You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ Freakin’… The morning after the night before not always much of a pretty scene, while the young brunette who marched through minutes that most would associate with dawn was not looking all that lacking for picturesque appeal, the same could not be said for either her mood or the expression she wore. Janky ass bus schedules and shit… Lip curled into a slight snarl and somehow sporting a knot at the centre of her brow despite the fact that part of it was arched up, Nikki Nakajima was certainly feeling like no kind of spring chicken as she had slipped out of whatever hole she had fallen into the night before quickly and quietly, in an effort to avoid unnecessarily complications like offers for meeting up again or finding out people’s names. On the one hand going back to ‘his’ place is handy but not when it’s this far out… Shit, how did I even make it this far drunk? This a service she was happy to offer up to any partner who seemed like they were a lot more fun before the fact rather than after, Nikki would be left lamenting the fact that she had opted to grab a cab with someone so happy to spend their money on champagne and whisky for her, but felt not half as much irritation toward that fool as she did the idiots who designed their public service system. Fuck, am I gonna walk of shame across the whole of Tokyo? I need some car having buddies or something… Only having one bus per hour at this time of day rather an inconvenient concept for a girl who wished to get back to her apartment for a hot shower and a deep bout of sleep, as she wrapped her jacket around her a little tighter and lamented the chill that was nipping at her beneath her skirt the brunette was beginning to think that she would be beyond rescue today, but luckily for her some powerful force would offer her salvation. Or at least a facade enchanting enough to grab her attention. Or one of my own maybe…? A glowing garage-like structure seeming to offer at least enough promise of respite to draw the red eye of a reveller and an emerging sense of intrigue, as Miss Nakajima romped along on heels and in weather that was rather too cool for comfort she couldn’t help but find this hint of humanity rather inviting, though that might have been because of her former career. Perhaps a little part of her hoping there might be some old banger or something she could ‘borrow’ to drive home like the old days tucked away, or maybe even some legal means of acquiring speedier transport at a push, as the electric glow seized her attention the steely siren couldn’t help but heed its silent call and step closer and closer to it and found herself peering inside the first opening she found with a sense of curiosity and perhaps a little criminality in mind, if necessary… @tag | Word Count: 508 | 1 2

Axel had only had the new place for a short while. It wasn’t anything too special. He’d managed to find an old gas station on the outskirts of tokyo that still had most of it’s parts working, some nice garage space, and it was out on the outskirts which was worth a double mention solely because it meant he wouldn’t get AS much business as the bigger places in the main city. Definitely meant he could focus on his own work if he needed to. With a few cars lined up in the garage, and not as much space as his old pseudo warehouse, it left little space for those more personal projects but…
Hey, when you were the main tech guy of a woman looking to conquer the high class criminal world, money tended not to be an object. With some tricky loophole work he’d managed to create an undocumented basement level for most of his more personal work. Walls of screens and rows of servers, a few work benches for the more practical, physical applications of his skills but… all in all he had to say he was liking the new digs. He could still perform his ‘real job’ with ease and if he wanted a break? Easy enough. Just take some time actually helping people replace tires, fix up their engines and maybe offer a hand just by fueling them up while they go inside and purchase a travel snack. All easy enough work to do in the end. Nothing to complain about.
Ya know… beyond the fact he was still the only person working here. He was working on something to help pick up the slack when he needed to sleep or do something off site but… hoo boy. That was a work in progress.
A soft beeping sound would sound throughout his home. Enough to bother someone into waking up but not enough to go through the glass so the peeping Nikki wouldn’t be aware she’d set off some sort of alarm by touching the glass that allowed them to pear into the ‘customer serving’ area of the pit stop. Axel, however, would remain soundly asleep, several pillows tucked under his chunky TV head as he snoozed away, having only fell asleep a few hours ago… it was only when a constant rattling accompanied the beeping that her finally ‘booted up’, shaking the static out of his brain and forcing himself towards the door.
For Nikki, she would see a robotic limb, the kind you’d see doing routine tasks working at a car factory plastering pieces into place on a pre-made frame, roll into view from the garage itself, it’s fumbly digits working at the door handle for about a minute, struggling to get a firm grip before the robot boy would emerge from a separate door in the back, seeming to tip his head back, a parting mouth appearing on his screen as if mimicking a yawn.
“Yer fuckin’ useless you are.” Knocking the robot limb’s hand away from the door, Axel reached into the pocket of the Jacket he’d thrown on his shoulders, pulling out keys, a red rocket, like there was atop the building, adoring it as a keychain. “Ya need the keys first dumbass.” He’d sound out, loud enough to come through the glass, finally opening up the main door and tipping his his head through… though given how big his head was that required the door to be a fair bit open. He put on a very fake looking smile on his screen and a tinny chipper voice.
“Hi! How can I help you at 6 am?~”

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ That… Might do, I guess? Definitely not expecting to see a robot appear behind the door she was peering through, while some might have flinched as they did a little visual reconnaissance and found something looking back at them, Miss Nakajima for one reason or another seemed to take what occurred before her in her stride. Well, with a little bemusement, of course. Hopefully it’s faster than walking at least? Perhaps the transition between drunk and hungover leaving her in a semi-numbed state or the coldness outside enough to provide her with enough willing to simply consider anything with wheels an improvement on what she had, for what was perhaps not the first time today the steely siren found herself keen on jumping on top of the first available option that she had found, and that probably should have been something she should have learned from really. But she didn’t. Wow, did I get so drunk I woke up in Star Wars? Fortunately spared the task of trying to break through the glass before her and figure out some way to commandeer the machine-made arm before her as a second ‘face’ appeared before her, while Nikki had been doing a good job of suspending her disbelief at the sight of the first robot, when a second appeared she couldn’t help but feel like she was getting punked or something. This one a bit more human in function for the most part, while its spindly looking legs did not inspire the bewildered brunette to consider it a fitting form of transport for herself the fact that it seemed to be opening the door seemed promising, especially considering the position of the ‘open’ sign that was rather promisingly placed in front of him. “Oh uh, shit… It’s early, huh?” The optimism she carried seeming to be cut off quite quickly though when the door was open and the bot behind it had seeming to have spoken to her, even though she was certainly something of a damsel in quite the level of distress the dark dish still felt a little bad for the early hour she had approached the store, even considering the fact that she was dealing with what looked to be something that should have had the surname ‘9000’ or some such. “Fuck, uh, maybe I should just…” Flicking her hair and then peeling her hand back through her hair as she realized just what an imposition she was being, that combined with the fact that she had been caught out a little when she had been tempted to fall back on her old criminal habits left the usually feisty femme feeling just a little bit flustered, and even looking for an exit where she could as well… @tag | Word Count: 456 | 1 2

As the woman before him questioned how early it was, Axel sighed a little and dropped the chipper façade for a second, stepping back and opening the door a little more so he wasn’t sticking his head through like some sort of creeper, the base of his more ‘fabricy’ palm pressing against his screen, like how someone might rub their eyes if they REALLY wanted to get in there without straight up poking a finger in or something. “Well yeah I mean did the closed sign not give you a clu-“ He paused, turning to look at the sign, his head flicking briefly then rapidly double taking and stopping him in his tracks. The ‘white guy blinking’ meme showing up on his screen before his head just sank as it sunk in.
“… you forgot to flip the sign.”
His head lifted to meet the ‘eyes’ of the robo arm that was slowly backpedalling to the garage with a sad sounding ‘bweee bwooooooo…’ as it dissapaared out of sight, Axel’s tinny speakers replicating an exasperated sigh and just coming to terms with the fact this was his reality now. Running on about 2, maybe 3 hours of sleep tops, but as the woman suggested she should get going, Axel turned his eyes back to her… the lesser attire, the strong frame… she was dressed in leather so it had a sorta biker chick thing going, or it would if not for the skirt.
“… nah. Nah you must be freezing. Step inside for a bit at least.” He’d gesture for her to follow him in, rounding the counter and bending down under it for a moment, pulling out tiny tea kettle as he idly spoke. “Tough lookin’ gal like you must have a reason for dropping by here so early… date not give you enough cab fair?” He’d joke, a flash of a smirk on his screen before he lifted the kettle a little higher. “Tea? Warm you up?”

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “Oh uh…” About to keep on walking as the bewildered bot offered her a chance to step out from the cold and into something that was hopefully somewhat warm, while Miss Nakajima hadn’t had a lot to do with mechanical men or whatever this thing was supposed to be, she did at least appreciate the hospitality that she was shown in her own gruff way. “Don’t mind if I do, I guess?” Shrugging as she lingered outside and then decided that even if she didn’t get something out of this she would have been happier getting a bit of a respite from the cold and maybe a chance to wait somewhere warm for the bus to come, after shivering as a bitter breeze licked at the exposed parts of her flesh the frozen fox would accept the invitation of Axel and look around what she found within as she stepped into the building she had been peering into only moments before. “Something like that?” Perhaps a little bit surprised when next she was treated to a little joke from the metal mechanic, both because she wasn’t expecting a sense of humour from something she was still trying to figure out if he was partway human or not but also because the jocular jab he offered hit a mark not too far from the truth of the matter, Nikki would nod but narrow her eyes with a hint of suspicion as vaguely confirmed his guess and wondered if he had been spying on her or something. “Oh, sure… Thanks?” Still not really all that sure what to make of this mechanized mister but still not going to turn down something warm and wet on a morning like this, the steely siren would nod again at the offer of a hot drink and tuck her thumbs into the waistband of her skirt as she stepped a little deeper within the garage and continued to look around it curiously. “So you uh…” Not exactly sure of how to broach her interest in collecting some form of transport for herself or even wholly convinced that she would even be able to in this place, as her humble host prepared a drink Miss Nakajima would draw nearer to him and gaze around herself, making a rather feeble attempt at small talk while she did so. “This your place then, uh…?” Certainly by no means unappreciative of the hospitality she was shown of course, and the struggles she had with her words simply coming from the fact that she tended to have a hard time getting all that chatty with strangers when she wasn’t fresh off a night of drinking, the dark dish would do what she could to try and avoid seeming too grumpy or aloof toward this stranger as she sized him and his establishment up and tried to make a little sober sense of either… @tag | Word Count: 482 | 1 2

Inside the store was definitely warm. Despite being a robot Axel still felt the sting of cold, perhaps worse than most. It could stiffen his joints, and being metal heat transference happened pretty much instantly. Be it heat or the lack of it, a temperature shift would always hit him first. As such even when he was asleep he seemed to still have a heating system going, large orange bars behind grates lining every other wall, like very well optimized space heaters. Either high end or just very well made if he’d done it himself. Which he had once he figured out how the first one he actually bought worked.
“Mmm. Sorry, guess I shouldn’t have really made the call just…” He vaguely lifted his head, a set of cartoon eyes appearing on his screen, comically looking up and down her before raising an eyebrow and his screen turning blank again. “An outfit like that? Out this far from the main city? This time of day? Kind of an easy calculation to make but eh… hey whatever does it for ya. Maybe you like the chill who am I to say.” As she took up the offer of a cup of tea he dipped his head with a nod, running one of the taps for the kettle and opening up a set of cupboards on the wall behind him. With the counter between them Nikki could still easily see that Axel’s space on the other side seemed to be a combo of his own kitchen and storage for any little things he might sell to passerbys. Snacks he couldn’t eat or enjoy but also space to wash his hands, a separate sink for cleaning his tools, and a few comfort items like a neck pillow laid out on one of the counters or a book pressed pages down so it could hold his page since he couldn’t find a bookmark. With a teabag in hand and a spare cup freshly rinced he was of to making her a tea, pausing briefly though. “Oh er, shoulda asked. “ He dipped back to the cupboard, he’d instinctively gone with british style tea but held up two brands. “You prefer herbal or European?”
Kettle boiling he’d be more than happy to hold conversation, folding his arms and rubbing his arms through his jacket, the brief snowy chill nipping at him but quickly fading thanks to the heat of his pit stop. “Oh yeah, bought the place a few weeks ago. Still a few things to fix up but eeeeh… I’m doin’ okay with it. Get as many customers as I want and I’m training ditzy in the garage to work shit when I’m not here.” He cupped a hand to the speaker below his screen and called to the garage. “He’s still learning though!”
There was another, quieter little ‘bweee bwoooooo’ from the garage.
Rolling his shoulders back, shaking his head with a tinny sigh, he’d look back to the woman… briefly questioning how he kept attracting all the hot chicks with the dark hair, but brushing the idea aside. “So! What brings you here to my little pit stop? Need to use my phone? Know it’s hard to get signal out here.”

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “Depends on the ‘herbs’ I 'spose?” Raising her brow a little bit when she was offered her choice of tea, certain habits compelled Miss Nakajima to make a little joke about matters of herbal refreshment, but for one reason or another she figured that it would probably go right over the head of someone or something with a television for a face. “Normal stuff’s fine.” Shaking her head soon after as she confirmed the fact that she wasn’t looking for anything one might consider to be special or fancy, the steely siren was more used to drinking things with a bit more strength and didn’t often dip into beverages that were brewed by heat, usually preferring stuff from a tap or maybe the odd cup of joe if she really needed something to wake her up. “So that thing’s like your pet?” At least showing casual level of interest in the conversation that her companion brought to her, as the metal man pointed out his mechanic dog or whatever it was Nikki cocked her head and looked the odd thing over again, before showing for all of the politeness she tried to offer her manners were not that great ultimately. “Even dude-bots have them, huh?” Still not entirely sure if she was speaking to something that had been built in a workshop like this one or a poor fool whose quirk had turned them into something that even this often self-centred soul would feel sorry for, while the brunette was certainly appreciative of the warm room and the hot drink that was made for her she remained as frank as ever in her attitude, and perhaps on some level used her ill-worded assumption about her host in order to get a little clarification on the issue. “Just uh, getting stuck out here and then seeing this place…” Running her hand back through her hair as she found herself asked next about what she had been up to, Miss Nakajima elected to show at least a little more discretion in her manner when she skirted around the fact that she had been poking around the place half in the hope of finding something she might be able to swipe in order to get her home a bit quicker, and offered up a more vague description of what she had been up to. “It made me wonder if I should get a set of wheels of my own?” At least some of her intention plain in what she had been up to, and it certainly the case that her circumstance and proximity to this place had inspired a mild desire within her to get more mobile, it felt like it would do neither of them much good to know the whole truth of the matter anyway. She’d just have to leave and he’d probably get a bit pissed off, so really, this was best for both of them, right? @tag | Word Count: 487 | 1 2

He let out a surprised but playful little sound as Nikki joked about the herbs and he rolled back his own shoulders as he ended up going for the normal tea bag. “Yeah I don’t think I’d get much use of keeping the ‘special’ stuff around… though they do say dealers shouldn’t touch their own product… guess I got that advantage going for me if I ever decide to change careers.” He cheekily flicked back, a tongue sticking emoji showing on his screen. Either way the kettle would be warming up soon enough, though the general warmth inside was definitely helping generally.
“Hm? What-oh! Oh no more like a er… pet project. Thing’s got a fundamental AI but most of that’s just so I can get a chuckle out of it when company shows up. Things still a robot at the end of the day.” He stated clearly, as if he wasn’t registering the irony in such a statement. He tipped his head a little confused about the comment she was making about ‘dude bots’ but just rolled his shoulders back in another shrug. “I mean… yeah I guess either way. I wouldn’t mind an actual dog or something if I wanted a pet, dunno why me being a dude has something to do with it… chicks not have pets in the circles you travel?” Hearing her speak up about her intentions here, Axel didn’t quite believe she was pearing through the window because she herself might want a car of some kind, especially since he didn’t put up a sign yet talking about the second part of his legitimate business here… or, third part, if you count fueling and fixing cars as separate items. Still, he decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and nodded along to what he readily assumed might be a bit of a lie, just trying to play nice at the end of the day. “Well if you ever make a decision you can drop by here sometime. I make some cheap vehicles using second hand frames.” He paused and realized how ‘shoddy’ that might sound before adding. “To be clear they work sound and they’re road safe. Can just be cheaper building off an old car’s frame with new parts than paying for a brand name at a car-shop, ya know?” He shot a smile emoji across his screen, trying to keep a more casual tone as he talked about his line of work.

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “Keeping that on hand would be a bit above and beyond for ‘customer convenience, I guess?” Trying to think of something clever to say about ‘supplements’ that might appeal to a robot but a combination of tiredness, alcohol and general absence of expertise in the area meaning that she came up short, Nikki shrugged as her little joke was returned with gusto, though did smirk as this stranger proved himself streetwise enough to catch the meaning she made with it. It a bit awkward really to talk to someone who seemed so different to the self, while the steely siren was something of an oddity thanks to the quirk she possessed it seemed as if a mechanical man was on a whole different level to her, and that was all while assuming that ‘he’ was that at all. It was hard to tell, really, and all that the girl could do was make an assumption. “So it is a ‘pet’ in a way then?” Smirking as she caught a little error in his response to her curiously aimed joke next, Miss Nakajima bobbed her brows to the boyish bot for a moment or two as she offered a hint of banter, but her bravado was quelled quickly with what the metallic merchant had to say next. “Heh, suppose I was just… Putting it like that since I don’t know uh… You know, what to make of you?” Deciding ultimately that she was heading down a rather messy path as she continued to struggle to comprehend the ‘what’ of what her host was, instead of electing to dance around the issue any longer the brunette tried to be as direct as she could about the issue, whilst still maintaining as much tact as she could. Though, as usual, that was not a particularly high amount really. “Vehicles, huh?” Feeling a little bit of intrigue as they discussed the nature of the metal man’s business, Nikki was glad to have at least something to distract her from the sense of wonder she possessed about what the being before her actually was, and found a little verbal hook in the specificity that the robot chose to describe his road-ready wares. “So is it just cars or… Do you have anything a bit more exciting?” That note seeming to stimulate something in the mind of the steely siren, as she mused over why the metal man might not simply go for the more commonplace description of a car shop she couldn’t help but wonder what else he might have been able to offer to her, and found herself feeling a little nostalgic for older days when she roared around on something with a couple less wheels than the average car… @tag | Word Count: 454 | 1 2

“Depends on the business.” A brief gif of a wink would flash across his screen again and he’d let out a cheeky chuckle, keeping an idle corner of his vision on the kettle. It seemed despite his screen being his ‘eyes’ he could still turn his vision a bit without shifting his entire head. Every now and then just the tiniest shift gave the hint he was checking on the kettle, but not nearly enough to look at it if he could only move his eyes by moving his head.
“It’s… it’s a pet as far as an Alexa cellotaped to a Roomba is a pet. Really it’s nothing special.” He tried to just brush it off. Even as a robot himself Axel tried to distance himself from other things, tried not to humanize the process. He knew what went into it all and… besides. Considering the things he made ‘real’ lead to some uncomfortable lines of thought about his own sense of self. Glancing back across to Nikki all the same when she admitted what she meant by dude-bot, Axel shook his head and took the clicked kettle, starting to pour out a tea for Nikki and stirring the bag around a bit so it got some flavour before taking it out and reaching for the sugar and milk. “Just a person. Long story short my quirk trapped me in a TV and a government program got me this body. Rest of the stuff is work I pull off with my own too hands…” He’d been over it a fair few times, he wasn’t tired with the sense of confusion some people displayed and just brushed it off, lifting the cup. “You take sugar?”
“Exciting huh? Well…” He shifted a bit, having finished her tea and handing it over, turning to rest his back against a counter and crossing his arms about himself as he tried to think on what she could mean. “I did a convertible once but.. that was mostly for show. The engine itself was pretty much just enough to get the guy to where he wanted to display that. He knew as much of course but I had to jerry rig a bunch of the internal mechanisms so it’d convert…. Not the most exciting… hang on.”
Dipping out of the room for a moment, Axel would come back with a small SD card, pipping a tiny slit open on the side of his head and pushing it in slowly. There was a brief flash of static on his screen before it would display the bike he’d made for Alexa a few weeks back now, a black bike with blue neon stripes and a slick modern design to it. “This strike a chord?”
He’d flash through a few different pictures he took from different angles before holding his palm out for the SD card to fall into and stuffing it into his Jacket pocket, fixing his jacket a little in turn as he rested his hands in the pockets and his screen dimmed again. “Bikes tend to be the easiest thing to get the parts far, really gotta make sure the balance is right though…”

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “Trapped you in a TV…?” The brow of the brunette lifting a little at the explanation she was provided for the current condition of her companion, all that she could really think of for a moment was the idea that he had suddenly found himself fighting off cartoon wolves or huntsmen, but after a moment she realized that things were probably a whole lot more mundane than that in actuality. “So you used to be a ‘real boy’? Or girl, I guess…?” At least a little relieved for some reason to know she wasn’t speaking to some advanced form of science project, or at least not totally that, in order to get her head around the concept a bit better Nikki sought clarification on the matter in as tactful a manner as she could manage. However, even that was not overburdened with a whole lot of sensitivity, given the sort of girl she was. A convertible wouldn’t be too bad, as long as it’s a decent one… Frowning a little as the metal man left the room and wondering what he might be going to get for her, as she was afforded a moment to digest what she had been told Miss Nakajima didn’t entirely dislike the idea of her cruising along with a set of sweet shades on and the wind whipping through her hair, though even that didn’t feel entirely right either. Not quite bold enough for her. Oh, so it does work like a TV or something? I wonder what else he can pick up with that chrome dome? Quickly distracted by the return of the mechanical merchant and the oddly surprisingly display he put on with his head however, the steely siren would tilt her head a little as she observed his ‘party function’, before finding her attention drawn to what he wished to show off on the screen in front of him after squinting and finding it perhaps a little too brightly displayed for a pair of red eyes that were feeling rather tired by this point. “Oooof, that looks like a sick hog, buddy… You made that?” Finding herself letting out a little whistle once she had spared the image a little bit of attention, as she saw a tasty looking twin wheeled machine presented before her Nikki couldn’t help but feel a little bit excited, and silently wondered if the clockwork salesman had anything like that tucked away in his shop right now. “Now that sorta thing is definitely lookin’ a lot more my kinda speed~” Perhaps betraying her original intent by feeling so thrilled at the prospect of climbing aboard something that would offer her so little comfort from the wind and chill but that not really bothering her all that much right now, all that the grinning girl could do was imagine herself pulling a few wheelies and roaring about town like madwoman, and that sounded amazing. A much better ride than she had for a while, now she thought about it. @tag | Word Count: ### | 1 2

“Yeah, simple as really. Not much more to it than that.” He gave an idle gesture, flippantly tossing the thought aside, but as the woman at least questioned if he used to be a real boy he gave a sound nod. “Bingo Bongo. Ya know how some kids learn they can make fire and accidentally set their parents house on fire cause they’re, ya know, a child? Well I found out my quirk was a one time only ‘consciousness transferral’ into old pieces of tech. Lucky it was a TV in all honesty. Speakers. Image. I could at least communicate when they turned me back on. They’ve made adjustments since. I can hear on my own and… see, but I still need to be turned on to do it. The arms and legs just help with everything else, with a few cool doo-dads I built in myself over the years…”
Once he got to displaying the work he’d done making Alexa’s bike, it seemed he’d garnered some interest and a flash of a cartoon smile burned across his screen as he settled his hands deeper in the pockets of his jacket. At the end of the day he could make any sort of vehicle if he had the time and resources, but bikes were- “Definitely more my speed too. I mean I can make anything if the pay is right but Bikes are easier than anything else really. Simple frames, single seaters, small engines but fast speed. Really the main issue is getting the balance right but you can get a bit of sway either side of you know your handing it to a reliable driver.” He gave another soft shrug thinking for a moment. He didn’t really consider the custom vehicles a main part of his business but… hey, if someone was showing interest.
“I could try and build one with a simple AI for ya if ya like? I mean they figured out self driving years ago. I could try and get you one that drives TO you if it helps ya out. I mean, assuming these er… outskirt wanderings are a regular thing.” He realized that might be showing some sense of insult but it was the best way he could offer it really. He knew it might help but how else to address it... none really. He just had to put it out there.

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “Doo-Dads, eh?” The odd choice of words that her even more unusual companion chose seeming to push the mind of Miss Nakajima in a particular direction that stimulated a rather well developed area of imagination, she couldn’t help but let her gaze wander down the skinny frame that this ferric fella possessed and let her red eyes linger a little ways beneath what she assumed was his waist, before looking back up with a wry smirk for a second or two. “Well, ya gotta make do however you can, I ‘spose?” Winking as she made rather a explicit assumption just what kind of ‘special functions’ a boy with a robot body might be interested in exploiting, though the bawdy brunette certainly carried a passing dash of curiosity as to the specs and performance he might carry in that particular area she did not linger on the issue too much, and instead opted to simply shrug and brush away the issue with a nonchalant lack of judgement that was her custom in these matters. Whatever floats a person’s boat was fine with her, for the most part. “Oh I’ve got experience, used to throw a little something around way back… So I’m used to handling a beast, and getting a bit of road rash too~” Quickly finding her interest occupied more by the topic of roaring road bikes anyway, as the metal mechanic explained his own preference for bike work, Nikki explained the fact that she was no stranger to them herself and showed a hint of pride as she did so as well. Whatever happened to my bike anyway? Remembering the days before she got a bit more ‘civilized’ when she used to tear around with a gang with a sense of bittersweet fondness given what had happened since then, as she stood there thinking of her badass biker days the brown haired babe couldn’t help but draw a blank as to why she had even given up the ‘hog life’ and for a second wondered if her old beast might be sitting in an impound or something somewhere, but experience told her it was more likely to have been chopped in a shop like this given how long ago this was, and how she had come to get in the first place as well. “Oh shit, self-driving? You can do that?” Not afforded all that much time to linger on that sentimentality given how quickly Ricky the Robot seemed to astound her with his own humble bit of bragging, though Miss Nakajima had heard of the odd car and such that could drive itself, she had never heard about the idea of a bike doing the same let alone seen one. “Well, that sounds pretty fucking awesome, so long as I’m not gonna end up with a backseat driver when I wanna thresh her about a bit?” It rather an intriguing concept to have a bike of her own that could scoot around and pick her up when she was a little too far gone to make it home on her own, despite that the raven haired rider couldn’t help but worry that such a function might have gotten in her way when she wanted to let loose, especially given how wildly she could recall herself riding in the past… @tag | Word Count: 551 | 1 2

Axel watched her eyes drift low and a roll of the eyes appeared on his screen. What was it with chicks and trying to check out the lack of a dick he had? Ah well wasn’t like he could do much about it, he just found it weird he somehow got more objectified ‘sexually’ than he did LITERALLY get objectified as a robot. He shrugged the thought off whatever the case with a “’Spose” And turned to the kettle as it clicked with the signal it was boiled, Axel working on pouring out a cup before bending down into a fridge under the counter, laying down a mini-bottle of milk and some sugar beside the tea he handed over, gesturing to Nikki as a signal she had the full go ahead to make it however she liked.
“Bitch they had that shit back in 2020!~” He chimed with a bit of a chipper tone at how impressed she was, chuckling in his tinny tone as she seemed so shocked by the idea that something like that could even be possible. To install it on a modern vehicle would be…intricate, but ultimately childs play. Heck that level of tech was on the open dark web market before he was even born. All he’d need to do was develop an app that linked to the on board GPS. “Bare in mind you’re always gonna need to be sure the damn’ thing is charged, or fuelled if you wanna go petrol, cause you might end up with it dying halfway and the GPS shutting off, so it’ll be halfway to nowhere with no GPS for you to track it with…”
Ultimately, he shrugged. “Whatever the case, it’s doable if I can manage the balance on the self driving, and I can make sure it only self drives when someone isn’t driving.”

You Looking for someone to Rock Your World~? ❝ “Hey, don’t know if it escaped your notice but I’m not exactly an expert on… Robotics or whatever that is?” Perhaps the tiniest hint of a blush appearing in Nikki’s cheeks as the boisterous bot called her out on her ignorance, while the brunette usually took criticism in her stride or silenced it with a punch, this seemed to hit a little closer to home than she really might have liked. Perhaps a teeny tiny bit insecure about her intellectual level since she had dropped out of school since she was in middle-school, while the fiery femme was confident enough in her street smarts and things like basic math she was far from sophisticated, and tended to feel a little bit more sensitive than usual when people saw her as dumb. “Jeez, this ain’t my first bike buddy, obviously they don’t run without fuel!” At least offered something of a reprieve for her level of expertise when next the mention of needing to keep her bike ‘fed’ caught her attention, as she flicked her head Miss Nakajima spoke with confidence as she confirmed her understanding of how to handle a bike in general, showing that her ignorance was more to do with matters of high tech equipment than anything. Also quickly showing her preference for something that had a bit of ‘woof’ about it, while she had rid a couple of electric bikes in the past the steely siren knew she would much rather have a rumbling bitch between her thighs than one of those battery charged toys, largely because she loved the thrill of feeling that roar of the engine flow through her body when she revved up and hit the road hard. “Say, is it gonna be one of those things that talks?” Smirking a little as she imagined the idea of her tearing up the streets on a purring puma, this combined with the talk of AI made a fun little thought pop into her head, and black beauty couldn’t help but question the possibility. “Like, in a sexy voice?” It seeming so intriguing to a girl like Nikki to hear her bike talking back to her, it seemed reasonable to assume that if the thing was smart enough to drive itself it might just have the ‘brains’ to speak as well, and if that was the case she wanted an option that would really tickle her interest the next time she needed a chat with something. “Anyway, whatever you can hook me up with sounds like it should do the trick…” Nodding as she accepted the offer of this odd bot to build her a sweet new ride, ultimately Miss Nakajima wasn’t too worried about the specs of her sexy new machine so long as it was packing plenty of power and badassery behind it, and decided now that the most important details of their business was done with it was time for her to move on for now. The drunk/hangover balance seeming to shift further into discomfort with every moment that seemed to pass, the steely siren was keen on getting back to her home for a shower and sleep combination as the sun crept into the sky above her, before her body started to rebel against the ‘abuse’ she had put upon it under the starlight. “But I should probs make my way home and get some sleep, so I’ll take ya up on the ‘call a cab’ option as well~” Opting to take up another offer that this strange figure had given her due to her keenness to avoid the slow march through the cold as well, while it was disappointing to learn that she couldn’t walk away from this meeting today with a fresh set of wheels, given her blood alcohol level and how impulsive that number made her it was probably a good thing. It probably not doing for a rider who didn’t exactly have the most legal of bike experience to be pulled over for drunk riding in hindsight, slipping into a taxi seemed like the perfect thing for her right now, or at least the best that she could get with the ‘emergency cash’ she had tucked into her top as she left her so-called lover earlier this evening… [exit] @tag | Word Count: 710 | 1 2
