Hinata's day has been interesting. He had a pleasant morning of breakfast, anime, and video games before going on his afternoon patrol/jog around Shinjuku. Right now, he was wearing a jogger's outfit of shorts, workout leggings, a shirt, jacket, and running shoes and finally a medical mask so he wouldn't draw any attention to himself. That's was his greatest strength being anonymous enough to go places without drawing any attention to himself as a Pro-hero. Being an unknown in the hero scene has saved his green bacon multiple times. Hmm---green eggs and bacon sound weirdly good right about now.
As Hinata was thinking about a possible breakfast for tomorrow, a hail of bullet shot out of the smoky alley, Hinata let out a sigh and turned his head towards the alley and breathed out a miasma to keep those bastards back. After the miasma settled, Hinata looks at the alley as he heard a series of grumble again, and the waiting game started up again. Hinata let out a sigh and rolled his eyes, where was he was again?
Oh right. Hinata encountered a group of gun-totting madmen selling their wares in the middle of the day in Shinjuku, so him being the honorable pro-hero type, waited for them to go into an alleyway, cornered them and give them their rights which they promptly tried to shoot into his face- with bullets. As an expert of zombie movie will tell you, zombies and bullets don't mix well, like at all. Zombie kills human, guns kill humans, humans with guns kill zombie. It's simple math. So here he was sitting on the street like a loser waiting for back up to arrive and help him deal with these's gun-totting jerks. Hinata or rather Zombie king as the other pro-heroes know him by contacted the pro-heroes Hellhound and Redhorn, big names, dwarfs his name by a lot, to be honest, but that's fine by him. If they are here they will keep him out of the limelight with their massive shadows. Literally in red horn's case.
While Hinata waits for back up he checks his phone for some other important details. Life-changing details as you can say---"Nice, got a 5-star unit---" Or not. Hinata was just playing a loud gacha game on his phone while he waits for back up since honestly with the gunmen securely held back with no escape, the street safely evacuated of any civis, and him breathing in miasma every few minutes to keep the smog, it's fine to fool around. Or he thinks so anyway. Maybe when his follow heroes arrive they might think otherwise.

Mia’s own day hadn’t been the best. She was still waiting on the lab results from Nimue to come through, tell her what the hell had been going on with her quirk lately but… even then for the most part she supposed things would still be okay. Unless a fight was intensely drawn out or just… intense in it’s own right she didn’t have much to worry about, and most thugs on the street were easy enough to take down just by lookin’ at ‘em the right way when she showed up on the scene.
Still, didn’t mean she didn’t still have work to do, and now some odd side effect of her quirk to micro-manage… speaking of which. Seemed duty was calling. A message on the pro-hero chat from the new ‘Zombie King’ on the scene left Mia with a bullet storm to potentially deal with. She’d meant to joke that she was bullet proof but hey with this new ‘red’ thing she had maybe that was actually true now. She’d slip her phone back into her more secure pocket and make her way to the scene, bounding off rooftops as she crossed the city to try and make her way to the scene of the crime. Once she knew hellhound was gonna be on the scene, she made sure to tap into the fellow heroine’s frequency too.
“Heeeey Hellhound! You on your way yeah? How’s the city been looking for you?~” She spoke with a bit of a jovial tone, like she was just trying to hold a bit of a jokey conversation between the two of them even as she leapt over an entire double-lane street and began charging over the next rooftop before leaping across the next. Before long, able to take the shortcut of ‘as the crow flies’, Mia wound up on the scene, skidding across a nearby rooftop to linger over an alleyway filled with smog and the sound of gunshots ringing out. Luckily the gunfire itself seemed to drown out her arrival, and she could get an aerial view of the scene. She got too close and they’d probably notice her, so for now she lingered over the source of the smog, the green skinned zombie king himself.
She’d pull out her phone, checking the frequency listed for Zombie king’s own headset earpiece (if he had one) or just straight up dialing his phone if he didn’t. Either way, once she got in contact with him, she’d give a cheeky- “Hey. Up above.” Casually waving down as she kneeled down on her perch on the rooftop. “So. Guys with guns. We got anything more to go on here?”

The day so far has been eventful as of late. Decrease in criminal activity means she can take a breather for a change and take her time doing her job. The hounds got a new hire and they asked her to oversee him to see if he's a good fit for the place. As to why they need her there despite no longer being part of the team is something she will never understand. But she will stop by to at least check them out. Anything that isn't work or hearing the ever so constant bitching about how she does her job and what not. Least it pays the bills and that is something that she keeps in mind as she walks about the city. Making visits to all the areas to see how they're holding up and if there was any trouble as of late. Most of them were fine aside from a few instances of burglary which were taken care of by the police.
“Finally I can catch a break for once…”, Freya says to herself as she stretches her arms into the air. She wonders what to have for lunch and quickly decided on some meat skewers and some soda to recharge her batteries. Making her way down the various alleyways and greeting the usual denizens, she found her favorite shop and promptly ordered her favorite menu item. Taking the time to eat for a bit and enjoy her drink, she wonders what will happen next in this town.
She takes out her phone to see what was going on and one of the new pros on the scene seems to be caught up in some trouble. ‘Zombie King’ was the new hero in question and his location was somewhat near where she was. Luckily for both him and her, she was done with her lunch by this point and she promptly left her tip and cleaned up before heading to the scene. Trouble was afoot and she needed to get there asap ‘Knew this was going to happen sooner or later’, she says to herself as she activates her quirk and speeds her way to the action. Flying has its benefits as she doesnt have to worry about bumping into a bunch of civvies while booking it.
Her comms were going off like crazy and then a familiar voice chimed in. It was Redhorn and it was a voice she always welcomed. “Been treating me fine, it's no night with you but it's as good as it can get. I''' rendezvous with you when I'm near”, she responds as she makes her next turn. She finds Redhorn on the rooftop nearby and she takes the opportunity to land next to her. The smell of gun smoke and powder was fresh and it was something she enjoyed. She’d look down to see the green skinned Zombie King down below.
“Any idea on what you did to piss em off? This amount of gunfire is enough to think this was a turf war”, she’d say on the radio as she cracks her knuckles.

"Shoot, only got a 2-star---I didn't even know they did those anymore---" Hinata groaned as his game took his precious [redacted in-game currency] before Hinata could start to pull out his heroic credit card, a voice rang out in his earpiece. Hinata blinks once, before craning his head up and he saw the pro-hero Redhorn looking down at him waving her hand, Hinata responds with a flick of his wrist for a wave and a one-word response of, "Yo" Hinata said as he flicked his phone off and put it into his pocket. [making sure he didn't accidentally use his heroic credit card] "Yep, guns, a lot of them." Hinata said plainly, "Normies otherwise, from what I can tell."
Hinata recounted what previously happens it was odd how quickly they knew he was there---Hinata's dark eyes widen for a moment and he quickly pulled out his phone and started to text the two other heroes as they arrive, "Hey guys, keep up the quips, I think one of them has enhanced hearing," Hinata finished. As that text went through, a second voice sounded off in the earpiece, Hellhound. Hinata tilts his head to the side to look at hellhound and gave her a shrug, "My ugly mug was worth shooting, a lot, I guess," Hinata said plainly as he opened messages again, and texted, "Best you held your breath hellhound in a moment, no need to go all out, catch their attention and I can deal with them." Hinata finished as he stood up as quietly as he could.
"This is fun, getting to let Hellhound and Redhorn deal with them all while I get to check my Chirpr" As Hinata said as he opened his Chirpr app and @'d the nearby police officer telling him to pull the police wagon soon since this will end in a couple of minutes. With that Hinata gave the two older pros' a thumbs up.

(Sorry for the wait guys, works been swamped due to the pandemic, didn’t mean to make this wait so long)
As She travelled from point A to point B, and heard Hellhound chime back into her ear comparing whatever was going down to a night with her, she couldn’t help but let out a raucous bit of laughter that nearly had her lose her footing. “Oi there careful! You never know who’s on these channels. Don’t want the WORLD knowing I can show a gal like you the night of her life!~” She chimed back with a wide grin, chuckling a little under her breath before she got moving again.
Back on the scene, Mia scoffed a little as she noticed the guy was basically playing one of those mobile apps from the bright colors she could see going off on his phone, shaking her head in disbelief and already of the mentality that she was REALLY gonna like this guy if this was the sort of energy he was giving out, offering a warm smile down towards him even as it likely became clear to him in turn that she could see what he’d been doing while he was waiting for help.
“Normies huh? Well I should-“ She felt a buzz in her pocket, glancing back down to Zombie king with a narrow gaze before finally checking her phone and getting the message. Ooooh. Made sense. Guy was lax AND clever. Usually a pretty cool combination in Mia’s book. She typed back as quick as her meaty mitts typically allowed. ‘No worries. Freya I’ll drop in. Back me up with them flames of yours hot stuff.~’ She teased back, shooting the woman a grin before rising up and stepping to the edge of her rooftop, cracking her neck side to side.
“Ya know it’s an old quote but…*Maximum effort!~*”
With that she simply stepped off the roof, dropping down into the alleyway below. The hefty woman was clearly more muscle than flesh as she seemed to impact the paving like a brick, a hefty boom echoing through the narrow passage, and the beast of an Oni slowly rising through the foggy miasma. Her arrival silenced the bullets for a moment, as the goons toting guns were suddenly treated to the rising silhouette of arguably one of the most imposing heroes on the roster. Both visually, and in terms of her reputation.
The Demon of Dallas, the Texan Terror, the rampaging Oni.
Red Horn.
As she rose to her full height, she took in a long, deeeeeep breath. The thick miasma visibly flowing into her nostrils. The veins in her neck bulging and pushing back against her throat as she felt her body tackle the toxins in the air. She could feel what they were going for. Meant to weaken her, make her lethargic, make her weak…
But she let out a satisfied sigh as she took a deep breath of this toxic substance.
“Aaaaah…~ Tasty…~” She chimed, grinning wide as she bared herself low. She looked like she was about to charge but she was no fool, rapidly crossing her arms over her face and crouching down a little to cover herself from the sudden onslaught of bullet fire. About half of them embedding in her skin while the other 50 % just pinged off her rough hide, and even those that penetrated her skin didn’t get far, most of them blocking off their own wounds and preventing her from easily bleeding out.
“HELLHOUND! You got your opening if ya want it!”

Freya chuckled a bit as Redhorn gave her reply over comms. “I don't mind that, it’d give the wannabes a run for their money if they can be half as good as-”, she responded before cutting herself off met up with her.
Looking at the scene from on high, it was absolute chaos and one of them found it an opportune moment to play on their phone whilst in the action. She is reminded of the Hounds as she looks on with a look of utter amusement. Though she’d hold back a sigh as she scanned the field for more targets. Taking her sweet time as Redhorn did the same as they looked down at Zombie King, giving a little salute before jumping in.
“Not the first time you took the initiative, but you bet your sweet ass I’ll do that!”, she replied back as she looked at her. Freya of course cracked her knuckles as she Redhorn got ready, the fun was going to come in and….! CRASH
It was all she could hear as she saw her ass go into the heat of battle. The fun was beginning as she felt the pause in gunfire as she rose from the miasma like the demon of yore. Awe inspiring to say the least as she breathed in the poisonous fog as if it was flavored air. Of course the gunfire resumed as they all took aim at her. The moment the window of opportunity was available, Freya's face had the widest grin as she knew it was showtime.
“I’m bringing and BOOM!”
She backed up a bit before her quirk activated as her body lit up aflame. Cape of fire, her hands and feet burning, a familiar sight as she went for a running start and leaped off the roof before blasting herself in like a comet. Going for the main group that was taking aim at her friend, she landed in the midst of the firing squad. A massive wave of debris flew about as she stood in the middle of them in her most relaxed state, with only her quirk illuminating her figure in an orange flame.
The Hellfire Hunter of Vegas, Leader to the The Hounds, the Burning Dog of War.
Hellhound.
She looked around as the many thugs around her were staring in shock and awe as she stood there in complete silence. Glancing to Red Horn and Zombie King for a moment, “Well then...LET'S DANCE!”, yelling out as she used her flames to jet herself towards the nearest goon next to her and give him a good left hook to the face. The place then erupted again with the sounds of yelling and gunfire as it resumed as she zoomed from baddie to baddie, dodging gunfire. But a few did graze her and left some damage on her suit. Freya was dealing with more heavily members of the squad as she found the ones who were shooting at her.
“Oi, Zombie King! You want a piece of this pie or nah ?!”

Hinata waited there, listening to Hellhound and Redhorn's quip back and forth, and it honestly sounds more like flirting than anything else, but thankfully it a good distraction when the two went off on the gunmen. Hinata waited for a second, and he walked through the haze of smoke and miasma. And he stepped out of the other side as Hellhound asked if wanted a piece of this pie.
The zombie of Shinjuku, the living biohazard, the scourge of underground gangs.
Zombie King.
"They say the last bite is the best one." Hinata said as black miasma started spilling out of mouth onto the ground. Good, this was enough space to take out the rest in one fell swoop. Before the shooters could get a response in, Hinata spewed out his sickening smog to cover the entire alleyway.
Hopefully, Hellhound jumped out of the way of his smog as moments of getting enveloped in it the gunmen started to cough and hack, panicking, as they tried to keep their eyes open, but when they realized it stung too much to keep them open and they knew if they opened fire, they would shoot each other. Perfect, Hinata has them under his thumb. He can get his info out of them. Time to play his favorite game, mister bad zombie, this was always so much fun.
"Okay guys, I think it's over we had our fun, we should get the morgue ready to pick up these guys, I don't think I have enough antidotes to cure them all, maybe just enough for one. " Hinata said in a grim voice as he circled the gunmen as a few of them tried to take potshots at him, but due to his advantage of sight and them panicking they shot where he was and not where he's going until all that was left was clicks of the empty gun barrels.
While walking around and being shot at Hinata noticed that one of the men always flinched when a gun went off, the quirker, he was right, thank god. With a quirk as useful as his, he could be the leader, of this gang, he needs confirmation on this, so Hinata pulled out his phone, and then said, "If you all could tell me who's the boss here I can make a call, and I could give antidotes to you all, otherwise, well... have you all heard of the Ebola virus?" Hinata started as he let out a quick whistle, "Boy it's not pretty, shitting yourself everywhere, high fevers to the point that hellhounds flames feel like a summer breeze, and oh yeah, bleeding from every orifice until you die, so to make this much easier show us your leader," Hinata smiled impishly as the gang pointed at the general direction of the quirked man.
Hinata cheerfully smiles and with a chuckle said, "Thank you, boys, I can tell you the cure .... when we get to the station!" Hinata said as he pulled out his handcuffs and handcuffed the coughing quirked man. And dragged him up to his feet and walked the man towards Redhorn and he smiled up at her, and said, "when you can't punch a hole in metal walls, you have to be creative in how you deal with villains," Hinata said as the sounds of police sirens and red and blue lights shone in the miasma indicting that the police have arrived.
Hinata was so lucky that Hellhound and Redhorn were here, he couldn't have dealt with this gang alone, and thanks to their scare tactics and getting the gang all worked up and panicked as they did mean his miasma took effect much faster than normal, especially with Hellhound's fire aggravating the symptoms even more than normal. If Hellhound or Redhorn knew anything about his quirk it isn't deadly, or normally that effective, he was just lucky for a multitude of reasons. And he is thankful for each one.

With the gas rolling in further Mia was starting to feel a bit of the burn in her system along with the bullets penetrating her outer layers of flesh, backing up and flexing hard, the bullets popping out of her as the muscles pushed back against them hard, soft clinks as they landed on the floor and she let Zombie king take the stage. This was his call in afterall, so even if she was the more experienced hero she wasn’t gonna take the stage, or the control away from him, offering him a light smirk as he seemed to walk through the loose bullet fire with some confidence, Mia backing up to a safe distance with Hellhound and giving her a light offer of a high five for her good work here.
Still though, as she stood back and watched Zombie King work… a light muttering of ‘jesus’ left her lips as she heard what he was saying. She knew he wouldn’t be a hero if any of what he was saying was true so he was clearly just trying to fuck with the guys, but the level he took it to just… wow. From how laid back he looked she had not been expecting that. She was more impressed than she was disturbed or grossed out, it was just a new take and an angle she’d never ran with before… or heck. Maybe she had. Her memory of threatening criminals with a bloody beating was no different really. It just didn’t come roll off the tongue the same way either…
At the end of the day though, he managed to get the job done and Mia couldn’t argue with results, not with her view of their work as heros. She offered him a wide grin as he turned back to them. “Yeah, but honestly you do pretty well with that noxious gas crap. I started to actually feel that shit…” She rolled back her arm, the veins bulging in her neck starting to relax, but her skin definitely a little more pale as she’d felt the effects of the gas a little personally, coughing up a thick breath of smog as her system tried to purge itself, turning her ear to the incoming police sirens.
“Hey… you’re call in. Pretty sure you get the glory on this one. Unless Hellhound here wants a slice of that pie I mean.~”

After Freya said her piece and Zombie King was doing his work, she took the chance to throw one gunman into another and then get out of the way of his gas as it rolled in. Just barely outside its range she’d watch the gas do its work. Though watching it go down and seeing a bunch of them shoot each other does strike some concern, more a live reenactment of a dark comedy than anything else. But then she looked to Redhorn as she offered a high five, which she promptly did as it was some damn good work. Kicking ass and taking names is always fun with the buddies as she always says.
But back to the situation at hand, Freya watched Zombie King do his work and she couldn't help but snicker a bit. Enough time on the force knows a good cop, bad cop deal when she spots one. He was either trying a bit too hard to sound threatening or he actually meant it, but either way it was working wonders on bringing down the morale of the thugs. Some of them were freaking out of course the more he spoke, the weaker ones always tend to crack first. Freya wasn’t too worried about them in part because they are pro heroes and if this sort of thing had their lives at risk, the higher ups aint gonna be happy. She isn't one to talk since she has more of a bad reputation for being the mad dog hero at times with how feral she can be. But results are results nonetheless.
Of course he brought them in and all would be well, enough so that Freya landed gently on the ground next to Redhorn. The sound of police sirens blaring in the distance as Zombie King walked up to the two. “I should take a few notes then, the hounds and I are gonna love using this tactic..though I cant handle gas as good as Big Redhorn next to me.” She responded with a grin on her face as she heard coughing from next to her. Of course, a part of her doesn't want to ask about the whole gas deal as the sirens were coming and she doesn't want to take the glory for green man's work.
“I’d love a slice of pie right now, thank you Redhorn”, she said as she patted her on the back. With a light chuckle, but then her eyes turn to Zombie King. “Jokes aside, you take the call. You did most of the work and between all three of us, the police aint a fan of me considering my work with SAT.”

Hinata knew he was by far one of the weakest Pro-heroes for raw damage, especially compared to these two in front of him. So he had to be smarter and scarier, which is quite a combination to have. Hinata uses every resource he has to him, which intimidation and fear is his bread and butter. Hinata isn't that popular for a reason he kept to himself for a long time. But it was weirdly exciting to work with others, he never really did it before, at least like this.
Hinata frankly wasn't used to praise like the two women were giving him right now, it was just his duty, what he has always done, but he wouldn't voice that since it'd be rude not to accept it. So Hinata said, "Thanks, then I'm doing my job well," Hinata says with a slight toothy grin, trying his best to keep his blush down. When Hellhound brought up the fact she's going to use his tactics with her men, Hinata reacted by scratching the back of his neck, and replying with, "Heh, it's a pretty easy tactic if you're scary enough, intimidation is a great way to get people speaking, and that's my specialty," Hinata said as he got ready to hand the criminal over.
But the two decided to put him on calling duty, which Hinata always dreaded, he's good at intimidation, small talk is out of his area of expertise. But they seem quite adamant about him getting the glory for this, which isn't entirely unfair since he did do most of the work and got the ring leader for this group. So Hinata nodded his head and said, "Normally not this pie kind of guy, but sure, I take a bite." Hinata said as he started pulling up his medical mask to cover his ugly mug as he started walking through the last remnant of his miasma into the police lights and cameras on the other side. This should be fun, at the very least.
