... how's school going for ya?" It was something he'd ocassionally ask in case she needed some help. But it was also a way to fill her in on what happened with Kasey when he confronted her

A break? That sounded amazing! With a soft sigh, Chise sat down on the tatami mats to take her small break. She didn't know what G would teach her next, but she was excite nonetheless. His comment about her being the pride of her class made her chuckle, finding his thinking to be quite funny. "Really? I highly doubt that G. There are more capable students in my class other than me. I might be getting stronger, but I wouldn't say I was the 'pride' of my class now," The redhead said in return with a big smile on her face. G certainly knew how to cheer a girl up, not that she was sad or anything, she was quite the opposite.
His next question seemed a bit unusual for what they were doing, asking her about school and not about anything pertaining to training or working out. "School is good. Classes are good. Some...interesting things had happened but it's nothing to worry about," the violet eyed girl said, her cheeks growing warm at the thought of what had recently happened to the poofy haired schoolgirl. "A-Ahh anyway. How has your progress with Goliath gone? I miss seeing the little cutie~ Is he learning and getting stronger? Did you find out any more about his current state?" Chise asked with wide, hopeful eyes. She hoped her buddy was doing well, she missed him. In a way, she missed the teething and drooling, wanting to see tiny Goliath and pamper him just for a little bit. Maybe after her training she'd be able to.

"Somehow I doubt it. I dont think anyone can fight as good as you" G said. As he doubted any General Studies student could fight and take someone down like her. He did meet Haruto long before he met Chise. But that boy doesnt look like he could do anything. Like even hurt a fly. Though, truth be told he hasnt met anyone else, other then Chise's teacher, whats-her-face bee woman. He forgot her name.
She said that school was good but that something happened, which made him raise his brow "What? Interesting good or interesting bad?" he asked
Later she focused on asking him about Goliath "Its all emotions and personality. Thats how his state changes. I'm still recovering. Im not an emotional wreck as before. But... time heals wounds. Goliath and I are recovering. Or well... I should say Bones, since this is the nickname for the currenct form" G said
He moved back on the school subject "Though, I gotta say. You dont have to worry about Kasey. I talked to her. I have resolved some things and misunderstandings. She's not a Villain. She's a Vigilante, like me. But only more extreme. She wants to take down Villains from the inside, thats why she said she works for bad guys. Its just she decided to confess to me when I was this emotional wreck that I only heard like half of her and got hung up on all the wrong things" he admitted

The happy go lucky girl couldn't help the smile that arose on her face thanks to the compliments she received from G. Even though she knew that none of this was true to her, even though G might disagree, it was nice to live in a small false sense of security, even if just for a little bit. "Nonsense, there are plenty of kids who are just as strong if not stronger than me. I'm just starting to get my barings and learn the proper technique to fight. Knowing them, they probably have years worth of training underneath their belts," Chise told her teacher, she was still rather weak compared to most kids at her school. If she could just get better than maybe one day...
Did he really have to stay on that topic? She thought he would forget about it. If she didn't tell him now he might just keep asking. She was going against the promise she made and she didn't want to do that...even though her secret was a bit embarrassing. "I-It's nothing bad....I-I just got asked out by one of my classmates is all. Nothing for you to worry about," Chise said with a sheepish smile, heat rising to her cheeks as she thought back to the memory. Then the topic was changed back to Goliath, the redhead listening as G told her he was still recovering so Bones wasn't back to being Goliath just yet. Time still had to heal G's former wounds.
Then G talked about a subject in which Chise had almost forgotten, the issue with Kas. So it sounded like she wasn't a villain but a Vigilante instead, that was good to hear at least! She takes down those evildoers from the inside, worming her way in before going for the kill. "A-Ahh, that's a relief to hear," the violet eyed girl said with a relieved smile, glad to hear her friend was not evil after all.
