"So this part goes...here?" "Y-yeah thats right..." Having heard about this little military camp from her friends, Yumi was curious to see what all the fuss was about. A lot of her classmates seemed to be checking it out, some seriously, other treating it like a field trip of some sort. For Yumi, it was admittadly more of the latter. She still wasn't fully committed to being a hero, but with her confidence building with each day, who knew. Maybe her quirk had military applications. Heck, electrical currents could deflect bullets if they were powerful enough, she could be one heck of a military badass if she put her mind to it. Right now she was with one of the armies engineers, a meek fella by the name of Shinichi. He'd been nearby one of the demonstration tables set up to entertain the visitors to the camp and was currently showing Yumi how to put together one of their standard issue rifles, filled with blanks of course, just to make sure no one hurt themselves (away from the official shooting range at least.). Sadly for the engineer, or happily depending on your point of view, Yumi was being a bit more of a distraction than a good student. Each time she asked for a bit more guidance on how to put the rifle together, Shinichi had to pull his eyes from her cleavage. As Yumi tended to, her disregard for social norms had lead to her attending the military camp in what could only be defined as Military cosplay, wearing a dark green Bikini top, a utility strap around her midrift, and some camo pattern cargo pants with some nice boots, some shades even up in her hair to complete a kinda cool guy military look. She tugged one of the pieces of the gun into place, Shinichi squeaking as it made her loosely confined chest jostle a bit, before looking down the sights and smiling. "Hey that didn't take me too long huh?~" "N-no...not at all..." Even as Yumi beemed up at him, he didn't have the heart, or even had he himself realized they'd been at this for almost half an hour. Yumi had noticed him being distracted a few times, but she didn't mind. A lot of the boys here were probably seeing this as a vacation themselves since while they were here, they weren't actually doing official military work, so if she was a bit of eye candy, she didn't mind at all!~ Sure some of them clearly thought her outfit was a bit of a mockery to the military, but the rest certainly seemed to appreciate it, and she appreciated their attention!~ Swinging the gin against her shoulder, her other hand against her hip, she gave the engineer a big smirk. "I'm not much of a gun girl, but gotta say, feel a bit badass putting it together myself...!~" The engineer meekly smiled back, and Yumi pulled the gun back infront of her, looking it over and humming. "Now how do i start pulling it apa-HEY!" Looking over the meek man's shoulder, Yumi dropped the gun, jolting as a loud bang sounded as it fired one of it's blanks, Shinichi jolting and whining as he knew he'd probably get told off for letting that happen all the same. Yumi went back to excitement right away, pushing up off the table she'd laid the gun on and waving her hand up in the air over the engineer's head, spotting one of her fellow students she knew well. "MAXI! HEEEEY!~" She tapped down on the table and tried to get him to come over. "This guy is teaching us how to put guns together!~" "W-well Actually I'm meant to be detailing the details this is really meant to be a do it yourse-" He stopped talking as his eyes caught Yumi again, chuckling nervously, not toooo eager to leave his teaching role just yet. "Oh i can spare a few more minutes i suppose..."

Someone who was actually keeping more to himself, away fromt he engineers and other personnel for the time being was actually Maximillian Tychus Kane. The boy, unwilling to show the extent of his deep love for guns and armament, stemming from his even deeper love for anime, a lot of which included military-themed stuff, one even being about schoolkids using guns to escape some sort of warden, he didn't particularly remember as it had been quite a long time since he watched it, he always wanted to hold one: to fire one.
This event presented itself almost as a blessing given to him by the ever-loving god above that gifted him with so many things: friends, friends with big tits, friends with cute faces, adventures, good ice cream, good anime, good food in general and, now, a chance to actually fire a gun. To feel its recoil, its power -- to use his quirk and see just how cool he could look while doing it. With the Armory being the first place where he'd actually go to, he was already looking through the guns: all filled with blanks, since he hadn't gone to the range yet. It was just for one to hold, to feel, to see.
Maximillian was quite quick to do as he wanted: going to the selection of handguns, he looked over them, rubbing his chin quietly while ice began forming around the guns. Small parts, just enough to lift them -- it worked. He didn't know why it wouldn't work, though he still had the fear that it just wouldn't, for some reason. Simply put, once he lifted the four handguns off of their table, hands free, much to the quiet interest of some of the personnel present, he danced them around his person, a gleeful smile taking the young boy's face.
While doing this, his whole body shot up, startled by the sudden scream of his name, taking a second to recognize the name. By instinct, he turned his head back to Yumi, all the handguns that, to this moment, had just been flying around him, all pointed directly towards her. Even if they were blanks, it was quite a sight: people usually used just one gun. Some of the crazier ones used two. To be holding four without even using his hands was indeed, as stated, a sight. Maxi took a little while to realize just what his quirk was doing without his knowledge, quickly moving them back to the table, chuckling nervously. "Good god, Yumi, ya scared me, love! You want me to go learn how to put a gun together, sure." Quite a quick reply, since he really had no reason to reject it: it was seeing how to put a gun up together and a chance to spend time with Yumi, his second favorite girl ever. That was not a spot that was easy to achieve either.

Maybe calling out to him while he was holding what looked like 4 guns at once wasn't the best idea, but the blank shot of her own rifle had already steadied her nerves against Maxi's own little shock, and soon enough she was just throwing him a bright smile as she gestured for him to come over, holding up her gun but not yet presenting it as he spoke first. "hhehe, sorry about that, guess I should be more careful about my little outbursts...and handling live equipment." She smirked a little nervously at the engineer who was rubbing the back of his neck, knowing he should be somewhere else but also knowing this new kid might need some guidance beyond the instructions like Yumi had.
"Oh it's not technically live given it's holding blanks, but it can technically fire when loaded so I suppose you're also right in a way."
Yumi nodded along, not actually sure if she'd ended up right or wrong but not about to question it, instead she turned back to Maxi, proudly holding the weapon she'd put together up and pulling the load...thingy, like she'd been taught to, an empty shell leaving the gun with a satisfying 'cluck' sound with a little rattle as the shell hit the floor. "Look what I managed to do! I've never even seen a gun in person before!" She grinned wide, while not a fan of guns in concept she could at least take immense pride in what she'd done, though as Maxi stood near her, her pride faded briefly as the shiver his presence brought finally reached her spine, shivering and jolting to catch her gun as she nearly dropped it again, chuckling at the engineer with a nervous smile as he'd nearly dived over the table himself.
"heh, sorry..."
"No worries...shit its cold...you guys okay if I go tell 'em to turn the heatin up?"
Yumi knew what the cause was and also knew the heating would probably do little beyond make Maxi uncomfortable, so she looked to him to see if he wanted to explain things himself.

Maximillian listened to what both said quite attentively, actually. Guns were something he had grown invested in so, when Yumi showed him that she had slapped together a sniper rifle like that, doing the classic movement of pulling the loading pin to reload the gun and that casing just popping out, clinking against the ground, he couldn't help but be impressed with it. He should learn how to put up a gun together, even if he'd never actually use a gun in an actual fight! Knowledge was never too much to have and, honestly, it could be cool to show someone his skills.
Though, what is good never lasts, specially around the literal arctic battery that Maximillian was, whose semblance dropped quite quickly. Not one of rage or sadness, just stern dissapointment. Even in the days where the army would accept quirkeds to come, they were starkly unprepared for it, even their engineer, the supposed "smart man" of their weapons divisions couldn't figure out quickly enough that it was Maximillian's presence that made everything be cold. "Oh, I'll turn it the fuck up." With that said, Maxi simply walked backwards, away from the two, just enough for eight metres in between them, letting them feel the heat quickly return to them, his hands raising themselves up into the air sarcastically, like a VERY unimpressed "ta-daa", as if what he had just done was actual magic.
He didn't say anything else, actually; not for now. Instead, he stared directly into the very soul of the stuttering engineer, quietly waiting for him to realize that the reason things were cold was because of the ICE-POWERED QUIRKED and his presence. He'd also give him time to realize that his lack of foresight and incredibly shitty preparation to deal with all types of quirked people on the very camp open to quirked people had actually offended someone, while in any other circumstance he'd just play it off. Maximillian did not forgive any incompetence.

Yumi had been a little nervous when that question had been asked, but as she spotted how much more it affected Maxi...well at first she felt a little bad for him, but turning her eyes to the engineer, watching the gears start to click in his head as the chill on his skin faded and he noticed the pissed off look in Maxi's eyes, it all settled in and his eyes turned wide, cupping his hands together and bowing his head with a huge flustered blush. "O-oh god! I'm so so so sorry sir! I-I meant no offense whatsoever I promise!"
Yumi now felt a little bad for both of them, maxi for his quirk being accidentally pointed out like that, and the engineer because, really, how was he supposed to know what just happened? its not like quirkers were wearing badges reading "hello, make me angry and I turn into a tesla coil." or the like. As such she turned her eyes to Maxi, not quite glaring at him, but in a sort of 'oh come on' manner as she stepped towards him, lightly knocking his abs with the back of her hand, her eyes narrowing a little but the faint smirk she held showing she didn't really hold it against him either, especially with how he seemed to think everyone around him was made uncomfortable by his quirk.
"Come on dude, its not like he could have none." She looked to the engineer himself and shrugged a little either way, gesturing from him to Maxi. "All the same though maybe just...try and think of causality a bit more. Dude walks over, it gets cold, your inviting quirkers to the place...fuckin' math dude."
The engineer bowed his head, rubbing the back of his neck and nodding softly. "Y-you're right ma'am...I should have thought...m-my deepest apologies to you both."
Yumi nodded back a little more firmly, and shot Maxi a look as she folded her own arms. She didn't expect him to apologize really, but she'd like it if he did. Sure he had reason to be upset, but she'd seen him in the UA chat and even a few times in person be more than a little stand-offish, and rumors fromt he music night made it sound like he'd had a part to play in the ruckus before it settled, so she'd like to see at least a little humility if the soft glare of a red head could bring it from him.

Maximillian was not really feeling like forgiving a military quirkless person for such insolence and lack of tact, though the engineer in particular that had wronged him was clearly not a bad person. If anything, he seemed like the kind who would shit himself if Maximillian got genuinely angry and started showing signs of using his powers: it always happened whenever he got particularly mad and readied himself for battle.
The air always got even colder, a slow mist picked up around the level of his waist and, to finish it off, his golden eyes would gain a light glow.
Imagine if that happened. The poor defenseless engineer might actually just pass and see the pearly gates. Looking back at Yumi, lowering his shoulders and semblance, unable to stay mad anymore, specially with Yumi basically asking him with that cute, though strong gaze to simply accept the engineer's apology. Rubbing his face, his golden eyes stared directly at his, sighing. "I--I'm sorry for overreacting. I expected too much from a society that's still growing accostumed to quirkers, I should be patient while we all get used to each other." It was something he had to come to terms with every day, actually. It was a simple fact that a huge majority of the population still wasn't used to quirked people, their powers, how it affects the world around them. Even the army was to be forgiven from a goof or two like that.
What mattered was that they reached a common ground, with Maximillian bowing as he had learned from Japan's culture. Standing right back up, he shifted his eyes to look at Yumi, tilting his head just a bit while opening his hands. A gesture to ask her if she was pleased with his apology, with the fact that he kept control over himself and simply accepted the apology without a fuss.

Yumi was glad he apologized back and smiled between the two. The bow was maybe a bit much, but Yumi herself just didn't tend to follow such customs. She'd bowed very few times in her life as a form of apology, and they were all extreme circumstances. A few more times she'd done it jokingly repeatedly in mimicry of some anime style comedy, but seriously...last time was probably to the divers that rescued her and Darren from their little escapade the other day...yeah. That sounds about right.
"Well so long as everyone's getting along.~" She looked between them again, hands behind her back as she lightly bounced up onto her toes and back down onto the flat of her feet, a little oblivious both to any remaning feelings between the two of them, and the light bounce her motion caused in her chest. "Ya know its like erm...oh! The first time cars got heated seats! They were still cars, and everyone was fine around them, but then suddenly your butt starts warming up in your friends car and you dunno why! Only instead of cars, it's people like us." She gestured between herself and Maxi. "And instead of butt warming, it's butt cooling...or zapping...or burning...depends on the context!~" She gave a big playful shrug, sticking her tongue out and tipping her body to one side as she tried to be a little comical. It was a hard analogy to make, it was hard to sort of...explain something that didn't look like it should do a thing, and then doing it, but he car thing seemed close enough to her.
Still, to cheer Maxi up a bit, she stepped closer and hugged his arm, not realizing the effect his chilling contact against her chest would have while she was just wearing a bikini. She offered him a warm smile and just tried to bush past the tense situation for him. "So Maxi-poo.~ What you been up to?~ Enjoying this little base opening like the rest of the school?"

Well, everything was well when it ended well, though now he had to actually try and figure out just what the fuck was Yumi trying to tell him with that terribly weird, frankly nonsensical analogy that he still kinda understood. The presence of quirked people should be a presence that keeps everything essentially the same, though a good improvement none the less that is really noticed in certain situations. At least, that's what he could actually understand from the words that, honestly, he couldn't classify it as anything other than the adorable mad ramblings of a silly head Yumi.
No matter the meaning, he at least got her intentions and that was to lift everyone's spirits. Maybe she intended on it sounding that silly and weird, so that they'd focus on that and not the differences that set them apart. If that was so, Yumi might just be way smarter than Maxi was ever lead to believe. One day, he'll figure it out.
It wasn't going to be today at all, since the bikini-clad Yumi hugged herself to his arm, pressing his cold limb against her much warmer body, the boy's eyes averting themselves from what was about to poke through that bikini. Instead, he looked straight ahead and thought about what he could answer her. If he were to say that he had just recovered from frostbite he was afflicted with just from using his quirk to excitedly check out everything he could, would he believe it? Well, she should, he isn't one to lie, even if he was already doing that shit all over again with the guns. At least, he was being careful this time. "More than you'd believe. I just got my hands treated for stage one frostbite just from over-using my quirk to check everything I could. Yeah, this "base opening" has been a real wonderland for me." He assured her, giggling a little while making sure she stayed close to him. If she was simply going to press herself to him, he sure as shit was going to make sure he enjoyed it. "And you, love? Have you been enjoying your time?"

Yumi frowned just a little at the fact he'd pushed himself so far. The most she'd done with her quirk was ruin a few items of clothing and left herself feeling like she'd had a hangover, which was saying something cause she'd never drank a drop of alcohol in her life, so she had no idea what that should actually feel like. Still hearing that Maxi had pushed himself so far as to actually give himself, a boy who saw this cold chill as 'normal' a form of frostbite...she reached a hand into his waist and pinched a bit of his waist between her knuckles as she shot him a light glare. "Oi you, you shouldn't be doing crap like that..." She said, despite the two very dumb things she'd done her first few days at the base with Darren. She still got sharp glares from the people running the railgun exhibit.
With a soft sigh she pulled back a little all the same, looking him up and down, gently lifting his forearm as she for some reason imagined it'd have been focused in his hands if he had frostbite, though she did subtly roll up any sleeve he had just a little to see how his burn scars had been doing, given they were fairly fresh the last time she'd seen them. She shot him a look with a soft pout and a low eyed 'glare' of concern. "You better have learned something cool from it at least..."

Maxi couldn't help but flex his cheeks a bit, doing a fish-mouth while letting out a low "buuuh", to show how little he wanted to be scolded. It came down to his choice of being an over-excited kid who constantly harmed himself just from using his quirk to do everything he wanted to do. It wasn't like it was entirely worthless or stupid, he learned some cool things from testing around with his quirk. He learned that he could actually be that much more stronger if he had weapons he could carry around with his ice. When he triggered those guns all at the same time, even if he had no aim, he still could realistically do some real damage.
It was all just a matter of where would he get weapons. Then came that simple thought: why go look for weapons when one can just make them out of thin air (and its moisture) and control that? That was what Maxi trained and attempted, through thick and thin where he heard more than one person's opinion. Now, he had it down nicely enough, it was just a matter of experimenting. "You bet that round ass I did." Maxi said with uncanny confidence, a trait he had been missing for quite a long while -- a nice comeback, to say the least --.
Backing away from Yumi, flicking a finger at her to keep her attention on him, he turned over to her, breathing in deep to focus his power. He even had devised a strategy to ready up the weapons as quickly as possible, though it was not perfect and it did strain his mind and power whenever he had to correct a fuck-up.
Either way, it worked and it looked cool. From his golden eyes, for the first time Yumi had ever seen it, a glow began to appear. Gritting his teeth and clenching his muscles, a cold, ever so mysterious mist picked up around the boy's ankles, quietly swirling around him.
A cold breeze that picks up.
The mist itself was quickly dragged back to Maximillian, who by now had crossed his arms, groaning a little as his body was still sore, weakened from the wounds he just healed from. The glow increased in power, while the mist itself became the very own ice he was going to use. Six separate thick slabs of ice spun with increasing speed around the boy, constantly slamming and grinding into each other. He just wanted the grinding because, every time it slammed, he had to regenerate parts that broke which he didn't want to break.
Through his efforts, though, ice shavings began flying around him as well, a beautiful sort of snowstorm that made him almost invisible, the smaller bits that, by now, were simply dust only allowed the glow of his eyes to come through.
Finally, after around a minute or two, the slabs rose behind his back. They were refined, perfected. The thick, rough slabs had become smooth, sharp blades on all sides, hovering behind his back in two sets of three, as if they were but wings. "It'd be.. --haa..-- by now that I'd give it a.. --phoo..-- a cool name. Don't have one, though." Anti-climatic, but a simple, classic "Maxi" line. What wasn't so simple or anti-climatic was the fact that he was left winded after just creating the blades, knowing well that the technique, as strong as it was, it was also taxing to create: he wasn't even energetic before he made them either.

Smirking a little at the comment, Yumi stepped back as Maxi seemed to do the same to get some room for his little trick. She was curious to see what he'd been working on, and in a weird way, already kind of envious. The fact that someone could pull off new tricks with their quirk to begin with was something really cool and impressive, and something Yumi didn't have the pleasure of. Her quirk control relied on the inventions of her online friend Valda, while someone like Maxi, Jaz, heck even Darren as much as his quirk could even be diversified, they could all learn new tricks and new uses of their quirks. Already Yumi was just a tad envious from the mere ice slabs he created, but the show was only just beginning, and she began to rub her arms to keep herself manageably warm as the chill really filled the air...feeling his natural cold was something, but to be honest, it wasn't really sustainable when he was really pushing things. Her instincts told her to just pull away rather than watch, but for him she made sure to endure, her teeth chattering a little by the time the blades had even remotely begun to take shape.
"W-w-w-wow...." She took a hard gulp, her mouth feeling like an oven now compared to the cold air around her, struggling to keep herself even 'okay' in the presence of the sudden chill in the air. Of course she knew what a sore spot that stuff was for Maxi, and she didn't dare speak about it. Maybe she'd find an excuse to actually wear her super suit she'd brought with her just to make sure she had a bit more protection incase he was gonna show off again today, but for now, she just made sure she could endure, looking to the swords, and then to the exhausted Maxi in the centre, chuckling a little and walking up to him. Shit. How could this room suddenly get colder from just a few footsteps. She forced herself to lightly jab him with an elbow, teasing about the exhausted breaths as she pretended to take them as something else. "Geeze, you really must get cold doing this...i-i-i mean t-t-this is the first t-time you've found it h-hard to get your words out-t-t!"
Her arms were practically glued around her own body, teeth faintly chattering as she tried to keep herself close even as her skin started to faintly sting.

He was entirely aware that whenever he used his powers, the more effort he put behind it, the colder it got. It was by that point that he stopped caring about people not being close to him, since it wasn't just for "comfort", it was for their safety itself. Too much exposure to his cold currently could give him frostbite and he resisted it. He could only shudder to think, then, how painful it must be for Yumi. Indeed, painful, though now that posed the question on why the fuck was she actually getting even closer to him!? He could see her teeth clattering, her skin getting flushed from the cold, this was no place for her to be at! He had to do something quite quickly, before he actually started giving her frostbite.
With a little push of his feet, right on the ground, the ground directly behind him froze over in a thin sheet of ice, his body simply sliding back so naturally, so smoothly it almost looked like he was hovering, specially with the cold mist following him anywhere he went, neatly outlining his area of effect. Distance, that's what he needed and he got at least 9 metres away from her, to make sure that she was at a spot where heat would rapidly return to, to give her the warmth that her body desperately needed before it got too bad. "God, Yumi! D-Don't get that close to me when I'm using my powers, it's dangerous!" The worry overtook reason for a few seconds, right until he realized she only got close to him so that he wouldn't feel bad about it, it was all thanks to her assuming that he would be insulted every single time anyone got away from his cold, even if he was using his powers.
In his frenzied worry, he smashed the blades together, not caring to regenerate them, instead throwing them all to the nearest garbage bin he could find. He couldn't simply dispell or make his ice dissapear, which he honestly wished he could, sometimes the ice he created could get cumbersome. It's neither here nor there, he has bigger things to focus on. Pushing his fingers together, the frozen tanned boy initiated what could be described as breathing exercises, to ease his body, muscles and mind to cancel the tremendous cold he had created: this process would be much faster, were he not tired to begin with. "I appreciate you're doing this for me, but it's ok if you get away when I use my powers. I get frostbite from them, I can only imagine what would happen to you.." He should have made the message clearer, he should have warned her to get away from him when he used his powers, god damnit! It was all his fault for putting her through the horrid treatment of his bone-freezing cold. Even after cancelling his powers, he didn't get close to her, to at least let her warm back up to stable levels.

Yumi’s cheeks would turn a deeper red from embarrassment at her actions regardless of the intent she had. Maxi’s slide from her made it clear enough she’d made a stupid move but the words she got on top of that just burned the embarrassment into her memory, taking a few steps back herself and letting out shivering breath as she got back to normal temperature, her skin just stinging a little from the change in temperature as heat returned to her, and doing her best to warm herself up and quell the embarrassment. She knew she had some good intent but maybe she’d taken that a step too far. She had been a bit reckless lately weirdly so this was a nice reminder that even good intentions could have stupidly cold consequences.
“S-sorry…sorry I just…I know you can get a bit erm…conscious of the fact people don’t like being around your chill so…I just wanted to be sure to show it doesn’t ever put me off. Guess I took it a step too far huh?” She smiled weakly, her body shaking just a little as she fully warmed herself up, the breeze still present from maxi’s present but definitely not in the danger zone anymore. She winced a little when the blades smashed, definitely feeling guilty she’d thrown him off his game when he was showing off and only feeling more embarrassed too, clutching one of her arms still more out of that sensation than a need to warm up anymore.
“I-I know you said it was dangerous but I thought maybe you made yourself go too far in the training or something…I just…yeah. I already said I guess…” She winced a little, the embarrassment practically stinging her more than the actual cold chill that was running over her skin and rapidly fading from the incoming sting of contrasting warmth.

Good grief, that girl was way too nice for her own good, she actually put herself in danger just for his sake! In second thought, that was actually extremely sweet, it softened his heart to an immense extent. To think that someone would actually go to the extent of getting close to him, even while he was creating a chill that could give any normal person actual frostbite, to the extent of admiring and even trying their best to cover their discomfort, could he condemn that? Could he be anything other than purely happy, when faced with intentions so wholesome?
He'd show her just how much he appreciated her, while also making sure she got warm again. Deciding to slowly step forward again, Maximillian began speaking with a much warmer, much more wholesome smile. None of his cockyness, none of his overwhelming confidence, just joy. "You took it too far, you little dunce.." Maxi said in his most loving tone, like a mother who scolds a child who just narrowly escaped disaster. That feeling when the person was worried to death, though still so very happy that they were safe. That kind of feeling.
His hands reached towards hers, a little apprehensively so, though soon taking a lot of confidence. Those striking golden eyes that stared at her own, coupled with Maximillian's face growing quite serious. "I don't want you getting hurt for my sake, alright? You're way too precious for me to let something like that happen..~" And pushed himself forward, without an ounce of fear anymore.
It was an act between close friends at this point, though he had never gone this far, actually. He had gotten to know her, some of her activities, a lot of her views on close relationships and contact like this. His overthinking mind had run this scenario hundreds of times in a few seconds and all of them, of course, were influenced by his confidence, that Yumi would actually reciprocate. Well, he couldn't know how she'd react, though he knew how he'd act. Still holding her hands, he made sure the kiss was strong, firm and specially affectionate, to show her his deep appreciation and care for her.

Yumi was still making an effort to warm herself up, but Maxi taking a softer approach with his words certainly helped her warm up from the inside out as her nerves eased up a bit, glad that she wasn’t just gonna be told off for her silly actions but that Maxi could at least understand them, while equally understanding where he was coming from. She had taken it a step too far even if her intentions where good, and she made a mental note to back off if she needed to in the future, while being sure to still remind Maxi his natural cold wasn’t ever gonna put her off like it could do to some people.
“Sorry Maxi, won’t happen again…” She gave a warm smile, her skin finally feeling like it was easing out a little, but her breath still fogged a little against the natural chill still lingering in the air. She let him take her hands and glanced up towards his eyes with a soft smile, just feeling a little silly still but glad they could understand eachother. Her own amber eyes gazing back up into his golden ones, she briefly parted her lips to speak as he did but instead found her lips sealed back shut as Maxi surprised her a little with his bold move.
Not used to someone else making the first intimate move like this, her cheeks burned a little harder for just a moment. She wasn’t thrown off or anything it was just a genuine surprise, and soon enough her eyes closed and she let out a gentle hum as the two kissed, slowly withdrawing from it at a natural pace, a warm smile still on her lips as her lips closed with her pulling away, the soft moment however sadly interrupted as a spark of electrical energy jumped between their parted lips, Yumi’s surprise having let out just a small spark of her quirk, one she could visibly see but would cause no more harm than a brief spasm of Maxi’s lower lip.
“O-oh god I’m so sorry Maxi I…Y-you caught me off guard I-I’m sorry that was really nice and!” She was more stunned than upset, used to this as a potential consequence of her quirk, covering her mouth with both hands and trying not to snicker at her own mistake.
