Tick ... Tick ... Tick ... Tick ... Tick
Utter silence, an absence of everything, a void, darkness whirling around a singular point; the mind scrambling for air in the vastness of space. Something distant tickled the mind; drawing it up, a sensation? Something... warm... it tingled against the skin? Skin? What a strange word. What was skin? Who was out there, beyond the dark? The mind swam again, seeking something to grasp onto; it craved solid ground. A shape formed in that vast space, white, pale, hollow. The upper portion of a skull scowled down at the mind, blue eyes blazing an accusation at him. Who was he? He was the mind. The mind was a person, a boy, a man, a fighter, a warrior, a hero in training. The blue eyes flared brighter; burning with an intensity that would have hurt any other. He reached for the skull, trying to stop the blinding light from burning him away. He cried out, a plea, a prayer, a-
He woke.
The sound of a clock ticking slowly in the otherwise silent room was the first thing that drew his attention. He was comfortable; if a bit sore, with a softness enveloping his waist and legs. He looked down and saw fresh white sheets. He looked down at his chest; old scars still there but they were covered mostly with bandages and various diodes to check his vital signs. Something tickled inside his throat and he gagged, reaching up and pulling out the feeding tube with a grunt and a moan. He coughed, wiping his nose and shuddering. Then he froze, looking at the tube. How long had he been out? He looked at his arms...no atrophy. But that didn't mean anything in this age of quirk users. He clenched his fists when a small voice came to him from across the room. He tensed and looked up; icy blue eyes wide with confusion and doubt.
"Three days," She said, she was blonde, a head shorter than him with an athetic build and the look of someone just a few years his senior. But he knew that pair of wild eyes and mane of uncontrollable hair anywhere. A heat burned behind his eyes as he clenched down on something small that was gripping his palm. He looked to his right and saw a small, black-haired girl asleep against the matress of his bed. Seiki. He looked up at the woman again, tears burning his skin. "It's good to have you back Little Hawk,"
"Mom," He managed, working his mouth strangely. He touched his jaw, it felt stiff but fresh.
"Whatever happened, you broke your jaw in a half dozen places, your quirk factor was a mess and all of your muscles were torn. The doctors barely put you back together. My quirk and yours did the rest;" She said softly, walking over and pressing her lips against his forhead. He could feel her tears. He shuddered and fell still, controlling the shame building up in his chest.
"I lost," He grunted, his head hanging. "I wasn't able to hold out long enough... that man, Diego, was he...?" He left the question hanging in the air. She shook her head and placed a hand on his back, rubbing it.
"We didn't see any bodies when we arrived though we did get a police report later about a man with the same name having been held up by quirkers. You saved his life and the Pro's arrived just a few minutes after you blacked out. You did good Yasashi, damn good," She whispered. Sitting down with him and giving her son a hug. He clenched his fist to his chest and curled over; releif burning through his entire body like hot metal in his veins. A pained sob shuddered out of his chest, he'd been so scared, so scared that he'd failed, so scared that man had died, it tore him up inside that he couldn't even feel his own desire for self preservation. What was wrong with him? Why was he so relieved? He was in the hospital! He buried his face in his mother's shoulder for a few more minutes while he excised his demons, clinging to her.
When he finally recovered she stood up and ruffled his short hair; "You've got visitors by the way, they've been waiting," She said, "So wipe those tears, savy?"
He looked up at her and broke into a big smile, his body feeling light as a feather; "Yes ma'am!"
She nodded and turned away, exiting the way she had come and stepping into the brightly lit hallway. She held a finger up to her lips and smiled with a small wink; the Pro Hero Aquitaine thumbed back at the door; "He's awake, go easy on him," She said to those gathered.

One persin in particular came to visit Yasashi. SOmeone who had not contacted him in a while, someone who was pretty much under the radar until recently. Akari, well, she didn't exactly have a proper family name at this point, the Himura household had officially disowned her following the debacle on the news. She looked healthier, at least she was eating properly, and she had on proper clothes, but, having managed to get her father and mother exposed, and her father removed from the police force and arrested, she became something of a small town news story.
With a major weight lifted off her body, she was able to be a bit more free about what she wanted to do, and, with no more fear of her parents tied to hospitals, she was happy to come and visit someone who tried to help her out in the past. Her hair was still done in to those two pig tails, she had on canvas shoes, tall ones that went a quarter of the way up her shins. Nylons with little tears in them on her legs, up to a skirt that was a bit big for her. An ill fitting graphic t shirt and a baggy puffy sleeping bag like jacket. She was wearing a bunch of hand me downs collected from foster families.
They had plenty to talk about, and, having heard that someone she knew was hospitalized, she wanted to come and see him. Slipping in without making eye contact with the mother as she came out, she was the first to enter and see Yasashi, a feint smile on her face, "Hi." She softly said, wanting to make sure he saw that she was doing a little better, all things considered, there was still a bit of an issue, a social worker was here with her instead of her parents (good for that) and no guardians here to watch after her either.

CAT PURRS: THE BEST MEDICINE CATS HAVE A GIFT FOR BEING in the right place at the right time. For example, young Kuranosuke had missed Nimue's departure, and had thus spent the night on-campus. He snuck into the library, spent much of the night reading, and ultimately decided that he'd pay Jack a visit. En route to the dorms, he passed a teacher, who was gathering a small collection of students.
"Alright, Yasashi may or may not be awake for your visit, but the gesture's appreciated nonetheless."
Yasashi?
The diminutive cat came to a stop, his tail quivering faintly.
Why did that name sound familiar?
A cozy afternoon beneath a tree simmered to mind. And chicken, so much chicken.
Yasashi lived here, though! Why were they walking to the car to visit him? The cat sprinted after them.
Donning his invisible coat, Kuro followed the posse. When the door to the sedan was unlatched, the cat vaulted through to the far back side, hunkering down.
A child sat up front, another in the back seat, and Kuro curled-up in the tiniest ball on the floorspace of the unoccupied seat, wriggling out of his invisibility. The car started, and then pulled away from the curb.
By their conversation en route to the hospital, the cat had been able to intuit that Yasashi had been hurt-- and badly. It made the tip of Kuro's tail twitch. It made his ears flick. Who could do such a thing? To Yasashi? That boy was kind enough to feed a practical-stray. The car rolled to a stop, the brake was pulled. Kuro wriggled back into his invisible coat. The door popped open, and he didn't wait for the person to emerge before darting past their leg.
"Whoa, what the-?!"
A shimmer rippled towards the front door of the hospital, shouted inquiries following him. Kuro didn't stop until he was scrunched behind a potted plant just inside the door, shedding his invisibility for just a moment while he caught his breath.
The hospital was oddly sterile and yet fraught with unfamiliar smells. He couldn't use his nose to find Yasashi.
Thankfully, his unsuspecting chaperones soon entered the building. The cat slid into his invisibility once again, scampering after them.
"-a cat?!"
"Sure felt like it. Didn't see anything though."
"Must've been a muscle spasm."
Kuro smiled to himself. Yeah, a muscle spasm, sure.
They boarded an elevator, wound their way down serpentine halls.
And then more waiting--
A woman who smelled vaguely like Yasashi went alone into the room. Kuro, all the while, sat beneath a bench in the hallway, tucked into the shadows.
It felt like FOR. EV. ER. before the door opened. And when it finally did and the woman beckoned Yasashi's human visitors inside, the black cat tore out from under the bench without even bothering to put on an invisible disguise, much to the shock of the human visitors. He bolted straight for the far wall, dodging any hands that might try to grasp him, and then he turned on a dime and sprung onto the bed in one, fluid motion.
The cat stood at the foot for a moment, green eyes wide-- it really was Yasashi. His Yasashi. The prickling in his back-fur told Kuro that someone would try to grab him, so the cat crouched low and crawled closer to the boy, towards his hip, and he crouched near the pillows, ears back.
"Mrow," Kuro meowed woefully. Best not to blow his cover around all these unfamiliars. Particularly the woman that smelled like Yasashi-- Kuro knew he'd seen her on campus before. The cat brushed his cheek against Yasashi's side and looked at him. Concern and confusion was written clearly in his eyes.

‘What in the hell even happened to him’
It was quite a shock really, hearing the overly naive dumbass being hospitalized . Knowing him, he stuck his head where he doesn’t belong and promptly got his ass beat for it. But that's where the joke's end due to the fact that the condition was that serious. The Mom and sister coming into the chat and telling the people is usually the biggest pieces of evidence. But what did that dumbass do? And who the hell could have brought a big like him down that badly? There was only one way to find out and it was simple.
However due to previous incidents, Yuuto was quite hesitant in actually showing up due to their previous encounters being less than friendly. But he ultimately decided to show on the grounds that while he doesnt agree with his philosophy and how he handles things...he is a fellow classmate who means well. One could say that antagonistic shark actually feels remorse over his words and actions from before, though most of it is an act hiding something else. But apologizing is out of character for him with the sort of persona he built up over time, so the next best thing is to show up if the guy is alive and make sure he is alright before promptly going back to his usual antics.
He would prepare as soon as possible as he went to the hospital. Luckily he remembered the bastards full name and got the room he was in. Since it was cold out, he wore his glasses, his signature black hoodie and jeans and then put another jacket over the first and finish it off with a blue plaid scarf. Overkill? Yeah but it's cold and getting sick ain’t no way to show one is strong. The snow did leave the streets empty so it was rather calm walk to the hospice he was staying at. Though hospitals always brings back bad memories from middle school. The sterile white floors, the muted colors of the halls, the faceless medical personnel. All of it pissed him off but he was only here for the big bastard. He would walk down the hall with a fruit basket as it felt necessary to leave him with something. Well that and he remembers his mom always doing that when he was in the hospital.
He would look at the room numbers, slowly counting down to the one he was looking for.He took a deep breath before entering to see him in the bed. A familiar sight seen from a different perspective. Yuuto would sigh out loud as he would see he isnt alone as a civilian and a cat showed up to visit him. How does he know them is up in the air but its pleasant to know that the guy has more friends.
“Looks like you’re still alive and kicking, the hell happened man?” he would say in his usual sharp tone. But one could feel the tinge that he cares for Yasashi in his own dumb way. He would place the basket on the table next to him and take a seat. Because he sure as hell is curious who can beat him down this badly.

Sterile, compact. The waiting chairs were way to small and close together. He felt like there was a weight on his chest. He hardly even knew the guy; didn't even know what was going on until another one of his classmates told him, yet guilt felt like it weighed on him all the same.
He honestly didn't know Yuuto that well. He found the kid abrasive enough to usually not interact with outside of homeroom activities, but now the large snail boy was trailing right behind him without any words. Nenkin held tightly to the bag of cookies that he had baked for Yasashi. He was honestly tempted to eat a few of them, but kept his appetite down for now. He reached up to pick an icicle off of one of his tendrils and flicked it into a nearby trashcan. As he started warming up, Nenkin unzipped his large jacket, but would never took it off. He hated Winter's chill more than almost anything else. Everything felt so cold.
Large as he was he would have to bend down quite a bit to shimmy his way through the doorway. "Hey..." He wasn't sure what else to say, a good part of him was stunned to see how good of a condition Yasashi was in. He looked over to the other people that had come before Yuuto and he a quick greeting nod before shimmying over to the table and placing his treats right behind the fruit basket. Still unable to find the words he wanted to say, he would move over to the couch on the far end of the room and take a seat if there was still room available for him.
Honestly, Yuuto was able to say what Nenkin didn't know he wanted to. Everything that he had heard about what when down sounded like nothing more than rumor, the injuries they claimed obviously far more exaggerated than reality. "A- are you okay?" He would barely speak above a mumble, not sure if his question sounded stupid or not. The bandages looked rough. Every aspect of his appearance honestly screamed out in pain as far as Nenkin could seen, and that was a far cry from what he originally harbored in his mind. It was weird to think but he was glad that things weren't that bad. Still, though, what kind of fight broke out that made people think those things in the first place?

The lightness in his body was just that shaky feeling you felt after a good long cry. He trembled a little when his mother turned away, clenching his fists and taking a deep breath. When she stepped out the door he felt something resting to the left of him in the bed. He reached down ran his fingers along the cold, hard, stony surface. He pulled the object out and stared at the faceplate of a skull. His eyes went distant, he remembered that woman, sand, skull masks, skeletons rising from the... he grunted and winced; a pain shooting through his temple. He clutched his head and took a steadying breath; setting the strange mask aside. He should throw it away... but... He shook his head and leaned back, rubbing his face when the door opened and of all people-Akari stepped inside. Her small hi brought a smile to his face. "Hey there," He said quietly, tilting his head; "You look good. Healthy. I'm glad for you," Yasashi said awkwardly, the words coming out of his mouth sounding funny when you compared it to the number of wires attached to him and the bruising patterns on his face and torso. He already had numerous scars littering his body from years of defending himself against people who resented quirkers. Yet he knew that if it wasn't for finally using his own quirk the injuries would have been a lot worse. He winced as he sat up straight and gave her the biggest, dorkiest smile he possibly could manage. "Thank you for coming," He chuckled and scratched at his neck; "Not exactly how I wanted you to see me next, but hey,"He had barely gotten the words out when something black and small darted into the room and past his mother who spun with a surprised look in her eyes. She peeked inside to see a black cat leap onto the bed with anxious energy. Yasashi let out a startled gasp, his eyes nearly popping out of his head until the realization hit him at the same time the cat hit his lap. With a resounding 'oof' Yasashi burst into a fit of chuckles, while the cat meowed woeully, backing up closer and closer to Yasashi. Yasashi scooped the cat up and pulled him into his lap proper, running a finger over the cat's head and down his back. "Hey Kuro, good to see you my friend," He said, ice blue eyes searching those intelligent, concerned orbs. "...it's okay. I'll be okay. Just got a little roughed up, haha," He half lied. Best not to worry the poor thing too much. The sudden activity drew his sister out of her slumber. Seiki's black hair turned almost white when her quirk flared up in reaction to all the movement around her. Her skin turned three different colors of hilarious before she settled into a normal shade of brown. She looked left, and right, and then up at Yasashi. Her big, bright eyes tearing up before she let out a burbling sob and threw her arms around her big brother's bruised shoulders. "Ow! Ow ow ow ow! Seiki! Seiiikiiii ouuuchhh!" Yasashi whimpered, holding up his arms while his sister sobbed into his chest. "Ya sa shiiiii you, idiot, you could-a got dead you dumb stupid big fat head!" she bellowed before pulling back, sniffing a big wad of snot back into her nose. "Idiot." She grunted before realizing there was a cat and a...girl in here too. Her eyes began to sparkle and she took in a deep breath as she took in Kuro only to exhale and relax when Yasashi gave her a warning look; petting the concerned cat's head. She huffed and then turned toward Akari. "Yasashi never mentioned a girl like you. You his girlfriend or something?" Seiki asked with her usual lack of filter or tact. Yasashi blanched and nearly sat up to grab his sister when another person stepped inside. "Yuuto?" ...carrying fruit basket? Yasashi stared dumbly, a bit of tension in his injured chest. Seiki looked up at Yuuto and frowned. "Yuuto? As in the guy with the Shark thing Yuuto?" She got to her feet, her eyes getting a little hard. Yasashi opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by Seiki; "You have a lot of nerve showing up here, putting Yasashi through all that at the beginning of the year. Now he's in a doctor's office; again! What's wrong with you?" She demanded only to have Yasashi clear his throat. "Seiki!" He growled. She froze and looked back at her big brother who shook his head. She puffed up her cheeks in a pout and then retreated to her seat at his side, glaring daggers at Yuuto. Yasashi, on the other hand, smiled at the guy. "Ended up doing something stupid and Idealistic," Yasashi offered in response to Yuuto's question, exhaling. "Thank you, for showing." He scratched his nose and looked away. That was when Nenkin showed up. He didn't get many opportunities to talk to his classmate but he knew he was as good a person as one could be. A decent heart with a bit of a shy streak if he recalled correctly. It was nice of him to show up as he did. "Yeah, I'm fine now. My mother told me that the doctors fixed most of the damage. Though I almost lost my quirk or something..." He said, looking down at his hands and wincing a little; "Guess I overdid it, huh?" Yasashi laughed, only to hear a familiar throat clearing in the doorway. His mother was standing there, arms crossed, and looked him in the eyes with those blazing green orbs. "I stayed as long as I could hon, but now that you're up I have to go back on patrol. They've got a small task force looking for the person who did it. They're interviewing the guy you saved right now. Though apparently I'm to close to it to hunt the b-" His mother trailed off and cleared her throat, "Right. Anyway, I'm off. Thank you all for coming," She added, bowed, and left. Yasashi smiled faintly at his mother before easing back in the bed and looking around. "Yes, Thank you all so much," | TAG WORDS NOTES

Akari nodded as Yasashi spoke to her, her pig tails bobbing about. She did clean up nicely when she had access to proper running water and soap. Her hair wasn't matted down or anything anymore, she could actually count the strands of her locks. She had a decent smile on her face, she was still in the process of going from family to family, but, she was happy to visit someone who really helped her out in the past.
"UH huh, it's nice to see you again too. I got excited when I heard your name and I could find you here. Not that's it's a good thing you are here, it's not. I just mean that, I am, ax ill error rated to see you here!" She wanted to say exhilarated, but, because she still struggled with that much, she got them out as different words that made up the bigger word.
When other people started to come in, including a black cat, and Yasashi's mom, she kind of hugged the wall. She was still sheepish, nervous around anyone from UA or a hero. As if she was still thinking they would do something to her in her current state.
"A-Anyways, i was coming here to see a doctor about getting medicine, so I could use my quirk for when I try to apply to be a student." She would say if she got the chance to get a word in with everyone making the commotion in the room. If they weren't too noisy they wouldn't be chased out by an orderly hopefully!

CAT PURRS: THE BEST MEDICINE THE CAT WAS SO PREOCCUPIED with the fear of being grabbed by one of the other visitors, that when it was Yasashi who scooped him, Kuro just kind-of ragdolled uselessly until he was relocated. Yasashi’s massive, calloused hands cupped around Kuro’s ribs, and maneuvered him delicately to Yasashi’s lap. That place was too prone. He could be grabbed by other people, and forcibly removed from the hospital.
The boy trailed a finger along Kuro’s head and spine, and the cat butted against the touch. The cat arched approvingly at the touch, but he refused to get comfortable. He couldn’t—the cat sat facing Yasashi, his tail flicking slightly. That was a very animalian move of him, lying about his injury. A sick cat would sneak away in the dead of night to die without causing a ruckus—and apparently, a wounded Yasashi would lie and say that he was “a little” roughed-up.
That kind of lie might work on a person, but Kuro was shrewder than that. His ears flattened marginally, his whiskers twitched. As a previously-slumbering girl surged to life, the cat stumbled out of the way, casting an accusatory glance at her. When she—Seiki, Kuro guessed—abated, the cat reclaimed his spot. He dared any of the human visitors to try and move him.
Rather than content himself with Yasashi’s lap, Kuro instead crept up his torso, towards his shoulders. Yasashi permitting, the cat would wedge himself the boy’s head, curled around his neck, where he could watch the other visitors from a safe vantage point. A girl, a boy, Seiki, a big snail… and Mom-sashi. Of all the visitors, Kuro was most concerned about Mom-sashi. She’d probably try to toss him out as soon as she got the chance.
Kuro would brush his cheek against the side of Yasashi’s head, as he sat there, and watch with intelligent eyes as Mom-sashi left “for patrol”. With her gone, it was that much safer to talk to Yasashi. But the cat had to be sure these other visitors were safe—Kuro brushed his cheek against Yasashi again for good measure—this boy was his.

The sister of Yasashi reaction to Yuuto’s arrival is more than appropriate given what he did to him when he first transferred in. But he could see where she was coming from since he is sorta of the same with Yoko, though more verbal in terms of conveying various messages. Also seems like they know what he did considering they mentioned a shark. He wanted to retort but considering the man is current bedridden and still injured, talking down his sister would be a major dick move on his part. So he just let the sisters statement fly by as he was more focused on what in the hell happened to big guy. As predicted he gave a response that echoed the message of their earlier interaction, funny way of things working out. He would only give a thumbs up at the he thanked him at being there.
But he would only sigh and then respond to his words with his usual attitude,“ Id guess as much since our first encounter...but as much I disagree with your beliefs, you did save someone and got out of there with your life. I’ll save myself the self-righteous speech for the sports festival and not when you’re recuperating. I assume you had enough of those for one day.”,he would say as he would take an apple from the fruit basket and start peeling. He couldn't do much as already has his sister, a lady and a cat. So he started to peel the apples he brought so the dude can eat em, remembering how his sister did it when he was in the hospital a few years ago. The glare from his sister didn’t do much as the past was the past and he was here to visit and not start a fist fight. He’s bloodthirsty but he has some class when it comes to visiting someone who is recovering. Though he struggled to find a topic so he would he just be direct in his approach and get to the point.
“I assume they caught the villain who did this to you or do you have to be more wary when out and about in the city? Either way looks like we are in the same boat in that regard.” he would tell him as he peeled the apples, adjusting his glasses as he finished the first apple. In leiu of his character, he would peel them into shark shaped apple cuts. Oddly cute, but it was the least he can do.
He failed to notice the snail guy who came in...he was in his class but he never talked to him much. But he seems to be here for the big guy as well, well might as well leave him be until he is addressed.

"Oh." The boy looked down and twiddled his thumbs. "Well, it's good that you're okay, now, yeah?" His words were spoken nervously, not wanting to step on the metaphorical feet of the several people in the room that obviously knew Yasashi better than he. One eye would follow Yasashi's mother as she left, unaware of her actual line of work. Was she a cop?
"Wait," Nenkin would finally interrupt, his voice much louder than the tepid responses he had been giving earlier, "you nearly lost your quirk?!" Everything that he was seeing wasn't lining up with what he was hearing, from all he knew quirks were, like, a part of you on a fundamental level, how could some. Well, to be honest he didn't pay much mind when learning about other kinds of quirks, it never really mattered that much to him until just now. Regardless, he stood up to his full height on the edge of the room, and suddenly found the cramped space to be really uncomfortable. One of his eye stalks darted to the black kitty that was making itself comfortable on his neck, but his gaze would quickly shift back to Yasashi's face.
So many things were running through his head now, his breath was starting to quicken bit by bit. He could tell from the way the woman was talking whoever did this was still at large. "Yuuto's got a point!" The snail boy would declare! "Whoever did this is going to want to finish the job!" He scratched the top of his head as he started nervously pacing, albeit not very far. "We- we- we gotta make sure he never leaves the school alone for a while or something!" Probably the last thing that anyone else was thinking, but Nenkin was spitballing. "Wait, do you think that whoever did this is going to go after other UA students too?"

While Kuro moved his way up Yasashi's torso his attention moved over to Akari. He was relieved that she still had her awkward sense of humor. Though it was interesting to see that she had decided to pursue entering the Hero Program. He probably shouldn't mention that one of the teachers had just left. Smiling a bit to himself he leaned back and inclined his head; "Thank you Akari, I know what you mean," He said, not enough strength to use his usual barrel-chested chortling. Instead, he rubbed the back of his neck and glanced at Seiki who was watching Akari carefully. Yasashi could almost see the symbol for 'mutter' rising off of her over and over as she tried to decipher their strange relationship. He just looked back at Kuro and gave a half-hearted laugh; poor Seiki doesn't have a chance.
Kuro had taken to a new perch, on Yasashi's broad shoulder in a place where he'd fight tooth and nail to stay close to Yasashi. It was an oddly nice thing to know he'd been 'claimed' by the cat. He reached up and scratched under Kuro's chin, rubbing his face back at the cat's own cheek in response to the brief territorial bunt. He didn't keep his attention on Kuro for long though, as much as he'd rather just play with his fuzzy friend. He glanced back at Yuuto. Yuuto had begun peeling apples, cutting them into... shark apple cuts? Yasashi stared at the cuts for a few seconds, just watching Yuuto cut them while Yuuto spoke. Seiki's attention had also been drawn in that direction. The two of them just stared and stared. Until they glanced at one another as if sharing a conversation through their eye contact.
And then, they couldn't hold back any longer. With puffed up lips and a splutter the two of them burst into laughter. Seiki rolled on the side of the bed while Yasashi held his ribs painfully, trying to stop from laughing while they jollied it up. Brother and sister kept it going for a moment before he took a deep breath to cool his head, he wiped a tear from his eye. "They look like something my dad would make!" Yasashi laughed, shaking his head and finally answering Yuuto's question to not be rude. "Not yet, they have a task force on it according to my mother," He gestured at the door. "Her agency got in touch with a few others, we know her name though. The calling card was a bit obvious..." He said, rubbing his neck and nodding to the bone mask on the table to his left. "Sunaho, leader of the Dust Devils."
Aaand that's when Nenkin reacted; Yasashi turned to look at him with a bit of surprise on his face. Surprise that faded into a happy smile; he grinned-albeit a bit stupidly-and shrugged. "Extreme overuse of my quirk thins my bone marrow. Even then it's not much. But this was... well... lets just say I had bird bones when I got to the hospital!" He laughed, "No marrow, no quirk," Yasashi added, rubbing the back of his neck. He looked out the window as Nenkin kept going. Of course, Sunaho wasn't going to be satisfied. He didn't remember how it ended but he must have done something right to cause her to leave him alive. But... he doubted it would be something so aggressive. It was like she didn't want him to die like it was a shame.
"...no. I don't think she will. That's not what she's about. I don't think anyway. She hates Hero Society as a whole, not the people in it..." Yasashi muttered, looking down at his hands. "She hates anti-quirkers too. That was who I saved after all," Yasashi said.
Seiki stared at him, hard, "You rescued a bigot?"
Yasashi squared his shoulders and looked his sister in the eye; "Yes." | TAG WORDS NOTES

Akari continued to be the side line character here. She was trying to follow along with the conversation, but, she didn't really follow too well. There was someone attacking them? Attacking students? But, she wanted to be a student. She sat down in a chair on the side of the room, pulling her feet up off of the floor and her knees to her chest. Resting her chin on them, her hands held on to the top of her head as she started to focus, trying to make sense of it while hearing what people were talking about.
Yasashi was here because someone attacked him, and, she could only think of the people in her life that caused her problems, she didn't have a bigger scope of view on this. It was the cops that bothered her wasn't it? That had to be it. In her mind she just ran through the possibilities and what could happen.
he helped her out, someone saw, someone reported it, it was brought up to her dad before he was arrested, and he went out of his way to make sure Yasashi was hurt? That had to be it, the train of thought was off the rails and it was an all terrain vehicle now!
of course, she was getting distracted from what she was here for, she was here to see Yashasi, but now she felt guilty for something she didn't even have a hand in!
She stood up, trying to clear her throat, as she spoke up to the students in the room, "Uhm, excuse me. I was, I was one dog ring...I was woooondeeerring? I was just thinking! Could you tell me what's going on? I came to visit Yasashi because I know him from the beach, is there something bad going on?"

CAT PURRS: THE BEST MEDICINE THE CAT CONTENTED HIMSELF to being Yasashi’s living scarf, sly green eyes sliding from one person to the next as they spoke. When the blue-haired boy mentioned a villain doing this to Yasashi, an agitated twitch crept into Kuro’s tail, which quivered against Yasashi’s chest. He looked like a cat about to bite the first thing that moved. The humans, and the snail, whirled anxiously about the villain—Sunaho of the Dust Devils, Yasashi proclaimed. There was a “task force” looking for her.
“I could find them…” Kuro murmured, forgetting himself. A bad person had hurt his friend. And if the useless humans couldn’t find the bad person, Kuro certainly could. Cats were good at getting into places that they weren’t supposed to be. He had momentarily forgotten that he was in a room full of strangers. But if they went into an uproar about a talking cat, he was conveniently situated right behind Yasashi’s head—though the thought of using him as a human shield when he was in such a condition was unsympathetic at-best.
The cat’s wide eyes surveyed the humans, and the snail, for their reaction—if any of them made a grab for him, or tried to throw anything, he would cower. Kuro really wanted to bat at the snails’ eye-stalks. He wondered if big snails blinked the same way little ones did, where they eyes sorta folded in on themselves, to protect themselves. He’d have to test this theory as soon as possible.
“Humans don’t know how to look,” the cat reiterated haltingly, “But cats do. We look in all the small places that humans can’t go. I could find Sunaho.”
Perhaps it was a simplistic way of thinking. But Kuro was a cat, and cats were small-minded. He had no plan for finding her, and no plan for what he would do once he found her. But whoever attacked his only friend deserved whatever they had coming to them.
One of the humans, god bless her heart, didn’t even know what was going on. The cat sat up slightly, still perched on Yasashi’s shoulder.
“Someone hurt Yasashi,” the cat said plainly, “Someone bad. Right?”
He glanced to the teen for confirmation, his tail still twitching agitatedly.

Yuuto continued to cut the shark apples as the duo laughed. This is the most out of nowhere thing he has done as of late, doing this out of habit since his sister did teach him a bunch. The only response to that is a audible exhale of air as he kept cutting apples. He waited for them to stop laughing so he can get a proper response to his question. However the response he got was not the most reassuring in the world. The villain in question is someone he had heard of once or twice. If she has the power to bring a guy as big as him to his knees then it's only a matter time before she comes after the rest of the class.
Then came to the realization that he could have lost his quirk. Being the first time he has heard of it, he makes a mental note of it for the future. The drawback of it is quite heavy considering how easily hollow bones break under stress. No matter the case, it's a miracle that he made it out with the injuries he got. Surprises didn't end when he said he saved a bigot. He stopped cutting for a moment as he took a moment to process it. Anti-quirkers are bastards who have no sympathy for the grieving and are all bark with no bite. Taking a deep breath, he spoke up about it.
The sister had an understandable reaction to it so might speak up about it as well.’Your level of tolerance is beyond mine, Yasashi’ he muttered as he went back to making more shark apples.. But it was then the other girl who was here decided to speak up since she was really confused by everything.
“Considering what little I know, seems like he was attacked by a villain who could pose a danger in the future for the other UA students. If this is the level of damage the villain can do to him, then the rest are going to get manhandled until they are captured.”, he states it to her as he adjusts his glasses.
“But most of the danger is mitigated by the agency the big guy mentioned...so it's probably fine for now”
