She stared at him with blinking her eyes a few times. Why was he walking so funny? That's when the first year support student realized her mistake and she frowned, "Ah sensei, I am so sorry." But she wasn't sure if she could pull the shackles without hurting blank, so she let it be. She should go work on this with a smarter crew in the future, her brain wasn't the smartest part as of yet. Still trying to keep her eyes on the chaos, she looked from time to time to the slow moving teacher and tried to be encouraging, this wasn't how she planned to do it and she had to manage to be a little smarter next time for sure, she shook her head and turned her attention quickly away before quicky turning back as her ears picked up that Blank-sensei was talking to her. "Eh, I don't think so?" She said honestly because that is at least a trait that Honey did posses as well. She nodded and apologized again and made a small bow only to get up quickly again and catch Blank. How to catch him, she thought panicking but she caught a sword and looked at it. Oh... Interesting, ehm, well that made her able to fight a little better. "I will hold you up with my tail, sensei." Wait was it the intention to use the sword? She would have to protect Blank, that meant she had to get out of here! Okay, sword use it is because incoming scary stuff!
She squeaked loud enough probably for everyone to hear when Yaya-kun did a very impressive, scary impression and she held the sword with a little bit of a shake, still in her hands. "I am armed, I-I am not s-scared of you!" She looked for Kumoko and Karen, should she try to run off, but they were both engaged in a fight, so could they back her up so she could go away. She jumped up, held with her left hand on to the stairs as those things came from the ground. She sprinted up as fast as she could at the stairs when hands appear and slashed with her free right hand at those if they would grab her. Yasashi was much to tall for her to fight if she did not climb up, how fast could he climb the stairs aye? She would have to hurry and get to the platform, get to the deck because in the dark this was much too scary. She squeaked another sorry to her teacher when she slashed the sword at the boney arms. She quickly switched it to her tail so she could climb up even faster, having full control over what her tail did and how it moved came in damn handy now. All she could think of was: sayonara to this room. How bad would it be to leave her team, but unbeknown to anyone else: Honey was crying, her face facing the stairs, she was really scared but would try to do her best and show off that she could become a hero.

Okay, so first the good news. The smoke bombs actually did something! Even if for only a second or a few, any bit of time to assist her teammates was time Kumoko very much appreciated getting. And getting some of Karen's shield via the thread from earlier was very sweet too. It would no doubt come in handy. Kumoko would do her best to put this aura to good use, even if she had absolutely no idea how long it would even last.
And now, the bad news. Kumoko had not expected... that from Yasashi. Such a bone-chilling howl! It was like something straight out of a nightmare or horror movie. EEP! What is that? Kumoko could not help but shiver in fear. And the worst part? Not the howl itself. No, the absolute worst part was that Kumoko had heard the warning. She knew that something would happen, and that she should cover her ears. The problem? Kumoko had no ears! Just like a spider, Kumoko's spider legs had various special hairs that picked up sound vibrations. That was how the girl's hearing functioned. So unlike most everyone else who could simply just cover their ears with their hands, Kumoko had no such way to do that. There was no way for her to cover all eight of her spider legs in such a short amount of time. The poor girl had no defense against that nightmarish howl.
Even worse, the howl proved effective enough for Yasashi to completely pass Kumoko! Dang it! The spider girl frowned. She was hoping to make Honey's job easier, and now she just failed to do that. And because that was not bad enough on its own, now the spider girl found herself being attacked! Now she could no longer help her teammates. All she could do now was have faith in Honey being able to hold her own and protect Blank-sensei while also fighting Yasashi at the same time. And also have faith that Karen would be able to deal with her opponent without needing any assistance.
Meanwhile, Kumoko would then focus on her own opponent. She had met Berker not that long ago, and he seemed like a really nice guy. The spider girl looked forward to seeing just what he could do. After just barely avoiding the attack, Kumoko smiled cheerfully at him. "Berker-san! Hiii! I'm pretty excited to get to fight you! Er, I mean..." Oh right, he was supposed to be the 'villain' here. Not too many heroes would have a pleasant conversation with a villain. As much as Kumoko did not want to, it was probably best to stick to character. If anything, it would be funny to talk about after this was all said and done. "Villain! You shall not pass! I won't allow myself to be defeated here! Not by the likes of you!"
Okay, there were several things to take note of. First, even with some of Karen's aura, Kumoko had no intention of trying to fight Berker up close. She had no faith in her abilities when it came to fighting up close, preferring to fight with her slingshot. Plus, she did not know just how hard Berker could hit, and Kumoko would rather not find out the hard way if possible. Second, even while crippled thanks to Yasashi, Kumoko was still agile, even if it was not as much as usual. That combined with her speed meant that for now, she could reasonably expect to dodge an attack or two. Though of course, the girl could not do so indefinitely. And third, the spider girl still had a few gadgets left, which she fully intended to use against her opponent.
So first, the spider girl would back up a bit to give herself some room to work with. Next, while holding the slingshot in her mouth, she took out the capsule containing the net. After that, she would keep an eye on Berker. Regardless of whether he chose to come after her or keep an eye on her from afar, Kumoko would throw the capsule his way, where it would expand and unleash the net, hopefully either capturing him or getting him to move out of the way. If he did manage to dodge, then Kumoko would quickly try to use her slingshot, attempting to predict where he would move before firing twice at him. Or if Berker did get ensnared by the net, then Kumoko would take the opportunity to fire at him while he dealt with the net.
Of course, the net was a very basic one. So even if he did get caught inside, it would not be too difficult for Berker to break free. Naturally, Kumoko needed to prepare for the possibility. So she was ready to defend herself should Berker prove to be too tough to ensnare.
I'm ready for you! Whatever you decide to throw at me, I'll do my best to take it!

Woops, attacking from above was a problem for this very reason. They could just simple side step it. Yet Berker still couldn't stop himself from trying it. It looked cool, and it hit hard. While he was taking his guard he saw a thump! sound, turning his head he saw teacher kissing the floor. "Pfftt..." he couldn't hold his laughter. "Nice nice..." After saying that he turned to Kumoko, he could not focus on other things any more so all of his attention was on her. As he get his guard ready he heard Kumoko's greeting. "Hi hi, don't forget about our date after the finale" Berker smiled. He knew she didn't thought it as a date, yet he still wanted to say it out loud in a way people could hear. After all psychological warfare were big part in fights and wars. He was thinking Kumoko would at least get frustrated or shy after his remark. After their little exchange, a second later Kumoko was in role with her hero team. It was... bad and cheesy. But he couldn't bring himself to say it loud. "Sorry but today the victory will belong to villains. Don't get mad at me for that." Berker smiled as he watched Kumoko take a step back. He knew Kumoko shall not be left alone. He didn't wanted to get caught in one of her spider webs. For that reason without giving her a chance Berker started chasing her. But just as he started he saw Kumoko throwing something on him. "Here we go again..." was his thoughts. He hated this kind of things. People using tricks while fighting... It was annoying to deal with, all he wanted to beat his opponent and move on. Why do they had to make it hard for him? At this point Berker was totally observed in his fight.
When the capsule get close it opened up and net came out. Berker would try to sweep the net coming his way by using moving his staff up to down. If he can get net to the ground without getting caught in it he'll go after Kumoko, trying to take whatever she's throwing at him head on, aiming to attack his stomach.
---If he get caught in net instead of putting it away---
Berker will try to get rid of the net as soon as possible. If he can, he'll get his guard up for whatever Kumoko planning next instead of attacking. After all it'd give her enough time to get ready for her next move while Berker was struggling with the net.

Yasashi felt his heart twist in his chest, it was like something had stabbed him, deeply. The look in Honey's eyes shook him to his core. He chewed on his lip behind his helmet, forcing himself to take another step forward. His body felt like it was weighed down by hundreds of pounds of nothing. She cried out; holding the sword at him before declaring that she wasn't scared. He took a deep breath and raised his head up so that he looked down on her, his sad expression lost beneath the bone-metal helm. Blue eyes blazed with a cruel fire as he rumbled a laugh; "Then stand and fight, little hero," He said. She began to slash at the skeletal hands that were leaping out at her, she was still within range, he felt his heart pang as she turned and ran. She had to get away from him, it made sense.
But.
He couldn't let her get away. He took a deep breath and centered himself, skeletal dogs were one thing. Skeletal arms were another. But what came from the ground, the walls, and the ceiling was not something that one could comprehend with a moments thought. It was too much. Skeletons, human skeletons, pulled themselves from the walls, the stairs in front of him, the floor between his fighting classmates, the door. Twelve of them in all. Eight of them moved to form a semicircle at the base of the stairs behind him, their glowing blue eyes watching any who might approach. They didn't have any complicated combat skills but they knew a few forms that they could react to an approacher with. Two accompanied him up the stairs while the other two crawled out of the stairs just at Honey's heels.
He started to march, his mouth set in a thin line even as he felt something warm and wet on his cheek. He choked out a quiet 'I'm sorry' as he stormed up the steps, his mind focused on that sword clasped in her tail. The bone hands receded from their pursuit. He glanced to his left to check on the others. It was now or never. He either took the hostage or he didn't. His longer strides took him up the steps, his hand outstretched, even as his bones began to ache from using his quirk. He was almost on empty. Only a few moments at full power left before he ran out of steam. His skeletons would mostly disappear as soon as they arrived.
He reached her and loomed, his voice cracking a little, "Honey, just hand him over," He pleaded, his armored hand waiting.

For the most part, with their respective match-ups decided, that meant things were a little less chaotic and it was easier to focus on one thing. As harsh as it may sound, even if the boys managed to take the rescue target off their hands, said boys had to make it out of the room somehow too. In that case taking one or two of them out here increased her own team's chances of success in that event. Their foreigner friend wasn't going to have an easy time with this. She was out for blood. Well not literally, but the gloves were off. The boy with the cannon was as predicted not as nimble on his feet as Karen was as she was able to score the knockdown fairly easily. What he was good at though was thinking on the fly. Using the cannon blast both as a deterrent and to reposition himself, Karen found that disarming him wasn't going to be that simple. And then the weapon was turned to her directly. This was what helped bust through the door earlier so she was certain a direct hit wasn't going to be safe to take so she put all her effort into avoiding the shot to her head. It grazed past her ear as she quickly shifted to the side while rushing forward to again attempt to disarm the boy on the ground. What she couldn't avoid was the follow-up shot to her leg which caused her to wince in pain. She was bound to get hit eventually with all that moving around she had been doing so far. She wasn't in her best condition either. However instead of getting knocked down or losing her balance, Karen simply continued forward with her motions. She didn't need a leg to stand on to fly so this didn't exactly slow her down or stop her from moving. In fact she would use the force of the cannon hitting her leg to spin in midair and take advantage of the momentum to bear down on Liam with a spinning heel drop. There was no room to make mistakes here so she aimed dead center to just smash him to the floor with the intention to take him out. She probably only had one spurt of speed left at full power and she wanted to save that if she could as she was getting winded as well.

Blank was relieved when Honey went-along with his idea—for it meant that he would not have to waddle his way up the stairs in shackles. No sooner did the youth agree that Blank using his quirk would be against the rules, did Blank take the form of a sword. Of course, as a sword, Blank could not emote—but if he could, he would have frowned in disbelief as the girl proposed carrying him in her tail, of all places. “Take heart, Hirano!” Blank insisted, feeling the tremble in her hands, “Up the stairs! Up, up! You must go to the top deck! To finish the match!”Whoever emerged on the top-deck with “the Captain” in their care would be the victors of the match. But if the girl remained petrified on the stairs, the match could not progress. Thankfully, the girl seemed to hear—or at least, react to—her teacher’s prompting. Or at least get the idea on her own. She swung the blade, once. And then began her retreat. Blank, all the while, watched her back from the blade that he currently took the form of. They made it out of the cavernous room where the battle had ensued, leaving behind Kumoko, Berker, Karen, and Liam. Yasashi, however, was still hot on their trail. As Honey bolted, Blank stole glimpses at their pursuer—he was definitely losing his steam, and there were tears welling out of his eyes. Blank would have grimaced, if he’d had a face at the moment. You couldn’t ask heroic hopefuls to play the parts of villains—they were big-hearted. Even if these kids were the futures of hero society, they were still just… kids. Ahead, the rectangular opening of the top-deck cast the area below-deck in a harsh sheet of sunlight. The flame-retardant that had previously rained from above now eddied around knee-height along the floor, and the area seemed… quiet. Perhaps the traps had been disabled in favor of allowing the students to duke it out? To say that the path from where Honey stood to the exit would remain unhindered would, however, prove foolishly optimistic. Skeletons sprung out of the walls ahead of them, on the final ramp that swept towards the main deck. They crowded the squirrel’s path, and brought her to a grinding halt. When God had made the Taka kid, he hadn’t put the “quit” in him. “You can do it, Hirano!” Blank cheered again, his voice resonating from the sword. It didn’t take a neuroscientist to anticipate the girl’s reaction, “Charge through, cut them down, to the top deck! You’re so close.”The sooner she pushed ahead, the sooner the small, squirrel-child would be spared from the nightmare around her. “Go, Hirano, go!”Was it favoritism to cheer for her? Nah, she was the “hero” right now. He’d cheer for the boys, too, if they managed to snatch him. … Meanwhile, back in ballast tank, Liam was struggling—if he’d had the time to grasp for another energy drink, to recharge himself and blast another shot at Karen, he would have—but even when she was worn-out, he could not keep-up with her. His counter became a counter of its own. Even as Liam tried to block the spinning-heel drop, he was a moment too slow. Karen’s heel connected with his solar plexus, knocking the wind out of the teen and throwing his back against the metal floor once again. Liam saw stars. Stars? In this big metal tin? Not possible. Then teen inhaled, his breath rattling in his chest. As his lungs tried to refill themselves, he rolled onto his forearms, coughing forcefully. Fuck, these U.A. kids were savage. Hopefully Karen wouldn’t take a swing at him while he was down. Liam wheezed, hands over his head, back completely prone. “I give,” he groaned, “I give, I give, I give.”… Above deck, the stands stirred, collective breaths of spectators baited as they watched the ramp from top-deck to the shadowy depths below. Massive screens relayed the final moments of the match, one fish-eyed lens watching the ballast tank, and periodically panning closer to the individual fights taking-place—the other focused on the ramp. The palpable tension—the promise of a satisfying conclusion—had sent a hush over the stands.

The end of this all was so close by, her big green eyes could see it, even when her vision was a little blurred because of the tears that she had. She still held the sword close in her shaking hands and tried to look what to do, she was going through... Okay. Now. Nothing happened, now. Still, nothing happened, she did have the actual intention to move through and she nodded with Blank's advice. Yea, if she would go through now... like right now, that would mean that they were gone and that it was over. Go now. You can do it, now. But her feet were frozen to the floor and Honey did not move and she hunched down when she heard Yasashi behind her. "N-no!" She tried to be brave but obviously was visibly shaking. She was a hero, she was going to do it, she wasn't going to fail, this exercise she might took it a little too serious but she wanted to show that she could do this. That her fears weren't going to define her a loser... because that was at the moment what it was. Yaya-kun was her friend, playing the villain role and she sniffed, trying to get rid of her tears. So she shouldn't be too afraid of him, she should take this moment to learn that she was a scared squirrel but that she could break through it and go on.
She hunched down, shoulders up, head down and looked at Yasashi. "A-A good he-hero would never, never give over!" She said and tried to move a little towards the back, but the steps were very small and she would still have to go through the skeletons that he had summoned, maybe if she had her eyes closed but then she could not see either if Yasashi would try to steal Blank from her. But the steps were small, if they would wait for her it would still take about two hours. She forced herself to do something and she closed her eyes, that was the only solution she had now and she tried, still not moving the fastest because she obviously already knew the skeletons were there, she had her ears perked up to listen for incoming attacks and yet she tried, stumbling on the ramp but managed to hold on to Blank still, understanding still that it was her most important job. Also trying to motivate herself that she could do it and be a hero, she was again frozen in fear. Even if she said to herself, "You can do it!" her brain answered with: "You sure?" So it didn't work.

The weight wrapped around his shoulders; pushing him down until he felt like his knees were going to buckle. He could feel a slight tickling sensation in his legs. His stamina was about to give out; he would be burning marrow and organic material going forward from here. The frown deepened on his face, hidden behind his mask. He looked down at his friend, her shoulders up, hackles raised, her eyes locked with his. He could see her muscles tense as her body tried to move. She took a trembling step backward even as she fought to suppress her tears. He felt his chest tighten a little more as the skeletons in the room where the rest were fighting began to dissolve. They crumpled like a heavy sack before turning into dust and vanishing, the angry blue glow gone from their eyes.
He glanced over his shoulder as she took a few more steps back, silent as the grave. He could hear the fighting reaching its peak, it'd be over soon. He looked down at her, the fierceness in her eyes even as terror locked her muscles and denied her strength. His quirk was designed as a psychological weapon, it was intended to cause fear even on a natural level and he had trained to make it even scarier. He'd studied ways to instill fear to prevent violent outcomes. And here she was, tiny little thing, standing up to him with all the burning pride of a hero in her heart. His lip trembled, he took a deep breath and exhaled, the glow in his eyes flaring once before drawing up his resolve. This was going to hurt.
He clenched his jaw, took a deep breath, and tensed all of his muscles. He felt the area around him, the walls, the ceiling, the stairs, the route leading to them. He focused, feeling the marrow of his bones beginning to thin from the effort. A sudden jarring shock ran up his spine and he refused to make a sound. His helmet and the darkness concealing the trickle of blood from his nose and lips. His eyes itched and burned as agony bit into his insides, his bones on fire, he'd hit his limit. But he didn't give a damn, he clenched his fists and let out a grunt of will, and without warning a series of thick, heavy walls of bone formed between those behind and the two of them in the hallway.
He exhaled, all his attention on keeping the walls strong for as long as he could. He knelt down, wordless, and without so much as an excuse he picked the frozen girl up off the ground and held her in his arms. He took another breath. One foot in front of the other, Tartarus, he urged himself, and began to move. Dragging himself forward one step at a time, the light of the outside, the hush of the stands, echoing in his blasted pain-fueled senses. He kept his chin up. If he looked down he didn't know what he was going to do. He couldn't meet her eyes. All he could do... all he had the strength to do... was the right thing.
He hefted her in one hand, just outside the light of the outside. He could see the goal before him. He looked to the right and smiled to himself a little, another trickle of blood coming out of his nose as he fought to keep the walls separating him from the others up. He grit his teeth, reared back, and hurled Honey and the sword-shaped rescuee out into the open.
His strength left him.
His vision dimmed.
His knees buckled.
But he kept standing. He couldn't let her see him collapse. The walls behind him dissolved allowing passage for the others. He laughed, he was going to pay for this, he had a feeling. But it was worth it.
"You deserve it," He said, grinning his big stupid grin, "Well done."

Kumoko smiled. "Of course!" She had remembered that promise, and was not about to break it. "I'm not gonna forget our-" She then realized just what it was Berker said. "...Wait, did you just say 'date'?" Eh, it was best to not overthink things before the poor girl became flustered and... nope, too late. Kumoko's cheeks turned pale blue (because spider blood isn't red) just thinking about that. But then Kumoko snapped herself back to reality. She then smirked as she looked at Berker. "Heh, nice try." It was a good plan. Psychological warfare was a valid and clever tactic. But that line would not work on her. After all, it was not like anyone would ever seriously want to take the spider girl out on an actual date.
...Right?
Anyway, time to focus on the actual fight and not get distracted. After some playful banter, it was time to get ready for whatever it was Berker had planned. Kumoko's smile faltered once she saw Berker smack the net to the ground with his staff. Oh crud. She suspected that he might have an easy time to break out of the net, but to simply deal with it before the net even had the chance to ensnare him? It was a bit disheartening. Even worse, now Berker chose to approach her! Assuming a defensive stance, Kumoko got ready to do her best to intercept the incoming attack and...
Oh wow, why do I feel really tired all of a sudden?
It seemed as though with how much Kumoko had done, her adrenaline levels had spiked. But it could not last forever. And it was only now that the spider-headed girl realized just how exhausted her body was. She could barely move. She felt sluggish and tired. Too tired to be able to get out of the way in time. EEP! Feeling the intense jab at her stomach, Kumoko winced in pain as she was knocked down to the ground. Owwww...
But she could not just lie down there and do nothing. No matter how tired she felt, no matter how much her body ached in pain, Kumoko needed to do something. Not just for her team's sake, but for Berker as well. She did not want to give him a disappointing fight. He deserved better than that. So ignoring the exhaustion for as long as she could, Kumoko launched her counterattack.
First, she would use up whatever energy she had left to produce as much silk as she could. While still lying down on the ground, Kumoko would then shoot all of the golden web that she could straight at Berker's torso. Her goal was to try to first bind his arms, then aim for his legs, aiming to wrap him in a golden cocoon of silk. If she missed, however, it was no big deal. Seeing as defending was not going to work, then her plan would be to try and grab on to Berker's staff if he tried swinging it at her.
Regardless of what happened, Kumoko's plan was to get herself close to Berker, or for him to come close to her. Either way worked in the spider girl's favor. Then it would be time to deliver her final attack. "I'm sorry." And then, if she could, Kumoko would attempt to sink her fangs in Berker's arm, injecting him with venom if she could successfully bite him.
If the bite landed, then Berker would be feeling a bit nauseous right now. Kumoko would then immediately open one of the pouches on her utility belt and hand him the vial containing the antidote. Probably unnecessary, as the girl's venom was rather weak. Still, she always felt guilty whenever she ended up biting someone.
However, if the bite missed, then Kumoko would just look at Berker with a sad smile. "Sorry. It was all I could think of in the heat of the moment."
Regardless, the attempted bite was Kumoko's final attack. She could not move very much with how exhausted she was. So the winner of this small skirmish would be decided by whether or not the bite landed. If the venom did its job and left Berker too crippled to continue fighting, then Kumoko would see that as a victory for her. However, if the bite failed or Berker was persistent enough to be able to attack despite the venom making him feel a bit nauseous, then the spider girl would really not have much else to defend herself with. And in that case, she would be vulnerable to whatever attack the boy chose to use, making him the winner.
Either way, Kumoko had no regrets. She did her best out there, and she knew that Berker had done the same. So really, the spider girl did not mind either outcome. Either way, she would give Berker a warm and cheery smile. "Good game." And then just simply lie down there, too exhausted to move or do much of anything. Instead, she would just think about various things. From how Honey was doing, if Yasashi caught her, if Rin won her fight, and what to do after the finale.
I mean honestly, I wouldn't say no...

Berker was surprised at first when he heard Kumoko saying all cheerfully "Of course!" ... The answer he was waiting has come right after that. Her blushing was the sign of Berker's success! Yet he was not happy at all. For some reason seeing her blush like that made him feel responsible now. "You gotta own it now..." he said to himself. He had to take her to date for real or he could never face himself now.
Much to his surprise he did manage to get the web out of the way. And not only that but he also managed to land a hit. They promised they would do their best after all. There was no way he'd hold himself back. "I told you we will win." Berker smiled as he looked down at her. "Yasashi shall have already took the hostage, it shall be announced soon." He was believing in his teammate. He believed he'd not fail. Sadly he never thought about how Yasashi used his quirk from the very start and how tired he was. For a person who think a lot, missing something as basic as that would haunt him for the days to come. But this was not the only thing that would haunt him. Seeing Kumoko at ground Berker was sure of his victory. Taking his time, he raised his staff to deliver the finishing blow. Yet... His hands would never raise higher then his torso. He learned in first hand experience just how fast Kumoko could weave her webs. "Shit!" trying to get away from the web he'd try struggle to no avail. Just a seconds later comes the bite with a "Sorry". As poison spread through his body Berker would be brought down to his knees. "Oh come on..." A strategist who always think about what's next... A person who tries to be ready at all times... Failed at the LAST SECOND?
It was sad. It was something he should get mad. Yet he was not. Today he learned valuable lesson. A lesson showing that even he could fall to that false sense of security. False sense of victory... As his body fell to ground Berker would just lie down there. Seeing Kumoko also lie down in exhaustion he'd call to her. "If you have time to rest... Think about where shall we go for our date..." After saying that Berker would just shut up. Talking was not helping him when poison was still inside him. He just hoped at least Yasashi would succeed. If not... he'd be sure to bonk him in the head with his staff next time he saw him.

It wasn't perfect due to her not quite being in top form but she managed to land the hit. Was it effective though? The boy's words of surrender would grant her momentary relief. But she had taken too much time. Apart from being the furthest away from the stairs leading outside, she had lost track of her teammates' positions. She had to make a decision. Although Kumoko would have likely been closer to where she was, Karen figured that at this point it would be better to get to the hostage directly. In the best case they could work together against the lone pursuer. In the worst case, she could even things out in a two on two. Although evaluating her condition, she wasn't too certain how much of a fight she could possibly put up at this point. Perhaps a 'suicide' tackle to take one down with her? If this event was a true to life simulation of what a real hero hostage case was like, then it was hard for her to give herself good marks. It had been a bumpy and troublesome road the whole way. Still she had to keep pushing on. After taking a moment to catch her breath, she would fly towards the stairs. Whether or not she would make it in time to make a difference was up in the air.

The match would end as soon as someone breached the surface of the ship. The collective gaze of the crowd watched the catch where, just behind where the light reached, the final showdown was taking place. A gap rushed through the crowd as Yasashi grasped for Honey. But rather than seize the blade, he pitched the diminutive squirrel mutant upward, into the light. There were a few heartbeats of silence… could the villains help the heroes? Could the captive use their quirk? Was this allowed? Was this against the rules? Blank undid his shifted form, returning to his human guise. His hand was clasped in Honey's hand, which had clasped the sword. He raised their clasped hands above their heads vigorously, signaling the end of the challenge. Streamers exploded from above the stands and the massive screen, horns blaring, signaling the end of the catch. The crowd surged to life, cheering uproariously. Who cared if it was against the rules or not? Such an idealistic conclusion was heartwarming. At the end of the day, these superhumans were still human… still kids, too. "That was amazing!!" Blank shouted over the din, clasping Honey's shoulders, bouncing excitedly, "Let's go get the others, yeah?"The two would descend back down the ramp, greeting Kumoko along the way. They'd be joined by other support staff, medics and aides with supplies to help the competitors recuperate and disembark. The teens would be ushered to the surface of the ship, heralded by applause as they emerged, regardless of whether they'd won or lost. They'd put-on an amazing show, and would be lauded for such. - end -
