Alex felt pretty good so that was good. He seemed satisfied with this recent event, a lot more satisfied then Miku. Although one thing he did say made her feel satisfied. They were Quirkless humans, they were at their peak now, unlike the two of them which would become stronger and thus more awesome "Yea. You're right! We'll be even better next time" Miku said all motivated Alex then went on how she would make man eating plants later and how he will be Darkshine "Boy.... He must really like Darkshine. Note to self. Ask what does he see in her" she thought to herself
But, speaking of liking someone, Alex just had to ask, why did she like Akio, what does she see in him. "I dont hate you. In fact after this, I respect you a whole lot more. But in regards to Akio. Honestly, I cant really say. I mean, I could be honest with you and tell you the whole truth, but I dont want you making fun of him and hurting his feelings. So I will say. I admire how he was the first one to approach me and tell me how he feels. He is the first person who loves me in a romantic and non platonic way. And he looks pretty. Though, I do have to say. It is a shame he is that tall." she shorty explained ommiting some details, so instead she turned the subject around and asked Alex "Why do you ask? Do you like me too?~" It was playful friendly teasing, nothing that would mean to offend Alex

It was funny how just a few words could lift someone’s spirits up. His classmate seemed really down after the initial fight, but a quick mention that they had more potential than the soldiers did seemed to lift her spirits immediately. They weren’t even done with their first semester at U.A. yet, and just the thought of how strong they’d be at the end of their three year term was honestly pretty amazing even if they had little results to show thus far for all the effort they had put in. Just the thought of how awesome he’d be at the end sent a jolt of energy through the delinquent as well. With Darkshine coming to the school, if he worked hard enough he could even secure training from the best hero in the country if not the world… and the very thought of that sent shivers of want down the spine of the American.
When Miku responded to his question, the delinquent had the gall to look offended when she indicated, probably correctly, that if she had told him the whole truth he would bully Akio with the information. Red eyes silently widened in shock, as if this was a baseless accusation with no grounds in reality. Like he was being unjustly accused for some crime, even though both of them knew that the accusation was basically one hundred percent correct. He probably would have teased him relentlessly if the real reason was embarrassing, mostly because the jackass had no issue doing the same with him as was shown in the past. The dude was ruthless for no reason, which was part of the reason why Alex didn’t exactly like his tall classmate. The delinquent could be ruthless, sure, but never without what he considered to be just cause. He never just piled onto someone already defeated or embarrassed and added more on top of that because he considered it unsportsmanlike and dishonorable, concepts that Akio seemed to not understand or consider in his daily life at all.
”No,” he responded with a laugh when he was asked if he liked her too in that way. ”I’m perfectly happy with Aki at the moment, but I was curious. I’m a little hurt that you think I’d run around and bully someone with information I asked for out of curiosity, though.” his tone never moved to insulted, however, and was more amused than anything else at this point. If anything, the situation was funny because it meant that Akio cried to Miku about the ‘bullying’ he received.
”Fair enough, though, I won’t pry anymore.” he added, putting his hands up in surrender. The last thing he was going to do was argue that he wasn’t antagonistic towards Akio, because, well, that would be a lie and one he was uninterested in even trying to make. His dislike for the kid wasn’t exactly a secret, so he could definitely understand his classmate’s hesitance to say anything. It also confirmed his mental guess that he went and cried to Miku after every ‘mean and awful’ thing that was said about him. Probably had her buy him tissues to ease the pain of being considered absolutely insufferable by half the class. Disgusting.
”If you’re looking for more… helpful and available fighting help, I’d recommend going to Darren and the Martial Arts club for some spars. Sparring with Darren in particular has helped me a lot get timing down and get used to getting hit and not losing my shit after getting punched a few times.” he admitted, his tone carefully neutral. ”Akio would probably be the worst person to go to for help if your Dad won’t help, for the same reason why I’d be the worst person for Aki to go to if she wanted to get better at fighting.” he paused for a second with a laugh, though his tone was suddenly very serious. ”People don’t like to hurt the ones they love, so you have to find someone who ideally you don’t really like and who doesn’t like you a heck of a lot to get actual, good practice in and to go full force with.” he concluded, nodding along to his own advice as he did so.

He's happy with Aki. ... Wait... He's happy with Aki?! They're an actual thing??!! But never mind that, she focused on the conversation. "Oh Alex. I know you two boys. You guys have this silly rivalry going on for I have no idea what reason. And Im sure both of you want some kind of edge against your rival. Maybe if you asked me this a few months ago, I would have even naively told you. But Im not that wak and dumb any more. Even if I do seem like it. So... if Akio bothers you. You can just tell me and I'll stop him. But, if you start something silly first, my hands are tied."
Miku didnt understand this rivalry Alex and Akio had. Though, she will admit Akio sometimes behaves irrational as well. There are times in the chat where Akio goes against her advice and proceeds to feed the trolls. But Miku cant help it. Thats Akio and she cant change him
Luckily after that was dropped, Alex might have given Miku the best possible advice. Ask Darren for martial arts training. That was brilliant "Alex you are a genius!! Darren, of course! I have to find him and ask him to train me. Hopefully, I can avoid joining his martial arts club. I just want him to train me, so I can properly fight!"

”I never said you were weak or dumb.” the American pointed out, his tone neutral. ”In fact, I just got you a match with some soldiers who thought you were too weak to be worth their time and you were the only one out of the four in that fight to walk out without any damage.” he added further, his tone never shifting to defensive because he knew how right he was. To say that Alex had ever suggested that she was weak or dumb was just silly, because that would completely contradict his actions. He had the moral high ground here, which was a weird feeling but one he had no reason to rub in Miku’s face. If she needed to villainize him in order to justify Akio’s whining and crying, that was her decision. An unfair and wrong decision to be sure, but not one he was particularly interested in fighting.
He wasn’t going to sit there and not at least point out once the reality denial bullshit that saying he thought she was dumb or weak was, though. There was supporting your significant other, and then there was the manufacturing of alternative facts in order to maintain the victim illusion for no reason. Miku wasn’t a victim, and didn’t seem to really be the one to play that card by herself so it had to be Akio. The spineless chump was infecting other students at Yuuei High with his weakness, that was the only explanation for this kind of mentality. It was disgusting, really, but at the end of the day it was her choice to stand in front of and protect the wimp like a motherly figure or whatever. It was all bizarre, really, and he just didn’t understand what she got out of it other than constant attention.
”You can definitely train without Darren without joining the Martial Arts Club.” the delinquent offered, ready to just change the subject as it came without an issue while mentally filing the dislike of him that Akio seemed to be cultivating in Miku. ”I always figured it would be a waste of time for me to learn it because the only way anybody ever gets close is if I fuck up. But it’s great training against people who are great in hand to hand and want to close the distance. Darren is fast as fuck, too, so your reaction time will get much better if it’s not good already as an emitter.”
”Since your range is lower than mine, it might make sense for you to pick up some martial arts, though, or at least a reliable way to prevent people from grabbing onto you physically.” he added with a shrug. ”Either that, or you work on your quirk enough to increase the range or have reliable ways of stopping people from closing in. Otherwise you’re just a punching bag for villains, y’know?”
”Actually, it seems like ideally you’d want to spar with all different types of Quirkers so that you’re practiced against any type. Like, I could probably stomp any speedster worse than Darren now because I’m so used to dealing with the speeds that he can go now but I don’t have any real practice against other ranged emitters like me.” he thought aloud, ”Maybe after this event we should set up sparring sessions separating people by fighting style so that everyone had the opportunity to match up against people both different and the same from themselves.” he added, tripping over his words a bit because this was all very much stream of consciousness talking and not anything he had put any prior thought into.

"I know you didnt. But Im not gonna lie. Thats what I was when I just first entered UA. I was very.... oblivious to say the least" she explained that she didnt mean to insinuate that Alex called her weak and dumb. Thats just what she was back then
He continued to say how he got her into a fight in which she came out unharmed. Miku just realized that. She was in a fight and she was not harmed. She was speechless at that fact.
She was glad they switched the subject as she nodded in agreement "Yea, I get what you mean. I do wanna learn how to fight. I dont wanna just tackle and bite people. I wanna do something thats more professional. I dont want to depend on my Quirk." Miku then listened to Alex talk more. He sounded so smart and mature "I dont get who made that ranking list. I feel like Alex should've been number 4. Not me. What did I do thats good? I wish I had some feedback or an explanation on why I was ranked the way I was. How can I know where to improve?" she thought to herself

”Does it really matter what you were before if you’re learned from it and changed now?” he asked, mostly to himself rather than to Miku. It was an interesting question, but for his life to really have meaning the answer needed to be no.
When he had first come to U.A., he had a cool quirk that he had avoided using for most of his life. He had never pushed it to its limits like he did in that first rescue class, and really had no experience in anything that he would be tested on. He had very little formal schooling growing up, and had just grasped Japanese enough to be considered ‘fluent’ before arriving at Yuuei High and still sometimes slipped up, even if those instances were much less now than at the beginning. He panicked against a damned dummy in one of his first simulations, and got so pissed at the sensation of being hit he actually punched out one of the dummies in a rescue class.
Hell, in the first class gathering for 1-C back when they were small he was absolutely fucking terrified to come out and show his face. He thought that his otherness would somehow be sensed, only to be embraced more than he ever thought a person could be over a span so short as three months. It was kind of crazy, really, just thinking about it. From a homeless foreigner who didn’t speak a lick of Japanese to a class representative at the first hero school ever to open and the number five ranked student of the same in the space of a little over two years wasn’t bad, it wasn’t bad at all. Especially because there wasn’t any universe where he was done climbing that ladder yet, because the minute U.A. opened its doors to the delinquent it paved the way for the success that he’s encountered since then.
Miku saying something truly absurd was what it took to knock him out of his reverie. ”Did you just say tackle and bite?” he asked, to get the girl to clarify. ”Come on now, why in God’s name would you ever do that with a quirk as strong as yours?” he asked, like it was the most absurd thing he had ever heard in his entire life. Mostly because it was, or at least it had to be in the top ten. Alex himself straight up refused to learn melee combat because he felt like it was a hugely inefficient use of his time. His quirk was amazing against melee opponents to begin with, so why would he ever meet them where they were strong instead of forcing the fight into an area that catered to his own strengths? It just didn’t make sense. Absurd, really, almost as absurd as the notion of tackling and biting people as someone Miku’s size.
”If you don’t want to rely on your quirk, that’s fine. But just know that the current Number One, Rin, relies entirely on hers and when I end up beating her it will be beating her quirk with mine.” he declared with enough confidence to seem as if that exact scenario was already a foregone conclusion. ”Number one Pro Hero, Darkshine, also relies entirely on her quirk, as well. It’s a completely legitimate strategy if you have a strong enough quirk, which I think you do.” the delinquent continued with a shrug. ”My guess is that people who rely only on their quirks will get countered more when everyone knows their quirks, which I guess is one weakness. I’m really curious to see how people deal with it, because once everyone knows what your quirk does you lose any surprise factor and people can plan against you way more.” he paused thoughtfully and cracked his neck by rolling his head to the right side for a moment. ”I guess that’s the burden of being at the top. The rankings are gonna make things public for us, but for villains too. Maybe you have it right – even if you don’t use martial arts for a while having that trick up your sleeve could save your butt one day when a villain gets taken completely by surprise by it.”

"I think it matters. Its always good to remember your roots,so you can reflect and see how much you've grown... or fallen. Knowing how you started is important. Don't you agree?" she asked Alex, looking at him. Miku missed the social cue which meant that Alex mostly asked this question himself and thus gave him an answer of a sort
Miku thought knowing how you started matters. She was taught to keep track of her progress and to never forget her roots. Never get swayed away by fame, in case she becomes a great hero. Always remaining true to yourself and being humble. Being here and now. Miku did not know how to feel about her more naive self, before she was sheltered and simply unaware of what the real world is like. Kept home, not allowed to grow and socialize with anyone. But now, UA gave her the freedom she lacked and now Miku isnt so sensitive, naive, weak and childish. She was finally maturing
When it came to talk about martial arts, Alex seemed surprised she actually tackled and bit someone and not relied on her Quirk. He mentioned how Rin relies on her Quirk. Miku mentally rolled her eyes hearing that. Then he heard Darkshine relies in her Quirk. And then Miku internally just cringed hearing that, it took everything not to do it for real.
She continued to listen and remained respectful to Alex. In the end he sort of agreed with her that martial arts can be a good trick up your sleeve if people know your Quirk. "Im sorry, but its incredibly foolish to rely on your Quirk. Repeated Quirk exposure will make your Quirk known well before you become a top ranking hero. You must always use your Quirk sparsly, swiftly, discreetly and creatively. Never let anyone know your tricks. Also, relying on your Quirk has another problem. What if someone has a Quirk that directly counters yours? For example Maxi is an ice hero and he encounters a fire villain which easily melts his ice. He's royally screwed if he cant do anything other then his Quirk. Or heck, what if you're a Hero and you encounter a Villain who can negate your Quirk or has some temporary quirk erasing quirk? What if the enviroment doesnt allow you to use your Quirk?? There are literally dozens of reasons why relying on your Quirk is plain stupid, retarded and irritating" Miku sort of got pissed off at the end, but quickly composed herself, this was a little know fact that not everyone knew, but she was NOT a fan of Darkshine at all as she was heavily pro Vigilantism more and supported Vigilantes more then the goverment approved Pro Heroes. Even the teacher she liked was a Vigilante. Also more secretly, she did root for Alex to surpass Rin in the whole UA ranking "Sorry about that. Just.... dont look at Rin as a good example. If someone knew her Quirk, she could be broken like a twig. And dont look at Darkshine as anything good either. You have to be versatile Alex. Especially if you wanna surprass Rin and be number 1."
When it comes to Quirks. Miku was taught that you can just have one trick. Otherwise its one and done. She watched her dad who'd use his Quirk and also fight hand to hand. And sometimes he'd use a makeshift weapon. In his case he had 3 different ways to fight. He taught her that relying on 1 thing was terrible. No matter how good your Quirk is. Sooner or later you will find someone who will have a counter of your Quirk and be at an advantage. Miku realized that when she saw Darkshine fight Thundershock live on TV. She called her dad to help. But he didnt come there. She later learned that his Quirk is more water based, it has a water affinity. And nothing could be a worse pairing then water and lightning. The thunderous damage would have probably been doubled or worse. No matter how good his Quirk was, he'd have no chance. And Miku didnt even have to think of that. Her Quirk, plant manipulation, it was purely enviromental based. In an urban area, she is screwed. Indoors with no pots or plants, she's screwed. In winter, she's screwed. Her Quirk is potentially powerful. But there are just too many factors that had to be in place to make it work. So until Miku gits gud. She needs to learn how to fight and break people with her bare hands. She cant tackle, scratch and bite forever. She needs guidance. And Darren will be that solution if thats the last thing she does

He listened to Miku’s logic silently, mostly because his mind was still processing the meaning behind it and figuring out if he agreed with her or not. Her point made sense, but he felt some sort of visceral reaction to the point that quirks should be used sparingly. A quirk was all he had, and likely would ever have. Without it, he was nothing in comparison to literally anyone else on the planet. He refused to believe it was wrong to rely on one’s quirk, especially because for a lot of people it was their only choice to become a hero in the first place. Everyone should be expected to have some level of versatility, sure, but in Alex’s case he thought his quirk was more than versatile enough on its own. Plus, entirely quirk reliant styles made it to the top of the ladder in both Pro Hero and Student rankings. Whether that would remain true was an open question, but that shouldn’t just be ignored.
”I don’t know if I agree with that.” was the delinquent’s immediate response, though his tone never shifted to confrontational. If anything, he was just talking through the problem because he had never really thought about his style this way before, so was processing it for the first time in this context. ”Quirk dependent, of course, but let’s take me as an example. My quirk is very versatile and I’m one hundred percent confident in relying on it because I’m really only limited by my creativity when it comes to using it. Yes, if I became a pro a villain could set up a bunch of floodlights and make my quirk useless. If that was the case, though, you’d think they’d also set up a taser or have a gun or something and the point is moot whether or not I have any other way to attack. Like, maybe something to throw to get rid of the floodlights but other than that.”
”As for students, let’s use me as an example again.” he paused for a moment only to catch his breath, because words were coming out faster than he could talk at this point. Quirk on quirk, I don’t have a lot of awful match ups. The only one that I can think of where I just automatically lose is against Jaz. Her explosion quirk is strong enough to punch through my shadow quirk, and if the light from that explosion hits the wrong spot even for a second she gets the advantage she needs to constantly fuck with my shadows from that point onward and make my quirk much less effective. Jaz is also strong as shit physically without her quirk and is almost as good as Darren is in martial arts. That’s her strength, and her quirk is used to amplify that strength. Even if I trained really hard for all three years at U.A., I would never be able to match her in her area of strength and I think it’d be stupid to try because at the end of the day her quirk counters mine.”
”Like, my goal isn’t to be some super hero who can take down literally anyone. If the villain is someone who could, for example, light up an entire area like it was a lightbulb or something – like walls, floor, ceiling, everywhere it would be useless against almost anyone but it would absolutely fucking destroy me. But that doesn’t mean I can’t be helpful. If I’m the first hero responding, I can do my best to distract them and be annoying until someone with a better quirk matchup shows up. I can still protect civilians and do all that sort of stuff. Stuff like that is why U.A. exists, because I hope we’re not all stupid enough to think we can make it as solo pros. My quirk is more versatile than almost anyone else’s at U.A., but my goal right now is just to be Darkshine’s sidekick for a while to learn and get better after I graduate as quickly as I can. She has the same style that me and Rin do, except better in every way currently. ”
”I’d much rather focus on being the best in one area than just good in a bunch of areas. That means I’ll have to work with others more, but is that really a bad thing? Like, isn’t that the entire point of a hero school – to make sure we know all the other heroes coming up and build relationships enough to do the team ups that are necessary? Like, yeah, my quirk might not do as much raw damage as someone like Jaz’s. But I can also use my quirk with civilians around without accidentally harming anyone, because I have a huge amount of control over my quirk and there’s no area of effect damage like an explosion. In terms of protecting people or rescues, my quirk is a lot more useful than Jaz’s even if I could never win in a one on one fight. Plus, at the end of the day, I like to think if there was a villain with Jaz’s power set or a similar one I wouldn’t even try to win and instead focus on stalling and being annoying until other Pros arrived. Even if none of us could win individual duels, that’s the benefit of going to U.A. in that I hope at least a few of you would come in and help if you heard I was fighting for my life somewhere, y’know? Heroing is more than just if you can fight any villain one on one, which I think is impossible.”
He trailed off, then, his stream of consciousness talking finally coming to an end when he just ran his train of thought to the end. He had no idea what his end point was supposed to be, or even if he had one to begin with. Given more time, he could have actually come up with a solid end point to that argument, but off the cuff this was the best that he could do. Hopefully it was enough to at least get his point across.

Alex didnt agree with what Miku said. And Miku did not mind that. He had his own thoughts, feelings and opinions. She was meerly giving hers while perhaps getting slightly carried away "Yea, you have a versatile Quirk" was all she said after EVERYTHING Alex talked about, she just replied in one sentence and kept quiet
If you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all. Thats something she followed. She didnt want to argue with Alex. She just silently agreed to disagree. "What's the point of being a Hero if Im just a supliment? If I cant stop a Villain, then what the fuck am I doing with my life? The point of being the best Hero is so you can handle anything and help people. Not just be some temporary thing that keeps bad stuff at bay. If I’m the first hero responding, I'll do whatever it takes to stop the trouble. And if back up comes thats good for me. But I cant depend on others. What if other heroes dont make it to me on time? What if backup is caught in an ambush and Im solo. Its just plain stupid. You gotta be ready for anything. If backup comes, thats good. If it doesnt you gotta quit crying and be a Hero. What kind of pathetic her has to be saved" Miku thinks to herself as she remembers an event where a Pro Hero tried to save some hostages but got caught and ended up being a hostage as well. She just shook her head

”Who knows,” the delinquent shrugged. ”Maybe you’re right. Nobody knows what the best way to be a hero is yet because it’s so new. There are vigilantes and shit, but you can’t exactly learn from people who need to be kept secret to not be arrested. We’re also the first class that comes through, so we get to try all the weird shit and the classes underneath us will figure out what ends up sticking.”
He paused for a little bit, maybe ten or fifteen seconds before adding with a smirk spreading across his face: ”Who knows, if I end up beating Rin you might end up beating me since we both rely on our quirks so much.” The grin only spread further as he continued until it almost split his face in half, ”In fact, that sounds fuckin’ awesome. The sooner someone finds out the best way to do this, the sooner everyone else can copy it and we’re all that much better at ruining a villain’s day. With so many students, someone will have the right idea – might as well be you, eh? Just don’t fuck me up too early, alright? Let me enjoy the top for, say, at least a month or so before you come and knock me down again, huh?”
He laughed, then, as his red gaze turned to survey the area around them once more. The combat area was dead, probably because everyone was on lunch break at the moment. Rough, they couldn’t even watch a fight at this point even if they wanted to.
”So,” the boy started, his gaze turning back to his classmate. ”Aside from you, who in Class 1-B should I be on the lookout for?” his tone was conspiratorial as he nudged Miku with his hip playfully before backing off again immediately. ”Who do you think is going to come out of left field and beat Rin before I can? There has to be someone. I don’t know too much about your class. I know in 1-A the ones to watch are Rin and Jaz, and most people who know 1-C know that Darren and Yumi are the ones to watch there. Hopefully soon my name will be up there, but it isn’t quite yet and I’m fine with that. I’d rather take people by surprise when the showdown finally happens, y’know? Make a big splash and everything, but 1-B doesn’t seem to have the same… uh, drama I guess that the other classes do. Like 1-A for a while was like a goddamn civil war, and 1-C is probably the most active in the chats because none of us can shut up for two seconds.” he analyzed with another laugh, knowing damn well that a good chunk of that ‘not being able to shut up’ quality belonged to him and Darren in particular. Yumi took over chat too occasionally, but not nearly as much. Akio tended to post a lot, too, come to think about it. They really did use U.A. Universal chat as another Class 1-C chatroom a lot of the time so it probably meant most people in the school knew who they were for better or for worse.

Miku nods in agreement, but does her best to withhold a smile, because of Alex's line which says that you cant exactly learn from Vigilantes since they have to be secreta s to not get arrested. Miku knows Alex met G. But didnt tell him that he's an awesome Vigilante. Keeping her dads identity secret its a tough and exciting secret. She's a kid, of course she wants to show off how awesome her dad is. But sadly, cant. He has to be kept a secret and as far as the whole world knows, her dad is just an average tough guy who's unemployed. She only reveals some things about him during chat.
He paused for a little bit, maybe ten or fifteen seconds before he added another line, saying who knows if he'll beat Rin or if Miku might beat him. They both rely on their Quirks. Miku just nods "I'll do my best not to fuck you up." Miku said, but as always, she makes no promises
Alex then asked who does he have to look out for in Class B, aside from her "True! That's why we're the best! No drama!" Miku said playfully, but then asnwered his question "I'd say Lani. She is number 3 right now, after all." Miku said. Haruuhi is 6th now on the ranking list and aside from them, no one comes to mind for Miku.

”Does no drama really make you the best, though?” the boy responded with a tone equally as playful. ”I don’t think we’re nearly as bad as 1-A is, because our drama isn’t, like, actually with each other. We come in and have a super contentious vote for Class Reps, and nobody went nuts. Nobody freaked out. I won over Naoru and there was no revolt. We still went and did almost full class things like rent out a nice hotel for us to party – we just have that rivalry with 1-A because they can’t stop bragging about how they’re so much better than everyone else.” more than a trace of bitterness and anger slipped into that last bit. It was mostly just Rin, really, but as President as 1-A she was the Class Representative so that negative emotion was extended to the entire class that elected a scumbag like her to be the face of 1-A. Fucking disgusting, really, there was no excuse for that unless they wanted a giant target on their back for the rest of the year by acting like that. If they wanted a fight, Alex was more than willing to not only continue that fight but also to end it in the most public fashion possible.
”Yeah, Lani was the one who caught the villain in the festival thing right?” the delinquent nodded along, ”I was just moving into U.A. at the tail end of that, that’s fucking awesome though. She’s the only one at the school to have a villain takedown under her belt, isn’t she?” he turned his gaze back to Miku, interested in any sort of confirmation to that. That was super fucking cool if it was true, and complete bullshit that Lani was not the number one student at least for the first ranking if so.
”Hopefully we do cross-class stuff at some point, that’d be really cool since everyone has such different quirks. We might even get to get trained by the different teachers, too, that would be super nice.” the American paused for a moment, ”Who’s your teacher in 1-B? Glave-sensei, the rescue teacher, was ours until just before the military camp started, and he was really solid and I liked him. He was much more laid back than our new one, Tanaka. She’s big and blue and angry all the time. I don’t understand how someone could be so angry, and I really hope the other classes didn’t get so unlucky with their teachers.”
Big, blue, and angry summed up their new teacher quite well. Detentions for everyone, constant yelling at people and hitting people with rulers – it was insanity, really. The woman was more fit for the job of prison warden than high school teacher, that was for sure. He really could not fathom why someone who by all accounts absolutely and utterly despised the nation’s youth would take a job teaching them and being around them for long hours every single day. It was mind boggling, really, and seemed to be the very definition of insanity.

Miku nodded "Thats right. Only Lani took out a Villain. Darren fought the shark, but heroes helped him, as far as I know. Lani is the only one who beat a Villain with no help of a Pro" Miku explained. She thought how she wasnt there, but then just kind of questioned her usefulness. Lani fought the Villain, her dad fought sentient swords
She then heard Alex say it'd ben cool to do cross class stuff. Miku couldnt help but agree. Alex then asked about Miku's teacher "Our Homeroom teacher is Arata Hayashi also known as Glovebox also known as the best Hero in Japan while techically being ranked 6th, but he's still totally the best" as soon as she started talking about her sensei, she went fangirl mode just like how Alex would with Darkshine. It was obvious that Miku either has a crush on her teacher or did have a crush at one point due to the tone of her voice and how fondly she spke about her teacher
But quickly realizing that she was gonna start fangirling, Miku quickly stopped before she got too bad "Oh.. umm... yea. Our sensei is great... Best one is school, even better then the Principal." Miku just shyly summed up

”That’s super cool!” was the delinquent’s immediate response, ”Do you know who the villain was that Lani caught? I remember reading something very general but didn’t get any details about who it was or really what even they were doing – or it said it and I just forgot.” he added, trying to remember the newspaper article he offhandedly skimmed and failing miserably at recalling any valuable data or information.
At Miku fangirling over her teacher, Alex’s grin returned in full force. ”I knew you’d go nuts for at least one pro. Everyone has their favorite.” he smugly stated, misinterpreting his classmate’s tone of voice as the same type of almost deification he did in regards to Darkshine rather than the teenage crush that it was. ”What’s his quirk again? Sorry, my pro knowledge is kind of lacking compared to some others. I wasn’t interested in them very much before, because I didn’t feel like I could learn anything from studying most them because we had such different quirks.”
They were still relatively new, after all, and early on there was next to no information on them. Now that there was, though, it was becoming such a booming industry in and of itself. They were coming out with this super cool card game based on the pros, he knew, and the delinquent was definitely at the edge of his seat for that one. It was all but confirmed that Darkshine, as the inaugural number one hero, would be the best card out of the entire game in deference to her achievement. It was super cool, and there was supposed to only be a limited run of the special holographic Number One Hero card that was a run that was only going to be in the first run of booster packs. There was supposed to be only one hundred of that card in all of Japan, so collectors were going to go nuts trying to get it. Alex, of course, was one of them but Miku didn’t need all of this fanboyism verbally. It wasn’t exactly a secret that the delinquent was the biggest Darkshine fanboy at U.A., and thus the world.
”If Hayashi-sensei is the best teacher at U.A., all the more reason to have cross-class trainings. It’s no fair if 1-B has him all to yourselves if he’s the best hero teacher. The whole 1-A and 1-C rivalry would become pointless if 1-B came out of left field and surpassed both of us out of the blue. It wouldn’t be fair if you got that much better training than we did. We could even do a teacher swap day, where we send our teacher to 1-A, you get 1-A’s teacher, and we get Hayashi-sensei. I would say 1-B and 1-C could switch teachers, but I wouldn’t wish that evil woman against anyone except my worst enemy. Holy shit.” he joked, but his hope that something like that happening even for a brief period was pretty clear through his tone. Really, he just hoped he wasn’t stuck with Junko for three years more than anything else. That would be a living nightmare, for sure.

Miku knew what was up because her dad was there and so were her best friends and classmates like Haruuhi and Lani. Miku wasnt there, but heard many stories "So there was this festival that came to town. Herr Kunshu's festival. It all happened in May. For a few days during the festivals stay, we all had fun. Different attractions like Games Area with ball tosses, ladder climbing, gun booth. The cutest animal pens. Performance Area and the least popular area, Training Area. But one day, Kunshu decided he didnt want to work as the director and owner of the place and used his Quirk, which was like foreful activation of other peoples Quirks. Stuff went crazy. A ferris wheel going loose, swords gaining sentience, animals being released. Pure chaos. Lani and Sean and Haruto and I think someone else was at the main tent where Herr Kunshu was. I dunno what happened, but Lani was the one who probably dealt with the big bad Kunshu." Miku then shrugged "Thats the story I heard. Sadly, I was not present during that. I wish I was. Also dont quote me on this. I may have gotten details wrong. But thats the jist of things" Miku said as she explained to Alex with the best of her abilities about the chaotic event
Later when she was fangirling with her teacher, Miku blushed a bit and stopped fangirling "W-Well I never said we cant have our favorites. I-I just try not to... fangirl much." Alex then asked her what was her teachers Quirk "He can can manifest any number of energy constructs int he shape of 1920s style cartoon gloves, four-fingers and all." she kept it short and simple there
Miku smiled at the cross class idea and even teacher swapping "Your ideas sound so fun. I'd love to do something with our classes! But you should speak to our class president with those ideas" Miku said
