Personality:
Kaori Momochi is not the type of person you want to cross paths with. The young entrepreneur is obsessed with power and control and is determined to increase his personal power no matter the cost. To him, people are nothing more than tools and puppets for him to control and manipulate as needed. On the surface, Kaori appears to be a kind-hearted and mannerly fellow, but deep down is a cold furnace of hatred and pure malice. He is willing to say whatever he needs to say and do whatever needs to be done in order to get someone to do what he wants. He holds little to no value in the lives of others, save for their usefulness to him, or in rare circumstances his enjoyment in them. Due to his mannerly and gentlemen-like façade, Kaori is known to pull into him like a black hole.
In social situations, Kaori tends to be an apathetic observer of his surroundings, assessing people and their personality in order to see what makes them tick. You see, Kaori prefers to work as an insidious force that hides within the shadows, and he does admittedly prefer manipulation over brute force. Therefore, like a machine or a careful artist, Kaori likes to know what motivates a person, namely so that he can manipulate them better and get them to bend and twist to his terrible song. Kaori has learned how to retain a calm and collected demeanor no matter the situation. He has even managed to fake confidence in order to seem powerful and in control.
Though there are certain signs in his demeanor that can betray his confident and calm demeanor. For the most part, Kaori does not allow his emotions and feelings to cloud his judgment and decision-making skills. This usually happens when someone resists his charms and charisma and actively works against Kaori. In that case, Kaori would mark them down as an immediate threat and handle them with care. If he cannot reason with them and make a deal with them and turn them into an ally. Kaori would then attempt to eliminate them by any means necessary, and if they show to be a resilient person, they will earn Kaori’s respect and even fascination. They might even receive some praises from him. In battle, Kaori often maintains a confident and calm demeanor, even when the situation turns sour. He likes to get under his opponent’s skin in order to make them lose control.
He will commonly utilize sarcasm as a technique to establish mentor superiority over his opponent. Retaining a bizarre form of manners, Kaori would mock his opponents for mistakes they make in battle. Kaori would also praise opponents for turning a situation against him or using smart tactics against him. Though he would take off this handicap when bored or out of time. If this lower-level fighter shows promise, Kaori would offer him a chance to join him or simply spare him. When faced with a mage his level or higher, Kaori would act cautiously but would commonly utilize force to overwhelm his opponent. In either situation, Kaori views killing useful people as being wasteful and would instead prefer to become allies with them and he will always offer them a chance to join him.
Kaori believes in the age-old concept of survival of the fittest, and to the victor goes the spoil. He welcomes conflict, and challenge, and well any chance of progression and improvement. In a similar manner, Kaori views peace as poison, and holds a deep distaste for any concept of peace and a stagnation. Whatever the case, Kaori does not necessarily believe that those with strength should rule, more so, Kaori believes that anyone who can gain and retain power is worthy or survival of rule. Even then, Kaori believes that as soon as those individuals start to lose power or diminish, then they should be removed.

HISTORY
Kaori is the son of Daisuke Momochi, and Ichika Momochi. Daisuke was a vigilante who fought for a twisted sense of justice, and Ichika was a successful doctor. Kaori’s father had always dreamed about becoming a number one vigilante, but unfortunately, there was something that he was missing and ultimately, Daisuke could not garner any respect or popularity. This of course, made Kaori’s father very angry and resentful of other vigilantes, especially, for popular ones. In truth, Daisuke started to become resentful of nearly everyone who was successful, this included his sister and eventually it included even his wife.
Not able to become a well-known and liked vigilante, Daisuke would become a cop instead, much to his own hatred and distaste. Seeing her husband unhappy, Ichika would do everything in her power to make him smile, or to make him happy. But at last, her husband happiness had been corroded into resentment and dullness at the thought of being a cop. After a month into the job, Daisuke would discover that he was to become a father, and he saw this as a chance to correct his mistake. Where Ichika saw a chance for a peaceful life, Daisuke saw a chance for an heir that he could mold in his liken.
As soon as Kaori quirk started to manifest, Daisuke would force him to undergo harsh training. Whenever, Kaori would come home from school, and Daisuke would get off of work, the training would start right after dinner. This would-be Kaori’s life, a life that Ichika resented due to her husband’s neglect and cold disposition towards her son. Eventually, Ichika would plead with her husband to calm down and let him be a kid, but that coldness and inner anger would soon be directed onto her.
Kaori started to resent his father, and soon enough, Ichika started to resent her husband. At the age of ten, Kaori’s life would start to spiral out of control. His father would be murdered by some unknown criminal, and his mother’s sanity would quickly dwindle. Kaori started to hang around people he should not be, and soon enough, he started to become involved in local gangs. When he entered into high school however, Kaori desiring to make something with his life, his own legacy, would start to focus hard on school and do everything in his power to impress the colleges and whatnot. When he turned eighteen however, Kaori’s mother would be confined into a psychological institution, and not wanting to live in an orphanage Kaori would run away.
