This was nice.
The roaring flames, the faint scent of burning paint through the filters of his mask, the thick fumes blocking a good chunk of his vision as the air around him became so rapidly polluted. A few barrels of quirker produced oil, some well planned placement, and all it took was an initial incendiary charge and the entire place was up in flames. Burning to the ground. Bit by bit. Odds were barely a fraction of what this building once was would be left and those inside would die a fierce and brutal death, their bodies in their last moments of life curling into balls as their muscle fibres snap and contract with the heat as their bodies withered and dried up in the glory of the fire.
This was nice.
But it wasn’t what he wanted.
This was a trail run still, and just that, as far as Niso was concerned. He had bigger fish to fry than he ever would by burning down this random old building… but you can only really do an arson the once unless your EXTREMELY dedicated, and while Niso was… he needed to make sure the first time stuck. After that day he never wanted to think of St Marta’s ever, EVER again. It would be one and done. The place burned to the ground. Naught but ash in his wake.
That was nice.
That was a nice thought.
Of course this fire still raged and Niso was borderline in the middle of it. Dressed in stolen fire-man clothes and with a heavy duty gas mask clinging to his face, Niso adjusted the rim of the hard red helmet-cap he’d stolen also to complete the set, humming happily to himself as he walked without a care through the flames, flicking and licking at his skin through the old tattered holes in these second hand flame retardant uniforms, his eyes drifting left and right as he just… strolled, at a leisurely pace, observing the chaos he’d wrought in such a short time… but looking to see how he could make it better. What burned fast. What burned slow. What exits were unuseable. What methods were there of escape…
His eyes drifted to a cowering couple. While the bottom floor of this building was some sort of marketplace store, the upper flaws he’d been blindly walking through seemed to be apartments. Coated in soot a young woman holding her unconscious boyfriend, glaring at him with tears in her eyes and trying to hold her boyfriend protectively… though it could not be seen behind the masks filters, Niso smiled… and you could feel it in his eyes alone.
“Don’t worry… the more of you that die here, the more evil, cruel, vile old people I’ll be able to kill when I do this again.” That of course wasn’t an exact equation. A Death in his trial run did not equal a death in st marta’s but… it was an amusing enough concept for him, walking on by with another lazy chuckle in his throat.

“Feng if you’re on route move quicker. Building on fire, possible civilians inside. We’re going in low, use those legs of yours to go in high.”
The comms with Red Horns voice chimed in as Feng was en route to the site of the emergency. “Copy that, Red Horn. eta will be about a few minutes so hang on”, she answered as her eyes sweep the landscape to see the burning building in the distance. It was perhaps the last thing she wanted to do due to her quirk being heavily reliant on breathing techniques. It could serve as a problem challenge since it is out of her element. However the dangers are not to be ignored as she could easily suffocate or cook herself alive via her own quirk.
‘Burning Building, huh? Why do I get the feeling that some kind of hobgoblin did this sort of random attack for fun?’,Feng muttered to herself as she jumped from rooftop to rooftop. She kept her mind busy by thinking on how to get in and get out quickly with the civilians as she back flipped and "flew" across the city landscape. A few onlookers caught a glimpse as the Red-Haired girl leaped and bound effortlessly while she caught muttering to herself.”Just gotta keep my eyes on the prize and not worry about failure...I can do it”, she said to herself as she neared the scene of the emergency.
“Showtime, Dragoon”, she said to herself as she put on her goggles and mask to prevent herself from inhaling the smoke as she got closer and closer. It was getting tense as the anxiety started to rise as the thought of burning alive or the idea of leaving someone to burn started to intrude. But she slapped herself as she reached the edge of the building, her eyes glowed as she took a deep breath. “Making an entry in 3….2…..1..!”
Feng busted through the window and already she found a couple of civilians cowering in fear. One male who is unconscious and a female who is scared out of her mind. She found her first victims that needed to be escorted out but she had no viable way to get them both out. The heat was unbearable as fire was quick and it raged on from the top floors. People were going to die if they didn't get out but something covered the exits. Some quick thinking was done as she quickly grabbed the couple and jumped out the way she came in. If she can't find an exit then she makes her own damn way out. But she needed to be smart as the more holes she makes means more hazards to be falling onto the street below. Setting the couple down and calling for an ambulance, she reassured them that everything would be alright and then kicked her way into another window. She didn't have time to radio Red Horn as she needed to make use of her time quickly.
But as she made her entry, she soon came face to face with a lone fireman standing in the midst of the flames. The sight confused her as she stared the fireman down. ”Did Red Horn mention that emergency services were already on the top floors?”,was her first idea but then the realization soon hit her.” No, that can't be right...she would have mentioned it or at least radioed in’ , she thought as she stared down the fireman. Something about the firemen was off and parts of her mind were screaming run but she needed to find more civilians to rescue. It may be her assuming things but she did not trust this figure one bit as he was standing calmly in the flames.
“Seems like I wasn't the first one here….but I'm going to assume that you’re not with emergency services now are you?”, Typhoon Dragoon remarked as the flames raged on around them. She took a fighting stance as she wanted to be safe but all of her instincts were screaming for her to run. Her eyes glowed through her goggles as she awaited the figures response to her crashing in.

The shattering of glass sounded behind Niso as he walked away from the couple he’d left scared and under the flame’s mercy, tilting his head about slowly, stunned a little by the burst of glass he wasn’t expecting, and his eyes growing sharp through the visor of his gas mask. Heroes? Already? He… No. This was an outlier. He knew from experience even pro heroes weren’t this fast to respond. He must have just been unlucky and triggered things when they were already on the scene… already he was trying to counter this in his mind for when the st Marta’s plan began. He’d check the area, maybe create a diversion that would divert hero resources to another location first. Yeeeeah… that felt right. That felt good. He’d think it over more later but with the flames and heat waring down his brain he could easily consider that plan ‘good enough’ to say the least of it.
By the time the girl returned Niso had turned to face their point of entry, his eyes feeling like pointed daggers even through the protective shading of the gas mask’s visor, a wheezing of the filters sounding out as he took heavy, but slow, harsh breaths. His fists tightened at his sides as, even in this trial run, to his mind this girl had ruined his experiment. Ruined his fun even. No matter… it wasn’t like they could actually stop her in the long run, but that didn’t mean Niso shouldn’t still take their arrival quite seriously.
Seemed they were pretty smart too. Well, as smart as heroes could get. Putting the pieces together fairly quickly that Niso was more trouble than aid in the current situation. “Well I’d call myself an emergency service but… definitely not the ones your familiar with.” Niso moved carefully, stepping backwards. One heel at a time, the damaged floorboards creaking even under his weight, the hefty gear adding put a bit more pressure on his steps than he might have otherwise had. His eyes shifted to the right very briefly, a smirk forming under his filters that could be felt in his eyes as he turned his gaze back to Feng.
“I mean afterall if people NEED to die-“
Despite the backwards momentum Niso took a sharp hop back into a crouched position then darted forward like a coiled spring, remaining low like an animal as he burst towards Feng faster than she may have been expecting, his smirk turning into a wild grin behind his mask. The jagged sound of tearing metal coming through as his hand grasped at some loose, rusty piping of this old apartment building and tore it from it’s point on the wall, utilizing it as a makeshift weapon. “I’D CONSIDER KILLING THEM AN EMERGENCY!”
He could have spouted his usual chaos mantra but now wasn’t the time. This girl probably didn’t know who he was behind the mask yet and if he was gonna make it out of this he didn’t need anyone knowing that Niso Konto, Pinocchio, had mysteriously took up a fascination in high grade Arson. With a fierce swing that didn’t display a droplet of mercy, and a ringing sound as the hollow metal piping sweeped through the air, Niso struck sideways out against Feng. Despite his motions being wild and, presumably un-trained in their execution, there was an odd level of meticulousness to it. It came in faster than she may have expected and with a lot more force from the sound of how it cut through the air. If this man was untrained, Feng could at the very least assume he had a high level of natural instinct.

Feng stood there staring at the Masked Fireman and boy does this not look good. Emergency services would have brought more people but a lone individual is one glaring detail that she can’t overlook. The heavy breathing did not help as it only added to the tension that can be felt in the air. It can be cut with a knife. Of course he was the first to talk and….
Yep, totally not buying it. The moment the first sentence out of his mouth was complete garbage. Feng herself, a notoriously bad liar, can see through this kind of lie. His movements were worrying her and the alarms in her head were going off, screaming at her to run the hell away and not fight him. But if she runs away now, she is putting the lives of others in danger for the sake of her own safety. She can feel the face behind the mask twisted in its own fashion, she cannot see it but she can feel that something is seriously wrong with this man.
The next words out of his mouth confirmed her suspicions and she really didn't like that she was right this time. This is perhaps the worst case scenario for her and she can just feel the amount of pressure he is giving off with his presence alone. It GOT EVEN WORSE when he made the first move. Despite the looks and equipment, he is moving faster than someone in that sort of outfit should be moving. Is this one a quirker or someone who has some athletics in their background?! Whatever the case, she needed to move out of his way which wouldn't be too hard since he was pretty slow overall. But then the sound of jagged metal tearing and realizing that the fireman has decided to rip a rusted pipe off the wall and use it as a weapon and-
“Improvised weapon in an instant?!”
She instinctively dashed backwards to avoid the stab as he made another remark. The words drove home the fact that she has run into an actual bonafide villain. Not thugs, not scared girls out for revenge, but an actual villain who is out to kill. The sound of the pipe hitting another hard surface filled the burning air as she avoided it out of habit. It was faster than she was expected, the motion was sloppy but...yet it felt like it was done on purpose. Is that just pure training or was that something in him that made him do that?
“This is bad, this is really bad. I need to call Redhorn but it seems like this guy isn't going to give me a chance unless I run away….I need to stop him here and now..” Feng thought to herself as she got into her ready stance. Her right leg coiled and her left foot forward, she focused her energy and quickly blasted herself at the armed fireman. He was open after his initial swing with the pipe so she hit him at full force and sent him flying backwards towards a wall. Assuming that should knock him out for a bit.
She can’t waste time only fighting him as she needed to find more people, she ran through the burning building and searched for survivors. A part of her is keeping her senses open due to the fireman in the building who she hopefully knocked out. She just hopes it was just a normal arson and all of this can be solved within a matter of minutes. “C’mon, C’mon, please let there be more survivors”, she muttered to herself as she searched.

Niso wasn’t entirely up to date on the student situation. Since one of their number had toyed with his beloved painter he hadn’t needed to pay much attention to them at all. If there was one he recognized idling on the streets like that Kaz fellow he might offer them some attention, but beyond that… well, it ultimately led to a few questions in this moment. This girl was dressed like a hero but too young to be one by a long stretch. Perhaps a part of her quirk just made her look younger? Perhaps… likely not but there was a chance. More likely the UA students were being allowed on some form of patrol? He’d have to look into that. If the number of heroes was suddenly about to double he’d at least want to be in the know for tha-
A harsh pain to his side. Oh. She was quick. Seemed they were training those kids well. He was still in a low stance, but with the momentum of his initial swing he followed it with a grace VERY unbefitting to his form and attire, twirling about on the toes of his forward foot, bringing his improvised tool back around with him for a second pass at the girl’s face this time as he rose with the spin, his wild eyes locking briefly with hers-
“GAGH!”
The hero was trained. Faster. A sharp kick came to Niso’s side mid-spin ant the continued whirling of his armed hand swung narrowly above her head before the force of the kick truly registered with the rest of his body, feeling it rush through every cell like a tidal wave, the force rippling through his flesh as he soared backwards, crashing through a fire damaged wall into a spare room.
The hero moved on… but Niso was far from done. His spine bent at a weird angle? Child’s play. The muscle fibres in his back constricted around his spinal column and twisted it sharply, a sickening crack as his body snapped back into place and forcing himself to rise without the aid of his arms. He looked to the shoulder that had impacted the wall. Shattered? Not as fas as he was concerned. His internal processes did their magic, wrapping muscle around the wound and accelerating the healing process on the bone, while his muscles kept everything in place so he could keep moving. It was agonizing, but he’d learned to tune that all out a while ago.
Still, the process did delay him, and as he came out of the room he’d been kicked into, the sound of the door opening drowned out by the roar of all the flames, he spotted Feng had travelled to the floor below. He jammed the metal pipe down into his own floor, his body contorting through the slim gap in the railing of his own floow, spinning about, and swinging off that single point he’d created to come down kicking her across the face, releasing his weapon and leaving it on the floor above, tucking and rolling, his limbs contorting like a mangled tumbleweed suddenly coming undone as he splayed out in a position low to the ground, the visor of his mask now shattered revealing the left upper side of his face, a wild glint in his eye and the edge of his grin creeping far too high on his cheeks barely visible.
“Ya know watching the flames was getting boring! How about you and I have some fun instead?~” He chimed with a chuckle as he began to rise to his feet, his arms hanging limply by his sides. “Lemme guess… student huh?~ I know a girl who reeeeeeeeeeally hates you lot. I’m sure it’d be insulting to her if I let you out of here without some bruises…~ Maybe a few… cuts or gashes if I REALLY wanna make her happy.~”

Feng looking around the building as the flames raged was not an easy task. She had participated in various lessons but none of them were this intense or a burning building. Transportation of civilians in a lesson and actually doing it is proving more difficult for the immense weight on her shoulders right now. But she kept her pace as she searched the floor she was on before heading down a floor. Her mind wanted to hope that the fireman she kicked stayed down for the meantime. She will get him some help once she finds anyone else stuck in the building. “C’mon, C’mon, is there anyone here?!’, she asked as she went through the floor calling out to anyone. She kept her cool but it was clear that she is ready to panic at any moment.’ Only if the others were here, maybe they have more skills than her and they'd know what to do.’, she thought as she walked through the smoke filled halls.
The heat was the least of her issues as she heard an odd noise coming from somewhere. One part of her feared that it was debris that fell and that was the sound of it about to break. Her eyes quickly looked around as she tried to find the source of the noise before her eyes looked up and were met by a kick across her face. The pain was sudden and fast as she quickly caught herself. A part of her hoped that it wasn't the dude from before but here he is. But it was a ball of limbs that contorted and snapped back together, the very sight of it horrified Feng as she never saw a quirk like this. She got into a fighting stance and got ready but she didn't know what she was getting ready for. A chill went up her spine as she watched him slowly fix himself from his previously mangled state.
The only thing that she could do was mouth the words ‘what the fuuuuuuuck’. The man's face was now visible and seeing it only made her even more anxious.’That...is the look of pure evil..’, she said in her mind as she kept her dukes up. The possibility of her going up against a villain became real obvious as this man was not showing the most normal behaviors.Thugs she can handle with ease but this was a whole other level.
It got worse as he began to talk and was suggesting they continue their fight. But chill blew through as he knew she was a student.’How the hell does he know that? Who the hell is he?!’, she thought to herself as she kept a cautious distance away from him. Him talking about a girl who hates her kind as well only means that a few dozen things. One thing is that she has the worst luck and she is up against a lunatic and another is the fact that this girl he is talking about also hates UA students. The urge to run was strong but she kept her cool and stared at him with the same level of seriousness in her eyes.
“Really? Is that what you're going to give the gal? What's next, you're gonna take her for a night out on the town?”, she retorted back as she looked at him as he hung his arms like a madman. She gathered up her energy once more and quickly dashed at his direction and delivered a heavy palm strike aimed at the center of his chest. Aiming to knock the wind out of him and hopefully taking him down. He didn't put much resistance but something about him seems off and she can't put her finger on it.
“I reckon you change your gift plans since this gal is off the menu”

You know what psychopaths are ironically really good at? Reading faces. A lack of empathy filled the soul of a creature like Niso, but seeing a look of surprise at his guess of Feng being a student told him he was correct, his wicked smile creeping unnaturally high on his cheeks, so much so it pushed past the dense filter of his mask and creeped up into the view of the shattered visor. “Oooo. Right am I?~ Well isn’t that juicy. Ya know you think they’d teach you lout how to hide the look of fear on your faces. Heck I’d imagine that’d be lesson one!~” His motions were mildly exaggerated and expressive, gesturing over his own face when mentioning the fear she displayed, Niso moving like he couldn’t say a word without some idle sway or gesture with his hands to accompany it, very much a person who struggled to stay still.
“Still though… a student brought to a burning building… I’m not up to date with your school system but something about that doesn’t seem right…~” Niso, ever a bit of a wild card, started to step closer, the burning floorboards creaking with each step, idle flames licking at the edges of his stolen uniform. Expressing some of his typically under-utilized intelligence, he began to muse. “Either this is a dire emergency for you lot or… you’re doing something illegal… OR!” He chimed again, clapping his hands briefly with excitement. “Internships! That must be it! I heard they only let you tag along though… so that means to me… that a rule breaking hero brought you here…lemme know when I have it. HellHound? ZombieKing? I heard that woman with the diamond skin is a bit of a wild card… maybe… Red horn?” He’d idly muse, carefully watching how she reacted all the while as he closed towards her at a casual pace.
Regardless of how she reacted, she still took action and Niso did in turn, but this time he was far more prepared. His body flowed like a leaf on wind almost… if that leaf was made of flesh and contorting bones. The palm strike he went for earned a chuckle, one of his arms snapping and popping as it took in Feng’s own, wrapping around it like a trap, and even with the odd contortion Niso’s fingers still held strength, clutching around her elbow to keep her in place as he reared in towards her with a wild grin.
“GOOD THING I LIKE TO ORDER OFF MENU!~”
Pushing forward he slammed a fist right into her face with merciless force. It was nothing ‘special’. No super strength, he didn’t even feel like he trained his muscles or the like, but the way his fist swung ‘through’ her, almost like he had absolutely no sense of restraint, helped his punch… well, pack some punch~
“Ya know I’ve neeeever faced one of you lot before! Student or pro! Not for long at least… the rest of the hero lot who tried me all ended up quitting in the next few weeks!” He chuckled through his teeth. “Come on! Show me a bit of fun won’t you?!~”

Tch he wasn't wrong and he was getting really snide about guessing right. She can't exactly respond well to what he is saying. Feng is easy to read as an open book and the only thing that's preventing her from answering is to hide the immense panic she is feeling right now.’ I should've called for help...this would be better if I had some back up...but I need to make sure that he doesn't get to the civilians.’, she thought as she watched him move like the joker he is. Something in her mind is screaming to not fight him but every fiber of her being is telling her to take him on. It only got worse as he started to deduct why she was here...but how the hell does he even know so much about UA? She wanted to take a step back but she stood her ground as she was aiming for another hit. Her expression changed slightly as he guessed correctly yet again with pinpoint accuracy. It was getting scary to say the least but she kept it out of sight and out of mind.
Staying vigilant was the only thing she could do right now as she gathered up her energy. He was full of openings as his stance was a bit less ready. She took the opportunity to strike but the strike didn't hit its mark, not by a long shot as he was ready for it. But the sounds and his arm snapping and bending like a trap. Her expression changed for a moment to one filled with sheer terror as she was caught off guard by the horrifying sight. ‘What the fuck is that? Is that a quirk?!’, was what she mentally screamed out with as she was trapped in place for a moment. She regained her composure for a moment to realize that is possibly his quirk, but it doesn't change the sheer horror of seeing an arm bend like that before and this close.
“Shit this is going to hu-”, she thought as the fireman punched her straight in her face. It hurt but not as bad as she thought; it also hurt more than she expected as it felt like he wasn't holding anything back. Like a punch from a bancho from a bad school level of hurt in that swing. This form of grotesque fighting was something she had no experience in dealing. Nothing in her life prepared her to be fighting someone like this. It was a fight for her life and she needed to be ready for...anything. A fight for her life? A fight for her life!
“If I want to get out of here...I need to...take him...down”, she thought as a woozy feeling overtook her. The expression on her face lost some of its shine as it felt like someone else was in the helm. It was like at the docks and it was the same then, she is dealing with someone who is probably just as crazy. An odd feeling went through her as she gripped the man's arm to prevent herself from falling backwards. Her eyes had an eerie glow as she looked at the man with the coldest expression. It was her but at the same time it wasn't, this happened back at the docks but now she is only a bit more lucid than before.
“Gladly.’, she replied as she pulled on the man's arm to get closer and kicked him at full force with her left leg. Compressing more energy than usual to kick him through a wall and do more serious damage.
“I’ll try and see if I can be a good sport then...”, she said as the glow of her eyes shown through her goggles.

OOOoo the satisfying sound of bone clashing against bone through the miniscule cushion of a fleshy layer between them. Niso tended to prefer improvised weapons, maybe a katana if he was feeling extra nerdy that day and managed to find someone in the yakuza who owned one he could use against them, but sometimes nothing beat the straight up satisfaction of the force of a punch travelling back up along your arm. That was just the good shit at times like this. Of course the UA student wasn’t down and out, good. He never liked the fun times to be over before they even began!~ He released her from his arm, the fleshy sack of shattered bone slowly reforming, soft cracks and snaps as bone was held back in place by internal muscle fibres wrapping around them, and the healing process accelerated by his own control over his body. “Oooo getting feisty are we? My darling Painter was right, you lot really are just in it for the fun of it huh?~” He’d tease with a widening grin, the corners of it striking far too high on his cheeks to be in any way natural.
Something seemed to change in her features, but with a fluid motion swaying side to side he prepared to move. Had something actually changed? He wasn’t sure, but his attempts to pull his arm away entirely were halted as she caught his wrist, his own eyes briefly widening in surprise before he was pulled into a kick to his torso. Pain radiated through his body, especially his still healing limb as he was kicked oh so easily through a burning wall, groaning as he fell into his back in the rubble, flames continuing to lick at the edges of his costume.
“Well… that smarts..~” he whined out, wheezing a little through a punctured lung, and gasping sharply as his muscles ripped the rib out of his left air sac and quickly tried to repair the wound, coughing a bit of blood into his mask, easily ruining the filters and dragging it off his face as he rose up, a shoulder popping back into place. He gave off the impression of someone both inhumanely frail, yet impossibly durable at the same time. “But… good to see your taking me seriously…~” He looked to the mask now in his hand, realizing his face was exposed and chuckling a little under his breath. “Right right… I need a new mask don’t I…?”
The edges of his jawline started to sprout layers of skin, slowly stretching over his face like a thin membrane, thin enough to breathe through but taking a dense black color that made it hard to see the fine details of his face anymore… but the skin was fresh. Fetal like. Even with Niso’s quirk accelerating the process the cells began to boil in the heat of the fires around them, the black goo constantly regenerating as it dripped off his face, the eerie white smile and eyes that normally formed on his flesh mask now dripping and wavering in the heat, slopping down his face in a demented expression of glee.
“That’s better… Is this where I give my grand villain speech?!~” He offered, spreading his arms. “I’m kind of done with the whole ‘pinocchio’ shtick… you can just call me Niso…~”
The grin beneath his mask grew as he name dropped the title of Japan’s fifth most wanted criminal, lowering his stance before bursting forward with a manic chuckle through the thin layer of boiling flesh now coating and dripping from his face. As he closed the distance in a burst of a rush, he dragged a bit of shattered, nail laden wood from where he’d smashed through the wall, aiming to bring it down on Feng in an over head swing!

That hit way better than she thought as he went flying into the wall. He was starting to get on her nerves as he was talking so confidently. It made beating him down all the more better but his body distorting and twisting grotesquely did start to scare her at the amount of damage she was doing. ‘I need to find a way to knock him out, this guy looks like a living rag doll with how easily I'm kicking him around’, taking a stance but slowly backing away in horror as she saw him stand back up with his body twisting and locking back into what resembled a human form. Only in her nightmares where one could have witnessed such horror.
But it wasn't until she broke the mask and saw the man's face that she realized who he was by looks alone. Feng hoped it wasn't real and that this was a dream as he saw his face. It was melting in the fires and it took an eerie black color as his eyes and mouth were still visible. By all accounts, this is a nightmarish situation she found herself in as she was fighting someone who is very much out of her league. Not in terms of fighting power but in terms of who she is comfortable with. This man is a psychopath and whoever he was, it was obvious that he is someone who is broken beyond all belief.
It was then he spoke his name and Feng’s expression dropped yet again as he said two names that anyone would be familiar with. Pinocchio and Niso….one of the most wanted villains in the city and he was standing in front of her. She is facing one of the most notorious villains in a burning building with little to no backup. ‘No fucking way, it cant be’, she thought as her eyes narrowed in disbelief. Running into someone like him is the worst thing that could have happened. She needed a moment to process this entire deal but it was a moment that didn't last forever as the figure began to run at her with his disturbing guise melting.
The gap between them closed and he was going for another strike, she could see it coming but she had only so much time to react. She pulled her head back and narrowly avoided getting hit over the head with a nail board. The look of fear and determination painted her face as she went back into her fighting stance.’Wake the fuck up, Feng! We have a villain to fight’, she took action and she spun around to deliver a roundhouse kick aimed for his head yet again.
His face disturbed her but she fought through the fear as she needed to figure out how to incapacitate him. So she began to see what was most effective and what only added to the flames as she put up her dukes. Taking a subtle gulp she kept up her usual banter despite the horror she is witnessing, “Not everyday I get to fight a wanted villain, lets see if you live up to the title then, Real Boy”

The cartoon image of a face covering his own continuing to drool down his face like wet paint down a canvas, Niso’s expression was now permanently plastered on the mask in a form of glee. His assault didn’t show signs of stopping anytime soon either, as the nailed board she’d managed to dodge slammed into the floor, the nail firmly fixing it in place much to Niso’s delight. The momentum of his thrown arm flowed along the rest of his body, and with his weapon stuck in the ground he used it to pivot his whole body, flipping over his own shoulder like a raging tumble weed, a sly leg coming down over the rest of his torso and slamming down across Feng’s face, a delighted chuckle coming from Niso whether his attack succeeded or resulted in a miss.
He wasn’t so eager to be on the defensive all of a sudden. “Oh wooow I’ve never heard that one before! Good thing I ditched the whole alias game!” he chimed out with another gleeful tone, rushing forward after Feng as she likely began to backpedal on the defensive, swinging the board he’d ripped free of the floor left and right, over and over, with a lack of grace but an odd flow to his motions like the crashing of wild waves against a cliff, swing after swing as he forced Feng back, only to suddenly dip inbetween his own attacks, a splash of black melting flesh flicking towards her face from the sudden motion as he reared up a leg to kick her squarely in the torso. “How about YOU legs!?~ Walk much!?~”
Not the most witty of lines, but given her own that was partly the point. Having rushed her down with a wild offensive Niso had hopefully managed to at least back her up towards one of the more ruined parts of the building, the harsh kick to her torso aiming to send her tumbling backwards into some burning furniture, chuckling all the while as he watched her either stumble from his kick, or likely dodge backwards over it of her own accord! “See here’s the thing though, real boy or not you know I’m the one who set this up now… and I have plans in the works I’d rather you goodie two shoes not getting an idea of.~” Niso approached her a little more slowly, swinging the wooden plank from side to side as if winding up for his next offensive, definitely not eager to let her leave this place all too easily.

Pain was all Feng can feel as Niso relentless assault began. He was seeing through her guise of various remarks she was barely holding in the immense feeling of fear she was feeling right now. His entire body was a distorted nightmare of an opponent to fight. The human body wasn't supposed to bend the way he is doing so casually right now. She ate the hit he threw otu but she stayed on her feet as she kept her express steeled. The last time she felt this way was against an assassin...a villain and an assassin aren't so different in roles. Though a grasshopping relative and an insane regenerating villain are good differences to draw in this venn diagram of misfortunate as she was trying to keep her stance up in the heat.
“This is bad...really bad for me right now..”. She thought as she felt herself heating up.
Nightmare could be one word to describe this fight as she was trying to keep up her energy in the burning building. He was doing various moves she cant read and his banter was throwing her off as she cant quip faster than she can dodge. Feng took a few steps back to avoid getting hit by the board. But she was resoundly kicked as she found herself falling into his rhythm, the it knocked the air out of her for a moment as she flew backwards for a moment. Her surroundings got more and more ruined as she pondered on his little speech.’what exactly was he planning’ she thought as she kept her guard up. Trying to keep her face settled as she saw his melting mask of a face. There was a distance between them and she needed to do something to catch him off guard. There was one trick up her sleeve as she looked at him as she bit her cheek while lost in thought.
It all came rushing forth as she took an offensive stance as he came rushing at her for another assault. She’d find a window in the midst of his swing as she quickly changed stance where her quickly raised her right leg. Feng took aim as one would use a spring loaded gun and...she released her energy that shot her foot out at full speed that was aimed at his chest. Push comes to shove and she needed to see if her legs work exactly like how they looked.
‘Spring Loaded Extend’ were the words she thought as she went back to her ready stance.

Niso’s malicious yet fake grin that slowly dripped down the features of his fleshy mask seemed to grow ever grander, raising his wooden weapon up over his head as Feng stumbled back over the rubble. “Ya know I honestly expected you heroes in training to be a lot… more impressive, honestly… then again, if this is what the next generation of heroes are like, I suddenly have a lot less to worry abo-“
A sharp pain in his gut and Niso’s frail, lightweight frame was sent hurtling back along the room through the path of wild swipes he’d made while rushing towards the girl before him. His body crashed harshly into a kitchen counter of the home he was burning down, the pain in his gut sudden paling in comparison to the pain in his torso.
“Nnnngh.. that smarts…” He shifted uncomfortably but the pain seemed to heighten enough to bring a hiss of agony, soon followed by an unnerving giggle as he chuckled through the pain. Laughter was the best medicine in his case, his body reacting to such pain with an oddly ticklish response, even if in reality his brain was still screaming at him under the surface. He looked down to his torso, the piping inder the sink having collapsed from the impact, and a jagged metal piece of outdated piping now rammed through his chest where his heart should be.
“Well well well… maybe I… should have worried…!” He hissed loudly again, but continued to laugh as he grasped the counter top behind him and wrenched himself up to his feet again, a slick, gooey sound coming as his flesh clung to the metal pulling from his back, catching a few more muscle fibres on the way out, and leaving Niso with a gooey mess of a hole in his torso, fabric slowly drenched red around it but… bleeding far less than anyone should. Heck, he was standing up. That shouldn’t be possible to begin with. “Or not…!~”
Niso wasn’t dumb enough to keep his heart where it SHOULD be afterall, and so a gaping hole where everyone else kept theres wasn’t exactly a bother to him. Very slowly red lines of muscle were latching between eachother, veins reforming at the center of the gaping hole and slowly healing outward, strands of flesh trying to reconnect to one another as he stumbled forward, his mask melting enough to reveal his real eyes again, a wild look behind them.
“Ready to give up and die yet…?~”
Niso burst forward after a beat of silence following his question. He put himself as close to Feng as possible, his chest seething with pain all the while. Rather than aiming for her, he slammed down his impromptu weapon into the ground beneath her feat, the weakened, burned wood cracking and collapsing, trying to make her fall into the flames below!
Niso felt alive… so long planning and plotting… but here, in a fight, he could let loose, go wild with his desires. He didn’t have to worry in the slightest about the grand plan for just a few sweet moments.

Feng of course was glad that her trick worked on the villain but it was a momentary victory. He has demonstrated that he can take an immense amount of damage from her without issue and a trick like that wouldn't hurt him that much. A creeping sense of dread went through her body as she continued to fight against him. Every part of her soul was telling her to run but a sense of justice kept her in the fight as she followed him through the newly formed hole in the wall. It was stupid, it was idealistic , what was she even thinking taking on a villain on her own. She can use the radio but she refused, she needed to make sure he is captured by her own hand.
But to her dismay, she can hear him...laughing? It was faint but it was enough to snap her out of her self righteous stupor as she walked through. She saw his figure standing before her once again and a sheer look of horror went through her face as she saw the mangled body of Niso standing before her. “That….he can’t be alive, that's too much damage to the body..”,A gaping hole in his chest where she can see it should have pierced his heart. Rational thinking began to falter as she tumbled back for a moment as she saw. Yet his body still lives as it began to piece itself together bit by bit, fiber by fiber as she sent a shiver down her very spine. Is this a fight against a villain or a horror movie?
“What...the...fuck...is he?”, she thought as she tried to process what was happening before her. Nothing in her life prepared her for something like this; no amount of conditioning or training can prepare her for this sort of sight, She wanted to throw up, she wanted to run but she stood her ground as he stumbled towards him. He went for a dash as Feng got ready to jump back as per usual. But a moment of hesitation stopped her from kicking him away as she can feel genuine fear in her soul as he slammed into the ground.
“Shitshitshitshitshit gotta move, gotta move, gotta”, the burning wooden floor gave out as both figures began to fall to the floor below. Everything began to move slowly as she recalled this feeling before. The sensation of falling to her death became real as she felt out of breath. She tried to grab onto something but she was too much in shock to grasp anything as she saw the fiery abyss below. For a moment, she can feel all of her regrets rushing by her as she fell. ‘I..should’ve...went for it sooner’, was all that left her mouth. But in the back of her mind, something kicked in as her quirk activated out of nowhere and changed her trajectory as she broke through another wall and landed on part of the building that wasn't burning.
She took a moment to process what just happened before another burning debris fell on the ground before her. It jolted her back as she ran to the edge to see where Niso had gone as she looked down at the fiery abyss bellow. Her eyes scan the flames as she needed to confirm that he is still alive as she knows no sane person would dive into the flames like that.
‘Where the hell is he?! I need to take him in, not kill him...If I end up responsible for the death of a villain then...everyone would...no...he has to be alive god dammit”

Niso’s own wild nature was about to be his downfall it seemed, as his strike to the floor hadn’t solely ruined the floor beneath Feng’s feet but his own too, the wooden panels damaged by fire and the overall shoddy craftsmanship (similar to ST marta’s afterall) came undone beneath his feet and he soon felt himself plummeting. He was used to this too. Many a time he had tested his quirk’s borderline immortality by tossing himself off buildings to escape pursuers. He’d just never done it with a view of flame and death beneath him like this. He lashed out flailing for something to grasp onto, again his chaos being his undoing as his wild, unaimed reach missed the edge of a floorpanel on the already destroyed floor below, knocking his chin against it and feeling something in his spine snap as his back slammed into a bit of metal structuring of a floor even further below, slipping around it like a limp noodle, barely managing to grasp the beam that had shattered his back, his desperate eyes constantly glancing between the fiery death below, and the activities of the floors above.
Soon enough… that girl was in his view, and while the melting mask upon his face still displayed a delighted glee, there was perhaps a slither of true, genuine fear in his exposed eye. It was the same everytime he faced something he hadn’t survived in the past. There was no guarantee. No certainty. He could die. He was afraid.
“H-hey! No chance of a hand there?~ Won’t be getting back the feelings in my legs for a good moment here…!~”
His voice still came out with a playful tone, and he tried to mask the fear in what little of his true face was exposed, but to go from murderous to asking for aid? He was certainly in dire straights. A chunk of burning rubble crashed past him, narrowly swinging his body to avoid being caught by it. His heart pumped faster and faster and even his quirk couldn’t calm it. The sensation of feeling conscious panic through every cell in your body was a truly dire sensation indeed. As the rubble fell to the flames, they roared and burned with more fervor, looking like a burning maw ready to eat Niso alive. His frail body trying to pull up it’s own weight as he reached out a hand, but there was a good floor’s distance of unstable footing and shattered wood between them.
“Come oooon… you’re a hero… you gotta right?~” His words almost came out as mocking, even in his need.
