It's been a while since Berker has came to Tokyo, but he still didnt memorized all the places that exists in this big city. Kabukicho was one of them. He did heard this place was "red-light" district so he thought it'd be pretty empty with hookers left and right but he never was this wrong in his entire life. "What the hell is that?!" was his first thoughts as he stepped into this city in a city. Restaurants, bars... they were everywhere! Streets were so busy you'd hit someone if you didnt walk careful for a second. "I would've come here before if i knew it..." now he's here he wanted to try some of those restaurants. Although the idea was good, sadly he didnt had much money with him as his parents stopped sending him money. He had to be careful about his expenses. Because of that he put the idea of eating to another time and continue looking around to memorize this place. "When one day, i became hero, i have to protect this people and this places." This was the reason he was trying to memorize everywhere. He didnt wanted to get lost while chasing a villain or something. "I'd die from shame if that's happened" he thought to himself as he slowly walked in the busy streets of Kabukicho.
While walking he realized some people were looking at his jacket which had U.A logo on it. Normally he'd not wear his school wear to outside but weather was so cold he had to wear whatever he could find. It wasnt that eyes on him bothered him, the problem was not knowing what they're thinking. It was like painting a big red target to yourself for villains and criminals. To make things worse he didnt bring his Staff with him thinking that it was against the rules to fight anyway. "Sometimes you're really dumb arent you Berker?" he thought to himself as he suddenly realized how defenseless he is right now. He knew Hero life was tough but... this was the first time he actually sensed it. While walking with this thoughts in his mind he suddenly heard a piercing scream. Standing in his place he looked around in pure shock and surprise. Everyone just kept walking as nothing happened. "Did they not hear? Or do they simply not care?" after staying at his place to check if he heard correct he did hear another scream for help coming from one of the back streets. Help or ignore. Go or stay. The second this thoughts came to his mind it was already too late. His body moved even before he could realize what's going on. Not because he wanted to be hero so badly but he simply couldnt ignore the cries of someone in pain like that.
Entering the dark street he saw a young person holding a woman in close range and shaking her violently he yelled "Stop screaming and let go that goddamn bag!" Without his staff Berker wouldn't be able to fight as he never learned how to fight hand-to-hand combat. "Glad to realize that NOW!" he thought as he cursed himself. He couldnt fight and he couldnt let that guy harass that poor woman. Berker decided to bluff his way through. "So uncivilised" he yell at the mugger. He was sure once he saw his jacket with U.A emblem on it he'd get the idea who Berker was. He was hoping when that happens mugger would just leave scared. "Mugging a helpless person? How less of a human being you can be?" he yelled as he walk toward the criminal. He was making sure he was getting all the attention so mugger would let that woman go. Also he was making sure his voice was loud so someone else could hear them. As he walked toward mugger, criminal also let woman go and started walking towards Berker. "Got lost Kid? Let me show you the way so you can leave your valuables as a thank you gift."
Berker stopped on his track to see what would mugger would do. "He is not afraid of me being at U.A? The hell dude?! Do you also have Quirk or something?!" he thougth as he get ready for any action, taking his guard. If he were to attack, Berker would transform to his monkey form and defend himself. He hope atleast his transformation would scare him but if it didnt he was totally helpless.
"Please someone help... I know i came here to help... But now i need that help!" he thought as he was ready for any kind of confrontation.

Mia was on one of her usual patrol routes, her immense strength letting her traverse the rooftops with ease and leaving her to use them as her perch points. She didn’t have to move out of this area of the town for a while, taking a deep breath as she leg one of her legs dangle over the edge of the roof she was using as her seat, hooking a hand around her other ankle and keeping it on the roof, her bulky frame in a relaxed state as she took slow breaths and just… let her eyes drift.
Even with probably over half the people in the world now having super powers every day wasn’t full to the brim with crime a pro hero was needed for. Sure there were noise complaints, domestic spats, typically not involving quirks, but it definitely wasn’t something that she needed to be called in for though… once Heroes really started hitting their stride though? The criminals with quirks quietened down. Afterall, the villains hadn’t really ever had a ‘big win’. They existed for sure… but no big event to inspire confidence in their numbers. The heroes always tended to win out.
That didn’t stop some idiots though.
Hearing a scream just barely over the hustle and bussle of the normal street motions, Mia perked up to her feet, kicking up to her full height in an instance. She needed a second or two to pinpoint where she’d heard the sound from before kicking off her current perch, using the rooftops like stepping stones with leaps and bounds between them, needing a moment to see across everything around her. She managed to track it down eventually… and came across something interesting in turn. As she peered down into the mess that she was aiming to stop, a quick read made some things clear… she crouched down low, not a big bold ‘hero is here’ stance in the distance as she briefly kept an eye on thing. A UA jacket, a mugging… she’d get a feel of how this was playing out for a second.

As two faced each other, they both stopped after taking few steps towards each other. Woman was still staying at her ground, crouched, shaking from the shock of getting mugged. Berker was also shaking but not from fear or anything like that. It was adrenalin rushing all over his body. Berker's best ability was to stay cool headed in most situations. Even in this situation he could clearly see and read everything happening in front of him. Only time to this day he lost his cool was when someone named Jenkins Leroy started yelling his own name and rush to the boss in the game they were playing.
Seeing how mugger stopped at distance Berker thought it could mean two things. "Either he's bluffing just like me, or he do have Quirk but just assessing the situation. But why he didnt use his Quirk to mug her from the start?" This idea made Berker relax a bit. If this was the case he had nothing to worry about. He could simply continue his bluff and save the girl. While he was in this thoughts man standing right in front of him called out to him "You think you, not a hero but a simple student, can come to this place and act like you're a hero? Shall i be afraid just because a kid like you have Quirk? " He did have a point. Not only Berker was a mere student but fighting was also extremely dangerous for him. His family send him here to get rid of him. If he were to get expelled there would be nowhere for him to go. But he also couldnt just let this terrible act happen in front of his eyes. "We both know your limits kid, dont push your luck." he said as he put his hand in his jacket, signaling something is there. Berker was getting more relaxed as he realized man doesnt even care about the woman anymore.
"Truly..." Berker said. "I do have my limits as i'm not a hero yet." he took his jacket off as he said that. Lying his jacket to relavitely clean place he continued. "That's why i'll do what i have to, and then accept the punishment i deserve." So what if he did get expelled? What if people wanted to get rid of him? Was it more important then losing yourself in the face of evil? He hated injustice, he hated those people who think they knew better. The guy standing right in front of him without a doubt one of those people. "Not as a hero, but as a decent human being... As myself... I shall bring destruction upon evil..." he muttered to himself. Seeing Berker acting weird mugger pulled out the knife he was hiding in his jacket's pocket. "They said cornered animal is the most dangerous one, as they'll fight to save their life." Berker just realized how true that saying was. He had to fight to be true to himself and save that woman while mugger had to fight to save himself. Both of them were trapped in this imaginary ring without a chance to escape. Berker understanding the situation signaled woman to run. As mugger's whole attention was at Berker he didnt even cared as woman started running away as fast as possible.
Mugger without waiting for another second started walking towards Berker. "It's your lost kid. I warned you enough!" as Berker saw his opponent coming onto him he just asked for a quick break "Wait wait wait... Let me just get that t-shirt out of the way." but the mugger didnt stop. On the contrary he started rushing towards Berker. "Oh for God's sake..." there was no time to take his shirt off. "I'm sorry, you'll be missed..." Berker said his farewells to his t-shirt as his transformation would tear it apart. He was sure there was no one in this godforsaken backstreet so breaking one more rule should be fine. Taking his guard up he too started moving toward mugger. Once he was close enough he'd transform into his monkey form and swing his right fist targeting his chin.

“Oi vey…” Mia smirked a little to herself as she rested on her perch not too far away, her slightly pointed ears just barely able to pick up some of the speech this kid was giving. She was never usually one for the big dramatic talks before picking a fight but she had to give the kid some props for even trying to back up his words. From what she could see he was more than ready to throw himself into a fight here and that just left Mia all the more impressed by his character alone. She’d jump in if things got too serious but she wanted to get a small bite of what the kid was made of before she rushed in to save his ass from expulsion. With so many cameras in people’s hands these days it was unlikely he’d get away with using his quirk even in some back alley afterall.
As the seconds ticked by however it seemed this crook wasn’t being intimidated by his bravado or his speech and… well who could blame him on the latter one it was a very ‘comic booky’ approach, but Mia wasn’t about to hold that against the kid. A lot of young students tended to be a bit more idealistic in their approach like this. Rolling her shoulders back as the two parties began to rush to eachother, the blonde Oni rose to her full height and took a few steps back… before breaking off into a sprint towards the edge of her perch on the roof across the street, bounding across the distance in a single leap and still holding a lot of potential air time to boot.
“HEY! Goon lookin’ mother fucker!~”
It was a hard dip to go from the idealistic speech making of the young student to the rather cras Oni that was flying overhead. Despite her size she showed an odd sense of grace pivoting herself as she flew over the heads of the two, landing between the goon and the victim he’d been handling a moment ago. The woman’s weight was clear the moment she landed, dust shook off the walls of the alleyway and the ground briefly trembled as criminal and student were likely forced to stop and watch as the Pro Hero arrived on the scene, raising her fists with a wild grin, her smooth Red horn gleaming briefly from the sun creeping between the buildings as she rose up her head.
“Ya know mate, an eager young hero to your front, a pro like me to your back? I ain’t likin’ your odds here…~”

He thought it was about time to smash some bones, get kicked out from school, and begin his new life at slums. But seems like life had other plans for him. While he was rushing suddenly "something" fell out of the sky causing a big tremor. Both Berker and mugger had to stop on their track and balance themselves so they wont fall down as everything just shook thanks to that... person? What could even cause something like that? Their answers were answered soon while they were looking at the source of the tremor. As dust settled a woman with a red horn stood there, both of them know who she was instantly. Berker saw her face online few times and he was sure criminal looking at her with widened eyes knew her even better then he did. Who'd have thought he'd meet someone like her here in this place. "A surprise for sure... but a welcome one" he thought as he looked with surprised eyes. He knew she was tall and muscular but damn seeing her from close was a totally different experience. He was sure she'd be scary but that wasnt the case? Well she was probably scary for the villains and criminals but there was some different aura about her. Probably because of the contrast between her title and her actual self. Berker would call her a beautiful one which he didn't expected from number 1 hero. He expected something scary like King Yama the Judge sitting at Hell.. Well, anyway her arrival was great news for Berker.
Well... That was it, Berker didn't have to do much thanks to timely arrival of Red Horn. Also it looked like mugger understood what kind of situation he's in, throwing his knife and he just raised his hand. Berker slightly bow to Red Horn, normally he'd bow in 90 degree to show his full respect but he didnt wanted to let criminal leave his sight. You could not trust others like that. Especially when you just tried to beat each other. "Thank you for your help miss Red Horn" after straightening himself Berker continued "...Now what do we do with this mess?"

Mia pushed her fist into her other palm, deeply popping her knuckles as she got ready for a fight with this goon who’d been brave enough to go up against a UA student and think he had a chance, but just as she began to close the distance between them he seemed to… “Ah shit really? Surrendering so soon? Aaah… well I can’t fault your brains at this point I’ll give you that much…” Her hand sinking into a tactical pocket in her hero costume, Mia retrieved some heavy duty zip ties. She’d carry handcuffs but these things were a lot easier to carry en-masse and she could take down a lot of criminals every day. If it was someone she thought could escape the zip ties then… well odds are handcuffs wouldn’t have been any better either. “Come on let’s… wrap you up nice and tight for the cops.”
Looking over to the UA kid Mia offered a light smile as she ducked down beside the criminal, grabbing his shoulder and forcing him down to his knees, pulling his arms back to wrap up in the zip ties as she spoke. “Well personally I know I need to stay here till someone picks him up…” She’d glance back over her shoulder, then to the UA kid, gesturing back to the woman who’d nearly been mugged. “Mind checkin’ how she’s doing while I make sure this guy’s zipped up tight?” Of course she knew that a fresh UA kid wouldn’t have much experience dealing with civilains after a crime like this, but people skills were one of the areas Mia tended to… falter in, thanks to her background as a vigilante and also her general temperament. Standing back up she’d yank the guy to his feet too and keep a hand firmly locked into one of his forearms.

Berker watched Red Horn as she handcuffed the guy. She looked a little bit disappointed from missing a fight but Berker was actually pretty happy about that. Even if they fight it'd probably be over in an instant anyway. When Red Horn said to go look at woman he didn't disagree.
Woman was supposed to run away but seeing someone like Red Horn drop from sky and create such a tremor, even the victim stayed still with surprised eyes. She was sitting down at the ground, shaking. Probably her legs stopped working from all the stress. It wasn't easy, getting attacked like that in some background alley... "poor woman..." Berker thought as he slowly approached and talked to the lady. "Miss, Are you okay? Shall i call an ambulance?" He was thinking about calling for ambulance anyway but he wanted to make sure she was alright and could talk right now. It didn't look like she had any physical injuries from here. Probably all the injuries of her was psychical... "I-I'm... okay.. Thank you..." woman said as she looked at Red Horn without averting her eyes. It was truly a sight to behold. No.1 hero coming to your rescue in a huge city like that. She was truly lucky... If you could call this series of events lucky. "I do advise for you to go to hospital miss, for any unseen injuries..." but woman declined saying she was just stressed and should be fine in few minutes. Once police was here they probably would make sure she get her treatment anyway so Berker didn't wanted to create more fuss. All he wanted to do was just getting her relaxed. "It's okay now miss, so please take deep breaths and relax." Berker smiled.
After making sure the victim was okay, after taking his jacket and wearing it Berker turned to Red Horn once again. "She seems fine, just stressed." he said and continued "Is it safe for me to wait for police with you? Would that cause trouble for me?" he wasn't sure how things supposed to work out from here on. He never get into this kind of situation before, and he really didn't paid any attention about what he shall do in this kind of situation. Did they even tell hem about this kind of things at school? He wasn't sure. Even if they did he totally didn't listened. That's why he was hoping she could help him. He just hoped he wasnt looking like a clueless kid to her. Even though he totally was clueless.

Mia made sure that she pulled the goon off to the side and gave him a once over. He didn’t seem to have any obvious tells that said he had a quirk. No enlarged muscles, different colored skin or abnormal growths. He could have one of those quirks that didn’t display itself outwardly or something but that was hard to say on the spot. Regardless in this world it was best to keep an eye on him, and so Mia continued to hold one of her hands firmly on the guy’s shoulder, making sure he didn’t move away from them in an attempt to escape or the like.
“Don’t even know what the fuckin’ problem is. Was just a purse. Shouldn’t you be breaking up a drug ring or something ya 2 tonne bi-GAGH!” The goon yelled out in pain as Mia firmly squeezed her hand against his shoulder, making sure to dig in her fingertips right at the joint where his arm met his shoulder, threatening to dislocate the two from eachother if given enough force.
“How about you hush up and just wait for the police to get here ay?” He quickly turned quiet, if still a bit grumbly. Mia lifted her free hand to her ear, pressing on an earpiece and tapping into the local police radio signals, making sure they were aware she was in need of a criminal pick up and that they still had a civilian on the scene. Once she was sure somone would be coming in a minute or so, she finally turned her eyes back to the UA student she’d found on the scene, offering him a warm smile, showing a small hint of pride in her expression despite meeting him for the first time.
“Yeah you can wait. Don’t worry. I’m pretty sure he knows to stay still.” She gave another light squeeze of her hand, not enough to hurt this time, but the sheer addition of pressure clearly made the guy flinch expecting something worse, glaring at the heroine who just gave a borderline cheeky grin back before turning her eyes to the UA kid again. “Gotta ask… where you seriously ready to use your quirk their kid? Ain’t often I see people willing to risk it all to play hero but..” She gestured over him. “Guess I shouldn’t expect any less from the UA colors huh? You’re all heroes in training afterall”

Berker looked to the once proud criminal as he yelled in pain when Mia literally squashed his shoulder. Even though Berker shall despise him for what he was doing, he still felt a little sorry for the guy. The pain and the feeling of despair must be too heavy. But for some reason as Berker thought this he was smiling... How interesting it was, all it took was just a simple move she did... Could he even became like that? he wondered as he looked at her. She was truly admirable. When she smiled at him he couldn't help but smile back at her. There was no reason for this, he just couldn't help his muscles once he saw her smile.
As she said it's fine for him to stay, Berker realized he was anxious for nothing. While he had to learn how to handle this situations better, it was his first time so he was still feeling proud of how he did things until Red Horn asked if he was serious about using his quirk. "Wait... how did she know that?" he thought as he listened her. "Was she watching me? for what?... right timing?" this was probably the right answer. He didnt know why she waited and watch but if it was her, surely she'd have acceptable reason. He didn't think about it more for this reason. But was the reason he did that was truly because he was a student at that school? He wondered.
"I was..." he said looking at her eyes. "There are many people who'd disagree and say -you are hero, you shall follow the law!- but if i let crime happen because of some law, forget about being hero, how could i call myself a decent human? What differs heroes from vigilantes is accountability. And i am determined to accept my punishment for every law i break." He did not understand the idea of heroes being ruled by law, it just gave loophole to exploit for criminals. Heroes shall follow the rule, but they also have to break it for the greater good. Otherwise they would not be able save everyone, there would be casualties. Which he could not allow. He was not so high and mighty to declare he would save everyone. He was not that passionate. He could just save people in front of him. He could only ease the cries he could hear... And that was enough... That was enough for now. "Gonna scold me?" he smiled at her as he said that.

Mia made sure to keep a firm hand on the shoulder of the goon, not about to let him bolt even if she was sure he wouldn’t get far. She still curiously wondered in the back of her head if he had a quirk or not but she’d learned not to take her chances unless she wanted to suddenly eat a face full of acid spit or some other nasty surprise. Still, with a firm hand adding some light pressure to his tender shoulder Mia had the confidence to offer the young UA kid some of her attention, greeting him with a warm smile and wondering what it was going through his head as they spoke. She noticed he seemed to have gotten a little confused when she mentioned seeing what he was about to do, scoffing a little. She didn’t feel bad about the fact she’d been watching. No harm had befell the kid or the civilian, and it let her get a good idea of what the kid was like before they’d even exchanged words.
She’d listen to his little… speech. A part of hero ideology she never really agreed with even if it had been admittedly growing on her a bit. She was never a creature of like, long winded speeches or big reasons for doing what she was doing. She took down the bad guys cause it was a fun career for her, and why would she wanna waste time doing anything else? Still, kid had a good head on his shoulders. Seemed to respect the rules but his morals pushed past them when they needed to. She could respect a kid like that, willing to listen to his heart for the betterment of others…
Yeesh. Maybe those speeches were rubbing off on her…
Either way, point was that the kid soon asked if she was gonna scold him, and she let out a hearty laugh. “HAHAHAH!” She pounded her chest lightly (relatively speaking) to calm down her chuckles, shaking her head as he seemed to be smiling at the question, leading to her assuming he already knew he wasn’t in trouble. “HELL no! I mean come on kid I was a vigilante myself before this whole pro hero thing. Just don’t make a habit of it and I’m more than happy to cover your ass!~”
“I’m not…” The goon grumbled, suddenly yelping as Mia squeezed deep into his shoulder joint again as she smirked.
“Yeeeeeah but who’s gonna believe the spiteful little criminal who couldn’t get away with it ay?~”

Oh, she was vigilante before? Berker didn't know that. Either he didn't see on internet, or just completely missed it. How could you even miss something like that? He didn't know. Not like it matters anyway, but he'd choose his words about vigilantes more carefully if he knew before. Thankfully Red Horn didn't say anything about that.
Berker watched Red Horn laugh as he smiled at her. "Sure sure... I'm not planning to make it habit anyway." this kind of situations was not good for his health. As he said that Berker heard mugger spoke and Red Horn followed with more pressure. After that quick exchange Berker remembered that poor lady was also a problem. What if she told police about this incident? That surely would be a problem. Turning back to civilian Berker said "I'm sure miss also would not make trouble for this handsome little brother, right?" he smiled. After poor woman heard about what he said even she laughed a little bit. "Sure, i'll keep it secret for my "handsome little brother"". What a nice lady she was. Berker simply said "Thank you" as he laughed at how lady stressed little brother part. While they were having fun(?!) suddenly police sirens could be heard. "They must be pretty close." Berker said as he turned to Red Horn. "Seems like our time together coming to an end." he didn't know what to say and how to deal with police so he'd simple leave it to Red Horn and follow her example.

Not knowing Mia used to be a vigilante wasn’t a hard thing to do. She was only a vigilante back in America so that part of her ‘history’ wasn’t exactly easily known in Japan itself. Sometimes a new station might refer to her as an ex vigilante, but it was rare. The hero association wanted to give out the idea it was the crème de la crème of heroes afterall that they’d chosen for their first wave of crime fighters, so her vigilante-ism wasn’t exactly ‘advertised’. Afterall it’d also potentially validate people who still did vigilante work, which the government was hardly gonna be in favour of.
Still, seemed the kid felt reassured which was more than enough for the blonde beast, who offered a warm smile in turn to the kid as he said he wasn’t gonna make a habit of it. “Yeeeah. Save it till you pass the third year. After that you’ll be kicking nearly as much ass as me.” She’d tease back with a pleasant grin, generally enjoying the energy this kid put off and rising back to a full stand rather than leaning on the wall as she too heard the sirens off in the distance, glancing back to the civilian and the UA student with her, scoffing a little as they joked about not revealing his actions today.
“Yeah seems like it… you’re free to stick around if you want but might be best you get a move on. You though-“ She pointed to the civilian. “Gonna need you to stick around and make a statement if yer okay with that…” She did hate forcing the civilians to stick around but.. was part of the job, getting a clear picture of things for the reports at the end of the day. Back to the UA kid, she’d offer her free hand. “I’ll see if I can drop by UA and find you sometime. Real name’s Mia. How about you kid?” She’d ask, wanting to make sure she knew who she was gonna be asking around for if she did track him down.

Ehh... Once he heard Red Horn he realized. He's really gonna have to deal with this situations all the time once he graduate... He never thought about thing that will happen in the future. "What a pain..." he thought. It was a part of being hero though, if he had to save people he'd of course do it. At least he would not have to worry about getting kicked out of school or something like that. Just beat them send them. Now thinking it like that... He could get used to it.
After Red Horn said he better get moving he agreed, there was no reason to put himself to spotlight any more then he need. His existence here would just create more problems for her too. She saved all of them, so he wanted to make her job as easy as possible. While he thought that was it suddenly Red Horn told her real name and extended her hand. That was something Berker didn't expected too see. He just thought they'd go on their own way. After looking at Mia's hand for a second he shaked her hand. "Name is Berker. You can easily find me because there is no one else with this kind of strange name in there." After smiling he let go of Mia's hand and leave the place before police arrived.
While he was going away a sudden thought hit him. "Why not give her your phone number?" Aww... That was a stupid thing he did... But on the other hand she'd have to come and ask for him. He still could not believe she would do something like that. Who could have guessed today would play like this.

Mia gave the kid’s hand a firm shake, her own mitt more like a bear’s claw by sheer comparison of size, engulfing Berker’s hand in her firm shake while managing not to crush it. An artform learned over many accidental finger crushes in her past, it was very easy to learn your own strength after only a few people groaning in agony when you crush their hand. “Berker huh? Bet you’re right there. Hardly think I’ll come across another name like that… but hey you guys got a kid literally named ‘Red’ in your school so what do I know about it?~”
With the sirens pulling up at the end of the alley and Berker heading off in the opposite direction, Mia gave the kid an idle two fingers salute that followed the length of her horn with a bright smirk behind it, signing the kid off and in a silent way just thanking him for his attempt. Even if she’d been on the scene pretty sharply, it was always good to know someone was there, pro hero or not, to help the civilian out while she’d been making it to the scene.
Sooner rather than later, the goon was processed, and Mia would be off back on patrol.
