APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Prism is very petite and colorful girl, with beautifully and vibrant scales adorning her body in almost every location. These vibrant scales adorning her sides and back, while her pale and more human-like skin is very untouched except for a few scales on her face and front part of her body. Her six foot tail, vibrant with the same scales adorning her body with some purple that stick out, being another huge factor in her appearance. Another unique thing about her appearance is her eyes, being abnormally big and reptilian like with very vibrant and unusual colors adorning them. Her tounge is also another weird thing related to her mutated appearance, reaching an astounding ten feet. Regarding her clothing, however, it is very minimalistic and she shows skin quite freely due to her upbringing. Wearing very tribal clothing in comparison to the normal urban clothing you'd find in modern day japan.

Personality:
Prism Laverna is a very naïve girl, unaware of the selfish and lying nature of other people around her. Very rarely will she disbelieve what others say, unless it is truly a ridiculous claim. This formed from her very sheltered life within her village, exposing her to very little of the outside world due to lack of internet and only around the townsmen she lived with. However, this is a big reason for her curious nature about the 'outside' world. Exploring and questioning all around, with her upbeat and friendly nature. However, amidst of city life, she can be considered quite awkward fellow being she has no common sense or street sense in this environment, it is a completely different world for her compared to her rural life. Many would consider her eccentric and odd. Though, this doesn't stop her one bit from participating within her new society. Though she tries to make all of the people around her happy, one thing she never learned to do was lie being almost problematically honest and in turn brutally blunt; she is not the type to sugar coat if you look really bad today or speak what is on her mind even if it would be obviously upsetting. Quite the double edged sword, in terms of personality trait.

HISTORY
Prism Laverna was born on February twenty-fifth, in the Pemba island of Tanzania. In Pemba island, Prism grew up most of her life in Konde, a small town of a couple of thousand nearby the Ngezi Forest. Prism grew up roughly, in the tattered and poor village, a lot of her clothing being hand-sewed by her mother while most of the funds that her father could acquire either went into food or savings. However, on the Brightside of things, she was the little flower of her town; everyone knew the friendly little chameleon. Though, she did have a reputation of being a troublemaker, often running away from the town to explore the nearby forests and even in occasions playing in Ngezi forest.
However, life was not easy for prism often going hungry for days at a time, sometimes even eating bugs that she saw around her adventures to substitute the lack of nutrition that she was receiving. Education as well was scarce, proper education being a luxury and the public school with a few hundred students having very primary lessons, far behind the rest of the world in terms of performance. The more luxurious education being limited to a handful of citizens that managed to pay a lump some from a tutor with education from mainland, which would still be considered behind in terms of the global standard. In terms of prosperity, there was very little, but prism and her parents made it work.
Though, luck struck and shined through opportunity, when the world craze for heroes were becoming a normalized thing. Big name schools were popping up one after another, the 'change' to the way quirks being perceived so massive that even the small town of Konde heard of the gossip when the traders from the mainland came and chit-chat between shop owners and the traders happened. One of those names being U.A high school.
While prism was only thirteen when these schools opened up, her parents quickly acted in hopes to better the life of prism from being stuffed in the village for the rest of her life like they had and their parents before them. With the savings that her father managed to secure over multiple years quickly vanished, moving towards the great rising sun; japan.
Arriving to japan was a culture shock and still is in comparison to the aspects that she grew up in, so much so she had a hard time getting used of the big cities and large population of people; it fascinated her immensely. Not only did the culture shock her, but the architecture was vastly different the single room housing they had smaller but a lot more sturdier then whatever she had seen before. Cars, busses, and other which things seemed almost futuristic. Even now, those things still amaze her and peek her curiosity.
Soon enough, she enrolled in a normal junior high school, falling behind with her subpar education that she had received in her town. Her language very minimal, causing that gap to feel even more massive like a canyon. However, that did not stop the young chameleon from studying more intensively then any other student in her class to just barely achieve the bare minimal passing marks; it was hard. The strains on funds becoming even more apparent, to the point where even her own mother was starting to work factory jobs with her father to get the bills paid. However, these hardships, not in vain with the acceptance letter to U.A arriving to their mailbox.
