Mlehm, it was a weird thing to do. He sneaked from one garbage can to the other as he followed a shady looking person. Not that Frosch was the best judge of character when it came to shady characters but he knew an animal hurting person when he saw one or maybe it was the smell. He clicked his tongue, moved around the garbage can and ran to the other one on all fours. Yes, he would get him, he would claw at him and he would smack him with a sense of water. A little bottle, not even comparable to that of a human being bottle, kept on smacking to his little left hip as he ran. It was strapped around a belt that he wore and so on. He made it, and he made his initials in it, that he learned from watching Reia learn letters and so on but he was a rather lonely creature without Aoi around and without Reia around. He still did not like his new family and they treated him like a dumb animal while he was allowed to roam free and learn back at the old family.
He almost sighed but he shouldn't, he was on a mission. He peaked around the garbage can and ran a little closer even more, god humans and especially tall ones could walk so quickly. But he could run on four legs and someone would be surprised how fast that would go! He quickly ran forward, screwed the lid of the bottle and let the ribbon of water stream out while he sat on his hind legs, smacking the water againt the shins and heels of the man before him. The man swore, turned around and looked at the critter and swore again while Frosch stared at him angrily and squeaked loudly against anger. He had seen it, he had seen this man hurt cats and dogs and other animals and he would make him feel the anger of animals now.

Officer Batty, reporting for duty! THE BAT-CHILD BOBBLED ALONG down the sidewalk, singing quietly to himself. His voice reverberated off of the walls, giving him a fairly straightforward map of the street. He kept close to the wall, swaying slightly with each step. A strange noise from across the street reached his ears-- a shout of a man, and an agitated series of squeaks. The noise gave the child pause. What was that?
He could see the silhouette of the man as a blip on his radar, but he couldn't see the figure that the man was addressing. The child harumphed to himself and, after looking both ways on the street, began his weird, wobbily walk across the street. He'd cross behind the man, so as not to attract attention.
An oncoming car saw the child crossing the street, all-too-slowly, and blared its horn. The sound pierced the boy's ears and sent him into a blind panic. He broke into a run-- or what would be considered a run, given his short little legs-- to the opposite side of the street. The child tripped over the curb, scrambling onto the sidewalk, his ears ringing painfully from the explosive sound.
Shiloh extended his hands, and thereby his wings, staggering blindly until his knuckles brushed the cool stucco of a building front. Shiloh turned, pressing his back to the wall, and slouched into a sitting position.
He'd have to wait for his ears to stop ringing until he could get a look at the person who the man was addressing. The child gathered his knees to his chest, woefully pulling his ears down with his claws, trying to rub the painful ringing out of them. Why did the driver have to honk?! Couldn't they have just... waited quietly for him to cross the rest of the way?! Rude...

With a smack of his water whip the little otter sort of fought the man but he got quickly kicked away from the large and tall man and he was just mean. He squeaked as he got hit against the wall. He flopped onto the ground and wasn't sure what to do. He had to punish this man but that did not work that easy if he was all alone. He slit his water against the man again as he walked away but he shook his little head and decided to move on. It was time to leave this man's side and he would just stagger to the other side of the alley. There was no use in following, he would smell him again and recognize him when time came. He was a little hurt, it wasn't every day that you got smacked against a wall simply because you were so small. He scuttered out of the alley and rounded the corner, closely staying near the wall because that was the safest for little ones like him and then without looking he bumped into something. Oof he had become a little dizzy with the hit and he should fix that and find a place to hide or quickly go and make his way home.
Making his way home had been the plan until he bumped into something and he looked up. He didn't bump into something, he bumped into someone. It was a bat, but than rather big, with clothes on and Frosch knew there were strange humans out there but was this a strange human or was it a big bat, that was something for sure. "Squeak?" He said to the bat, which should be translated into; who are you, wait why did it look sad? The otter went to sit on his hindlegs and look a little as to see if it had something in its lap or something else and what he should do about it. If he wanted to protect creatures and humans alike, he would have to see what to do now.

Officer Batty, reporting for duty! SHILOH JUMPED SLIGHTLY AT THE SQUEAK and the light touch, making a sound of surprise, scrambling sideways. He wasn’t listening, so he wasn’t paying attention to his surroundings. He couldn’t see anything with the ringing that was still in his ears. With bleary eyes, the child regarded the figure next to him. It was small and dark. A cat?
“You scared me,” the child murmured accusingly, in French. Cats couldn’t talk, so of course he would use the language he was most familiar with. Having chastised the assumed pet, Shiloh went about rubbing his ears woefully. He squinted back out towards the street, sniffling at the injustice of it all.
“Why did he have to honk his horn, huh?” the boy demanded, gesturing towards where the altercation had taken place, “Just beep, beep, move! Instead of waiting? I couldn’t see him, he was driving too fast! And by the time he was close enough to see, I was halfway across!”
Had he known that the otter understood Japanese, he wouldn’t have wasted his breath complaining in French. But alas, he still thought the otter was a cat, and didn’t think it mattered anyways.
“Ah, my ears hurt so bad,” the child whined, rubbing his ears a bit more fiercely. Tears were starting to prick the corner of his eyes.
