Personality:
No matter how you cut it, Kimi strikes an interesting figure; most who first see her notice the petite body, the cute round face and the cutesy mannerisms. However, the more someone watches her, the more they feel this overwhelming presence. This intimidating aura.
Her energy is evident on her bright features; large round eyes the color of honey, shimmering soft blonde hair, swift energetic movements and a loud voice. Needless to say, you'd never lose her in a crowd, even despite her short stature.
She generally tends to dress in an unusual mix of traditionally girly styles or tomboyish styles with girly accessories, often with a bit of athletic-wear flavor. As an idol-in-training though she is particularly fashion conscious, especially when it comes to colour choices, tending to change her color schemes based on the weather or the season.
That being said, generally most will see her in her middle school uniform; a white shirt, blue skirt, black thigh high socks and a red blazer. The blazer is generally replaced with a thin sleeveless pale tan sweater during summer, though this is considered optional at the school.

✖ Personal physical contact
Personality:
Forceful and spirited, Kimi tends to be very animated in how she speaks and interacts with others, even despite her intense anxiety and dislike of physical contact. In fact, many who know her (especially from her middle school) would describe her violently abrasive, cocky and just generally unpleasant to be around. This unfortunate combination of traits made her somewhat lonely in school and she developed a lot of issues with social interaction as a result, developing a soft superiority complex at a young age and retaining her childish tempers.
A lot of people see such a smug, arrogant personality as detrimental to her success as an idol but perhaps in spite or perhaps because of her interesting personality she has gained a small following. Her image to the public therefore is of a somewhat tsundere-ish, confident and pompous; however, in reality it appears to be more of an extreme reaction of her anxiety. When surprised or presented with a situation that she's uncomfortable, she tends to react badly, say the wrong thing or come across as too standoffish than she intended. Once again, this leads to her having little friends.
However, those who do befriend her throughout all of that will find a protective, dedicated girl who loves her friends as much, if not more than most others. Perhaps this is her true tsundere nature but she really does care about people and wants to protect as many as she can, believing life and love to be a very precious commodity.
HISTORY
Tragedy affects people in many different ways. Some become distraught even at the mention of a similar situation, some become hollow and find it difficult to return to life with the same vigor as before, some react with anger and rage, or by turning to vices like drinking, drugs or gambling. Some react by dedicating their lives to making sure it never happens to anyone else ever again. It would be pertinent at this point to mention that this story contains some rather sensitive topics; if the thought of someone taking their own life is triggering to you, please do not read further.
That being said, Kimi's life was relatively normal. Normal, mostly Quirkless parents, even if her dad had vestigial hare ears as a random mutation. Kimi would often balk when her mother complimented them, calling them cute. Embarrassing parents were of course the most of her worries as a child, she didn't exactly have much else to think about. Her older brother were both born with this vestigial mutation as well; with Kimi believing they looked silly while her older brother embraced his unique feature.
Something changed in him after he turned 14. Kimi was a few years younger than him, so she wasn't exactly privy to a lot of what was going on, she simply believed he'd started becoming a bad boy, or at least a rulebreaker. It turns out he was doing much more than breaking rules, he was breaking laws. Going out at night to protect people and fight criminals just like his hero on TV, the famed Vigilante 'Mr. Impact'. Kimi saw how much her brother idolized him, how even when he felt sad or down, talking about Mr. Impact would brighten up his day, make him feel better.
So when Mr. Impact died...
A large part of Kimi's brother died with him. He looked hollow, gaunt, felt so distant all of a sudden. He wasn't eating right, his grades at school dropped dramatically, he never seemed to have that goofy smile he always used to have. It was as if life had lost all meaning and purpose to him.
Only a few short weeks later, Kimi's brother was found dead in his room, overdosed on prescription painkillers and alcohol.
Kimi was too young to really understand what was going on or to really grasp the meaning of anything back then but as she grew up, looking back on her brothers life, she realized just how important Mr. Impact was to him, how integral to his world he was. As stated before, people deal with grief and loss in very different ways. Kimi chose to became the change she wanted to see in the world.
As she went through middle school, her attitude tended to get her in trouble with her classmates quite often, bullied both because of her Quirk and because of her smug, holier-than-thou attitude at times. Yet always when she saw someone being bullied or pressured or harassed, she'd step in. Often this would just result in her getting into a fight but she tried her best, at least. She wanted to be that Mr. Impact for someone, no matter what she had to do to get there.
Becoming a Hero was the most obvious way, of course but she realized as she matured that people took solace in celebrities as well and so began to train as an idol. This only seemed to increase the bullying at school, as they believed she would never make it as an idol but, ever the determined soul, she wasn't going to 'let those assholes tell her what she could and couldn't do'.
