Last week had been... something to think on. Mia didn't usually lose her cool to that level and even beyond that... something had happened. Her memory was a little foggy, a little blurred. The guy she'd been chasing had caused the ceiling to collapse on her and... the next thing she fully remembered after that was a huge mess. The whole warehouse had come crumbling down around her and the criminal she'd been chasing was...
Well, suffice to say, she was glad the law was a little lax on the damage you could deal to quirk powered criminals. If the guy hadn't had a quirk and she'd done that same kind of damage to him... she might not have a job anymore.
She remembered the sensation leading up to this, just this building, boiling rage under her skin. The transformation of her skin spreading further up her lins, toughening, tightening... felt like she was getting caged in her own body while also just feeling... so much more powerful. In the past, her skin turning Red like that was a signal she was pushing her body to it's limits, but lately it had just been happening more and more, even when she wasn't trying to push herself. And the redder she was... the less choice she felt she had in her actions.
Not confident enough in the officials of the hero association to test what was going on with her quirk, not exactly eager to lose her job over what might just be a temporary issue, she'd tried to get in touch with someone she trusted a little more, and of course sitll had the know how on how to deal with all this. Nimue. She'd tried helping the femme hero in the past regarding the whole arson case. She'd never found out what came of that but she thought it gave them a better connection than Mia had with most other heroes... ya know. Except Freya. But that girl weren't exactly gonna get a doctorate any time soon.
Over the call Mia would explain vaguely her worries, telling Nimue she'd tell her more in person. The most she managed to get out was she was worried something was going wrong with her quirk and she needed to get a professional opinion on if something was up with her... biologically or whatever. Nimue just told Red to drop by her lab one day. Yes... she could spare the time for that. Hopefully there wouldn't be anythingt too bad coming of this, but hey... could never be too sure till you had the eveidence in your hands could ya?
Making sure she got someone to cover her patrol route for a few hours, if not the day, Mia dropped by a day in the work week when she'd checked in with Nimue to see if she'd be free. She never really felt good in hospitals, walking through the corridors, that overly clean smell lingering in the air. Really she had nothing against the place, it was just she'd never had to go the hospital in her life. Her whole family had quirks that seemed to give them a pretty healthy biology to each of 'em, so she'd just... never had a problem worth coming to one of these places before.
Asking for a bit of guidance, she'd eventually find the lab, dipping her head low so she didn't bang her horn on the top of the doorway on the way in, cautiously knocking her knuckles against the door. "Ay Nimue... you in here?" SHe'd call cautiously, not wanting to intrude if she'd started working on an experiment or whatever it was she did here. She herself was dressed in some more casual clothes. A black shirt with a rock band logo on the front and back, and a flannell shirt hanging open over it, with some old, tattered jeans and boots covering up her lower half. Typical attire for the heroine ona day off.

You could compare her office to that of a broom closet in the big hospital, comparable to other offices, but she had not minded. She wasn't here all the time, but when Mia said she needed help and most likely on the medical front, she offered to come here. For privacy as well as for ease, Tokyo, after all, made it easier to meet up then being at Yuuei or so the doctor had reasoned with herself. She had arrived about thirty minutes before her meeting time with Mia simply to clean up and store away the information of their experiments and work as it was still not official to get it out and let it be published. The research factor of her current experiments had made her tired, afraid and so much more that she also rather would not talk about it, better not leave a trail that made people curious, that would come later. Besides, at the moment this was about Mia, so Nimue would want to put her full attention to her colleague and maybe even friend. She was so bad at making friends, so focused on her work and task and the loss she had suffered that she wasn't even sure if Mia was a friend. She would like to think so, the fact that Mia trusted her to ask her for help and that she herself had confided in Mia before made it all the better.
She really hoped it was something she could fix or help with for that matter, Mia had not shared a lot yet, considering it was better to do so in person and yes, Nimue would admit that it made her slightly nervous. "Yea come in." She called back, the moment Mia sorta knock her out of her daydreaming. Well here it was, hopefully she could return the favour. She would walk to the door quickly to open it for Mia. The space was maybe small but there must be enough room for two in it at least, she had worked here more often with three of them so even if Mia was tall, "Hi, I hope you had no trouble finding it?" She asked and showing off that she had a chair and well, should she offer Mia a drink or did she want to do her story immediately? Nimue let it hang in the air a bit because the invite to that could come still, she would just make sure that at least Mia was comfortable in the little office.

Smiling a little sheepishly, clearly looking a little out of place in the clean hospital with all it’s fine, delicate equipment. And here was Mia, a bulking behemoth of a person just strolling past worktops of fragile glass and machinery that could break at the slightest knock in the wrong direction. The phrase bull in a china shop was apt, only the difference being she was a very nervous bull who didn’t wanna live up to the stereotypes, flinching back away when she brushed her arm against a counter top, worrying she’d nearly been about to knock something to the floor but relieved to find she hadn’t brushed up on any of the equipment.
“Er… yeah. Wasn’t too hard. Just got to the right floor then asked a nurse where I was going.” She commented idly, rubbing at the back of her neck as her eyes drifted over the technical, clean space around her, certainly not wanitng to brush against anything she might actually have the capacity to break before finding a relatively open space in the small lab and offering a sheepish smile as she ran her fingers through the hair on the back of her own head.
“So er… yeah er…” She felt a little awkward bringing this up, she liked to consider Nimue a friend, even if they’d never hung out, and the fact of the matter was they’d just never really hung out, so calling on her for a favour like this, especially one so… ‘technical’, was a little more than weird. She felt like she should make small talk before they got ‘down to business’ so to speak, and so Mia asked a pretty pertinent question on her mind before she divulged her own issues, her eyes trailing around the lab around her. “sooooo… what had you move your work over here? UA not really cutting it for you career wise or you got some other plans in the works?”

When was the last time she met Mia? That was obviously during Shinagawa where they fought together and where they had their midnight dinner party. But before that, Mia had been the one to support Nimue in her fragile situation. She almost wondered what Mia would have said if she had called upon her during her sabbatical and how she felt horrible during that time. Mia would have come with good and direct advice, but alas Nimue had stayed away from everyone. Everyone but Giovanni and she had not even told him the truth so it was a weird situation. But this wasn't about her now, and Mia looked nervous. Which was why she thought back about the times they met. She should have put more of her equipment aside to make sure that Mia was more relaxed. It was expensive stuff and she should have thought about it before, so she did move a few things away while Mia went to get and sit down.
While quickly moving some more stuff to the other side of the room, she really hoped she didn't offend Mia with that. It was to make sure she was less nervous. She looked up to the other hero when she asked a question. "Oh, no, no I love Yuuei." She smiled, "I really like my job there, I took a sort of break after our Shinagawa adventures and came to study M.A.R.I.N.E. here." She gave a wry smile, yea that adventure wasn't so easy but hey it worked. They got M.A.R.I.N.E. and they got that witch arrested what more would a person want. Well, the arrest of the other people had been nice too but you can't have everything. "And it's still in development so I kept this little office to help in my spare time."

Mia held a mildly nervous smile as Nimue cleared up some space around her so she could feel a little more at ease. Between the horn and her general size she felt like a literal bull in a china shop so she appreciated the effort Nimue made to make her feel more comfortable, even if she felt oddly guilty that her friend even had to make the effort on her behalf to begin with, idly scratching at her cheek as she averted her gaze from the other woman, just letting them each take a moment to settle in and perhaps even catch up before getting… down to business, so to speak.
“Studying MARINE huh? Hope you ain’t onto the human testing phase… we saw what that shit could do afteral. Ehehe… “ She tried nervously to make a bit of a joke about that, a passing wonder in the back of her mind wondering if being around that stuff was what had set off her quirk’s sudden evolution but quickly dismissing the thought as she’d been too busy fighting Thunder and the Railgun to actually have been close to any of that shit, shaking the thought away even as she looked back up to her colleague Nimue. “Well you got a smart head on your shoulders and… hey if anything goes wrong your quirk should be able to… yeah.” She let out. Really she wanted to be supportive but this sciency shit was where people lost her. She didn’t even really have much of an idea as to what Nimue had been going through studying this.
“So… erm… “Wanting to push forward a little on her own issue, she rubbed a little nervously at the back of her neck, the large woman seeming oddly small as her nerves on the matter became a little more clear. “Speaking of er… weird quirk drugs… my own quirks not been the most. Stable. Lately. I was just erm… wondering if you could take a look at it? I’d ask one of the association doctors or whatever but… if there’s something wrong I don’t trust them to not just get me fired on the spot for being a liability or whatever.”

Nimue nodded, "I told them that too, but we lost one person in the process. It was like eating him from the inside." She shivered visibly and did not seem to be all too happy about it. Unfortunately to make a vaccine you needed to know what it did and if it worked and it had not gone well for that person. The others were saved on time and it was worth to pat someone on the back for that and yet it was not. She would scoff out loud if it was not embarrassing, but she nodded, she had probably managed if Nkosi would have understood, she had managed to relief the others of the pain. But it had gone so fast on the first person that she had just stood there frozen. She shivered for the second time. "I will save you from all the details, it was a lot of work for the three months that we worked on it and it's still far from perfect." But it was something when they were there and now it needed to be more perfect, it saved people from being outright killed by their own system. She put the things down that she had in her hand when Mia seemed to be nervous and she looked up at her friend.
She tilted her head a little to the side. She had not expected to ever see a nervous Mia, but the thing was that she also imagined there might be an issue at hand, considering the way Mia contacted her and she tried to radiance a calm atmosphere and a safe one. Mia should be able to share with her what she wanted. She was a bit surprised about the last thing Mia said but she was again not really surprised. "You are right, I will see what I can do." Hm, she had a few ideas and looked through her stuff here, needles but she needed the stronger ones, the ones they used in other research to get enough blood, they might be strong enough for a vein of Mia, hm... that was an assumption. "While I look for the instruments I need, could you tell me your quirk issues? I also assume normal needles and instruments don't work, so I need to see where I left the better ones." It was not exactly accurate to call the new ones better ones but for quirks and mutations that came from it, it was a fitting title.

“…R-right.” Mia was actually kind of stunned that there’d been some form of human testing and she really felt bad for the poor sap who’d had to go through that. Briefly she considered asking if it was a volunteer, or a criminal maybe, but she wondered if either answer would even make her feel better about the idea. She’d watched that chameleon guy swell up like a fucking balloon and burst at the scene so… imagining that happening to someone who might have known what they were getting into. The terror they might have felt… she shuddered a little herself. She didn’t gross out, or scare easily but… with her nerves so high strung that definitely got under her skin a bit. “Yeah erm. Maybe spare me those details… yeah.” She had a hefty gulp from the base of her throat, nervously rubbing the back of her neck as she tried to find her breath again, not wanting to make things anymore awkward than this trip might already be.
Nimue seemed happy enough to move things along though and Mia was a little thankful in turn as she gave a still somewhat nervous smile, already starting to roll up her sleeves, the loose canvas shirt making that more than easy, though she’d remove it to reveal the short sleeved shirt underneath if asked. “Yeah my issues… oh wait!” She quickly let out, realizing that Nimue must be looking for some heavy duty equipment. “Nah nah I’m good er… gimme a sec.”
Mia closed her eyes once she rolled her sleeves up, she rested one of her arms over a nearby counter, and started taking slow, deep breaths as she tensed and unclenched her fist in time with her breaths. Slowly, but surely, her beefy form seemed to almost be deflating. The brutish features of her face becoming honestly more feminine, bordering on ‘pretty’ almost, and the raging muscular figure of the beast turned to something far more slender but still quite clearly toned. Like a woman who took up body building rather than the roid monster Mia tended to be. “I… need a sec and… to be really calm to pull this off but I should be good… this is honestly how I used to look most of the time before her work became a full time gig.” She let out a light chuckle. Nimue may have seen her like this once before during the lead up to Shinagawa. They were in sooooo many meetings that Mia had basically been bored out to the point she took on her more deflated state. She was still just as tall, almost as broad, but her clothes hung off of her now to the point Mia had to adjust her belt a little. She didn’t plan on standing up soon, but an easy precaution to make.
“Yeah er… like this my skin ain’t so tough and you got less muscle to get through… should be easy to get whatever you need. Just gimme a count down or something so I don’t tense up or nuttin’. Don’t want a needle snapping midway huh?~” She held a smirk, trying to make a joke to lighten the mood… but ultimately she did have to talk about her issues, just easing slow breaths as Nimue did her work.
“So er… for a long time with my quirk, when I start hitting my limit my skin goes… Red. Like a deep red. It feels different where it happens too… more leathery. Kinda dry and really tough. It used to just mean I was hitting my limit, or pushing past it. Like if I needed one hell of a punch to get through an enemies attacks or something or… if I needed to roughen up to handle something they threw at me too. Lately though it’s… setting off when someone really gets me going. Whether it’s a drawn out fight or they just… get under my skin.” She rubbed idly at the side of her neck, a patch of her skin, while peach in color, was still dry and… kinda itchy from the last time she was set off. “That wouldn’t be too bad.. I mean I get tougher to handle a tough criminal but… I start to lose control. It used to just go Red where I needed it but… now it’s spreading. Like an infection or something. And the more my skin goes red the harder it is to calm down and…yeah…”
She let Nimue take that in… considering if she should be open about what happened when she went ‘full red’ with that criminal in the warehouse district.

Nimue tried to find her better needle set but she had no idea if she had them here now that she thought about it or simply left them at Yuuei, which made sense now that she had returned. Shoot, where was it. But she heard Mia say wait and she got up from crouching down the lower cabinets and looked up. Her face was surprised, wait for what? She looked at Mia as she explained she needed a moment and she stared at her when she noticed what was going on. That was strange, but highly fascinating and she took a step closer to see how it was happening. So her eyes had not betrayed her during Shinagawa meetings. She wasn't actively everywhere in that period, so she had not asked but right now, now she saw it seriously with her own eyes. "That is so fascinating, very interesting." She said and she took her normal equipment and nodded when Mia said she wanted a heads up. She let her talk first and indicated that she was going to get the blood samples. With everything on the cupboard on Nimue's left, she would swiftly fill three small tubes before she took the needle out and made sure to clean it and well close it. It was just small and her eyes lit up green and quickly fixed it.
She had listened to Mia's explanation but had not said anything yet as she was focused on getting the blood but also to muse over what to say about it. Her skin goes red, that was the first thing she had said, that could have to do something with a pigment. She wouldn't find that in her blood directly though, but maybe a little. It was maybe something to check later, she wasn't sure if the red skin was the issue, it could be a direct link to how to perhaps solve this though. She walked to her notepad and wrote it down again and mumbled to herself what Mia had said. Red. Leathery. She looked up, "Sorry I wanted to write it down." She looked at the blood samples as it needed to stand for a bit. "You call it like an infection, do you feel like you are losing yourself? Like you sort of become feverish too?" She asked with a little worry. She wondered about it, she wasn't sure what it could be and if that answer about her quirk was even to be found in her blood. But Nimue was going to try. They must find a way, maybe Mia should train to her maximum all the time to get used to it and gain control back. They must be able to install a form of a safety device, a safety mechanism. But that was more psychological and Nimue wasn't good with that but she could think about it, she could ask maybe Mosa and Hatsumomo as a sort of hypothesis, not dropping Mia's name but for now she would see if it was something medical they could find.

“hahhah!~” She let out a bellowing little chuckle and a shake of her head with a content little sigh as Nimue called her ‘whimping out’, as Mia had dubbed that little talent, fascinating. Really Mia didn’t think it was a cool thing, it was basically her… levelling out. Not turning her quirk off, she could never do that, but whatever her quirk even did to make her more muscular and more intimidating felt like it oozed out of her veins as she forced herself to relax. It almost felt unnatural though. Her normal beefy state was just how she was, energetic, ready to go at a moments notice… when she was whimped out she either had to force it or, like the shinagawa meetings… be very, very, VERY drained, more so mentally than physically. If only criminals knew her biggest weakness was being bored out of her mind… “Well that’s one thing to call it I guess… suppose this might be what I’d look like if I didn’t have a quirk huh?”
‘Possibly better than what happens when you get too much of your quirk-‘ Her brain would parrot back to her with some annoyance.
She’d take slow breaths as Nimue took vials of her blood. When she examined them late they’d seem pretty normal under most circumstances but… aggravating the blood cells would indeed provoke a reaction. The blood would generate some heat, mild but definitely abnormal for blood to do on it’s own, the cells becoming more aggravated, and seeming to produce growth and adrenaline hormones on their own.
Of course, that was for Nimue to find out later when she was running her tests.
As Mia explained her situation more personally, she waved off Nimue’s apology. “Hey you’re taking this seriously. I appreciate it. Don’t worry about takin’ notes or crap just… maybe er, make sure you don’t leave ‘em lying about for a co-worker to spot is all I ask. Ehehe…” She let out a nervous chuckle but… it was serious, her livelihood. Heck, her way of life itself was kind of on the line with how her quirk had been acting up. She knew she could trust Nimue but still her nerves left her feeling tense. Slowly her muscles were returning to normal size, and Mia was mildly stretching out her top again under her loose shirt as she settled back to normal, hissing a little when her re-growing tusks boked her top lip. “Shit forgot they do that…”
At the question of what it felt like… “I dunno… its hard to tell. My horn grows further so I can’t tell if I’ve got a fever or the pressure of it growing is just bugging me or I’m actually heating up… I think from what I remember my skin definitely gets hot though. Less like a fever but… yeah.” She felt a bit useless here… she knew shit happened to her but the one time she’d let it go all the way she’d practically blacked out. She was watching herself rage out like a passanger in her own head. “Sorry I… I’m not much use her am I?”
Mia hung her head, rubbing the back of her neck… the one thing she could always trust to get the job done. Her own body… and she couldn’t even manage to figure out the fuck was wrong with her.

She had to apologize, her sort of nerdy side came up when listening to Mia and writing down what she told her. She looked up when she continued to write and Mia asked her to not leave her notes around. "Oh, no I will not. Working at Yuuei taught me already that I bring either everything with me or lock it up and bring the key with me." She turned the notepad around so it leaned on her chest, "I also didn't write your name on it." She said with a wink. Though if these incidents happened more often, people might start to understand her notes quicker, however, she planned to bring these along. This was a study in her own time so to say and the hospital let her, that's how she figured out the needles and bandaid so this would be the same. Still, the switching on and off of her quirk so to say, as it wasn't really switching it off, it was fascinating and she looked again at the vials of blood, she hoped to research that rather soon.
"I won't call you useless either." She smiled to Mia, hoping to make her feel more okay here. She wrote down no fever but still hot. Hm, so what could it be, "Is it when you overexert yourself or do you have other ideas for when it starts?" She would still need Mia for a few questions, she could do the research mostly by herself but she needed to see if she could activate that sort of rage while the blood cells were just calm. If it was already something in her blood system. That was another question. She realized this on time and went to get a swab and ask Mia to get some of her saliva on it, by moving it in her cheek. She should try the DNA thing, though she wasn't really good at that, she was better with fixing and looking at blood.
She would scribble a few things down before putting her hands on her hips. "I think I have everything to start the research, do you have something that you think is important to mention?" Sometimes people did have a feeling about that and would say something, Nimue starting out of the blue had a difficult moment to put everything together, but she would be able to contact Mia if she had more questions, so that was something. This would be a start for sure.

Mia definitely smiled when the notes were presented to her. For a sec she didn’t know what she was meant to be looking at, but being told her name wasn’t even on them was definitely a relief. Of course if they ever leaned towards ‘super strong quirker with rage problems’ she doubted it’d take long for people to connect the dots… luckily even then Nimue put her at ease, the Oni heroine nodding slowly as she rubbed deeply into the back of her neck. “I really appreciate it. Truly. I… know I’m putting a bit on your plate here. Especially when you’re already so busy.” She took a slow breath and exhaled just as slowly. She kinda just felt… defeated. By this whole thing. Even on the path to getting it sorted potentially, with someone she trusted to handle it discretely… it wasn’t a pleasant sensation knowing you weren’t fully in control of your own body. No matter what steps you might be taking to correct it. Mia’s body had always been one of the few things she could always trust to pull through. It was a dumb mentality but… there was never a problem she couldn’t fix with her strength on some level and now… now her strength was the problem itself.
“Hm? Oh er-“ Caught from her self defeating thoughts by the next question, she thought for a second and shook her head. “It used to be just over-exerting but lately it’s been more… rage induced. I guess.” She let out a weak scoff at herself and shook her head more slowly. “Like, it used to just be a sign I was hitting my limits, I’d go red in my arm when I pushed my limits on a punch, but now… if I can’t calm myself down it stays there and it spreads further. Or heck if a bad guy just pisses me off anyway I can feel it start to form somewhere on my skin, even when I don’t need to push myself at all. The angrier I get the harder it is to calm down.. pretty nasty cycle really. Eheh…” She let out another defeated little laugh, not really sure what else to say there. It wasn’t a pleasant situation, no sugar coating it.
When asked for a swap Mia would open her mouth and take a long, slow breath while it was still agape. Her muscles that had been returning calmed down a bit again, and more notably her tusks, about double the size of the rest of her teeth, shrank down a bit, receding into her jaw to make it easier for Nimue to swap about without getting a spikey tusk poking her hand. She’d make a few lip smacking sounds when she was done, flicking her tongue against the now dry inside of her cheek. It wasn’t something she hadn’t had before, they were a natural part of some check ups she had when becoming a pro hero in Japan, didn’t mean she found it pleasant though.
When asked if there was anything else Mia wanted to mention, she couldn’t think of much but… as she rose up out of her seat, fixing her shirt sleeves, she’d tip her eyes back in thought before looking back to Nimue. “Not… to do with my tests but…” She’d rest her hands in her pockets, another heavy breath. “Just… look out for me, if something happens aye? I mean, you’re about to know more about my quirk than even I do likely so… if it erm… if it becomes an issue, I’m just… trusting you to make sure I don’t become a BIG issue… okay?”

Nimue understood with both her jobs and especially this specific case that the vagueness of her noses could save issues, in case some of her medical people became too curious. She presented her vague notes to Mia, they missed her name on it and the information she had given to her was just written down in bulletins, of course they could temper with the blood and saliva she got but she would bring everything home when she was going away from here. "It might be bringing more on my plate, but you are my friend and I care about you and if this makes you worry and I can do something for you, than I will do so, no matter how busy. Don't worry about it, Mia." She had a very serious expression on her face, this was not something you joke about and besides, she meant it anyway. She would have to make sure this was all going well and she would try to find something as good as she can. She decided therefore also to make sure Mia didn't make her thoughts worse about herself, it wasn't her fault. If it was, it would have been easily switched on and off. She did not want Mia to punish herself for something she had not in her own hands, besides she was trying to find a solution.
She walked back to her notepad and wrote down what Mia said now, that might be important. She nodded, okay, "Any suggestions or ideas how you calm down the fastest?" It might be something that she used before but needed to be used in the extreme now and she wrote a few things down on a new piece of paper that she wanted to test. She would get the swab and smiled again at her friend for her thoughtful way of helping her and she would put everything aside and wrote a few more notes and asked if she had something that she would mention still. She looked up when the answer was not about the tests but about something else, which made her frown a little. It surprised her with what Mia said next. The reason why Nimue was worried was also by Mia's attitude, she could not imagine the fellow pro-hero to be so down. It did not feel like Mia at all but that only showed how serious she took it. She blinked rapidly in surprise as well when Mia said it and she nodded a little. "Yes, of course." She seriously hoped that she would find a solution and this would not be an issue but what if it would become an issue. "I will always be there." Maybe not at the direct second, but she would come there, do whatever she could to help Mia. "We will find a solution Mia, it will be okay." She decided to say, it felt very important to say at this moment. She thought that at the moment she would just go and research with the instruments and the blood and dna she got. "I will call you if I have more questions or if I find something, okay?"

Nimue’s reassurance on both fronts was just… nice. Not really any other way she could easily put it. She felt calmed and put at ease, a slow breath flowing through her and a quiet nod to confirm her words. “Yeah. Thanks…” It still wasn’t a pleasant thing to think about, putting this one nImue’s shoulders cause she couldn’t handle it on her own. Mia wasn’t opposed to relying on other necessarily, but usually she managed to pull her own weight as part of the deal. Having something she just couldn’t even play a part in really resolving was… defeating, to say the least. Still, before she left, she’d take a deep breath and try to hold her head high.
“For calming down I… have a few solutions, but nothing that I can easily pull off mid-fight, but I’ll keep an eye on myself. If things are taking a turn I’ll pull back and wait for another hero to get on the scene. Least, when that’s an option ya know…” She tried for a bit of dark humor but it probably didn’t come off the best in the current atmosphere, Mia turning to leave. “Anyway… you have work to get to, for me or for your own stuff so… good luck aye? I’ll see ya around.” She pulled a hand up, making a phone sign next to her head. “And call me too if you need anything else from me aye?”

She gave a smile to Mia, glad though that her friend and colleagued dared to ask her for advice or more specific help. She nodded and would think it was best to turn to work and just hope to find something for Mia. She should have maybe asked more in detail what the solutions were for Mia to calm down but she had no idea how fast she would need that. "Oh Mia," She called out before her friend would have left the office and she managed to get the little business card out of her bag. "There is a researcher about quirks, she might have other information than I do, in case you want to try that out, it might be worth your time." Especially if it was within the quirk and not within her DNA or blood that Nimue could find. It was the least she could do to refer her to someone else. Here was hoping that Mia dared to open up to someone else about it too. "You don't have to of course, but it might come in handy." She smiled and would say goodbye to Mia now and say that she would call indeed if there were some questions or if she had found something.
When Mia left, she would immediately jump into action by following her notes and ideas, documenting everything for herself.
