The group Nimue looked most forward to if she would dare to admit, was the third years. She wasn't a homeroom teacher, to see how the three of them developed was rather interesting. She had seen Yumi and Feng together in action with the issue a couple of years ago but that was most of what Nimue knew about them. She knew Yumi's interest in first aid and her progress because of a simulation class she had given last winter because she could not patrol herself. Not that it helped, she bumped into people when you least expected it anyway but today was not the time to think about it. There would be no villains where they were going and in case they were, she had three capable students with her, so nothing to fear. Now there was nothing going wrong but just in case, she had thought about it. She had brought everything she normally did and let the students know to come dressed appropriately, hero outfits were not necessary but if they wanted to that was fine too. They just had to be prepared for a hike in the forest near Musutafu and so on. So it was that and that they would be able to use their quirk and so on. Nimue had rented a car so they would drive there and they did not have to worry about that and meet her at the entrance of Yuuei. They should think about what to bring themselves but she had said she had made lunch packages for them, so not to worry about that. It was the least she could do as she was excited about just a trip and Nimue would see how it went this time. It was all split apart and it was going to be fun, though it was not as interesting as all the other classes, she hoped that getting out of the classrooms was a very interesting thing to do for the students in general.
Now that she was just outside, the items for the class and general things she picked with her were in the trunk and she would wait for the three students to show up. She realized that they not all lived in the dorms but this was a central point of meeting, so that was easiest for her and she knew how to drive from this point to the forest, which was another ideal point. She would just wait for them while checking the weather app that she had, seemed that it would only rain late tonight, there was a strong wind going on but in general the weather was nice, the sky was blue, the heavy clouds seemed distant enough and it was not too hot. She was casually dressed, her hero outfit was not made for this, it was made for just staying anonymous and that was not necessary with these students. She would see what they would all bring soon and she would just be interested, it was just a class and she did not plan on scolding anyone about their own ideas, she hoped they knew that. She looked forward to today and it would soon start.

Yumi wasn’t too sure what to expect from the biology trip, but seeing only her closest pair of friends had signed up for it, she’d been subtly excited for the past few days, a smile on her face even this morning as she decided on what to wear. Since she’d had multiples of her hero costume made, and she was a third year now, she’d gotten special permission to keep one at home so she didn’t have to keep walking to school to get it, buuuut… she was debating if they’d even need it. Nimue had said they could come in hero attire if needed, but as she glanced down to her wrists and the bracer like bracelets that Red had made her to handle a few shots… yeah. They were going to the forest afterall. If bad guys randomly attacked she wasn’t gonna need a full suit to take them out. It wasn’t like anyone serious would randomly kick up crap in a forest afterall.
Yeah, she should be fine. She threw on some more casual clothes but made sure to keep her bracelets and of course her necklace should things get rough. The fuses in the bracelets could only last a few shots but they’d likely not even be needed, so why threat about it. Beyond that she had on some cargo shorts, a favourite for the deep pockets, camo print thigh highs, a green tanktop and a half-length orange hoodie, zipped up of course. It was a simple yet in her eyes mildly fashionable set, and if they were going on a school trip she assumed they’d be allowed a little more freedom in their attire. The school uniform wasn’t exactly designed for a forest hike afterall.
“Hey Red You ready?” She’d chime as she headed down the stairs, while he lived in her room most of the time now most of his stuff was still in the garage so they tended to get changed separately unless he was just throwing yesterdays clothes back on again. She’d hook a satchel over her shoulder, and deliver a swift kiss to his cheek as he came out wearing whatever he was going to, squeezing one of her arms around his as they made their way to school for the trip. It’d be a nice break from the usual practical lessons they got…
Probably meeting up with Feng on the way given how close they lived together, Yumi raised her hand to catch Nimue’s attention as they got close. “Heeeey Nimue Sensei! I brought some note taking stuff in my satchel, wasn’t sure what else we’d need… you said you made lunch right?”

It was time for another biology trip and of course Feng is excited. Despite not being in much contact with Ms. Nimue over the years, she looked forward to this trip the most. Most or all of it can be remembered fondly as she recalls her younger self and Yumi working together for the first time. Though it was a dangerous situation due to the various things that transpired during that. A part of her hopes it was going to be another relaxing trip but another part of her wants something to happen. Only for the fact that she wants to show how much stronger she got over the years and maybe even see her friends in action. It was a welcome change than being on the opposing end of a rail gun.
Her outfit this time around was more simple compared to her other elaborate outfits as of late. Feng's hair is worn in her usual pigtail braid and her outfit is a red and yellow high collared athletic jacket adorned with several pins, some running shoes, a mini skirt and underneath were a tank top and black compression shorts. She was feeling more sporty and casual this time around as she needed a day to breathe. Her hero outfit wasn't needed for much of her quirk as most of it was just for extra equipment and body temperature regulation. Plus, it's a school trip and not a lesson involving combat so she is allowed to relax a bit.
If anything does attack them, she is more than ready to fight them off as she is pretty much ready to fight at any time. Adding on, two of her best friends are here as well and they are pretty damn strong in their own rights. It was just the three of them and Ms. Nimue so it's all going to go well. Trouble is going to be a non issue with the group she has. The only thing she hopes for is that she looks good.
“I’m heading out Aunt Mei! See ya’ later!”she said as she slipped on her shoes and grabbed her bag. The contents were a: thermos, a notebook, beef jerky, granola bars, a towel and a solar battery with charger. Luckily for her, she moved out of the dorms and lived near her friends house. She did run into them along the way but was met with the sight of them locking arms. Pouting for a moment, she followed suit as she locked arms with his other and kept close.'[smear:#12882e]Is this really how youre gonna react? Shut up, Fei[/smear:#bd1f19:0]", Fei said and Feng retorting in her head as they walked.
“Niiiimue-sensei! How long will be the trip there? Just want to make sure so nothing big happens during the ride!”,

"Yeah, just gimme a minute Yumi." Red would call back to Yumi, just finishing up what he'd been working on last night and making sure he was good to go. He wasnt sure what to expect today, but he'd packed a few things accordingly. Some snacks, some reading material, a notebook just incase he had to make notes on things that Yumi would find more use for than he would, a handheld and some games, and the other general school trip nessecities. He had no idea where they were going after all, so if they were in it for the long haul he wanted to make sure that he wasnt bored.....not that he would be, considering who he was with but.....it payed to be prepared for this kinda stuff, right?
Red didnt exactly know why he'd signed up for this thing. He'd initially brushed it off, since he wasnt the biggest fan of biology, but after taking a peek at the sign up sheet and seeing Yumi and Fengs names on it, he thought Fuck it, why not? And put his name down. Plus, having taken a closer look at the sheet, They'd be basically going on a small adventure or something, it didnt really say much beyond that....and Red was a curious lad when it came to adventure, especially when it'd involve his friends, so its not like he'd regret signing up. Hopefully. He was also an idiot.
Plus, the odds of anything bad happening were pretty low. Even if anything bad did happen, they had a teacher with em and, according to the sheet, they could bring their gear if they wanted. Red figured they probably wouldnt but.....Well, he was a paranoid lad. Even after a year at UA, he hadnt stopped watching his back whenever he went outside, makin sure that he wasnt about to get jumped by some old "friends" or some random guy who just decided that his day was the one they were gonna ruin.
Its why he always kept his quirk gear on him at all times, unless he was forced to take em off but....usually he got away with it. Helped to control his quirk after all, couldnt take em off. Least that was the excuse he used whenever anyone asked. Today would be no different in that regard. While everyone else was probably takin it casual today, Red probably looked like he was ready for a fight. Which, to be fair, he usually always bloody was.
He'd wouldnt be wearing his usual coat today though. It wasnt like he was working or doin hero stuff, so he could probably get away with it....besides, he kinda missed his old jacket a bit. So, with said red jacket, black hoodie and a shirt underneath, black jeans and his skates, he'd put his gear on, sticking his hilt belt on, and bring himself outta his dusty garage into the living room....where Yumi immediatly grabbed his arm and kissed him in the cheek. He just pecked her back and rolled his eyes in response. He really was a lucky bastard.
So, with his arm linked with hers, they'd both head out. He'd already cooked breakfast, and he'd packed snacks along with the other stuff he was supposed to bring so it wanst like they'd go hungry.....plus Nimue had apparnetly made lunch for them all, so he didnt need to bother really but.....you never know what could happen and stuff.
On the way, they'd pick up Feng, since she lived literally down the block, and beyond a slight pout and also linking her arm with his which was.....weird, made his chest feel strange and his face to get a little redder, but he probably didnt have anythin to worry about.....beyond why this made him feel kinda happy for some bloody reason but....yeah. They both seemed pretty chill with eachother now. England stuff must have finally passed over or somethin.
"Hey Teach, where we headed? He'd greet Nimue once they got to UA, still a little awkward considering the situation, takin a look at the car she'd rented for today to try and distract himself. Looked nice. "Hey, dont worry about food Yumi, i got some stuff just in case........by the way, who wants shotgun?" Red'd joke, wanting to point with his thumb but.....well his arms were currently occupied by Yumi and Feng. God, how much of an arsehole do i look like, right now? He'd ask himself in his head. |

She should once investigate in who was still living at the dorms and who was not because she turned away from the car and looked at the three walking together and crossing the street to come to Yuuei and she almost invisibly shook her head with a smile. She could have almost offered to pick them up if they were in the same place or near each other. She just had not thought about that, it was not that bad, to be honest. They would have to come to school anyway and she smiled at all of them. At least they seemed to be ready to go. That was good and she opened the trunk for the two girls and Red to put their bags or jackets if they wanted. It wasn't something mandatory, she could imagine some people liked to hold on to their bags.
She gave a little smile to Feng, "is it okay if we talk about it in the car? Then we arrive faster." She said to everyone after greeting them and making sure to step behind the steering wheel. "So the driving part will be twenty minutes from now. There is a bit of a forest just outside Musutafu from here and it's a nice territory to hike through. So I hope we will be back at the end of the afternoon, I didn't plan to be attacked by our rescue robots so I left them at the school, Yao-san, so don't worry." The nurse said with a little tease because she knew that was probably also not what Feng had in mind. So she would drive to their destination if no one else said something, she would just look at the two in the back through the rearview mirror and shortly to the one who took the seat next to her. "I hope compared to last trip that this one can be just educational when it comes to biology classes, a little more fun than just learning from the book." She said in case not everyone was happy with biology, they might be more excited about going outside.
Twenty minutes passed rather quickly. She would just open the trunk again and put on her coat and take the backpack that she had. She would sling it across her shoulders and strap it secure with the clicking system one above her chest and one around her middle. The third years looked ready for the trip, properly dressed and she was rather glad about that, she might go to the cave system that was a little further into the forest to go and see if they could find the herbs there. So she would close the car, make sure everyone was ready before she left to follow the (starting) green trail that was not too far from the car, the start of their forest trip. She hoped it was going well, no strange things happening as well that the three students would have fun. Because that was basically why she did it.

Twenty minute drive huh? Not bad really. She'd been on longer trips with her mom and Dad outside of town. Heck she'd had trips by train that even took a longer time than that so it really wasn't like they had any reason of getting bored or anything, Yumi perking up a little at the general fact and shooting the other two a bright smile. When Red Joked about shotgun, Yumi herself was recognizing how... well. Clingy. Feng was being again. She briefly wanted to tease she should be the one in shotgun but it didn't seem like the time. She'd pull back a little and whisper in Red's ear when Feng was putting her bag in the back.
"Think you should call it. I'll sit behind you and then that way you get a bit of distance from Feng without her feeling lonely...?"
She felt a bit bad about the suggestion but it might be for the best given how much Feng had... escalated, in the recent days. They were considering asking her to move in just so she didn't have to deal with her aunt and cousin and all the depressing naps on her roof or whatever and she knew Red needed a bit of space to process things without Feng getting all touchy-touchy again. Assuming Red was okay with that, Yumi'd even take the bullet for him, dipping between him and Feng and hooking her arm around the hot-legged heroine's before she got back to Red. "Hey Feng I think its you and me in the back! Red's looking for a chance to rest his eyes some more in the front!"
Probably not the best excuse but hey it was something right?
Whatever the seating arrangement ended up being in the end though, the trip was at least nice and quiet, Yumi glancing out the window here and there. It had been a long time since she'd actually left the city more developed areas so seeing the buildings slowly become more and more sparse was a sight in it's own right, but the forest they were approaching was definitely more eye catching... kinda made Yumi realize how long it had been since she'd seen so many trees in one place. Huh...
Car stopping she'd eagerly hop out and run round to grab her satchel, hooking it over her shoulder and resting her arm on it on her other side. "Ya know... I think any biology trip would be 'more educational' sensei. Didn't we get a fake attack from the riot police hero last trip?"

Feng...had a hectic couple of days to say the least. With so many things happening at once, she of course developed some strange habits that of course caused some concern for her friends. She understands the concerns but there's a lot for her to sort out in terms of what her standing is. A part of her feels...conflicted with her friends; one part enjoys spending time with them but another feels guilty. She hid it well as she always does but she feels like...nothing is going anywhere. Her moving in with her friends and all the commotion is fun and all...but it feels like she is intruding or forcing herself to fit in…..Whatever the case, she gives a thumbs up to Nimue as she gave her colorful response and assures her that nothing bad will happen this time. Taking a moment to put her bag in the trunk, she wonders where she will sit...maybe the back or front.
Yumi then chimed in with her suggestion which caught her off guard, “Oh, sure!”, were the only words that left her mouth as she followed along with her suggestion. It helped her decide faster, but her mind started to wander yet again. As she got into the car and simply stared out the window. It was quiet and serene, it helped keep her mind off her problems and was a good change in scenery.
She hadn't seen this many trees since her...training session on her own after the sports festival. All of these trees started to become a blur as she recalled her younger self kicking a tree and getting frustrated over her tournament knockout. It all reminded her of the isolation, without anyone to talk to. Of course it gave her a discovery of her quirks fire capabilities but if it didn't happen...she would be in a darker place possibly."This is not the time to have these demons coming back...just focus on the forest..", Her expression grew more melancholic as she came close to their destination, it was a short ride but it felt like it was longer.
It would've been opportunistic for Fei to chime in with her usual demeanor but she remained quiet since they were on the road. But she kept her mouth shut as she simply relaxed in the car.
As the car came to a stop, Feng came out and stretched her arms for a bit. Taking in a breath of fresh air as a light breeze blew through. Her facial expression lightened up as she looked at the forest. But something about it still felt off if one were to look at her closely. She grabbed her bag from the back and added on to Yumi’s statement since it reminded her,
“Nimue-sensei, did they ever find out what was that water creature that attacked us?”

"....You sure? I mean, uhhh....." Red would try to argue it, since he'd been the one who asked about it but.....he really didnt feel like it today. He already felt weird thanks to a certain someone clinging to his arm, and if he could avoid that for atleast a little bit, it'd be real nice. Maybe that'd give him time to think about stuff or....atleast just bury it and deal with it later. He just wanted to hang out with his friends in a forest or wherever they were going, not have to think about very confusion fucking things this early in the morning. He hadnt slept enough for this kinda crap.
".......Thanks" He'd quietly sigh back out in response, squeezing her arm and pecking her on the cheek while no one else was looking. It was a biology trip, not a date, after all.....even if he'd technically packed enough for a picnic. "Y-yeah uhhh....didnt get much sleep last night....you know what im like, its the usual." Red'd go along with Yumis Lie since....well, she didnt give him a chance to tell her himself. He was just gonna say that he needed the space for his pack since he wasnt putting it in the back.
"Oh, We're hiking? Nice." Red'd ask as Nimue started to explain what they would actually be doing. Was supposed to be a quick drive, so Yumis excuse would exactly work well now, but they both knew he was used to working on barely any sleep, so it'd probably still be fine. Besides, That meant that they'd get to the stuff they'd be doing today quick, and be able to go home before the sun went down. Plus, odds were there probably werent any gas grenades or robots about to be shot at them, which was nice.
"Alright.....food, check, books, check, drinks, check, spare bracelets for Yumi, check...." Red would start to almost silently mutter to himself, checking his stuff one last time while they were underway, He'd like to know if he'd forgotten something before he needed it, but it looked like he was all set for now. He doubted he'd need his tools, and if he needed a knife to cut stuff he could use one of his hilts. He was prepared as he was ever gonna be, it was lookin like.
Still, the drive was long enough for his mind to wander to....weird places, it looked like. He couldnt get whatever feeling he had in his chest to fuck off and die, it was here to stay, confusing the fuck out of him. For some reason he felt like he should have tried to fit in the back with em, so that they were both happy or something but....why though? Why'd Feng of all people make him feel all weird and stuff? He thought he'd figured this crap out in England with Yumi, why was it coming back now? He'd look in the back for a couple seconds, just....wondering what whats up with him these days
Luckily for him though, he wouldnt get to dwell on it for long, since they arrived at their destination pretty quickly. He hadnt realised they'd been driving through a forest for a little bit, but once he did his eyes lit up a little. Red liked forests, He'd always practiced jumping through trees and stuff back in the old days.....Plus it was VERY fuckin easy to run into one to lose whoever was following you....Ahhh....those were the good old days.... He'd sarcastically think to himself.
Jumping out of the car, he'd wait for everyone to grab their stuff, do one final check that he had all of his gear in case he somehow had still forgotten something, and once he figured out that he was fine, just slug his bag on his back and joined everyone else, Ready to get going. "So....what are we doing here anyway?" He'd ask. |

So now everything was explained the trip towards the forest was a rather quiet one. But some people needed to snooze off she heard so she decided not to ask too much questions. When they finally arrived after 20 minutes, there was no really a parking lot but she parked the car next to a small green path that they would follow a bit later. She could maybe go to the cave as she thought about before and she watched as Yumi opened the trunk and waited for them to take the stuff out before she got her own backpack and so on. All questions rolled out of their mouths and she tried not to giggle about it. "You are right Tasukai-kun, I just hope it will also be fun. The last time the robots were there to pretend to be villains," And she turned to Yao-san and thought about it, but she still had no real answer, "Sometimes I cannot believe myself it happened, but it did and they said it was a sort of sentient reaction of the water. The investigation later said it might have been a prankster around but I don't know, I have not seen anyone around there but us." And of course Siegfried. She had, unfortunately, no answer for Feng and yet she herself, from time to time, wondered still what it was about either, and the grass with the other students, it had been a very strange phenomenon. She had not gone back to the forest there at least ever. Who knows, might be a nice trip.
But she did have a question to Red's question. "We are doing our biology trip here. The plan is to go and see what you can get from nature that might help you in specific situations, now not everything we find here we can find back of course in Tokyo for example but you might be surprised how much you can learn." She smiled at Reddarcc and hoped he would be okay with the answer. "I planned a few small things we could do but for now we first go into that." She pointed at the pathway that she had parked nearby. "We will walk a bit, going up a hill, so a short hike, it's quite steep though and there we will have a little break." And after that, they will go and see if they could get into the cave that was there.

Feng readily managed to remind Yumi that what she'd, at the time, believed was just part of the simulation they were running turned out to actually be some odd villainous water blob... yeah that... that hadn't been a pleasant accident. It already started out incredibly hectic given it had meant to be just a general 'trip', then it turned into a rescue exercise, THEN it was a more real rescue because of the water blob... honestly she was just happy this seemed to just be a more normal trip by comparison. After spending the car trip in the back with Feng she'd just silently slide up alongside him, resting her cheek on his shoulder for a few steps, more as a gesture of comfort than anything long term, since the moment they got moving it proved rather uncomfortable.
When nimue answered his question as to what they were getting out of this, Yumi very carefull whispered to Red- "So basically it's just gonna be an excuse for a nice bit of a hike." She teased. Afterally while Nature had it's charms and yumi was happy to be here... it wasn't like they were gonna find some magical quirk juice or some spawn of a new idea just out here in nature. Really though it sounded like a nice, simple time out.

Feng went on ahead as she wanted to stretch her legs and take in the scenery. Its been a long time since she was out in nature; the fresh air, the sounds, the smells, everything about it reinvigorated her as she just looked around. Her eyes could catch small birds singing and a few woodland creatures in the trees. A part of her wanted to jump up and run around the canopy but she refrained. A part of her was just tired of constantly running around, this is a time of relaxing and seeing how everything plays out. Fei’s reservations and banter in her head played out in her head but she was tuned out as she was already self aware of the situation she put herself in. So she left them alone in her own way as she just took in the sight.
A hike like this was nothing for Feng and it only emphasized how much she actually trained through the year. The trail became her playground as she always found new places to look out from and see new things. A flower here, a little rodent there, occasional deer could be spotted in the distance. All of it was a calming to her as she kept her focus on the trip at hand.
Soon they came up to a cave and Feng followed Nimue in. Though its an interesting sight that she didn't realize that her eyes were glowing in the darkness as soon as she entered. She didn't know how to bring up interesting conversation so she kept her cool and just looked around for any mushrooms or the like in the downtime.

"......What do you mean, sentient water? You tellin me water can have quirks now.....Oh wait, Melody exists, never mind." Red'd sarcastically jokin, a small, sly grin etching across his face. He hadnt heard much about what had happened around everywhere else due to.....well, not really remembering what happened. All he remembered was going into a cave to save some people from some robots with fucking laser sites with a couple people and then.....nothing. It must have all been a blur or something.....or really hard to remember considering how dark the cave had been at the time. Seriously, if he didnt have a flashlight on his goggles he would have been fuckin blind in there.
He did have to wonder where Melody went though. He'd never properly apologised for nearly blowing off his arm when they sparred, or really thanked her for her using her quirk to make sure his arm didnt need lopping off......causing him to need to carry her to the infirmiry afterwards. Though, to be fair, she'd just up and vanished somewhere. Maybe she'd gone back home or somethin for a bit, he didnt know. Woulda been nice to see her again....just so he could apologise.
"Oh, you mean survival kinda stuff? Or are we looking at rare flowers or something?....actually that'd be a good thing to find, really." Red'd inquire further, tilting his head to the side so his cheek rested on the top of Yumis head. She'd nicked his shoulder after all, it was only fair. Was a little bit of a bitch to deal with while walking though, so he'd opt for the traditional hand holding instead, lightly squeezing Yumis hand in his own for a few moments....mostly to calm his nerves being here. His other hand went in his pocket. It usually sat in there.
Now, to be fair, Red knew he was being kinda paranoid right now. He was with his girlfriend, who was probably the strongest student in the entire year, even without her suit, Feng, a girl who he knew could handle herself in a fight.....and someone he was feeling slightly guilty for right now, for some reason, considering how quiet she was being. Plus, they had Nimue, a pro hero with em. It was pretty obvious that, even if some jackarse was dumb enough to try and attack them, he'd immeditaly get knocked into the next dimension in no time bloody flat.
But Red couldnt stop his eyes from wandering around. Instincts were a hard thing to shake off, and considering he usually ran into a place like this to get people off of his back, he was slowly scanning the surroundings, taking in the scenery atleast, but keeping his guard up as much as he could. You never knew when someone was watchin ya, or planning on tryin to knock you out........or being an annoying fuckin prick who wouldnt leave you alo---
Listen man, all im sayin is that maybe you should....you know...talk to Feng. You already said this isnt a date so.....dont make her the third wheel here man....come on....... Hunter would ask, having been like this for the last 10 minutes. Seriously, the guy would not shut up whenever Feng was around, it was getting real fuckin annoying. Always going on and on about "not leaving her out", even though he didnt do that anyway, hell he put up with her bullshit more than most peoples! He just wanted a break for one d--
Dude come on, just a sentence, thats all ya need to start a conversation up. Hunter would keep talking, really trying to get what he wanted....and Red was gettin real tired of it. Hey, if you wanna talk to her, then shut up and let me. Or hell, why dont you do it yourself? That'd be a good idea. Im sure that'd go GREAT. Red'd retort, clear annoyance in his voice. Hunter just raised his finger, about to respond....and then slowly dropped it as he realised that maybe he shout shut his mouth. Yeah, thats what I thought.
Still.....the guy did have a point. Once they had started walking...no one had really said much. Sure, maybe everyone was talking in the surroundings, but it was still kinda weird....was kinda....soothing its in own way though. Peaceful. You know despite the mild paranoia but that was wearing off. But, it'd be awkward if no one talked the entire time since....you know, that'd just leave Feng out in the cold, really.
"So uhhh....Feng, you uhhh....like these kinda places? You know since you're looking around a lot and st---hey why are your eyes glowing?" Red would awkwardly ask at the end of his very, very awkward attempt to try and start a conversation. He was not good at this. Hunter groaned internally. Even though he wasnt much bloody better at it either. |

The conversation about the first surprise biology-rescue class was brought up and Nimue couldn't help but pout a little, she had really not liked the outcome of that day but what was there to do about it. "I highly doubt something like sentient water exists, but that was how it looked, it just did what it wanted, I do think for sure that it must be a prankster of some sort, that's the only logical explanation, someone that can control the water from a distant or maybe that person was in the water, I don't know, it was definitely not part of the plan." Leave out the sentient looking grass that lifted her up and had to be calmed down by Miku. That had been an experience she did not want to repeat again, but today was just biology, she would assure as much to everyone.
So they would start the path and she turned her attention to Reddarcc, "If we find rare plants that would be a bonus. The idea is to look into your daily flowers and plants that you can find in the park for example that can help with medical issues. The small things for example or what to do when you need water and can't find it. The idea of today's class is mostly just to have fun." Besides you trained your outdoor skill, your stamina and so on while you were hiking. She picked a path that started on their left when they came to a little split in the road and she ushered the three to follow her. It became quite steep quite rapidly and you could see the roots and use some overhanging branches to get higher up, especially if you were not that tall as Nimue. She managed to guide them up top and let them take a moment to take a drink, like she did herself and mostly to enjoy the view. She took out her biology book in case someone was interested to see what plants would grow here and what would be important, but most important part of the journey was now right behind them, this wasn't the complete top of the hill, but it was nicely high already, but between the rocks behind them was a small but big enough opening where they could enter, which was the plan. "So let's take a short break before we enter the cave, anyone afraid of the dark? I did bring two torches, so we can walk in duos." She held up one torch for the other team. When they were ready, she would explain what they would do inside.

“Elise too.” Yumi idly added to the comment of… living liquid. Elise was always a bit of a weird case anyway when she was at the school given how drastic her mutation was. Yumi had never really been clear on if she was a slime girl who took on a human appearance, or if she was a normal person who could transform into a slime girl… probably not something she should think too deeply about, especially if this living water thing they once faced here turned out to be some sorta secret race she spawned from. Didn’t wanna piss off the weird water aliens now. Ehehehe… Still. She could tell Red was joking about the matter so she didn’t let her own thoughts linger on it too long either.
As they walked her eyes shifted from Red himself to Feng who seemed to be separating from the group and turning a bit quiet. Briefly she felt the temptation to nudge Red into talking to her but the whole point of shifting the seats before was so that Red could get a break from her. She'd give him a subtle nudge in the side, drawing his attention to Feng kinda going off into her own world, mouth a 'sorry' and slip out of his hand. As much as she was enjoying the nature walk with him she needed to make sure Feng didn't get left out either, sliding up beside the other Red head with a bright smile.
"Yeah Feng do you-Woah." She took a step back as Red Drew her attention to the glowing eyes, a little caught off guard by it in all honestly. She was kinda used to Feng's quirk just having the side effect of making her the coziest lap pillow in the world but glowing eyes was definitely new. Feng had wandered a few steps into the cave so Yumi just thought to take her wrist and pull her back a bit when Nimue said they'd take a short break before they walked deeper into the cave, Yumi just gesturing to her own eyes as she tried to add a bit of context to the issue here. "Did you... know your eyes go a little glowey in the dark or...?" Had that ever happened before? She could swear she must have caught Feng in the dark at some point surely but... no. Nothin. No memory.

As Feng used her vision once more as she looked around the cave for mushrooms. It was quite the vae as she heard the sound of their footsteps and enjoyed the damp air of the cave as it calmed her heart down a fair bit. As Nimue called for a short break, she took an opportunity to stretch her arms up onto the air. Red and Yumi as they asked her why her eyes were glowing which she never actually knew about.. “Wait….they glowed? Like I thought it was a light shining different from somewhere?”, Feng opened up as she didn't actually realize that they glowed whenever she used her vision.
“I never actually knew about that...I knew I felt something was up whenever my legs were on fire… weird...wait that explains whenever the criminals would get scared whenever they saw me with my legs on fire.”, Feng replied to Yumi as the walk calmed her down a fair bit. “You think this is going to impact any internships that require stealth?”, Feng asked as the newfound discovery of her glowing eyes made her quite embarrassed. Did she always had this and never knew until now? Did she ever look in a mirror to see the light in her eyes or was she that oblivious to it? Or maybe she ignored it up until now as she assumed it was just a trick of the eye? Well big questions for later as she was there to enjoy nature in all of its grandeur.
She sat on a nearby rock and took a breath of fresh air to enjoy the cold air in the cave. “Nature always seems to calm me down whenever I get too stressed...this is a nice change of pace from all the action and whatnot”
