Yasashi felt the first of his canine compatriots burst into a spray of white mist as Karen's attack does its job. Even so, the initial damage had been done and his competitors had been slowed. That meant only one thing he had to pin them down now. If he could restrain them-even for a moment, he could get the lead that they needed. But that meant doing something that he really didn't feel comfortable doing. The light wasn't exactly reliable in this hallway to begin with-he shook his head as the heartbeat ticked over and his mind settled on a course of action. He glanced down at the opening where their comrade was about to be pulled up. He heard the siren and saw the flame retardent begin to descend. No choice. This could be the wrong decision and they could end up getting themselves trapped by they needed a way around and he wasn't going to try to go through Karen.
He reared back and drew up his strength, going all in and burning through a portion of his stamina for this use of his quirk. He slammed his foot down and focused on the hallway, growling out the words; "Corridor of Terror," He hissed, in time for the hallway to rattle with the sudden flush of dozens, no... over a hundred skeletal arms sprouting from the ceiling, floor, and walls, a square of grabbing, gripping and clutching hands that passed down the hall in a single wave; eager to pin down anything in their path. Using his arms like this was harder in an open space; but in a constrained hallway? It'd be hard to avoid.
Yasashi turned to look at the hole that their pink haired companion had come out of and grabbed Berker, rushing from the flame retardent. "No choice! I can't block that stuff, and we need to move! If there's a room down there, there must be a way out of it down there as well!" He charged toward the opening and leaped down into the chamber below, spinning around and casting his blue flames left and right to try to force as much visibility as he could. It wasn't a lot-most of his concentration was on maintaining his hands up above. He could feel if they grabbed onto something and that would have to be enough-without line of sight it was harder to maintain fine motor control if it wasn't a practiced maneuver. He squinted in a circle before spotting what he was looking for. A door that lead further in. Without a moments hesitation he charged toward it; forming a plate of bone on his shoulder to attempt to smash it open with all the strength he had.
He was either leading his team into a dead end or a new route toward Blank sensei.

The skeletal dogs were surprisingly resilient as one managed to evade her attempts to destroy it. But that was the least of her problems. A gas of some sort was released from what appeared to be the ship's sprinkler system and it was safe to assume it wasn't something people should be inhaling at all. She had to come to a quick decision. The time to be careful and cautious had past. Against that gas she was relatively sure that she was probably the only one on their team that had a decent defense against it. In other words, time to takes things into her own hands for a bit. Aura flaring up, she would fly back at high speed in the direction of her team, outrunning even Yasashi's remaining dog. At a glance Kumoko was attempting something with her web as makeshift masks but there was no telling how effective that would be. As she flew by she would quickly grab her teammates, sharing her aura with them to provide better protection while heading further east down the corridor. Flying meant they could avoid stepping on any pressure plates, but the cannons and lasers were a different problem. This was where Karen's mobility and defenses came in. Was she confident she could get through, especially with two others in tow? Not as much as she would like say. But she was putting a whole year of training on the line here. Besides there wasn't much point in turning back with Yasashi's own little gift coming up right behind them. "Apologies friends, but this is going to be a bit rough!"Finding the right timing and slipping through the lasers was the easier part as she felt she could handle this with her maneuverability. What would be more challenging was the cannons that responded to their movements, meaning she had to react mostly after the shots were fired or try to predict where they were aiming. She needed a bit of help here. "I can get us through the lasers but I need a bit of help dealing with the cannons. If you can hit them with your webs or anything at all to disrupt them, it will make it easier to avoid getting hit!"That was the best instruction she could give. The rest was up to her. Weaving through the traps in that corridor, she did her best to prioritize protecting her teammates as they advanced as quickly as possible. At any point where avoiding an incoming projectile as improbable, she would choose to take the hit herself rather than put her teammates in danger, hoping that her shields held up. And if it still somehow got through then she would do her best to endure it. She would continue to fly forward as far as she could to escape Yasashi's attack and the gas. Her goal was to look for a safe location to regroup or possibly their missing hostage. At the first sign of a room or any other branching off passage from the main hallway she would head for it. Hopefully it had a nice sturdy door to keep the nasty things out while they caught their breath.

As the flame retardant descended, the students collectively lunged into action to try and combat it. While Kumoko’s makeshift masks did little to combat the settling fumes, her attempt to fan the retardant away was far more effective. Likewise, when Berker spun his staff, it helped to deflect the falling smoke. So long as they both continued, it would help dissipate the fumes in the immediate area.
The two teams parted ways, each implementing a unique and somewhat effective technique. As Yasashi’s bone dog sprinted down the halls, its paws would occasionally trigger a number of traps—pitfalls that led to a giant inflatable cushion, as one might see on the set of an action movie—floors that, upon falling away, would reveal rollers like those found in fun-houses—air cannons at head-level that fired a surprising gust of air upon footfall. All easily avoidable, should the hapless teens be mindful of where their feet landed.
What the prop team had not anticipated, however, was the sudden descent into the floor-space made by the boys’ team. As such… they would find their path relatively unobscured and free of traps. It was, however, incredibly dark—claustrophobically so. The lull in the sound would imply a narrow hallway, relatively straight. But did Blank lay at the end of it, or was this quiet hall a dead-end?
If the boys moved forward, they would stroll past the innards of the ship, pipes and small doors and a sundry of wires. At the end of the hall, there was a door through which yellow light seeped… it barely winked in the gloom surrounding them.
Did it warrant an investigation? Or would the boys’ team lose their nerve and double-back?
As the skeletons seemed to crawl through the walls, grasping for the girls’ team, Karen’s aura would do well at deflecting their grasping claws. It would not, however, mitigate the nightmarish sight of skeletons emerging seemingly out of the aether.
Karen’s attempt to find a room to take shelter in was initially fruitless—the first door was locked, as was the second—the girls’ flight would lead them towards the bow of the ship, where the narrowing halls would suddenly curve inward towards the ballast tank. The door to access this would, at Karen’s behest, swing open, revealing a white, metal ladder that descended two-meters down to a small landing. From the landing, a dozen steep, metallic stairs—another landing, another two dozen stairs—and then the imperceptible floor below. All this was lit by a single, round light.
In a normal, seafaring vessel, this cavernous room could be filled with water, part of the journey determining—but at the moment, this gaping room seemed empty.
Or… was it…?
Though the single light revealed very little to those with average eyes, if one of the girls looked close enough, they might see a figure huddled at the foot of the stairs.
Karen’s opening of the door cast a fan of light down the stairs above, bringing the sound of the chaos above into sharp focus. Blank lifted his head, causing the captain’s hat to drop low over his eyes. He nudged the wide-brimmed thing with his handcuffed hands, trying to get a better look at the door. A captive would call-out to their rescuers, wouldn’t they?
“Help meeee~” the voice of the teacher would beckon from the gloom. He did not sound appropriately distressed, by any means—and perhaps that was because Blank was privy to the chaos that was unfolding up-above. But the fact of the matter was that, at the base of these steep stairs, the girls’ had found their target.
“The wicked pirates handcuffed me and tossed me in here for dead~” Blank insisted coyly. Hands and legs, both handcuffed, at the bottom of the stairs.
If the boys listened closely, they might be able to hear that selfsame cry of “Help meeeee~” arising somewhere in the gloom that lay before them.
The girls, at the moment, had the advantage.

It hurt, and Honey did not like how it hurt, she wasn't good at tackling that, working with it and so on. She was rather childish when it came to that and would just sit down and do nothing. She would have to be pushed by either Kumoko or Karen that she should move and get out of this yellow fog, mist, whatever it was because else it wouldn't help. Surely it came from above and Honey was small so it reached her a little slower but she had also very sensitive eyes and the like, it meant that it didn't slow it down that much. It sucked. But she noticed it was getting better and looked up at Kumoko and gave her a small smile, finally, the party seemed to be saved when Karen caught up with them. Honey said nothing, she managed to climb upright to run and stay in Karen's sphere or whatever it was, the squirrel girl did not care as long as she would be able to stay in there and feel the possibility to breathe and blink her eyes without wanting to sort of pop them out to make the hurt stop. She followed, like a good little girl and when they reached the new room, she looked down, oh now that was something. "Would there be traps here too?" She asked a little softly but that's when her ears heard it, peeking up, she stared at Kumoko who might have heard it too.
She jumped behind Karen when she heard the call of help, only realising that was a bit silly and this was the whole game they were performing, "Oh sensei." she huffed and she would try to see if she could climb down and make her way to their teacher and she frowned, "Can we get the cuffs off?" Else he couldn't walk and they couldn't bring him down, she definitely not had the ways for this but maybe her friend had, she knew Kumoko was probably prepared for everything and she drooped off a little, not fitting for anything here, it was rather a shame. Honey rubbed her eyes a little in the darkness, it seemed to cool off and she felt better at least physically, mentally she realized she had a lot to learn and was probably more in people their way than anyone else. Well, maybe she could do something if anyone else had a solution.

This gas is awful! While Kumoko felt a bit disheartened that her masks were not very effective (and felt worse considering that she had to find out the hard way), she was at least relieved that fanning the smoke away seemed to be doing the trick. For now at least. Still, Kumoko's makeshift solution was not the best, and she was already suffering the effects of the gas. Dang it, I don't think I have anything in my first-aid kit that can deal with this! Her senses were still going crazy. It was hard, but the poor girl did her best to try and ignore the effects of the gas while also remaining calm.
Okay, masks are a dud, but at least fanning the gas works, until my arms get tired, anyway. Might as well keep the masks, though. I could use the silk and purpose them into something else. Plus, I don't have a limitless supply of silk at my disposal, so best to reuse what I have whenever possible. Okay then. We just need to keep moving. I'm sure Karen will catch up to us.
Fortunately, that last thought came to pass. With her aura protecting the group, at least there was no more worry about exposure to the gas, nor did Kumoko need to worry about her arms tiring. Still, the spider girl could not help but worry. Karen is going to be fine, right? I don't think her aura will last forever, will it? Well, she knows her own quirk better than anyone else, so I'm sure she's keeping that in mind. Indeed, it was best to not overuse one's quirk too much, and then be too tired to keep going when it was really needed. At least Honey is still going strong, not counting the gas. Poor Honey. I hope she's not doing too bad.
Unfortunately, the boys seemed to have a surprise waiting for them. Kumoko looked, and her six eyes widened in shock and fear. "W-w-what are th-those?!" Normally, Kumoko would not be afraid of those skeletal arms. In fact, she would have been fascinated by them. But with their sudden appearance seemingly coming out of nowhere, approaching the girls, and Kumoko's heightened caution thanks to that awful gas, now was not the time to stand there and admire whoever's quirk that was.
Fortunately, the group was already flying off, thankfully faster than those creepy hands. That's a relief! Now to navigate the area. Naturally, flying around meant that no traps on the floor would be set off. That was good. Kumoko still felt bad for triggering that stupid gas. Yes, she had no way of detecting that pressure plate, but still. To try and make up for that blunder, Kumoko was determined to do anything she could to help.
One such thing were the cannons that were not as easy for Karen to bypass. With her attention occupied in carrying the team safely, it would be Kumoko's job to deal with the cannons in any way she could. "Aye aye! Leave those to me!" Her plan was twofold. First, if the cannon's base support looked weak, she could fire pellets at them with her slingshot, hopefully knocking them off their base. Or if that did not work, then Kumoko could just fire some webs straight into the barrels. This would hopefully clog the cannons, preventing them from firing (or just making them explode, Kumoko was unsure of which would happen). The best part was that with the masks proving to be useless, the spider girl could just eat them and reuse the silk to save on producing additional webs.
Hopefully, the flight was smooth sailing, but Kumoko would of course do her best to try and listen for any hidden traps or other dangers, using her webs and slingshot as necessary. Eventually, Karen found an unlocked door that led to a huge cavernous room that was barely lit at all and seemed to go down quite a ways. Woah! Wouldn't want to trip and fall down here! Upon hearing Honey's question, Kumoko smiled reassuringly. "If there are, I'll find them. Don't worry, I won't let any traps ensnare us!" The last thing she wanted was to accidentally trigger a trap again. So she would carefully listen for any sounds, anything that could possibly spell danger, and do her best to warn and guide her teammates away from any possible danger.
But if there were any traps down here, they were not the only thing Kumoko would discover. Upon squinting a bit, Kumoko could barely make out a figure. How lucky to have vision-enhancing goggles! Wait, is that...? And then a voice echoed from below. Someone calling for help! Omigosh, it is! The captain! Excitedly, Kumoko made her way down to meet with the captain. But of course, Kumoko made sure to continue being cautious, watching out for any traps that could ruin things.
"Blank-sensei? Are you alright?" Okay, it should be obvious that he was not really restrained and handcuffed by pirates. But Kumoko decided to play along. Not because she was not taking this seriously, but because with her wariness and heightened fear and rush of adrenaline, she just wanted to hurry up and get out of here safely with Blank-sensei. It was faster to not question things. "Don't worry, you're safe now. Let's get you out of there." Assuming that there were no traps that were nearby (as the thought of the captain being freed would trigger something was sadly a very real possibility that could not be ignored), Kumoko would help him up. Sadly, there was not much she could do about the handcuffs. Perhaps Karen could use her strength to break them?
But it was then that Kumoko thought of two very important things. The first was the fact that the boys could show up at any time and complicate things. They could not rule out the possibility of that happening. Getting out of this trap-infested ship was already hard enough. But with Blue Team thrown into the mix? The girls simply could not ignore that threatening possibility. They needed to prepare for a possible ambush.
And of course, the second thing was what to do regarding protecting Blank-sensei should the boys show up or if there are any more unforeseen troubles. The spider girl spoke up. "Honey, why don't you protect Blank-sensei? In case Blue Team tries to attack us? Karen and I have used our quirks quite a bit already, but you're for the most part at full power, right? So I think you would be well-suited for the role in case Karen and I lose steam. We can focus on safely getting us all out of here, while you can help fight at full strength if the boys get past us." It was a reasonable plan in the spider girl's opinion, especially since she had absolute faith in Honey's abilities. Though of course, Kumoko would hear her teammates out if they had any input on the idea or other suggestions that could work better.
Alright, with the captain found and secured (hopefully without issue). It was time to hightail it out of here. The sooner the better. Especially before the boys found this place!

"Well... I'll be damned. Would you look at that!" He was like people from one of those kung fu movies. Fast spinning staff and all. Berker was feeling proud as he fan the gas away. As his teammates jumped down, he followed them. While his choice was to follow the girls from the ramp, he wasn't comfortable with leaving his teammates and doing whatever he wanted. Also there was a chance they he'd have to face girls all alone. While he was sure in his abilities, he wasn't sure how much advantage it'd give to his team if he were to do that.
More they descended, the more claustrophobic it became. It was almost like this road wasn't the one they should have take to descend. Even though he hated it, he didn't said anything out. He was afraid that their morale would go down if he were to say anything negatively. Also him being claustrophobic would only cripple their advance right now. Only thing he could do was just shut his mouth and walk as fast as he can. After some walking they could see a light at the end of the tunnel. Talking about the light Berker said. "Well... At least it's not a white light at the end of the tunnel." He laughed at his own joke thinking it was actually a clever one. Or funny... Whatever... "We can finally get out of this place." He told the others as he proceed to light.

Yasashi peered around, there was little he could see besides the dim light ahead of them. A small smile teased on his face when Berker made his quip. There was no other way they could go and Yasashi wasn't about to give up. He clenched his right hand and a blue flame erupted to light around his fist. He held it there and charged forward, careful not to let the wind put out the flame and their only alternative source of light. His eyes scanned the path ahead of them as best as he could; he didn't have night vision. Instead, he made his way toward the only possible destination with all due haste. There was little chance they would come out on top at this rate but he was not going to let it go just like this.
With uncharacteristic silence he urged his two allies forward; his eyes focused on the goal. His armor was already beginning to reform from what little damage had been done to it and skeletons were beginning to claw their way out of the walls nearby; seeming to phase through the metal. It wouldn't be long before the creatures were fully formed and taking up ranks alongside Yasashi and his group. It would take until they reached the end of the hall and went through the exit; but he would have made at least nine humanoids, half of his max. That was also the best he could do without dipping too hard into his stamina. He needed to conserve for one last big display if it came down to it.
"No time to make a plan, we're rolling with it," Yasashi grunted, unhappy with the lack of prep time. There was so much he needed to learn. He placed a powerful hand against the door and shoved it open, stalking out into the next room. | TAG WORDS NOTES

It was a bit of a struggle but she managed to pull it off. Finally lucking out on a door that would open, they swiftly took refuge inside only to find that the room in question actually led further down into the bowels of the ship. It was then that they heard it, a cry for help. The captain they were supposed to rescue was at the very bottom. And, as far as she could tell, it didn't seem like there were any traps around so they made haste to him. She smiled as they approached. She would let her teammates handle securing their rescue target while she took this opportunity to rest up and scan the area around. Apart from the stairs leading back up where they came from, there was another door at the end of the room. She wasn't much of a ship expert to guess where that would take them. If she had to quickly decide between proceeding there or going back up, she would choose the latter. Dangerous as it was, at the very least they already knew what to expect. And she preferred knowing, rather than exploring a brand new unknown. Still it was worth checking out what was beyond it just in case. A small peek probably wouldn't hurt while Kumoko and Honey stood by their teacher. "Lend me a thread Kumoko-kun. I'm curious about where that other door leads to but it could be dangerous. If it turns out to be a no go, I'll send my aura through your thread to alert you so you can get a head start climbing back up where we came from."She realized that she had somehow relegated herself to a rearguard role yet again. But she felt that among the three of them she had the best chance of getting out of a sticky situation if they do find trouble. She had no objections to Honey taking the primary responsibility of guarding their teacher closely so this was her part to play. "No worries, I'll just take a quick peek! But please do make make your way back up without waiting for me when I send the signal."Once Kumoko had provided the thread she requested, Karen would cautiously approach the other door and attempt to open it. Except that she didn't get the chance to. Someone or something would shove the door open from the other side, and her instincts and quick reflexes would tell her to push it back close as hard as she could. Presumably the other side didn't push open with all their strength the first time. "Kumoko-kun there's someone on the other side! Help me seal the door shut!"Hopefully as they discussed earlier Honey would lead their teacher up the stairs while they took care of the door. The further away she could get, the better. Meanwhile she activated her aura again as a precaution. There was no telling if they could keep the door closed and she needed to protect herself if they try harder at getting through.

The hellscape that the students had endured must have certainly left their nerves quite frayed. For, when Blank spoke from the gloom, the squirrel-looking one jumped in alarm, taking shelter behind one of the members of her team. Blank inclined his head, the captain’s hat making the gesture even more humorous. He waited, patiently, as the girls made their cautious descent. As they clambered down the rickety stairs, they would find no unusual traps—just the horrendous height and the weak light.
“I’m alright~” Blank’s singsong answered the spider-headed youth, “Just these darned shackles are inconvenient, no~?”
He sat-by passively as the girls conspired, constructing a careful game-plan. The small, squirrely one—Honey—would be the one to protect Blank.
Meanwhile, should the boys proceed down the tunnel, there would be some generally harmless obstacles along the way—hissing and grinding sounds, typical of machinery in the bowels of a ship. Some sick Support Student had even thrown-in a few air-cannons at head-height—which, although disconcerting, were generally harmless.
Yasashi took the lead, his blue flame illuminating the din ahead. Liam charged after, letting loose an excited *whoop!* as he punched the air.
“Come on, you cowards! I’ve got a good feeling about this! Imagine the tech!”
Not that either of the other boys were showing cowardice. The pink-haired lad was just trying to get himself hyped. Liam charged past Berker, letting out a less-spirited, more frightened yelp as an air-cannon rushed against his eardrum.
“Now that’s just mean,” the pink-haired teen insisted.
He stopped by the air cannon, squinting at it in the dark—the bearings on it were relatively easy to undo. And, thankfully, the pink-haired gent had just the tools to unfasten it.
As Yasashi shoved the door open with his weight he would get a glimpse—either through the crack of the door, or the porthole at eye level—of the very same room where the girls were gathered. Now the true conflict could begin—no longer was it a test of them against the ship, it was heroes-versus-villains.
On the “Heroes” team, Kumoko, Honey, and Karen would valiantly guard the captain and try to transport him to safety—meanwhile, the “Villainous” Yasashi, Berker, and Liam would attempt to reclaim the captain and the heroic title of their own.
Liam rejoined the group, the air-cannon under his arm. Through the porthole, he saw a glimpse of blue hair, and saw that the door was putting-up quite the protest to being opened.
“The girls are on the other side!” Liam cried, not yet aware of the room—or the Captain—that awaited on the other side. “Put your backs into it!”
Liam cracked-open an energy drink, slamming it back with zeal so that the beverage splashed sloppily down his chin. With little regard for the teammates between Liam and the door, Liam hefted the air cannon and centered his gravity.
“Heads up!”
That was all the forewarning Liam offered before discharging the air cannon. Courtesy of his quirk’s supercharging of the device, and Yasashi’s raw strength, the door would be flung open colliding with the wall with a bang.
“Surrender now, Red Team! And your captain just might escape alive!” Liam yelled jauntily from the hall.
Before charging into the fray, he unspooled some duct tape from a belt around his waist, fastening the air-cannon to his arm. This would free his hands to grapple and potentially grab-at the captain.
Having affixed the cannon to his arm, Liam charged down the stairs, still wearing his haphazard grin. He would lunge at whomever came for him first, his yellow eyes glimmering brightly.
“Hey! Fancy meeting you here,” he greeted his opponent, smiling broadly, “What are the odds of you, like, just surrendering, eh?”

Oh, so she was going to be the defender and protector. Okay, well that was what she wanted to be so this was the moment of truth, right? Honey looked from Kumoko at Karen. Her back stung a little but Kumoko had fixed it so it was more of a lie that her body told her that she was nervous. Those things in the wall were gone, they would maybe come here as Yaya-kun was here. Berker was here too, so well everyone was here. She did not wait too long, her eyes and ears open she asked their teacher to get up kindly as she could. She wanted to see this as an official training, a way to show that she took her studies seriously up until this point. "Sensei, I have to ask you to get up and try the stairs, after that when we have more time we will look into the cuffs." That meant she will have to be behind him and gave a thumbs up to Kumoko and would see if it worked. She had had two plans in her head, but she did not like the first, her idea had been to lift up Blank-sensei with her tail and quickly climb up but then he would have to face the so-called danger.
Honey was a good climber and she checked the wall of the ship, there were little separate parts in the plates of metal in the room that would make it okay for her to climb so she could come with Blank on his climb upstairs. She would first, of course, make surge that her charge was trying to make it up the stairs before trying anything else. She would in that case also wait a bit to see if he made progress before following, it was important to make sure that he was on his way and was doing okay and that she would be there to protect and to see if any of the boys would do something. Honey would protect Blank, that meant she would climb after him in the scenario that she could because no one charged to her yet or she would do so or jump up depending on how high she had to go to try and make sure he wasn't attacked or simply stolen. She got maybe a little too focused on the hero versus villain and it made her nervous and not entirely happy but at this point, she would have to show what she was capable off. Her tail ready, her eyes open in this dark lit space, though she believed there was a light and just remembering that it was fake if something came out of the walls...

Kumoko frowned. She wished she could remove the shackles on Blank-sensei herself, assuming that they were impossible for him to remove on his own. Then again, he was pretending to be a hostage, so it was very likely that he could not remove it himself. Either that or maybe he did not want to and wanted to see if one of the girls could break his shackles for him. Sadly, Kumoko lacked the necessary strength to do just that. Her webs were strong, but the spider-headed girl doubted that it would be enough. Maybe Karen would be able to break them. Or perhaps Honey, as she would be the one escorting him anyway.
I shouldn't feel too bad. Remember, different people are skilled in different areas. I may not be physically strong, but I'm not useless because of that! My strong points lie elsewhere, that's all!
Karen then spoke up, requesting a thread from the spider girl. Listening to the rest of what she had to say, Kumoko nodded. It was a neat plan. "Alright. One thread coming up." She then produced a golden thread and handed it to her teammate. I just hope that there isn't going to be anything dangerous on the other side of that door. But then, it would be odd at this point if there were no danger. The boys would have to show up sooner or later. The only question was when.
But it seemed that between the two, sooner was the one that won out. The spider girl jumped in shock upon seeing that door unexpectedly move. "Eeep!" Karen then asked for some assistance in keeping the door shut. She did not need to ask Kumoko more than once. The spider girl nodded, and then immediately produced and fired several strings of web, doing her best to try and help barricade the door. No no no, don't come in here! Kumoko looked back at Honey for a moment. There was no need to tell the squirrel girl to move now, as she would know to do just that. Kumoko just hoped that her and Karen's combined efforts would be enough to keep the boys at bay. If not indefinitely, then at least long enough for Honey to get Blank-sensei out of there.
However, the attempt to barricade the door and keep the boys from coming in ultimately proved to be useless. The boys were able to break through! Oh no! She heard one of them yell out, telling them all to surrender now. Not being able to resist, Kumoko yelled back. "Fat chance, Blue Team! We won't let you take him!" Okay, if there was anything the spider girl could do, it was to do everything she could to ensure that she played her part. So while Honey and Blank-sensei were moving, Kumoko would try her very best to not let any of the boys get past her and Karen. It was time to make her stand!
There was a tiny issue, however. Seeing as she had used up quite a bit of silk already, Kumoko wished to conserve as much of her webs as possible. Being too tired to produce webs when she needed them would be awful! It was imperative for the spider girl to save whatever she had left in her reserves for when she truly needed them. So in the meantime, it was time to use her gadgets to attack.
First, Kumoko would quickly chuck all three of her smoke balls, one after the other, in the direction of the three boys. She hoped to hit all three of them at once, or at the very least the one closest to her if they decided to move out of the way quickly enough. By obscuring their vision, Kumoko aimed to make it harder for any of them to try attacking Honey from afar, or just see anything in front of them. Sadly, the smoke balls were very basic, with the smoke produced by a single smoke ball not being very thick at all. Which was why the spider-headed girl felt the need to throw all three of them in the same general area. Hopefully, three smoke balls would succeed where one would fail. And if the combined smoke was indeed enough to obscure the vision of at least one member of Blue Team, then only the enemy would be hindered by lack of visibility. Kumoko's senses would let her find her opponent even in the smoke. And not even counting the fact that Kumoko made sure to toss the smoke balls away from her teammate, Karen would be just fine with her aura.
Next, Kumoko would jump back a bit, trying to put herself between the door and the stairs that Honey and Blank-sensei were heading off to. If Karen chose (or was forced) to fight up close, then Kumoko wanted to support her from behind. Quickly taking out her slingshot, Kumoko loaded a pellet and pulled the elastic part back. As soon as she had a clear shot, or if someone tried to either attack her or attempt to pass on by, then Kumoko would fire a pellet at her target. Three pellets, one after the other in succession.
Honey-chan, I'll do my best to keep the guys away from you and Blank-sensei! Karen-san, I'll do everything I can to assist you in keeping them all at bay!
Would she be able to keep all of the boys from getting past her? Probably not. One of them was bound to at least try to get past the spider-headed girl. But still, Kumoko was determined to do her best to try holding them all back anyway. Would one of the boys choose to target and attack her directly? If so, then Kumoko was prepared to defend herself and fight back. It would not matter who it was. Berker, Yasashi, or the ANZHOP student. If any of them tried to attack or get past Kumoko, then she would not hold back.
Bring it on, Blue Team! If you want to take the Captain, then...
You're going to have to get past us first!

"Finally..." Berker was agitated from walking down in that damn place. Air-cannons? How old was the person designed that shit? It wasn't designed to be an obstacle, it was designed to be annoying. Reaching the end of it make him sigh in relief. But seems like their troubles wasn't going to end any time soon. As Yasashi tried to open the door, suddenly Liam decided to blow it up and be done with it. "I'm glad someone is having fun..." As he entered through the door he saw that girls already found their target. "Well... Hello there." Berker said while simply observing the situation. Honey was taking the hostage with herself, Kumoko was spewing false bravado... He had no idea about that other girl. He didn't wanted to waste his time with her, especially because he had no idea about how did his quirk worked. It'd be just a disadvantage for him to try and attack her. "I'll leave that blue hair to you Liam. Just have fun." Even though he wanted to go after Honey, he wasn't sure if he could be the right choice for that. Yasashi had more weapons, under his belt to use and steal the hostage. His skeletons could easily catch up with him. But on the other hand he'd be better at stopping kumoko and blue haired girl too... "Kumoko or Honey, decide quick." Berker told to Yasashi.
---- If Yasashi decides to go after Honey and Hostage---
Using his staff as a jumping pole, Berker took a few steps and tried to jump pass Kumoko's whatever the thing she was throwing. As he was landing he was going to use both gravity and his own weight to slam the staff right on Kumoko's head. It worked well against Desmo, so he was hoping it would work here too. If he could successfully hit Kumoko, he'd take his guard and see what she'll do after that. After all the girl had webs. Something he didn't wanted to get tangled up.
--- If Yasashi decides to attack Kumoko---
Using his staff as a jumping pole, Berker took a few steps and tried to jump pass Kumoko's whatever the thing she was throwing, his target was honey and the hostage. All Honey had to do was just take him to her own team's evacuation zone. Nobody said that they all had to be there together. At least he didn't remember any particular information like that. So instead of fighting, stopping honey and teacher was the right thing to do. Running after Honey, Berker would try to intercept them before they managed to get to stairs. If he were to fail to put himself before the stairs, He was willing to throw his staff and hit the hostage to stop them on their track. He was a villain after all. Hostage getting hurt wasn't something he would care... Right? Also he believed this way he was going to catch them. If his plan was successful he was going to try and retrieve his staff first. After retrieving it he'd take his guard and wait for his opponents move.

Yasashi's shoulder dug into the metal of the door. His armor grinding against the material as the girls on the other side fought to keep it shut. His blue eyes flared with a heave of strength, the door flying open with a bang. An enclosed space; walls for sound to bounce off of, he stood in the doorway with Berker to his left just as Kumoko hurled the smoke bombs into the air. No time. "Ears!" He growled and drew a huge breath in a quick motion charging forward and letting out a teeth rattling, bone chilling howl that sounded more like the groan of something dead begging to return to life. The wretched, agonized sound reverberated off the walls around them; (Barrow Howl; F Rank - Disorientation, -1 Rank Mobility for three turns.) He drew his arm up over his face as one of the smoke bombs bounced off his back. The other two hurtling further past him toward the door. Blast it that was close he cursed his own reckless attack.
His armor fully restored while in the hallway he stood like a brooding statue at the base of the steps leading to where Honey was. Beneath his mask he winced; it had to be Honey. He glanced toward Kumoko and Karen. Damn it. Liam would be engaging Karen which left the choice Berker had suggested. Kumoko would be a huge problem and so would Karen. He needed to get the situation under control, now. The girls would fight off his howl in short order so he didn't have time to waste. He glanced back up at Honey and felt a small part of him reach out to her in apology. He drew in another breath and stomped his foot in Honey's direction; "I'M COMING FOR YOU GIRL!" He gave his best villain impression, blue flames leaping from his eyes as a line of bones rushed across the ground in her direction, skulls began to pull themselves up out of the ground and boney arms grasped at the floor. If he wasn't stopped; he'd flood the room with humanoid skeletons.

For one person to attempt holding back three, it was rather inevitable that the greater party would eventually breakthrough. If not for putting up her shield beforehand, she might have taken some serious damage from the door getting blasted open in front of her. The explosive entrance was enough to give the boys an opening to get past her however and make their way to each of her teammates. Their teamwork wasn't too bad either. A sonic attack of some sort from Yasashi seemed to dull her movements a bit as she stood face to face with the foreign student. "We'll take your suggestion into consideration. But the floor is still open for other options..."She would reply to the offer of surrender. Interesting fellow this was. But she had to keep her wits. Judging from how they broke into the room, Liam was likely the one primarily responsible. And that kind of firepower was nothing to scoff at. Anyway the boys weren't the only ones with teamwork. Still holding on to the thread Kumoko lent earlier, Karen sent her aura through it, granting her teammate the same protective shield she had to fend off the boys' attacks. Now she didn't know what sort of quirk Liam had, but the obvious danger there was the cannon on his arm. Even though her dulled mobility meant she couldn't do as many feints as she would like, she was still pretty confident of her speed. Approaching in a zigzag, she would watch the cannon carefully so as to avoid its aim and once she got close enough she would attempt to take the foreign student down with a leg sweep. Should this be successful, she would follow up with a stomp to destroy his weapon. The faster she could finish this, the sooner she could go help the others.

The moment of piece erupted into all-out chaos as soon as the boys descended—smoke bombs, yelling, all frantic. Everything whirled around the clashing teams in a flurry of sights and sounds, certain to tantalize the crowd beyond the metallic walls of the ship. As Kumoko volleyed her smoke-balls at the three advancing boys, the first one would skitter off of Yasashi’s back and explode just off of the stairwell, filling the air without really taking any of the advancing team down. The second, however, struck true—it pelted Liam in the shoulder and exploded on impact, sending him into a fit of coughing—the other landed near the Blue Team’s feet. Despite his dizziness, Liam still managed to stagger to the base of the stairs, gasping for air and tearing-up. Liam loaded the air-cannon that he’d taped to his arm, and belatedly launched a blast of air towards the lingering smoke, blowing all of it back towards Karen. He barely had enough time to clap his hands over his ears before Yasashi loosed another ungodly howl, which resonated deep into his teammate’s chest and set his head reeling. While Liam stood dizzily hacking-up a lung, his two teammates pushed past him, Berker insisting that he take “the blue-haired girl” as he and Yasashi advanced. As in, the girl that was basically single-handedly holding the three of them back by throwing her weight into the door?! That was so unfair! And Liam was going to be sure to make that known. “Aw, come on!” Liam complained, his throat still raw from his descent. He was still steadying himself when Karen advanced, and recoiled a moment too late. He rose to take a swing at her, telegraphing his moves very clearly, and a blow to the legs suddenly swept Liam’s perspective sideways. A leg-sweep, really?! The pink-haired boy hit the ground hard, catching the brunt of it on his elbow—it sent a stabbing pain radiating up to his shoulder, and put his teeth on-edge. “Ow. Ow ow.”Liam discharged the air-cannon, blowing it (and his torso) out of the range of Karen’s stomp. The force of the blast propelled him a few meters back and to the side, and afforded the teen enough time to scrabble sloppily to his feet. “Oi, hands-off the tech!” Liam argued, “I stole this fair-and-square, thank you very much!”The boy would fire an air-blast in the direction of the blue-haired young woman’s head, aimed to disorient her, or perhaps even knock her off of her feet. Liam’s arm recoiled from the force of the blast, but Liam danced backwards, watching his blue-haired opponent. He wasn’t as strong or as fast as Karen—hand-to-hand, he couldn’t hope to keep-up with her. His objective was not, however, to best Karen in combat—it was to get the “Captain”. So as long as Liam was the best possible thorn in her side, they might stand a possible fighting chance of turning the tables. Regardless of the effect that the first blast from the air-cannon had, Liam would brace his cannon-bearing arm with his free hand, pointing it at Karen’s legs this time, and loosing another blow, aiming to knock her off of her feet. His elbow still pulsed painfully from the rough landing, but Liam would just have to grit his teeth a bear it. Meanwhile, at the other end of cavernous room, Honey was attempting to coerce Blank-sensei into surmounting the stairs. Blank turned his attention to the diminutive first-year as she spoke, before looking purposefully at the stairs—then back to Honey. He was bound at the ankles and wrists, which meant that his mobility was honestly close to zero but if that was what his rescuer commanded… “Aye-aye!” the masked captain said brightly. And, without an ounce of irony, Blank began to do his best penguin-walk up the stairs. Each step was torturously slow, his torso bobbling from left to right as he attempted to keep his balance. At this rate, he was never going to get to the top-deck. If Toto-chan was here, he would have just commanded Blank to transform, and that would have been… infinitely easier. It only took about eight laborious steps for the masked captain to nearly pitch forward and eat steel stairs on the way down. Blank caught himself on his forearms, panting and wheezing from the effort—whether or not he was genuinely exhausted, or just being his usual over-the-top self, was subject to debate. “Brave a-and totally unfamiliar *wheeze* rescuer,” Blank said theatrically, “I do not be-believe that it is—oh lord—against the rules for the fair captain to transform into a more—erm—portable form! Do you?”Another sigh, and he started to push himself to his feet. Lest the remark was to subtle, he insisted— “Please don’t make me climb these stairs in shackles.”As the large, masked Yasashi closed-in on the duo, proclaiming his approach with a most convincing villainous howl, Blank activated his Quirk. “Catch me, fair hero!” Blank insisted. Blank’s skin and clothes began to emanate a brilliant light, leaving a luminous silhouette in its wake. Once fully cloaked, it began to condense, pulsating as it retreated inwardly. Would it explode? It thinned, warbling, and finally when it seemed to reach the threshold—the light dissipated, leaving an ornate short-sword in its place. There were gold accents along the blade itself, and stones inlaid upon to hilt—appropriately elegant for a young woman. Whether the sword would fall into the squirrel-girl’s hands, or clatter artlessly to the stairs, was entirely up to the squirrel-girl herself. Whether Honey would use the sword, or simply lug it up the stairs, was also for her to determine. It certainly beat waiting for a fettered pro hero to penguin-walk his way up the stairs, though.
