APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Daisuke is a young teenage boy who is a bit small for his age, being rather short and skinny. His hair is a light shade of green, almost tea green to be exact. In addition, his hair is short and doesn't go past his neck, it sticks outs a bit at the top, has bangs covering the forehead, and is generally pretty messy. Daisuke has very light skin, almost looking pale at times, though there are no notable scars or birthmarks. He has light blue eyes, which are big and round in shape.
In terms of outfits, Daisuke won't care too much about what he wears. He is fine with wearing pretty much anything, though he usually prefers wearing button-up shirts and jackets, and prefers long sleeves over short sleeves. Likewise, Daisuke rarely wears shorts over pants unless it's summer. Typically, his preferred color choices for clothes are light blue, green, or white, though he's usually fine with any bright color. He doesn't necessarily dislike wearing dark colors, but rarely chooses to wear them.
POSITIVE
✔ Kind, empathetic, quiet, gentle, peaceful, honest
NEGATIVE
✖ Timid, cowardly, overly apologetic, naive, overly submissive, slow-witted
LIKES
✔ Plants, fruits and vegetables, gardening, helping others, Spring and Summer, the outdoors
DISLIKES
✖ Winter, the cold, meat, mean people (especially bullies), violence, smoke and pollution
Personality:
Daisuke is what many would consider a really nice guy. He is caring, compassionate, empathetic, and patient. Despite being shy and quiet, usually keeping to himself, Daisuke enjoys the company of others. He wishes to help people, listen to their troubles if anyone feels down, and do everything he can to cheer them up. He is a very gentle and peaceful person, not one to easily get angry or violent. In fact, Daisuke is a pacifist, and always seeks to resolve any trouble peacefully, preferring to always try and avoid conflict. He is also a very honest individual, not liking to lie at all. Of course, the sole exception to that is if the truth would be painful, in which case lying to protect others from such pain would be his approach.
Naturally, Daisuke is not without his flaws. He is really reserved and shy, usually too afraid to approach others on his own. He is also very easily rattled and scared, with even the slightest thing capable of instilling fear in him and making him run away. He has a tendency to always blame himself for anything bad that happens, often apologizing more times than necessary, which can come off as annoying at times. Though he always tries his best at everything, Daisuke is not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. He is very gullible and naive, making him an easy target for pranks and manipulation. Daisuke is also very meek and submissive, usually going along with what others suggest, rarely ever thinking much for himself. Because of this, he is a frequent target for bullying, which has made him that much more timid and lacking in confidence.

HISTORY
In a hospital in Tokyo, Japan in the year 2060, Daisuke Sasaki was born. He is the son of Hidehiro and Kasumi Sasaki. The young boy's early life was filled with joy, as he had two loving parents who loved their precious son and wanted to ensure that his life was filled with happiness.
Daisuke had a normal early childhood. He went to school with the other kids his age. He was shy, but still managed to make a few friends. Just like a couple of his classmates, Daisuke's quirk had manifested itself early on. From the age of 5, the boy would discover his quirk, and from there would gradually try to make it grow. At first, he could only produce a tiny pink flower bud from his body. It couldn't bloom, and often just vanished after a very short time. He was often picked on by the kids with the more flashy quirks. But that was not enough to deter Daisuke! He kept on making the bud appear more often, trying his best to make it bloom into a pretty flower.
On Daisuke's sixth birthday, he would be treated to quite the surprise. As usual, the boy tried to grow the pink bud. But this time, it actually began to bloom! And from the flower, a super tiny hedgehog-like creature was born, with what looked like a shrub on its back and two pink flowers on the sides of its head. Kasumi decided to give her son's new friend its name: Kusadama, which means 'grass ball'. The boy liked the name, nodding in approval. Daisuke cried tears of joy, seeing such an adorable little friendly critter. He actually got so excited, the boy ran around and accidentally tripped, bruising his leg and crying in pain as his parents quickly ran to both comfort their son and fetch the first-aid kit.
Almost as if doing so instinctively, the tiny summon ran to Daisuke and began to rub itself on his wound, as though trying to comfort the boy. It was at that moment that Daisuke's parents became aware of Kusadama's power: The ability to heal. Of course, the healing was very weak and minor, barely reducing the size of Daisuke's bruise. But with years of practice and training, it was clear that Daisuke had some serious potential to become a healer if that was what he wanted to do in the future. Of course, Hidehiro and Kasumi would let their son choose his own path, determined to support him every step of the way.
Eager to show off his quirk to his classmates, Daisuke proudly summoned Kusadama for all the kids and the teacher to see. Naturally, the kids kept bullying him for having a 'girly wimpy quirk'. Kusadama wasn't flashy like other quirks. It couldn't breathe fire, shoot spikes, create explosions, or really do much of anything the kids considered 'cool'. Daisuke did his best to not feel too down, but it was often his parents who had to cheer up and encourage the boy, telling him that the other kids were just jealous, and that his quirk was a precious gift he should never take for granted.
All in all, Daisuke had a pretty average childhood. Sadly, the boy would soon meet tragedy. At the age of 8, his mother had sadly lost her life. At first, Hidehiro lied to his son in order to spare him from the horrific truth. He told the boy that she had flown away peacefully on a top secret mission. Eventually, Daisuke found out the truth. The fact that his mother had been murdered by a pair of criminals trying to flee during a failed robbery, taking her hostage and then killing her in cold blood when she tried to fight back.
Naturally, the boy was devastated. He was not nearly as cheerful and energetic as he once was. Daisuke became reserved and shy, shutting out other people. Even the fact that his father helped put the two criminals behind bars did nothing to lessen the pain. His mother was gone. He would no longer get to see her again, listen to her sing him to sleep, eat his absolute favorite meal in the world that was cooked by her. All he could do was mourn in his room, lying down in bed and sobbing as Kusadama did its best to comfort him.
Daisuke could not stay down forever, though. He wanted to try and be strong, for his mother. He wanted to someday grow up to be a man she would have been proud of. He wanted to try and cheer up his father, who had also taken the loss of Kasumi very hard. It wasn't easy, but the Sasaki family would have to try and press on, moving forward. Never forgetting, but never allowing the past to weigh them down for too long.
As Daisuke got older, he would begin to think of what he wanted to do in the future. Being proud of his father, the boy naturally wanted a profession that would let him help people, just like his dad. Sadly, he was not as smart as his father, so he doubted he would follow his dad's footsteps and become a detective. Still, there were so many possibilities. He could try and become a doctor. He could try and join the police force. Or maybe even try and become a hero. Just which road would Daisuke ultimately choose to go down? Even now at the age of 14, the boy is still uncertain of his future.
But there is one thing he does know. Whatever road Daisuke chooses to walk down, he'll take it one step at a time. And no matter what hardships may come his way, Daisuke will do his best to persevere!
