It had been the deal that she would come on Friday night, would leave on Saturday afternoon or night. But today was Monday morning and she had not been home all weekend, which was stupid. She had a cat to take care off and she seriously wondered if Kuro was angry at her or not. She had also overslept, just being in the arms of someone else was the most wonderful place to wake up at and to be really honest, Nimue had lack of sleep and worries and this weekend that seemed to have been lessened. She had woke up smiling until she saw the alarm clock on Giovanni's side of the bed, which made her jump up and hurry. She asked him to drop her off at home, so she could get clean clothes and pick up Kuro and oh she hated herself that morning. It had gone all a bit hectic. Her hair in disarray even though she tried to put it in a ponytail and she had tried for a few seconds to put her right shoe on the left before finally settling that trying to make haste will only make her slower. She declined breakfast, saying she would eat something while she walked to school and would just like to go home and hurry before biology would be a thing today or some kid needed her help because who knows what the first classes were for today.
Nimue kissed her man goodbye a couple of times, snickering as he held her and she kissed him again and again. Downstairs, in front of her apartment. She had once heard that it was not common in Japan, that it was bad, but they both weren't raised here, so it was probably something easily that slipped their mind. "I really, really have to go." She had already stayed a whole day long, maybe even one and a half-day longer, so she had to go. "I will text you if I make it on time and call you tonight, okay?" She tried to make rhyme and reason in her brain to leave him behind and really go to school. Staying in bed today would have been much nicer but they both had work today.
Finally, she managed to drag herself out of this situation and go upstairs. Where she found no cat. The food was gone, there was still water and she believed the vest was gone too. Yea, she had not been a really good cat owner today and she would seriously have to apologize to Kuro when she saw him, hopefully he went to school by himself. She put up a bowl of fresh fish in case he wasn't and just got out before she got in and went to her bedroom to quickly change into some more professional clothes fo her job as a teacher. Fixing her hair, putting on foundation so the red markings on her face were invisible once again and switching her sneakers for flats, made Nimue ready to go to school. She always walked to Yuuei. It was only about ten minutes, after all, to get there and it was a nice change of pace for this moment. There was barely anyone out there. She grumbled to herself; of course not, you were late and you are walking here like nothing is happening. She shook her head to herself and watched where she walked.
Wait there was something she heard? But before she could do anything, she felt a strong arm locked around her shoulders and a hand against her face, with a cloth? She had no idea, pushing and pulling, trying to scream. Her bag fell, her phone as well but the person who did this to her, apparently wasn't interested in any money or phones. They did not let go and she tried to pull a little harder, okay, trying to channel her quirk but... she felt drowsy. Why wasn't Uphondu helping? She could kick this guy away with more power than just the back of her foot, with more strength than just pulling the arm that locked her in. No... no... what was happening? She felt herself falling and yet she did not fall.
Nimue did wake up, of course, eventually. The problem was that she had no idea where she was and how much time had passed. She was simply dropped on a dirty ground and her hands were tied behind her back as well as her feet were tied. Okay, well, she could channel her quirk and nothing would happen, but Uphondu didn't respond. No one did, it was very quiet in her brain and very scary at that point. Nimue always counted on their voices, on their advice, on their everything. Where were they? But worse; where was she? She did hear sounds she could not place, but that happens in all sorts of locations, right? Especially if you have never been there. She felt a drop of water that fell on her skin and it made her yelp and shiver while nothing really happened. Pure fear?
Finally, she heard footsteps again and she tried to push herself upright to look a little more decent, but should she even try. She was in civilian outfit, they had probably no idea who she was. Which was a good thing, right? She still could not believe, she was taken and kidnapped on broad daylight. "Hello Witch Doctor."
That drip, that had fallen before, it felt as if it now made its cold way over her spine, but it were just shivers. So... they did know. But how there was nothing to- "You probably wonder where you are and why. Well, you have to be punished you see. No one is waiting on a vaccine yet. And yet here you are." Her still amber coloured eyes (she rather wish they were red or blue), turned big in surprise. How did they find her? How did they know her?
How did the Plutocracy get her?
