Midnight Visit (Nimue)

With no plans and no discussions it was not known by Nimue when Giovanni would return to Japan, had she known she might have stayed up, tried to get to the airport anything really. But with a busy week and still terrible flashbacks to her research had made her want to sleep on time. It still did not go all that well to sleep and be relaxed but she got there. She just wasn't sure what she thought of it, she should be happy and yet she wasn't entirely. Maybe Mori was right and she wasn't made for this, which made her all the more sure that she wasn't made for anything, not fo pro hero work but also not a doctor, so she stayed with what she knew and even though not made for it still liked the most. Sleeping in a simple t-shirt and shorts with the rosary he had given her earlier and the envelope at the corner of her desk that was also in her bedroom, Giovanni could see in one view that she obviously missed him. She wanted to talk to him, she wanted to be honest and most of all she wanted to be protected. It just did not feel right with her at all how her life was going but every time something seemed to stop her or block her from saying the words she wanted to say.

She frowned in her sleep, making a soft whiny sound as she felt for a second the soft and yet pushing pressure on her lips. Opening her eyes made her have to readjust to the darkness, someone was in her bed. However, there wasn't an immediate alarm going off, as if in her sleep she had recognized the person who kissed her already,

"Giovanni?"

Was she dreaming? Were the nightmares of the disastrous part changed into the man she missed? The man she wished was there to hold her? Was it real? She wasn't sure what to say or think about it, to believe it or not, did he really kiss her or was it a fracture of her mind that made her believe it was there. Breaking the kiss to ask his name, he replied and she extended her left hand, the one she didn't use for support to touch his cheek. To make sure he was no illustration, no imaginary thought. She stroked his cheek with her thumb and smiled too, she knew he was smiling. He took a bit of a distance between them and her hand simply returned to herself. Still too sleepy to believe if he was real or not. He kissed her again and she felt this warm feeling wash over her, he could not, not be here, right? She made a soft approving sound when he kissed her. "I missed you." She whispered before she kissed him softly again.

She blushed a little, maybe still not used to being called my love or my dear or anything else cute and cosy that he used. She giggled a little, "Tired." She said as she had not even gone and sit upright yet. "How was your flight?" She closed her eyes when he stroked her hair and she finally got up, "You must be exhausted?" Before he answered either of her questions she felt his lips on hers again and she pulled him closer, on her bed, in her arms, she had missed this man. Which was ridiculous, she had been alone before, she had never really missed Oz like this before. It had ached her, she had wanted to talk to him so much and he wasn't there and with the timezones, their text had missed a lot of time and quick reaction but now he was here. He was back with her. He came to her first. It made her heart jump and beat quite fast when she thought of it, she would soon be able to nuzzle back in his arms.

Maybe she would be more embarrassed if Giovanni had not said he loved her before. If he would not be that approving, rewarding and calm and nice to her as before. She had been made into another woman because of his love. She was still shy, she was still unsure but she was sure about him, about wanting to be in his future, he had mentioned it from time to time and she did not dare yet to believe that it was a possibility. She did not want to think about it now but she kissed him to make him happy, to make her happy, and his hand on her hair felt magnificent. It made her feel protected, it made her feel like she could do anything. She giggled a little when she kissed him, happy to be together, which is why she pulled him closer. The hug was all that she wanted for now and nuzzled in his arms.

She would scoot herself a little to the side to give him space. Her eyes fully adapted to the dark now, where was Kuro? He might have gone out already, hm. It was okay, he would come back and she went to curl up with her head on her pillow, her eyes staring at him and waiting patiently. "Does this mean you will stay here?" She whispered either afraid for the potential no but also excited if he would say yes. Tonight would be so much better if he would be here and she would be safe from her nightmares, safe from her bad thoughts as he was there to think about, to occupy her mind and make her heart race because he was here. That's why she couldn't keep her eyes of him, he was hers and she was his. Could it be more romantic in her life?

She smiled and closed her eyes shortly, even though she did not want to be tired, waking up in the middle of the night like this had that effect. She opened her eyes quickly when she felt his hands on her and pulling her closer to him and she giggled again, she hid her face in the crook of his neck, kissing him softly as she nuzzled close in his arms. "I really missed you." She said softly yet audible to hear and she kissed him softly again on his jaw this time. She looked up but noticed his eyes were closed and she climbed upon him, to put her head on his chest and listen to the rhythm of his heartbeat. "Tell me about England, was it fun?" Did he think as much about her as she did about him? She kissed him too, moving a little up to be able to kiss him more passionately.

"Tell me bits before you sleep, I want to know all you did." To make it more normal that she was working and scared and not wanting to think about all that happened, oh how much she had missed him, it was ridiculous. She nuzzled again closer when they stopped kissing, kissing his cheeks though, his forehead, his nose, his lips, before she would lie down again, head on his chest, listening again.

She snuggled a little closer when he seemed tired and yet called her darling, she did not want to bother him. But for some reason she felt a little bit more like wide awake. He was here, he was here for real so she should enjoy that. Besides he woke her up so it was his own fault. So she cuddled him some more before asking how England was. She blushed a little when he said something about the festival. Oh shit. No, she couldn't say it now, it was late, he was sleepy that wouldn't be fair. She made circles on his chest with her right index finger while laying with her chin on her left arm to not hurt him.

She felt bad for him that he kept falling asleep and yet she tried to keep him awake. "What did you think of the hero school?" She asked him softly, she was not sure if she wanted him to hear it or not if she wanted him to stay awake and talk to her. She was afraid of his answer, of everything but she also was so curious to it. She would ask him about the quirks tomorrow or maybe she would pretend she forgot it because she knew it all and she wouldn't want to play stupid with him. She would tell him, she should tell him very soon. She wanted to tell him all that she had done while he was gone but she could not get it past her lips.

She continued to draw little circles on his chest while laying there and looking at him. The fact he was back here and in her arms made her the happiest. She did not know how to feel but it was something of a euphoric feeling and that she could touch him and look at him. His cute face while he fell asleep and she hated herself for her curiosity. She could ask him later and she snickered a little but did not correct him in the name. She did not think too much about it and watched him, she decided she would not ask any more, brushing his hair away from his face as she did before and she smiled at him. Really cute.

She looked up surprised when he said UA again but he did not really continue in an audible way for her to listen and she snickered softly. She had no idea what he said and she lifted herself up. Put her hand next to his shoulder and leaned forward and kissed his forehead, "Welcome home." She whispered and lifted herself away from him to pull his hand around her and on her hip as she snuggled close to her sleepy boyfriend and put her head again on his chest to listen to his peaceful heartbeat when he fell asleep for real. She closed her eyes and surprisingly fell asleep quicker than she would have realized or thought.
